Some of my Fave SuFin Moments from the Anime
Moment 1:
Context: Ran away from Denmark, Sweden holding Finland to keep him warm at night when he said he was cold. We stan a proactive hubby. Source: Crunchyroll, World Series, episode 17 For comparison:
Moment 2:
Context: Finland says it's lonely so Sweden goes to find some friends for him, starting with Estonia and when Sweden introduces himself, he claims Finland as his wife. His wife! What other country has actively called another country their wife or husband? Source: Crunchyroll, World Series episode 18 Moment 3:
Context: Sweden put a cardboard box over Sealand's head because he wants him to play with his papa and stop watching so much TV. They look like a married couple with a child, and Finland responds with Don't ask me, like he realizes if he gives his opinion it'll seem like he's accepting the mama role. Source: Crunchyroll, The Beautiful World, episode 16 Moment 4:
Context: Estonia talks about the weird festivals that Finland throws, and Finland's back becomes itchy from the gossip. And then Sweden puts down his book to care for his wife Finland. This is the seventh season from 2021, it seems like they're hinted to be living together in 2021? This whole scene makes it look like they’re a married couple who’s been together for a long time who’s very comfortable and loving with each other, just chilling at home with a considerate and attentive husband who wants to make sure his wife is comfortable. If his wife Finland shows even the slightest amount of discomfort, the supportive husband Sweden is there to offer his assistance. Actually it seems to be an overarching pattern for Sweden, if Finland wants something he tries his best to seek it out for him (shelter from cold, a child, more friends). Ahhh... May this kind of love find all of us 🥹 Source: Crunchyroll season 7, World Stars Ep 12
Bonus:
Source: Hetarchive 2013 Halloween part3 and 6
I read this scene where Sweden says he wants a wife and Finland’s reaction as being that Finland knows he’s referring to him and that he wants Finland to be his wife lol. Which also seems to imply an established romantic relationship given the implications of wife and how quickly Finland knew Sweden was directing the remark at him. For all his refusal to accept the wife role, Finland chose to dress up as a girl, arrived to the Halloween event with Sweden (and Estonia), and gets mistaken for Sweden’s partner. Well if it walks like a duck… 🦆
#hetalia#sufin#hima when I catch you#hetalia sufin#please dont come for me I know Finland is a badass country who isnt just someones wife but its nice to see him being loved

BNHA as dads
I did smaus for haikyuu but I thought it’d be fun to try to write for bnha again 🙂↕️ excuse any typos *all characters are aged up* obvs- and enjoy 🤩
Bakugo:
If he had to describe himself words like attentive, kind and loving probably wouldn’t be the adjectives he’d use
It’s 1000% what you and your baby girl would use tho
Bakugo Hina [or Hime like her father calls her] is a spoiled little daddys girl.
“Daddy I can’t reach”
“Daddy my legs hurt”
“Daddy! daddy! Kiss”
Katsuki follows her around following her every wishes and you sigh complaining he’s raising a menace😫
“Daddy! Daddy! Let’s go over there” the toddler pulled her father to yet another toy store. If it was up to Katsuki he would buy her everything she desires and then some, you however were resolved to raising an acceptable citizen for society. “Hima you are not getting any more toys, your dad already bought you a toy”
“But mommy- what if there is something even better here?” Hima exclaimed and Katsuki looked at you as if your little girl had made a reasonable argument. “Then you save that thought and buy it next time” you gave Bakugo a pointed look, urging him to agree with you. “Your mum is right Hime, you have to appreciate everything that you have and you already have tons of toys” you managed to steer them away from the store and back to the escalator to start moving home. “Daddy I know what I want” Katsuki raised his eyebrow at his princess. Hima stretched her arms towards Katsuki and he quickly reached down to pick her up. The little firecracker leaned over and gave her daddy a kiss, and that’s exactly how she kept your husband wrapped around her tiny tiny finger.
Hawks:
Keigo loves flying, soaring through the sky is where he felt the most at peace besides your arms
When you had just started dating he had picked you up and flew across the town
Which was fucking terrifying at first
He really wanted to share that with his little girl so when she was just a baby he would strap her into her baby carrier and take her flying around town
Sometime you would hear her little giggles around town when hawks would take her for a ride, other times there would be soft snoring as she found peace just like her dad
Keigo was used to flying, so if your baby had to soar through the sky nobody felt like a safer bet than Keigo
Throwing your baby several meters into the air only to hopefully catch her before she goes crushing down into the ground did however not feel like a safe bet.
“C’mere ny little hummingbird” chubby feet softly slapped against the floor as your daughter did her best to run towards her father. “Dada” her giggles filled the room as Keigo picked her up and spun her around. “You finished early today babe” you walked over to Keigo and gave him a swift kiss. “That was too short so we are definitely circling back to that later dove” he winked at you and even though you had been together for so long he could still make your heart race. “Bring Sakura to the backyard babe, I set up a picnic blanket” On the grass outside you had placed a picnic basket filled with Keigo and Sakuras favorite snacks. Keigo did spend a lot of time with his daughter but lately there had been an increase of villains so he had been working long days where he left before Sakura woke up and came back long after she had gone to sleep. That’s why you wanted them to enjoy their time together while you got the last few things ready for the picnic.
It couldn’t have taken you more than- idk maybe a minute before you could hear sakuras babbling to her dad. It was barely decipherable but her dad understood everything his princess was telling him. The babbling was followed by loud laughter and happy screaming.
Scream is what you did when you walked out with a pitcher of juice and Keigo had thrown little Sakura high up in the air. You closed your eyes as she started descending but judging from the laughter her dad had caught her. “ook mama! I fly” she said as her dad once again threw her in the air. “KEIGO” he caught her again and laughed at your face. “She’s alright dove, I got her” he kissed her forehead and Sakura kept saying something that could only mean “again”.
You really did prefer the strapped in and safe flying 😭

[241031] DORM LIVE
● 여상 is live on POP now (11:29 PM)
● 92,390 active viewers
[While two of the roommates introduce the furnished living room, their maknae walks in wearing her boyfriend's boxers and a loose sweater suspiciously identical to the one her brother left on his studio chair, waving to the camera while holding a box of Pepero]
H; [Signing to Yunho] "Do you need me to make dinner ? I think we have enough for sundubu jjigae and jjapaguri"
YH; [Signing back very slowly] "Sangie and I ordered some from the place down the street, we got you your favorite. I think it'll be here in about 15 minutes"
[With a nod she takes a seat on the couch while the oldest dormmate sets up the game console, resting her head on Yeosang's shoulder to read the comments]
H; I'm glad you guys like the furniture...I had to drag them out to get some because it was just empty space, a massage chair and protein powder
YS; Maybe if you used some of that protein powder you would've been able to lift the boxes by yourself...just saying
[She stares at him blankly before biting him, causing the phone to fall]
[Yeosang flips the camera to his roommates as the vocalist sits in a rather strange position, legs kicked up against the back pillows of the couch and head hanging from the edge while watching the spiderman gameplay]
YS; What is even going on...are you a bat ? Are you trying to be Spiderman ?
[After registering that he was addressing her, Himari proceeds to make the character's hand gestures before gently throwing a pillow instead of a web, which unfortunately lands right on their friend's face]
YH; Can you turn off the camera for a second...I don't want Atiny to see this
[As Yeosang goes back to speaking with their fans, squeals can be heard in the background along with two pairs of feet running around the apartment]
YS; This is ATEEZ in their natural habitat...well actually it's a rare sight to see in this dorm, usually Hima would be working on something
[Yunho is too concentrated on the game to hear what is going on around him and Himari is laying against his thigh, legs resting on Yeosang's while texting. Seconds later her finger slips on the sound button and a loud voice message of Jungkook screaming 'fuck' plays before she hurriedly cuts it off]
H;[Imitating Dr. Strange's hand movement]...Ah Dormammu
YH; Do you think the staff is watching our live this late- ?
H; I mean they can't fire me either way...right ? Everyone, it was Jeon Jungkook, my mouth would never utter such mean dirty words, he's a delinquent
[Yunho clears his throat very loudly, leading to the maknae slapping his thigh only for him to drop his controller and begin tickling her as Yeosang turns the camera back to himself, posing cutely to distract viewers from the chaos in front of him]
YS; Hahaha...we love each other very much Atiny, ATEEZ is always peaceful these two just have no idol image
[Himari is on the phone with Hongjoong on speaker while she paints her nails and Yunho speaking to Atiny to let Yeosang braid her hair]
HJ; I'm gonna go out for dinner Himi, don't forget to do your rehabilitation exercises, I haven't seen you do them yet
H; Haha, you're stalking our live ? I'll do them in a bit, love you oppa, goodnight
HJ; Love you too, eat well alright ? I sent you some dessert
[Himari is finishing up her rehabilitation exercises while talking to the fans as her roommates set up the freshly delivered food, something catching Yeosang's attention as she moves around slightly]
YS; Are you wearing underwear (boxers) instead of sleeping shorts ? Where did those come from ?
H; I dunno...I can ask Mingi where he bought them if you want, the brand might be on the waistband actually, let me check
[As she starts to pull the hem of the sweater up in order to see the boxers clearly, the two members stop her in a panic]
H; Oh but when you guys strip on stage it's fine huh-
[After a rather filling dinner, the maknae lays down on Yunho's back as he scrolls on his phone, resting on his stomach and barely flinching at her weight]
YS; She's like a big cat, she can't be without physical touch for more than 10 seconds especially when she's tired. Apparently Yunho is subject to mattress testing today
[Letting out a loud yawn she turns towards him and points towards her ear void of a hearing aid in preparation for a sudden nap, a gesture understood by the man who quickly translated it through clumsy hand signs]
H; It's the advantage of having 8 other members...you never have to sleep on the ground, or even in your bed
YS; Or you can just fall asleep in your studio and have one of your 8 members come drive you home-
[After taking a little while to register what he said she lunges over to him, accidentally digging her foot into Yunho's backside in the process - both male members rushing to attack her with pillows]
[The vocalist opted to lay on the tallest dancer's back once more, practically mimicking his position before turning her head to Yeosang]
H; [Signing while talking] "Sangie oppa, do you know when we're going back to Italy ?"
YS; [S] "I'm not sure...I think some time around January, why ?"
H; [S] "Hyunjin oppa just sent me a picture of this really pretty paintbrush set but apparently he only found it in Milan, so I wanted to go buy it...I have to buy some new scrolls and ink too but Seonghwa oppa is coming shopping with me tomorrow"
YH; You guys have no idea how much money she makes from royalties alone, and she has over 200, but she only spends it on art stuff...you should see her car, you'd never guess she gets paid that much
H; Are you dissing my car ?? You're just mad because your long legs don't fit in it
YH; [S] "At least they're not so short that I have to power walk just to keep up with our members, or have to wait for breakfast because I can't reach the cereal"
[Yeosang slowly zooms in on her offended face before she smothers his face in a pillow, causing the two to start play fighting yet again - a true cat/dog duo]
H; So NOW you're fluent in sign language huh ??
YS; I'm sure they'll work it out...
[Yunho can be heard screaming in the background as Himari jumps on him]
YS; They love each other so much-
[Worn out from so much physical exercise after a work filled day, the maknae is fast asleep with her head on Yeosang's thigh, holding a plush previously taken from her room as ammunition. Surprisingly the dorm's oldest fell asleep quickly as well, head resting on the vocalist's side]
YS; Well Atiny that's it for today's live, I guess I should get some sleep too, bye bye

The violin screech moments from today where
Me going to Pip “I think we set up your ender pearl stasis chamber wrong, the pearls gone?” And Pip responding “Oh does a pearl disappear when you die?”. The absolute horror that went through me the moment I truly looked at him to see the “1 Deaths” above his head.
And when talking to Hima and Snowball, to have me go “The white baby isn’t good Hima, it just murdered Snowball today!” And for Snowball to respond “does it really count if I wanted it?”
Like that isn’t even the half of it from today the consequences of my actions are catching up to me now, 11 kids you could be angsted from ;-;

I don't know if you awnsered this or not. But I seen you talk to Unofficial Estonia about how Estonia is portrayed in Hetalia/ the fandom. Do you think how the fandom/Hima portray him nowadays is better? I know there is still some poor taste jokes/ takes/ art that are made by like 14 year olds about Estonia and Russia in the fandom. But do you think his over all portal is better?
By the way I do love your blog and rewrites of cannon. I love learning about other countries and their view of the world.
Oh yeah, me and some of the people behind that blog have spoken before about matters such as how Estonia is treated by the Hetalia fandom and worked together on a few occasions.
I do personally think Himaruya has improved a bit when it comes to his treatment of Estonia. Sure, he still makes the Baltics mostly be about the whole "lil guys next to Russia how scawy" which if you know the Baltic countries and people irl then you know we aren't like the cowards Himaruya has written hah.
What I've noticed in recent times with some of the content I've seen (though I definitely need to catch up) is that Himaruya is less focused about the whole Nordic thing with Estonia, he either has learned that the joke is very outdated and based on something very small, or he decided that he's beat that joke like a dead horse enough times now and found there to be much more that he can do.
I appreciate more Baltic content and Estonia and Finland content we've seen, exploring more about Estonia's relationship with these countries. I especially am glad there's more of Estonia just chilling as a Baltic, considering Hima's awful writing has created a side of the fandom that strongly believe the Baltics are a very divided and uncaring of each other trio with nothing holding them together.
