Hitaki - Favorite Type
Disclaimer: Morganatic Idol belongs to CYBIRD & ABC Frontier, Inc.
My Notes: Translation is for entertainment purpose only. Translation may or may not be correct. Please ignore any grammar mistakes.
Hitaki: My favorite type? Well……, I like honest and cheerful people like you.
Hitaki: Their behavioral patterns are easy to read, and they are obedient, so they are easy to control.
---
Err……
Hitaki: Ah, you look a bit put off. Maybe I was being a bit too outspoken.
Hitaki: But my answer just now is not a lie. I like you quite a bit.
---
That's not a compliment.
Hitaki: Well, I did mean it as a compliment.
Hitaki: You have things that I don't have, and I think you're really cute.
---
Is that really your favorite type?
Hitaki: Ah, I guess that's a bit off in terms of being a love interest.
Hitaki: But I do enjoy talking with you. So maybe it’s not really incorrect?
---
Hitaki: On the other hand, what kind of men do you like? I'd like to know for reference.
Hitaki: No comment? Fufu, that's fine. Then let me gradually find out more from now on.
Hitaki: Or maybe it would be interesting to change the preference itself.

Nagi

Warnings and FAQ
One early afternoon, on my day off.
I found myself caught up in something unexpected.
(There’s nothing much to do today, so I guess I’ll take the occasional break.)
Rina: Oh, huh?
I chanced upon Sakura and the members of Gem Cuddle standing face to face with serious expressions.
Rina: Is there a reason why everyone is gathered?
Sakura: Oh. Thanks for your hard work, Kawanaga.
Sakura: We were just discussing Nagi’s work matters.
Hitaki: Actually, Nagi received a casting offer to star in a movie.
Rina: A casting offer…!?
Miu: For the lead role in a romance movie.
Nagi’s name was indeed indicated in the proposal.
“An unpopular young dancer becomes a global superstar while earnestly dealing with conflicts in love and friendship”...
The plot seemed to suit Nagi well.
However, Nagi’s facial expression was unexpectedly grim.
Nagi: I can’t act to save my life, no way I’m starring in a movie.
Miu: Geez, you’ve been saying that for a while now! Didn’t take acting lessons?
Miu: It’ll be fine once you get used to it, so just accept the offer.
Nagi: You’re only able to say that because it’s not your business. In the first place, I’m an idol.
Nagi: We have a live performance coming up, I should be spending my time preparing for that.
(Nagi is very passionate about dancing, so it’s understandable he wants to focus on practising for the upcoming live performance).
Sakura: Hmm, I understand how you feel, but…
Sakura muttered with a troubled look.
Sakura: It’s already been decided that Gem Cuddle will sing the theme song for this movie.
Sakura: It would make the fans happy if Nagi were to be chosen as the lead actor, thus giving a boost to the movie’s publicity.
Nagi: …
(Could there be some other reason why he’s being so stubborn?)
That’s what I thought, but I could only watch their discussion from the sidelines.
Miu: Ahh– for good's sake! This is getting nowhere. In any case, Nagi, you should start practising your acting.
Miu: In that case, you'll need motivation. For example, you could do your script reading with her as your partner.
I felt a pat on my shoulder as I heard myself being mentioned all of a sudden.
Rina: W-Why me? I can’t act at all.
Miu: Eh? It’s easier to practise with a partner than alone, you know?
Hitaki: Based on the script, it certainly looks like this character has many interactions with the female lead. That makes Kawanaga a suitable partner for script reading.
(Huh!? Hitaki too.)
Nagi: No, hold on. This will become a bother for her too.
Nagi: Besides, this problem only concerns me. I’m saying that I don't want anything taking my focus away from the live performance.
Hitaki: We’ll support you in that, we’re not going to let you shoulder all the burden yourself.
Hitaki: Why don’t you try doing a round of script reading with her first? I believe it won’t be too late to decide afterwards if you want to accept the casting offer or not.
Sakura: I agree. Once you know the feel of the production, you’ll be able to consider it in a more positive light.
Seeing the hopefulness in Sakura’s facial expression made me feel an urge to lend a hand despite my discomfort.
(I’d be glad if Nagi would accept the offer. In that case…)
Rina: I understand. If I’m really suitable for the task, I’ll do it.
…
Nagi and I moved to the lesson room to do script reading.
(I wonder if Nagi’s upset about being forced into this…)
Nagi: Oi.
Rina: Yes?!
Nagi: … I’m sorry for dragging you into this mess.
Rina: Oh, no… I was just worried that I might’ve disregarded your boundaries.
Rina: I accepted the task, so I’ll do my best to help your acting practice go smoothly.
Nagi responded with an “okay” when I looked up at him with determination.
Nagi: I was too stubborn. I’m going to properly take this challenge, and I’ll be counting on you.
Rina: Sure!
We checked through the script and picked a good scene to practise.
The scene we picked was “the protagonist’s childhood friend, the female protagonist, is complimenting his dancing”.
(This scene involves dancing, which is something Nagi has in common with his character; it seems like a perfect scene for us to practise.)
(But it’s also mentioned that the two protagonists in this scene were “as close as lovers”. That part is kind of embarrassing…)
(T-This weak attitude is no good. I must focus!)
I took a deep breath to calm myself down before turning to face Nagi.
… And so, we started acting.
Rina: The dance moves you just did were amazing! My heart was racing while watching you.
Nagi: That’s what you say every time, but there’s still a part of the choreography I’m not satisfied with.
Rina: You’re so attentive to details. But perhaps all that practising is what made you who you are today.
(... What’s this? The topic is dance, so it feels like I’m saying all that to Nagi himself.)
(Maybe that’s why I can recite my lines with ease?)
Nagi appeared calm as well, responding naturally with his character’s lines.
(This should go well without problems if we keep this up…)
Nagi: Goodness, look at you saying such things without a hint of embarrassment. However…
Nagi suddenly leaned forward and reached towards me.
(Huh?)
The thoughts flying through my head stopped the instant he moved closer, and I felt his warm and large hand gently stroke my hair.
(H-He’s… acting out the movements described in the script.)
My heart was hammering against my chest from the sudden contact.
I couldn’t peel my eyes off Nagi’s beautiful face that was right before my eyes.
Nagi: Your words never fail to cheer me up.
Nagi: That’s why, I’ve been thinking of giving you something in return.
Nagi: I wanted to tell you this in a cool way, but… at the end of the day, I really just want to be by your side.
(... Hm? There was an odd pause just now.)
Nagi: Can I stay by your side forever? Because then…
Nagi: …
Nagi: … Damn. I can’t bring myself to continue.
Nagi muttered as he moved away from me and sighed.
Rina: What’s wrong all of a sudden?
(His acting was going well so far. But… was that strange pause I noticed just now not my imagination?)
Rina: Um… to an amateur like me, I think your acting was very natural.
Rina: Even so, do you perhaps still feel uncomfortable with acting?
Nagi seemed to be deep in thought for a moment, before he slowly spoke in response.
Nagi: … I’ll be honest. The thing I dislike isn't acting itself.
Rina: Really?
Nagi: Yeah. The real reason why I was hesitant to accept the casting offer is—

Morganatic Idol Characters (My opinion!)
XENO
The more I look at him, the more I think he's beautiful. I really love the colours on him. I don't know if I would like his personality though...he is said to be arrogant, so I hope he is arrogant in a funny way like Yoritomo and not an arrogant silent type which I don't really enjoy. I generally don't enjoy silent types you only gives answer through stares. But looks-wise he's at top 3.
IVY
He's the big brother character of this game. Nothing more to say.
JACE
I won't sugar coat it. I don't like this guy. He looks nice (design-wise), but his personality type is girls. Even his bio tells that he had hook-ups with girls before his debut. That's not a bad thing, I just hope he doesn't end up like a cringy flirt who stares at the MC from head to toe like....you know what I mean, right? He's the flirty male lead, but I hope they give him a personality outside that like they did for Arthur and Sueharu.
FINN
There always needs to be body builder in the cast, same as there needs to be a flirty male character. I don't really care about him that much....but I'll acknowledge his presence...I guess. I'm not that into large men with ripped body (except for Benkei and Morinaga...and Ibuki and Kurama, the 4 Heavenly Brawny Kings!)
HUGH
You my dear sir, you're an angel! Hugh has to be my fav character because I'm so attracted to his beauty. From his bio, he looks to be like Ieyasu, very silent and always to himself, but he is also expressionless like Yoshitsune. He doesn't sound like a tsundere, but....IDK, I really like him! I did say that I don't like characters who reply with only stares, but he does feel warm like Yoshitsune.
MIU
This guy looks to be one of those characters who looks very friendly from outside, but inside is full of shit! Full of madness! Crazy madness. That's all I can say about him. I'm kinda interested.
HITAKI
Looks like a prince but inside is full of shit. I can feel Alphonse when he talks (ofc they both have the same va). He is one of those prince characters who will smile like this (⌒‿⌒) infront of his fans but when he's with MC, he is gonna tie her up, gag her and spank her 50 times for speaking to other men. I like him and he is at top 4 for now just for his looks.
NAGI
He's the maknae of the 2nd group. He looks to be the purest and innocent soul out the this crazy pool of male leads. I think I'll enjoy his presence.
Sakura Eito (I still have doubts about his name)
This guy......Hohoho...if you know me, I like my blonde hair blue eyes male leads. So you know this guy is gonna be my fav (unless his personality is boring) but dude...who cares about the male leads, when their producer and President of their company looks like this...But Hugh is still my fav. You are my 2nd fav.
MC - Rina Kawanaga
I have nothing to say about her design. Looks like a generic MC design so I hope her personality is interesting. Cybird how about hiring me just to create interesting looking MC. I have so many ideas for MCs for each ikemen games! It's not that difficult to create MCs with different personalities! What do you say? How about I create some fun MCs for you!? You don't have to pay me!!
Now these are just my initial impressions and will likely change once I start playing the game! So there is no need to be offended!
Editing me: Rina's eyes are supposed to be pink. Can't they use a much brighter shade!? To make it visible? I had to zoom into her eyes to check if they were brown or pink.

