#his reaction videos are top notch

So.
I made this as a YT comment but felt that this would be more fitting here, since it doesn’t have too much to do with the actual video other than having someone react to an analog horror:
What if someone made an analog horror that also had a side channel reacting to it, but the reaction channel is also a part of the analog horror’s universe
It would be so cool if this was done and we wouldn’t be made aware of it until late in the story, but that there would be hints and casual comments that we took as jokes or references they made relating to the analog horror.
They could even have videos reacting to other analog stories to throw us off the trail
It would be glorious
#analog horror#I was watching EmortalMarcus btw#his reaction videos are top notch#I’m currently watching their VintageEight playlist#and just finished the Human Trials video#it was amazing#def recommend watching all of Human Trials#and the Oracle Project#which is its direct prequel and adds a lot of context that makes it better#though you can definitely watch it on its own and enjoy it#vintage eight

How it started How it's going
Episode 11 of Dungeon Meshi set a new bar of excellence for the show, knowing when to pile on the extravagant stylized action comedy, when to pull back and give you a breather, and when to lean into a more realistic style for chilling moments.
Key animators Kai Ikarashi and (his disciple who started rising through the TRIGGER ranks on Promare in 2019) Ichigo Kanno are at it again, really defining the style of the show in the action scenes with their similarly bombastic styles that throw character design consistency by the wayside in favor of stylized and appealing movement.
And while for the first time there's actually zero meshi in this episode, the equivalent of the cooking shots are these harrowing shots of the protagonists slicing and sifting through viscera for any remnants they can find of their dead friend.
Storyboards from horror/comedy legend Nobutoshi Ogura enhance the already bleak feeling of these panels from the manga. In the final panels of chapter 26, Ryoko Kui lets us sit in these three silent panels of Laios uncovering something before showing the whole cast's reaction as he does a sort of 'to be or not to be' pose with his beloved sister's skull.
Ogura treats the scene very similarly, but decides to simplify this final panel by turning it into a simple shot-reverse-shot. Laios stares into his sister's eyes and the empty eye sockets stare back.
The scope is narrowed to only Laios's emotional reaction - that's all that's needed in this moment, and this scene hits even harder because of it.
This entire episode was top-notch in terms of animation, without a single moment that feels unpolished.
There's so much more to talk about, and... I did that. I talked about it.
In this video here, where I broke down the entire episode! Check it out if you like watching a nasty little vermin analyze animation and how it impacts storytelling!

Watching Are You Sure?! EP 8 Finale
A reminder of how I do these reaction posts as I watch things. I just write my reactions and thoughts down literally they happen. Think more of a bullet point format. I'll include links when I can to videos, thanks to the people who twt who upload clips and to @dstdes for providing so many of my linked video clips. And at the end, I'll do a better wrap up of all my opinions. I hope everyone enjoyed the show, I can't believe it's over!!
JK turning on Korea's top hits on the radio and both their songs playing one after the other. They KNOW they are powerful. I like them seeing/hearing that evidence though first hand 🥰 Jikook can't be separated, even on the radio!*
JK mentioning the Park Jimin summoning spell 😭😂 lmfao I love it
"this is the boyfriend shot" Jimin says THREE TIMES IN A ROW. we get it, he said this is what it looks like to go out on a date with Jungkook. And Jimin is the one who gets to do that 😅😂🥰🥰🥰 goodness. What was that Jimin? Lol honestly though, it was a cute and cozy picture!
Did the head chef just gift them one of everything on the menu?! Lmao they have so much food!!
JK telling Jimin to basically just strip naked because he went to go undo his pants buckle because he was so full but it was already undone was such a wild statement and comment to make?? The fuck? Lmao and Jimin replying with a meme was hysterical. Joking yet blushing. Top notch 😂😂 loved it. Love them. We aren't even 20 minutes into the episode yet And that was so out of pocket 😂🤣
JK being so tickled over teasing Jimin and making him come back to the car to get him 🤣 they are so funny!
Jimin dancing SNTY 😍
Their giggles over the beds?? Lol it has to be because they saw photos originally and saw the staff had separated out the beds to be separate when they originally weren't and then still gave them matching PJs to wear 🤣🤣 idk why they would do that? Lol they aren't strangers to sharing a bed lol
Jungkook teasing Jimin over the scuzzi 😂😂
Jimin putting snowballs on his head while in the hottub lol the way JK watched him. Love 😍
Not rock paper scissors to have to lay down in the snow 🤣 Jimin forcing JK to follow through on the punishment he thought up 🤣🤣🤣 the way Jimin called him baby as JK gave him the biggest puppy eyes trying to get out of having to do it 🥺🥺🥺
Jimin just laying on the floor at the bottom of the stairs while JK has his snack. Lmfao the call and response singing they had is so cute and what a song choice! 😂 Jimin saying he likes randomly laying/sprawling/rolling on the floor at home too 😂
Them reacting to episode 1 of AYS was NOT on my bingo called but im so happy about it! The editors joking with them and their interaction with the staff made me so happy too! It was also really funny them admitting to having a hard time editing the show 😂
Their giggles heal something in my soul 🥰
And the way they are sitting so close and kept their feet touching almost the entire time?? 🥰🥰🥰
Jimin's head in JKs lap at some point while watching too. I love them
JK acting a fool in the kitchen while cooking to make Jimin laugh 🥰🥰🥰
Jimin calling JK " Honey" 🥺🥺🥺 he wanted to cheers their glasses, but he called him honey. Cute
Not them teasing each other over their snores and sleeping habits 😂
"Jimin doesn't like it when someone touches his head" JK says, while rubbing his head with Jimin unbothered. Lol Jimin will let that man do ANYTHING to him 😂 and idk if JK was trying to tease Jimin or us by flexing his privilege in our face. Probably both 😂
JK saying driving on smaller roads like this is romantic. Jimin saying "this is romance, this is youth, this is nice" 😭😭😭 fuck they are so cute
JK is flying from Japan to Korea and then basically straight back out to America for his schedule. And he choose to not drink, even though he really wanted to, because he wanted to drive Jimin to the airport, just them instead of depending on the staff to take them. Give them that extra alone time together. And he chose to fly to Korea with Jimin instead of giving himself an easier and more relaxing travel schedule with more rest by staying and flying to America from Japan instead. That is... It's really fucking special and sweet and says so much about how they love each other honestly.
Giving up his last beer of their trip, after being told to relax and not worry about it because he wanted to be the one to drive them, to have that time together, just them and a GoPro they had control over, and spending that extra travel time to be together when it made a much longer and harder few days for him? That's that persistent, dedicated, quiet yet impactful kinda love. Really said a lot without saying anything.
The tradition continues of JK filming their food before ending with a close up shot of Jimins face. love that is a constant here 🥰
"I'll make sure you have a safe journey" "it's an honor" just kill me now omfg 😭🥰😭
JK being salty that Jin didn't dream about him with Jimin in the military since they are going together 😂😂😂😂
Jikook talking about how these trips were some of the happiest moments ever. And the way they were feeling a little melancholy over the trip ending and things changing and losing this constant togetherness time they had to be free .. goodness. Enjoying the cool air while trying to feel better. Ugh, I love them. I love them so much and I love the way they love each other so much.
Talking about how they loved it so much in the ending interviews, how they were the best of times. JK softly rubbing Jimins nape and back in comfort too. I'm tearing up, damn
The way JK is looking at Jimin during that last interview outtakes. My goodness 😍 same way Jimin was looking at JK while he was driving 😍
Them ending the show by having us literally send them off to the military is cruel, omfg. I AM CRYING NOW, DAMN. "A letter from beyond" fuck you too editors 😭
Wrap up Thoughts:
I'm so sad this is over. My God. Minute of silence to mourn.
.
.
.
This was such a sweet and wholesome episode. It had teasing, it had bickering, it had pet names. It was domestic as heck. It was the perfect trip for them to end their "freedom" before military service. I would have loved more conversations about that, but I'm fairly content as it is too.
Again, so many cuts (not complaining, very normal) but my favorite was how Jimin went to go wake JK up and then it cut to them leaving. I hope they enjoyed their time cuddling and relaxing sans cameras and interruption 🥰 (my assumptions I guess, but wouldn't be far fetched)
Letting my delulu out when Jimin said he just lays wherever whenever all the time at home and me thinking about the the members teasing JK about all the random ass mattresses over his house 🤣 it's too keep them comfy no matter where they end up wanting to lay 🤣🤣 (just kidding, sort of lol)
The way Jikook play fight is so equal and cute and funny. They just shove the crap out of each other but never with an intention to hurt or be mean. And they both LOVE IT.
They trust each other, give weight to each other's words and have confidence in the others beliefs and thoughts like no one else. It's such a special bond, and I'm so so glad they opted to share this with us. I truly am so grateful. And grateful for y'all letting me share all my musings with you too. 💜
And we have to end this post with the way that Jikook were spotted in Sapporo driving in the car, Jimin being the passenger princess he was, alone with their GoPro's and giving major flirty energy. And the way the show just proved OP right too. Genuinely Jikook are so special and wonderful and amazing and I love them so much. And when they got home from this trip, the group live they did shortly after? They were sooooo touchy and snuggly!
Hope everyone is excited for the photobook and behinds as well. I unfortunately am horribly sad because I'm broke AF and cannot afford to buy it in my budget at the moment, but hopefully ARMYs will upload all the photos and upload the behinds for everyone too. I will share links if I find them.

