Birds of paradise <333 Them being of the same bird family is important to me... (honorary mention to the snowy owl for Kristoph) (also honorable mention to the paradise crow) (but i like them having matching ribbons (and the two birds i went with are more closely related))

I originally tried giving Klav the whole fluffy back of yellow/white feathers, but (a) he looked SO over complicated (especially compared to everyone else) and (b) I realized that no other character has back feathers, anyways. so it would make sense he does not either.

The ribbon-tails are similar to Apollo and Trucy's hearts: they both inherit this feature from one of their parents. (One parent is a stephanie's astrapia, one is a lesser bird-of-paradise). (Also of note: the lesser bird-of-paradise also has two long wire plumes, if you look closely)

Tails: (Klav's is basically a ribbon-tailed astrapia's tail btw.) Because the tail is such a notable feature of these species, I'm including it, though they also come from the base of the wing (though I'll probably just draw them as essentially tails in the future), and are much shorter than they would be, were they proportional.

THE OMRYE

the omrye are a species of wild dog-like creatures that live on the continent of luperia, home of the lupin and other wild/magical creatures.

lore

the omrye are said to be beings of pure chaos, created by none other than the goddess of chaos, Asani. no one knows how Asani managed to create a living creature as she is not the god of life, the reason many lupin tend to believe this is because of the strange chaotic magic they possess, but others believe that they were created by the god of life, calypso, as a gift for his little sister.

description

the omrye mostly look like dogs that can range in size from 3ft to 15ft. they’re also known to have lots of eyes scattered across their body, Horns are extremely rare for the omrye species but they can have them. They also have spiky stinger tails with a deadly venom and a long mouth that runs down their body.

variants/some facts about each omrye

The standard variant of the omrye, they are the most common version of this species, typically found in the desert or the forests of luperia. they are mainly used for companionship among the lupins.

the sea variant of the omrye, they tend to be more skittish than most of the creatures on luperia. they are always well cared for by their owners and are used for sports and hunting.

The snow/mountain variants are the sturdest version of the omrye, being able to lift 5x the amount of their body weight. they tend to be kept as working animals for the mountain lupin, helping build villages, hunting purposes, and a source of fur.

This one made me actually consider how they balance the humours beyond just a simply "they scour it out". Because sometimes a holy beast gets 'sick' and it's not necessarily related to any sort of tissue growth, it's more often a mechanical fault and because the beast is considered to be alive, he is then therefore 'sick'. So how do we deal with this? An enginesmith will make the necessary repairs, but sometimes the sickness is related to environmental conditions. The four humours are arranged on a scale like this:

A mechanical fault associated with being too hot and dry could be something like a lack of lubrication on moving machine parts. So this would be considered the reason for a production of yellow bile (excess of yellow bile, btw, was what Pantera was diagnosed with on his last outing). Whether or not the bile is literal or more symbolic depends on the case. Anyway this was the reason Pantera is associated with fire (originally, when I was designing them all) and Leun, diametrically opposite, is associated with phlegm, water, acid, etc.

But anyway, the way to fix these imbalances in hot/cold/wet/dry is to simply reduce whichever one is excessive. In practice, keeping holy beasts maintained even when they're not out on a crusade is a full time job for an army of workers, where the atmospheric conditions need to be as neutral as possible. Too wet and you've got rust, too dry and the metal fatigues, to hot and it might warp and break, too cold and the joints won't fit properly, etc etc. Although the enginesmiths view this through a lens of The Four Humours, it's also just good practice to try to keep things balanced.

Btw while they do cure an excess of blood by bleeding the holy beast, they don't make leeches big enough :'(

There are illustrated representations of dragons that are pretty traditionally dragony (typically a winged serpent with many tails representing the stinging tendrils). These are added to drawings and art as a catch-all symbol for a conscious and targeted Evil. The laity, which is very devout, is unlikely to associate dragons with resistance - dragons cause a lot of damage too, and those stinging barbs will kill you just from the trauma of the impalement before the venom even has a chance to (unless you just get grazed, in which case.. the venom will paralyse you. then kill you)

So active rebellions/civil wars/wars of succession have occurred many times. The subjugated Midaean nation/territory (depending on who you ask) rallies around their beloved Saint Lycaon, a wolf. Flags and signs depicting a wolf devouring a crocodile/a lion/whatever holy beast currently tops the hierarchy of the church would be more likely. Rebellion itself is rarely black and white and as neat as picking a symbol the church hates. It is more likely people would pick a symbol that they love. Outside of Midea, the Mezian empire might not be at its peak but it also has not given its own citizens and laity a reason to take up arms against it.