So I do think things have improved, even a little. Now let's hope the rest of the fandom picks up on that too. Though I do think for the most part the Baltic side of the fandom has moved on with only a few individuals here and there having those outdated views on us. I also hope the Nordic fans side of the fandom has less people who sit in that outdated bubble too. I've noticed that the Nordic side of the fandom has a lil more of the people who like to target Estonia specifically, but again only some people here and there with majority either just not giving Estonia any attention or being neutral/respectful about it. Though I do think they too are missing out on some great history by ignoring Estonia, especially Sweden and Denmark fans.
#hetalia#hetalia baltics#hetalia nordics#hws estonia#hws baltics#hws nordics#hws NB8#hws nordic-baltic 8#do we still use the aph tag or are we only on hws tags now?#i sure hope that's the case

yesss i live for veneziano having more depth to him. he's genuinely a happy, cheerful person to be around but he definitely looks out for his own interests first. he just gets away with being vain because hes also charming and adorable. i mean this guy will ditch his own besties and make new alliances if it benefits him. normally hes a great friend to have, but when he sees the water start coming in, hes jumping ship. i also think something underexplored with his character is how he can be friendly with pretty much everyone. imagine you have a good friend you think might be a bit useless but makes up for it by being so loveable... and then you see him acting the same he does with you but with your sworn enemies. thats germanys pov lol. i think hes someone who can fit in anywhere if he wants to.
anon i love your take on veneziano (or how i call him, felice)!! it is exactly how i like to think of him relating to other nations, especially since he's one of the most influential nations in the EU nowadays.
you see, i don't really like how hima portrayed his personality. the stereotype for northern italians is almost the opposite of his characterization in canon (less passionate and more hardworking), so i tried to find a middle ground in how he acts and behaves around others while not completely erasing his actual personality. and you nailed it!
i think felice is a very hard worker and cares deeply about his country, and that requires that he's also going to be plenty charismatic. you will always see him smile and present himself perfectly in any formal meeting, referring to others with nothing but politeness added with his natural cheerfulness. contrary to romano, felice is very open to change and likes to have as many ties as possible with other "influential" nations of the Union. it benefits him in the end so why not?
but here's the catch. like you said, he's plenty vain and "nation focused", so if he finds another situation he thinks is going to benefit, he's sure as hell going to pursue it. and in the meanwhile, it's seems he cares little of how this decision might affect the people that surround him. it almost seems he puts this super friendly persona just for his own benefit. almost.
this, combined to the fact that romano has issues relating to others cause of trauma a difficult personality as well, makes their relationship tremendously complicated (something that I would love to talk about in another post). there have been instances during history where feli wronged quite harshly his older brother, making his vanity show in full strength.
so I'm happy to know that people don't see him as this dumb baby that doesn't know how to behave lol. north italy can be an extremely interesting character if you look at his history, old and modern alike. he can be both extremely nice and a complete asshole at the same time, so don't underestimate him! he was, one time, the Republic of Venice after all...
#hetalia world stars#hetalia axis powers#hetalia#hws italy#aph italy#cice talks#guys you dont understand the family drama he has going on#hes like...this nice bastard business man#his trading buddies would be germany and france for sure

-> arrow one: Radio Romance
Genre: Fluff, maybe angst?, happy ending but getting there takes a while lol
Pairing: Atsumu Miya of Haikyuu x Black female OC
Word Count: 4.5k
Warnings: Misunderstanding, profanity, a tad bit suggestive at the end, quite a bit of italicized font, in case that is an issue for anyone
a/n: it's been quite a while since I've written (for a number of reasons) but I hope everyone enjoys !
"From the moment I saw her I knew this one was worth the broken heart." ― Atticus
“Come on, Hima. Surely you must be into somebody on the team!”
“Negative. Nobody wants to deal with guys that can’t take anything but volleyball seriously, anyway. Why would I want to deal with that?”
Those words rang through Atsumu’s head like a siren as he watched the owner of the voice pass by, her laugh disrupting the flow of the busy hallway in the best way possible. He watched as her primly pressed hair cascaded down her back in layers, brushing up against the backpack that hung off her shoulder.
In all honesty, Atsumu didn’t quite notice Himari at first. She kept to herself in class, and they didn’t have any mutual friends so run-ins were scarce. He just didn’t have the opportunity to truly see her, until…
The sun was high in the sky, and the four walls of the gym did very little to keep the heat at bay. The match had already started by the time the girls got there, with the second set in full swing as they managed to find just enough seats for their group of four.
‘Coming through, sorry!” The girls recited like a mantra until they made it to their destination.
“This all could’ve been avoided if Himari would’ve just accepted to come in the first place.” Satomi chimed in, avoiding the glare the other girl shot her way.
“You guys could’ve come without me.” She pouted, slumping down in her seat.
“No, we agreed this would be a GROUP outing. No one left behind.”
“Why did we even have to come at all? None of y’all are into sports.”
“I may not be into sports, but I’m into him.” Satomi nodded towards the curly-headed #15.
“Kiyoomi? I should’ve known. He never talks, and that’s exactly your type.” Himari said, laughing when all she received was a smirk in response.
“What about you, Himari? Who's your type on the team?” Sakura asked.
“Don’t have one.” Himari shot her down immediately.
“I can see you with Shugo, Hima!” Satomi enthused.
“You girls are impossible. I shouldn’t have come.” Himari sighed, standing up to leave. This was a waste of her time after all.
“Hey dumbass, duck before you get hit!” Someone shouted. Himari turned to see a ball flying her way. Her fight or flight failed her, and their less popular sister ‘freeze’ presented herself at what had to be the worst time possible. She closed her eyes, awaiting the object’s brash introduction to her face.
Yet, it never came.
Instead, she heard cheers all around her. When Himari opened her eyes, she came face to face with a man much taller than her holding a ball and donning a dazzling smile.
“You okay?” He asked, his bleach blonde hair drenched in sweat.
Himari nodded frantically, unable to do anything but sit back down.
The game quickly resumed, but the swift movements on the court did very little to slow the thumping of Himari’s heart.
They stayed until the ball rolled off the court and into the team manager’s hands. The girls kept in close proximity to each other as the whole gym attempted to shuffle through the double doors.
“Sooo…Hima…”
Himari sighed. Nothing good ever came when Satomi used that tone of voice. “Yes, Satomi.” She replied flatly.
“I saw that smile Atsumu gave you. What do you think?”
Atsumu. So that was his name.
“I’m appreciative of him catching the ball before I lost my face. That’s it.”
Satomi groaned. “Seriously? Not even a little interested? He was totally checking you out! You guys would be so cute together! Star volleyball player and academic prodigy!” She said dreamily. “Even if it isn’t Atsumu, maybe somebody else? “Come on, Hima. Surely you must be into somebody on the team!”
Knowing she couldn’t get herself out of this conversation any other way, Himari said:
“Negative. Nobody wants to deal with guys that can’t take anything but volleyball seriously, anyway. Why would I want to deal with that?”
Ever since that day, Atsumu kept his distance despite his feelings. After all, pining after a girl that saw athletes as a waste of time surely wouldn’t end well for him, right? Yet, the young setter just couldn’t shake how he felt. He observed her on her way to class, greeting professors in the hallways. He noticed how she took the time after class to help others with the material. He even ran into her occasionally feeding the stray dogs in town. Surely someone like that couldn’t possibly dislike sports players for such a futile reason…?
But that’s what she said.
His stupid brain reminded him every time his eyes lingered. Every time he found himself laughing at the jokes she’d tell her friends right before class began. Every time she wore that one skirt to class that flowed just a little too fluidly when she twirled around-
“Athlete. Not her type. Right.” Atsumu mumbled to himself, snapping out of his thoughts.
He walked the halls, nearly walking past a group of students putting up a large sign near the entrance.
Don’t Kiss, Just Tell! Do you have someone you’ve always wanted to confess to, but just couldn’t bring yourself to? Let it all out in a radio message! Tell them everything you like about them, and leave nothing out. Calls are accepted both identified or anonymous. Will you be brave enough to proudly profess your love? Who knows, you might just land yourself a Valentine… Courtesy of the A/V Club
Atsumu read the number and date at the bottom of the poster. The event was two days from now.
“Thinking of finally manning up and confessing to your genius girlfriend?” A familiar voice said behind him.
Atsumu rolled his eyes and turned around to face his gray-haired brother. “Fuck off. I was just reading it.”
“It might work if you ask me. You’re so obvious she’ll realize it’s you even if you stay anonymous, she’ll marry you out of pity and your future kids will have a fighting chance at being smarter than you.” Osamu listed off his reasons only to barely dodge the punch Atsumu sent his way.
“Sheesh, tough crowd.”
Atsumu laid in bed that Friday night, twirling his phone idly. It was radio show night, and “Don’t Kiss, Just Tell!” was in full swing. There were multiple, rather public displays of affection, including some loser from the soccer team practically objectifying some poor girl, insisting he wanted to “see them tiddies.” That one nearly made Atsumu cut the broadcast off altogether. He wouldn’t blame Himari for hating someone like that.
The small device in his hand buzzed, his brother’s name appearing on the screen.
Samu: haven’t heard you profess your love yet, Romeo
Atsumu rolled his eyes, of course Osamu was tuned in while working at his on-campus stall and anticipating his contribution.
Atsumu: don’t you have customers to attend to?
O: it’s this pretty little thing called multitasking. Call the show! Unless you want someone else to call about her.
The boy sighed, sitting up. He definitely didn’t want that. But what was he going to say? What if he sounded stupid? Atsumu wondered if Himari was even listening.
No. It didn’t matter if she was listening. There was the option to be anonymous, so he could just call in, get these feelings off his chest, and move on from the one-sidedness of whatever this was.
Atsumu’s fingers tapped his phone screen in quick succession before his brain could catch up and potentially stop them.
“Wooo! Everyone settle down and listen up because we have another caller!” Fuck.
“Caller, either state your name or speak your mind! Either way, no judgment here. Just say what feels right!”
Atsumu didn’t give his brain time to second guess itself OR time to think of what to say.
“Well, I’m not sure what to say, but I guess I can start at the beginning. The first time I ever noticed this person was in the middle of a match. I was frustrated as the odds weren’t in the team’s favor at the moment. I was close to losing it until I saw you. It was the first time I’d smiled since the game started,” He rambled, trying his best to keep any specific details out. “Ever since that day, I can’t get you out of my mind. You walk through the halls, laughing with your friends and you’re the only person I see. Your laugh is quickly becoming my favorite song. Professors announce the highest marks on recent tests and your name is called every time. Of course it is, you’re so smart. With that level of intelligence, I wouldn’t even blame you for being stuck up or presumptuous, but you’re not. You take time out of your day to help people that are confused and you’re so patient. I even see you tending to the stray dogs in the area, and it warms my heart how sweet you are.” Atsumu sighed. He was sure people were sick of him, but it felt impossible to stop once he opened the floodgates. “I’ve longed to get to know you for months, but I doubt you’d ever like me back. So, I just wanted to speak on my feelings so I can move on.”
“Excuse me, but if I can just interject.” The host spoke up. “Are you sure you don’t want to identify yourself? This is the most genuine confession we’ve heard all night!”
“Uhh, yeah. I’m good, man. I’d love to treat her the way she deserves, but I don’t think she’d go for a guy like me.”
“Do you at least want to say your crush’s name? They should at least know they’ve made someone feel this way.”
Atsumu hesitated. He hadn’t thought about revealing who Himari was. Should he? It’s not like she’d figure out who it was regardless.
No. Himari is a pretty reserved person. She wouldn’t like her name attached to such a public announcement. She barely enjoyed the praise in class. Also, wouldn’t naming her make it seem like Atsumu wants to seduce her? His intention was purely to get it off his chest.
“Are you still there?” the host asked, yanking the blond-haired man out of his internal dilemma.
Without responding, Atsumu lowered the phone from his face, hitting the red button.
“That’s the end of that.” He mumbled.
Buzz.
Buzz.
Himari tossed and turned in bed, sighing deeply. Her phone had been going off for the past hour, and she’d been waiting patiently for it to die down so she could go back to sleep because who could possibly be bothering her at 9 AM on a Saturday?
The buzzing subsided for a while, and Himari thought she was in the clear. Until she heard her ringtone, that is.
She slammed her pillow on her head, screaming into the muffled void.
She checked the screen. “Satomi, what do you want?”
“Come open the door.”
Himari shot up from the bed. “There’s no way you’re at my house right now.”
The banging on the front door was confirmation enough. Trudging out of bed, she swung it open to reveal her two best friends on the other side.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
“You weren’t answering the phone.” Satomi brushed past her, making a beeline for the living room.
“That’s because if you’re having an emergency, you need to call the police.” Himari fell back on the sofa, closing her eyes.
“It’s not that kind of emergency, Hima. Did you listen to the A/V club’s episode last night?” Sakura asked.
“You know I don’t listen to that mess.”
“That means you missed your love confession, then.” Satomi mused.
“My what?”
“Allegedly, Satomi.” Sakura side eyed the younger girl. “Hima, listen to the recording. We really think this could be about you.”
Himari watched as her friends pressed play.
“The first time I ever noticed this person was in the middle of a match.”
“Professors announce the highest marks on recent tests and your name is called every time.”
“You take time out of your day to help people that are confused and you’re so patient.”