- I also like to think that he has longer hair, just long enough to be put in a pony tail
- He mostly keeps his hair up
- Would probably dress more comfy if he's just relaxing at home
- Video game shirts, basketball shorts, sweatpants, PJ pants
- If he has to like actually get dressed for any reason he would just wear something comfortable but not exactly pajamas

- Loves brain rot
- In like an ironic way though
Romantic
- Let's you play with his hair
- Loves the feeling of your nails scratching his scalp

- LOVESSS taking naps with you
- Like genuinely adores it
- Also really likes nose kisses

- He's all yours
- ALSOOOO WOULD DEFINITELY WAKE YOU UP TO PLAY GAMES WITH YOU
- "Babe can we play Minecraft"
- "It's 3am, Ben"

- He would definitely do most of the hard work (cheat)
- Makes sure you have the best items in games
- Loves when you wrap around him
- Big fan of hugs, especially yours
- He loves how you feel and smell
- NOT IN A WEIRD WAY 😭
- He just really likes you
- Will absolutely flirt with you in the stupidest ways possible
- Tries to pay attention to you, but if he's distracted by a game, you'll lose his full attention for a couple of hours
- He will eventually remember that he has a partner and will go bother you
- HE LOVESSS TO ANNOY YOU
- Will poke you when he wants attention or needs something from you
- Has a shit eating grin on his face the whole time
- If you get upset at him he'll fake being overdramatically upset just to make you laugh
- Loves seeing you giggle, laugh, or smile
- He would definitely let you borrow his clothes
- He thinks you're the cutest thing ever in his clothes
- Looks forward to getting into bed with you and talking about a new game he started, his day, or just about anything
- He's sweet, but can also be a complete dick
- IN LIKE A JOKING WAY
- He wouldn't really be mean to you
- Just annoying
- He's secretly hoping you kiss him to shut him up
- Would buy you and him matching jewelry
- Your name in his phone would probably be "player 1"
- Or something cheesy like that
- He loves being cringey and cheesy with you
- He's just really comfortable around you and loves you
- Sometimes he might not know how to express it because of how extreme it feels
- But he does get the point across eventually
-------------------------------------------

If any BKDK (or any casual MHA fans) here enjoys watching anime reaction videos like me - I’m spreading the news that Youtuber @ Nicholas Light TV is starting My Hero Academia!
I’ve been a fan of his channel from his Attack on Titan reactions. I’ve seen people say he’s too hyperactive, but imo he’s actually a guy who’s super excited about everything and it doesn’t feel fake.
But the best part is his media critical thinking skills is top notch. The guy was a Gabi fan and enjoyed the (anime) AOT ending, he also recently started Naruto and loved it too, so that’s a guaranteed winner in my book!
Just look at his reaction to the first Deku vs Kacchan fight: he’s already got the romance pinned down from the bullying lol.
Like yeah he’s being 90% sarcastic but he actually gets it, unlike antis these days who would immediately scream “Abusive Proship!”
He says: Deku has a lot of love and admiration for Bakugou from his childhood, but he doesn’t accept that love!
He sees All Might’s interaction with BKDK and feels like he could be a father figure for Bakugou, just as much as for Deku!
(He also thinks Bakugou has parental issues or is fatherless lol, that’s the only thing he got wrong. He roasted Bakugou a lot in the early episodes, as expected, but even he says that he’s sure Bakugou will become one of his favorites in time.)
One Disclaimer! I am NOT claiming he is a BKDK shipper, in fact I hight doubt it since he’s a straightforward male anime fan. But it’s nice to hear some fresh, positive perspective instead of all the hate towards us. Look at the comments in the first episode and you’ll see commenters say that “MHA is good but the fandom is toxic.” Yeah, I’m so tired of hearing that shit.
Anyways, if you’re interested in an MHA rewatch, go watch Nick’s channel!
#my hero academia#MHA#bakudeku#bkdk#i can’t predict how his opinions will turn out though but I have hope in him so far!#i waited until ep 8 to share his channel haha#like to get the bkdk and AM relationship this early is impressive#go in without expectations and you won’t be disappointed

