When I was dying of an ear infection back in December, I had the most vivid dream of Morpheus from The Sandman sitting at the foot of my bed telling me that my life was one of his tools that he needed back. In exchange for my life, Morpheus promised me he would go back in time to stop me from making a mistake that I wished I hadn't done.

I chose working on this fucking thing.

Don't get me wrong, Tsunaida had the best plot out of the series and all of Yoshio Akira's works. I'd even go as far as saying it's one of the best releases of its time—it was nominated for Best Series in the 2021 chilchil awards for a reason (it was robbed, I tell you). It's just my life has gone downhill since I picked this up. HAHAHAHAHA Not to mention, older Chesk was bad and cringe. I'm sorry for arguing with you over this series, Kimmy. It wasn't worth it.

This series is still ongoing, only god knows why. I got so sick of it to the point that I started hating Yoshio Akira and forgetting all about the plot, so I didn't expect myself to cry during the climax HAHAHAHAHAHA FUCK WHY WAS THIS STILL SO GOOD???? I'M ANNOYED I still hate it tho

I forgot just how painful this was. I'm at this point in my life where if that would happen to me, I would just LEAVE.

Anyway, onto the topic of the BLCD...

I didn't think it was going to be possible, but Shingaki really changed his Hara-san tone!!! Thank god! This is it! This was exactly the tone I envisioned his Hara-san would be in! I'm not sure if it's 'cause everyone from the producers (except the director) and the sound team was changed, but Tsunaida and Kanawanu are worlds apart. I usually dislike inconsistencies in series with multiple installments, but I'll let this slide. Let's all just pretend that Kanawanu doesn't exist.😌

Egu also went a pitch higher in this. It's still far from what I wanted for Kaoru, but he was able to make the role his own. I'm not sure if it's because of the change in the mixing, but Egu finally sounds like he was recording with everyone here. I said in my review for Kanawanu that he wasn't syncing with his own brother, Kakeru, and it turns out that Egu actually was voicing Kakeru too lmao. How can you not sync with yourself, man? But that just means that the mixing for Kanawanu was that bad. I haven't listened to Tabete mo Oishikuarimasen yet, but I feel like Egu and Shingaki should've been nominated for Tsunaida. I mean, Shingaki is a queen as Yashiro and his nomination is deserved, but let's all put those older series to rest now. 😂

I also missed Nakajiki as Keiji-san!!! He promised to bring Hiro along next time, so if I'm not hearing Saitou Souma in Musunda, I will riot! No, I didn't check the cast list.

The BLCD is pretty accurate to the manga, save for that extra bathroom sex in Track 2. It's quite long, but there isn't any complex dialogue, so I suggest just closing your eyes and absorbing the bathroom bambo. 😌 I actually wished it was longer toward the ending chapter because I felt that it was rushed in the manga, but alas. I've read Renta's license, and it's accurate as well. In conclusion, get this if you like the series. 100% recommend!

Ok so I have reopened the anime feels I thought I had bottled away

No series specifically, just..

Voice actors.

I love voice actors so much.

I don't do it myself, though I do end up imitating characters kind of accidentally sometimes lol. The line just.. comes out?

Anyway, there are great English and Finnish speaking VAs of course (Stephen Merchant, Vic Micnogna, Jon-Jon Geitel, Petrus Kähkönen, Jari Salo to name a few)

But Japanese VAs aka seiyuus?

They hit so different.

Nobuhiko Okamoto's voice is literally perfect and so cool and his range is crazy. He goes from crazy mad characters like BNHA's Bakugo to super sweet and timid like Sengoku from Horimiya. (His confession scene literally destroyed me, DANG was he adorable. Started this whole mess too, btw.)

Jun Fukuyama causes me to swoon every time he opens his mouth, and I might have to watch Assassination Classroom just because these two are in it. This guy also has a crazy range, going from selfish and arrogant rich dudes to normal shy and soff guys <33 (Prince Raj from Akagami no Shirayukihime vs a fairly normal main character Takanashi in Working!!)

Ishikawa Kaito, the voice of my dear little blueberry man aka Kageyama from Haikyuu!!, I love him so much. He does the 'cool guy who is actually a dork' so well. Also the super epic Genos from One Punch Man. Gahh.

Yuki Kaji? Does super calm roles like Kenma from Haikyuu!! but amazing tsundere roles as well like Nishikata from Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san. Love his voice too.

Tetsuya Kakihara? Mamoru Miyano? Miyu Irino? Daisuke Ono? (Silver the Hedgehog's Japanese VA btw, so surreal, he's nothing like the English voice) Yuuichi Nakamura? Tatsuhisa Suzuki? Nobunaga Shimazaki? Saitou Souma? Uchiyama Kouki? Hiro Shimono?