Morganatic Idol first impressions from the prologue (just a bunch of incoherent thoughts)
• mc in prologue says this is her Cinderella story, and you know what, from Jace's route that I'm on so far, I can see it
• at this point we are all tired of the 1 month time limit set for IkeSeries [this is a +ONE game but they follow the formula] but here we go again (IkeVamp, IkePri, IkeVil, now Morganatic Idol)
• mc, my girl, LEAVE THE AEGIS COMPANY OH MY GOD 😭 (tldr they treat her like complete and utter crap)
• one does not simply steal a presentation idea and get away with it (bombastic side eye at MC's boss)
• also, what the hell is sakura on thinking mc will be able to balance both company work and housekeeping at the same time (Jace, we stan our makeup king, was the first one to point out how difficult that would be but nooo sakura didn't listen)
• my girl gonna die from overwork holy shit
• we don't meet Gem Cuddle until towards the end parts, they'd make a good setup for Act 2 because MC didn't even know they existed
• I need whatever MC has to even get any sort of energy at all because holy crap I would cry several times a day if I were her
Onto the characters
• Eito Sakura, is your head ok bdhshsh props for letting MC have a redo of her presentation but straight up invite her to work as a housekeeper and live in the same penthouse in less than an hour that you knew her? my guy, WHAT
• now to Gem Cuddle's Hitaki: oh he's sus alright, I wouldn't trust him at all, but if it were between him and Miu, I'd trust Hitaki more, smooth talker but very much up to no good (reminds me of Alfons in Ikemen Villains and yes they do share a seiyuu)
• Miu is actually reminding me of Gilbert von Obsidian and scares me more than Hitaki - Miu is very very suspicious and lowkey terrifying when he smiles because you know damn well he's plotting something (ily Gilbert but you are scawy)
• Nagi is the only seemingly sane one in Gem Cuddle with Hitaki and Miu are just going ふふふふふふ all over the place, the ONLY green flag in the entire game so far
• to exe Creed, I will constantly bring this up: WHAT THE HELL ARE YALL C A S U A L OUTFITS THOSE ARE NOT I T
• whoever said Xeno is just modern day Chev personality without the murder (and the bunch of dramatic medieval politcs), I might have to agree with you, and given how he's the poster boy, much of the prologue gives him quite a spotlight with MC noting a lot about him
• someone please give Ivy a break, he's giving me extreme IkeSen Hideyoshi vibes because he's pretty much the mom of exe Creed (his profile describes him as the older brother type, but no I'd say he's more of an actual mom because he has to constantly keep looking after the others in his group) and gives MC info here and there
• Jace is surprisingly bordering on polite in the prologue, albeit still flirty and one of the first to take notice and pay mind to MC aside from Sakura (just in case you forgot, Jace is the token womanizer and MC is quick to remember all of that in his route) but what the actual fuck is his casual outfit I'm still crying at it
• Finn's biggest impact on me was his casual outfit because why, just why, man, WHY, the whiplash I had seeing him in that because it reminds me of the guys I used to know who dressed godawful 😭😭😭, he's fast to back up Jace though with the "bruh wym let her live and work here as a housekeeper when she also works in a company" at Sakura
• Hugh is just eepy, that's it, he's so eepy in the prologue either Ivy or Finn nudge him awake, he's cute though
All in all, its a standard Ikemen Series style prologue, but if I am to be honest, Gem Cuddle is the actual group who I find bustling with more personality (despite two members being very two-faced) and dynamics from the prologue alone and not exe Creed. From a story standpoint, it all makes sense. MC sees exe Creed as robotic without emotions, it's difficult to see what exe Creed has in store through her eyes aside from the fact that they're hot idols that seemingly lack human emotion.

So, I've finally finished translating one of Ivy's ends and while I have his other end already recorded, I need some distance from him.
In a few days I can start with Hitaki's route, and currently I'm interested in him because 1) how he acted in Ivy's route and 2) to learn more of Gem Cuddle's side.
Also, I'm slowly contuining translating Ellis' route. My goal is to finish his translation before he drops in EN version. I've actually got a few more chapters ready than I posted but I just don't want to dish out like I did before. That's probably what tired me out so much.
Another thing, I made navigating through the chapters a bit easier by adding a 'next chapter' with a link at the end.
Please have patience with me.

Hitaki: "It was in the begining."
Hitaki: "Your project for Enzance was promising. I'm sure it would help them show more charm."
Hitaki: "However, it was a threat for a Gem. We could afford to fall behind exe anymore."
He turns his gaze to me, there was a smirk on his lips.
Hitaki: "That's why I wanted to steal you away. I tried to lure you with sweet nothings and make you fall in love with me."
Hitaki: "I wanted to use you for Gem's sake, not exe's"
Rina: "Huh..."
This words hurt me in same way, when I heard them for the first time in Taiwan.
Hitaki: "....there's small difference now. I want to explain properly."
Hitaki-san said that, while taking breath.
Hitaki: "Of course, I still want to separate you from exe.."
Hitaki: "But more than that, me myself have strong desire to get you"
Rina: "........................."
Hitaki: "When I realized that Kanagawa-san was keeping distance from me, I was confused and annoyed."
Hitaki: "What did I do wrong? What exactly I did wrong? Making you fall in love with me sounded easier."
I frowned at such honest words and Hitaki-san gave me a wry smile.
Hitaki: "I'm sorry if this's making you feel bad, but I don't see a point to hiding it anymore. I'll tell you a whole truth."
Rina: ".........okay"
Hitaki: "Miu and Nagi pointed out that I was angry, but I couldn't control myself."
Hitaki: "It was never hard to control my emotions before."
Hitaki: "There was time when I also considered keeping distace."
(..! I noticed that thing..)
I was suprised by unexpected words.
Hitaki: "But I couldn't do it. Do you remember moment when staff member tried to invite you for a diner?"
*flashback*
Hitaki: "That's true, that Kanagawa-san's amazing and wonderful woman. I can understand why you want to invite her, but.."
Hitaki: "She's very responsible person, so I doubt you will able to accomplish anything."
*flashback*
Hitaki-san looked away as I nodded, remebering event.
Hitaki: "I hated staff member for trying to woo you.. I had to intervene."
Hitaki: "Before I can understand I was already scared him away. I didn't want you to get closer to anyone but me."
Hitaki: "You're different from others, a special person. That's I realized."
Rina: "..........."
His passionate gaze made breath hitching at my throat. I tried to look away but couldn't.
Hitaki: "When you smiled at me, it made me happy. I wanted to see you smile more."
Hitaki: "I want to see you smile for me...."

