We took the Highline Trail for a fun Jeep drive to The Bunker Bar. It's another fun bar out in the desert 10 or so miles north of Lake Havasu City. The parking lot was packed with OHVs but there is an alternate route suitable for most vehicles. They have food, drinks, live music, dancing and outdoor games. Nothing like getting outbound with the boys... . . We pushed ourselves to cover ~50 miles of trail to see what @glaciernps had to offer. Days started early and light almost outlasted our ability to stay awake to see the stars. Glacial lakes revitalized. Epic views and magnificent grandeur were impossible to fully capture, but I was armed with the best combo, a @sonyalpha #A7RIII and the 12-24 G lens. 09/02/17 - Glacier National Park, Montana - HIGHLINE TRAIL - Canada was awesome but I gotta tell you, it’s always a great feeling to come back to the good old USA . Today, we decided the best way to get a feel for Glacier National Park would be to do the famous 52-mile drive from one end of the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road to the other and then back again. We did this drive with mixed emotions - in awe from the breath taking scenery for sure but also saddened by the rapidly disappearing glaciers and the destruction resulting from the forest fires in the area. We crossed the Continental Divide at Logan Pass where we stopped to spend a couple of hours hiking the popular Highline Trail. We actually got in some awesome views of the mountains closest to us despite all the smoke. That was an unexpected surprise. Life is good.

We were lucky enough to see the Bear Grass Blooming on The Highline Trail in Glacier National Park. This is an extremely popular hike; and for good reason. At every step, and every turn, hikers will have absolutely spectacular scenery as the Highline follows along the Continental Divide, also known as the Garden Wall in this area.