Ok…chapters 3 and 4 here….separating this out so it’s easier to read…but enjoy!! Yukimiya has me crying
3 - Talent:
Soccer’s fun! After Kenyu comes home from school, he takes his soccer to a nearby empty lot. There wasn’t a soccer club in his elementary school, and his friends were all too engrossed in video games, so he usually practiced dribbling on alone. The lot was a big rugged and uneven, scattered with pebbles and grass here and there. While it wasn’t an ideal place to play soccer, it was fun to dribble around the stones and dips, and Kenyu rather enjoyed the feeling of the ball sticking to his feet.
“Woof woof!” “Wah-?!”
One day, while practicing alone as usual, a large dog approached him. It was wearing a collar, and though it was large, it seemed to be friendly. It was hopping up and down, running circles around Kenyu. “Do you want the ball?”, Kenyu asks. He lightly passes the ball over, and the ecstatic dog hits it back with the tip of its nose. It continued to kick it forward, and once again started to skillfully dribble, much to Kenyu’s fascination. He chased after the dog, only for the dog’s owner, an elderly man, to approach. He called over his dog, whose name seemed to be Cannavaro, and apologized for the inconvenience. But Kenyu didn’t mind; Instead, he invited Cannavaro to continue playing. Cannavaro was a golden retriever. If he stood up fully on his hind legs, he’d surely be around Kenyu’s height. He was really cute when he was playing around with the ball. He had so much fun that he ran around playing ball with Cannavaro until dinner time.
“Let’s play again sometime!”
“Woof!”
That was Kenyu’s first 1-on-1. Every now and then, Cannavaro would come to the lot, and they’d play soccer again. As expected of a Golden retriever, his speed and reactions were both fast, he’d immediately snatch the ball from Kenyu. At first, he suffered utter defeat at the pass of Cannavaro, but as they continued playing everyday, he gradually got the hang of it. He learned to keep his touches narrow when he dribbled. If he made too wide of a movement, Cannavaro would pounce on the ball, so he needed to keep the ball at his feet at all times. He had to take small kick-like steps, keeping the ball trapped in between his feet. But Cannavaro was smart, he gradually began to read Kenyu’s movements, moving his body in the direction he wants to steal the ball from, successfully taking the ball. Truly clever. It seems like he’s reacting to how Kenyu aligns his center of gravity. Kenyu took advantage of that. He’d feint going right and then go left. And when he wanted to go right, he’d feint to the left first. When he successfully got past Cannavaro, he felt an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. He didn’t know what it was called at the time, but he had done a move very similar to drag scissors, a difficult feint technique, just by following what felt natural to his body. He got better at feints, and his steps became even narrower, his dribbling became top notch. With Cannavaro’s bottomless stamina, Kenyu gradually became tougher too.
“Today was Ken-chan’s win wasn’t it”, Cannavaro’s owner commented while spectating. “Ken-chan’s getting better and better.” Kenyu was elated at the older man’s compliments.
“Thank you! I want to become a pro soccer player in the future.” A pro soccer player, that was Kenyu’s innocent, childhood dream.
“That’s nice isn’t it. Ken-chan will become a pro soccer player and represent Japan on the national team. You’ll definitely become number 1.” The Japanese National team. The best in the world. The old man’s words had sparked excitement within Kenyu’s heart. He told the man he’d aim for number 1, and the man responded in kind. Seeing Kenyu so happy, the old man’s eyes crinkled to the max, narrowing as his smile pushed his cheeks up. The old man decided to mention that his own son had always played soccer and was now a soccer coach at a soccer school. He invited Kenyu to come to the school. Kenyu took up his offer with excitement. This marked another important “meeting” in his life. He got the name of the school from the man and immediately told his mom about it.
From the moment he entered the school, Kenyu’s talent had blossomed. The stamina and dribbling skills he had forged in his practice with Cannavaro, along with the athletic physique he was born with, and his one-track-mind stoicism. But above all, Kenyu was endowed with a strong sense of self confidence, believing in his self. Even though he was overflowing with self confidence, it wasn’t a childish sense of omnipotence that he felt. He’s happy when someone acknowledges him, a pure heart that responds to the trust of others. Becoming class president, being the anchor for the relay race, beginning soccer, they’re all a result of people looking out for him, helping him discover himself. The talents and parts of himself that even he wasn’t aware of. Thinking that people believe in things with their hearts, that was Kenyu’s honest thought process. Under his coach’s guidance and his rivalries with his teammates, Kenyu continued to level up his skills, establishing his position as a striker.
“Someday I’ll go pro. I’ll be on the Japanese national team and become the number one striker!”
Without a shadow of a doubt, that was Kenyu’s dream.
4: Straight and honest
By the time he entered middle school, Kenyu, who had been in the middle of his growth spurt period, continued to grow taller. But at the same rate he grew, the letters on the blackboard became increasingly hard to see. His eyesight had suddenly started to decline. He had to press his face up against his book to read it. Engrossed in his book, he subconsciously sat in a very hunched position. His mom would often warn him to sit up straight and keep the book farther from his face. The bookshelf in his room houses a variety of books including a series of biographies he has collected since he was a kid, classics like The Great Gatsby and The Catcher in the Rye, and manga magazines like Shounen Jump and Weekly Shounen Manga. Reading the series of biographies now has led Kenyu to make a new discovery. Beethoven, Galileo, Joan of Arc, Nobuguchi Hideyo. These people blessed with talent have had their fair share of tragic difficulties in their lives. The reality is that these amazing people, who had succeeded despite those difficulties, had already passed and no longer live on in our world. That unspeakably sad reality had hit him with a wave of sympathy. He so immersed himself in all 30 of those stories, but he wonders if rereading them was a mistake. Maybe it’s genetics, since both his parents also wear glasses, but he went and got a thorough eye exam. Although he was disappointed, there were pro soccer players who wear contacts too. After Kenyu got contacts, his eyes became less of a hindrance on his plays. It was like his eyes were good as new. He beyond surpassed the typical abilities for is grade level, practicing with a passion despite being gifted with such talent. His love for soccer was honest and pure. In his free time, he’d kick the ball on his own. While he was in elementary school, he’d play in the empty lot. But now, he often took to the streets and roads. On days off from practice, he’d carry his ball in one hand and head to the streets. He’d choose times where the streets had few people, dribbling around obstacles like curbs and fire hydrants. Like there was a rubber band attaching the two, the ball never left Kenyu’s feet. Even on a familiar street, there were always new meeting and sights to be had while playing street soccer; Kenyu loved it. He became attached to the stray cats and would come across unexpected scenery. As if it was asking him to follow it, a stray cat meowed at Kenyu while he was walking home. Intrigued by the cat, he followed it while dribbling along. Just up ahead on the street, cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Kenyu thought they were beautiful. He had always loved cherry blossoms, it had probably been ever since he saw the falling petals at his elementary school entrance ceremony, beautifully blooming and cleanly scattered about* He was immersed in that fragility, feeling the beauty and sadness of the cherry blossoms, he was lost in thought. He loved those moments. The wind blows gently, making the petals dance. With the stray cat, Kenyu could gaze at the cherry blossoms forever.
Then, one day, while Kenyu had been practicing street soccer as usual, he had heard a voice call out from one of the side streets. Curious, he slowed down his dribbling. When he took a look, there was a building under construction, with only its framework in place, with four middle school students standing around. In between them was another middle school student, curled on the ground with his head bowed. He was wearing the same middle school uniform as “Hey, did you bring the money as promised?” Thud. The boy with brown-dyed hair kicked the stomach of the boy on the floor, who let out a pained grunt. This is bad, they’re extorting him. The surrounding boys continued to harass him for money; they kept kicking his back. “Please stop already….I don’t have any money…” the boy responded in a broken voice.
“Well if you don’t have any you better make some! Get a part time job, steal some from your parents, or find a way to extort some!!”
“I can’t….I really can’t…” his voice trailed off, to which the bully responded with a an angry “Shut up!!”, only to resume kicking him. Kenyu contemplated what he should do. One moment he was thinking, and the next he was running over to them. “Die!!!”, yelled the bully, to which Kenyu interjected with a yell, telling them to cut it out. The brown haired bully had his foot up ready to kick the boy again when Kenyu’s soccer ball had smacked him. The bully huffed. The surprise attack had smacked him right in the nose. “What the hell are you doing?!” He yelled to Kenyu. In a burst of anger, Kenyu punched the bully in one blow. The only problem was that he had no plan from there. The blatant injustice has caused his body to move on its own, but honor student Kenyu had never once gotten into a physical fist fight. Oh…..shit…he thought to himself. Coming to his senses, his legs went stiff. “That hurt, you bastard!”, the bully said. He hit Kenyu back, and a radiating pain spread across his cheek; this was also the first time he had ever been hit. The group of bullies began commenting amongst themselves, questioning Kenyu’s audacity. Before he knew it, Kenyu got punched in the stomach, causing him to double over. The bully then raised his leg and ruthlessly kicked Kenyu in the face. Kenyu was relentlessly beaten without even being given the time to strike back. There’s no way he’d be able to win against those four; the taste of blood had started invading his mouth. While the boys spat condescending insults to him, Kenyu had regretted not calling the police first. “Toodles ~ Justice Hero” the bully called out with a guffaw, tossing his now empty wallet, from which they pilfered all his money, into his face. Kenyu let out a groan as the four bullies walked away, cackling at the situation. At some point, the previous boy they were bullying had disappeared, running away while they targeted Kenyu. Kenyu had been beaten and stolen from, yet that boy had disappeared without a single word of thanks to his savior. After all, Kenyu had gotten angered and attacked without thinking; he had brought this upon himself. He laughed to himself solemnly, “This is the worst. I’m an idiot….letting something like this happen…I’m really an idiot.” Remaining on the floor, Kenyu looked up at the sky and masochistically laughed at himself. “It hurts..” When he laughed, his kicked ribs and cut lips hurt like hell. While holding back tears, Kenyu continued to laugh.
The next day, Kenyu ended up going to school with his face swollen. As he passed through the school gates, his classmates stuck their heads out from the windows and called out to him. You’d think that an idol had come to visit with how much of an uproar they were causing. Some people were leaning their bodies out to wave at him too. Kenyu wondered what was going on. It wasn’t just his classmates, but somehow, it was like the entire student body had their eyes on him. No, it wasn’t just his imagination, they really were looking at him. He thought it might’ve been because his face was swollen, but quickly rejected that idea. Even people he didn’t know were making a commotion: “Hey, is that Yukimiya?” “He’s so cool!” What exactly was going on? Still just as clueless, he entered his classroom to be greeted by his classmates swarming around him.
“Yesterday, you saved the board chairman’s son!?” “Did you really take on four other dudes?” “You’re so freaking cool!” Somehow, news of yesterday’s event had spread like a wildfire. Someone’s eyes widened, announcing that Yukki’s story had been written about and posted on the school site’s bulletin. It seems that yesterday’s bully victim, who ran way without even a word, had reflected and decided to redeem his actions. Kenyu had already left the scene, but his optometrist registration card had fallen out of his wallet in the scuffle. The boy from yesterday thought he had seemed familiar, but he never thought his savior would’ve been the soccer ace of his school. The boy who was bowing his head, crouched on the floor yesterday had then gone to the school’s bulletin and written about the event. The comments on the bulletin all praised Kenyu, calling him an ally of justice and complimenting his humbleness. It’s not like he did it for get praised, but he was happy receiving those compliments. The pain in his body, how pathetic he felt, and his regrets all flew away in that instant. He was relived, the his decision to move to help that boy out wasn’t a mistake. He felt so pathetic that he wanted to cry yesterday, but somehow it felt like God had been looking out for him again. That wasn’t all though. The boy he saved was the school board’s chairman’s son. Kenyu’s actions had given him courage, and the boy finally confessed to his father the entirety of the situation he had been caught in. His father had immediately contacted the police, reporting the details extortion and bullying of the perpetrators, and they were thus dealt appropriate punishments. Regarding Kenyu, since they didn’t want to associate the sports club with this incident of violence, they did not thank Kenyu publicly, a proper thank you was prepared. When Kenyu became a third year, he had a wide range of high schools he was recommended to. Above all his grades were good, but he behaved well and his soccer talent was top notch too. He didn’t have to take any underhanded paths, he fit the criteria for a standard recommendation slot. But with mediation from the board’s chairman, Kenyu was emphasized as the top priority recommendation. Kenyu ended up choosing Miyazaki’s prestigious school, Soranin High School. As soon as he had been recommended to their soccer club, Kenyu was able to focus on practice without having to worry about taking exams. God had, once again, been looking after him.