I love the Japanese Sonic cast as well. Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles and Espio specifically, but everyone else is super good too.

I could list these dudes for ages but I gotta go to bed and my leg is falling asleep so I gotta move too so yeh (def not in the bathroom rn)

It has been revealed.

Last season went by fast and there were lots of hidden gems in there, and hopefully they'll get more seasons. PV looked nice, and story is rather interesting.

実は俺、最強でした?/Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyou deshita?/Am I Actually the Strongest?

Murase Ayumu and Okamoto Nobuhiko in the cast, and PV looked funny and great. Isekai anime, and excited to see how it will turn out, and how story develops.

Lv1魔王とワンルーム勇者/Lv1 Maou to One Room Yuusha/Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero

Nakamura Yuuichi being main character's voice, so want to hear him much as possible, and PV was funny. The Demon Lord moves in with the Hero who isn't as strong as he used to be.

悲劇の元凶となる最強外道ラスボス女王は民の為に尽くします。/Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu./he Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior

The cast is nice, it's including Fairouz Ai, Uchida Maaya, Suwabe Junichi and Ono Daisuke. PV looked great, and story is interesting so curious to see this.

Yay, so happy this got 2nd season so quickly. Can't wait to see these characters again, and how Kunato will face the evil tsukumogami who was responsible for what happened in the past and what haunts Kunato.

As the title tells, lots of sweets and baking. Main character is voiced by Murase Ayumu, and the pâtissier is such cutie.

好きな子がめがねを忘れた/Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta/The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses

This looked so cute and sweet, and the cast is nice with Wakayama Shion, Itou Masahiro, Kimura Ryouhei and Kobayashi Yuusuke. So curious to see this.

Have been waiting for this quite a while, especially promo pics have been so beautiful. So ecxited to finally see it. Also to hear Ishikawa Kaito's voice with Kimura Ryouhei and Shimono Hiro.

Quite peculiar anime, and PV was more than interesting, so curious to see this, as detective is trying to locate her body with the friends and solving crimes in between.

呪術廻戦/Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Can't just describe enough how much I've been waiting for this when it was announced. And finally see teen Gojou and hopefully lots of tiny Megumi and their lives together, so hopefully there's jujusanpo section as it was in first season.

Haven't seen the first adaption and heard that it was good so curious to see this new adpation. Also Saitou Souma being main character's voice, so happy to hear him with Yashiro Taku, Hino Satoshi and Uchida Yuuma.

聖者無双/Seija Musou: Salaryman, Isekai de Ikinokoru Tame ni Ayumu Michi/The Great Cleric

Main character, voiced by Kawashima Reiji, looks so cute, and rather curious to see this isekai anime with different approach.

So happy that didn't need to wait a long when 2nd cour would come, and see Shall Fen Shall and other new characters.

PV looked really good, and story is interesting with the academy full of mysteries.

AIの遺電子/AI no Idenshi/The Gene of AI

I was really in awe when I saw PV first time, so have been curious ever since to see this. Doctor who fixes robots and humanoids. Doctor is voiced by Ootsuka Takeo who also is voicing Kunato from Monogatari.

Main character is voiced Kawashima Reiji, and PV was great, and fantasy world looked nice.

ダークギャザリング/Dark Gathering

Horror and supernatural anime, curious to see this, although haven't been that keen to watch horror but PV looked interesting, and one of the character is voiced by Shimazaki Nobunaga.

ゾン100～ゾンビになるまでにしたい100のこと～/Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto/Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

Another horror and supernatural anime in a row with hint of comedy. PV looked promising, and main character is voiced by Umeda Shuuichirou who has so cute voice, also Furukawa Makoto is there.

*Door closes*

Nurse : (To Isuzu, giving her juice) Would you like some juice, ma'am?

Haru : (hardens his face, to her parents) Fine, you self-centered a-holes! Then I'm keeping her with me! She don't need you, I don't need anyone! In fact I'm going to have my revenge on this whole stupid family! You'll rue the day when Ren would hear from our lawyers! You'll see! And that is why I'm going to destroy your lives by making the Sohma family...(in a creepy voice) Heartless.

Haru : (voice-over) I paid the actual Heartless.

(shows the Heartless setting Isuzu's house on fire, killing her parents inside of it. Haru is shown sneakingly escaping with Isuzu and Hiro)

*heartless uproars a victory*

Haru : (voice-over) Which is kinda of a reason that it was a distraction to find a way out of her.

Shadow : (roasting some marshmallows) Hey, where are the last three humans? We warned them about the taking the curse that seriously.

Haru : Thanks for the girl, Suckers!

*flashback ends*

Haru : We officially erased Isuzu's family from existence. But with a quick name change, Rin Sohma was ready to take on our relationship to Pennsylvania...(stoically) which was kinda bogus.

