nothing has made me more annoyed with people who drive high than getting high myself. yes, even just a little bit. "it doesn't affect me" Jessica, now I KNOW you're lying. or at the very least incredibly stupid and incapable of assessing your faculties objectively.

#this is the only post of mine that I feel like has been deeply and truly controversial. but #sorry for being a narc. I AM right though #and the people I know who drive while high are so hilarious to me because they will finish telling me a story about how they had to pull #over and 'wait it out' or something else quirky and funny that they did while driving high and then in the next breath go 'but it makes me #drive better hahaha' and I just have to sit there and stare at them cus I cant say shit. ✋ its not the greatest of evils sure. but its dumb.

#this post is dumb but i enjoy polls on here lol #a teeny tiny look into why I'm Like This #my favorite potion was “raven's blood” which was just a shit ton of koolaid mix in a tiny bottle that solidified. we kept it for 7 years #the lost in the woods story is also hilarious bc we were lost for like 4 hours & her family was worried but mine was like nah. ur grounded #and the ice skating one omfg the pond was literally cracking when we were in the middle of it #i was spoiled hanging out at her house bc they lived on a small horse farm so we had so many great outdoor adventures #and movie nights were soooo much fun bc her dad would pirate us literally any movie we asked for #okay I'm done rambling i just miss her n it was fun remembering things we did together hahah #angel rambles #angel asks

Also alsoooo, had some quick thoughts about a post I saw on another site with people complaining about “awkward” romances and how they’re “annoying/immature/childish” blah blah blah

As someone on the ace spectrum, silly awkward romance stories actually resonate waaaayyy more with me than the over-serious flowery intense romances that allo people usually write about.

And especially since my writing niche is innocent love, if you don’t wanna read about young adults and kids being KIDS and having awkward crushes and silly cheesy relationships (because I’m sorry but that’s just what realistically happens when you’re young??), platonic or otherwise then writers like me just aren’t for you.

Nothing wrong with that, everyone has preferences, but just because it’s not your thing doesn’t automatically make it trash or w/e

Let people enjoy things, basically 🤷‍♀️

i’m sorry did they actually just say “lmao ash can’t possibly be wanting to actually use oshawott in this league battle, i bet it’s his throwaway for this round” as a quick gag. damn the anime really did shit all over team oshawott while it was airing

#snivy: got a really good personality and is consistently shown to be one of the better battlers while also being a good character #and its evolutions are also shown to be extremely competent and terrifying in the anime #tepig: got a really good abandonment trauma story (if rehashed) that was consistently handled well and is considered to be #one of ash's best pokemon in this gen #oshawott: lmao this thing fucking sucks. imagine ash actually using it and it being good. cringe.#isnt it also hilarious when we show it being beat up all the time. isnt it funny that its like a romancer and it starts all the conflicts #and the pokemon consistently agree its the most annoying and worst team member and make it the butt of every joke #even when we set it up to have some sort of good payoff we rarely actually do that bc we gotta keep the Funny (not funny)#also we're gonna debut samurott late in the anime and it's going to one of the worst recieved characters #im a little annoyed can you tell.#also im just realizing that they maybe added palpitoad so ash would have a ''legitimate'' water type to use this gen #i dont exactly have proof for that but suddenly im getting that vibe. suddenly i like that palpitad even less #echoed voice #pokeani lb #even as a kid i remember the way they treated oshawott upsetting me. especially in decolore they basically just make it piplup 2.0 #where the joke is ''ha ha we beat up the small blue thing all the time and its funny bc its small and cute and its edgy to do that''#au where oshawott like. actually had that arc in operation tempest that i mentioned earlier #i like all thte unova starters im glad the other two at least got decent rep in the anime but the way they treated oshawott #literally like inspired ppl to say i was stupid for picking oshawott bc ''its weak and dumb in the anime''#like. man justice for oshawott

they visited australia to pay nate a visit for his birthday :)

nate, kess, and benjie have been good buddies since they were kids! nate had to move back to the ol' aussieland pretty early in their lives. they still usually kept in touch online, though!

apparently, nate and benjie had a bit of a falling out that kess was unaware of, and they hadn't spoken in quite some time. they seem to have reconciled, though...

they decided they'd all pitch in to pay for some tickets, and kick him out of his house for a few hours to prepare a super surprise party for his birthday!! :)

they had a lot of fun. he told them all about his wonderful [sic] adventures during his time in the outback. avery had no clue what he was saying half the time as she'd never once in her life encountered a man who could speak "english" without speaking english at all the whole time. she was awestruck. it was mesmerizing. devon didn't care because the girls were paying more attention to nate than himself. but he tried to be polite the whole time.

benjie and nate seem to be at least on good terms again. they had fun. avery had never seen so many different techniques for spider-killing and marsupial-clobbering. she vowed that the only time she would ever return to this country would be to study under his wing and/or marry him.

benjie and devon were sent to go get the tickets for the ride home while the girls stayed back and chilled with nate for a bit. it had only then dawned upon them that, caught up in their excitement of the idea of visiting a foreign land, they had completely forgotten that they had to pay for tickets to their destination AND the ride back. not only that, they had no local currency with them and no idea how to access their bank accounts without their cards. avery also probably forgot her passport somewhere in the bush. whoops! go figure!! haha!!! what will these crazy critters do to get themselves out of THIS sticky wicket??!!