Some Jkk are too scared to be serious, but this is how I felt ever since Jk went live and reacted to Jimin after he replied Me too on Jimin's miss you post. So one could say cool, he misses Jimin and he's promoting his solo work like a friend and bandmate would. HOWEVER, that is not what JK did. He turned it up a notch and PURPOSELY blushed, giggled, kicked his feet, stared with heart eyes, gushed and listened to love songs in between switching videos. This to me, is flat out OTT baiting if he doesn't feel some type of way about Jimin, cause he purposely acted that way knowing the camera was on him. I have had Jkk tell me its not baiting, right, if he's in love its not, but if not, to me it was suggestive in his actions, meant to get a reaction to him and Jimin and it worked and only he knows why. Even worse would be if he he's not queer but knows Jimin is and how Jimin use to feel about him and did that. I don't believe this though. I believe Jk is queer and I think the man is in love with jimin. That said, Locals were even talking about that live. Not to mention it dropped during Jk's CK clip/ambassador announcement. So they were trending with 250,000 or more tweets cause of that ad on top of his Jimin live. Ever since then I have been observing Jikook too and then JK kept coming on and doing it. Kept bringing up Jimin, even their past trip. I also look at the timing, when JK's new hang out buddy Tae was busy with his girlfriend Jennie everytime she came back from tour and Tae would go MIA. I just hope it wasn't a case of Jk just looking for company cause he was lonely cause he got ditched by his older bro for his girlfriend. TK would be hanging out while Jennie was gone, but then Jk would always show he was alone when Jennie came back. Maybe its why Jimin kept turning Jk down. Maybe he knew it. Who knows at this point. One thing I learned is Tae is proof you can bait fans into thinking you are dating your bandmate by being over the top clinging and namedropping every 5 seconds, while you have an entire secret girlfriend for 2 years no one knew about til a hacker got angry. Look at festa dinner. His clinginess to Jk had tkk declaring they were married and 3 days later he was caught with jennie in Jeju and confirmed by her leaked pics. A whole mess. I would have left town if I were a tkk and never looked back. What a slap in the mouth (deserved tho, they definitely deserved that slap to reality). I just don't ever want to see this with jikook and it turn out to be the case. I might throw up.
He's leading Jimin on??????
Funny how I used to think Jimin was the one leading him on 😂
"It's worse if he's not queer and he acts like that knowing hoe Jimin feels about him."
I think the same and actually used to say the same thing since day one of their ship inception but in reverse order I guess.
Can you DM me? I would like to go back and forth on this with you. I don't enjoy writing lengthy blogs at this point in my life.
Here's JKs profile
Shy teenage boy thrust into the midst of boys he older boys he respects and admires. He's still trying to figure out what romantic feelings are, what he finds attractive, sexually provocative, and what his sexuality is.
Here comes a hyung closer in age to him that looks- androgynous, is good with expressing himself, isn't shy to speak out and perform infront of everyone. At night he's nice to cozy up to and snuggle- and sometimes they do that naked.
It feels good but he's not sure what it is he's feeling. He just knows they spend a lot of late nights doing nothing in particular and he enjoys it. They have a lot in common, and he's emotionally supportive and creates space around him for him to be himself.
He's falling but he doesn't know it yet.
Then there's the hyung in particular, goofy as fuck messing with things he doesn't understand. He's tempting faith and he doesn't know it. Each time he pokes at this younger Maknae thinking he's in control he's not. Now he's acting a fool pretending he's on top of things. But when he pretends kisses him, he looses his balance. His heart is beating in his chest faster than he can handle.
But he's stubborn. He's not in love and it's not even a crush. Yet he can't stay away either. He can't stop. The teasing back and forth, the push and pull is getting to him. Now doesn't feel like joke when he's being teased back. Now it feels like micro rejection and he stuck wondering why this younger friend keeps pushing away. He wants to be close.
They both dancing around naked fires.
The little boy is getting a hang of it. He's sure he's not into girls. He's sure there's something between him and his beautiful hyung. He's recklessly falling and he's not afraid to fall. He's ready to quit. He can be a dancer. He doesn't have to sing. He doesn't have to be in a band. He doesn't have to hide who he is.
The hyung on the other hand, this his dream. He's worked hard to be here. He works even harder than any one else just to be on the team. He can't risk it. He's not impulsive, he's not young and stupid. He's a hyung. People have expectations of him and he can't let any one down.
He writes it on his ribs- nevermind. But it's easier said than than. He's falling and this is the moment of his youth. It's epic. But he's worried the curtains will eventually fall and they'd have to face reality.
To the best of my knowledge this is Jikook.
Do you see where in this narrative of mine Jungkook is the one stringing Jimin along??
It's always been Jimin with the ball in his court really😩
I'm gonna shed a few tears, I'll come back and read the rest of your post- can you break it into two asks so it's easier for me to respond to the 2nd part separately?

