Paying tribute to the source of inspiration for the whole HN2. Like, u know, it has been brought a lot of stuff to the game inspired on «Twin Peaks», not only Gerda and Beatrix that have Norma and Nadine as their kinda-prototypes.

tbh, as much as I love these characters, I think it's about time for the franchise to move on from them.

Like, we already know Nicky's story from the beginning to backwards. Why do we need to see the same story being told a million times?

It's the reason I'd not be hyped for an act 3 sequel. Nicky's story is over. His character is complete. It seems they tried with Reset Day, but it didn't go well. Besides, I'm sure TB would find a way to fuck up a hypothetical sequel.

HN2 felt like a shot at something new, but rn they don't really seem interested in finishing the game, much less expand the universe (given the new movie).

Say what you want about FNAF, that it has crappy writing or whatever, but at least it's constantly moving on to other parts of the same universe, and not unnecessarily limiting themselves to the same cast.
