sarah has posted a new video.

in the description, it states that it has realized that it is indeed not a pedophile/MAP, and simply struggled with POCD and psychosis.

i believe it is being sincere when it says that it’s seeking recovery. it can’t fix its actions with a simply apology, and it knows this. and i don’t know if i can fully forgive sarah. i don’t even know if i should leave this account up.

i’m just conflicted.

Update on the Sarah Truly (Hilariously Scary) Situation

Before we begin, I want to say: I DO NOT CONDONE ANY OF IT'S ACTIONS FROM THE LAST FEW MONTHS.

Now that's done with, two weeks ago (yes I know. late to the party,)Sarah posted her song 'To Build A Fire.' She had already posted the song a few times in the past, but she posted it once more as it is it's favorite song it has ever written. It wanted to give an explanation and apology about what happened a few months back.

It explained that it is not a MAP and that they were just struggling with a disorder which it had not come to terms with yet (I will not be naming the disorder in case it is not comfortable with me doing so.) It took down the explanation from it's website and all their posts on the matter. It turned off the comments on their song 'Werewolf' stating that it was not good for it's mental health and it will no longer be posting videos, so this will be the last time we it on the platform.

Now, whether or not you forgive it or not is completely up to you and how you feel and remember no one is to say how you feel on this.

I know since this is meant to be just a quick update I should not be sharing my thoughts, but I think it's good to talk about it, so feel free to repost with your own thoughts or if I accidentley got something wrong in this post.

Personally, I do forgive them. I understand from experience that mental health problems can cause you to act in irrational ways and do things you may end up regretting. I also apologize in case it has saw any of my past posts and been harmed in any way as I did pioneer the Hilariously Scary Situation and Sarah Truly Situation tags on here. I did act quite harshly in those post, and though I apologize I do not feel remorse for it. I would do it again if it meant knocking some sense into someone head, but again, I am sorry if it affected it in any negative ways.

still thinking about what happened with Sarah Truly / Hilariously Scary & that Sarah said it wanted to have a normal/regular job after all this. as if background checks don't exist?? the HS channel had 35k+ subscribers before this whole shitshow. that's a pretty decent following. majority of its (former) fans are pissed/upset/hurt. even if Sarah takes down the post from its website (or even its website all together), people are still talking about it! there are screenshots of the post on the Overseers Amino!! its shown its face on the channel AND (correct me if im wrong) used its legal name as well. no matter how much Sarah tries, this is going to STAY with it for the rest of its life. i can't imagine that many places willing to hire a self-admitted p3do, especially one that (the more i look at the situation), doesn't seem to want to get better or seek help. sarah not only tanked its public platform/social media presence but potentially ruined its actual life as well with this shit.

I am so disgusted with this whole Sarah-truly situation. Being a map is not the same as being part of lgbtq+ we fought to get a place in this world. And there are still places where it is illegal to love the person you love. It's so fucking disgusting that it even claims that being a MAP is the same things as to be lbgtq+ the same thing, like... No it's fucking not!!! ... All I can say is, fucking yikes!

Sorry to be so bitter but I really did enjoy it's art, but I'm tired of hearing that people I look up to are so Disgusting!!!

But I can genuinely hope that it seeks help, but I don't ever want to see it on the internet ever again... :/

Thought I’d redraw my fan oc from the Overseer universe a la @sarah-truly

I don’t quite have a name for him, but I coined him as the “Overseer of Weakness” a while ago. He has the power to trade strengths with someone else, so in order to be more powerful, he has to be weaker.(it’s weird, I know, but the more you think about it the more it makes sense) I like to imagine that he was named the overseer of strength, but after his tragic backstory™️ he decided to go by weakness instead.

I'm sorry if you've been avoiding this topic and you don't have to answer but do you have any idea what happened to take-down-sarah-truly/take-down-hilariously-scary? The other day their url changed and now the blog url goes to a 404 -🌹

I was wondering that too, I'm afraid I don't have a clue. They may have taken down the account after Sarah posted its last video, either that or it may have gotten reported by those who were on Sarahs side before it cleared things up.

Sarah has posted this on its IG story. Odd that it hasn't said anything about this on IG or Tiktok, isn't it? I know that Sarah's primary platforms were its tumblr and YT channel, however it does feel a little weird that those are the only 2 platforms they came out as a p3do on.

(Also I thought they were completely cutting itself off of social media, why tf is it posting on IG Stories??)