So the nerve cords inside the vertebrae are artificial, but they still perform the same physiological function as a real spinal column. They interface with a knight's dialogue. This produces an incredible amount of heat - this is why the spines are often exposed, even though that might be a point of vulnerability. The spinous processes in particular are very effective heat sinks.

But the tail? In most cases we don't need the tail, really. The spinal column ends at the base of the pelvis. The tail is cropped for most beasts on purpose - we don't need this thing dangling around and becoming entangled, and it has no machinery around it to act as replacement muscles so it couldn't move even if they wanted it to. Krokodilos's tail is the exception and it's just extremely heavy for not much pay off. That's a lot of additional engines we gotta maintain.

So the tail tends to be abandoned. The bones are kept of course but not mounted on the chassis where they're not needed. With no nerve cord running through them they don't run hot either so they won't disperse heat all that well.

Now for replacing bones... they don't. The bones that exist in the chassis are the bare minimum needed to perform the required functions - basic movement. They don't have ribs, they often don't have phalanges. A skull is there to complete the nerve cord - but all you need of that skull is the occipital bone. Nothing more.

If they break a leg, it might be repaired using screw and plate fixation. The bone may deign to knit together (enginesmiths swear that they don't allow tissue growth ever.. but sometimes you need some periosteum. Don't tell the bishops). But if it gets crushed? That's the holy beast done, scrap heap time. The majority of all holy beasts that have ever existed have already broken down and been decommissioned at the start of this story - we only have seven left (eight if you count krokodilos). Krokodilos is an unusual case because he is not dead, so they can't just hold a state funeral and add his heart engine block to the big hall of old hearts in the cathedral. He's sleeping.

But he's the exception. Take Saint Guinefort - dead as a doornail. He had a full funeral, his heart was put in the hall and his body was [redacted] like they do with all dead holy beasts. And then he was [redacted] and now our pal "Sir Victory" with the metal arm uses him as Nosewyse. Circle of life.

I think sidecar motorcycle is a pretty apt way of looking at him lmao. You don't wanna know how many people he's cooked.

Hey there! So I know I've mentioned they are similar to pterosaurs but they are not related to them at all. In fact they are cetaceans :) Later art I did of them plays up the mammal traits a bit more. Check out these nipples

However it is a fact that they are not closely related to modern cetaceans - as in, they did not evolve from modern whales and dolphins, but belong to a side branch that diverged relatively early, around the same time dragons were leaving the water for the skies. That art is quite old too, from before I kind of nailed it all down, so if I drew them now I would remove the more derived traits (i.e the single blowhole, the tail flukes, etc) and tidy it up a little. They diverged from the lineage that would become modern whales before the pelvic limbs were lost. I originally depict them having the crowbar-like claws on their feet to lever skin parasites off the dragon, but i think they are more likely to not use their feet much at all, and are more likely to use their single huge beak-like tooth to do the job instead. They cannot walk on flat surfaces.

Only insects and, specifically, winged insects :) I know it would be really cool to have various other giant arthropods but milennia ago, when they crossed into Thera for the first time, insects were the only fliers. And there is no other way to get over the mountain range quickly enough for it not to kill you. The mountain range in which the endless city sits is completely and 100% devoid of life. A journey on foot for a tiny bug would be next to impossible - they are more likely to starve or simply turn around and go back to where the food is.

The winged insects, otoh, can cross the range in a day or less, if the breeze is flowing right. And they would find plants already there in Thera - also solely wind-dispersed species from the previous time the mountains arrived and linked the world with Earth. The insects didn't really come by choice, sometimes the wind just blows the wrong way, but they definitely got lucky.

There are wingless insects in Thera today but only because they lost that trait over time (like ants or larviform female beetles). They have managed to colonise every reasonable habitat, including the sea (though the sea is not very salty) and have developed into a lot of very strange forms which might be unrecognisable to us. But a lot of them just got bigger and smarter.

This time round, in the period of time the story is set (early 1900s on earth), the mountains appeared and new animals crossed over who were not insects. Birds have become invasive in Thera, happily taking advantage of the smaller insect species who are completely unprepared for this new threat. There are also some wind-dispersed spiders hanging out now.

