im quite tired of talking about totk, like im sure you all know by know just how frustrated i am, but something i still strongly believe was the logical, and best thing to do in a sequel.. -
while botw was about you feeling lost in a strange world with neither you nor link knowing anything and both discovering it as you go, the theme of lonelyness and isolation, freeing the spirits of dead friends you need toremember again, in the end finally reuniting with one of the only friends still alive, after a 100 years
totk should have been about community, about working together with zelda at your side, as a companion, after having been seperated for so long, and seeing nothing of the time between titles, this should have been her travelling alongside you, after botw you'd WANT to spend time with her and get to know her more, her being the diplomat, the archtitect, the scientist, the translator of old texts, a historian trying to find out the truth about what her fathers kingdom was built on, to right old wrongs perhaps, for a better future- theres so much that she should have been, so much of her character was primed to go into this direction- and instead she is a pretty prize with no personality you get at the end like this is an 80s cartoon still
(this is disregarding the whole fact that ganondorf, AS WELL, should have been a giant factor in all this, in the history of it all, to explore his character and his actions, to have zelda research and find out about histroy clearly written by the victors- theres so much potential depth here that it dirves me crazy, botw was such a set up for more that was wasted, utterly wasted, for something i wouldnt even want to call paper thin bc even paper has more depth than anything in totk)

sketches for Ciel and Sebastian in Chinese Ming dynasty style. I wanted to see how they’d fit in ancient robes…
their hairstyles won’t fit in with the historical accurate look but I tried🥲
ciel’s look refers to the protagonist of A Dream in Red Mansions (all time best ancient Chinese literature ngl; I see a parallel in ciel and him)
There’s not really a demon’s outfit in Chinese myths(in fact not even the equivalent concept of the devil)so I give Seb a casual wear for officals (but he got a crow embroidery rather than the proper patterns for officials for identification(?)
P2 is our boy ciel pre-contract…
Not sure why I made these but I wanted different outfits for them and I like Chinese histroy🫢

"The visual evidence...of starvation, cruelty and bestiality were so overpowering as to leave me a bit sick. In one room, where there were piled up twenty or thirty naked men, killed by starvation, [General] George Patton would not even enter. He said he would get sick if he did so. I made the visit deliberately, in order to be ina position to give firsthand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency t ocharge these allegations merely to "propaganda.""
- General Dwight Eisenhower, (1890-1969), Supreme commander of the Allied armies in a letter to Chief of Staff George Marshall, after visiting the Nazi concentration camp at Ohrruf, Germany (Harry James Cargas, Shadows of Auschwitz, page 157)
Compare the prescient comment of Eisenhower, who intuited as early as 2945 that forces would arise to deny the Holocaust, with the record of Noam Chomsky. The latter, the acclaimed MIT linguist and left-wing polemicist, has aggressively defended the right of Robert Faurisson, a French university professor, to teach that the Holocaust never occurred and that Auschwitz contained no gas chambers. One wonders whether Chomsky would similarly defend the right of an MIT professor to teach that slavery never existed in America. As Bernard Baruch once stated: Every man has a right to his own opinion. But no man has a right to be wrong in his facts.""There is an obvious danger in assuming that because Holocaust denial is so outlandish, it can be ignored. The deniers' worldview is no more bizarre than that [of those who believe in the] Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a report purporting to be the text of a secret plan to establish Jewish world supremacy."- Deborah Lipstadt, Denying the Holocaust, page 24A proven forgery, The Protocols were cited by the Nazis as one of their warrants for ridding Europe of Jews (see Norman Cohn, A History of Genocide, a histroy of this forgery and of the damage it did). Historian Lipstadt documents the growing acceptance of claims advanced by Holocaust deniers. In Italy, where many of their publications have appeared, a 1992 public opinion poll revealed that 10 percent of Italians believe the Holocaust never happened. In this country, a 1993 Roper poll question, "Does it seem possible or does it seem impossible to you that the Nazi extermination of the Jews never happened?" revealed that 22 percent of Americans believe it possible that the Holocaust is a hoax. Unfortunately, given Americans' common penchant for conspiratorial and revisionist history, we would probably have a more accurate perception of American attitudes had the questioner simply asked, "Do you believe the Nazi extermination of the Jews happened or did not?"

Soon after, when Rose was 6, she was at a park where she was found and put on a orphanage just a few days after her parents abandoned her.
During her time in the orphanage, Rose never gotten close to the other kids and was very quiet and distant until she was adopted by a loving couple of two fathers who are seeking another adoption after already adopting 2 boys and 1 girl.
Living with her new family was an adjustment for her but Rose soon came to love her new family after a year being with them.
One time, Rose and her younger siblings played hide and seek on a near by park with their fathers and had ended up almost being lost until they were able to find their father's voices.
PERSONALITY
Rose is what many would examplify as a proper lady. She is kind, proper, graceful, smart, kinda strict, resourceful and strives to do everything perfectly to make her fathers proud, which can be unhealthy most of the time. Due to her past with her biological parents, Rose has fears of making a mistake or doing something wrong that will upset someone like her new parents where she promises to gain perfect performances at school to make sure that she isnt a mistake to them and even make sure that people accepts her, where at times gotten her to do some bedthings.

