SHIPPING / RELATIONSHIPS

This blog is multiship, male lean. Fair warning; Lorroakan isn't particularly interested in romance or sex, and he's a prick. I'm open to shipping, BUT ships will most likely be toxic / one-sided, particularly with Rolan (with the potential to develop into something wholesome over time!), and slow burn. By slow I mean glacial. In most cases, at least.

I won't write smut on the dash. The steamy stuff will be moved to discord or IMs.

Pre-established relationships: Yes. While first meeting or "they have been business partners" threads can be fun, they often take a while to get juicy, or they end up fizzling out. Ethan being found out by his sister and forced into psychiatric care. Give me a shrink that handle his therapy sessions. Bonus points if we write it in an asylum.

Similarly, Oscar going to therapy for his PTSD. His disorder being triggered by a particularly taxing case and he's now required to have his psych eval and clearance done.

As always Gage slipping a few rungs down in his sobriety journey and finding his way back. This would largely deal with drugs, heroin specifically, and also alcohol.

TRIGGER WARNING for all of the above plots. They can get pretty dark at times. Mental health, murder, and addiction will be major points for the above plots. Especially with Ethan and Gage.

Also would love something crime related for Ivy. She's a hacker and I'd love to write her against someone on either side of the law. I don't get to write my girls that much and muse for her is pretty high rn too.

It's about time I did a post like this. Hi, I'm Charlie, known to my close friends as Charles or Ferre, and I love writing.

I'm a polytechnic student, and am currently studying for my diploma in Story and Content Creation (for media). I am a huge theatre fan, mainly Les Miserables, and I kinda go batshit crazy over Star Wars at times.

Alright, with all the introductions out of the way, I've been thinking about being more active on Tumblr so I'll be opening writing requests to anyone who may be interested. I mainly write Star Wars and Les Mis, you may check me out at archiveofourown.org/users/CharlesAndCo for the works I have published. (I implore you to ignore my Marvel fics...) But before everything, I do have several boundaries when it comes to writing for requests, so please, I hope you'll respect them if you're thinking of requesting for any fics.

I will absolutely not write /reader fics, even gender neutral readers or male readers.

The ships I specialise in are as follows: for Les Mis, Valvert, Enjoltaire, Courfius, Combeferre/Jehan; for Star Wars: Obikin, QuiObi, Anidala. I would not be opposed to exploring other ships, but I will put my foot down if it comes to any ship I am uncomfortable with, which does not happen often but if it does, consider this a warning.

If I have any ongoing WIPs when you request, especially oneshots that are meant to be gifts to my friends, I will not prioritise your request over the works for them. I love my friends to hell and back, the only way to get around this would be to become my friend, I guess.

NSFW is... well, it depends. I may or may not write NSFW depending on how I feel about it. To put it simply, I have had bad experience when it comes to sex, and so sometimes certain things do trigger me and bring back bad memories. So unless you really think that I would enjoy writing the NSFW request you send in, I'd appreciate it if you mainly stick to SFW works. Thanks :)

1) were empowered multiples originally coming from a stance of “we weren’t created out of trauma” or “we aren’t disordered” bc from your essay, i got the impression that the original debate was about how empowered multiples were more functional than survival multiples bc they didn’t need tw , therapy , etc

2) where do the ideas of tulpas originally come from

Hey, anon! Thanks for the ask! Sorry for the kind of long answer.

For your 2nd question on tulpas, this article might be helpful to you.

For your 1st question, empowered multiplicity came from a stance of “we aren’t disordered.” Empowered multiplicity = non-disordered plurality. That’s really all that there is. 

If you’re interested in more, though, here’s a bit of a ramble under the read-more...

Back in the days of empowered multiplicity, it became a pretty popular community over time before phasing into the non-disordered plural communities that we now have today. That’s why, in my essay, I tried to look mostly at the people who coined the term “empowered multiplicity” and how the early community was using it.

The plurals who came up with empowered multiplicity were called Shaytar and Bekaio. They ended up creating a website/forum specifically for empowered multiples called MultiGardens.

Unfortunately, a lot of these extremely early things (talking prior to 1999) just weren’t archived but if you find anything cool, hmu!

In a later essay that they wrote in 2000, Shaytar explained that they came up with empowered multiplicity with Bekaio simply because they needed a word that wasn’t DID/MPD. They said that their idea of multiplicity was something entirely separate and different from DID. It could be either traumagenic or non-traumagenic...it just couldn’t be DID.

Why did they use the term “multiplicity” for this despite its inherent ties to DID? Well, in their essay they explained that they only used the word “multiplicity” because they originally believed they had DID...and they simply had no other word to convey their experiences at the time. (And also later expressed that if they had found the soulbonding community first then they probably would have used their terminology instead of the DID community’s.)

