My miku cosplay for today's miku expo in Sydney theatre

I went as indo miku 🇮🇩 I went with my friend and we didn't get a chance to buy the lightsticks so I stitched together a negi the night before, and thats what i used to wave around during the concert lmao. I followed Aisyen on YouTube for the hijab hair, and my best friend did it for me. She had to practise the day before as well, just to see if she can even do it, but the tutorial was very easy to follow (link: https://youtu.be/IDFFazPuMfI?si=R5oI82w2MK1xh2WU )

My henna was half done by my sister and it turned out a bit clumsy because the pipe she was using was low quality, and I added to it just as clumsily. On the tip of my finger I wrote miku's japanese name and on the side I wrote 39☆.

It was a great experience for my first cosplay and my first concert, too. I nearly cried at some point, and the miku cosplayer who asked for my picture litrally 5 seconds after I left the car blew away most of all my social anxiety, cuz i think thats when i realized that i wasn't the odd one out anymore. so thank you, random fellow miku enjoyer. I wished I had more time to talk to other cosplayers but my friend was tired so we went home early ;;

My friend said that I could have bought an indomie packet instead of negi so I could introduce myself as "indomie-ku".... AFTER we had already arrived at the concert. I'm so fucking livid he didn't tell me this earlier. It still makes me irrationally upset. Next time I'll definitely...! ۹(๑`^´๑)۶

Hijabi girls do it with the scarves. Black girls add ribbons for color, maybe do it up in puffs like buns or add box braid extensions. Blonde girls dye it. Anyone can wear a wig.*

It's gotta be blue, and it's gotta be pigtails. You can't just do black hair in pigtails or blue hair in a short afro. You gotta do blue. You gotta do tails. They can be puffs or braids or scarves, they can be blue or teal or even green!

But they gotta follow the Miku Model.
