people might get mad at me for saying this but. the first 20 seconds of kierans champion theme in indigo disk sounds so so much like a christopher larkin track. like im certain if you just clipped the first 20 seconds and maybe changed the soundfront a LITTLE you could totally convince people less hollow knight-autism-inclined that its a hk track

Story time!
so today @chaotic-halfblood-kit sent a few short-haired allura pics to the gc while i was on my way to school, and i forgot to get off the bus at my stop bc I was freaking out over her and normally someone else would press the ‘i wanna get off this stop’ button... so yeah... i missed it
and t h e n I was freaking out because holy fuck shit i only had like twenty minutes left to arrive at school on time and i was in unfamiliar territory. screaming ensued (you can ask @kieran-lovebot for confirmation) and i was, officially, lost.
Well luckily i wan’t a complete idiot and i opened city mapper, which is some kind of map app (lmao) and i found a way to get to school. I had to walk 2.1km. now, my school is on top of a fucking mountain since mountains are everywhere in hk, so i thought i had to climb up some steep slopes and etc. I had also conveniently forgot to bring water. because i’m dumb like that.
onwards to my great journey! I walked for like three to five minutes next to the main roads (yk, like normal pavements) and. and the road i was going down (or up) led me to a fucking hiking trail.
yes, you heard me. a hiking trail.
I thought it was a dead end at first but upon further inspection, it revealed itself to be the only way to school. Now, I am very not fond of nature, since I am afraid of small things that can fly (excluding birds) and smaller things that walk very fast. I’m fine with insects… unless they are in my close vicinity. But, alas, there was no other way and my only option was to go forward.
So I went. With a heavy bag filled with textbooks and knickknacks on my back and wearing the school uniform. With heels.
At first, I thought it would be easy, since the first thing I saw was just a normal hiking trail with no stairs and whatnot, but I was proved wrong when I turned the corner and saw a flight of stairs. Leading to my destination. I could already see on the app that it was going to be a tricky journey with lots of twists, but I wasn’t expecting stairs.
So, with no other option, I climbed the stairs. Now, I have (quite obviously, since I live in a place practically covered in mountains) hiked before, and so walking up stairs was no new experience. I have not, however, walked up stone stairs in heels. It was painful. My shoes kept digging into my foot and I considered taking my shoes off multiple times, but my socks aren’t exactly hiking material, either. After a few minutes, I finally reached the top of the section I had to climb… or so I thought.
Turns out there were more stairs waiting for me to conquer. Somewhere along the way, I started to get dizzy and, upon realising that I’m allowed to take off my mask in not-city places, I stuffed my mask in my pocket. I get heat strokes quite easily so I knew I had to hurry before I get worse. I saw another path along the road but, since it didn’t have stairs and wasn’t very noticeable, I didn’t thought it to be of any importance. I ignored that road and continued on.
A few stairs later, I saw a bench next to the trail and decided to sit down and take out my phone to check my progress. However, I had diverted off the path I had to take to reach my school, and, on a whim, decided to try walking on the small trail I noticed earlier. It was just a dirt path with wildlife on both sides, and was practically swarming with butterflies and ants and a million other things I had no knowledge of.
At some point, a giant black butterfly was sitting smack in the middle of the road. I had no other choice but to rush through it, since the trail was too narrow for me to avoid it without touching any plants, and the plants were covered in things I would rather not mention. I was nearing a breakdown (since come on, I’m on a mountain, with no company, no water, and in heels) and couldn’t hold it in anymore, so I just. Screamed and started running to get out of that damn trail faster.
The butterfly moved and I was TERRIFIED, because I am very, very afraid of butterflies (for no logical reason), and seeing that there wasn’t anyone around I could freak out. So I screamed some more and made no move to bat away the butterfly. I didn’t want to touch it but at the same time I had to go through the path it was blocking, so I just stood there. Screaming on the top of my lungs.
The butterfly went away after a few moments, and I just panicked and ran down the trail, screaming louder whenever I came across another butterfly. I was, quite obviously, terrified. It doesn’t help that hk is full of butterflies.
After running for god knows how long, the trail ended and I arrived at a stone path. At least I think it was a stone path. There were less butterflies on that path (i think it’s there for construction and management purposes) so I stopped screaming and power walked down it. I had my phone out but I couldn’t figure out where I was supposed to go, since the stone path ended in a dead end- right next to the traffic road.
Looking over the fence that separated me from the traffic, I glimpsed a pedestrian road and almost collapsed in relief. However, I had no way to go to that road, since you know, there’s a goddamn fence separating me from it.
So I climbed over the fence (with my schoolbag, mind you) and landed on the pavement. In my heels.
I twisted my ankle (no surprise there) and also scraped my elbow, but figured that those things weren’t important as I could see my school now. Salvation!
I just had to go down the pedestrian’s road (i was on a mountain and the pavement on mountains basically encircle the mountain) and reach my school. I have never felt so relieved in my entire life.
When I arrived at school, my classmate asked if it was raining outside, because I was soaked. In my own sweat.
But it was worth it (kind of) to be on time!
anywayssss moral of the story: Don’t freak out over pretty girls when you’re on a bus, kids.