“How do you know it’s about me? He never said a name. He didn’t even say his own!”
“But,” Satomi raised her finger in the air, “He did say the first time he saw her was during a match where he was losing. Our team has either been losing or lost at all the matches you’ve been to.” She pauses. “Hmm, on second thought, maybe you’re the problem.”
Himari ignored Satomi’s sly remark. “Lots of girls are there…”
“But most girls that are there, Sakura and I included, have been there before. It sounds like this guy’s first encounter with the girl was recent, so of all of us, who could that be? The girl that just recently started going to matches or girls he sees on the regular?” Satomi raised an eyebrow and nodded toward her friend.
“So,” She started, choosing her words carefully, “If the confession’s about me…now what?”
She sighed as she saw smiles spread across her friends’ faces. “Oh my gosh…” Sakura leaned forward, her chin resting in her hand.
“I knew it!” Satomi shot up from her seat. “I knew you liked someone on the team! You couldn’t peel your eyes away from the court that day! I even tried to get you to admit it but you spewed some nonsense about not wanting to deal with any athletes. But then you kept going to matches with us! Why would you come if there’s no benefit? Who is it? Tell us!”
Sakura yanked Satomi back down on the couch, giving her a look when she complained. “Do you like someone on the team, Hima?” She asked.
Himari fidgeted in her seat, thinking back to the first time she saw Atsumu. The way he swooped in and caught the ball so effortlessly, tossed it to his spiky-haired teammate, and then turned to her with the brightest smile before asking if she was okay. Himari was even sure he was glowing. How the heck do you even glow midway into a volleyball match?
But that was just it. The Atsumu she knew was a star player. He was outgoing, brash, and a jokester. Surely, he’d never sound like the dejected caller from last night that sounded so unsure of themselves, right?
“I do, but I don’t think this is him.”
“Huh? Are you sure?” Satomi asked, pouting when Hima nodded, “I was hoping for a perfect love story. Two people crushing on each other coming together for a whirlwind romance!” She exclaimed.
“Well, why don’t we try tracking down who it is? Even if it isn’t the guy you like, maybe you’ll gain a friend? Something more?” Sakura asked.
Already feeling like her friends aren’t going to let this go, she shrugged and looked up at them:
“How do we do that?”
“Thanks, Atsumu!”
The blond smiled, waving the customer off before sitting on the small stool for a break. Osamu had run off to see some girl, leaving his twin in charge of his on-campus food stall.
Must be nice, Atsumu thought.
The past week had been…interesting, to say the least. Atsumu had to endure his teammates’ pestering as well as his brother’s teasing from his confession. The whole team wanted to know who had stolen the star setter’s heart. Atsumu didn’t entertain the conversation (He did, however, make Bokuto promise to not say anything when he guessed correctly as to who it was.)
All Atsumu wanted to do was head home and wallow study, but here he was selling onigiris while his brother was off falling in love somewhere. He sighed, resting his head on his arm atop of the counter.
“Just go ask, Hima.”
Atsumu’s ears perked up. That sounded like Himari’s best friend, which means…
He peeked out the corner of his eye, and there she was. Dressed in a hot pink crop top that revealed her melanin-kissed midriff, light blue jeans and white sneakers, her high ponytail swayed back and forth as she approached Kaito, a guy Atsumu recognized from his Psychology class.
“Hi! Kaito, right? This might seem really awkward but it’s about the radio episode from last week…”
Atsumu watched as Himari mentioned his confession to another guy, asking if it was from him. So she had heard it. Atsumu was conflicted on if he should feel happy that she heard it, or sad that she hadn’t figured out it was him. Did she really think Kaito was the type of guy to pour his heart out like that? Did she like Kaito? Had she spoken to any of the other guys? Why hadn’t she come to ask him yet?
He pulled the hat further down onto his head, covering his eyes. As much as he wanted to go over there and admit it was him, he already made up his mind that he would let it go. How could he be so sure her reaction would be positive? For all he knew, she was probably prepared to tell Kaito off. Maybe it was for the best that she hadn’t suspected him. He watched her walk back to her friends and leave the area before calling Osamu:
“Get back here before I close your stall for the day, I’m going home.”
Himari rubbed her temples as she shut off the radio show. She spent the past two weeks talking to more classmates than she ever had since orientation. She was met with many confused expressions from students either wondering why she thought it was them or why she was sure this person was talking about her. In the end, she resorted to listening to the radio special in hopes that the confessor would change his mind and call back to either reveal who he was, who he admired, or in an ideal situation: both.
Of course, this was to no avail. All she heard was call after call of people using cheesy pick-up lines and practically begging to not spend tomorrow alone. Himari walked over to her front door, slipping her sneakers on for a quick walk to the convenience store. Maybe some fresh air would calm her thoughts.
She zipped up her coat as she turned the corner, watching how the snow settled on the treetops and glittered on the roofs of the cars.
I wonder how the dogs are holding up, she wondered. She made a mental note to stop by on her way back. The bell rang as she stepped through the threshold, signaling her arrival. She waved at the cashier as she headed to the fridge, grabbing a few drinks and some ice cream to eat at home. Noticing the dog food on sale, she grabbed a few to take with her.
“Nice to see you again, Hima!” The cashier smiled, scanning her items. “Heading to see the dogs today?”
“Yep! Just for a bit. I wanna see how they’re doing in the snow.”
“Oh! Take this with you. They can use this.” She turned to a small cubby area, procuring a fluffy, gray blanket. “I don’t use it much so don’t worry about it. It’ll keep them warm.” She handed the blanket over along with Himari’s purchases and receipt.
“This is amazing, they’re going to love this. Thank you so much!”
“Don’t mention it, see you next time!”
The snow had let up a bit, but Himari still made haste to the small alleyway where she usually found the dogs. She walked in, but instead of hearing the usual barks and pitter patter of paws heading towards her from them, she saw open, half-eaten tins of food. She saw the wagging tails of the dogs who were facing away from here.
And she saw very distinct bleach blond hair peeking out of a black hoodie.
“Leave me alone.”
“She’s been running around campus trying to figure out who you are, and you still think you don’t even have the tiniest chance?” Osamu asked.
Atsumu pinched the bridge of his nose. Osamu had been following him around the house, pestering him about his inactivity in the matter. He just couldn’t understand how his extremely outgoing brother was suddenly taking a vow of silence regarding his feelings.
Atsumu grabbed his keys off the hook. “I’m going out for a walk.”
“I’ll come with you.” Osamu said.
“I’d rather take my shoes and socks off and walk through your collection of Legos.” He replied, slamming the door on his way out and ignoring his brother’s giggles.
He walked aimlessly for quite some time, pulling his hood over his head at the first sign of snowfall.
Is Osamu right? Isn’t just leaving her be the right thing to do? He thought to himself. It’s true that he’s never been the type to back down, but is that really the best course of action with someone he likes this much? Or maybe, his focus should be on proving to her that her thoughts about athletes are wrong. He can care about more things than just volleyball. That’s it! He’d prove her wrong and when she’s finally seen the truth, he’ll-
Atsumu was dragged out of his thoughts by a strong thump against his leg. He looked down to see a brown-fur dog wagging its tail at him.
“Now what are you doing out here in the snow like this, huh?” He smiled, leading the dog back into the alleyway. He noticed the other dogs sitting next to a trash can, also getting wet from the snow.
Finding a discarded wooden door, Atsumu laid it atop of the trash cans, giving the dogs a roof.
“There you go, that should be good enough at least for tonight. You’re probably hungry, huh? Should I get you something to eat?” Atsumu laughed at the increased wagging at the mention of food. He ran to the store around the corner, coming back with a few cans of dog food.
“Hmm, come to think of it, doesn’t Hima usually feed you guys? I guess it makes sense that she didn’t come out in the rain.” He crouched down, watching the dogs dig in. “How crazy would that be, running into her here?” He laughed to himself.
One of the dogs suddenly ran out of the makeshift doghouse, darting down the alley.
“Hey, where’re you going? You’ll get wet!” He called out until he noticed the dog stop just shy of a pair of white sneakers. The same brand he saw Hima wearing earlier that week.
His eyes fluttered upwards to meet a round, brown pair. “Oh, shit.”
“It’s you.” She said.
“Sorry?” He asked, finding his way back to his feet.
How did Himari ever think it was anyone else? “‘The first time I ever noticed this person was in the middle of a match.’ The first time I ever went to a volleyball match, you saved me from a ball to the face. ‘ Professors announce the highest marks on recent tests and your name is called every time.’ You congratulated me last time that happened. You even mentioned me feeding the stray dogs, and here you are! Oh my gosh, it’s you.” She blurted out, taking a step closer.
Atsumu scratched the back of his neck. “Yeah, I heard you’ve been looking for me everywhere. I’m sorry.”
Himari furrowed her eyebrows. “Wait, why are you apologizing? Wait, wait, if you knew I was looking for you, why didn’t you just say something? I ended up in the awkwardest conversations looking for you.” Himari’s face contorted into one of disbelief.
Atsumu laughed softly, finding her adorable in the moment. “I thought it was better this way. I knew you wouldn’t like me.”
“You said that in the call, too! Why wouldn’t I like you?”
It was Atsumu’s turn to look confused. “ …You said so. You said nobody wants to deal with guys that take volleyball seriously. That same day you were talking about.” He said, pointing at the much shorter girl.
Hima stared at him blankly before it clicked. She scoffed, looking off to the side. All this time, the guy she liked thought she didn’t like him for some off-topic comment she made to Satomi.
“I didn’t mean it that way. I just wanted Satomi to leave me alone. I had just developed my crush on you, and I knew if I had admitted it right then and there, I’d never hear the end of it. I never meant for you to hear that. It’s not true. I’m sorry.” She looked down, focusing on the gravel below.
Atsumu disregarded her apology completely, a dazed look on his face. “You…what?”
“Huh?”
“Say it again.”
“Say what?”
Atsumu groaned. Now was not the time for miscommunications. “What you just said. I need to hear it again.”
Oh. He meant that. “I…developed a crush on you that day. I’ve liked you ever since.” She felt heat rising across her cheeks as she spoke.
“Huh,” Atsumu said incredulously. “I can’t believe I owe that idiot an apology.” He mumbled.
“What idiot?” Hima asked.
“Can I walk you home?” Atsumu said abruptly. “Please?”
“Oh.” She said, surprised. “Yeah, I’d like that.”
They left the blanket for the dogs, deciding that Himari should take the rest of the food home to give to them another day. They made the short walk back to her building, squeezing themselves into the small hallway leading to the lobby.
“I can’t believe you liked me back this entire time. I should’ve just said something.” He shook his head.
Himari smiled. “That makes two of us. Well, this is me.” She motioned to the lobby.
“Right! Well, good night! I’ll see you tomorrow.” He smiled, turning to the door.
She giggled. “Really? You’re just going to leave?”
Atsumu turned back to face her.
“Aren’t you forgetting something?” She laughed harder when she saw the mental gymnastics visibly etched on his face. “Think about what day tomorrow is. There’s a very specific question to be asked.”
A lightbulb went on in Atsumu’s head. “Ah! Um…” He tugged at the sleeves of his coat. “Right, um..Hima?”
“Yes?” She asked, loving how her nickname rolled off his tongue.
“Can I be your Valentine?”
She smiled. “I’d love to.”
A rosy hue dusted Atsumu’s cheeks, reaching the back of his neck. “Wow. Okay. Well, as your Valentine, can I make a small request?”
“What’s that?”
“Maybe, tomorrow when we inevitably go on a date, you could probably wear that skirt you wear sometimes? The really flowy one with the slit?”
Himari quirked an eyebrow. She knew exactly what skirt he was talking about. “Hmmm, for you, I think that can be arranged.”
“Yeah?” He stepped closer.
“Yeah.” She closed the gap between them.
“I’m quite the lucky guy, then.” He whispered.
“You have no idea. Even though you had no hope of this working out, you still got your radio romance.” Her eyes fell to his lips.
Atsumu took this opportunity to press them against her own, sighing in relief like he’d been holding in the urge this entire time. Maybe he was. He gave her pout a few chaste pecks before resting his forehead against hers. They both let out a soft laugh before their lips found each other again.

Hetalia- Selfoss
What's this? Lilly posting a new fic so soon after the last one? It's more likely than you think.
This was an old Nordipalooza submission from 2020 that I ended up discarding during the event. The prompt from this was 'Sweden, Iceland - Folklore'. Back when I was researching for this prompt, I ended up on a tourism website that talked about how a town called Selfoss was supposedly haunted by ghosts so I knew immediately that's where I wanted to set the story. I was having a hard time getting started though and after two incomplete drafts, I tossed them and picked a different prompt. This weekend I finally decided to finish them off.
Sweden and Iceland sadly don't have a lot of interaction but I get the feeling that Ice is most comfortable with Sweden just on the sole fact that he doesn't treat him like a child. Therefore he gets to be a bit more relaxed and not always cool and reserved like he is with the rest of the Nordics. I hope Hima expands on their relationship in a future strip.
Also, I hope I'm not the only person who headcanons both Ice and Nor as photographers! They've got some of the best places for a hobby like that. :D
If you'd prefer to read this fic on Ao3 instead, you can check it out here.
Hope you all enjoy it! Summary: During a trip to see the northern lights near the Icelandic town of Selfoss, Sweden couldn’t shake off the feeling that he was being watched.
