There are many times that we feel like we cannot do anything. We are put into a situation where we do not know what to do or we think that we cannot do anything about it. We easily give up and just accept defeat. 

However, God is telling us differently. He reminded us through His scripture that we should not rely on our own strength, instead we should rely on His strength. If we only rely on our own strength, we can never do anything. 

We are weak but He made us strong. God says that we can do anything through Him who gives us strength, indeed we can! Just like how Jesus won the victory over death, we can win the battle against sin through Him. 

If you are in a situation right now where you think you cannot do anything, always remember that our strength comes from Him and we can do anything through Him— even death cannot hold us. 

When you feel so weak and down, hold on to Him for His strength is perfect. Do not be ashamed to come to our God in your knees because we are all weak, but with Him we are all strong. 

So if you are having a hard time defeating your battles or saying ‘no’ to your pet sin, hold on to His promise because you can do anything through Him and believe in His name that He will be there for you. Jesus will strengthen you as you battle your way out of sin.

Never an easy task, but completely necessary especially during uncertain times and when we're feeling overwhelmed by the world or whatever might be weighing us down. God tells us time and time again to cast our cares on Him, but often we continue to bear them ourselves even when we say we are trusting Him. Let go and let God, as the saying goes. We need to trust the same strength that sustains us day to day, to carry our cares and worries as well. We know that God is a man of His word (like the song we learned last week) and there is no way He would tell us to do something where He wouldn't follow through. He wants to carry everything for us, especially the burdens that Christ died for on the cross. Pain, heartache, betrayal, doubt, shame, sin, everything we hold onto for too long sometimes. His Word is filled with promises that never let us down, and He will never let us fall. We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord , And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. Psalms 78:4 NKJV All the glory, praises and honor be to the Heavenly Father in Jesus' precious name ! The subject verse from the Book of Psalms presents before us an important aspect of our Christian life. We have an important role to play between the past generations and the future generations. Undoubtedly, the generational Christians would have received a lot from the past generations. In terms of the testimonies, spiritual knowledge, wisdom, the godly workings, the truths, the miracles etc. The Bible says that all these are not meant to be kept under the shelves. But passed on to the generations to come, glorifying the Living God. As the subject verse says, we should be faithful in telling all the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord. Indeed, it is our solemn duty to pass on the wonderful works and truths of the Almighty God. Thereby we shall exalt His mighty name. The God who has promised us His mighty presence and protection shall never fail us. For the Lord is good and He is faithful to all generations. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.Psalms 100:5 NKJV Therefore, let us walk the path of the Lord and also lead our younger generations to the Son of God. It's impossible to avoid strife in the world around us; conflict is everywhere. But with God we can know perfect peace even in turmoil. When we are devoted to Him, our whole attitude is steady and stable. Is this easy? No. Does our attitude change or fluctuate? Of course. We're human. We're also supported by God's unchanging love and mighty power. Therefore, we are not so easily shaken by the surrounding chaos (Phil. 4:7 - "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus) - and you'll never know how REAL the peace of God is until you really need it! This same peace is what I found when my Mom passed. It took some time, but I knew that it was something God could provide if I sought Him wholeheartedly. My faith grew as I pursued my relationship with the Lord, and the weight of losing her felt like it was lifted off; He gave me this overwhelming sense of peace in knowing that I'll see her again one day. I always believed that to be true but it became more real and this is the hope I cling to when I think about her and miss her not being here to enjoy life with us. It's sad and definitely not easy sometimes, but it is part of this life that everyone has to experience at some point in time. 🙏🏽 Do you long for peace?
