I’m gonna be completely honest: I don’t know shit about hockey so apologizes in advance

Mark is a left-winger for the team

he plays for his university’s team and they’re actually pretty good

within the three-ish years that he’s been on the team, they’ve won a couple of championships

it’s not really hard considering that Mark takes everything too seriously

(at least that’s what Donghyuk says during practice all the time)

Johnny somewhere: “okay Mark”

Yuta: “let’s not overreact Mark”

Taeyong: “leave my son alone”

Mark: “I’m a grown adult…”

Taeyong: “shhh”

since he used to play for his team back in hometown, he naturally joined the university’s team

he was a natural and everyone easily took a liking to him

especially since now they have someone to make fun of constantly

by they, I literally mean just Donghyuk

I’m just kidding—it’s all in good fun because it just shows how close they are

Mark is just that one college kid that’s still cute even when he’s not a freshman anymore

the other team members still treat him like the youngest even though YangYang and Sungchan are like

speaking of which, their teamwork is incredible and it shows through their games

and, on the rare occasions that they don’t win, they still have dinner together afterwards

well, it’s less of dinner and more of drinks and strategizing what went wrong—which are kind of depressing but it’s fine

at least that’s what Sicheng says as captain, but it sounds like denial

anyways, even though Ten is the co-captain, they all work to make their play plan together

they all contribute ideas, especially since they’ve been in the positions they’ve been in for, like, ever

again, Mark is like really good

so you know he got that bombass scholarship

and that’s what really pushes him to do well bc let’s be real, college is e x p e n s i v e

he also likes ice skating in general because the cold reminds him of home

so he’s one of those hockey players that also likes figures skaters and it’s funny because he gets so many weird looks from the others

(altho, Jeno goes with him sometimes bc he’s nice)

back to what I was saying tho: Mark is really good

despite his personality, he’s a bit more aggressive on the ice—considering he’s a forward

Donghyuk, the right-winger: he makes sense

jkjk , they all kind of know you, considering you’re one of the more consistent faces since they’ve been playing in these games (primarily the home ones bc free tickets for students but still)

you also don’t paint your face or anything—you just show up in your university sweatshirt with a couple of those foam light up sticks or something

again, not that wild like signs with his face or anything

but yeah, Mark knows of you as a loyal fan ?

I want to emphasize that you have gone to, like, nearly every game, but the main ones you’ve *always* have gone to are the home games bc they’re more convenient

I emphasize this because, when you’ve suddenly gone down with the flu, you literally cannot make it to the finals championship game

(you were dying bc of your clogged nostrils, but otherwise, no)

they somehow managed to win by a couple of points so it was kind of fine

but the teasing was increased by all of Mark’s friends

i.e. Johnny, Donghyuk, Jaehyun, and everyone else

come on, it’s so easy to make fun of him

but like he doesn’t care about any of it bc he was worried about you

which got him thinking

why is he worried about someone whose name he doesn’t even know? is there something more? why is there something more? he literally doesn’t know you? except that you come to the games and you’re really cute cheering him on? what is this?

this bothered him for quite a bit more than he liked to admit

and it’s about a couple of days later

things are normal and you don’t feel like everything is dripping out of your nose

until you’re walking through campus from your class

and there’s some footsteps running from behind you that makes you coil up into a semi-standing ball bc you thought a bunch of frat boys were just excited or some shit

but then the footsteps stop at you and you’re standing there, wide-eyed

in front of an out of breath Mark

he was walking out of his class with Jaemin and he spotted you from across the quad

and immediately ran to you

Jaemin: I was talking but okay

this isn’t about you Jaemin

Mark is in front of you, panting and you’re just like sir?

You: “how are you out of breath? aren’t you an athlete?”

Mark: “oh my God, you’re just like Donghyuk”

you give him a bit of time (and some water bc he seemed like he needed it)

and once he’s caught his breath, he stands up and blurts it out

Mark: “what happened to you during the championship?”

You: “....................... what?”

seeing you blink at him confused, he can feel his ears reddening when he’s realized the situation he’s put himself into

Mark: “um, I just”

Mark: “I noticed that you weren’t at the game”

You: still confused bc how does he know about you

You: “huh?”