Y'all Redacted is starting off STRONG this Halloweek. Huge spoilers for Ivan's video under the cut, and heavy trigger warnings.
NGL, my first thought when I saw the background photo with the mirror shard and Ivan's immediate fear was that Baby tried the only method of escape they had left. I wouldn't blame them for it one bit, either.
The way he reassures himself that Baby can't have escaped is so terrifying. So long as he has them contained, he can find and deal with them. His gaslighting is top notch; breaking the glass, how angry he sounds when he does, and how he twists his reactions and justifies it later as being "clumsy". The heartbeat was so good and immersive, the way he described the physical reactions of anxiety. Turning their fear of Ivan, twisting and blaming Baby themselves for it. The power move, the way he made them walk over broken glass as punishment for their transgressions. Why would he bother to give them shoes when they never go outside?
The very careful way he uses "I", "you", and "we/us", making sure to make it very clear where the blame lies and contrasting his broken idea of reality with how he's constructed their relationship in his head is amazingly terrifying. The way Ivan pretends like this is normal, this idealized version he has in his head that he compares with the example his parents set for him, even as he uses guilt as a weapon to manipulate and threaten Baby into compliance.
The fact that he compliments Baby, the way he describes their relationship with such effusive, glowing praise is almost scarier than if he had just taken his anger out on them. I just know that there's no arguing with him that you're not as perfect and selfless and beautiful like he claims. There's no way to break through his delusions (and oh, is that going to be the running theme for this week? Twice is a coincidence, 3 times is a pattern. I guess we'll see tomorrow), any sort of verbal fight is just going to make things worse, to make him double down or push back. Pretending like they have any sort of choice in how they react to his "love", his "care" that they "deserve", like if he says the pretty words enough times it'll make it true.
He's so messed up and terrifying. I missed having his character around, there's something so delightfully disturbing about the whole fucked up situation. It's nightmare fuel, and like a car crash you just can't look away. Makes my IRL problems look tame in comparison.

I think you've come from other social media platforms where the crazy SnC fangirls ate you alive for your opinion, was it the Twitter crowd? or the tiktok crowd? I find their usually the most aggressive in their defences of their heroes. Reason I say this is you seem very aggressive and defensive in all your responses which suggests you've been attacked a lot, either that or you yourself are very young and reactive when people challenge your opinion. Plus you keep saying you don't care for other peoples responses yet the fact you respond to them all in a very aggressive manner suggests you do in fact care maybe far more than you'd like to say. Anyway, despite the fact you'll probably give me an aggressive response (if you choose to respond at all) I've a response to your accusations.
I really do not think SnC are involved in the scam, I fully believe they have been duped and used. Reasons? well we'll start small, reason one is because their reactions were very genuine and as much as I love them I'm gonna say they aren't that good actors. If they were in on it the whole time they need to be given an oscar for their top notch performance there.
But the bigger point number two is if you were right and they are in on it, they are risking their entire careers, the minute it's proven and it will be proven one way or the other eventually that's their whole life on the line (because the truth always comes out)
if it's proven to be fake and they were in on it that's their whole career and money gone, they are still young at 26 (that's still practically babies career wise) and they have long careers ahead of them, so it's highly unlikely they would do something that would destroy their credibility and any chance of continuing their career.
Point number 3, their families would not be OK with either Sam or Colby using their dead relatives for clout. Colby's entire family is very private and despise the camera, they're also highly religious. If Colby were in on the scam he'd probably be risking his relationship with his entire family as they would absolutely not be OK with using their dead family members for clout and considering how close he is with them (especially his mother) I do not see him doing that.
Sam's family though more open to being on camera are also fairly private and I cannot see his respectable parents or even his siblings being OK with them using their precious grandmother for clout, he'd also probably be risking his family relationships and I don't see him doing that considering how close he is with them.
Point number 4, I do not believe they would invite people to try and debunk the method if they knew 100 percent that it was fake. That would be a career destroying move to make as it would eventually come out and as mentioned earlier, completely destroy their credibility, removing all future opportunities and rendering them has beens with no future. They are not stupid, they've been in the media game for years, they would know that if they did this they can effectively say bye bye to their careers so they would not make that move.
Also people aren't being silenced, there are debates on this very topic literally across all social media atm and time and time again it's pointed out that any deleted comments are the algorithms on these sites removing suspicious messages (mostly any messages with links) or suspicious words. (or even reported by other members on these sites)
Sam and Colby are barely online on any social media these days as well so do you really think they have the time or desire to scroll through 1000's of comments erasing people? They've both even said they don't read the comments on their SnC Youtube anymore cos they can't handle it. Yes they might have a team member scrolling through and erasing the most negative comments, but every youtube channel deletes that because too much negativity on a video causes 'down votes' which can lead to a video being taken down or to be demonetised.
But if you scroll through their youtube comments section (I just did right now) there are replies on both sides debating the method on every single video. So no one's being silenced, the comments being erased either took it too far (likely got overly aggressive or offensive kinda like you in your responses to people) or fell into the Youtube algorithms trap.
Anyway, this became kinda long and I'm sorry about that but that's my 2 cents to the debate you said you did not want but seem intent on having with people since you keep responding, lol. So if you are down to debate, respond, if not don't. But if you keep making comments on a public forum don't be surprised when people engage you. Especially here. If you don't want to debate (or argue, a lot of the fandom are minors and will come pick a fight just cos you insult their babies), maybe don't tag the fandom in your posts.
I don't use twitter, tiktok, instagram so no, and I'm more than likely older than you.
I'm not surprised people are engaging, I'm surprised they're intentionally blind in my opinion. No one forbids you to say your peace and engage here. I'm just saying I'm not bothered by what people label me as and what they think of me, which keeps getting brought up. I don't know why is that such a hard concept to grasp, not giving value to random internet strangers' opinions of you. Anon asked for evidence didn't they? Based on evidence so far, I think things are fishy, i explained why and that's it.
Career destroying move would be to out the power couple as even possible frauds given Satori's connections in the community through her dad. SnC can't come out with that because it would ruin them.
If I come off aggressive, remember I'm not the one anonymously calling others "fucking idiotic".
I'm more than happy to be proven wrong and have Cody and Satori turn out to be legit, decent people doing good things and getting exposure for right reasons.
#but also#yt comments are 98% “i dont claim any negative energy” are you fucking kidding me#sam and colby#i will put tags to my fancy#don't even try to police that it's not up to you

