I joined the hikago fandom only recently so I didn't understand the jokes towards Akira's clothing choices but now I want to blame this on the anime because they made my son dirty.

They made him look like someone who dresses like he's 60 when actually in the manga he dresses like he's 40!!!

For May this year I did a Hikaru no Go themed ita bag insert! All the buttons were made using my button maker, and the backing is Sai’s second match against Touya Meijin (in reality, Rin Kaiho vs. Yoda Norimoto in May 1997). I appliquéd it move by move using sequins on felt 👍

hikaru no go (/qi hun) doodle dump! this is all pretty experimental but i'm still figuring out how i want to draw them lol. i don't draw from live action shows very often, so i had to do a LOT of reference tracing from screencaps before i got a handle on their features....

i fell victim to my own hubris by not using any references for the two manga-based drawings though skfjskjffj. this is the first time fucking around on one layer has given me smth that actually kinda looks recognizable, at least