----
No matter how much he tried, Sweden couldn’t shake off the feeling that he was being watched.
He questioned if it was all in his head. Hundreds of people, mainly avid photographers, were gathered here by the river near the town of Selfoss to catch a glimpse of the northern lights. Iceland stood across from him and didn’t seem to have a care in the world. He was too focused on setting up his equipment and running a few test shots with his camera pointed toward the skies. The boy had a good head on his shoulders. If anyone could sense if something was off, it would be him.
Yes, it was definitely all in his head. The ghost museum they had visited in Stokkseyri must have let his imagination get ahead of itself.
The show of lights slowly began and Sweden tried to keep his mind occupied by splitting his attention between the skies and his fellow Nordic. Sitting on a reddish-brown fleece blanket, Sweden felt over-dressed with his heavy navy blue peacoat and black leather gloves. After leaving the museum earlier in the day, he was struck with a chill that he couldn’t shake off. Meanwhile, Iceland was dressed lightly in a brown spring jacket with no gloves at all. Almost everyone else wore similar clothing.
“Aren’t ya cold?”
“Not at all. I’m surprised you are though. Don’t tell me you can’t handle a little cold in your old age Sví!”
Sweden rolled his eyes but the comment got the both of them chuckling. With just the two of them together, Iceland seemed more laid-back and less hesitant to hide his playful side. He’s sure Iceland doesn’t mean to, but Sweden noticed over the years that Iceland would quickly become uncomfortable and reclusive whenever Denmark and Norway (and to some degree Finland too) became overbearing with their ‘big brother’ personalities. He just wanted to be treated like an adult alongside the rest of them.
He understands that well. After all, Denmark did it to him when they were small children—despite the three of them frequently arguing over who was the oldest. Those arguments died the moment Iceland entered their lives.
So Sweden does just that. He still dotes on him—albeit more subtly than the others do. But in return, he is rewarded to hear more in-depth things about Iceland’s life. Just on this trip alone, he has heard of the late-night calls with Indonesia, the camping trip in Hiiumaa with the Baltics, and the coffee dates with Liechtenstein in Vaduz. He felt grateful that Iceland could trust him like that.
Snap. Snap. Snap.
The colours quickly grew more intense. Shades of green, blue, and purple danced across the sky and their colours reflected against the river below. Loud gasps of delight erupted from the crowd on the ground. Iceland was mesmerized by the sight. Even though he had seen this millions of times, it never failed to put his mind at ease. Any worries he had about his life would immediately wash away. With a hand placed on his left shoulder, Sweden surprised Iceland by coming up close at his side. The average person would never be able to tell, but he could see that tiny grin form on Sweden’s face. He was just as ecstatic to see the lights as he was.
“Gettin’ some good shots?”
“Yeah,” he nodded before he returned his focus to the camera. “The multicoloured lights always make the best shots.”
Sweden tucked his hands into his coat pockets. He watched him work and noted how meticulous Iceland was with each shot. Seeing him like this reminded him so much of Norway, right down to the focused but elated expressions. Norway was also a photographer who loved to shoot landscapes just like him. But Sweden would never dare say that out loud. Iceland would quickly get annoyed whenever comparisons arose between him and his brother, even as a joke.
We’re nothing alike. Don’t say dumb things like that.
He kept his comments to himself and continued staring up at the skies. He didn’t need to ruin the perfect day they’d had together.
The lights had lasted for around twenty minutes when dark clouds began rolling through. Everyone in the crowd knew it was their sign to call it a night. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The camera Iceland had been using throughout their trip had begun flashing a warning that the battery was running low. Sweden helped him pack his equipment and get the bags into Iceland’s trunk. The blanket Sweden used earlier remained unfolded and got tossed into the backseat. With everything packed, they were ready for the hour’s drive back to Reykjavík.
But there it was again. That feeling that someone was watching. Sweden was so certain about it.
“What’s wrong?” Iceland asked. Sweden was leaning against the open passenger door as he searched around the pitch-black landscape. He wasn’t sure what he was looking for, just that it was something.
“We’re bein’ watched…”
“Huh? From what?”
“Dunno but—”
Laughter.
A child’s laughter.
It was such a high-pitched noise that rang inside his ears. He hated that he couldn’t see where it was coming from. There were no streetlights in this part of the country. The only light visible came from the inside of Iceland’s car and the headlights of others as many began driving away from the scene and onto the main road.
Sweden’s frustrations hit a boiling point. He reached into the glove compartment and pulled out a black flashlight. He slowly made his way toward the river. Iceland tried to call him back however Sweden ignored his pleas. A frustrated sigh fell from his lips, “I'm never taking you to that ghost museum ever again,” He had no choice but to follow behind him.
Sweden hadn’t noticed earlier that the water was much lower than he had anticipated. Boulders of various shapes and sizes poked through the water, especially along the shoreline. He swung his flashlight around and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. The mysterious sounds of laughter from before had also disappeared. Was it his mind playing tricks on him again?
“Did ya happen to hear a child laughin’ earlier?”
“A child?” Iceland pondered, “The crowd was mostly full of photographers but I’m sure I saw a few families with small kids there. Maybe it was that you were hearing?”
Sweden made a disgruntled grunt as he appeared furious with himself. He hated how out of character this was for him. He could never recall a moment in time when he acted this paranoid before.
But on the furthest rock to his left, his flashlight picked up something stuck against one of the boulders. The two men investigated and discovered it was a small grey blanket. They had wondered if it was forgotten by one of the families from earlier. Upon closer inspection though, they noticed it was covered in mud, the material looked faded, and the bottom tip of the blanket had been submerged into the water. It was clear it had been here for some time.
“Sví, we should go. There’s no one here,” Iceland said as he tugged on Sweden’s arm. “We have a long drive ahead of us.”
It looked as if Sweden had finally come to his senses and the two men walked back to the car. But Iceland took one more look over his shoulder. Near the river, a small child stood there in a white gown. A short blond boy, possibly no older than three, hugged the dirty grey blanket that Sweden discovered earlier. Iceland put a finger to his lips and shook his head. The little boy’s smile turned to an angry frown and disappeared towards the water.
Iceland was open to sharing many things about his life with Sweden. But the stories of the spirits that inhabited this part of his home were not one of them. No one needed to know he could see things that mortals could not. He was determined to keep it that way.

Boruto: Tenchijin Chapter Four; Inevitable Reunion
Genre: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Action
Summary: More side characters struggle with daily routine and work while the antagonist shows a glimpse of his motives.
Date:Jan.20th 2042
"Hyaa!" Himawari rotates around herself at incredible speed to deflect the rivers of venomous insects, another torrent of insects coming from under the ground to attack the defenseless young girl inside the chakra-made hemisphere. Himawari screams as her body is slammed on the ground so hard that the people around can hear her bones crack.
"You missed your shot, Shino." Kiba teases his old friend, grinning. Himawari's body is substituted with an explosive tag that blows up and burns down Shino's bugs, annoying him because he cares for the bonds he forms with each insect of his.
"You little-" Shino murmurs, gritting teeth and gathers his summon animals inside of his grey trenchcoat, not affording to lose a single precious tiny little friend of his for a sparring match.
"This party's getting crazy!" Kiba shouts, stretching out his arms and warms up. "Let's rock, Akamaru!"
"Woof!" Akamaru barks, goes into the fighting stance, prepared to flex his seamless cooperation with Kiba.
"Yay! Go get her, Uncle Kiba!" Mirai screams, cheering up her mother's beloved former pupil.
Eight trigrams vacuum palm!
Himawari shots numerous vaccuum sheels at Kiba and Shino, who evade her attacks without having to look behind.
Himawari's skill with gentle fist style greatly improving during these three years and having been promoted to chunin rank, being renowned as the prodigy of her generation.
Fang over fang!
Kiba and Akamaru move so fast they appear to be blurs in Himawari's eyes, leaving thousands of afterimages as they crawl on ground and spin around Himawari, the man-beast duo attack her from opposite-angles, Kiba from front and Akemaru from behind.
"Gaah!" Himawari lets out a cry of agony and before her body touches the ground, Mirai catches her. Himawari takes brief moments to recover from the injuries inflicted on her and finally stands on her feet without Mirai's help.
"That was a reckless act. You could've paralyzed her." Shino insists.
"I'm a veteran shinobi, man. I know i'm not as smart as you are but i can tell the difference between sturdy kunoichi and fragile child. Besides, i'm a jonin for god's sake. If i couldn't control my chakra properly then i'd be no more than the sore loser i was back then in academy." Kiba responds.
"I mean Uncle Kiba has a point." Mirai says.
"Why would you only cheer for him and not me?" Shino asks Mirai, who pouts and blushes, having no excuse for her deed.
"Someone's jealous." Kiba teases Shino, walking toward Himawari and pats her on top of the head. "Keep it up. You were amazing."
"But is that enough?" Himawari murmurs.
"Hima..." Mirai whispers.
"I am pretty sure that i can't catch up to Boruto. Not like this." Himawari continues.
"Do you really believe that Boruto can be redeemed?" Shino asks the young hyuuga.
"I have this feeling that tells me my parents are still alive... and safe..." Himawari says. "If my father were here, he'd have thought of nothing but chasing Boruto to the ends of the world... to bring him home. At very least he'd have tried his best, because that's the right thing." Himawari adds.
"Of course you'd say that." Kiba smiles. "Don't forget that my friend was forgiving, i'd dare say that she was even more of a weirdo than your dad in my eyes."
"Yeah..." Himawari says.
"About the other question, even i am not ready for that Code and his herd of beasts. Naruto and Sasuke aren't here, neither is your Tsubasa-sensei. Sometimes i wonder if i can make it out alive when they invade konoha?" Kiba states, sitting crosslegged infront of Himawari.
"You dummy!" Tamaki yells at Kiba, punches him on top of the head. "Button it!"
"Ouch!" Kiba grunts. "That's gonna leave a mark."
"Kurenai-san always talked about how you were the most arrogant kid in your generation and now look at you... How tragic." A teenage girl speaks.
"Mother and daughter woke up and decided to gang up on daddy." Kiba rubs the spot where his wife landed the hit as he is standing up.
"You are used to be the pride of you-our clan. For god's sake, don't let people look down on you." The girl says, approaching Kiba. "I want everyone to say nothing bad about my dad. Aren't you the coolest dad in the world?"
"I'm not sure. Maybe if you'd-" Kiba is interrupted as the younger girl scolding him wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him on cheek. "Ugh. I needed that."
"You're welcome." Kiba's daughter giggles.
"Thanks very much, Kitsuna-chan." Kiba says, holding his daughter in arms.
Kitsuna Inuzuka, fifteen years old, one hundred fifty nine centimeters tall, a girl of golden complexion with light brown hair and light yellow eyes, having an athletic body and relatively muscular compared to her peers including those of opposite gender. Kitsuna is blunt but shy, energetic but only when it's for what she deems to be fun like sparring with her parents and cooking, and she derives great pleaaure eating and or drinking spicy hot stuff. Kitsuna does enjoy socializing but hates unwanted physical contact and the chances she'd rip a poor soul's eyes out for touching her isn't low.
"Shino-kun." Shino turns around to see the lady uttering his name with endearment.
"Shiho." Shino embraces his wife in a gentle hug. "Don't push yourself too hard."
"Nuh-oh. I'm a workaholic maniac in a league of my own. There is no stopping me." Shiho insists.
"Imagine you not losing to these little babies." A girl with deep voice mutters, holding a sweets box in her hands.
"Yokan!" Shiho licks her lips as she spots her fave dessert is waiting for her.
"I can tell that you got heart eyes seeing them." Shino mutters, puts his hand on Shiho's shoulder.
"Are they all mine?" Shiho asks the girl that carries her favorite meal.
"Only if you promise to come home and have dinner with us." The girl says.
"You mean-oh! of course..." Shiho rubs her nose. "Okay, deal!"
"Here." The girl hands over the sweets box to Shiho who rushes to open it and put one yokan in her mouth, passionately chewing the heavenly slice as her cheeks burn up.
"You. Are. My. Savior. Hiei-chan!" Shiho confesses, pinching her daughter on cheek.
"I know, right?" Hiei shrugs off her shoulders, proud of herself.
"Thank you, Hiei." Shino says, pats Hiei on her back.
"Mhm." Hiei beams and her glowing eyes visible despite her wearing sunglasses.
Hiei Aburame, fiften years old, standing at one hundred sixty five centimeters tall, dark blonde hair and sky blue eyes, a lean girl of pale white complexion with a shade of gold. Hiei is introverted and geeky like her parents, precautious in nature which leads to her dealing with overwhelming perturbation.
.
.
.
"The last one." Hako mutters, as she transports the last of Code's iron claw marks to a separate dimension with Renga and Sai pressing palms of their hands against the kunoichi's back, channeling his chakra into her. Code's claw marks are spotted on konoha's outskirts on daily basis and it is upon Team Sai to seal them all away since Code's iron claw marks are indestructible and made of huge amount of compressed nature energy that makes it difficult for most of the skilled shinobi with large chakra reserves to take on such task.
Hako Kuroi and Renga Kokubo have been officialy promoted to Anbu rank and occasionally led by Houki Taketori on S-rank mission. Three years has passed since they were appointed as anbu, and around two years since Houki was chosen as the eighth hokage's bodyguard.