Title: Love in the time of Sickness
Nagi x Reader
Note: Hello guys my second Morudoru Fan fiction story but this time this is Nagi from gem cuddle and i hope you like him would you take care of him when he is sick?!
Nagi stood backstage, surrounded by the vibrant energy of his fellow bandmates, Hitaki and Miu. They were moments away from stepping onto the stage for a highly anticipated concert, but Nagi’s mind was elsewhere. He felt a wave of nausea wash over him, a persistent headache pounding behind his eyes.
“Nagi, are you okay?” Miu asked, noticing the slight furrow in Nagi’s brow.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” Nagi replied with a forced smile, trying to brush off his discomfort. He didn’t want to worry his friends. After all, they had worked so hard for this moment.
The reader, a longtime fan who had gotten to know the band members personally, watched from the sidelines. They could tell something was off with Nagi. His usually bright eyes were dulled, and he seemed to be forcing himself to stand tall.
As the lights dimmed and the crowd’s cheers grew louder, the reader couldn’t shake their concern for Nagi. They approached Hitaki, who was checking the last-minute details with the stage crew.
“Hitaki, can I talk to you for a moment?” You asked quietly, trying not to draw attention.
Hitaki turned to the reader with a curious expression. “Sure, what’s on your mind?”
“It’s about Nagi,” You started carefully. “I think he’s not feeling well. He’s been acting a bit off backstage.”
Hitaki’s brows furrowed as he glanced over at Nagi, who was now trying to psych himself up for the performance. “I hadn’t noticed. But if you’re worried, maybe we should check on him.”
You nodded, feeling relieved that Hitaki was taking them seriously. “Do you think we could postpone the concert? Just for tonight. I don’t want Nagi to push himself too hard.”
Hitaki considered the suggestion for a moment, weighing the excitement of the audience against Nagi’s well-being. He knew Nagi could be stubborn when it came to showing weakness, especially in front of their fans. But Hitaki also trusted the Your judgment.
“Alright,” Hitaki finally said, making a decision. “Let’s do it. I’ll talk to the organizers and announce it to the crowd.”
With a nod of gratitude, You watched as Hitaki walked over to the stage crew, quickly explaining the situation. Meanwhile, Miu had noticed the serious discussion and came over to join them.
“What’s going on?” Miu asked, looking between Hitaki and You
“Nagi isn’t feeling well,” You explained softly. “Hitaki’s going to announce that we need to reschedule the concert.”
Miu’s eyes widened in concern. “Is he okay?”
Hitaki nodded. “I think he will be. Let’s just give him some time to rest.”
You felt a mix of emotions—relief that Nagi would get the rest he needed, but also worry about disappointing the fans who had been eagerly waiting for the concert.
After Hitaki made the announcement, explaining that Nagi needed to recover and promising to reschedule the concert soon, the crowd reacted with understanding applause. They were disappointed, of course, but they trusted the band’s decision.
Backstage, Nagi finally allowed himself to relax, supported by his bandmates and you . He realized how lucky he was to have friends who cared about him not just as a performer, but as a person.
“Thanks,” Nagi murmured, a weak smile on his face. “I didn’t want to admit it, but I really wasn’t feeling well.”
Hitaki clapped a hand on Nagi’s shoulder. “That’s what friends are for, Nagi. We’ve got your back, always.”
Miu grinned. “And besides, we’ll rock this concert twice as hard when we reschedule!”
Nagi chuckled weakly, feeling the weight of their support lift some of the burden from his shoulders. “Yeah, you guys are the best.”
As they walked off stage together, the reader couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride in their bond with the band. They knew that, in sickness and in health, they would always stand by each other’s side.
Nagi watched as Hitaki and Miu left to speak with the organizers and make arrangements for rescheduling the concert. Alone now with the reader, he couldn’t hide his discomfort any longer. Sweat trickled down his face, and a wave of dizziness swept over him.
You immediately rushed to his side, concern etched on their face. “Nagi, you don’t look good at all. Why didn’t you say something sooner?”
Nagi managed a weak laugh, though it was tinged with fatigue. “I didn’t want to worry anyone. You know how stubborn I can be.”
You gently brushed the hair away from his forehead, feeling the warmth of his fever. “You should have said something. You need to rest.”
Nagi’s expression turned serious as he looked into Your eyes. “Will you stay with me? Take care of me?”
Your heart skipped a beat. They knew Nagi cared deeply for them, but hearing him say it so openly still made their heart race. “Of course, Nagi. Always.”
Nagi chuckled softly, a hint of amusement in his tired eyes. “You know, I love you.”
You smiled warmly, their hand resting on Nagi’s cheek. “I know, Nagi. I love you too.”
Nagi’s laughter was interrupted by a sudden coughing fit, his voice coming out hoarse. “Would you take care of me, my wife?” he asked, his eyes searching the reader’s face with hope and love.
Your heart melted at Nagi’s words. They had been married for some time now, and Nagi’s playful reminder brought a rush of fond memories. “Of course, Nagi. Always and forever, my husband.”
Nagi’s smile widened, a mixture of relief and affection. “Thank you,” he murmured, his eyes drifting shut as exhaustion finally caught up with him.
You stayed by Nagi’s side throughout the night, keeping a cool cloth on his forehead and comforting him with soft words. Nagi slept fitfully, occasionally waking to whisper words of gratitude and love to the reader.
In the days that followed, Nagi recovered slowly with the reader’s loving care. The postponed concert was rescheduled successfully, and the band performed with even greater energy and enthusiasm, supported by their loyal fans.
As Nagi continued to regain his strength, You remained devoted, ensuring he had everything he needed and showering him with affection. They took walks together, cooked his favorite meals, and cherished quiet moments at home.
One evening, as they sat together on the couch, Nagi leaned his head on the reader’s shoulder. “Thank you for taking care of me, my love,” he said softly.
You smiled, running their fingers through Nagi’s hair. “You’re welcome, Nagi. I’ll always be here for you.”
Nagi lifted his head to look at them, his eyes filled with gratitude. “I’m lucky to have you,” he whispered.
You leaned in and kissed Nagi gently on the lips. “And I’m lucky to have you,” they replied, their love for him shining brightly.
Together, they knew that in sickness and in health, they would always be there for each other.
On the night of the rescheduled concert, Nagi stood backstage with renewed energy, ready to perform. The reader stood beside him, holding his hand tightly, their hearts filled with anticipation and love.
Hitaki and Miu exchanged smiles as they joined Nagi and the reader backstage. “Are you ready, Nagi?” Hitaki asked, his voice full of encouragement.
Nagi nodded, a grin spreading across his face. “Absolutely. Let’s do this.”
The lights dimmed, and the crowd erupted into cheers as the band stepped onto the stage. Nagi’s voice rang out strong and clear, his energy contagious as he sang and danced alongside his bandmates.
You watched from the wings, their heart swelling with pride and love for Nagi. They knew how hard he had worked for this moment, and seeing him shine on stage filled them with joy.
As the concert reached its peak, Nagi locked eyes with the reader in the audience, a silent promise of love and gratitude passing between them. The reader smiled back, their love for Nagi shining brighter than ever.
After the final song, the crowd cheered for an encore, and Nagi, Hitaki, and Miu returned to the stage, their energy undiminished. Together, they performed an electrifying encore, leaving the audience cheering and clapping for more.
Backstage, after the concert ended, Nagi embraced You tightly, their hearts overflowing with happiness and relief. “Thank you,” Nagi whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
Nagi smiled, pressing a tender kiss to the reader’s forehead. “I couldn’t have done it without you, my love.”
Together, they knew that no matter what challenges they faced, they would always be there for each other, in sickness and in health, supporting and loving each other with all their hearts.
Later that week, as Nagi continued to recover at home, he found himself thinking about the reader and how grateful he was to have them in his life. He wanted to show his appreciation and love in a special way, so he decided to enlist the help of his friends, Hitaki and Miu.
One afternoon, Nagi called Hitaki and Miu to a private meeting. “Guys, I need your help with something important,” Nagi began, his voice serious yet filled with determination.
Hitaki and Miu exchanged curious glances, sensing Nagi’s seriousness. “What is it, Nagi?” Hitaki asked, concern evident in his voice.
Nagi took a deep breath. “I want to give her a special gift to show how much they mean to me. They’ve been by my side through everything, especially when I was sick. I want to do something that will make them feel loved and appreciated.”
Miu smiled warmly. “That’s a wonderful idea, Nagi. What do you have in mind?”
Nagi hesitated for a moment before continuing. “I was thinking of something personal, maybe a piece of jewelry or an accessory that they can cherish.”
Hitaki nodded thoughtfully. “I think that’s a great idea. We can help you find something perfect for them.”
Over the next few days, Hitaki, Miu, and Nagi secretly planned their mission. They visited various jewelry shops and boutique stores, carefully considering each item they came across. They wanted something that would reflect Nagi’s love and appreciation for the reader.
One afternoon, they stumbled upon a small, quaint shop tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. Inside, they found a beautifully crafted necklace with a delicate pendant shaped like a heart, encrusted with sparkling gems.
“This is perfect,” Nagi murmured, his eyes lighting up with excitement. “It’s beautiful and meaningful.”
Hitaki and Miu nodded in agreement, sharing a knowing smile. “She will love it,” Miu assured Nagi.
With the necklace safely tucked away in a box, Nagi couldn’t wait to surprise the reader. He wanted to wait for the perfect moment, a quiet evening when they could be alone together.
One evening, after a delicious dinner prepared by you
Your eyes widened in surprise as they opened the box to reveal the stunning necklace. “Nagi, it’s beautiful,” they gasped, their fingers tracing the delicate heart pendant.
Nagi smiled nervously, his heart pounding with anticipation. “I wanted to thank you for everything, for taking care of me and loving me. You mean the world to me.”
Tears welled up in your eyes as they looked at Nagi with overwhelming love. “I love you too, Nagi. This means so much to me.”
They embraced each other tightly, feeling the warmth of their love surround them. Nagi knew that with the support of his friends and the unwavering love of You , he was truly blessed.
Night version!!
After Nagi presented the beautiful necklace to you their eyes widened in surprise and delight. They gasped softly, their fingers delicately tracing the sparkling gems and the intricate heart-shaped pendant.
“Nagi, it’s beautiful,” You whispered, their voice filled with awe and gratitude.
Nagi smiled warmly, relief flooding through him. “I’m glad you like it,” he murmured, reaching out to gently take the necklace from its box.
As he fastened the necklace around Your neck, their fingers brushed against each other, a tender moment of connection. Nagi’s heart swelled with love for the reader, grateful beyond words for their unwavering support and care.
“I wanted to thank you,” Nagi continued softly, his voice low with emotion. “For everything. For always being there for me, for taking care of me, for loving me.”
Your eyes shimmered with tears of joy. “Nagi,” they whispered, their voice catching with emotion. “I love you so much.”
Unable to hold back any longer, Nagi leaned in and kissed the reader gently on the lips. The kiss was soft and tender, a silent promise of love and devotion. You melted into the kiss, their heart fluttering with love for Nagi.
Feeling emboldened by their mutual affection, Nagi gently swept the reader into his arms, cradling them close to his chest. “Come with me,” he murmured, his voice husky with desire.
Carrying you
In the privacy of their bedroom, Nagi and You shared a night of intimate love and affection, their hearts and souls intertwining in a dance of passion and devotion. They cherished each other’s presence, knowing that their love was a bond that could weather any storm.
As they lay together, wrapped in each other’s arms, Nagi whispered softly to You , “I’m so lucky to have you. Thank you for loving me, for being my everything.”
You smiled lovingly, their fingers tracing patterns on Nagi’s chest. “I love you, Nagi. Always and forever.”
And in that moment, as they held each other close, Nagi and You knew that Your love was a force that could conquer any obstacle, in sickness and in health, now and forever.
Note: i hope you all enjoy him shower Nagi with love Love you guys so much

