10. who was your first self-insert? - Hmm.. After thinking about it for a bit, I think the answer might be Amber, who I currently use as one of my Skyrim self-inserts but who was originally created as my character in a Minecraft RP (because her character concept in both games is identical: got attacked by a dragon, has the same kind of powers as that dragon, but fights against it for the sake of the ordinary people instead of giving in to her nature and siding with it).

However, it’s tricky to establish the divide between “this is who I’m playing as in the game” and “this is a specific self-insert who exists beyond just being a playstyle on a save file”; this divide is why self-inserts like Emily don’t count. Skyrim was definitely one of the first instances of me using a specific name that isn’t my own for my character, but Camille also originated from the same server Amber did (and I know I made her after I played Amber), and Carmine was not specifically established until later on even though I did play as a Khajiit quite a bit.

11. choose a song to apply to your self-insert! - Haha, I can try. So far, I’ve only been able to do this for a few self-inserts, and with most songs it’s less “songs that apply/fit if you imagine her singing it” and more “songs with the same vibes” (for example, Shinkai City Underground by TanakaB and Babylon by Tohma are both Lamia songs for the latter reason). However, for a song that applies.. MONSTER by Kira is Aria’s arguable main character song. I have a whole PV for it featuring her in my head, depicting her taking revenge on a particular unsavoury individual from her/my past.

14. choose a self-insert and put her, unaltered, into a different source. how does that world receive her? - Again, my instinct is to use Aria for this one because this is literally what she does within the context of Kingdom Hearts’ canon; she and Aqua travel to worlds threatened by invading Heartless or darkness from a villain, with Aqua working more traditionally alongside the important heroes of that world to help them defeat the Heartless while Aria goes to the villain causing the problem, claims to be able to help them with their goals, but instead passes on information to Aqua and the other protagonists, while also siphoning the villain’s darkness away to weaken them and then using it to defeat them to save that world.

In these instances, she is received as an apparent antagonist, using her inhuman features like her wings to show the villains her powerful darkness and convince them to let her “assist” (read: weaken and leak info about) them, only to have never been on their side at all and get to have the satisfaction of taking them down alongside the other heroes. Alternatively, sometimes Aria and Aqua travel other worlds together in order to scout for new potential Keyblade wielders, and in those cases Aqua’s magic can make them both appear to fit into the world more easily, but only if necessary; for example, if they were to go to Alrest, Aria would claim to be Aqua’s Blade to explain her unusual appearance and powers (as she’d still want her wings to be visible, in order to fly).

of course you can!!! and you're more than welcome to pet adelina; she doesn't bite! (she might end up taking a nap on your lap, though... but sacrifices must be made.)

delight is a fairly friendly guy to begin with; it doesn't take him long to make friends, and you're likely no different! miracle tends to follow him along, so it's likely you get a two-for-one deal there when it comes to friendship.

they're both acrobats, and would be more than happy to show you some of the routines they don't get to show off as often. a friend is the best type of audience, after all!

if you're having a rough day, delight will always be there with kind words and a smile. miracle is a bit of a hands-on kind of comforter, on the other hand- they'll bring you things, like cherished items, to try to lighten your mood. and if that doesn't work, maybe a distraction will!

a general day with the two might be a little boring, as miracle likes to practice in their spare time and delight helps out, but they do their best to make sure you're never bored!

whether it's because they're showing you new tricks, or getting you to try a (very easy and with lots of safety precautions) trick, or one of them keeping you company while the other practices, they try to make sure you always feel included.

if you're a guest, and don't help out with the circus, they personally come to deliver you tickets and an invitation every time they come into your town.

if you're another circus employee, then sleepovers! (if you want them!) miracle and delight often share a tent and you'd be more than welcome to join them!!!

Togekiss!

Reasoning: I can see Sakura being given a Togepi egg when she’s younger - it’s not necessarily a battle partner but it does have some advantages metronome. Later as she grows up and trains under Tsunade - Togepi becomes stronger and eventually evolves up  to a Togekiss! Togekiss is also very friendly and can easily be underestimated in a fight!

Meganium!

Reasoning: Everyone has to have a starter, and a grass type seems fitting for Sakura due to her name. What better to have a tank Grass type on her team than Meganium? It’s an underrated pokemon and is sometimes forgotten for it’s healing capabilites. Plus it has a reddish-pink rose/flower on it’s neck almost akin to Sakura’s namesake! 

