Hi! ^^ I thought it would be fun to share some pics of my Hypno and Warren inspired plushies :]

The hippo is a weighted plushie from the Etsy shop, CuddleCalm. I spool knit the worm with soft yarn and used a pipe-cleaner to make him pose-able and sewed him a tiny outfit. I also made the top hat and jacket for Hypno :]

(Note: my version of Hypno has a top hat not a turban since it was confirmed canon Hypno was not wearing a turban for religious reasons. His turban is a costume, and that is culturally insensitive to put it mildly.)

I gave Hypno’s jacket lapels; though they’re hard to see when he’s wearing it so here’s a picture of the jacket (and hat.) Also here’s a couple close-ups of Warren and a picture of them with me.

Watched various videos by Lixie Pig Crafts on YouTube to help figure out how to make the jacket and assorted videos on collars and lapels, plus lots of puzzling together pieces of paper while making a pattern. Watched a video called DIY mini top hat tutorial by Fleece Fun on YouTube for the hat, but I sewed instead of glued.

Also, if you happen to be interested in weighted plushies, I definitely recommend the plushies Stephanie Edmonds makes for her Etsy shop, CuddleCalm <3 The ones I’ve bought seem like high quality and are super soft. There is a long wait time though, usually a couple months. But they are hand made and she offers a bunch of different kinds of animals (and blankets too) plus lots of fabric/color options and other customization options. (She is dealing with some medical issues in her family, so I’m sure she could use the support.)

This is a Six Flags Metallic Yellow, Pink, and Purple Chibi Hippo Plush and it is pretty cute while also unique looking for a hippo plush.

This hippo plush has super soft stuffing in the nose area but firm stuffing in the body area and nostrils have a thin material but are closed up to these seem to be safe from damage.

The eyes are firm plush material with plastic pupil doll eyes.

The purple hair and tail tip was lightly fluffy in texture.

The belly and the circle paw prints on the bottom of the plush have a very thin material that might rip easily if you played with this plush rough.

This plush's material is a shiny yellow which is pretty unique.

The Six Flags Metallic Yellow Pink and Purple Chibi Hippo Plush was in great used condition but the toy may have ware, lint, scratches on the eyes, ware on the tush tag, and strings loose on this plush.

I would love to know what the hang tag was since it was removed from the previous owner.

The Six Flags Metallic Yellow Pink and Purple Chibi Hippo Plush is 10 inches from nose to the tail tip.

The front of the tush tag on the Six Flags Metallic Yellow Pink and Purple Chibi Hippo Plush says Manufactured Exclusively For Six Flags®. Grand Prairie.Tx. MADE IN CHINA.  

The back part of the tush tag says ALL NEW MATERIALS. CONTENTS: Polyester Fibers. May contain Wire Stiffeners. Registration No.PA-5159(RC). Not recommended for children. Under 3 years of age. CE. 

This is a very cute and unique Six Flags Metallic Yellow Pink and Purple Chibi Hippo Plush.

This plush can wear both the toy glasses.

MY VERY FIRST PLUSHIES!!!

Say "hello" to Yellow Baby and Hippo!

I got these two when I was born, and was very attached to them for the longest time!

Yellow Baby is in very rough shape. He used to be yellow, now he is a greyish color! His fabric is so worn, it's see through. He also has a hole in the back of his head. His head is hard, and it used to play music. The end of his tail is a hard plastic teether. I think his tag says "prestige toy corp".

Hippo is in much better shape! He is still very old, but he's not falling apart. I think he used to be either light pink or white. He's very floppy! He has a tag, but it's faded so I don't know the brand. Hippo even went with me to get my tonsils out when I was 3! I remember the medical lady (nurse?) gave him his own wrist band and IV :)

Oh no!!!!! It looks like sun and moon have been turned into marketable pins!!!!!

The head and ruffles are probably made out of a clay (probably polymer??) and the bell and ribbons are attached via little hooks so you can move them around. Not sure if the ribbons would actually be ribbons or just clay shaped into ribbons.

Don't know if this is even a good pin design, especially with the moving elements, just a little idea that has been pinball machine-ing through my brain for the past few days

Anyway, on a completely unrelated note if anyone has any tips on sculpting with polymer clay I am all ears lol. Sun is looking very lumpy rn