EDIT: oh i forgor the parasites on the flying insects that first colonised thera... yes they would have mites and horsehair worms and things of that nature

Daily Dragon #343 - Silver Comet

The Lord of Dragons. A serious, no-nonsense dragon with an unyielding sense of duty in his role to protect all dragons no matter what. He will work with other species to protect his own, but wont hesitate to destroy ANYTHING that harms his people

Another dragon redraw, this time from 2018! I've always been pretty fond of his design, and yet I never really came back to draw him again! I think I've made improvements, but even looking back on the odd choices of the old design, I think it's a very strong design for me in 2018

Daily Dragon #344 - Rainforest Dragon

These slippery dragons love humid conditions and thrive because of the toxic food that grows there. Depending on what they eat, their skin might secrete poison with different properties such as burning or paralyzing!

I'm actually kind of surprised I haven't done a dragon in this style yet for the challenge, but this is a crayon style I used to do a LOT in Clip Studio Paint! I think it looks very cute, and I actually understand CSP more now than I did before. I should use this style more.

Daily Dragon #345 - Bogeyman Dragon

A bogeyman who was born with draconic features such as wings and a prominent tail. However, instead of traditionally elemental breath, this Bogeyman can summon and spit out large orbs made of a sticky substance that stops foes in their tracks!

this was originally a different dragon i decided and didn't like and almost scrapped but figured i could repurpose into a bogeyman :)

And of course, this funny circle dragon knight guy is the dragon for the day. And I'm finally caught up again! I'm gonna try to keep on top of this for the rest of the challenge since we're so close to the end :)

Also for some more insight, originally I wanted him to have a sword similar to Sol Badguy's, but thought having ANOTHER metaknight with a sword was a bit too easy. Then I tried claws today, but didn't like how they looked on his short arms.

Ultimately I settled on a hook because, hey, Bahamut used to be a fish right? Maybe it'd be cute if the Kirby version of him was also a giant fish or something. Idk

Also known as Fruit Dragons. These are kind and docile creatures that naturally grow fruits all over their body! The quality and taste of the fruits increases based on how well they're kept and treated! They're very popular in kitchens.

This is a redraw of a dragon from 2019! That year I did a big dragon a month challenge! How far we've come lol.

I actually still think this is one of my strongest dragon designs ever. And this original art might still be better than the new one in some ways

The original was done in MS Paint, if you can believe it! The new one is done in fire alpaca cause it's easier and I'm kind of pressed for time. But I hope you all like the new one regardless :)

Also also, this dragon is 1 of 2 redraw dragons I really wanted to get done in this challenge. The second one, if you can believe it, is somehow more complicated and may be the most complex dragon I've ever made. Oh god...

A being incredibly in tune with the planet, feeling all its pain and providing life and protection to it. However, Gaia is an incredibly stubborn and easily angered creature. And will destroy civilizations it deems a threat to earth.

Daily Dragon #349 - Wyvern Trout

These large fishes are born with draconic blood. And as such have thick scales, a hardy helmet with horns, flame breath, and fins that double as wings to fly in the air! They're famous for their taste, their flame sack being a particular delicacy

Angeal is a "beast dragon", ruler of the Black Forest and King of Beasts. I based his design off of Penance, because of course I did. Oh, his tail was was bitten off by Genesis when they were kids btw Despite being considered a "ruler", he was banished to the forest by Sephiroth (a mercy, since he would have otherwise killed him) for protecting Genesis, despite his betrayal.

Genesis is a "red dragon", known for their lustrous red scales, affinity for fire, and a deadly venomous bite. Genesis is unusual for his black feathered wings, one of which was removed by Sephiroth after attempting to usurp his throne in a fit of his ever-growing madness after years of loyalty.

Genesis was banished to the Mountains near Banora, his kingdom which he razed to the ground. By banished, I mean he was literally caged into the mountain so he wouldn't cause trouble anymore.