Nil Admirari No Tenbin -Teito Genwaku Kitan- (Common Route - Chapter 1)
Hiii! This is my first time sharing translations and they're probably not the best that one could do since my Japanese is very lacking. But I really love this game and noticed that no other translations had been posted in years. I'm just doing this so others can enjoy the game easier but if anyone has a problem with me sharing these or has suggestions, please let me know :D
I'm doing this in my free time and as of posting, I'm still working on chapter 3 of the common route. As such, it may be a while before you get another translation. Anyways I hope this is helpful and I'll be back with another translation hopefully soon. Please support the original game to bask in the glory of Satoi's amazing art (〃^▽^〃)
A few things before:
The green text is what I think to be the right choice to stay on a good ending.
I translated the dialogue after both selections and if the rest is the same dialogue, this symbol (❊) indicates the start of repeated dialogue.
I put Kuze as the protag's name for translation bc that's her given name. This would be different if you changed her name.
TW! This game contains elements that may be uncomfortable so please proceed with caution
~Chapter 1~ Midnight Visitor~
Kuze: (...Hitaki? I’m so glad, he’s fine)
When I tried to run to him, he ran away
Hitaki: “Why didn’t you say anything? You were hiding it”
Kuze: “Wait…no…”
Hitaki: “Sister doesn’t like me. That’s why… you’re so mean to me”
Kuze: “What are you talking about!? You’re wrong!”
Hitaki: “I hate you sister! I won’t believe you anymore!”
Kuze: “Hitaki!!”
-
Keizaburou: My lady! Are you alright!?
There was a familiar voice, and a large gentle hand. I blinked several times, while being supported by Gramps
Kuze: “...Gramps? Don’t tell me, I fell asleep? I had such an awful dream…”
Kuze: “Hitaki…”
I’m too afraid to say it, I bite my lip.
But- The first thing to reach my ears, were words of affirmation.
Keizaburou: “…Unfortunately, it’s not a dream.”
Kuze: “It’s not… a dream…?”
Keizaburou: “Please calm down, My lady. Hitaki was just taken to the Teito University Hospital
Kuze: “Eh…!”
Keizaburou: “Luckily, there are no life threatening injuries. Just burns…”
Kuze: “Lies!!”
Kuze: “You’re lying! That child… Hitaki, doing that kind of thing…!”
Keizaburou: “My deepest apologies. It’s not… a lie”
I felt like I was going to cry at any moment, my body stiffened when I heard that voice and expression
Keizaburou: “If it was a lie… How good that would’ve been”
Kuze: “Gramps”
Keizaburou: “I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry! I was there and yet… Young Master Hitaki…
Keizaburou: “I don’t know where to begin apologizing… If something could replace Hitaki-sama’s pain, then I’d like you to give it to me in place of him…”
Kuze: “That’s…”
My head is spinning. I still feel like I’m having a bad dream, I don’t even know what to think
Keizaburou: “Why… Hitaki-sama like that…
Keizaburou’s words made my eyes go dark
Kuze: “...Gramps”
Kuze: “Perhaps… it’s my fault?”
Keizaburou: “My lady?! That’s not true!”
Kuze: “But, he… he said he hated me…”
The corners of my eyes get hot and I can’t breathe properly.
Kuze: “I don’t want to think that either. But other than that, I can’t think of any other reason as to why he would try to commit suicide.
Keizaburou: “Th- That’s…”
Kuze: “My grades have always been excellent, and in my lessons… I was praised by the teachers…”
Kuze: “Or are you worried about something that we don’t know about?”
If so, I couldn’t wipe away the shamelessness from being noticed
Kuze: “I… What should I do?”
It was when tears were about to overflow and I closed my eyes tightly.
Maid: “My lady, I’m terribly sorry to disturb you at this hour, um… you have a guest.”
Keizaburou and I immediately look at the clock in the room
It’s already 1:00 AM. Not normal for a visitor to come at this time.
Keizaburou: “You fool! Don’t let guests through at this hour! My lady is very tired…”
Maid: “Th-that’s… They said they were sent by Nabari Yutaka…”
Kuze: “...Nabari Yutaka?”
Yutaka used to live in this house as a student
Kuze: (If I’m not mistaken, he must be working at a library or book facility…)
Keizaburou: “I don’t want to doubt you, but are you sure of their identity? It’s not the time to visit someone’s house.”
Maid: “It doesn't seem like it’s the police, but they said they wanted to talk about Hitaki-sama as soon as possible.”
Keizaburou and I look at each other in shock.
Kuze: “About Hitaki…? What kind of relationship do they have with Yutaka…?”
Keizaburou: “I have no idea…”
Maid: “What would you like me to do? It might be better for me to send them back after all…”
Keizaburou: “Ah, no. Let’s listen to what they have to say. For the time being, please show them to the reception room.”
Maid: “Understood.”
After the servant leaves, Gramps lets out a big sigh.
Keizaburou: “...Anyways, I should go listen to them”
Kuze: “Wait, I’m going too”
Keizaburou: “You shouldn’t, my lady must be tired.
Kuze: “It’s okay now. And now that there’s no Hitaki or Father, I should be the one to welcome guests”
Keizaburou: “Th-that’s true but…”
Kuze: “It has something to do with Hitaki, right?”
Kuze: “I’m alright. Let’s go.”
-
Then, when I went to the reception room with Gramps, what caught my eye was–
???: “Ah, I’m sorry we came at such a late hour.”
???: “...Hello”
The uniform was unfamiliar. It’s different from the police, but he has something like a cane on his waist
He looks a little older than me, but he looks like he’s still a student.
Keizaburou: “Ah, um? Who are you? I don’t think you’re from the police?”
Hayato: “Oh, my apologies for the delay. My name is Hayato Ozaki. I’m from the Imperial Library Information Asset.”
Akira: “...Of the same, I’m Akira Kougami.”
–
Kuze: “The Imperial… Library…?”
Kuze: “Oh, umm… I’m sorry, but what kind of job is that? What does it have to do with Hitaki…?”
Hayato: “Tsugumi-san, was it?”
Kuze: “!?”
Suddenly my name was called, and I reflexively backed away.
Even though the situation was serious, it was my first time that a man close to my age had called my name face-to-face, and I was filled with shame.
Kuze: “My name… why”
Hatato: “I asked Nabari-san”
Kuze: “Ah… ah, that’s right… I’m sorry”
Hayato: “It’s alright, you don’t have to be so nervous. We didn’t come to arrest you, nor did we come to harm you.”
Hayato: “I just have to explain a few things, so if you would give me your time.”
Hayato: “I know it’s disrespectful at a time like this, but every minute counts”
His expression and voice are both serious
Kuze: “What… is that…?”
Hayato: “I promise you that we are not suspicious people. Just in case, this is the national seal” *
*Seal picture* They both pulled out their notebooks from their pockets. A feather-like crest on navy blue leather
When I turned it over further, I found their names, the organization name, and what seems to be their addresses in detail.
Hayato: “However, I don’t think there are many people who have seen this sign itself, so the credibility is a bit lacking.”
Gramps and I look at each other again.
Kuze: (He says he’s an acquaintance of Yutaka and his identity seems to be certain, so it might be a good idea to ask him about it.)
Kuze: “...I understand. Please take a seat.”
Kuze: “Gramps, please bring a cup of tea for the guests.”
Keizaburou: “Of course, my lady.
Kuze: “That being said, I’m nervous…”
Even though I’m here on behalf of the head of the family, to be in the same place with two men who aren’t my family at a late night like this.
If an etiquette teacher at the all girls’ school found out, I would be severely punished.
I really wanted to talk about Hitaki, but I couldn’t say a word until the tea was served.
Hayato: “Um, are we that scary?”
Kuze: “Eh!?”
Hayato: “You been looked down as to not make eye contact for awhile now”
Kuze: “Oh no! I didn’t mean to do that…”
Akira: “Hey Hayato, if you just had an accident with your brother, you wouldn’t be able to talk brightly, would you?”
Hayato: “...Yeah, you’re right”
Hayato lowered his head
Hayato: “I’m sorry, I wasn’t thinking. I got a little too impatient”
Kuze: “No, it’s okay.”
Kuze: (That’s right, it’s not time to be nervous. I have to be firm.)
Kuze: “Um… Ozaki-san and Kougami-san, are you friends of Yutaka-san?”
This time, it was their turn to look at each other
Akira: “An acquaintance, he’s a colleague. I’m working in the same workplace.”
Hayato: “Hey Akira, I’m beginning to feel like Nabari-san didn’t explain anything about his work at all.”
Akira: “Don’t worry about it”
Kuze: “Is that Nabari-san’s job? Some time ago, I heard that he was doing book research at some facility.”
Hayato: “Ah, this is no good. We’ll have to start from the beginning”
Kuze: “?”
Hayato: “Um, in other words, we and Nabari-san are part of an organization that manages book with intense emotions called “cursed books”
Kuze: “...eh”
Akira: “Hey, you’re gonna start from there? Isn’t it more confusing?”
Hayato: “I hate going about it in a roundabout way.”
Hayato: “This is”
*Book picture* Hayato puts a slightly old book on the table
Hayato: “This is a little old… a handwritten Japanese bound book. Recently, they have decreased considerably.”
I couldn’t see the connection to Hitaki at all, and unintentionally frowned.
Hayato: “You won’t believe it right away, but books like this have an impact on the people who read them.”
Kuze: “...Eh?”
Hayato: “We think that your brother-”
Kuze: Wait!? Is there a book?”
I suddenly remembered that Hitaki was holding a book.
Akira: “This phenomenon seems to have existed for a long time, but there are not too many old ones left because they were burned out of fear.”
Akira: “To put it simply, it’s like, ‘the strong feelings and thoughts of the person who wrote the book remain in the book’.”
Hayato: “It doesn’t seem to happen at all in printed books, so I think it’s important that it’s handwritten.”
They don’t look like they’re making fun of me.
However, everything I hear is unbelievable, and I can’t keep up with my thoughts.
Akira: “Hey, look at her face.”
Akira: “Maybe we’re not very good at explaining things. I should have brought Tokimiya-san after all.”
Hayato: “It can’t be helped! Tokimiya-san and Hisui are elsewhere!”
After shouting, he shrugged his shoulders slightly.
Hayato: “Hmmm, you still don’t believe me”
Kuze: “Well, that’s not the case…”
Hayato: “In any case, very strong human emotions permeate the book and affect the person who reads it.”
Kuze: “That’s… I understand…. Maybe”
Hayato: “I will keep explaining.”
Hayato: “We are in charge of finding those things. Nabari-san is a little different, but he studies them”
Kuze: “...I didn’t know…”
Akira: “I don’t think he was trying to hide it”
Akira: “Until recently, it was a relatively unspectacular job, so I think you thought that even if I explained it, it wouldn’t make sense.”
Kuze: “Until recently?”
Hayato: “As I said earlier, the current mainstream is already letterpress printing”
Kuze: “...Yes, you’re right.”
I suddenly remember the inside of the bookstore earlier in the day
Certainly, all the books lined up must have already been printed.
Hayato: “Major publishers have basically moved to letterpress Western bound books, and even small publishers hardly support handwritten books.”
Hayato: “Therefore, if it is a book that is handwritten and bound in Japanese style, it is probably from the old days that have survived.”
Hayato: “If it’s new, it’s either brought into bookstores in the form of a private publication.
Hayato: “Of course, you can imagine that it won’t be published in such a large quantity, right?”
Kuze: “...The one and only book in this world…”
Hayato: “That’s right. ‘Cursed books’ is a phenomenon confirmed only in such rare books”
Hayato: “However, incidents that are thought to be caused by cursed books have happened one after another.”
Kuze: “...Is that so?”
Hayato: “Actually, just today… there have been two cases”
Kuze: “!?”
Hayato: “Your younger brother… and one other person…”
Hayato: “Son of the current Prime Minister, Shozo Ukai tried to commit suicide”
Kuze: “Eh!?”
I cried out unintentionally
Akira: “Huh? Do you know each other by any chance?”
Kuze: “No… it’s not”
Kuze: “However, this afternoon, when I was waiting for my car when I was out shopping…”
That evening, Hayato and Akira looked at each other when I talked about the journalist-like men who passed by.
Akira: “Ohh, that’s right. There’s no doubt about the time.”
Kuze: “No way…”
Akira: “Sudden suicide on the same day, and your younger brother and the Prime Minister’s son are relatively close in age.”
Akira: “I thought it might have something to do with it, so I decided to visit you late at night and I apologize for the inconvenience.”
Akira: “Also, if your younger brother’s book was a cursed book, there’s a possibility that there will be new victims if we don’t collect it quickly.”
Kuze: “...Is that so”
Hayato: “For the time being, I’ll end the explanation here. I would like to check if the real thing remains after that”
Hayato: “What do you think? Was there a book by your brother’s side?”
Kuze: “...One”
Flames blaze brightly in my mind. Definitely he…
Kuze: “It’s just as Ozaki-san said. He… he had a book.”
Hayato: “Is that true!?”
Akira: “...Just as we thought”
Kuze: “...Could you wait a minute”
Kuze: “Actually… I’m embarrassed, but at that time, I immediately lost consciousness.”
Hayato: “That’s to be expected.”