Mark: oh my God this is the wrong person, want to die

Mark: “you know what, I have the wrong person, I’m just gonna bounce I am so sorry—”

he starts backing up, but you aren’t letting him escape

You: “whoawhoawhoawhoawhoa, hold up hold up”

You: “I didn’t even know that you knew that I knew you”

You: “wait, did you run here just to ask me that?”

Mark is full on flushed at this point bc of all the questions and realizations and it’s all crashing down on him all too soon

and now you have this mischievous look in your eyes that remind him of Ten when he’s clowning Doyoung and he feels like he’s made a mistake

a good mistake but still a mistake

You: “is it?”

Mark: “well, you like, show up to all of our games and you didn’t go to the finals so I didn’t know if anything happened”

You: “oh, I got sick and I figured I shouldn’t be going into giant crowds while having my insides die internally”

You: “but, I did hear from my friends, congrats btw”

Mark: “thanks”

Mark: “are you feeling better tho?”

You: “yeah, but like, my throat is still kind of shitty”

Mark: “oh, if you want, I have a couple of friends who might be able to cook something up for your throat”

Mark: “I’d offer to make something, but Kun doesn’t let me in the kitchen anymore after finding out about the egg incident”

You: “the egg incident?”

Mark: “I can’t cook, like. at all.”

You: “I think I’m good, I was just gonna go get some tea to make it less scratchy or something”

Mark: “I can walk you?”

You: “sure”

so you two go to a cafe or something for you to get some warm tea and you two end up talking and you get to know each other a bit

and then you end up trading numbers and you make some time together

since Mark doesn’t have to go to practice until the next season, his time has opened up considerably

sometimes you study together

other times, you go check out some other places nearby campus

(eventually, you did get to try Taeyong, Jaehyun, and Kun’s food, to which there was no turning back at that point bc they make the best kind of food—free)

you’re basically dating at this point and his friends know you as his significant other so

Chenle: “is (Y/N) gonna be here?”

Mark: “no? it’s our movie night”

Donghyuk: “aren’t you dating tho?”

Mark: “what”

he told you he took it casually and cool, but considering how red his ears were getting when he told you………………. cute

you both established your relationship after that and Mark got a lot more shy and it’s super adorable bc it makes you wanna take care of him and ugh

you two watch the Olympics for that and it’s like tradition now for you two to settle in front of the tv with snacks and watch them skate

like he’ll go mini-golfing with you, but he can’t go to like self-defense classes with you

so,,, things had been kinda rough for kun :( like he was practising 24/7 and he was also on a pretty strict diet so he was just physically and mentally EXHAUSTED and like there’d just been a really tiring day at practise and all the boys started to go home, but kun was like ‘nah i’m gonna stay’

ANd tHen after like 4 hours (it was late at this point,, like almost midnight??) and he came home and there was just an overwhelming smell of delicious food and he could hear the boys laughing and talking lovingly and when he walked in he saw that you had made dinner for the members and now were talking about their day while you stroked xiaojun’s hair to help him sleep and kun almost started crying

so NeWay, yeah you had to do that. and lucas was pretty nervous because he will just never get over the shock of being invited to something big like this, but this time he was just slightly less nervous because ur by his side🥺

and lucas is shocked but as the two of you start giggling literally everyone else in the room disappears and he just thinks ‘i can’t wait to marry her’🥺

sO,, you and dejun had been together for a WHILE, like i mean a full hot minute,, but he’d always been kinda secretive about his family?? like you’d met them several times but both they and dejun never told you anything much about them??? and you just kinda let it slide cause there was obviously smth that he didnt want you knowing and you werent about to poke

and THEN,, one day,, you’re in dejun’s hometown and he’s like ‘get dressed nice and pretty! going to a concert’ and you’re like ‘WOOO!! LETS GO’ and you get dressed up and you and xiaojun walk to this kinda small venue and get drinks and shit and xiaojun’s looking kinda nervous?? so ur like ‘babe its okay,, i’m sure i’ll enjoy it’

and then!! the person comes on stage and you realise it’s a drag act,, very entertaining!! and then, after looking closer,, you realised it was dejun’s dad, as in,, the one you’ve had dinner with MULTIPLE TIMES and you just turned to ur boyfriend and were like ‘your dad!!!!!!’ and he smiled because you looked so excited!!!!