I haven't touched on this AU in quite some time! Riku ends up freeing Genesis in a plea to cure his brother, who was poisoned by Genesis in their battle 400 years ago but wasn't effected by it until ShinRa weakened him with Dragon's Bane.

tragically i dont have any real refs or real descriptions for the cast so far, the best i've got is vibes and a picture of eridanus i posted recently. i will transmit the vibes, however!

nebula: hes got the orbiting star ocourse, and his big fluffy cloak. when i think of what kind of clothes he wears i think like. poet's blouse. black trousers. that kinda thing. maybe a crown? i do not know. hes very sad looking. wet cat of a man

binary: dull colors definitely! also just. librarian core. i really dont have much else for vibes its just "binary :3" in my head

rust: pretty close to bloodmoon v1 tbh, though with more practical clothing? since they go hunting and stuff. the hat stays on at all times however. kinda gives 2-tailed hat vibes tho. can work without. vampire fangies are essential

eridanus: she is BIG she is GLOWY she is DARK she is SPOOKY. she doesnt wear CLOTHES because theyre UNCOMFORTABLE. i refer to the pic ive posted of her for colors and things. orange stripes and underbelly, black scales, red eyes. out of water her fins are floppy and shes cute and i love her. her picture is in her tag if that helps searching for it btw

bird boy lunar: oh man ive got a Vision for him. a Vision. he's more based off of lunar's first proper design, the lil guy ya know? but also still not? idk. anyway most essential things are that hes birdy! bird legs, his arms are wings but on the wrist joint he has lil graspers. think bat for that part. he may or may not have tail feathers dont ask me i dont know things. hes like a species of insect to me.

Ok I'm making an official post for Estrials. (or well official until I make a better one)

Everything below cut so I don't make anyone scroll past the novel length (/hj) post I'm about to make when they're just trying to browse their dash :]

Alright so Estrials! They're a species I made up (though they are definitely inspired by some other things like atla cause of the elemental abilities) and they can be anthro, feral, or even like catboy esque(?) (for the lack of a better term) (an example of what I mean would be my sona)

Heres some examples of existing Estrials (in order: my sona (he/it/pup) (small child edition), evil xisuma (little creature and non little creature forms), jimmy (again little creature and non little creature forms), and bigb (little creature and non little creature forms) gotta love bigb and his little sweater) (also ex is part voidwalker too which is why he looks so different from the others, so like yeah you go combine Estrials and another species that would be epic)

Here we have some of my ocs and a few of the others listed above! Ryder is also part voidwalker and technically doesn't have a little creature form, but I did include a little bust shot doodle of him

If you're still here, now I'm going to tell you how to make your own! (please do I beg I want more little creatures in the world)

Ok so, they are an open species, though there are a few rules (both like actual rules and trait rules so you stay in line with the species)

-First rule: don't be a dick. I will revoke your Estrial rights if you're not a decent person (no like actually I can't take your character but I can make a list of no good icky people so other Estrial fans know not to interact with you)

-2nd rule: have fun! No really I'm not going to be an evil overlord about people making Estrials. Just enjoy yourselves and be kind to others

-3: more of me just saying this than a rule but you can totally have more than one Estrial! Make like 50 of you want I really don't care

Now rules for like traits and stuff

-1: your Estrial has to have some sort of wings (preferably feathered ones but you can do bug or bat wings if you want) (mechanical wings are also cool! Especially if they're meant to be like a prosthetic or something that would be sick) and some sort of horns (literally any horns idc go wild) you can have any number of these traits too

-2: only one elemental ability per Estrial please (or none at all, you can make an element-less Estrial if you want) there's only one Estrial that has more than one elemental ability and he's not even really an Estrial (it's my sona, it's complicated and lore related don't ask unless you want a novel length reply full of lore)

-3: they have to be either based off of some sort of canine or some sort of feline, though you can totally add features from other things (ex: lizards or fish or deer idk) as long as the base creature that has most of the features showing (so like the main body and head I guess?) is a canine/feline you're good (so like the tail, legs, and even ears can be some other creature if you want) (River, shown above, has a fish tail and some fins kinda like vaporeon. So really, go wild)

-4: any patterns and colors are ok, so yeah make that sparkle dog looking thing !! Go wild, be free my friends. Make the shadow the hedgehog Estrial (no actually you totally could)

Ok no more rules! Info time 😈😈

-Estrials can be any size that's bigger than like a small dog (so like chihuahua ish or bigger) and smaller than a horse (yippee big creature)

-The anthro and catboy(?) Estrials can be any human height btw (anthros can be a little smaller than humans too as a treat)

-They can have any length of fur (so yeah you could make a hairless one, I'd actually be real interested to see that someone do it before I do) and be from any region (hence the different fur lengths. Some of them live in real cold places and have to be real fluffy to keep warmth in, and some live in warmer places and have a lot less fur to cool off easier)

-All Estrials can hide their wings (like magic poof they're gone completely and then poof they're back now) and the catboy(?) ones can sometimes hide all their Estrial features (so like their nose, horns, ears, wings, and tails)

-I'm leaving a whole lot up to interpretation so like go wild I guess. Just don't do anything too weird.. I don't want strange things associated with my species..