Rose's unique magic is called "Plants Grow". She can grow and control plants at will but has to be near plants or anywhere that plants can grow so that it can work, otherwise it will be very weak.
POKÉMON TEAM
Blossom - Roserade
Tumblr media
- Blossom is Rose's very first pokemon after both of thembwere wandering near some flowers bushes in school campus.
- Has this Motherly persona to her as she would help the little Flabebes from time to time in the school garden.
- Very protective of her Trainer. She is very helpful and elegant yet clever and strong during battles. Acts like Rose's personal therapist since she is aware of Rose's struggles so she wants to help her out, as best as she can.
Blaze - Rapidash (Kanto Form)
Tumblr media
- Blaze is a very fast, proud yet competitive pokemon who was found by Rose when she was running around near some meadows during one of days in the assignment.
- Due to he's wild and competitive spirit, Blaze loves to cause some mischief once and awhile. Causing things like suddenly picking Rose up out of the blue and run very fast while she is in he's back or when he switches the color paints that Smidge is using.
-
Smidge - Smeargle
Tumblr media
- Smidge is a very curious pokemon by nature and has an attendances to paint everything he sees and I mean EVERYTHING.
- Thats how Rose meet Smidge when she had saw him trying to paint some white roses with red paint. Though upset, Rose found a way to Smidge paint the plain wall beside the garden so that he wouldnt paint her flower bushes.
- Expect Rose's room to be very colorful or the trainer herself to be very stylish on certain days and events because Smidge here loves the arts and loves to stylize thing to he's liking, a fashionista if you will.
Victoria - Polteageist and Lil Jane (or Jane) - Sinistea
Tumblr media
- A party duo, if you will. This two always love a good party trick or two to guests at parties and would love to help plan the perfect one.
- Birthday party's are their favorite and they want to make everyone feel special. When not partying, these two are always seen in their trainer's dorm kitchen cooking some small snacks and tea for Rose.
Ria - Altaria
Tumblr media
- Ria is mostly the most calm one of the group beside Blossom, at times where the Roserade would butt heads with Blaze during one of he's pranks.
- Her name drives from her current form when Rose decided to call her after Altaria when she was just a Swablu found stuck in a tree branch.
- Her soft and pillowy wings always brings the group together whenever they all are ever tired from school, battling or training. The mediator of the group.
TRIVIA
Rose is twisted from the red painted roses from "Alice in Wonderland".
Her name "Rose" is simplh a direct reference to the roses that the card soldiers were painting red and her last name "Evergarden" is a nod to the Queen of Heart's garden.
The red color on her hair is dyed by one of her brother by her request due to an attempt to fit in with others in MJA when dyeing your hair was a trend at the time. Soon after, she came to like this new look.
Taken up painting when one of her father's had taught her one day outside of the garden and had been doing it since then.
(more to be added soon)

Hello 😁! Here is a "brief" overview of generation names. This prospective is very U.S. facing idk if years change pre country.
(Sorry for any spelling mistakes I'm on mobile)
But thier are currently 8-ish generations:
(People who lived during) WWII 1922 - 1827
The silent generation 1928 - 1945
Boomers 1946 -1954 Baby boomers 1955 - 1964
Gen X 1965 -1980
Millennials 1981 - 1995 (also known as Gen Y)
Gen Z 1996 - 2012 (also know but rarely called Zommers)
Gen Alpha 2012 - current (this will change in probs with in the decade)
Generations names historically were used to show a difference is social behaviors of people normally a generation would come to an end/start a new one with massive historical change. For example the silent generation is known from living through the Great Depression, while Millennials are known as people who grew up while technology was rapidly advancing during their childhood in teenage years. In general, think did this group of people live through something horribly disastrous (that's a generation)? Or did a group of people live through something historically awesome?
Recently, Gen Z has broken that pattern scine generational names are no longer used as indicators of a person's development and behavior during the historical events that they grew up through. Instead these needs have been reclaimed for marketing. Obviously these generational names are still used to talk about historical events in people's behaviors, but the time frame gaps of when a generation starts and ends have now been used as a separations of how to push products. In the late 2000s right before the name Gen Z was coined everyone younger then a Gen X was considered a Millennial. This eventually had to change because marketing companies soon realized they cannot advertise products the same way to people who are in their mid to late twenties to someone who's 16. I think this happened around 2016/2017 don't quote me on that.
If Gen Z generational cut off was going to follow its predecessors Gen Z should be notated by starting in 2001 or 2000 at the earliest (again atleast from an American perspective).
Also with the starts and ends of generational groups is loosely defined numbers because a lot of people identify with the generation before or after their own. These people are referred to as 'cuspers', and have thier own micro-names (think the naming conventions we use for ships in fandom) There are cuspers in every single generational group. It just happens because, "society norms and trends don't just suddenly disappear with a number of the year changes." That is a direct quote for my old high school history teacher lol.
Oh! Last thing you are right to think of Zommers as "scooters". The original reason I believe behind the name Zoomer was to describe teenagersand older kids/pre-teens at the time as people who are always moving always on the go, or being busy and trendy on their phone. Fun fact another almost name for generation zoomer was generation iPad. Also Generation Z was given the letter Z not just because the word is Zoomer, but because of whatever bad historical things were happening at the time people thought we would be the "last generation".
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. I now must get back to work.
*softly, but with feeling* God I love histroy nerds
This was actually interesting to read??? and thank you for giving my one braincell something to chew on <3 <3