Kuze: “Calling the doctor and cleaning were all arranged by the steward.”
–ring, ding~–
Keizaburou: “My lady, how are you?”
I shook the bell on the table lightly and Gramps came right away.
Kuze: “I’m sorry for calling you suddenly.”
Kuze: ‘You see, Hitaki was holding a book at that time.
Keizaburou: “A book? Ohh, come to think of it…”
Hayato: “!”
Akira: “...”
The expression on their faces shows even more anticipation. I took a deep breath and asked timidly.
Kuze: “Where is it?”
Keizaburou: “For the time being, I’ve left it in Hitaki-sama’s room, but it’s just a little burnt.”
Hayato: “It’s okay, that’s fine!”
Kuze: “Can you bring it now?”
After Gramps left, there was a strange silence in the room.
The expression on their faces is full of hope.
Kuze: (...How can that happen in a book…?)
But honestly, my heart is beating a little easier
I don’t want to think that it was my fault Hitaki was cornered like that.
Hayato: “Um, so as a continuation of what I said earlier”
Kuze: “Yes?”
Hayato: “Is it possible that your younger brother and the son of Prime Minister Ukai are acquaintances?”
Kuze: “...Acquaintances?”
Hayato: “I heard that the Prime Minister’s son is currently attending Teito University.”
Hayato: “Also, look… I wonder if there is a lot of interaction between nobles and politicians.”
Kuze: “Ah, my father would probably know about Prime Minister Ukai, but I don’t remember hearing anything like that from my brother.”
Kuze: “Of course, I don’t know all of his friendships, but if it’s someone like that, I think he would tell the family.”
Hayato: “You’re right”
Akira: “Well, Hayato, it might be a bad coincidence. It’s just a bad coincidence.”
-knock-
Keizaburou: “Thank you for waiting, My lady. Here is the book.”
After a while, Gramps came back. But the moment I saw that book in his hand-
Kuze: “Ahhh-!?”
I immediately crouched down to escape from the flames.
*Glowing book picture* The book is on fire.
Hayato: “Hey!?”
Akira: “!?”
Keizaburou: “My lady!?”
Kuze: “Gramps! The book… The book is on fire! Are you okay!?”
Keizaburou: “...Huh?”
Kuze: “...Eh?”
Gramps holding the book doesn’t look in pain at all, and the other two are looking at me suspiciously.
Kuze: “Gramps? Because that book, it’s on fire…”
I rubbed my eyes again. Without a doubt, the book in his hand is engulfed in bright vermillion flames.
Kuze: “...It’s not burning?”
The expressions of the three of them fuel my anxiety even more.
Kuze: (Is it just… me? What happened to me…?)
The book in Keizaburou’s hand continues to burn silently
Keizaburou: “My lady? Umm…”
Keizaburou’s caring gaze pierced through
Kuze: “I-I’m sorry… I really…”
Kuze: “Gramps, isn’t it hot? Can’t you see the flames?”
Keizaburou: “No, no, umm… My lady, I’m not lying.”
Kuze: “...What a lie… I…”
It was when I bit my lip in reluctance
Akira: “...Huh”
Akira: “Kuze-san, maybe you’re the same as Nabari-san”
Hayato: “Eh!?”
Akira: “No, it’s a bit of a coincidence, but it doesn’t look like she’s lying.”
Kuze: “Wha… Nabari-san and I are… the same?”
Hayato: “I see, I get it!”
Kuze: “Ah, umm… that means…”
Akira: “The book is not on fire. Please take a good look.”
Hearing Kougami-san’s words, I cautiously stare at the book again.
Kuze: “...It’s shining?”
The expression may actually be slightly different
Light of the same color as the flames oozes out from the book, giving it the appearance of burning.
Hayato: “I’m surprised. There is such a thing”
Akira: “Is Nabari-san a relative?”
Still unable to understand the intention of their words, I answered
Kuze: “No, it’s not like that. Just because he lived here as a student.
Akira: “The fact that you’re so surprised now means that you couldn’t see it before, right?”
I shook my head repeatedly
Kuze: “Both my brother and I love books, and we read them almost every day.”
Kuze: “But… I couldn’t see anything like this at all.”
Akira: “It’s only natural that you couldn’t see it”
Akira: “In the first place, cursed books themselves are extremely rare, and ordinary books don’t have that kind of aura.”
Kuze: “...Aura?”
Akira: “Oh, I’m sorry, that’s what we call the light that Kuze sees.”
Akira: “And that light is the intensity of the emotions that dwell in the book.”
Akira: “Although we can’t see it at all.”
Kuze: “...Is that so?”
Akira: “The only person here who can see auras is Nabari-san.”
---Aura. I timidly glanced at the book again. Its flames are shaking.
Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to be a mistake
Kuze: “...I understand. But, why all of a sudden?”
Akira: “...”
Akira: “Trauma, probably…”
Kougami-san seemed to be at a loss for words, so he paused for a moment and looked at me.
Akira: “I wonder if it’s because of your brother’s incident.”
Kuze: “Eh!? Ah…that…?”
Akira: “Kuze-san, you were present at the scene of your brother’s incident, weren’t you?”
Kuze: “...Yes”
Akira: “If you had lost consciousness, I think you would have received a considerable mental shock. It is in such circumstances that one’s abilities may blossom.”
Kuze: “Uh, that kind of thing…”
Akira: “I have a colleague, he has a slightly different power than Kuze-san and Nabari-san.”
Akira: “He, too, was involved in an accident, and he said that from then on he was able to use his powers.”
It was just a book, and suddenly it was hard to believe.
But the book on the table certainly emits a mysterious light.
I take a sly look, even if they try to trick me, I can trust Gramps.
As far as I can see from Keizaburou’s reaction, I’m the only one who can see it.
Kuze: “...Huh? The… the other books in the house?”
Kuze: “...Um! Yes, I’m sorry! If it’s not too much trouble, could you come with me to the library!?”
Kuze: “I want to see if there are any other dangerous books like that there!”
Hayato: “Yes, of course.”
Hayato: “However, even if there are other books that appear to be on fire, do not open them all of a sudden.”
Kuze: “...Yes. I understand”
-
Hayato: “It seems like this is the only book that’s suspicious.”
Gramps, Ozaki-san, and I looked around the library, Hitaki’s room, and other places where we could find books
But I didn’t find any suspicious books.
Kuze: “Ah, I’m sorry… To think I’ve dragged you around for no reason…”
Hayato: “There’s no need to apologize, it was only right that we check. Besides, not all Japanese bound style books are cursed.”
Kuze: “That’s right…”
Hayato: “Thank you for your hard work and cooperation.”
Akira: “Hayato, this author… that’s an unfamiliar name, isn’t it? Is it a personal publication?”
Kougami-san said while looking at the book Hitaki was reading
Hayato: “I guess. But the book itself looks a little old, so it’s possible that it’s an author who didn’t sell well at the time. Let’s go back and look at the records a bit more.”
Akira: “Well either way, I’m glad no one else read it until now.”
Kuze: “...Oh, that’s”
I suddenly remembered how I was the one organizing the library
Kuze: “Actually, just recently, I started organizing the archives I mentioned earlier.”
Kuze: “...It’s my father’s bad habit”
“He likes books, so he buys whatever he can find, but we can’t seem to keep up with reading so we just put them in the library.”
Akira: “Ah, there are people who are satisfied just by buying things”
Kuze: “...Is that so”
Actually, there was another reason. I thought for a moment that there might be something in the archives and storehouses that could be exchanged for gold.
Kuze: “So, since it has increased quite a bit, I thought I’d organize it a bit…”
Kuze: “I kept the old ones in my room”
Kuze: “That… that kid…”
I regret it so much
Kuze: “If… I hadn’t carelessly left the book in my room…”
Hitaki would have escaped such a fate
Hayato: “...I see. I got the gist of it. As I explained earlier, handwritten Japanese-bound books are rare these days.”
Hayato: “From a personal collection… This isn’t the first time that a cursed book has been found in a place that the person has already forgotten about.”
Hayato: “So it’s wrong for you to blame yourself.”
Kuze: “...eh”
With a straight gaze, my body stiffened.
I feel relieved and at the same time sorry for making everyone worry
Kuze: “Thank you”
Hayato: “You’re welcome”
He smiled, and this time, embarrassment welled up.
My emotions are changing so fast, I can’t help but feel restless
Kuze: “Even so… It’s scary that you can do such a thing just by reading a book…”
Hayato: “That’s right. That’s why we’re desperately looking for suspicious books”
Hayato: “...”
Akira: “Hayato?”
Hayato: “...Kuze-san”
Kuze: “...Ozaki-san? Um, wha…”
After thinking for a while, Ozaki-san stares at me with a stern look
Hayato: “Um”
Kuze: “Yes?”
Hayato: “I apologize for the sudden request, but Kuze-san, would you like to become a member of Fukuro?
Kuze: “Eh!?”
Akira: “Hey!?”
Hayato: “Ah, Fukuro is something like a nickname we made for the Imperial Book Information Asset Management”
Hayato: “As I told you at the beginning, I’m still a national civil servant, and we have an apartment style dormitory in Sendagi”
Hayato: “The uniform is provided, and I think the salary is reasonable.”
Kuze: “Wait a minute, um…!?”
Hayato: “I want you.”
Kuze: “What!?”
Those sudden words made my fingertips heat up in an instant.
Kuze: “Wh-what are you saying…”
Hayato: “Ah! That’s not what I meant! It’s my fault!! What I want is your power!!”
Kuze “...Uh…”
Akira: “I’m very sorry, my colleague is too straightforward. In other words, we would like for Kuze-san to lend us the power to see that aura.”
Hayato: “Yes, that’s right! That power is really useful!”
Hayato: “Because books don’t move, talk or assert themselves, our job is to basically gather information and search for places where books can be found.”
Hayato: “But for us and the people at the bookstores, we at least can’t judge just based on appearances.”
Hayato: “Therefore, when a new handwritten Japanese bound book enters a bookstore, it is supposed to be brought back and checked by Nabari-san… Basically”
Hayato: “However, not all stores and people are cooperative, and there may be things that are hidden.”
Hayato: “Luckily, or rather unfortunately… If someone is affected, it’s possible for them to come to pick it up like tonight.”
Hayato: “That’s after the ‘victim’ has already appeared”
Kuze: “...”
Hayato: “There is a possibility that such a dangerous book is still buried somewhere”
Hayato: “But with that power, you can tell.”
Kuze: “Yes, that may be true…”
Akira: “I wonder, Kuze-san, did you know that Nabari-san has a weak heart?”
Kuze: “Eh? Yes… That’s what I’ve heard”
Akira: “So he can’t walk outside, go on long walks, or run.”
Hayato: “...I don’t think it’s hard work, but I should add that it’s basically a job where you’re outside all day…”
Kuze: “All day long…”
Hayato: “That’s why if Kuze-san joins Fukuro, I think the chances of finding cursed books will increase.”
Hayato: “It might be painful because of your brother’s incident. But if you join us as soon as possible, the number of victims might be reduced accordingly.”
Hayato: “Besides, it’s nice that you seem to like books. I wish I had love for books”
Kuze: “...”
Hayato: “What do you think? Would you like to join Fukuro?”
Kuze: “Oh, that…”
I knew too well that they weren’t making fun of me.
I also realize that this strange power might be useful.
But…
→ I think it is impossible
Kuze: Hm… I don’t think it’s possible, to be honest…”
When I came to my senses, I answered yes.
❊ (Repeated dialogue)
→ Give me time to think
After some thought, I replied
Kuze: “...I’m very sorry. Could you give me some time to think?”
❊ Hayato: “Kuze-san…”
Kuze: “It’s not that I don’t want to cooperate…”
Kuze: “I can see that you both are serious about your work.”
Kuze: “But… To be honest, I’m still confused about my brother…”
Hayato: “Well… That’s to be expected. I’m sorry…”
Hayato: “It’s not like I’m asking you to come now, or I’ll ask you to start tomorrow. I just thought that the sooner the better.”
Kuze: “...I understand. I will consider it.”
Hayato: “Thank you very much! Since we’re here, we will take care of the book from now on.”
Ozaki-san puts away the book
Hayato: “Thank you very much for your cooperation today.”
Akira: “Thank you very much for your cooperation today.”
The two deeply bowed their heads and left the reception room.
-
Kuze: “...Haaaa”
Looking at the clock with a sigh, the hands are already at 3:00 AM. Some people call it night, and some people call it morning. It’s that kind of time.
I sat at my desk and stared blankly out the window, reflecting on a day that was too surreal.
Fighting with Hitaki about my marriage.
Hitaki suddenly trying to commit suicide.
Furthermore, the cause seems to be a suspicious book.
And that- I was invited to the job of searching for those suspicious books…
Kuze: “Hitaki…”
If it’s true, I want to rush to the hospital right now to talk to him. However, they said that until his condition is stabilized, he would not be allowed to have visitors.
Kuze: “Such a strange power…”
Flashback Hayato: “It might be painful because of your brother’s incident. But if you join us as soon as possible, the number of victims might be reduced accordingly.”
I cast my eyes on the bookshelves in my room
I have several books bound in Japanese style, but none of them show a strange aura.
Kuze: “I don’t want anything to do with that…”
I could see their enthusiasm. I would also like to cooperate if possible.
But
-
If I close my eyes, the flames enveloping Hitaki emerge so vividly
Kuze: “...I don’t want to see it”
-
I fell hard onto the bed
-
(That's the end of chapter 1 of the common route!)