Ok now the big thing: elemental abilities

So we have 5 elements + no element (though I'm kinda thinking of adding a 6th.... maybe..). Every Estrial falls under one (and only one) of these categories, though their power levels can vary (so like some fire Estrials can only do tiny poofs of flames and others can have like whole fire tornados going on)

Fire, water, air, earth, and plant

They all overlap with others a little too

-Fire Estrials can bend/control/whatever you want to call it magma, lava, fire, and lightning. They can also heat things up, which does mean they can heat other elements enough to somewhat control those (so like heating metal until it's molten and being able to shape it, or heating water enough that it turns into steam. Though steam is a lot harder for fire Estrials to control) though they lose that ability once the element cools off again

-Water Estrials can bend things like water, ice, some gasses (if the gas has a liquid state at a reasonable temperature. So like not things that require to have subzero temps to be liquids like oxygen), and any other liquids (not including molten things if you count those as liquid).

-Air Estrials can control all gasses (unless they need to be superheated to be a gas) and air. They can also definitely move things with air, so like sandstorms and using lots of wind to lift and move big objects. They can even control the weather a bit because of this (though water Estrials also kinda can. They can make it rain at least) by blowing storms around (including hurricanes and tornados, though they can also cause them too)

-Earth Estrials can control anything that's made of some sort of metal or mineral. So like glass (even if it's not molten, they can still change its shape, though they can also control molten glass) any rock, and all kinds of dirt (including compost in case you were wondering. So like if its considered dirt they can control it)

-Plant Estrials can control all plants. And can move things using plants. And can grow plants. Idk what you want from me the name is kinda self explanatory.. they can also grow plants in their fur (or hair if you have a catboy(?) Estrial) (again I don't really know what else to call them..) this does include stuff like coral, mold, and fungus btw so go wild with your biohazard mold guy (omg Ethan Winters ??? Somebody call crumb immediately) (that is a joke do not call crumb cuptoast just because I referenced Ethan Winters..) (though crumb if you somehow see this hiiii you can make an Ethan Winters Estrial, that would be so sick actually)

some times i like to think about the different ucms having various "flaws" and differences between each other.

ie: scp ucm definitely being a lot more monstrous and fitting for the scp universe {link to one of me posts about him} or the monster school ucm having broken off his horn to make a wand for himself, because he hadn't been able to channel wish magic normally.

what are your takes on this?

Hmmmmmmmmmm-

I like to think Daycare Academy UCM has a more wore down supersuit, I also like to think his horn has a slight purple fade at the tip of it and it just has a shimmer texture iykwim (and since horns are connected to skulls normally, the bones would probably have the same too). I also think DCA Ucm has wings (alicorn), but they're small so they're easier to hide. He also probably has a scruffy beard :3 I most like to think he has more powerful wish magic cause he's more skilled(? Possibly?) With it, or just a good level skilled with it.

Luke (in ucm costume) has more curly hair then the others, and a curlier tail with it (I have a small hc that spirit had a "humanoid" form and had curly hair somewhat in the normal form too). I think he canonically has the ability to stack wishes?(as in, wish for multiple things that he can all use before his body gives out, which is actually a good system of control!) I like to think his body gives out more then we know of- especially after the Dr ostrich fight. Also just because of the un-edited skin change I like to think that his beard grows just to cover more of his face when he gets into the UCM outfit- I like to think his supersuit is also not a 3 piece and more of a zip-up, and his boots resemble hooves somewhat to lean into the "unicorn" part.

I think Daycare Unicorn might have the least strong wish magic, so he relies on his Wrench (and all that) I feel like, also he has a set bit of powers that I don't think involve wish magic (teleportation, I forgot the other one- it was shown in that episode where they pushed him into the slingshot squad base Machine and then another Unicorn appeared but monochrome- I call that guy nrocinu mann- ANYWAY-) I don't think the others have those. I also like to think that Daycare ucm has hooves! And walks like a deer somewhat to keep balance.

I love the idea of SCP ucm being more monstrous (btw that post of urs made me watch that series and I LOVED it-)

I haven't watched monster school so I might have to- hmmmmm... ima go do that- those are my takes on the differences in ucms tho- :D (idk if that's what you meant butdjfjvjdkf yeah-) (most of these are just random design Adds but yeah-)

explanations of each design and also a bonus doodle under the cut (its arguably the best part of this)

okay first off the height was loosely based off of how big the actual countries are.

