when i think of the dr being multidimensional, i dont think he would have characteristics/physicalities that a human would recognize (so no tentacles or nothing he aint slenderman nor cthulu) because i imagine that a humanoid body is perfect for the third dimension, while everything that we cant see with timelords is for the fourth dimension.

something that has been integral in reclaiming my judaism in my adult life when it hasn't always been the most kind to the queer and trans parts of myself has been focusing on the values and the stories and the themes that resonate and that align with my values and my sense of self. so many of our stories talk about a history of oppression and a constant moving towards liberation, and that resonates not only with me personally, but with the things i like to explore in my writing. especially for shisui.

it also is meaningful for me to explore jewish themes, folklore, culture, and symbolism in my writing the same way art, writing, and media has been pulling from christian imagery for inspiration for years. like, what sort of illusions to divinity and struggle and liberation and community and culture can be pulled from different religious texts, different practices?