Day One Hundred Two
It’s gray and cold, and my asthma was acting up this morning, so I decided my outfit had to have some color; I grabbed one of my cute floral tops- pinks, reds, marigold yellows- and a dark red cardigan to pair with a skirt and leggings. The girls in World said they really liked the look, so yay for that.
We discussed the research they’d done yesterday, and then I told them we were going to take research and citation up a notch by doing current events write-ups. I went over the instructions and the rubric, showed an example of a finished one from last semester, and gave them the remainder of class to start working. They’ll have time tomorrow, as well, and the write-ups will be due on Friday. The. variety of events they’re writing about is really fascinating, as is how much they want to share their work with me as I walk around. I stopped to get an education in motorsports from one boy (writing about a driver who recently died in a snowmobiling accident), who then asked if he could show me a video of one of his own races before returning to work.
I said absolutely. Making those connections is so important.
Flex block, which happens between my two sections of World, was all about APGOV test review. Most of my current students, plus some of the former ones, came by to play a couple rounds of Kahoot. They took the test Block 4, and most of them absolutely smashed it. The funniest thing was that I have a student who insists GOV is more difficult than calculus (I disagree, heh, but we all have different strengths, of course), and he did really well, so his reaction to getting his grade was a very loud, “OH!” He’s usually quiet, so everyone chuckled a bit at that.
Also, yes, I did grade the tests before the bell. It’s a short test, a small class, and I’m unnaturally quick. The students who never had me as a teacher before didn’t believe I was that quick, so I gave them a joking, “Told ya so.”
After that, I went to track practice to put the 14 sprinters headed to States through a stair workout, followed by block starts and baton passes. We finished up with core and stretching, and then The Head Coach’s wife brought everyone “fruit pizza,” which is a giant sugar cookie with cream cheese frosting, blueberries, and strawberries. It’s delicious, and a sweet (pun intended) way to end the day!

Prime Video's Fallout: A Devoted Masterpiece [Review]
Fallout on Prime Video is a thrilling and devoted series, taking viewers on a unique journey unlike any other. Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, and many others make up the talented cast for this season. The series comes from Kilter Films and executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Christopher Nolan directed the first three episodes. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, writers, and co-showrunners. All eight episodes of Fallout season one will be available to watch today, April 10th at 6 p.m. PT on Prime Video.
Credit: Prime Video Purnell is Lucy, an optimistic Vault-dweller with an all-American can-do spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when she is forced to the surface to rescue her father. Moten is Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the militaristic faction called Brotherhood of Steel. He will do anything to further the Brotherhood’s goals of bringing law and order to the wasteland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-mugKDQDlg Goggins is the Ghoul, a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who holds within him a 200-year history of the post-nuclear world. These disparate parties collide when chasing an artifact from an enigmatic researcher that has the potential to radically change the power dynamic in this world.
Fallout Brings the Wasteland to Prime Video
The masterful storytelling in Fallout is brought to life by its exceptional design, character development, and cast. The first season of the series perfectly captures the oppressive nature of the vaults, but as the story progresses, the exclusivity of these shelters becomes less relevant. The show's quality is a testament to the top-notch writing and direction, as I found myself eagerly watching episode after episode until I was exhausted.
Ella Purnell (Lucy), Credit: Prime Video I’ve played the games and have loved the franchise for years now. The eight episodes maintain the dichotomy between civilization and the uncivilized. Each character receives a unique direction for development. Lucy's changing beliefs as she grows some resistance to surface-dwellers is similar to chugging some Rad-X before entering the Glowing Sea.
Moisés Aria, Credit: JoJo Whilden/Prime Video A poignant exploration of morals and ethics was woven throughout the episodes, impacting each character. I didn’t think I would become so engrossed by the experiences of these characters but I did. Amidst all the anger in the Wasteland, Lucy maintains a strong sense of hope. Meanwhile, her brother Norm becomes increasingly uneasy and angry amid Vault-led perfection. Decay and growth go hand-in-hand in this series both physically and emotionally.
Walton Goggins (The Ghoul), Credit: Prime Video Fallout put together a stellar cast that brought out the camp, comedy, and gut-wrenching drama in each episode. Goggins stepped into two roles that saw life before the bombs fell and centuries later in a radiated wasteland. The character of Ghoul, portrayed by Cooper Howard, serves as a representation of how the pursuit of capitalist success and greed can negatively impact the lives of those in its way. Although the first episode only reveals a glimpse of his life, I believe that his story leading up to the bomb deserves more attention in subsequent seasons.
Aaron Moten (Maximus), Credit: Prime Video The characters of Lucy and Maximus are both naive in different ways. Lucy's ever-changing ideology challenges Maximus, and their growth helps them approach the season's climax. The characters' unique traits shape their reactions to life's darkly comedic events and gut-punches. One person in the cast who surprised me right out of the gate was Moises Arias who played Lucy’s brother. Norm. He does an excellent job at navigating the want for clarity and the fear of what he could find.
Ella Purnell as Lucy, Credit: JoJo Whilden/Prime Just because you might assume what Lucy's journey or character development might look like, it doesn't make it any less impactful. While I could make predictions about how she may or may not change throughout the season, Purnell's portrayal of the character deeply resonated with me. I didn’t expect to care so much for her character or begin to see through her lens as if the series' gameplay was right in front of me.
Ella Purnell (Lucy), Credit: JoJo Whilden/Prime Individual and collective exploration of the buildings and abandoned wasteland of California revealed how much the buildings of Fallout have their unique voices in the season. The end credits and the starting logo in each episode reflected a theme and a setting that connected perfectly to the characters and storyline. In a similar vein, the characters discuss and dwell on the reality that they become products and establishments of what they believe while navigating the wasteland.
Walton Goggins (The Ghoul), Credit: JoJo Whilden/Prime The fans of the game series are always intrigued by the mysterious elements present in them. As we delve deeper into the backstories and settings of the characters, we come to realize that there's a lot of money to be made in the post-apocalyptic world. The phrase "war never changes" is commonly heard in Fallout 4 and other games, and, indeed, the effects of capitalism can still be seen in the wasteland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iZl7Ncyyhg The ProSnap camera, the Nuka Colas, the absurd Vault-Tec posters, and so much more are expertly designed for this series. The attention to detail is astounding and the music perfectly encapsulates the rollercoaster of emotions present in the games and this season’s journey. As an artist, I immediately loved the color scheme and tone used throughout the episodes. The visual illusion of joy inherent in an environment like Vault 33 matches up against the parallels of the Wasteland. The foley, music, and sound mixing echo the brutality and idyllic mid-century modern aesthetic of Fallout.
Ella Purnell, Michael Emerson, Dale Dickey, Credit: JoJo Whilden/Prime Video The creative team did an excellent job. They designed an alliance between the decrepit visuals of a post-apocalyptic world and the odd surge of hope present in the capitalist structures in advertisements and art of the past. Stimpacks, Jet, the town of Filly, and pretty much everything else (even the homes crumbling and filled at 90-degree angles with sand) were nearly flawless.
Brotherhood of Steel, Credit: JoJo Whilden/Prime Even large-scale pieces of factions, such as the Power Armor or Vertibirds used by the Brotherhood of Steel, were shown careful attention. At times it felt like I was playing the game itself when watching, just a pure love and dedication to Fallout could be felt in every moment. Certain lore is expanded upon for the smaller things (creatures, survival, and more). It’s so obvious that this is a loved project.
Power Suit, Credit: Prime Video Items like the Pip-Boy didn’t feel overused but instead, it often helped guide the story and Lucy without becoming more of a symbol to overshadow the series. The gore and bloody action are perfect for Fallout and trust me you get all the grotesque and absurd violence one loves from the games.
Moisés Arias, Dave Register, Credit: JoJo Whilden/Prime Any rare complaints from the season would relate to minor design flaws. Anything I found an issue with appeared more in the first episode. The appearance of some of the Brotherhood of Steel felt too theatric at times when it came to stunts. Otherwise, the faction itself had an excellent representation of eerie fascist & fundamentalist ideology in the season. https://twitter.com/falloutonprime/status/1777893465957061073 There were a few minor issues with the visuals in the show. For example, Brahmin and other animals did not look as if they were decrepit or diseased enough for the post-apocalyptic setting. Sometimes, even sick animals appeared healthy, but fortunately, this improved as the episodes progressed. It would have been great to see a greater variety of characters, but the mere suggestion of their existence gave hope for their appearance in a future season.
Ella Purnell (Lucy), Kyle MacLachlan (Overseer Hank), Credit: Prime Video Fallout does an excellent job of capturing the essence of the game's universe and presents a captivating story that spans eight episodes. The show effectively portrays the cyclical nature of trauma and how individuals find ways to survive even in the most hopeless situations. The full force of the mystery loved by Fallout fans is brought out. Details are woven in, which pick up on questions and answers being asked. I loved every moment of this season and I hope more seasons are headed our way! You can watch all eight episodes of Fallout on Prime Video starting today at 6 PM PT.