"I'm done." Raiga exhales, jumping on his feet. "I feel like i'm getting rusty if i keep doing this. Sai-senpai, when will lord eighth assign us to a classic mission where we could throw hands with some punks?"
"We might get one for the next weekend. I'm not sure so you can take this with a grain of salt." Sai states.
"Wonderful." Houki whispers with the exhausted look on her face.
Two jonins from guards patrol that watch over the village are passing behind Team Sai and look at the anbu squad.
"Good job." One of the jonins says.
"Don't move." Hako shouts, turns back immediately.
"What's the matter?" The other jonin asks.
Sai squad teleport to guards patrol's side, Sai himself grabs the jonins by back of their vests and pulls them.
"How did you not feel anything stuck on your skin?" Sai questions the confused duo.
"Th-that's impossible!" The older jonin in his early thirties with grey hair stutters.
"Oh,you don't say." Hako mocks the jonin.
"Take your vests off." Renga tells the jonins.
"Shit." The younger jonin in late twenties with blue hair murmurs.
The guards patrol duo take off their vests and shirts, Sai squad seal away the iron claws on their backs.
"I guess it's yet another mystical property of Code's claw marks." Hako speculates.
"That guy's a pain in the ass." Renga admits.
"He's worse. Much worse." Sai asserts.
.
.
.
It's been over three years since Code swore revenge and told Ada he'll have her fate in the palm of his hand once he becomes an Otsutsuki.
Three years since Code realize he needed to retreat and not only attain a power beyond measure, but also come up with a plan to eliminate those who are a nuisance to him.
There's no one in the existence who has gone through hell during this three years period of time to perfect themself and if they did, They have not pushed themself to limits the way Code did.
In order to defeat Boruto, Code took it upon himself to learn what it takes to be a shinobi as he was studying thousands of the books Isshiki left for him. Code chose the most difficult methods to strenghten both mind and body, and with his photographic memory and superior adaptation, He learnt how to neutralize almost any and all techniques as he visualized battles against the most competent fighters of the present time using his extraordinarily developed imagination, and attained immunity to most techniques that target the soul and mind.
Swoosh!
Code stands behind Kawaki, who is panting and covered in blood and sweats, frozen in his place.
"Pathetic bastard." Code is disgusted at sight of the heart in the palm of his hand, throws it away.
Kawaki falls on his knees the moment his stolen heart hits the ground, crimson rivers finding their way down from his coat. "The fuck..."
Code opens his eyes, exhaling deeply.
Raising on his feet, Code heads toward Juubi that is wrapped in iron claws and no longer struggling to break free. Code has come to conclusion that this beast has just accepted it's fate and that it's no chance against himself. Juubi cannot feel emotions at all. This being is unable to comprehend pain, envy, hate, love, sadness, disgust, and fear. It's merely incarnation of the abstract concept chaos, serving no purpose other than turning into a divine tree and bearing chakra fruit.
Code's might has eventually far exceeded that of Isshiki Otsutsuki at the height of his power, before being desperate enough to make Jigen as his vessel. Isshiki never could reclaim his lost strength, and once he had the opportunity, he met his doom.
Before falling short to his demise, Isshiki bestowed his will upon Code. Code's goal as the carrier of Otsutsuki God's will may be as unambigious as it can possibly be: Feed a pure-blooded otsutsuki to juubi, cultivate the same divine tree that draws chakra from the entire population of earth, the devour the chakra fruit it bears which will turn him into an otsutsuki god whose might surpasses that of Shibai Otsutsuki's when he transcended concepts of space and time. And then, not even Daemon would pose a threat to Code.
Code runs fingers through his hair with his left hand, slides it down to rub his neck gently, cracks his shoulders and inhales deeply. A grin appears on his face, satisfied with the results of his training, prepared to crush the two people he hates the most in this extistence.
"Ada...once i'm done with Boruto and Kawaki, our reunion will be inevitable..." Code murmurs, knowing well that the woman who backstabbed him is keeping a weather eye on him with her divine waxing moon orb.
"Hey." Mitsuki whispers in Ada's ear, stretching out his arm to rub her shoulder.
"Sometimes i look back and witness the way i treated Code... and then see how Kawaki keeps ignoring me..." Ada deactivates her senrigan and nods her head. "I think i know Code's pain..." Ada says, dropping her head.
"What do you think he'll do once he has you at his mercy?" Mitsuki asks Ada who turns to him with a worried expression on her face.
"I... i just..." Ada hugs herself as she imagines the possiblity of Code taking out all of his adversaries to have her in the palm of his hand, utterly vulnerable once he has become a full-fledged otsutsuki. "...He won't forgive me..."
"Do you really believe that the love Code has for you will fade away once he is not affected by your love charm?" Mitsuki asks Ada, turns to her and sees she is digging her arms with her fingernails, gently takes her trembling hands in holds them in his hands, she freezes at his cold touch.
"In his mind, i betrayed him... how could one forgive the person who has broken their heart?" Ada questions Mitsuki, locking gazes with him.
"Code has experienced this feeling before with Isshiki and he still has stayed true to Isshiki's ideals and obeys his god's will." Mitsuki responds.
"But i am not his god!" Ada shouts.
"Ada." Mitsuki whispers Ada's name in a gentle manner that calms her. "Love runs deeper than that. You might think that Code is only obsessed with you because he is bedazzled by your love charm but from what i hear from you, It doesn't seem like he is like the rest of people." Mitsuki continues.
"That is impossible..." Ada claims.
"Do you really mean that?" Mitsuki asks Ada again.
"What..?"
"Do you think that i don't love you from bottom of my heart?"
Mitsuki's words shock Ada and makes her doubt her perspective of the reality.
"I hope you really love me." Ada answers Mitsuki.
"For a very long time, i wondered if i could ever understand what love truly is. I befriended fellow classmates, spent time with my family. I can tell that that i don't wish to lose any of them but is this really love or merely a grand obsession?" Mitsuki confuses Ada once more.
"Is that the reason why you are so sad..?" Ada wonders.
"All i am saying is that Amado might be the reason you can't let go of Kawaki and look for someone who would cherish you." Mitsuki responds.
Ada is left speechless, and a part of her wants her to slap Mitsuki across the face, scream at him and scold him for being presumtous as he is. However, Ada takes a few moments to stay still and ponder to consider the possiblity of her emotions and mind having been altered by Amado. She is aware that Amado is capable of doing that but what is there for him to gain?
"Sorry..." Mitsuki murmurs, pulling Ada out of the sea of fears and doubts. "...For overstepping my boundaries." Mitsuki turns to side.
"Don't say that." Ada whispers, leaning onto Mitsuki's shoulder and rests her head on it as Mitsuki has often been the only who cares about her well-being. Mitsuki embraces Ada in shelter of his arm. Would he ever let anyone see the everlasting snow in his heart?

Pairing: Hanabi Hyūga/Konohamaru Sarutobi
Summary: They've never gotten along. How are they supposed to spend a vacation together?
Konohamaru braces himself to be tortured by Hanabi, not to fall in love with her.
July prompt: Enemies to Lovers
Rating: E for Smut
Chapter 1/5: Invitation
When Hanabi drops down from the top of the front gates of the Leaf Village with a pack strapped to her back, Konohamaru nearly turns on his heel and leaves.
“Oh, don’t look so frightened, Kono.” She reaches up to pat his head and he cringes away from her.
“Hm?” Hinata inquires, tilting her head at the two.
“Uhm…” Konohamaru darts his eyes over at Naruto who is grinning obliviously. “Big bro, you didn’t say…”
“Oh, yeah!” Naruto laughs, waving the group over. “Hinata invited Hanabi!”
“Big sister!” Himawari chirps as she bolts into Hanabi’s arms, who gladly picks her up and twirls her.
“Oh, someone’s glad to see me!” Hanabi responds brightly, holding the little girl above her head as she squeals in delight. When she plops her back on the ground, she raises her eyes to Konohamaru and furrows her eyebrows. “Unlike Kono.”
Konohamaru frowns purposefully low and sticks his tongue out at her. He catches the sight of her hand by her side with her middle finger up and he snorts. “Real nice, Hanabi.”
“I am nice, aw,” she sings, fingers rejoining the rest as she brings her hands to her cheeks, pushing them up so her eyes squint with a mocking smile. “Nice and cute, right?”
“Yes, of course.” Hinata nods, giggling. “Shall we?”
“You're happy to see me, aren’t you, Hima?” Konohamaru inquires, tilting his head down at the girl. She smiles and nods enthusiastically. He swiftly plucks her up now, too, and puts her on his shoulders. “More than big sis, right?”
“Huh?” Himawari asks with all the cutest naivety in the world while Hanabi glares at him.
“I wanna be carried!” Boruto whines, pouting up at Konohamaru. Before Hanabi can sneak in, Konohamaru's already swooping the boy up as well, tucking him under his arm.
“You’re gonna tire yourself out before we get there.” Naruto laughs, roughing his hand through Boruto’s hair.
“You’ll tire yourself out before we even make it out of the Leaf,” Hanabi quips quickly, smirking up at him. He huffs through his nose, refusing to pay her a look.
When Naruto asked him to come along on a vacation out to the Land of Waves, he hadn’t mentioned Hanabi would be there.
Well, he figured he had been invited mostly to keep an eye on Boruto and Himawari while Naruto and Hinata had some sort of alone time while they were there. He didn’t mind doing that, he enjoyed being around them. Now he knew it was a mistake to just assume things.
Hanabi and Konohamaru had never really gotten along.
Not that Hanabi ever let him show off what an amazing guy he is.
They graduated to genin at different times with Konohamaru being a year older, so they never really knew each other much before then.
Then she insisted on entering the chunin exams within a month of promotion to genin. Her sensei foolishly allowed this, and in the end, Konohamaru had been the one to beat her in the battle portion.
She never really let go of that.
And honestly, he never really felt bad about it, either.
It was the chunin exams. And it was nearly ten years ago, now!
They were adults, both in their twenties, and here she is, still holding onto something so petty. It's ridiculous, and he won’t be made to take pity on her. So he simply avoided her whenever possible, kept his distance if they missioned together, tried to make excuses to leave whenever she came around.
Of course, when Naruto and Hinata became an item, that became harder. A lot harder.
He almost resented the fact she drove a wedge in his relationship with Naruto. He was his big bro before she ever came into the picture, and now she acted like she’d been there the whole time. Like she deserved to intrude on their time. It was rude!
Once, Naruto suggested they go on a date when they were in their late teens.
They responded with a resounding refusal.
“HELL NO!”
“Absolutely NOT .”
It was probably the first time they were on the same page, both hurling glares at Naruto as he laughed at them.
Then, of course, Boruto would get involved.
“Aunt Temari and Uncle Shikamaru are married…so are Aunt Ino and Uncle Sai. So you guys are married, too.”
“Boruto, if I ever hear that out of your mouth again, you may have no mouth left to speak with.”
Boruto was confused, so Hinata gently explained it to him.
As Himawari got older, she was expressing similar sentiments. Thankfully, she was still young and didn’t really understand anything about relationships outside of the scope of her mother and father, and they were able to get ahead of it before it would become a problem.
At Himawari’s fourth birthday, Naruto pointed out that Konohamaru and Hanabi were getting kind of close to each other, and Himawari immediately launched.
“THEY’RE JUST FRIENDS PAPA.”
Oh, that was embarrassing.
Also a little funny, because they weren’t even friends.
Yes, a vacation sounded nice, but now with Hanabi here, it was bound to be hell.
Konohamaru braces himself and ignores Hanabi’s smirking gaze.
Hanabi specifically accepted this invite because Konohamaru would be there.
She never missed the chance to mess with him, no matter what.
Assigned a diplomatic mission, but Konohamaru was headed the same way on a shinobi mission? They should go together!
Taking Mirai, Boruto, and Himawari to the Tanabata festival? Hanabi deserved to go as their aunt.
Moegi inviting her out for drinks? Would Konohamaru be there? She’d be there, too.
Her cousins never let her forget the Third’s scrappy grandson took her down in the chunin exams, so she’d never let him forget her, either.
Her bids to spar with him often went unanswered, and if he did answer, it was always to leave him alone.
Was it petty? Absolutely, and she knew it.
What compelled her? She reasoned revenge. But it had been nearly ten years now. Maybe there were other reasons, but she chose not to think on those. It didn’t matter.
Besides, he wasn’t so bad to look at. Once they got into their late teens, in fact, he became downright good to look at. So that didn’t hurt. Not that she’d ever, ever dare to tell him that.
She chose to let him think that when she stared at him, it was because he looked like an alien to her.
“Give me my nephew,” she demands once they were a few kilometers out, Hinata and Naruto further ahead chatting happily.
“No.” He turns his nose up at her as Boruto struggles under his arm.
“Yes!” Boruto calls back, “this doesn’t feel good!”
Hanabi raises her eyebrows expectantly as Konohamaru sighs, leaning down to put the boy on the ground.
“Come here, Boruto,” she beckons him, “come to your favorite!”
Boruto stops and looks up at both of them, confusion on his face.
“Don’t do it, Boruto,” Konohamaru warns, glaring down at the boy.
“Come!” Hanabi holds out her hands. “Come on!”
“Boruto…”
“Boruto!”
“You’re being weird!” Boruto cries, bolting past them to grab at his mother’s skirt. Hinata looks down curiously, then looks back at the two. Hanabi huffs irritably and crosses her arms while Konohamaru chuckles.
