This post is for the brave drivers and conductors of HRCTC who daily drive through some of the narrow and trencherous roads of Himalayas. HRCTC operates in every corner of Himachal like Rohtang , Lahual , Kinnaur , Pangi. These roads are amongst the most dangerous roads in the world where the bravest get scared to drive but hats to the drivers of HRCTC for their regular service and connecting remote villages of Himachal. They are respected for their work because life of all the passengers are their responsibility. They are hero because they are expert in driving in any terrain and whether condition And what do they get from government for this brave work , A low payscale. The salary of HRCTC drivers is around Rs, 7700/ monthly which has enhanced to Rs 8310 , which will make their monthly salary Rs 11310 ( 150 $). I don't understand why is the salary of these drivers so low even though they put their life on risk ? ..