I was going through your blog and I saw you made a post about Black Indians and how ridiculous you think they are. I just wanted to let you know that it's a historical fact that Africans and Native Americans mixed regardless of how you feel. That's all.
i think you're misunderstanding. (it's okay. there's been a lot of misunderstandings around here lately.)
i wasn't talking about actual black indians. i fully acknowledge that there was some degree of mixing between africans and native americans. though it's important to note that this was only ever in very small numbers and was mostly limited to the seminoles. other examples of "black indians" are mostly the result of former slaves gaining membership within the native american nation they were enslaved by (like the cherokee nation, most prominently). there was a whole legal controversy about this.
no, what i was talking about in that post was this new afro-centric conspiracy theory that insists the original and true native americans were actually african. except they don't believe they were actually africans. as in, they don't believe they came here from africa. they believed humanity (except white people who they don't consider humans) started with the original true "black indians" here in america. and then they spread throughout the world until white people came along and ruined everything and attempted to suppress this "true" histroy.
so yeah, these are two very different ideas. i fully acknowledge the former and i think the latter is outrageous and stupid (though very entertaining).

my review of the movie "the lost king" and a formal request for more historian friends.
Tumblr media
RIGHT SO: basically the movie starts with this iconic woman named Phillipa Langley relates to the fact that Shakespeare's portrayal of Richard the Third says that because he was disabled he was the worst of people, and she decides that she is going to set out and do research, because she feels like if he had been disabled he wouldn't have felt that poorly about himself
(That's a bit of a sum up, but it still hits the highlights)
AND IN THE MOVIE: All of these big fancy professional historians have come to these conclusions, without piecing it all together, which is a bit mad.
and this ameutur historian (Langley) proves that Richard the Third was not the usurper that history called him, but instead a true king who did not have his nephews killed in the tower
and it's just this further proof that history is seen through a very specific point of view, and that if there isn't enough research done in the First Place people will get history incorrect
because the king following richard chose to spread lies about him, and then Shakespeare made it worse with his play and so on and so on, History decided that Richard the Third was a usurper
And that happens in history!
OFTEN!
People decide that there are parts in histroy that they don't agree with:
and then they write it out
And then the historians that follow look at it and say "Hey this historian has a degree from such and such, so im going to trust them and just quote them without looking into it myself"
And so, Phillipa Langley had nothing to prove and yet she still went out and did it. Because she didn't have a degree to protect, or people she was required to listen to as to not upset anyone, she had a truth she wanted to share and find out so she did
and i KNOW
That it a very debated statement about whether or not "history is decided by the victors" and i do think it's not in every case, but there are many examples that say that it is in fact that it is something people do:
Like, Richard the Third
Or, like the freaking trail of tears, the civil war, the potato famine, the disability rights movement, i could literally keep listing!!!
Like, I get it if history isn't that important to some people, i do!!!
But it is there.
And it is such an important aspect of humans.
Even if they don't realize.
BECAUSE!!!
History may not be the here and now, but it is how we got here
And sure, there are shit parts about it, there are elements of history that no one wants to talk about, or acknowlede, or deal with ever again but there is beauty in there too!!!
History is so beautiful when you know how to read the sources right, and understand that you cannot put you're 2023 mindset into an event that happened 200 years ago.
History is beautiful!