Tohru : Wow. I can't believe all of this. It wasn't Akito that abuses her as a so-called godly curse...It was about family and betrayal that was part of the curse. Maybe you're right about this.

Yuki Sohma : Well...Guess Our history of the Sohma's dark secrets explains alot.

Rin/Isuzu : I'm done. (drops bat)

Tohru : Okay...I'm guessing that the curse of the Sohma was no curse...Where was the curse exactly that turns into Zodiacs?

Rin/Isuzu : Oh...There was no curse...It was only a magic spell passed downed from our ancestors. (Tohru's blood starts boiling)

*kettle whising+rumbling+siren wailing*

Tohru : You idiots tricked me! The Zodiac curse was passed down by your ancestors!?

Kyo : That's right, Girl of no Fruit Baskets. It appears that we and our forefathers and foremothers of Sohma have devastated everything from the balance of this here world, and now we must pay the ultimate price for what we did to ourselves. Hey, speaking of the curse, wonder what happened to Akito?

(pans to a brtually injured Akito)

Akito : (Groans in pain)

Kyo : Wow. Now that's a way to break this curse that has been passed by our stupid ancestors made from magic stuff from China or Japan that doesn't work like Dracula's.

(Audience gasp)

Kyo : That's right folks. This whole Zodiac Curse thing doesn't make us into living animals!

Sohmas : What!?

Tohru : (facepalms)

Ren Souma : (covers face in despair) My life is over!

Akito : You idiots give me a darn that people know that our family history sucks? You think you give a flying-[dolphin chirp] how we suck? Well guess what? I give zero f***s to the public domain!

(audience gasps)

Akito : In fact as a so-called God to stupid-ass family, the Zodiac curse makes the Sohmas' lives worse!

Audience : Nooooo!

Kyo : Yep. I knew it all along. This is what you get, abusing with so much power from the family that you treated everyone garbage, so we found that there was no curse, it was a magic spell from our forefathers and foremothers. Congratulations, Tohru. You won the curious case of the Sohma Zodiac curse and here's your retribution!

Akito : What retribution are you talking about? (She gets caught by the police, arresting her for good)

Tokyo Police 1 : Retribution from us. Sorry lady, You're coming with us downtown.

Tokyo Police 2 : Hopefully, you'll be serving time for the rest of your life rotting behind bars in Tokyo Prison (Tohru smiles for real)

Akito : Wait a sec. You're arresting me for all the things i did? For what?

Tokyo Police 1 : There is one reason that is more important than bullying to your people, Family Abusing (the police drags Akito away)

Akito : NOOOO!!! CURSE YOU KYOOOOO!!

*Police drives away*

Tohru : Oh my Goodness, guys. Everyone. I'm sorry.

Kyo : Nah, you didn't Tohru. So how do you feel Isuzu?

Tohru : Somas. How do you all feel this way?

Isuzu : I...I'm feeling fine and now you saved us from the curse which means... (determined with excitement) YES!

(Cues Unsued Jingle by Jun Senoue)

Isuzu : (excited) I'M FINALLY FREE!!!

Haru : Gods be praised! We're free! Free from our family's corruption!

Kyo : Not yet, there's one more we need to end our family's corruption.

(Ren Sneakily trying to escape)

Kyo : Oh, Graunt Ren! We got something for you.

(the gang prepare to punish her with a rope)

Ren Souma : Oh I long lived to see this day.

*alternate take*

Kyo : Ready for the big unveiling, Guys?

Isuzu/Rin : We're ready to see your prize.

Ren Souma : (excited) Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Show me what you members of the Souma given me the appreciation to your relative!

Akito : Why do I feel being bothered? Huh? What's that door being here in front of the-/Is that DTD? Wait a sec, I didn't summon any door!

Tohru : Get ready!....

Ren Souma : Oh boy! My very own prize! (Tohru unties her blindfold)

All : Ta-da! Happy Birthday, Graunt Ren!

Ren Souma : Thanks kiddies, you're so--(she is standing in front of the Door to Darkness) What is this?

Tohru : It's a magical door where you could unlock your true nature and it will lead you to, Uhh...A magical world.

Ren Souma : Really? Let me see.

*doors open*

(A reprise version of Friends on the Other Side plays)

Ren Souma : (chuckles evilly) Oh, Ren Souma. When you are done with the Kids, it'll be a magical world of elf boobies and beaches full of human babes. Huh? What's all this? What are you kids trying to show me with my prize? What's this place called? (Darkside's hand comes out of the door)

"ARE YOU READY!?"

Ren Souma : Huh?

"ARE YOU READY?"

Ren Souma : Who's singing? I'm not ready at all!

