Taken from the studio day at @my_pad_studiohire Studio, this portrait was taken by the lovely @7thcirclephotography It was so nice to get back to modelling. However, it wasn't easy on my body, but I expected it to be difficult. Recovery is a long process, yet to me it feels very exciting. Feeling my body get stronger each day and overcome little hurdles is wonderful. I've been tempted to give myself a hard time because I'm not in what I consider MY best shape. Then I realised that there are more important things in life! I've had my second hip replacement and I've came through it. I also have endometriosis, underactive thyroid, iron deficiency, zero immune system, and IBS 😂😂 Basically, my insides are a mess! So, my body has done amazing things! I'm so proud and happy for it. I need to give it time to recover, and allowing my insecurities to take away from that is unfair and wrong. Yes it makes you feel shit, but there is forever to feel your best. You likely won't be on your death bed thinking that youre so thankful you stayed constantly in your best shape (unless of course that's your career/passion). You'll be thankful for your achievements,for the risks you took and the memories you made. Is it something that niggles me? Of course it is! And it's important I tell you that because you should know that I might love being glam, but I don't always feel great about myself. I just try remember that I'm here to have fun and those couple of extra (extraaa) tight dresses I have will fit in due course 😂 so here's my message to remind you to give yourselves a bloody break!! I guarantee you're all doing wonderful things. In fact, what have you done this week that you're proud of?