Stupid questions incoming:
How exactly is Aryan Migration different from like, other migrations? Is it the fact that they did not have a homeland? Was this the place they finally settled at after leaving Africa or were they actually native to someplace else before?
Everyone came from Africa, right? And if so, what is the difference between Dravidians finding this land and what exactly makes Aryans foreigners in some people’s eyes?
oh yes THIS
i should have touched on this that day but the post was getting too long,
no difference at all, in the grand scheme of things, people have been migrating here and there since the beginning, the ethnoclutural backgrounds of places change all the time.
also, they did have a homeland, the pontic steppes, they just didnt build buildings, canals, citadels like many other contemporary societies did. and they did have attachment to the land they lived on, prithvi and her homologues are one of the most important godesses afterall.
and noone actually knows if the first place that dravidians settled was india, or any other society for that matter because by the most agreed upon definition, homo sapiens left africa somewhere around 70-50,000 years ago.
[also, there is no set definition of "human", many consider all the species of the homo genus to be humans, in which case homo erectus (dont laugh) left africa 2 million years ago, and also homo sapiens also left africa once or twice before 50000 ago but those were not permanent and they died off]
so we arrive in asia 70-50,000 yars ago. the oldest settlements are 10,000 old, and the oldest civilisation is egypt at around 5000 years old. now you notice the 65-45,000 year long window between exodus out of africa and starting of the first nation? between this time EVERYONE was nomadic. gunter gatherer at first and then pastoralists and then some places became agriculturists.
there have been so many waves of migrations that cant possibly claim that xyz was the original place of abc people after coming out of africa, i mean just imagine, youre a hunter gatherer, rain doesnt happen on time and the plants are drying, now youll want to get out of that place and go somewhere else, you have no particular place in mind, just somewhere that has food will do. so migrations were the norm for most of histroy, until like two hundred years ago you could just leave a country and go live somewhere else and noone would bat an eye
and everyone was moving around, the americas were settled TWICE, by crossing through the berring strait (which was frozen as an ice bridge back then).
so there is no fundamental difference between aryans and dravidians arriving in india, its just that due to coincidence the dravidians came first.
and i can not claim to know anyones mind unfortunately,
but it might be because right wing hindu conservatives consider muslims and british descendents to be foreigners, so someone promptly pointed out that technically youre a foreigner as well, (though they were wrong in saying that, because no genetically pure aryan is living today, all of us are mixed race, though the hindus are obviously also wrong in claiming that the palce theyve been living in for generations, almost a millenium in some cases is "not their country")
and theres also the caste thing, see in the northern plains (wont make any claims about other places, this is how things are percieved as here) (also im not saying that the following is true, but only that most people believe it too be true, i dont have enough knowledge to support or deny this) upper caste people tend to have more "aryan" phenotype whereas lower caste people have more native phenotypes. so many lower class people feel like that they were the originals owners of this land and in came these foreigners, oppressed us, destroyed our religion, implemented their own oppressive culture etc etc you get the gist.
to some extent this is true (just look at our beauty standards, and no the british didnt cause this) as lower caste were objectively oppressed and kept out of any well do to position under the hindu laws (we had a katha a few days back and the "priest" had the fucking audacity to say that "those who feel like they can be with god by reading the scripture and reciting it dont know that only brhamins can read it in a meaningful way" like what the fuck you bastard)
umm yeah thats it.

"Arguably, you would look really good in blue. Green, not so much, but blue would look rather nice." The rest really doesn't surprise him at all, that Drustan didn't mark off. Given his fickle histroy with Hylia, the Goddesses, and his brash nature. None of it surprises him. A fondness for history? That does. "The fact you scored so high alarms me as much as it does surprise me..."

Summer of Soul Documentary Reflection
Once again, I am here to share my disbelief, which, at this point in the semester is transforming into growing expectancy, of the lack of coverage of important moments in Black music and culture. It is unfathomable that a festival of 30,000 to 40,000 people in the heart of Harlem has gone all these years unknown. The documentary was immensely encapsulating, and I will definitely be recommending this to my family and friends. If it were not for Questlove and the other people involved in the production of this documentary, a large portion of histroy would still be missing, so I am thankful fr the work that has been done in the production and marketing for this film.
In the beginning of the documentary, when they announced Stevie Wonder as the performer, I almost could not believe my ears. I was already in disbelief that any festival of that size has been ignored for decades, but for the performers to be of the calibre of Stevie Wonder and the 5th Dimension is absolutely wild. There were so many aspects of the concert that were so cool pertaining to the Harlem community’s ability to put on the show despite the hardships and reluctancy from the city for help. The fact that the Black Panthers were the security for the festival is sad in knowing the police would not support Black culture, but cool in the sense that the community of Harlem was able to do it themselves.
It also shocked me how supportive of the Harlem community NYC mayor John Lindsay was as a whole. A straight, white, republican man as the mayor of New York City, the mayor of a large Black population, was popular in the community. It was interesting to learn about this man and how involved he was in the community and his attempt, and somewhat success in anti-poverty programs. It is also hard to imagine any straight, white, republican male being a popular mayor of New York City, especially in Harlem.
