I think i’ve finalized the hollowknightification of my bug god ocs (they usually look more like this, or this) so ofc to celebrate i gave them a sad story that ends in separation !
Sol (small fella) and Lune (big fella) are traveling siblings who happened to be passing through Dirtmouth. The knight (or ghost? can the player character be considered “the” or “a” “knight”? i guess i’ll find out) encounters them a few times while traveling through Hallownest, always at deeper and deeper levels. It seems the siblings encounter harsher and harsher struggles, for the deeper they go, the more bandages Sol wears, around their face and body, as if they haven’t had time to heal from one enemy before the next is on them. And yet, somehow Lune remains unscathed...
oh and then i guess there’s an infected Sol boss fight (i just think it would be neat) and then Lune would hate u for forever </3
#my ocs#hk_ocs#tbh their names should be changed i dont feel like sol and lune are very hollowknighty names#they r two travelers who were passing by dirtmouth ig idk#and then somehow sol got infected#they had old injuries (lost wings + 3 arms on their left side + left w a big scar across their body OH and also lost 1 eye)#og sol had a better time of it since they didn't lose any arms lmao#and like the infection used those to get in or whatever idkkk im just trying to stay on theme with og sol's injuries#then they stayed bc they maybe heard a little of hallownest's history and were hoping to somehow find a cure? or something idk#idk how the infection/radiance/whatever it is works#and idk what bugs know about it or not#but yearh...maybe i'll try drawing infected sol's boss form#the infection gives them back their wings but it's like. goo wings so it's all fucked up#and at the end they say something about having wanted to fly again#doesn't that just sound fun!#hollow knight fanart#hollow knight fancharacter#artists on tumblr#hollow knight comic#traditional art#oh and later i wanna try drawing hollow knight characters in my bug fellas style#technically it doesnt make sense since all my bug fellas are actually gods but we r going to pretend it somehow does make sense