Even though Shaytar and Bekaio were the coiners of empowered multiplicity, it was really Dark Personalities’ interpretation of empowered multiplicity that popularized the concept. Their interpretation was particular ableist; they made the empowered multiplicity community EXTREMELY focused on functionality. Their interpretation hinged on this whole idea that people couldn’t be empowered if they were “soft” survivors who needed therapy, trigger warnings, and safe spaces--which is ableist. I get it, but it’s flat out ableist.

I mean...sure, at least the empowered multiplicity community was sometimes accepting of survivors, but it’s really the things they were saying about disabled survivors. Even if some of them were fellow survivors, some of the stuff I read on those websites was like a fucking sucker punch.

To quote Collective Phenomenon: “I don’t give a rip how functional you are or think you are in comparison to other multiples– if you call it ‘MPD’ or ‘DID’ or refer to yourself as a disorder, you are not an empowered multiple. You can call yourself whatever the hell you want, but when your page is about nothing but your therapy sessions and how much you hate being multiple and all those icky alters and your newest horrible flashback that made you want to go jump off a cliff, all I can say is that there’s nothing new under this sun. ” (X)

^ The ironic part is that this is from an essay on why empowered multiplicity was inclusive of survivors...just not the disabled ones, lol!

As you can guess, a lot of people were fucking angry and hurt over all of this stuff. Looking through these old websites showed nothing new to me. The same discourse people are having in the present day were being had all the way back then.

The only archived piece of MultiGardens I could ever find was this one page from 2000 announcing when they were shutting it down. Guess the main reason why they shut it down?

Introducing my nano 2021 project:

THE ANTHOLOGY OF ELIZABETH GRAHAM

Genre: New Adult, Coming-of-Age, Contemporary Romance

Major Themes: Healing, breaking the cycle, you never know people as well as you think.

Word Count Goal: 50k

Synopsis: Elizabeth Graham has spent three years pining after Barry Morgenstern from afar. Determined to not make her parent's mistakes and inflict herself on him, she copes by imagining and writing stories about the two of them -- in fantasy worlds, in high school, in arranged marriages. Anything but real life.

Barry Morgenstern has spent four years trying to believe his life isn't over after he lost his arm in a car crash senior year of high school. His best friend is still around, he broke out of a toxic relationship, and he has a genius engineer crafting him a free hyper-advanced cyber prosthetic. Most days, he's successful.

When the two of them are paired up for a group project and Barry discovers her journals full of these stories, she expects him to run the other way, possibly screaming. But Barry doesn't scare easily; more than that, despite his best friend's protests, he's curious.

But everyone knows what that did to the cat.

Trigger Warnings: internalized ableism, mentions of physical abuse and emotional abuse, discussion of past toxic relationship, at one point a character attempts suicide*

trust, a wip by yours truly!           -and, importantly, the sequel to gifted!

Genre: New Adult, Speculative Fiction, Superhero

Major Themes: Forgiveness, Family (found and otherwise), Secrets, Betrayal, Genre-Typical Violence

Synopsis:  Against all odds, Sofia Smith survived her first year at Falks University for the Training of Gifted Heroes. After a summer of trying to repair her friendship with Kruze, she’s looking forward to returning to school and seeing all of her friends — even if she’s still mad at Leona and Rocco for how last year ended.

Between mentoring one of the incoming freshman on Mr. Black’s orders, continuing her Hero education, finding out why Romilly hasn’t contacted her in months, and solving the mystery of the boy who attacked her and her classmates the year before, she has a full plate. And all of that is before she finds out what Rocco is hiding.

However, not everything is as it seems. Her new mentee bears some suspicious scars, the board has taken a personal interest in her education, Romilly seems to be avoiding her, and the boy’s story looks more and more to be closely interwoven with Sofia’s. If she wants to make it through her year, she’ll have to overcome her newfound trust issues — and with a mole in their midst, informing the Villains of their every move, this will be harder than ever.

Hello, hello, HELLO PEOPLE!!

My name is Luka (yes, with a K cause I'm pretentious like that. No, not from the miraculously ladybug character nor the vocaloid), I also respond to Sprog, and I like to draw (among other things)!

I use they/it/any neo pronouns (but not noun pronouns e.i. xe/xyr= yes, bat/batself= no). Feel free to practice your friend's neos with me!

I speak English and Italian fluently, and Spanish and French as well. Feel free to hmu in those languages as well!

I use lots of exclamation points!! Hope that doesn't bother anyone!!!

I usually do fanart, so the occasional Oc will be tagged as #Luka&Ocs.

Each piece of fanart will be tagged as the fandom of origin and name of the character for easy finding!