“You think it’s funny to turn my nephew against me?!” Hanabi snaps, resisting the urge to punch his shoulder while he carries her niece.
“Kind of funny, yeah.” He nods, eyeing her.
“You’re an asshole.”
Himawari gasps and covers Konohamaru’s ears. His grin is shit-eating. “Big sis! Mommy said those words are bad.”
“Actually, Hima,” Hanabi starts, tilting her head, “I think they’re completely appropriate when it comes to certain Sarutobi’s.”
“Huh?” Himawari leans forward, completely confused by what she had said.
“You’re dumb, you know that?” Konohamaru pulls one of Himawari’s hands from his ears while looking at Hanabi. “You always talk to them like they’re adults. They’re kids, Lady Heiress.”
“I told you to stop calling me that.”
“Lady Princess? Princess Heiress? Or just princess? You act like one.”
“Big sis is a princess!” Himawari chimes in brightly, beaming down at Hanabi. Despite her frustration, she smiles up at her niece.
“Regardless, you’re not good with kids,” he points out, “you frighten them.”
“Himawari.” Hanabi reaches up for her niece and pulls her off of Konohamaru who doesn’t put up much of a fight. She settles her on her hip.” Do I frighten you?”
Himawari is silent for a moment as she tilts her head. “Yes.”
Konohamaru howls.
“What?!” Hanabi gasps, “why?!”
“When your eyes get all big and pop.” Himawari points up at her face. “But I still love you!”
Hanabi sighs, shaking her head. She sets the girl down, ushers her away with a, “go to your father, Hima.”
“Okay!” Himawari skips ahead of them to catch up with the rest of the Uzumaki’s.
“Told you.” Konohamaru smirks that ugly smirk, resting his hands behind his neck. “Lady Hanabi Hyuga, terrorizing children everywhere she goes.”
“You’re a dick,” she huffs, looking away, “and soft. Maybe they love you so much because they can tell you’re just a weak idiot. They can take advantage of you.”
“That’s harsh.” He raises an eyebrow. “Wasn’t so soft when I took you down in the chūnin exams...”
Now she punches his arm and he recoils, hissing. “And you’ve never given me a rematch. I would bury you if you did, and that’s why you always say no.”
Konohamaru snickers, shaking his head.
“Coward.”
His laughter is quickly cut off and he frowns, glaring at her. “Don’t go there.”
“Go where?” she asks, innocently pulling her hands behind her back to clasp. “Point out that you're afraid? Afraid of the big bad Hyūga? Because you know she’d beat your ass?” His face is quickly turning red and it brings her a high amount of amusement. “You are a coward!”
“I’m gonna go ahead and quit this conversation now, before I do something I regret.”
“Mhm. Coward.”
“Hanabi…”
“Hm?”
“You’re a bitch.”
Now she laughs, loudly. “Excuse me?!”
Konohamaru stares at the ground with wide eyes.
Did that really come out of his mouth?
Couldn’t be. He’d never—
“Yeah, I said it.”
Oh gods. I’ll be dead within minutes.
Hanabi clicks her tongue and he feels her eyes boring a hole into him. “You’re right.”
“What?” He looks up, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion and anger. “The hell?”
“When did you grow balls, little Sarutobi?” She punches his arm lightly now, almost fondly, smirking up at him.
Konohamaru contemplates for a moment. “Moegi says that term is outdated.”
“Oh, right. We’re saying ovaries now.”
Now Konohamaru laughs, feeling a little more relaxed. “Uh—sorry. I didn’t mean it.”
“Sure you did.” She doesn't look at him. “And I mean it, too. You’re a coward.”
Konohamaru glares at her as she skips ahead to catch up with her sister.
Never mind.
A few hours later after avoiding interacting with her, halfway to the Land of Waves, they stop at a little village that specialized in tourism. Everything one could need for a trip to the coastal city: beach balls, surfboards, floaties, sunscreen, sand toys, and more. Hinata and Naruto left the kids in their care while they went to inspect the food stands.
Konohamaru has a funny idea.
“Since I’m your favorite,” he declares, causing both kids to look up at him as they stop in front of a bright, colorful toy store, “we’re gonna go in there and I’m buying you each whatever toy you want.”
“Really?!” Boruto gasps, and Himawari is already bolting into the store.
Hanabi lowers her eyes at him, he can see it in his peripheral, and he smirks, ushering Boruto in.
They follow the kids as they inspect toy after toy until Himawari lands on a large, stuffed giraffe.
“This one!” she proclaims. It's bigger than her. Konohamaru frowned.
“Well, actually…that’s kind of big to be carrying around, Hima. We’d have to carry it back…”
Hanabi cuts in, “I’ll get it for you, Hima.”
“Yay, big sister!” she squeals as Hanabi picked it up.
“Since I’m your favorite,” Hanabi speaks mockingly at Konohamaru as she crouches down, pushing the giraffe’s face to Himawari's cheek and making a kissing sound, “right?”
“Yes!” Himawari confidently says, throwing her arms around the giraffe.
“You’re carrying it,” Konohamaru scoffs, rolling his eyes.
“No, you are. You are the one who offered.” Hanabi shoves it into his arms and then goes after Boruto.
Konohamaru holds the giraffe in front of him and glares at it.
As Konohamaru pays for the toys the kids picked out, they exit together, and Hanabi beckons them. “Big sister is going to get you two ice cream!”
Hanabi smirks at Konohamaru’s look of disapproval.
“Ice cream, too?!” Boruto yells, eyes filled with wonder. Hanabi nods enthusiastically, leading them to an ice cream stand.
Boruto immediately points at the last item on the menu, a picture of a waffle cone topped with five different colored scoops of ice cream, whip cream, chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, and a cherry. Hanabi grimaces, avoiding Konohamaru’s knowing look. “Uhm, Boruto…you’ll never finish it, and you’ll get a tummy ache—”
“I’ll get it.” Konohamaru steps in, pulling out his coin pouch and Hanabi purses her lips, squinting at it.
“YES! Big bro for the win!” Boruto fist-pumps. She catches Konohamaru biting back a laugh as she scowls.
“Since I’m your favorite,” Konohamaru speaks in the same mocking tone she had used as he grasps the cone, then crouches in front of Boruto and offers it forward, “right?”
“Oh yeah!” Boruto greedily grabs the cone out of his hands and immediately bites into it.
“He’s going to be sick,” Hanabi growls toward him as she passes off a cup of strawberry ice cream to Himawari.
“And you’ll clean it up. You are the one who offered.” He looks at her, his grin wide.
Somehow, they had spent a good hour playing this game, indulging the children in too many presents and sweets until Hinata hastily collected them, scolding them for their recklessness.
They promptly broke off from one another without kids to look after, and Konohamaru finds himself inspecting a jewelry stand outside of a shop Hinata had gone inside with Himawari and Boruto. He examines it closely, trying to find the cheapest thing possible to bring back Moegi, who had insisted he find her a souvenir. He may like her better than Hanabi, but he wasn’t about to drop a chunk of change on some stupid accessory for her.
Then he hears whistling next to his head and a loud thud. On instinct, chakra begins flowing through his extremities as he jerks up to find the attacker—someone coming for Naruto?
His mouth drops open at the sight of Hanabi on top of a restaurant, crouched next to its chimney, grinning down at him.
“Oh my,” the woman running the stand whispers, having gone pale white at the attack, “is that a kunai? You—" She pointed at Konohamaru’s headband. “—shinobi! Leave, take your business elsewhere!”
Konohamaru ignores the woman as he turns to Hanabi, folding his arms. “Really, Hanabi?”
She snickers and hops from the roof of the restaurant to the roof of the shop next to the jewelry stand. “Fight me, Konohamaru Sarutobi!”
“You’re insane!” he yells back, instinctively reaching for his satchel, “we’re in civilian territory!”
“Spar, then!” she demands, standing tall with her hands on her hips. “Don’t be a coward!”
“You’re gonna learn a hard lesson if you keep saying that shit,” he shoots back, leaping onto the roof to shove his fingertip into her forehead. She promptly grabs the finger and twists, hard.
“Come on, Honorable Grandson.” She uses her other hand to grab his shoulder, forcing him down as he growls in frustration. “Teach me a lesson.”
Then she's on the hard ground below them, back slamming loudly. Everyone in the center of the village freezes.
He hops down and promptly puts his foot on her chest to restrain her. “Stay down, little Hyūga.”
“Oooh.” He didn’t expect the giggle and also didn’t expect to end up crashing into the jewelry stand.
No souvenir from this little village, he supposes.
Hanabi feels excitement bubble in her chest as she hops to her feet. She knows her eyes must look unhinged as she marches toward where Konohamaru lay in the broken wood. She plucks a sack of coins from her satchel and drops them in the old woman’s hands without even paying her a glance.
“This—this is unacceptable!” she cries. Then she opens the sack and her jaw fell. She promptly closes it, humming.
“You’re deranged,” he breathes as he peels himself up, all eyes still on the pair.
“Coward, coward, coward!” she proclaims far too proud, beaming at him as he stomps towards her, chakra flaring around his hands. She skips backward, ducking as he attempted to swipe at her. “Hit me, come on!”
She laughs as she continues dodging his attacks, fully enjoying the way his face becomes nearly purple with frustration. Just as he thinks he's about to get a hit in, she stabs her fingers into his side with a little chakra and cackles as he buckles.
But that had apparently been an act, because he immediately rolls forward and grabs her legs, forcing her to go tumbling into another stand, the wood cracking under her body.
He pulls himself up, but she's already up, too, and tackling him back down. She swings her legs over him and focuses chakra in her palm to close a chakra point. She gasps as he grabs her wrist and jerks his knee up, pushing the flat of his foot right into her chest to throw her backward.
“Shit!” she curses, skidding on her heel as he sprang to his feet.
“You’re gonna regret this, Hanabi!” he warns, pulling his hands together to start creating that familiar blue ball of chakra.
“Don’t think so!” she calls back, dipping her stance with her palms out.
“Raseng-“
“Rotat-“
Hanabi gasps as she feels herself yanked by the collar, and in a blur, she's being thrown to the ground in an unfamiliar area. She darts her eyes around, finding Konohamaru in the same position next to her, then—Naruto’s angry face, right in theirs.
“The hell are you two doing?!” Naruto demands, reaching out with both his bandaged hand and human hand to jab their foreheads. They both groan and reach up to cover the hit spot.
“She started it—”
“He was being—”
“I don’t care!” Naruto announces, straightening back out. “Whatever it is you two need to do, get it out of the way—WITHOUT civilians around!” He turns his back to them as he heads back to the little village. “Catch up when you're done, and don’t come back until you can be normal human beings with each other!”
“That’s great—” Konohamaru huffs as he climbs to his feet, “just great, Hanabi! Look what you did! You’re a damn psycho—”
“I’m not done!” Hanabi hops to her feet, stomping up to him. He glares down at her, shaking his head. He watches as white chakra flares around her hands and sighs, grabbing her wrists to pull them apart.
“I am.”
“No!” Her voice turns almost whiny as she tore her hands from his. “Fight me!” She reeled her hand back. “I demand it!”
“I know you’re used to people doing whatever you say,” he says as he blocks a hit, stepping backward, “but I’m not one of your little subjects!” Another hit, and his frustration's about to bubble over. “Hanabi! Knock it off!”
She doesn't respond as her hits came faster and harder and he finally letsout an exhausted groan, grabbing her forearm and twisting it.
“Don’t make me put you down like a damn dog,” he growls, shoving her toward the ground.
She immediately rolls over, propping herself up on her elbows, and winks. “Try it, babe.”
“Babe—?”
That was a mistake. She catches him off guard, and now he's being thrown right into the base of a tree.
Konohamaru is done.
If she wants him to put her in her place, then he had no choice but to oblige.
They went on like that for far too long, probably, but Konohamaru had no time to think about it because Hanabi really was a better fighter now.
She had been good when they battled in the chūnin exams, but she was truly powerful now. That gentle fist was no joke, he was just glad she hadn’t been able to close his primary chakra point. He briefly wondered whether she was intentionally avoiding it, but quickly decided that was certainly impossible. She’d have closed it straight away if she could, so he continued protecting his chest as they gradually became battered and bruised.
Finally, after what felt like hours, he has her pinned on the ground. He uses his shins to keep hers down (so she couldn’t kick) and shoves her wrists into the earth above her head (so she couldn’t punch), leans down to settle his chest on hers (so she couldn’t get leverage) and presses his forehead to her forehead (so she couldn’t headbutt him, because he knows she'd try). It was a hold Ebisu-sensei had taught him, and while it was fairly intimate (and uncomfortable for a grown man on top of a boy to be doing), it was effective.
He feels her chest heaving against his and has to assume she felt his, too. They're both taking haggard breaths as their eye contact remained unbroken.
Then she tilts her head up and her lips were on his.
He freezes—paralyzed, really. He doesn't even realize his grip has loosened on her wrists, and—
“FUCK!” he yells as he rolls off of her, clutching his chest.
Now she's on top of him, grinning that wild grin down at him as she holds his shoulders down. “Want me to close another?”
“Cheater!” he gasps, rubbing his chest, realizing that it wasn't his primary chakra point she’d closed—but damn, it was close. “You’re a damn cheat!”
“Art of seduction,” she damn near purs the words into his ear, leaning in close, until their noses were touching, and his eyes blow wide. “It’s part of the shinobi way, Konohamaru.”