Q&A: various
littledreamer9221 said:Are we going to see more of Tessa and Jem in qoaad?
Yes, but considerably more of them in Ghosts of the Shadow Market, since it is about Jem — and Tessa as well! We do learn a significant thing about Jem and Tessa in QuaaD, though.
swimmergirl12022 said:Hi Cassie I love all the tsc books so much, but I have a question about qoaad: if all parabatai bonds are destroyed, would there be any way to recreate them (like clary making a rune?) thx so much 😊
Nope. :)
hk-herondale said:Hey Cassie! Will we get to see Lily’s reaction to Malec naming their kid after Raphael?
Yes! Learn About Loss, which is the seventh story in Ghosts of the Shadow Market, is going to be a bro road trip story for Lily and Alec, like Thor and the Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok (a definitive classic of our time). Lily and Alec will find little Rafael together, and Lily will open up to Alec about her past, which I think you may all find surprising!
a-whole-bunch-of-stuff said:Hi Cassie! I've wondering since finishing LoS about succession in the Unseelie Court. It is implied that Kieran might have been King after his father, but he is neither the eldest nor the favorite so why did his father view him as a threat? Was it because his people loved him and might have dethroned the King somehow in favor of Kieran? Thank you!
You are correct! It’s implied, and more clear in QUAAD, that the people of Unseelie aren’t too pleased with the King, and that Kieran was immensely popular. The King’s cruelty to him hasn’t gone unnoticed either. It’s pretty common in history for kings to regard princes and nobles who enjoy massive popular support as a threat even if they’re not “next in line” — and Faerie has a very messy succession anyway.
princekierz said:Hi Cassie. When you mentioned the books that would be coming out in the future you didn't any mention to the wicked powers. What happened? Was this series canceled?
My God, no. I mean I guess I could retire, but I am not planning to! I didn’t mention it because it’s not on my schedule at the moment. I couldn’t possibly guess at its release dates, since I haven’t even sold the project to a publisher yet, so there’s no point putting it on a release date calendar. I did add it to the post, though.
tidtlhtmitdatwp1903 said:Hi Cassie! I was wondering if you will do a panel by panel cover reveal with each short story, as you did with the Bane Chronicles and TFSA, for the Ghosts of the Shadow Market anthology? Will the cover match the other anthologies? Love your books!
It won’t be a panel by panel reveal, because this time each story has its own individual piece of art. I’ve been posting little pieces of them and you’ll see the full cover for Son of the Dawn very soon. As for the cover for the final print edition, that will look more like the covers of Tales and The Bane Chronicles.

