i just got so mad when i found out that humans refer to today as „Hobbit Day” that i think it just proven that i am, infact, a hobbit.

I have no idea if I sent anything in when I kinfirmed this, or if I just kept it in my notes app where I promptly shunned the kin, but y'know what cringe is dead- shout out to any Smurfs out there.

I find it very funny that I have a Trolls (DreamWorks) kintype and a Smurfs kintype... also, Honorable Mention to the hobbit kintype. What's with me and little guys? Lmfao?? Even now I am, arguably, still a little guy. What is this. Probably my weirdest kin trope to be immediately honest.

Anyways, little about me, I suppose! I lived with the Smurf tribe that lived in the Forbidden Forest, and was the only boy (very Maze Runner of me, I know, I know). Don't ask me how that happened, because I genuinely don't know; what I do know is that it Wasn't magic or Gargamel related, thankfully. I was kinda just. There??? Smurf Willow might've found me, but the memory is fuzzy- I was always bad at accurately retelling other people's stories, anyways, lol. My name was Smurf Oak, or just Oak. I think one of Papa Smurf's kids called me Oakley on occasion? Though I'm not sure who, exactly, nor why? He just thought it was funny, I suppose.

Anywhooo, I'm gonna go watch The Lost Village and spend the duration wondering why I'm not there #noncanonlife 😎

also on that note, calling myself a hobbit feel Really fucking good.

the guy who used to be here [host/fronter from childhood, before i took over] didn't like being short. she fucking hated it. she wished she was larger, she'd always choose tall races in ttrpgs, her favorite characters were always well over 6 foot, such and so on.

i kept that mindset for a long while, for the sake of continuity. but thinking on it.. really thinking on it... i don't mind being [barely] 5' 2" - i kind of wish i were shorter, sometimes. i could fit into so many little nooks & crannies if i were actually hobbit-sized.

in fact... calling myself an "exceptionally tall hobbit" gives me all manner of euphoria :]

I'm elfkin and dress cottagecore and I'm waaay shorter than average and this girl once called me "Bilbo Baggins" and holy SHIT even tho I ain't hobbitkin that's such a powerful amazing complement like i wanted to kick my feet and giggle.

Especially coz she cute and she ran her fingers through my hair n smiled when she said it. Like bruh that gave me euphoria for daysssssssss.

And I stare at dragons and angels with anxiety questioning if I am allowed to speak to such a beautiful creature

And I vibrate at sheeps and goats struggling to not ask to herd them

And I sniff bunnies and opossums and groundhogs and other rodent friendos because I wanna know about your lil guy adventures

And I stare at that one peepy on here with sheer joy because I never saw a talkin peepy before

And I politely bring bears some berries or fish in request for friendship

And I say hello to horsies and wonder why that zebra had no stripes

Oh! Canon style! I've quite a few of those, actually!

My favorite cozy "I'm going to do a project" clothes are probably straight from my hobbit kin, I won't lie. At the time I thought it was just a fun coincidence, but being called a hobbit by all my friends growing up was probably directly related to the influence that kin has always had on me lmfao.

I also like tying ribbons in my hair when I put it up, and I've realized that's probably because of my Wei Wuxian kin! Which is pretty neat!

And probably much more but those are what come to mind first!