“That was sexual harassment.”
“Oh please!” she laughs, pressing her forehead against his, “don’t tell me you didn’t like it.”
Konohamaru presses his lips in a thin line, glaring up at her.
Truth be told, he's not really sure if he did or not. He has no time to think about it.
Because in just as quick a motion, he grabs the back of her head and forces her to close the little distance that remained between their lips.
“Mmph—” she gasps against him, and he's…surprised that she hadn’t resisted. She hadn’t resisted at all.
And Konohamaru's not really sure what comes over him, because he finds his other arm snaking around her waist and pulling her flush against him. He pulls his knees up between hers, forcing her legs to straddle around his abdomen, and she's pushing down and he realizes—
Konohamaru Sarutobi is locked in a passionate kiss that Hanabi Hyūga is returning. Eagerly.
So he rolls her over and forces his knees between hers, resting his hips against hers as her arms wrap around his neck.
Is this actually happening?
He pulls the arm from around her back to grab her waist, burying his fingers there as her nails dig into his scalp, head tilting and lips parting. His head goes cloudy as he feels her tongue swipe against his lips, forcing them to immediately part for access on instinct. He pushes his tongue against hers, letting her run hers over his top teeth—he's not sure a girl had ever licked his teeth before but finds he doesn't hate it. Then he pushes back, attaching his teeth to her bottom lip and tugging it. When she lets out a breathy moan, he bites down harder.
Once he feels her hips rock up into his is when he knows he's on the edge—of what, he's not sure, but he's going to be shoved off it if he doesn’t stop this, now.
He quickly pulls his arms from her body, hands planted on the ground as he tears himself off of her. He stops to observe her in the seconds he has. Her face is flush, her lips swollen, her eyes closed, and she's leaning up as if to bring him back.
“Hanabi—” he breathes, causing her to pop her eyes open, “—what the hell?”
As if clarity had rushed her senses, her eyes turn fiery. “PERVERT!”

i do have some petty beefs with heta (no history anymore and just economy, which is understandable but i really don't like hima explanations of economics? sdfsdfsd), and the others are personal ("you are forever here": even when my interest decreases nothing catches my attention as much as heta. i'm kinda trapped here with my wips)

Hi bb!!! I hope you're doing great, I was feeling little down today so I thought I'd ask some silly questions on here :)))
1-I actually wanted to ask this a long time ago, but have you ever thought of adding another female other than hima in the group like they'll become 10 then or was your original idea always only hima
2-what are some mimi and matz moments that made atiny melt, they're literally the cutest oml🥹🥹
3-I was wondering if jongho's and mimi's relationship together is like the younger most mature duo yk?
4-does hima let go when with ateez like does she finally feel like she doesn't have to worry about anything and just live the childhood she didn't get to live fully?
5-this might be uncomfortable it's fine if you don't feel comfy replying but I was wondering have any other kpop fans mocked hima for her parents cause I've seen some sick people shame tae and lisa for their family members who have passed away and mock them
6-did hima take these pics
(I'm delulu yes😔😔)
Love you bb take care, stay warm, and enjoy your holidays💓💓
Hi sweet!! I really hope you're feeling better today! 🥰 (I have my last exam later today so I hopefully will be able to put out more sweet content to make you smile)
• Nope my original idea was only Hima and at first she was going to be some kind of filler member - to really push the pirate concept by adding a siren, so she would only sing background vocals or high notes, would go on stage with the members but mainly take part in modeling gigs, not so much public appearances
• When they first made their debut, poor Hima couldn't handle the intense comeback schedules (early morning pre-recordings, fansigns, etc.,) so one of them would always be seen walking out of buildings with their little maknae sound asleep on their backs (they would cover her with their coat most of the time because they didn't want people taking pictures of her so exhausted)
Hongjoong was live (when they all shared a room) and atiny saw her tucking Seonghwa into bed because he'd fallen asleep reading, brushing away strands of hair, making sure he was comfortable and giving him a kiss on the forehead like he always did for her. About half an hour later she fell asleep on the floor while making some Lego that Seonghwa had offered her and it was her turn to be tucked into bed. Hongjoong even brushed her hair, took off the eye makeup she'd forgotten to remove and put her hand in Seonghwa's (her mattress was right next to his bed) in case she had any nightmares
During the stage check for the showcase of her very first EP 'Insomniac', Matz were caught by the main camera tearing up at the very first song (Intro; 00:01) and when the maknae noticed this, she immediately stopped her conversation with T.O.P to run up and hug them. Seonghwa went on live later and said that he didn't want to give spoilers but he nearly walked out during 'AM 4:44' because he couldn't handle hearing her say all of these things. Hongjoong actually did leave during 'Interlude; Tear' but came back near the end of the song
• They're kind of each other's release from the world - with Hima, Jongho isn't seen as a maknae so he can keep his normal level of maturity, taking care of her instead of the members taking care of him. Hima on the other hand feels like she can be quiet around him, like she can present the more mature side of herself because she knows he'll catch her if she falls back in the over-maturity she used to have, she also doesn't have to talk with him, kind of giving some peace when it comes to her hearing. Together they don't have the title of maknaes, they don't have to worry about age (even if they have a 1 year difference), their relationship kind of feels like being overstimulated then locking yourself in your room with all of these familiar comforting items; your bed, your desk, your phone, anything that brings you peace. How they sing together on stage is really reflective of how they feel towards each other; holding hands for support during high notes, standing back to back because they know the other's voice is supporting their own, etc
• At the beginning Hima felt 'safe' enough to let go of the maturity her circumstance had forced onto her, she was away from being alone, from the house where so many traumatic things happened, etc., but eventually when she developed her Depressive Disorder she started shutting down. The members noticed that she was unnaturally mature, less open about her emotions, always drowning in work, she just seemed to have lost that inner child that they all knew still needed to grow up. Eventually though with everyone reaching out to her, trying to hard to help, she began to break out of that shell and now she's basically living a second childhood surrounded by people who constantly hold her hand as it should have been all those years ago. That's why a lot of the times she's described as bright, somewhat innocent, always smiling, because that's how she was as a child and who she still is inside!
• Oh most definitely, I mean what better way to drive the one girl member away from your biases than to make fun of or blame her for the death of her parents, especially because she was 'supposed' to die that night and would have, had Hanzo not saved her. Because of this, she stopped going to their grave on trips to Japan for a while because she was afraid that they would come desecrate it. Pieces of her old survivor's guilt also resurfaced - even though she had to undergo so much work on herself to get over it (she never went to therapy because she would immediately shut down)
• Hehe of course she did! 🤭 The last picture was right before Mingi decided to pick her up by the waist and kiss his precious girlfriend in the middle of the street. The third pic is his new contact photo!
I think we lowkey share a brain though because the second I saw them after my math exam I was like "omg...Hima dropped new bf pictures" 🤧Love you too Mina! Take good care of yourself, of your physical and mental health and hopefully your holidays are peaceful even with all of these exams, Love You!! 😘🩷

The Lie You Fed
Characters: Naruto Uzumaki x Fem! Reader
Super Brief Mentions: Hinata Hyuga, Boruto & Himawari Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha
Warnings: Angst, Implied Cheating, Slight Mention of Sexual Themes
Word Count: 3.1k
Author’s Note: Naruto Uzumaki is a giant fluff-ball and even though he’s perfect in my eyes - real relationships are not always rainbows & sunshine. They’re messy, scary, confusing - sometimes heartbreaking and I wanted to attempt something different to portray that. Enjoy, friends ❤️
Mood 🎧 : All I Ask - Adele
With your signature cup of chamomile tea in hand - you’d been listening to the gentle pitter-patter of raindrops hitting your shared apartment window and successfully solidified the tranquil state you’d been desperately craving since the beginning of your work week. As you sat curled up on your couch - you spent time flipping through “The Knot” magazine, ogling at the breathtaking wedding venues and beautiful engagement rings you’d made sure to point out to your man.
When you weren’t going on romantic dates or having mind-blowing sex with your boyfriend Naruto Uzumaki - you’d recently been spending a good majority of your time fantasizing about being a wife and mother - creating the life you’d always dreamed of with the man you’d always wished for.
With your head in the clouds, you’d failed to hear your boyfriend come through the door.
“Hi love.” Naruto said, casually planting a kiss on your cheek as he placed the plastic takeout bag in his hand on the coffee table in front of you, making himself comfortable on a nearby recliner.
“Hi baby, welcome home!” You smiled wide, placing the wedding magazine next to you on the couch - catching Naruto’s attention.
Naruto peeked over at the pink and white book and chuckled. “Your nose is always buried in these magazines these days!”
“Shush!” You grabbed the book, playfully slapping him on the arm with it evoking a hearty laugh to spill from his lips.
You appreciated the silly, playful nature of your relationship with Naruto. Even now in your adulthood, you both made sure to keep your inner child alive. As Naruto darted out of his chair, you were right on his heels chasing him all over your apartment waving the magazine in his direction until he yelled, ‘Mercy’!
“I just want to be ready as soon as you pop the question!” you said, beaming wide - now getting comfortable on your bed, tossing the magazine to the side.
Naruto, now having stripped down to nothing but his boxers - getting prepared for his evening shower, slid on the bed next to you and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close to his chest.
“I’m just giving you a hard time babe. I can’t wait to make you my wife one day.” Naruto said, pearly whites beaming, stealing another quick kiss.
Naruto had entered the steamy bathroom jumping into the shower, leaving his phone behind on the bed with you when suddenly a text came through from a name you hadn’t seen in a long time.
Hinata Hyuga.
You trusted your man more than anything in the world and knew that a text from his ex-wife most likely had something to do with Naruto’s two kids, Boruto and Himawari.
“Naruto! Hinata texted you!” you shouted from the bedroom.
“One sec!” The blonde’s deep, raspy voice echoed from inside the shower.
10 minutes had passed and Naruto exited the bathroom, white towel hanging deliciously low on his waist - looking completely confused. It was pretty rare that the two exes communicated outside of dropping off and picking up the kids and it was Hinata’s week with Boruto and Hima so he was just as taken aback as you were. Naruto skimmed the text and immediately left the room to call Hinata. Meanwhile, you were holding your breath hoping it was nothing serious involving the kids. Even though you and Naruto weren’t married yet, you loved his children like they were your own.
Moments later, Naruto entered the room once more with a concerned look on his face, scratching his freshly washed blonde hair.
“Hinata said that we need to go to Boruto’s school on Friday. Parent teacher conference.” Naruto casually said, throwing on orange sweatpants and a fresh tee over his head.
“Is everything okay?” you questioned, hoping the situation at Boruto’s school was no big deal.
Naruto joined you on the bed, unusually quiet. When he finally spoke up - there was little to no expression on his face. You could instantly tell something was wrong.
“Apparently, Boruto has been getting into a lot of trouble at school. Acting out. Cracking jokes to make the other kids laugh. Not turning in his work.”
“Wow, I mean - I knew Boruto was a bit of a prankster like you were as a child, but I didn’t realize it was so bad. Do you think it’s because of me…?” You looked off into the distance, holding your breath, awaiting Naruto’s answer.
“That’s silly, Y/N…I’m sure it's because he’s just at that age, ya know?” Naruto replied, now downplaying the situation.
You could see right through him. Naruto was obviously concerned like any father would be but always wanted to appear cool, calm and collected when it came to his kids.
You apprehensively spoke up, being careful to not add fuel to the fire. “Well…ever since the divorce and our relationship becoming as serious as it is…I’m sure it’s been a hard adjustment for him - for any little kid, really.”
Naruto stayed quiet for a moment taking in what you were saying. It was clear that he didn’t want to acknowledge the fact that his failed marriage and new relationship was making such a negative impact on his son. Naruto could handle just about ANYTHING but this parenting thing - even having done it for 12 years - was still not something he had mastered quite yet and in the back of his mind, was worried it was something he’d never get right.
“Being a parent is the hardest thing I've ever done…no amount of Ninja training could top this.” The Uzumaki said, sounding stressed as he rubbed his tired face.
You gently rubbed Naruto’s back, soothing him. You knew he always wanted to do right by his kids and if he ever felt like he was falling short - he took it incredibly hard. Regardless, the rebellious teen years were slowly but surely creeping around the corner and you wanted to make sure he knew that you were there to support him every step of the way.
“Naruto. You are an amazing father and you’re going to handle this with the utmost grace and poise, the way I know you can. Try not to stress it too much, baby.” you said as you leaned your head on Naruto’s shoulder, deeply inhaling, taking in his zesty freshly showered scent.
Naruto’s signature smile had crept its way back to his face as he beamed from ear to ear listening to the way you encouraged him.
“I just hope this parent-teacher conference doesn’t last too long…I have a bunch of all day meetings I have to attend.” The blonde said, groaning as the painful reality of adulthood kept hitting him.
You perked up remembering that Friday was your 3 year anniversary, in hopes that Naruto didn’t forget. He was an amazing man who treated you like an absolute Queen but you weren't so blinded by love that you didn’t realize that Naruto wasn't the most organized person in the world.
“Aaaannnd, you'll be home in time for dinner, yes?” you looked at Naruto, giving him the cutest puppy dog pout you could manage.
Naruto immediately looked flustered as he had indeed forgotten that your 3 year anniversary dinner was set for this Friday but it just so happened to interfere with the parent-teacher conference.
