I know it’s been a while but to be honest, I needed time to process everything. I have the tendency to keep all my feelings inside and one day... boom! They all come out like a hurricane and then I’m struggling. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one with this problem. So yeah... I’m getting back on track slowly, trying to write again and posting. Thank you for your patience and love you guys! Shadowhunters will forever live and it’s not the end yet!

Checklist

Magnus really has lost everything. His job, his powers, his house. 

Asmodeus sees this. He fucking knows. So what does he try and do? Why, like any good man, he makes a checklist.

“What else can I do to take your mind off this awful heartache of yours?” Nah, Asmodeus already knows what he’s going to do. 

Magnus lost his job and his house? No problem! I’m a King of Hell! What’s his pedigree? bitch hit’s me.

Magnus lost his powers? He gives them back... no questions asked!

But Asmodeus is so busy trying to give Magnus back what he lost that he completely neglects who he lost. Because all of these things are great, but Magnus is still missing someone.

Alec.

Asmodeus acknowledges Magnus’ heartache over Alec, but instead of trying to fix the actual problem, he fixes everything around it, hoping that it will be enough. 

But it’s not. And this is why I have faith in Magnus. Because it is only when Alec breaks up with Magnus that he feels that he has truly “lost everything.”