Simple idea I was marinating on watering Chrysanthemum at work all day. But potentially interesting. Middle shot is Art NUE again. Wanted to show the scale of these tapestries, floor to ceiling. So freaking crazy to exist especially with the weird echo in the canon story. So...what if that wasn't such a fine line? Just combining two ideas we know from canon:
We do have the idea Zoro is a descendant of Ryuma. This is something we've used in the story and Kiku is sorta the other callback to Oda's pre-One Piece work so a shared theme makes sense.
Kikuhime is the Daimyo's daughter of Yo, a fictional (er...moreso) region of Wano. Or is it? If there was a different Wano before the walls, was Yo a historical region that no longer exists?
The outfits in Art NUE already look like an earlier period in Japanese history. Obviously the Straw Hats intruding is where this gets fuzzy, but could Kikuhime be something like Shiki or Uta where the actual character is canon? Is Kikuhime a weird doppelganger, or our girl's actual ancestor? Recall the only details we've gotten either way say the Hanayanagi school was one of prestige.
I thought it was a cool idea on its own, but given the whole Toki element...what if she knew Kikuhime, Lark, & Hitaki? What if they were both a story and real people who had a totally different story? This opens up a whole new axis in the Expanded Kiku Canon...was Kikuhime trans as well?

common route, part 1: prologue (4/7)
Tsugumi Kuze “…Ahh, the weather is wonderful today.”
I sat on a bench in the park and looked at the sky. Apparently Ugetsudo’s eclairs wouldn’t go on sale for almost another hour. I decided to spend time until then here, reading a book.
Tsugumi Kuze “But I think these books of Mr. Shizuru Migiwa’s are… actually a bit too mature for Hitaki to be reading.”
I flipped through said book that I had just bought at the bookstore.
Tsugumi Kuze “I read two of them based on his recommendation, but there really were so many sensual moments…” “And both of the books ended with… the people dying.” “Isn’t it painful to read stories where people fall in love with each other only for it to end in their deaths?”
Because our father was an avid reader, both Hitaki and I had been surrounded by books from a young age. The library in our house was also full of books.
Tsugumi Kuze “I think Ms. Shinobu Ashiya’s ‘Flower Writings’ is, without question, the more interesting work.”
I returned Shizuru Migiwa’s book to my bag and opened ‘Young Ladies’ World.” Every girl in school read “Flower Writings,” which was serialized though on an irregular schedule in this magazine—such as statement would not be an exaggeration. I had been completely enthralled by the beautiful stories centered around various flowers and so continued to read it even after graduating.
Tsugumi Kuze (I wonder what kind of story it’ll be this time…)
I started to read, heart filled with an emotion much like nervousness, and found myself gasping at a certain sentence. ‘I’ve just heard. Miss Kaoruko is to be married.’ ‘Is that so? And who shall be her groom?’
Tsugumi Kuze “Oh…”
It was an inconsequential conversation in a story. But today, those words were terribly bitter. ‘…I hate you, Big Sister!’
Tsugumi Kuze “Hitaki…”
While I had told him that I hadn’t intentionally been hiding it from him, it was true that I hadn’t known how to tell him.
Tsugumi Kuze “So… marriage…”
It wasn’t just me. Like I had told Grandbuttle, a number of my classmates had married the men their parents had chosen. But the reason my heart was still heavy despite that was, of course, because it felt like I was being sold for money. But—I had to accept it. Because doing so would save my family.
Tsugumi Kuze “I’m sorry, Hitaki…”
I gave a soft apology to the little brother who wasn’t here with me. He was definitely sulking in his room right now. But I was sure that he would understand once I talked with him. —I was positive.

thank you so much for all the work you do on this blog! you're one of my main sources for psycho pass content. that being said, i still NEED MORE. Do you have any other psycho pass blogs you'd recommend?
You’re so very welcome! Thank you for the support and sweet message. As far as bloggers I know who are still very much active within the fandom in terms of news and such, I’d recommend @whatsyourcolor and @cleverwolfpoetry. Unfortunately, we lost quite a few bloggers during that long gap between installments who regularly posted news and miscellaneous series information. @nobuchiken is still fairly active to my knowledge, and @psycho-pass-lists was a great contributor throughout our small but awesome Psycho-Pass Week. @jane-sonne‘s still going, too. As for less active (at least recently) blogs, there’s always @shinkanedoodles for all of your ship-based needs, @shinkanefanatic, and @ginaka-pass. General art blogs like @hitaki-tempo and @silenthill007 may or may not still be updating as regularly, but there’s still a lot of good content there and it looks like the latter’s still going strong. There are quite a few new blogs that appear regularly in the tags too, so always keep an eye out and see what all someone offers.
Of course, I try to reblog anything new that comes up, so you could always go through my blog and see who all I’ve reblogged from.
Update: @akane-mori has a ton of content, and it looks like @brilliantakane might be posting about the series again, too!
Honestly, I’d love to just recommend everyone, and I hope there are no hard feelings if I’ve missed anyone. This is a great fandom and it’s really just a matter of finding blogs within it that fit your taste.
I’m still always seeking out artwork and such to post here, too. I have several permission requests still pending, so we’ll see what those artists say. =)