“Y/N…I will do my very BEST to not be late. I have to meet Hinata at the school at 5:30pm for the conference and well...you know how Iruka loves to catch up and talk.” Naruto nervously laughed, hoping you’d be understanding and not hold his lateness against him.
You huffed. “Fine. But i'm making your favorite… and well, just make sure you’re home and ready for dessert.” you stuck your tongue out and crawled on Naruto’s lap, hoping the sexual innuendo didn’t go completely over his head.
Naruto slipped his large hand under your shirt, giving your boob a firm squeeze. “Don’t worry, love. I’m always ready.” The blonde smirked and you could feel Naruto’s hard length flex underneath your ass as you were pressing into his lap in all the best ways.
>>>
The candlelight flickered and the aroma of miso pork filled your nostrils as you sat at the beautifully decorated table you had prepared - awaiting your boyfriend’s arrival. You were filled with both nerves and excitement for the evening as you slipped into your favorite black cocktail dress that accentuates your curves - your bust was practically spilling out of the built-in bra but you didn’t mind as you knew Naruto would go nuts over the view.
7:30pm had rolled around and the knot in your stomach began to tighten. You began to sweat and become anxious as it wasn’t common for Naruto to be extremely late - especially not on such a joyful occasion. Your anxiety brain kicked into overdrive. You began thinking the absolute worst of the worst.
You were certain that the parent-teacher conference had been over for an hour now and Naruto wasn’t answering his phone.
“What if he got hurt on his way home?” you thought.
The intrusive thoughts were starting to consume you as this was totally unlike him. It was your 3-year anniversary and you’d been looking forward to this night for a long time. In fact, you were secretly hoping that a proposal would happen tonight, yet - here you were sitting at the dinner table alone, fighting back tears.
Suddenly, the keys jingling in the front door startled you out of your thoughts. You smoothed your dress and went to meet your boyfriend - stopping him at the front door, arms crossed.
“You’re late.” you said, sounding obviously perturbed.
“I know… I-I’m really sorry.” Naruto replied quietly, as he looked down at his feet.
Immediately, you could sense something wasn't right. This wasn’t the demeanor of the same man you loved and his discomfort was written all over his face. He awkwardly held out a bouquet of pink roses and lilies.
“Happy Anniversary.” Naruto had said just above a whisper.
There was no light in his eyes and no excitement to be found in his voice. Something was wrong. Very wrong.
You snatched the bouquet out of his hands and stepped aside - not saying a single word but letting him inside the apartment. Naruto’s face lit up - showing off his adorable signature cheeky grin at the sight of the carefully prepared dinner table you spent hours working on. However, that grin had quickly left.
You, still not amused, follow behind Naruto. “Where the hell have you been?” you said, arms still crossed.
“Y/N…We need to talk.” The blonde said, fidgeting with his fingers.
Your stomach was doing somersaults as the words rolled off your boyfriend’s lips. That phrase never meant good news. Your hopeful mood towards your anniversary night had quickly turned sour as the irritability on your face became painfully evident.
“Naruto…what’s this about?” You asked, standing frozen trying your best to mentally prepare for whatever bomb your boyfriend was getting ready to drop - your E/C eyes piercing Naruto’s baby blues.
“Something happened after the parent-teacher conference…with Hinata.” Naruto was holding his breath, awaiting your reaction.
You inhaled sharply, bracing yourself for what was to happen next. “Something like what, exactly…?” you said, carefully eyeing the blonde suddenly feeling the urge to throw up.
“We kissed. Well…she kissed me!” Naruto desperately tried to explain his side and get the story right. However, you were already shutting down. You began taking slow steps away from Naruto.
The betrayal. The heartbreak you already felt, bubbling up inside. You felt like you’d just taken the biggest punch to the gut. Your vision temporarily went blurred as the dizziness you felt began to take over. This was not what you expected in a million years. Naruto was your Prince Charming. He was the man you’d spent the last year of your life talking about marriage and having children of your own together with. You couldn't believe what you were hearing and on your anniversary at that.
“How…could you?” you said quietly, still slowly backing away.
Naruto began walking towards you, desperately trying to reach out and pull you close. You threw your hand out in front of you defensively.
“Dont.” A single tear began to run down your cheek. “Don’t touch me.”
“Y/N…I wanted to tell you in person. We just started talking about Boruto and Hima and reminiscing about the days they were born and our past and well…she thinks it’d be best for the kids if we tried working things out. Honestly, it’s left me…confused.” Naruto said quietly, being sure to avoid eye contact with you. He hated seeing you cry and hated even more being the cause of your tears.
Your mouth had dropped in complete disbelief. How could the man who says he’d love you for the rest of your life even consider working things out with the woman he’d divorced only a few years prior?! You thought, Naruto’s words replaying over and over in your head.
“Confused? What are you? 15?! One kiss and now you’re questioning our whole relationship!?” your tone of voice, shaky and beginning to crack as the tears started flowing.
“We’re planning for marriage and a baby of our own and you go and drop this bomb on me!? Does that mean nothing to you?” you asked, voice now barely above a whisper.
Naruto rubbed the back of his blonde locks nervously. “Yes! It means everything. You mean everything to me…I just want to make sure I'm doing what’s best for my kids… especially before trying to bring another one into the world.”
You scoffed, completely taken aback by the excuses he fed you. “Hm. I don't recall you being this cautious about having another baby when you started cumming in me raw for the last 6 months.” you smirked. Hurt and anger laced your tone of voice.
“Look Y/N…Please believe me when I say, I do love you - so much - but I don’t think it’s fair to drag you through this while I sort my feelings out so, I think that taking a few days apart may be best...” Naruto momentarily stayed quiet, allowing you space to process everything before proceeding.
“I- I just had to let you know, face to face - as soon as I could. Otherwise…I’d feel even more guilty.” Naruto tried his hardest to convince you, ignoring your comment altogether.
As Naruto continued on, your heart sank further and further to your ass. The lump in your throat wouldn’t go away. You felt like you were in one horrific nightmare that you couldn't wake up from. Your boyfriend had betrayed you in a way you never thought would be possible and you didn’t know where to go from here. The sadness subsided and was replaced with pure rage as your heart was ripped to a million pieces.
“Save the nice guy act. You aren’t doing me any damn favors. You’re being totally selfish and trying to relieve your glory days. This isn’t about those kids because there’s no reason you can't co parent with Hinata the way you have been for the last 3 years.” Your voice - still shaky from what you were hearing.
“Dammit, Y/N! She was my wife! She was my first love. My first everything…she gave me two beautiful children and I admit… maybe I did get caught up in the moment. Can you blame me?!” Naruto raised his voice, now losing his cool and all sensibilities.
“Fuck you. I hate you.” You spit out those words with the nastiest venom in your tone. You charged towards Naruto pushing firmly on his chest trying to guide him towards your front door. You’d heard enough.
“What about ME?! What about what I want?! You don’t think I want two beautiful children of my own? You’re disgusting, selfish and a LIAR and you need to go, NOW!” you yelled, still pushing at Naruto’s muscular chest in the direction you wanted him to go.
Despite the events of the past few hours, Naruto did have a heart and you filled it so perfectly. However, he felt like he owed it to himself and his children to figure out where to go next. Unfortunately, you were collateral damage in this series of events.
Naruto was incredibly strong and barely budged as you tried pushing him away. He just let you push and push at his chest, taking all your rage and hatred out on him. He instantly regretted what he’d just said to you and by this point, he knew he had hurt you worse than ever before and was okay letting you throw all your anger at him even when your bitter words stung him right back. He didn’t dare make the moment about himself any more than he already had.
“You hate me?...” Y/N, you don’t mean that.” Naruto said looking down at your tear stained face. Tears now forming in his own cerulean orbs. He went to cup your cheek still wanting to soothe the pain he had just caused, however, the touch of his rough hand on your face caused you to flinch. It suddenly felt foreign on your skin.
“Don’t touch me! I deserve someone who is sure about me and only me! Someone who picks me EVERY TIME. Someone who doesn’t feed me a bunch of lies and bullshit - creating false hope in my heart for the future!”
Naruto winced - now fully comprehending the rage and hurt that had bubbled up inside of you, however - you weren’t done. This man hurt you in a way that you could barely comprehend and you needed him to know.
“You walk around with this cheery nice guy act and then you go and pull a stunt like this? You and Hinata are fucking snakes who clearly deserve each other.”
You were fuming at this point and obviously saying things you didn’t mean but your heart was aching and the man who always picked up the pieces - was the one ripping them to shreds.
Stunned. Naruto’s heart sank - immediately knowing that this very well could be the end and that he was no longer welcome as he slowly backed out of the apartment - only to have the door slammed in his face. You were fully aware that he didn't have any clothes or an overnight bag with him but at that moment, you didn’t care. Seeing his face was too much to bear. Knowing that he’d just shared such intimacy with someone other than yourself evoked a heartless response from you.
Your whole body collapsed under you as you slid down against the door frame. All you could do was bury your head in your knees allowing the most guttural cries to leave your throat. You needed to let it all out. You were feeling broken and unsure of what to do next. The man you were certain you’d spend your life with was now questioning everything and you didn’t want to wait around until he figured out what he wanted. That was bullshit. You deserved more. You deserve certainty. Naruto wanted to fuck around with your emotions and you weren’t going to stand for it.
And that is how you ended up on his doorstep.
Contrary to popular belief, Sasuke Uchiha comforted you in ways many others could not.

series m.list | pervious - next
"what time is it again?" y/n asks stretching backwards from their gaming chair. they try and rub the sleep from their eyes, failing but they brush it aside and reach for their energy drink.
their discord pinged and they look over for a split second then returns their attention back to the screen in-front of them.
"who joined?" they ask, crouching three times when callahan runs up to them and drops some quartz. they smile at their screen.
"um, it was quackity I think," dream answers running around breaking blocks. "and it's 3 a.m, for me at least." he mumbles the last part.
"hi quackity," they giggle, hitting callahan once and running away. he follows them close behind, trying to land a couple punches before missing and falling into the lake under the community house. "oh shit he's muted."
a ding soon follows after and quackity unmutes his mic. the sound of his voice is echoed and blotchy yet easy to make out. "hello~" he sings with a cackle, he joins dreams stream.
"hello~," y/n sings back huffing, they let go of their keyboard and try to rub their eyes again. "dream bro, go to sleep. end stream- like right now."
"what?" the tone of his voice is high pitched and drawn out, "suve i-i'm not just going to end stream now, I can't."
"well why not? just do it, don't be a puss bro." they tease, using their phone to open up his stream. 250,000 people had nothing better to do with their lives, and honestly who would blame them. The chat went by quick, only catching a few but they caught a couple of things.
@Demonslayerrfan20: yeah dream do it LOL
@toeclippers: DO IT PUSS, NO MORE MONEY
@arianannotfound: SDFHISUDFOSD SUV3 IS SO FUNNY-
"see your chat seems to agree, just stop, like just quit dude- callahan are you done?" callahan resurfaces from the water after killing himself 5 times. he grabbed a stick and started beating suve repeatedly .
"suve stop being a instigator!"
y/n- who was mesmerized by the speed of the chat, didn't notice that he got their health low. by the time they realized they were at half a heart, they gasp and quickly take ahold of their keyboard. "HALF A HEART-HALF A HEART. CALLAHAN STOP!"
with another click of the mouse the title screen 'You Died!' comes up and y/n slams their fist on their desk and screams.
everyone in the vc laughs and dream wheezes out a, "you sound like george!"
<georgenotfound has joined the game>
quackity unmutes and giggles to himself, "speak of the devil,"

"why would you invite him to the vc he's so stinky." karl grumbles, the sound of his voice is muffled out by the sleeve of his sweater.
"because suve has a little crush on him," quackity replies.
"i do not!" they agrue.
"do too!"
"do not!"
"do too-!" before he could finish his sentence the discord notification goes off again, signaling that someone had joined vc.
y/n grins and claps their hands "GEORGEE! THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE, MY SWEET SUGAR PIE YUMMY YUM."
there's silence from george's end, and then a soft "ew."
quackitys icon lights up green as he screams in laughter, karl and dream chortle.
"shut up this is not funny." they groan and crumple up the monster they were drinking and throw it into the bin across the room.
"I could recognize that sound anywhere, was that a...a monster can?!" karl screeches jumping up and down on his chair. he turned his camera on and in the back were multiple boxes and monster cans everywhere.
"oh my god, karl you freak, how did you know." giggling, they open the small refrigerator by their desk to pull out another.
"hey, when you drink alot of them, you tend to get used to the sound."
"no," dream interjects logging onto hypixel, "I think you just have a addiction."
"hey hey HEY, I don't get addicted, it's merely a...liking."
"'liking' my ass," george comments joining dream. "says the one with a monster can la la land in the back. drink some water."
karl scoffs and goes to pick up the cans but stops when y/n speaks up, "speaking of which, karl I need some more, you think you could hit a girl up?"
in a husky voice, karl gets close to the camera, rubbing his hands together, "yeah, yeah, of course. I got you, what do you want? I got it allll."
y/n copies karls stance but instead of getting close to the camera they get close to the mic. "anything, I just need that good good youknowhatimsayin'?"
he sits back and laughs "dude you're so stupid oh my god."
"they're doing a drug deal! TOS TOS!" quackity taunts.
"what? karl, suve NO!"