and dejun almost cried because you were so supportive and that was the one thing for him bc if you didnt support his dad’s career than this would not have worked and for him this was like something in his heart just going ‘she’s the one!!’

so similar to xiaojun,, for hendery family was really important!! not that he was hiding anything about them? but you’d only met his family a couple of times and never all together, so when kunhang invited you to come to his mum’s birthday where EVERYONE was gonna be there,,, you were highkey nervous

but so was he lmao he aint gonna lie.. so!! you two flew out to macau a couple days before her birthday so you could settled and the first thing that happened was his sisters wanted to take you guys out for dinner!!! and you went to quite a posh restaurant,, cause that’s the kinda family they are😎 so you were kinda bricking it,, but at the same time the food was GOOD and kunhang’s hand stayed on your knee the WHOLE time

not that he needed that though because his sisters LOVED YOU like he literally got pushed to hang out with his sisters’ boyfriends bc you and his sisters were all gossiping so much and then when you finished your meal you went and had a little photoshoot under the moon and the pretty city lights and later that night as you were asleep next to him,, kunhang looked back over the photos and was just like “wow. my love”

and that was IT he decided RIGHT THERE to marry you.

so you and yangyang had recently moved in with each other,, him finally being the last one to move out the shitty dorm,, and so this was only around the 2nd week that he was coming home from practise to you and your dog and your two cats!!!

when he walked through the door, your dog, finneas, ran up to yangyang and was all happy like dogs are and yangyang was happy too!! and he could smell the dinner that was ready but you weren’t in the living room like you normally were and instead,, yangyang heard your proper, real, ugly laugh coming from the bedroom and he ran over and was like ‘i am home!!!’

and you were laying on the bed, practically in tears and he was like ‘what’s so funny😂😂’ cause he’s like that. and you were like ROLLING AROUND but when yangyang got over to you,, it was a tiktok of someone reacting to a comment that said ‘hi peepeehead’ but you know? he had to laugh because that shit was making you SCREAM and that alone was funny to him

and he just couldnt help but wonder how much more joy you’d bring him,, and he was not about to be left with any regrets😤,, took his boys and bought himself a ring the next week

Literally good at any sport he does.

Has lots of muscles (which is mainly the reason why a lot of these girls finds him attractive).

Also very handsome. :(

Highkey knows all these girls have a crush on him and lowkey flirts with them whenever they talk to him. 

Very kind-hearted though.

He knows his limits. If he feels a girl is taking his flirting a little too seriously or a girl actually confesses to him, he’d know that’s when he needs to stop.

He’d always reject them on the spot if that ever happened. 

He wouldn’t be too harsh though. 

Doesn’t have a lot of friends because of him being athletic and popular but because of his great personality.

The first time the two of you ever actually got a good look at each other and the first time you actually started to have a crush on him was when your brother (also Lucas’s teammate and best friend) had invited you to play a few games of LoL (League of Legends) with them at the computer cafe. 

Although you didn’t want to at first, you knew that there wasn’t anything better you could do since most of your friends that you usually played with were all away on trips with their families for spring break.

“Oh, you made it!” your brother said as he pulled out the chair next to him that just so happened to also be next to Lucas’s seat. 

“Yeah,” you said as you sat down and looked towards Lucas’s seat to see he was too focused on the food he was eating. 

“Hey, this is my sister-” your brother started before Lucas interrupted.

“Y/N,” he said as he took the last bite of his pizza before turning to look at you, “I know. I’ve seen her around campus already. Why is she always so grumpy?”

Both him and your brother laughed as you almost punched Lucas’s arm but didn’t because you didn’t want to be too mean. also lucas was a lot cuter close up so you were kinda nervous 

“Don’t worry, she’s always like that but she’s also an actual softie,” your brother teased as your face turned red and you actually punched your brother’s arm. 

“I think she’s pretty cute when she’s grumpy,” Lucas muttered low enough that you could hear what he said but your brother couldn’t hear.