LMANBURG - i based it kinda off of the people lmanburg was for. fox ears for fundy, flower for tommy and also a homage to the whole tommy singing to flowers and that's how they got the national anthem. The glasses are for wilbur bc he kinda made the whole thing. the outfit is based on the lmanburg uniforms. the tail is because most of the people in lmanburg are hybrids so. also the hair felt hamilton-y to me and that was funny. the three hearts on the uniform is part of a headcanon im currently working on but basically its a war medal. oh btw i love the lmanburg flag its symbolic and nice and works very well.

GREATER SMP - i made the flag for this bc there isn't an official flag. the flag was based on dream obviously cause its literally his whole country. anyway the crown is because that's what the leaders wear. the under shirt isn't very fancy because none of the members wear anything fancy. the coat jacket suit thing feels very traditional and proper to me which is the same as the nation so. also i debated on what i should do for the ears bc i was thinking human ears but also like all of the people have pointed ears so i decided to go for that

MANBURG - uhm i love the manburg flag btw <3 its so good and representative of the administration and also it feels like very modernized and sleek and americanized if you get what i mean but its still very destructive and has strong "evil" connotations as well as being a mockery of the lmanburg flag. okay now on to the design. i promise promise there's a difference between the suit/hair/pants and the skin its just really slight. anyway i think it looks cool either way. the big tie gives off "false confidence / cocky / big shot" to me and i thought that worked well. the horns are there bc schlatt obviously and its almost touching the eyes bc manburg is very self destructive and will never last. the ears are human bc manburg also isn't super friendly to hybrids (headcanon??).

POGTOPIA - sorry guys but i hate the pogtopia flag it makes no sense and has no reason and also i just ugly. but alas that's the flag so ill do what i can. anyway pogtopia is very desperate and also an absolute mess so the outfit is symbolic of that. the beanie is for pogbur ofc. you cant really see it but it also has big eyebags. the fangs are half destructive and also half bc its for hybrids. the ears and tail as well are the whole hybrid bit. i think that most hybrids (if they could) left manburg which treated them badly and went to pogtopia which was for the hybrids. also the tail is kinda reminiscent of niki who to me feels like what pogtopia was for. if that makes sense.

NEW LMANBURG - i also really like the new lmanburg flag. i think its cool. anyway the eyepatch bc it looks cool and also i thought it was reminscent of how fucked up lmanburg was and how they rebuilt. the wings again are kinda phoenix-y and also peace and whatever. the flowers are again like rebirth and renewal and stuff. the tail and ears and such are again bc of the whole hybrid thing. also the outfit is like a suit-ified lmanburg uniform

BADLANDS - okay so admittedly idk shit about the badlands. so. the flag is pretty cool tho. i gave it horns like bbh and cat ears like antfrost and a mouth like sam / bbh. i did the cloak and scarf thingy bc both bbh and ponk have something like that so i figured that fit. sorry there's nothing really special about this

SYNDICATE - wooo boy theres a lot here. so the syndicate does not have a flag so i had to make one. i looked some up and there was a lot of red and black which i liked. red bc of like anarchy and shit and then black bc that's also pretty anarchy-y but also withers which. they do a lot. i put it like slashed bc its very "conflict opposing dangerous" and that works well with the syndicate. and then i saw one a long time ago that was based on their end portal table so i also added that with the border and the thing in the middle. then i added a bit of gold because i wanted to and i thought it looked cool and to me gold is a syndicate color. i gave them a crown bc both techno and ranboo have crowns so. they have a cape bc its like a secret organization and then i added fluff bc its cold in the artic. the outfit is supposed to resemble the type of outfits that techno and ranboo and somewhat niki ? so like older outfits with the corest and fancy sleeves. and then also like good boots bc they do like fighting and stuff. the hair is short as like a niki and phil thing. also the tail kinda looks like ranboo and that was kinda accidental but i like it. the ears are feathered for phil and also kinda niki and i didn't think wings fit. the clasp is an eye of ender bc of the end portal table. you'd think the syndicate would be tiny tiny but i headcanon that they have other lesser members everywhere (just random informants and such) so

SNOWCHESTER -snowchester's flag is pleasing. also i like the memes about it being close to the mlm flag. anyway the outfit is obviously inspired by ctubbos outfit but its cold and called snowchester so i figured it fit. the small horns are for ranboo. the flowers are for peace and healing and whatever and also a homage to the lmanburgs. the curling horns are not close to the eye but could grow to be bc of nukes and such. the tail and curling horns are both puffy and tubbo.