Pod-Alization: Trevor Noah Podcast Debuts; Who Killed JFK?
Who Killed JFK? podcast debuts on iHeart Conspiracy theories have been around since the days when Egyptian Pharaohs and Roman Emperors dropped dead suddenly and mysteriously. In today's world, social media has amped up the distribution of all kinds of crazy conspiracy theories. You can thank Fox News for being the legitimizer of such crackpot-ness.
Perhaps, the genesis of the modern American conspiracy theory is the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Novwember 22, 1963.
Was it the mob? Castro? The Russians? I'm sure Trump would find a way to blame Barack Obama for this event.
This new podcast from iHeart has names of distinction and lifelong commitment to excellence associated with the show -- Soledad O'Brien and Rob Reiner.
Who Killed JFK? takes us back 60 years ago to one of the most tragic moments of the 20th century, when questions still surround the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Join award-winning journalist Soledad O'Brien and beloved filmmaker Rob Reiner on Wednesdays as they team up to discover the truth behind the assassination, revealing how the ramifications of the 1963 tragedy still impact American society today. *************************************************************
Trevor Noah podcast debuts There's a new maxim in media. Those who don't want to do TV anymore, do podcasts. See Conan O'Brien, Dax Sheppard, Joe Rogan, et al.
Spotify likes to throw around the phrase "highly anticipated" a lot when referring to its original podcast releases.
But its original podcast What Now? with Trevor Noah, which launched on Thursday, November 9, is actually "highly anticipated."
To Noah's credit, he begins with a top-shelf guest who is a notch above the typical celebrity babblefest on audio or video talk shows.
This first episode features a conversation with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
According to Spotify, "What Now? with Trevor Noah is a show wherein each episode Trevor will go deep with a special guest, including entertainers, CEOs, actors, athletes, and thought leaders. These are the kind of conversations that happen behind the scenes, full of radical candor, authentic back-and-forths, and honest reactions, with Trevor bringing to bear his classic, effortlessly playful and equally probing style.
On the first episode of What Now?, Trevor Noah and Dwayne Johnson get real — discussing everything from Dwayne's troubled youth and his lifelong struggles with depression, to Dwayne listening, understanding and responding to public feedback surrounding the launch of his fund following the Maui fires, and whether he'd ever consider running for President of the United States.
The video episode is available exclusively on Spotify, with audio episodes available wherever you get your podcasts. New episodes will publish weekly every Thursday.
Some highlights in the video episode include:
Trevor On Having a Spirited Conversation (1:00)
Trevor: “If there's one thing I've always loved, it's having a spirited conversation. I've always loved how the words coming out of another person's mouth can change how the mush in your brain processes or sees the world that it's seen a certain way for such a long time. It feels like these days, though. We might be losing that ability. Oh, it's become a little bit harder. You know. A few days ago, I was. I was at an event and. People were having really interesting and dynamic conversations, conversations about really difficult topics… men, women, young and old alike. And every few minutes somebody would start their opinion with the phrase. Now, I would never say this in public, but. Or, I would never say this if I was being recorded, but. And I found that fascinating. So many of us have opinions and ideas about the world that we live in. That we are either unable or unwilling. Or too scared to share. And I thought to myself. If we cannot have conversations about difficult things, if the conversations themselves are now the difficult things, then what hope do we have of fixing the difficult things? You know, I almost think of it like a minefield. One of the most dangerous places you can ever walk into is a minefield. Because you do not know. Where they are. You do not know when your last step may be. All you know is at any moment, something could blow up. But the danger comes when you step into the minefield. Imagine if discussing how to navigate the minefield was as dangerous as the minefield itself. That's what I feel like we're living in now.”
The Rock On His Connection to His Culture (13:33)
“At a very early age from my mom and my dad, it was always ‘what you are is perfect’ and ‘what you are is cool.’ Black culture, Samoan culture. We come from a world of pro wrestling. And at that time, Trevor, if you think about it, pro wrestling was nowhere near the global juggernaut that it is today. And it was, it was a very small subculture. So be proud of everything that you are out of the gate, It was always ‘be proud’… It's a cool thing. And I got to tell you, as you go down the road of life, you start to realize just how special culture is, how special all of our culture is.”
The Rock On Why He Wanted to Be A Wrestler (17:32)
“Not only did I grow up in it… but man, I loved it. I loved wrestling. I love the antics of it. I love the characters of it. And especially at that time, you know, when you grow up in the 80s, wrestling back then was a whole different, I think, unique experience in that a lot of people bought into it and they felt like it was real and they'd have these local stars every week and they'd be on their television sets, just their local TVs, and they would talk down the lens about what they're going to do to their opponent this Saturday night at whatever little arena they're wrestling in. I loved all that, and I had a front-row seat watching my dad and my grandfather and everybody in my family live their passions and it's what they, I believe, were all born to do… And so. I think the yearning of it, it started to happen for me when, to be honest, when we were evicted out of Hawaii. So we were living in a little apartment. We were evicted when I was 13 or 14 years old. And I remember in that moment I never wanted to feel that again. I was with my mom and we came home and there was a padlock or there was a notice… I remember just her and I were standing there. She was crying. She didn't know what to do. And my dad was wrestling in Tennessee at that time. And I remember then thinking, I never want to experience this again and what can I do to change it? What can I do? Like, what can I do with my own two hands on 14 so I can't do shit, right?… So I remember at that time thinking, well, all the heroes in my life are these guys. These guys who are, they’re big, they’re strong. They're pro wrestlers. I bet you if I built my body and if I went to the gym, then I could change the scenario. So from that moment, I think that is the defining moment.”
The Rock On Starting the People’s Fund of Maui and Reacting To The Initial Backlash (22:32)
Trevor: “…you know, when you feel like you've missed a news cycle, like The Rock and Oprah under fire. But for what? And people were like, Oh, you're the problem. And how dare you? And why would you? And I was like, Man, our whole lives, people have asked people to join into a worthy cause. When did this become a criticism or a fight? And I would love to know how you process that.”
The Rock: “I woke up the next morning wondering the same thing. Thinking. What? What happened? Did I miss something? So it took me a couple of weeks to really process that. And I felt like that moment was a pivotal moment for me in my life for a few reasons. Number one, I want to go back to the brass tacks of it and the whole idea of creating this fund, the People's Fund of Maui, is to help people and help survive and thrive. These are my people. These are my Polynesian people. My Hawaiian Kanaka Ohana. My grandparents. They're all buried in the islands, you know, So it meant so much to me. And I know it meant so much to our people, Right. That we were able to come together and create this fund. Over 8000 survivors, by the way we're helping right now. It's really beautiful. But what's interesting is when all that started to happen and the backlash started to happen and it started to come our way. So I always feel like in moments like that, it's important. Not to get caught up in it. It's important just to pause. Let's be prudent. Let's pause. But let me just wait and see. And. I felt like my gut said it's going to take a couple of weeks, but let me really take a look at it. I don't want to respond to it right now. Yeah, let's stay focused on the mission. And the mission is to help the survivors right now who have nothing. And they are devastated. And so let's continue to stand the fund up on its feet. But at the same time, I want to pay attention to this. And it really tested my ability to separate noise from criticism that was really worthy of my attention in this case and this noise. And at first it was a wave of noise. Okay, how dare you ask us for money? And I thought the same thing you did was right. Whatever you can give, if you want to give a prayer. Great. A buck, seven bucks, or nothing. So there was the noise that started to feel like it was political noise. Then it started to feel like it was. It just started to feel really noisy. And I wanted to make sure that we just paused and I was just waiting for. Well, where's the criticism here that is worthy of my attention? That really makes sense. And then, Ah, that's it. This is what I feel I got. And it took me weeks before I figured this out. And I had a I just had a moment one night, and I think I was as I usually do, I was having a drink, drink off and clear my mind and clear all this shit up in my head. And once all that left, I thought, Ah, that's it. And I saw someone had posted something and it was something to the effect of basically don't pay attention to these guys and all this other bullshit that they're saying. However, you're one of us. And when I read You're one of us was the thing that made me go. Got it. Went back to when I was in Hawaii. When I got evicted, we had nothing. I was a troubled kid. I got arrested like you. I mean, you know, we both were troubled kids, arrested multiple times. I was always pissed that we were broke. There's a difference between being poor and then being broke. And I was pissed. I was always angry, getting in fights, getting in trouble. And the last thing I realized in that moment, the last thing that I wanted to hear was somebody asked me for money. Especially if the dude who I like, right, is asking me for money, and he already has money, and I get it. And a lot of times when you're in that situation, I've been there when you are living paycheck to paycheck. You're in it. Yeah. And you're not necessarily vibrating, you know, at a certain level and you're in it. So I came out of that and then I went, That's right. I got it. Now I understand. And you know what? Last thing you wanted was to hear people ask for money regardless of the situation.”
Trevor On The Power of Global Connection (51:57)
Trevor: “I mean, we were doing your moves in the gym at school. We had detention, and we had this like giant room where you would just get locked in and was like, that's your detention. It was like a gym, really, but it was a massive gym and we would put out all these mats. And would be like alright we’re practicing The Rock’s moves. Let's go and everyone would get in there and I'm talking like almost two stories high and we'd climb up on the railing. That's just a cage match. And you'd grab someone. You know what I mean?… Think about that connection. Think about how far that was. Think about how far you were from me in South Africa. Think about how far I was from you in the United States. And yet in that moment, we were connected.”