I will tag any eventual nsfw as #NSFW, and any possible triggers as #tw name of the trigger (e.i. #tw blood). If there's any need for a specific trigger warning, hmu with an ask (anon if you wish)!

i said i wasn’t going to do this until i had all of my replies done but i’m a liar ig (i think i have to be if i want to get this up before the event’s over), so here’s my event plot call for ash!

pre-10pm

ash doesn’t really wanna be there but when has he ever? for the first few hours, he’ll be chilling and watching the clock. find him in the basement or the bar most of the time, but he might drop in to grab some food in the main room. he’d also be down to drop in the self-studio and take some pics with friends just to get some peace and quiet if anyone wants that. all possible places to set a thread!

idk that he cares much about the silent auction but i think it’d be funny if he accidentally wrote his name down for someone’s item and then didn’t want to look bad by crossing his name out and no one outbid him so he ends up accidentally buying someone’s item and then having to be like wow :) yes :) i wanted this badly i’m so glad i spent maybe thousands of dollars on it :)

i don’t think he’d sell anything in the silent auction because idt he has the self-esteem to think he has anything to offer to other celebrities but i’ll edit this and update it if i come up with something

um before 10pm he’ll be in pretty decent spirits? so catch up with him, drink with him, dance with him, party with him, etc while you can! by the 27th he’ll officially be 26 (13 year old on stan twt vc: hag) as his birthday is on the 24th so idk !! vaguely slightly belated birthday related stuff would be rad too since he’ll probably spend his actual birthday alone in his room crying as always

post-10pm will be ash internal crisis / possible mess time

so ash’s blind item drops at 10pm (for reference he is 10pm “singer t”) and i don’t imagine he’d know about it right away, but i think maybe a friend texts him or someone he knows at the party mentions the blind items to him and from then on, he’s Not Doing So Well.

the main point of his rumor is that his hiatuses haven’t been because of the reasons given, but because he’s been misbehaving and “doing things he isn’t supposed to do” whatever tf that means !! and it’s partially true? his latest hiatus he specifically requested because he was in a bad place mentally but it really only got granted because bc realized he was like one blurry picture at a party away from ending his career over snorting coke at a party. that part of it gets to him because he still cares a lot about what people think even though he likes to think he’s gotten better about it 

like do people think he’s faking his struggles for his own benefit? is he faking his struggles for his own benefit and despite his unimpressive acting abilities has managed to convince multiple health professionals it’s true? (obviously no but he’s having a crisis)

so return of ash panicking over his public perception

the bc reveal could also prompt conversation as the night winds down. ash fully believes it and brings up a lot of questions about what he’s going to do after his second contract with bc renews. will it be an impossible upward battle to even keep working in the industry when/if he doesn’t renew? 

all of these are topics of conversation i’d really love to explore!! ash will probably be varying degrees of tipsy/drunk after 10pm and varying degrees of emotional mess, but he will probably be a lot less elusive about his feelings than he usually is?

he’s also down to talk abt other muse’s reactions to any rumors related to them? ash is very much not a saint and there’s like a 34% ash will be a sympathetic shoulder to cry on and a 66% chance he will make it abt himself tho fair warning. totally down to have your muse hate him if he does try to make it abt himself tho

but also ash sitting in a corner almost crying at like 1am n the staff are trying to subtly make him leave and he is not getting the message and your muse is like bro !! you/we need to leave !!

🥮 Hello and welcome! I’m Mod Juice, and I mainly write for Fate/Grand Order characters. I also write for Kara no Kyoukai, Fate/Requiem, Fate/Apocrypha,  Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Zero characters... for now. I’m slowly falling into the Nasuverse, so I might write for other series in the future if I feel comfortable and confident about it! 

I play both FGO JP/NA and spoil myself main story-wise, so it’s okay to request characters from both servers! Although there may be some currently JP exclusive events that I have not read up on. 

☕ This blog serves you headcanons (which are bullet-pointed short thoughts), imagines (longer thoughts but they’re not up to scenario-length) and scenarios (they’re basically one-shots and can be continuous if I have more ideas).

☕ You can request up to 3 characters per ask for a headcanon/imagine ask, but only 1 character in a scenario ask. I may accept requesting more than 3 characters if those servants are in a group (eg: New Argonauts, Round Table Knights, Sakura Five). I only accept up to 8 requests at a time because I put in a lot of effort into doing research for the characters! 

☕  Character X Sender is what I usually write for, but other pairings is okay with me too! You can request from rare pairs to canonical pairs to crack pairs! But if I feel like there’s not much to write about them, it may be short, sorry! 

☕ The more specific the ask, the better! Don’t hesitate to flesh out your requests before sending them in, (eg: general domestic headcanons for _insert character(s)_). I will reblog some prompts too and you can request from that list too. I’m not too good at writing smut or NSFW but I may write it depending on the ask. These will be tagged #nsfw / #smut.

☕ Paedophilia and incest are OFF the request table, so don’t send me asks about these. I may write for topics regarding physical, emotional, mental/substance abuse, gore and mental illness if requested, but I will always make sure there are trigger warnings, under the cut and tagged with #cw//. It’s a soft ‘no’ on polyamorous relationships and OC’s, so these are off the table too.