LAS NEVADAS - i love the aesthetics of the las nevadas flag its so so good. anyway the outfit is pretty self explanatory. the horns and devil tail is bc its a place of sin (casino and whatever). the only reference to the habitants are the feathered ears (quackity) bc its not reeeaaaally for the residents.

KINOKO KINGDOM - okay. okay. the flag is absolutely by far the most aesthetically pleasing flag. i love love off white its amazing and makes sense. i gave it a mushroom hat because. mushroom. the hair is a mix of tina's, sapnap's and karl's. the collar is for george, and the sleeves are for tina. the rest of the outfit is kinda for karl??? if that makes sense. and then the tail is for tina and sapnap

EGGPIRE - i also lovee the eggpire flag. it works well. anyway you may notice that there is literally no callbacks to the eggpire members. that's cause the egg literally does not give a shit about the members. its hair is long and kinda curls like the vines. the dress is about temptation and also like. not battle ready doesn't need to explore or anything just happens. if that makes sense. vines around the head and waist for the silly factor. vine tail because it looks cool

LIMBO - i just did limbo bc i didnt know what else to do. anyway limbo has a sweater bc i feel like ghosts get sweaters and then also is in grayscale because that's the commonality

Hopstripe He/Him(Top left)-

As you can guess, he was originally a kittypet. There's not too much to him lore-wise. He's apart of this trio of cats (one of whom is Breezehorse from a previous post) who seem to like impressing the younger ones, but based off relationship status, I see as them try to appear cooler than the other ones. He's also one of the many cats crushing on Tricklestep (shown in previous post).

Splinterspeck He/Him (Top Right)-

Splinterspeck is one of the clan founders. He also has a weak leg from when he was almost carried off by an eagle but was luckily dropped. Most of the patrols he's on either end up with him recruiting a cat or chasing/attacking predators. He got his catmint accessory from a cat who is currently in the Dark Forest (I plan to draw him and the Starclan cats next btw). They also planned to visit Splinterspeck on the same moon he was caught in a twoleg trap so they may have caused that. He currently has an apprentice who is an emotional wreck at the moment. Along with that he another one of the cats crushing on Tricklestep and is extremely close with her so they probably have the best chances to become a future pairing.

Cavesong He/Him (Middle Left)-

Cavesong is Stemmouse and Fuzzyflick's first kits (cats mentioned in the other two posts) He got his moth wings from another warrior at his apprentice ceremony, where he chose to be a medicine cat. Said other cat is now mates with Stemmouse (sadly its not a polycule because Fuzzyflick died). He's generally popular among the clan with a lot of cats seen talking to him. However he does seem to neglect his duties a lot so that's a bit concerning.

Bisonstream He/Him (Middle Right)-

Bisonstream was originally from Ganderclan but joined as an apprentice. He's also very unlucky, getting greencough and getting attacked by an eagle on the same moon (which is where he got his scar from). He seems to get injured and sick a lot but bounces back pretty quickly. There's not too much too him other than that.

Logfruit She/Her (Bottom Left)-

Logfruit is one of Pebblestar and Leapflicker's kits (See first post on Echoclan for their lore) and is honestly a mess. Only a few moons into her apprenticeship her brother was murdered. She also saw it happen and the killer was her mentor. She kept quiet for a while, afraid of what would happen. Said mentor didn't know she saw and went on as normal. She picked the poppy flowers herself on the same moon Pebblestar was expecting kits so I imagine it might have been a celebratory thing. After a very long time, she did confide in her mother, who then exiled them. After that she's been having a better time and not much else has happened aside from some sickness.

Melon She/Her (Bottom Right)-

Melon was originally a rouge who joined the clan early on. She had a crush on Breezehorse(Previous post), or at least platonic interest in them, since very early on so they may have met before joining the clans. She got rejected by her then they became mates three moons later. She gained her neck scar from an eagle and tail scar from a fox. She's the last cat in the trio that likes impressing younger cats. She's generally pretty impulsive and reckless and gets hurt a lot. Also sidenote when I first created an actual system for deciding on fun little traits, Melon was the first to get one with the mustache.