That’s when you actually felt it. Your heart wanting to jump right out of your chest. 

The two of you didn’t really talk much after that, you just exchanged a few words whenever one needed help in the game. 

However, the next week when you were all back at school, he started talking to you a lot more. 

Although you didn’t really see it at first, everyone else saw it.

He wouldn’t even look at or speak to any of the girls crowding around him. As soon as he saw you, he picked up his long legs and headed straight past the crowd of girls and to you. 

It was like he knew when and where you’d be almost every time. Which you didn’t entirely hate but you lowkey hated because the more he talked to you, the more you started to like him. 

Most of the things he would say was him teasing you but that was just because despite lowkey flirting with other girls before he didn’t really know how to express his feelings about you properly.

Eventually he had asked you out and that was also when you were sure that you had a big crush on him.

The two of you are still together until this day.

He was always there for you when you needed him.

Not gonna lie, he lowkey had some trouble standing up because he didn’t know that his small body could only carry so much weight on his back but he gave it his all and carried you back inside.

Once he had you sat down on one of the dinning table chairs, he ran to your bathroom on that level to grab your first aid kit.

Your mom tried to tell him that she could handle it, but he made it clear to her that he was confident that he got the situation under control.

After that, your mom just let him be while secretly taking a video to keep for memories and also to show to his mom because she thought he was such a little gentleman.

And he was. Actually, he still is a real gentleman. 

Except, he wasn’t your gentleman anymore. 

It wasn’t until he started dating your cousin once you guys started your second year of high school that you realized just how much he really meant to you. 

He would still talk to you, which you liked because you didn’t want to lose him completely.

However, you didn’t get to see him as much since he was always with your cousin.

I mean, you were always free to hang out with them but once you had realized your true feelings for him it was just too difficult for you to put on a brave face in front of them. 

I guess the more distant you two ended up becoming, the more not only you started to realize but also he started to realize that you both mean a lot more to each other than you had thought. 

During your senior year, Xiaojun and your cousin broke up.

Although they didn’t say it was your fault, you still couldn’t help but feel guilty; especially with how your cousin started acting towards you after the breakup.

A few weeks later, Xiaojun had asked you to meet him at the soccer field after school.

He told you that he liked you, more than a friend, and you just told him you two should take things slow especially since you know that your cousin was still affected by it and although the two of you weren’t on good terms at that moment she was still family so. 

After a while, you and Xiaojun actually started dating.

It was no secret that Hendery was the most outgoing, obnoxious, exaggerated, loud, etc. boy in your class. 

Lowkey didn’t know how you started to have a crush on him.

You two were the complete opposites. Literally.

You were mostly humble and quiet with your occasional semi-loud moments whenever you and your friends would hang out after school or during lunch.

I guess the whole “opposites attract” thing was the case for you and Hendery. 

At first of course you did not like him at all.

He made being the class president even harder for you.

Your POV

Calum and I have been dating for almost a year, and everything has been perfect. I've always been friends with the guys since they originally came to LA, but until a barbecue at Mike and Crystal's about a year ago, Calum and I had been nothing more than friends. The boys and the girls had a little bet going and much to everyones' dismay, Luke took home way too much cash.  A little excessive, but they had been pooling it for months.

We've had our issues, as any relationship does, but it has been nice having them here, in LA, together before tour starts. We officially moved into our house three months ago, and it's been a dream living with Calum. Every morning we have our routine, one of us lets Duke out in our backyard and the other starts the coffee and gets to decide breakfast. We don't live too far from everyone else and the city, but far enough that we aren't in the middle of it all, all the time. Sometimes little fights start when someone forgets to turn off the light in the hall, or the studio door isn't closed, the AC is left too high, no more coffee is left in the pantry, but other than that, we pride ourselves in our open communication and our happy relationship.

That is except for one thing. I know for sure that I love Calum, and that there is no one else for me, and I know he feels the same, it's just that those three words hang over our home like a dark cloud. Every morning I wake up and I feel grateful, and I would love to just profess my love to him, but of course I know how that word makes him feel. As their tour dates start to get closer, the more ready I feel to say it, almost to have that assurance while he's away.

As I had lunch with the girls, I had to bring it up.