Ren Souma : What trickery is this!? (Darkside's arm comes out of the door)

Darkside : YOUR GRAVE, MOTHER F-[beep]!! (Grabs Ren, trailing off with a yell)

Ren Souma : HELP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? WHAT'S GOING ON!?(Sobs regretfully) HELP ME! Kyo-san! Don't just stand there, help me! Kyo Souma. Why aren't you helping me?!

(both Kyo and Tohru waving goodbye)

Tohru : Wave and smile, Mrs Souma. You'll be happy to be living with your new prize. As long as we don't say goodbye to you. (revealing that she is holding hands with Kyo, Ren realizes that she broken curse by falling in love with him)

Ren Souma : What!? You broke the family's curse?!

Tohru : Not broken...lifted from your family's crimes.

Kyo : It pains us that the Souma's family curse were caused by our family's crimes and this is where you go face to ultimate karma punishment.

Hiro Souma : So we're waving goodbye to you. Movie Villain defeat style.

Ren Souma : Wait! Wait! Family of mine! Look here's the deal on this whole Zodiac curse thing! I understand that me and Akito mistreated you all it's because the family's curse were nothing but the crimes of the Souma clan, our clan was full of garbage and mistreatment it's callled no sympathy and regret, all because of out human error! But what I've done wrong was that I led Akito into playing God with the curse and what should've been that done!?

Ren Souma, also : But please, for the sake others, I had to fool the entire public to think that the curse is real and realizing that I was such a simple fool believing in our family's foolishness for generations! But please, don't let me drag me away in there! Please, you all will forgive me right? Right? I only needed a little time to forgive me, right.

Isuzu Souma : ...(determines) Go to hell, you heartless witch.

Ren Souma : No! No please! Just a little more time to forgive me!

Darkside : Okay then, move it along! (force pulling her into the realm)

Ren Souma : JUST A LITTLE MORE TIME TO FORGIVE ME!

Update 4/27/2014

I was forced to restart the game. Again. But I was almost done with the previous one anyway so it's not a huge deal this time. (I just didn't have a child with Souma or get to check one of the bonus cutscenes.)

This turned out to be a very important test run, because I forgot or didn't think about a lot of things when it comes to the babies.

I decided to focus on Alan and Esmaralda this time.

Story:

+Started dating both of them.

+Worked on both post-couple cutscenes to make them flow better.

+Married and had children with both of them.

+Realized that I didn't prevent you from dating or marrying anybody if you choose to stay with one person if you started dating two people before getting married once. I did this. It was hell.

+I stalked them around in two areas. I might just stop there, make a new file and be in a monogamy next. Probably with Umeko. (For some reason I have a feeling that I might have missed up with her in some places.)

Children, because there's so much here it deserves it's own section:

+I forgot to make a second "baby discussion" event if you choose to remain in a monogamy, so I made one. You don't get a choice in the gender- the gender of the second baby is going to be the opposite of your first one when you have a second child with your first spouse. (I don't want to make another two sets of children for every canddiate.)

+Realized that, with the limited amount of "switches" that can be on each character, you cannot have a cutscene with your first spouse and second child unless you have twins. So I made a separate cutscene where you're alone so you can name your child.

I might be able to change this at some point, but for now I have to keep my "switch" slots open since I have to use so damn many already. Doing it this way saves me twelve of them.

+Forgot to actually make sure the discussion about having a baby isn't repeated over and over again every night. I also forgot to turn off the counters for the babies and set them back to zero once they're born so they wouldn't be replaced every day.

+The genius who made this version of RPG Maker decided that you can't have an "event" with a set variable. It's always set as "or above" by default.

This is relevant to the children because I, not thinking about this, had some children set to certain variables depending on who their second parent is. So if you married say, both Alan and Esmaralda, whenever it's Alan's turn to watch his kid outside of the crib, he takes both babies with him. It'd be adorable if this wouldn't mean that your babies could duplicate depending on who you marry.

So instead of variables I had to use up another 48 switch slots- four for each candidate. Basically, I had to name them "Alan skin 1 baby 1," "Alan skin 2 baby 1" "Alan skin 1 baby 2" "Alan skin 2 baby 2" for each and every single candidate.

But at least I saved 12 slots before!

+Because of all of this, I made some changes to the drafted post about babies.

Misc:

+I saw that the "Dating Sim" demo didn't actually work properly. So once this is out you won't be able to have the option to (not) play it until and unless I fix it. (I'm not surprised at all that it doesn't really work. I made it while I was coming down from a birth control shot.)

Instead you get to play a "demo" of the puzzle mini game. (It's the same puzzle every time.) I'm not sure if I'll ever fix the Dating Sim demo. (I'm not sure if I can. I'm not exactly the most coherent person in the world after getting those shots.)

+I made sure that you'll actually Game Over if Hiro dies in the Dungeon Crawler demo. Maybe. It's untested and it was just a quick fix for the mini game I only made just to see if I could.