An Assistant's Capriccio Story Event - Hitaki - Chapter 3 - Premium End
Disclaimer: Morganatic Idol belongs to CYBIRD & ABC Frontier, Inc.
My Notes: Translation is for entertainment purpose only. Translation may or may not be correct. Please ignore any grammar mistakes.
After leaving the studio, Hitaki-san quickly changed his clothes and got into the car that had been prepared for us.
(I spoke to a staff member on my way out, but nothing unusual happened……)
(So, did I mishear that mutter?)
As I was feeling a little uneasy, Hitaki-san muttered, "Oh, that's right."
Hitaki: I need to let Sakura-san know that the filming is over. Can I ask you to do that?
Rina: Ah, I see. I understand.
I quickly changed my mind and took my smartphone out of my bag, just in time to receive an SNS notification.
(Ah……, I did follow the audition program social media for this job.)
After sending Sakura-san an e-mail, I opened the social media page.
The page was filled with posts from candidates reporting that they had just finished filming.
Rina: Hitaki-san, everyone is posting about the filming. There are also lots of photos of you all together.
Rina: It's also spreading like wildfire…… With so much public attention, it's definitely worth the PR efforts.
Hitaki: Wow, let me see it too.
Hitaki-san leaned in closer as if to peer at my smartphone.
(Wah……)
The closeness of our position made my shoulders tense up, but Hitaki-san seemed to sense it as he chuckled.
Hitaki: Fufu, you don't have to be so conscious of it.
Rina: Even if you say so……
Hitaki: Don't worry about it, just turn your phone towards me. I can't see it.
The phone was held in my hand, and our fingertips touched each other.
I could even feel his soft body heat and his breath, and I reacted with a twitch.
(It's impossible not to be conscious……!)
Hitaki: Ah, it's true. Everyone looks so happy in the photos.
Hitaki: There seemed to be a lot of serious girls, and if they were that passionate about it, they would probably be popular right after their debut.
Hitaki: Today was a good inspiration for me too.
(If they were that passionate ……)
When I looked at Hitaki-san's profile as he said that, he was smiling and staring at the screen.
However, his expression seemed colder than it was during the filming.
(Hitaki-san was speaking to the girls seriously. Then, what was he muttered on the way home……?)
I made up my mind and opened my mouth.
Rina: Um……, why did you mutter that when we were leaving the studio?
Hitaki: That?
Rina: ……You said “How can they all be so passionate about it?”.
Hitaki-san gave a wry smile but answered simply.
Hitaki: Oh, I might have mentioned that. I didn't mean it literally.
Hitaki: You could say I relaxed after the filming finished……, but the producer said he wanted to have a passionate chat at the end, right?
Hitaki: When I heard those words, my true feelings just slipped out.
(Eh……?)
Hitaki: But don't get me wrong. I'm not bashing the girls.
Hitaki: I can understand the principles of their behavior, but I can't empathize with them. That's what I mean.
His smile was the same as usual, but right now it looked a little crooked.
Rina: But…… Hitaki-san, when you were aiming to become an idol, didn’t you have that kind of passion too?
Hitaki: ……I don't know about that. I've already forgotten.
He dodged it so easily that I felt I couldn't pursue it any further.
(If I get to know Hitaki-san better, will there come a day when I will understand him?)
Feeling frustrated, I continued, "But."
Rina: Hitaki-san's words to the girls were not lies.
Rina: Wanting to be more serious and aim higher…… I can feel that enthusiasm.
Hitaki: Eh……?
Rina: Hitaki-san, you practice a lot on a regular basis and take your work seriously, don't you?
Rina: And yet, I can't believe there's no passion there.
Hitaki: ……
Hitaki-san was silent for a while, then he burst out laughing.
Hitaki: I never thought you'd say something like that.
Hitaki: But I think I understand why Sakura-san has his eyes on you.
At the same time as he muttered that, the hands that had been lightly touching each other now went around my waist.
Rina: Kyaa……
Hitaki: Don't be so nervous. I want to know more about you.
Hitaki: Would you become my personal assistant from now on as well, not just for today?
Staring at me at such a close distance, my heart beat faster again. His expression was the same as always, shining like a prince.
Although I was dazzled by Hitaki-san's overwhelming sex appeal, I managed to keep his distance somehow.
Rina: That…… would be difficult.
Hitaki: Really? Working with you seems like it would be fun, and if it turns out we get along well, they might say yes.
Hitaki: That's right, let's make a memento of this. So that people can see how close we are.
Hitaki-san said as he took out his smartphone.
Rina: Eh? What are you……
Hitaki: I just wanted to get a photo with you.
Rina: ! That, that’s a little……
I tried to get away in a panic, but the shutter was clicked as he held me close.
Hitaki: I got a good shot. Come on, lean in closer……
Rina: Ah……
He whispered sweetly in my ear and I almost lost my strength.
Hitaki: Fufu, you’re so cute. I have to take a good photo of that face too.
Hitaki: I can't post it on social media, but I think I took some good photos.
The expression on his face as he said that and smiled was gentle and sweet, but there was also a hint of wickedness mixed in.
(He's a kind and gentlemanly man, but there's more to him than that……)
His smart yet seductive sweetness made me fall for his charms to no end.
Just as I let out an involuntary sigh, the car slowly came to a halt.
(Huh? It's still too early to arrive……)
Hitaki: Looks like we've arrived. Actually, I was heading to the restaurant to say thank you for the gift today.
Hitaki: Since I'm here, I thought I'd just have a meal. If you don't mind, would you like to join me?
(Eh!? At that high-class restaurant?)
---
The surprise was fleeting, and I was soon swept into the restaurant.
---
Rina: Are you sure I really can join you? What about the dress code……?
Hitaki: Don't worry. I've reserved a VIP table tonight.
Rina: Eh!?
Even though it was clearly a high-end restaurant, I was amazed at how Hitaki-san was able to easily find a seat for us.
Hitaki: Don't be so formal. Just enjoy your dinner with me tonight, won't you?
His smart gestures made me realize that it was pointless to resist any further.
Rina: ……I understand. Thank you for inviting me.
When I timidly took the hand that was offered to me, Hitaki-san gave me a captivating smile.

Rina: I understand… please hire me!
Sakura-san responded to the members of exe Creed, who wore sullen expressions on their faces.
Sakura: I’ll properly teach her about the work at the office.
Sakura: The housekeeping part of her duties shouldn’t be too big of a concern.
Sakura: I mentioned earlier that she’s very sincere in her work, right?
Sakura: With her level of understanding of each member’s tastes, I think she’ll definitely do a perfect job.
Rina: I’ll do my best!
The members of Gem Cuddle who were listening from the sidelines joined in the discussion.
Nagi: We’re just adding on one more housekeeper. I don’t have any problems with that.
Hitaki: I’m very interested in your observation skills that can even see through exe Creed’s weakness. You can approach me if you have anything.
Miu: Oh~kay~, I approve too. Good luck!
Miu: … With this girl around, things will get much more convenient.
(There’s something chilling about this person’s smile. … Or am I just overthinking?)
Ivy: *sigh*... I guess there’s no other way. Sorry, it’s impossible to talk Eito out of something once he’s set his mind on it. Feel free to let me know if you run into any troubles.
Ivy-san sighed with a wry smile.
Finn: Are you serious… you’re such a busybody. There’s nothing else I can do since it’s already come to this, but just make sure you’re not a hindrance to me.
Finn-san said in an exasperated tone.
Jace: The presentation aside, I’m very welcome to girls. Let’s get along well, Aegis-chan.
Jace-san was smiling, but he had a flippant attitude.
Hugh: … I’m not good at talking to people… ignore me…
Hugh-san said in a low voice with his head down. Also…
Xeno: … Whatever. Do as you wish.
Xeno-san spat out.
(Being unwelcomed is unavoidable, but I feel like I’m already losing heart even before starting work here…)
Xeno-san continued while keeping his eyes fixed onto me.
Xeno: However, the moment it’s decided that she’s not doing a good job, have her resign immediately. … Got it?
His voice and gaze were cold enough to make a person shiver. I clenched my fists tightly, not wanting to chicken out.
Rina: I’ll definitely make sure that my work and housekeeping will meet everyone’s standards!
(Besides, I have to successfully talk them into accepting my project plan. This whole thing concerns my dreams....!)
Sakura: Then it’s settled! I look forward to working with you starting tomorrow.
Rina: Got it!
(I’ll be juggling work as an office assistant and housekeeper, and there’s also my job at the company. I need to pull myself together and give it my all.)
Rina: By the way, I was told earlier that I can take it easy on weekdays, but… will it be alright if I only come over after work at the advertising company?
That didn’t seem to make my situation any easier, but just as I was thinking about it… Sakura-san said something that sounded outrageous.
Sakura: Oh, that won’t be a problem. We’ll be living together.
Rina: … What did you just say?
Sakura: I’m letting you live here in this condominium.
Sakura: After all, it’ll only be for a month. I’ll prepare the furniture and luggage, so all you’ll have to bring is yourself.
Rina: EEEEEEH!?
(You’re saying that I’m going to live with these people!?)
Sakura: That way, you’ll have more interactions with them. I think it’s better like that.
Rina: W-wha…!
I looked at everyone else to see them staring at Sakura-san in utter disbelief.
(This person is awfully eccentric.)
Sakura: You can resign if you don’t like it.
Rina: N-no. Since I’ve already accepted the job, I’ll do it! I’ll definitely succeed!
Sakura: Mm, that’s the spirit.
Sakura: I have good expectations of you. Actually, I’m excited to see how you’ll do.
…
That was how I ended up living under the same roof as super idols.
(I’m so anxious, but this is all I can do…!)
The idols were brimming with charm and personality, and yet they lacked human touch.
I wonder what the days I spend with them starting from now will be like?
What kind of changes will happen to these cold and robotic idols…?
… Right now, no one knows the answer yet.