Mienshao!

Reasoning: okay this underrated pokemon is frail AF. but it can strike REALLY HARD AND REALLY FAST. who punches hard too? Sakura Haruno! THis fighting type also has a fascinating physical move set and honestly it’s design would totally fit with Sakura’s team alone!

Blissey!

Reasoning: okay from a competitive perspective BLISSEY IS A WALL. it has a really high HP stat, and well has an absurdly wide move pool. It’s also very unpredictable because you don’t know if it’s a physical wall, a special wall or BOTH. Sakura may seem to be an ordinarily pretty lady - but her punches might as well send someone to the hospital too. Also there’s this move called Soft-boiled and it restores HP - so imagine seeing the opponent using it at a time when you want to knock it out of the battle? YEP my thoughts exactly. Sakura has the Strength of a Hundred Seal and well - she can survive just fine if she’s severely injured, cause that seal is gonna recover all that damage anyway!

Virizion!

Reasoning: You need a pokemon that can be fast and deal damage - and take some too! A fighting / grass combo works well for Sakura’s team and honestly any opponent running a ‘Beat Up’ or any dark type move is gonna have a bad time. I also think Shiny Virizion suits Sakura’s team too!

Mega! Lucario

Reasoning: Sakura Haruno is an absolute powerhouse on the battlefield. What better to give a character that’s under loved and under appreciated a pokemon that’s the definition of people’s nightmares? Mega Lucario’s ability makes it just as powerful in it’s normal form, it’s move pool makes it almost impossible to predict what sets it runs - this pocket monster can learn Earthquake - one of the most powerful ground type moves in the games. Don’t forget to watch out for it’s Close Combat too! Purely I see Sakura running a physical sweeper set on her Lucario - to get rid of any pesky dark and Ground Types off the field. 

Also that DESIGN?? it’s gonna make people run!!

I can absolutely imagine you three relaxing and having fun together in fancy cafés and coffee shops, maybe Luka picking somewhere light and airy and modern and spacious while Teto would go for a smaller little place all cosily tucked away somewhere, whenever it's either of their turns to decide where you all meet up. But, no matter where they pick, or where you pick, you all really enjoy spending those little dates together!

oooh this is a fun question...i definitely think della and dash would totally hit it off because i joke about how similar they are so often. they like flying, they’re the tough fighty member of their immediate friend group, they’re very sweet with little kids, they learn better by doing stuff than reading about it (also there’s that one ep of a potential future in mlp where dash gets a prosthetic wing) 

helen and trexel are rusty quill solidarity and trexel also likes lying about things, having an over the top fashion sense, ferns and giving people headaches so they’d be friends too. he’d be helen’s terrible little protege. 

i also made a joke that glados thetis and helen were like. the cool reverse of the oren principle by being isolated nonhuman powerful women (adjacents) so they’d probably gossip with each other sometimes about stuff. actually almost all of my top female f/os fit into either the tough girl fighter category (dash della beidou) or the cool isolated complex antagonist (helen thetis glados mera) so that’s neat! friend groups <3

while velvet and jingles may not date each other, they'd both be more than happy to shower you in love anyways!!! if anything, it gives them more of a chance to give you love.

they're both clowns, though drastically different sorts, so you can expect a lot of dramatic gestures in your relationship with them both!

velvet tends to be a little more subdued, but they know a fair amount of magic tricks they can show you. jingles, on the other hand, is full of energy and drama. expect bouquets and cards and all sorts of stuff!

while velvet might be a little more... shy, about showing you affection, jingles is loud and proud about it. you WILL be shown off (if you're okay with it) and the other members WILL eventually tire of jingles's constant announcements of her love for you

if jingles's energy is too much for you, velvet makes sure to do their best to get her to tone it down, and to remind her to keep it down. otherwise, though, they mostly just sit back and watch you two with the faintest of smiles on their face.

velvet will often be pulled into it by jingles, though- just as they try to keep her energy levels down a little bit, she does her best to encourage them to come show you love too!!!

overall, it's actually very well-balanced, with each giving their own very unique things to their relationship with you whilst also making sure the other doesn't get too wrapped up in their usual energies.
