Day 1 with the Grimmchild

Note: this probably will not be daily but I want to tell everyone about my adventures with the Grimmchild

It took me a while to find the corpse, I looked up a map of the Howling Cliffs on the wiki because my map isn’t complete yet.

I’ve lit the lantern, I thought the Dream Nail didn’t work at first but when I went back to the main room I realized it did work and I’m just an idiot.

So after doing that, I decided to go back to Dirtmouth, but didn’t want to go through King’s Pass again, so I went to Greenpath’s Stag Station. Once I got back to Dirtmouth I went to talk to Elderbug right away, of course the Troupe’s tents were there and he was starring at them (as always when you summon the troupe).

I talked to Brumm and then the goth dad himself, Grimm. As always, I got the child.

Afterwords I equipped my new friend, and went to look for the Grimmkin, first in the crossroads, then in Greenpath, I found the Greenpath Grimmkin and tried fighting it, then I was on one mask and freaked out and started running away, as I tend to do when I’m low on masks. The Novice chased me, and I ran into a fucking Moss Charger.

Since the timelines for the games are weird, and we don’t know the lifespan or how old anybody is, i’ve tied some of these characters to npcs in the game, but the story of these characters is happening sometime after the infection has gone and all that.

Leif- The praying mantis guy, who, for a reason I haven’t figured out yet, was banished of left the mantis village or something? originally I wanted him to be the son of the traitor lord, so the traitor’s child would be his older sister, who would’ve died when he was a child.

Shadow- The placeholder name Leif gave to the vessel, although most of the group just calls them “little shadow” or the “little guy” They’re suppose to be older (??? whatever aging is for them??) than the knight in the games, probably around the size of the broken vessel or somewhere in-between.

Marlie (for now) - The fluffy purple bug with four arms. I wanted her to be some kind of novice cartographer, or some kind of knowledge seeker, or researcher or something. She kind of has an “older sister” relationship with the vessel, and gives them piggy-back rides because they’re baby.

Alphonse (for now) - The blue one with wings. I wanted to tie him to the colosseum of fools somehow, so far, he was captured as a child and forced to fight, eventually becoming the famous “Blue Knight” the champion of the colosseum. The colosseum is definitely still active after the infection, maybe even under new rule, but I haven’t decided. Alphonse used to live in the city of tears, as a child before the fall of Hallownest, and was childhood friends with Leif, who would come to visit from the mantis village often.

this is just some basic ideas, maybe ill put it all together someday who knows

Event "Changing Clothes" with Asalia

My new oc Marbles the glass vessel. He's a shade that uses a glass jar as a makeshift head/shell. (The glass is made out of a special material) he change the shape of his head.