Title: Nil Admirari no Tenbin Teito Genwaku Kitan Company: Otomate Release Date: April 21, 2016 Platform: PS Vita Walkthrough
The Gist
After seeing her brother burn himself because of a book, Tsugumi starts seeing ‘aura’ or the glow of a cursed book. She, then, joins a group of people called Fukurou who search for these books hoping to avoid any more victims like her brother.
The Gameplay
Like with most recent games, you can change the name of the main character or leave it as it is.
Once you’ve finished the common route, you’ll choose whose route you’re going to play. At first, I was bummed out. I prefer getting to a route depending on the choices I made as I play.
As you go through the route, some choices lead to happy or bad ends. You can check if you are heading to your chosen end once the libra appears. The left is the good end and the one on the right is for the bad end.
Within the route, you can check your progress on the story. You can also choose which chapter you would like to see. Other things to check out here are if the chapter will give you a CG event or choices, or which end you are going to end up with. It is a nifty system to have, I must say.
The Story
The whole thing about searching for cursed books is pretty intriguing. It poses an interesting question – is it the fault of the author for writing such suicide-inducing books or not? In Nil Admirari’s clunky way of storytelling, it shows that it depends on the intent of the writer. Some write because they are cornered, some have no idea that they have a capacity to produce something like that, and some are plain twisted in their own way.
But the game fails to deliver that.
That’s the thing, the story has lots of inconsistencies.
I thought it would be like in Collar x Malice where it made me think what is really right and wrong. What happens is that one route this character would be the bad guy, in the next route he’ll be the victim and so on. At the end of the game, it made me wonder who is the bad guy.
Clunky way of storytelling
I mean the pacing. The shift from the main plot to the character’s own issues is forgivable since I love the characters. Still, there are scenes where I scratch my head in confusion. Smut coming out of the blue, revelations from the left field – you get the idea.
One of the biggest offenders is Shizuru’s route. I thought the problems are solved and I’m off to the epilogue when the game dropped a twist. I loved twists. But what I didn’t like about this twist is how it disrupts the entire flow of the game.
Misogyny
When I started this game, I wanted to root for Tsugumi and her dreams of living life on her own terms by joining Fukurou. I thought things are looking good because another female character named Shiori leads the team. Then her best friend also got a job as a reporter. The game pretty much establishes a time period where people start accepting women in the workforce.
Uh, no.
Then these people start saying “No you can’t do this or that because you are a girl.” This includes her workmates.
Seriously? (╬ Ò ‸ Ó)
This is sad. 😦
I get it if people outside Fukurou will say that. But for Tsugumi’s workmates, it’s just absurd. For one, their leader and the person everyone respects is a woman. Shiori holds a gun. So why can’t Tsugumi go train herself as well? Why do the other characters insult Tsugumi for being a woman when they don’t say anything like that to Shiori? It’s just frustrating to see her being treated like that when Tsugumi works so hard.
The story could have been good. But at least, the characters make this game not too bad. For the order, I recommend the one I did – Shizuru -> Hisui -> Shougo -> Akira -> Rui -> Hayato -> Secret Character.
Characters
Kuze Tsugumi
With her kind of upbringing, Tsugumi surprised me in ways I didn’t expect.
She is Miss-Goody-Two-Shoes and an innocent girl in the ways of the real world. But she decides to work. Not for her family or anybody else but for herself. Well, part of her decision is probably to get out of her family. Still, it doesn’t change the fact that she wants to do things her way. And that’s praise-worthy.
I expected Tsugumi to be a sensitive damsel-in-distress. But she proved me wrong. She likes doing menial things, like household chores. She strives to do better at her work. Heck, she even wanted to be a decent fighter to be able to stand alongside her workmates. Too bad, she is born in an era where people are extremely judgmental of women.
As much as I want Tsugumi to be on my list of favorite heroines, she falls short on the list. For one, I got used almost immediately with her reactions. It’s easy to guess how she would react because there’s a pattern. One character says something that surprises her and her initial reaction is “!!” or “??” or “…?”. What the heck is that థ౪థ. Is the writer lazy to give her a proper reaction? I’m pretty sure normal people have something they blurt out when surprised.
Another thing is that Tsugumi rarely holds an opinion of her own. More often than not, she describes things as they happen, not how she views things. I guess giving the heroine a “general” personality makes it easier to “insert” yourself in her shoes? But I don’t play visual novels to be “in” character. I play so that I can immerse myself in the story and its characters. Too bad the writer didn’t achieve that here. As I’ve mentioned here, there’s got to be more from her than her surface-level reactions.
Tsugumi’s ready anytime, anywhere ◦°˚\(*❛‿❛)/˚°◦
So early on, we know that Tsugumi is prim and proper. Like how she is scandalized watching a movie with a guy, blushes when he holds her hands or hesitates just going on a date since it is her first time. The surprising thing is, she never hesitates during sex. That never fails to give me a good laugh. She doesn’t even ask the most cliche first-timer questions. She just goes all the way on her first time, no apprehensions at all.
I’ve mentioned in this post how the couple does it anywhere – even in the apartment’s public spaces. I’m legit scared that someone might catch them doing it. Tsugumi, though, with all her good girl upbringing, has never questioned it at all. In one route, she worries what her teacher would say if she’s caught watching a movie with a guy. I wonder what would her teacher say if she knew her student does it anywhere.
Migiwa Shizuru
Migiwa Shizuru is the novelist of erotic and tragic love stories. He lives in the shared house with the Fukurou members. Tsugumi met him when he tried to sell her a goldfish while also trying to hit on her.
I wanted to like this route because the smut is A+. It reminds me of the smutty manga I’ve read on my teens. But I didn’t feel the romance between them. I couldn’t even tell when Shizuru falls in love with Tsugumi. He likes her, yes. He likes her body, for he tries to seduce her a lot of times.
My neutral mood for this route starts when Shizuru treats Tsugumi like a whore who beds anyone who has a dong after seeing her walking in the park with another guy. When does walking become synonymous with banging? I was insulted for Tsugumi. She gives her best even her sleep just to help Shizuru and that’s what she gets? Seriously? Thank goodness I used a guide or else the choices that I want to choose will definitely land me a bad end www. All I wanted was for Tsugumi to slap him and never talk to him until he realizes his mistake. She did slap him. But she also wanted to apologizes afterward. Girl you don’t. You just don’t.
After that, I can’t unsee how Shizuru appeals to the good girl nature of Tsugumi to make her submit. Like that one time when he makes her a “proper” adult. Tsugumi spends the entire route doing everything to become mature for Shizuru. When it’s banging time, he asks her a choice which would make sex consensual. But did she really want it? Or she just wanted to prove herself as an adult?
Hoshikawa Hisui
Hoshikawa Hisui is the youngest member of Fukurou. Like Tsugumi, he also has the power to see the cursed books. He looks like a doll, on top of his pretty looks.
Hisui surprised me in his route. He looks so open in the common route. But he’s rather rigid on some things – which totally makes sense once you get to the bottom of things.
What’s surprised me even more though is this:
[This is my first time but I know everything about it] {rough translation}
[I’m pretty sure I’ll be good at it]
Mind you, Hisui makes it a point how he hates women and not interested in those things. But he knew those things??
Also, I feel like the main moment for climax got turned down to throw in smexy times. I’m disappointed when Tsugumi chooses to ~fiercely~ kiss Hisui in the middle of his monologue. It felt like a great moment to reassure Hisui and build his self-confidence. Instead, she dived right in for sex. What’s with them acting like sexually deprived teens turning into humping in the middle of a serious discussion?
Ukai Shougo
The son of the prime minister who tried to kill himself the same day Hitaki did.
I’m no good with tsundere characters and Shougo is a massive one. He is constantly irritated towards Tsugumi. I get offended for Tsugumi because he keeps on pushing the blame on her when it wasn’t her fault. And it pains me to see her not stand up for herself (the way she does for Shizuru in Shizuru’s route). He just keeps on getting angry on various things. And tells that it is Tsugumi’s fault when it isn’t.
It was difficult to like Shougo. Though once he got over his tsun side, he is pretty cute. It’s fun to tease him and see him blush even while saying a simple “I’ll be going.”
Kogami Akira
Kogami Akira appears cold and distant. He has a couple of mysteries around him like how he doesn’t like people seeing him naked in the bath.
I was spoiled about the major landmine in this route that I’m dreading to do Akira’s side of the story. Even after finishing the route, I’ve tried so hard to think of even one good thing that I found here. But all I could think of is how this is a big disappointment to me. Akira’s route makes all the previous route I played far greater than his.
First off, this route has a clunky pacing and Akira’s route is another offender. One moment, it is building the romance. A few minutes after it is dropping a twist. It is confusing as it breaks the momentum one scene establishes. So even if I know, that he should already be falling for her, the romance is just not there.
Akira has his moments. He can be cute if he wanted to. But then these moments are rare and all over the place. And no, it’s not even in the smutty scenes. He has the worst scene out of the first four.
Shiginuma Takashi is a lot worse on this route too. In the previous routes, he appears as a good host with ulterior motives. But here, Tsugumi gets to know him up close and personal.
Sagisawa Rui
Sagisawa Rui is a medical student who accidentally bumps into Tsugumi every single time.
I know I’ve been waiting for this route. But seeing Hayato watching Tsugumi being taken by Rui is painful. I’m tired of seeing him watching on the sidelines.
What I did, once I get to the point where I’m halfway through Rui’s route, I skipped until the end to unlock Hayato’s route. I swore I’ll come back once I’ve finished Hayato’s. But then this news happened… and I’ll explain later. 8D
Ozaki Hayato
Ozaki Hayato is the first one to invite Tsugumi to join Fukurou after her brother’s incident. Hayato has an obvious crush to Tsugumi that is evident in every route. It’s just so cute!
But choosing guys other than him makes me feel bad for Hayato. It’s been too long. But I loved it. Though the pacing is as clunky as ever and the romance just happened, I still loved it for Hayato x Tsugumi. I even loved the revelation in the end. And I’m looking forward to playing his route in the fan disk.
Secret Character
I never thought I’d guess it right www.
Once you get to Hayato’s story, it is pretty easy to guess who the secret character is. Easy because once you’re there, he is the one who keeps on appearing even when he isn’t on other routes. But I didn’t do his route and wants to save this once I get to the port.
Speaking of port…
Nil Admirari no Tenbin on Switch
That’s right. Otomate is moving to Switch now and one of the titles that they are going to port is Nil Admirari no Tenbin. It will be titled Nil Admirari no Tenbin Irodori Nadeshiko. This port will contain the first game and its fandisk.
For the past weeks, I’ve been debating whether I’d get this or PS4 for my RPG needs. Or if I might need to buy another Vita (I fear that the one I have will die any moment lol). So the move is a welcome change for me.
So what now?
I intended on going back to Rui’s route to actually finish the story. Then do the secret character’s route and then the bad ends. But ever since I heard of the port, my motivation died down www. Eventually, I’ll replay the game so I want to save those ends I didn’t finish on the Switch version. Besides, the port will have the fandisk. So I might as well wait for that.
The important thing is I finished Hayato’s route.
Yes, this is vital www. I’m so shipping this pairing that just finishing Hayato’s route makes my entire playthrough worthwhile.

hello! i just wanted to let u know that i enjoy your blog and everytime i read ur meta/headcanons i learn something new and insightful. i was wondering if u could recommend some blogs that post anime content + some info about what each blog posts? (after coming off from a semihiatus, im looking to follow some new blogs)
Thank you anon!! I don’t follow a whooole bunch of people and I don’t follow anyone that is anime-only bloggos for snk or otherwise, but let’s see... I follow these people for--
Attack on Titan:
@hushpiper (meta/analysis/discussion)@attack-on-social-skills (meta/analysis/discussion)@stohessdistrict (analysis stuff but also loooovely edits/gifs! and sometimes other anime posts)@swolleneyes (beautiful art)@miawrly (more lovely art)@ermioney (and more lovely art!)@aotopmha (meta/analysis/discussion)@etoincognito (meta/analysis/discussion)@ghostmartyr (meta/analysis)@lenniikins (misc, sometimes art but mostly images/reblogs)@goodguyjean (meta and discussion posts; they love Jean so if you love Jean this blog is for you)@hamburger--time (misc reblogs, memes, fun stuff)@lolakasa (pretty artwork!)@hilow (misc stuff, sometimes artwork)@lindowyn (discussion!! meta!)@teetanjaeger (discussion and meta)@momtaku (meta/analysis/discussion)@bossard (fanfiction!!!! good fanfic!! GREAT FANFIC!!!!! but also fun conversationalist)@trash-god (i’m love her art and we talk 24/7 about everything so)@drinkyourfuckingmilk (not tons of snk anymore but art mostly)
Others:
@kippielovesyou (we have a lot of fandoms in common but you might see misc anime fandom stuff here)@hikawamaria & @hairjel (these two i followed for snk but they post a lot of other stuff)@final-mazin-blade (if you like mecha this is the guy)@hitaki-tempo (nice art esp for psycho pass!)@homun-clueless (FMA/B)
I hope these are a good starting place. There are lots of people in the fandom I don’t kick around with regularly but whom you might enjoy talking to; it really depends on what your interests are? I mean, anime in general is great but I tend to follow mostly snk-centric blogs that post random other animes depending on mood.