Angular stadium for Minnesota Vikings will host the 52nd Super Bowl
America's most popular sporting event, the Super Bowl, will take place next week at a new stadium in Minneapolis, featuring angular protrusions, zinc cladding and a roof partly made of plastic film.
Located in downtown Minneapolis, the US Bank Stadium is home to the Minnesota Vikings, a member of the National Football League (NFL). Encompassing 1.8 million square feet (167,225 square metres), the building also serves as a venue for events such as concerts, conventions and high school and college athletic games.
On 2 February, the 66,200-seat stadium will host the 52nd Super Bowl, the most important American football game of the year. The Philadelphia Eagles will play the New England Patriots at the venue, in a match predicted to be the country's most-watched sporting event.
The building occupies a prominent urban site totalling 38 acres (15 hectares). Wrapped in a faceted envelope, the steel-frame building has a sculptural form influenced by the region's Scandinavian heritage and natural topography.
"HKS designed the building to reflect the culture, climate and context of its city, drawing inspiration from ice formations on nearby St Anthony's Falls, as well as Scandinavian design such as Viking longboats," said the US-based firm, which has offices around the globe.
The exterior walls consists of dark zinc panelling set against vast sheets of glass. An angular protrusion on the western elevation has invoked references to the prow of Viking ships.
One of the building's prominent features is The Legacy Gate, which consists of five pivoting glass doors that range in height from 75 to 95 feet (22 to 29 metres). When opened, the gate connects the stadium to an adjacent plaza.
The building is topped with a sloped roof, part of which is made of ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE), the same type of plastic used for the new US embassy in London by Kieran Timberlake and for the Eden Project in the UK, designed by Grimshaw Architects. It is the first major stadium in America to have an ETFE roof.
"ETFE, a lightweight and transparent material, comprises the entire southern facet of the roof line," the architects said.
"The translucent ETFE roof withstands the brutal weather of Minneapolis' climate, while flooding the interior with natural daylight, creating the feeling of being outdoors without subjecting players or fans to the elements."
HKS initially considered a retractable roof for the stadium, but the cost was too high, particularly given that usage would be limited due to the high amounts of snow and ice in Minneapolis during the NFL season – which runs from September to the first week in February.
While conceiving the shape of the roof, the team looked to Nordic architecture for ideas.
"The first objective in designing the form of the building was to get snow off the roof of the stadium as quickly and simply as possible," the team said.
"To reduce structural loads and minimise building costs, we analysed traditional Nordic architecture, determining that a sloped roof would offer both cultural and structural precedent to the challenge of building in Minneapolis' snowy climate."
The sloped roof also forms a "lofted interior heat reservoir", which stores heat generated by the sun and helps melt snow on the rooftop. The building also contains a system of vertical air risers that distribute the warm air to the seating bowl below.
In total, the stadium has seven levels, which includes two concourses with 360-degree circulation. The playing field is encircled by seating that begins just 41 feet (12 metres) from the sidelines.
The stadium boasts 131 suites, nearly two dozen of which are situated on the field. Six clubs are available for private events, such as corporate meetings and weddings.
"One of the stadium's clubs – Mystic Lake's Club Purple – offers two unique features targeting millennial audiences," the architects said.
"The first is an exterior rooftop area with sweeping views of the Minneapolis skyline, and the second is a seating area in the stadium bowl with the look and feel of a rooftop bar, replete with couches and table service."
The building has a number of sustainable features, which enabled it to earn LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council. In addition to natural illumination provided by glass walls and the plastic roof, the team incorporated LED sports lighting, which significantly reduces energy consumption.
"LED lighting – the first of its kind in a new NFL stadium – can adjust colour temperatures and turn off and on quickly to allow for unique pregame and halftime entertainment and an enhanced viewing experience," the architects said.
Spectators are encouraged to use public transit to get to the stadium, or to use the city's existing 32,000 parking spaces that are within a 20-minute walk. The stadium has only 200 parking spaces, which are designated for the players.
Another major stadium by HKS is now under construction in Los Angeles and will house the LA Rams football team. The design calls for a giant, sculptural roof made of perforated metal and ETFE. The stadium will total nearly three million square feet (278,700 square metres).

Anyway, saw that it is SUPPOSED to seem like jibberish? But I'm not sure if such cipherings exist of randomly-placed letters together
There was an image that I posted earlier about this stuff. I'm not sure if it'll give you a clue or not though.

I believe some people have already started to decipher it.
Please don't tell me that they're back.