5 Essential Coping Skills for Dealing with Anxiety, Backed by a Psychiatrist
Anxiety is a normal emotion that everyone experiences at some point in their life. It can be triggered by stressful situations, such as taking an exam or giving a presentation. But for some people, anxiety becomes more than just an occasional feeling and can become overwhelming and interfere with daily life. For these individuals, it's important to develop effective coping skills to manage the symptoms of anxiety. Here are 5 essential coping skills for dealing with anxiety backed by Psychiatrist in Bhopal:
1) Deep Breathing: Taking slow deep breaths has been proven to reduce stress levels quickly and effectively when done correctly. This technique helps you focus on your breathing rather than on your anxious thoughts which allow you to calm down faster while also increasing oxygen intake into the body which helps reduce tension throughout the body as well as relax muscles.
2) Exercise: Regular physical activity not only releases endorphins (the feel-good hormones) but also increases blood flow throughout your entire body including areas that have been tense due to stress or worry thus relieving those feelings of unease from them. Additionally, exercise has long-term benefits such as boosting immunity against illnesses like colds & flu so it's beneficial even if one does not suffer from any form of mental illness!

3) Mental Distraction: When feeling overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, try engaging yourself in activities like playing video games, listening to music, etc. These activities provide temporary relief from negative thinking patterns & help us stay away from ruminating over issues we cannot control easily thereby reducing our overall level of distress significantly!
4) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT focuses on changing how we think about certain situations so that our reactions will be different too! By recognizing irrational thought patterns & challenging them through evidence-based methods this therapy aims at helping individuals gain mastery over their emotions instead of letting them take charge of themselves!
5) Meditation: Meditation is one way many people choose when they want peace within themselves without having any outside distractions influencing it negatively! It involves focusing solely on oneself without judgement allowing us time out for ourselves where we don't get distracted no matter what happens around us leading towards inner peace eventually!
All these techniques have been proven helpful under guidance provided by a psychiatrist in Bhopal who specializes specifically in working with patients suffering from mental health disorders like Anxiety Disorders etc. With practice however, anyone can learn how best to utilize each skill depending upon his/her own individual needs making sure he/she feels.