We were at a small cafe somewhere on Abbot Kinney, just the four of us (myself, Kay Kay, Sierra, and Crystal). We had all ordered and were making small talk when Crystal said, "Y/N, you feeling alright honey? Do you need some water?" I was consumed in my thoughts, only half listening when I just blurted out, 

"Were any of the boys weird about saying 'I love you?'" As soon as I said it, I looked down. "I know it's weird, but I just can't help thinking that something is wrong." I was about to say something to cover it up but Sierra spoke up.

"I know that right now it seems that Cal might not, but he loves you ok? Everyone can tell, and I know what you're talking about, the same kind of thing happened with Luke, but he came around, didn't he? It’s just the words that are missing right now."

 I knew that Sierra was right, but some part of me just kept on doubting.

"I know Lu took a while, but some times when I say the word 'love,' if it's about Duke, or a movie, or it's something completely irrelevant, he freezes up, and I don't know, does he love me, not even love, but does he really even care about me?" I felt tears start to prick a the back of my eyes but I knew that I shouldn't be crying over my devoted boyfriend. It really was only three words.

"Sweetie, it's okay to feel this way, but trust us, Calum loves you, he might just need some time to say it," Kay Kay said. She always knows how to reassure me.

"Thank you guys, now enough of this icky boy talk, let's eat!"

The rest of the lunch we didn't mention the whole thing, we just enjoyed each other's company before planning to meet again next week.  

It had been a couple days since the lunch, and I didn't worry myself thinking about the whole thing. 

I got home from work, put my keys in the bowl, placed my bag down, took off my shoes, then called out for Duke. The small fluff ball yapped at me as I crouched down to his level before checking to see that I wasn’t some intruder, then proceeded to give me kisses.

I was so caught up in the puppy love that I hadn't realized Calum leaning against the counter.

"Hi babe, how was your day?" He asked.

"It was fine, but much better now that I'm with my two favorite boys." He let out a short chuckle at that. 

"How about you go change out of your work clothes, and I start on dinner. How does pasta sound?" The thought of a home cooked meal sounded amazing.

"That sounds amazing Cal, I'm gonna go take a shower and then I'll come and help." With that, I walked up the stairs to the master bedroom. I picked out a pair of pajama shorts and then grabbed Calum's empathy sweatshirt from the closet- it was just too comfy for me not to. I checked my phone before I stripped, seeing a couple of Twitter mentions and some Instagram updates. I turned off my phone, got undressed, and started the shower.

After my shower, I went downstairs to see Calum in his "Kiss the Cook" apron that I had bought for his birthday, singing to a playlist we made over summer, stirring the pasta. I leaned against the counter and admired him, so domestic and cute. 

God I love you, I thought.

"What?" The music was now paused, and the burner off, Calum now looking straight into my eyes, expression cold, now not as domestic and cute. 

"What do you mean 'What?'" I asked.

"What you just said," he asked slowly. "What did you just say."

My face paled as I realized that I had said the L word out loud. 

"Is it okay that I said it?" I asked cautiously, not knowing what his response could be.

"What do you mean 'Is it okay what I said?' Why would you think that?" He let out a sarcastic chuckle. I had never felt scared around Calum, but the frustration in his voice was something new. 

"I just thought-" I felt that we were in a place where it would be okay to finally say those words, but Calum obviously did not. 

"No you didn't, Y/N, you obviously weren’t thinking when those words came out of your mouth." The venom in his voice caused tears to start pooling in my eyes. He took off his apron and started walking towards the door.

"Cal, what do you mean?" 

He scoffed.

"I mean that I can't do this shit. Don't wait up." 

As he said those words the tears started to flow. He grabbed his keys and left. He unlocked the door, and slammed it straight after him, too frustrated to really think. With the slam of the door my first sob was released, so ugly, so wet, so broken. I didn't realize when I had gotten on the floor, but since I was already there, I laid down, letting the sobs rack through my body. With shaking hands, I was able to call Sierra and make out a few comprehensible words to tell her to come over. 

Calum's POV

What did she mean, "I love you?" She can't just say that kind of shit. I didn't care, and I know I should've but what could I do? I saw her tears, and even though I promised to never make her cry, I just had to get out of there. I couldn't be in our house at that moment. I got in my car and drove straight to Ashton's. The less time I spend near our house, where she is, the better.

Just that word, and just all the shit that I’ve seen inevitably comes with it, it's just not something I really wanted to think about. I was happy where we were, I mean moving in together was already a big deal, how about we wait a little more time before we go around saying that. As I walked up to the door, these thoughts ran through my mind, and it briefly crossed my mind how she must be feeling, but I just thought we were in a good place without needing that.

After I knocked on the door, a very angry Ashton opened it, as an equally pissed Kay Kay shoved passed me to get to her own car.

"Mate, you're a complete douche," he stated. He obviously found out, how, I don't know, but I didn't really care.

"I know, but can I come in?" I know that Y/N is his friend too, but as my best mate I just need him to support me right now.

With an annoyed huff, he let me in.

"Make yourself comfortable I guess, I'll grab you a beer," he said as he locked the front door and went to the kitchen.

I nodded in acknowledgement and sat on the couch, resting my elbows on my knees, my head in my hands. Ashton just placed the beer in front of me.

"You obviously came here to talk, or whatever, so talk." He sounded beyond annoyed and disappointed, but I knew he was just trying to help, so I talked. I told him about my weariness around the word, and what was said, how it all went down, and then he was quiet. It felt nice, to be able to feel the weight lifted off my shoulders. It was quiet for a while before Ashton spoke up.

"You still are a massive asshole, you know that right?" I let out a sigh of frustration.

"Yeah, I know." This whole situation was not good.

"At least you know. Mike and Luke are on their way." More people telling me that I'm not a good person, just what I needed.

The doorbell rang not long after, and as it was opened by an unsuspecting Ashton, Luke immediately beelined to Calum, ranting his ear off as Michael closed the door and greeted Ashton.

"My girlfriend just left our house with my dog to cheer yours up! What the fuck is wrong with you, man? She had to bring fucking Petunia to Y/N, you ass! We had to bring out Petunia when her asshole of an ex broke her heart and her grandma died. You fucked up big time, Cal. Also, I had plans tonight, and that isn’t exactly relevant but whatever, man, what the fuck! Y/N is our friend too, so what the fuck did you do and why did you do it to the poor girl?"

As he finished he let out a deep breath and Ashton made sure to stay in between us so that no fighting would happen. Luke was right, as much as I didn't like him right now, Y/N really only needed Petunia when it was really bad.

"Crystal took Southy too," Michael mumbled.

That relieved some tension as we all laughed. That, however, did not last very long.

"She told me that she loves me," I barely whispered.

"And so you bailed," Mike stated simply. As much as it was true, I hated the way it sounded coming from his mouth.

"Yes, okay? I bailed, I didn't know what to do, so the asshole I am I left my girlfriend crying in our kitchen, I feel so great about it," I stated sarcastically.  As I admitted the part about leaving her there, crying, I felt the guilt seep in. I started to feel like crying, and I think that the boys could tell too.

"Hey, Cal, it'll be okay, we promise. You just need to talk to her." Luke's tone was a lot softer now, especially since I started to cry as he started to talk. His hand and Ashton’s rubbing my back like I was some child. Not that it wasn’t nice but their pity just made me feel worse. The few tears and sniffles eventually led to big fat, elephant tears, rolling down my face, and hiccups escaping every once in a while. I know it isn't very macho, but I really fucked things up.

I was barely able to get out, "One of the last things I said to her was that 'I couldn't do this shit.'"

At that they all looked at me with sympathy, realizing that it was a lot worse than they originally had thought. I started to sob. "She probably thinks that I broke up with her, that I don't want her, but I love her." The last part slipped through my mouth without me thinking, and I could tell the guys definitely noticed.

"You're in some deep shit, my guy," Mike stated plainly. Everyone else just nodded in silence.

Ashton was next to speak up, "I think you should tell her, because she deserves to know, but let us talk to Sierra or someone first okay?" I hated the way he sounded like he was talking to a first grader, a child, but I hated even more the way that it comforted me so much.

"Sounds good." Something in me was still hesitant as I wiped my sleeve across my face. This was not at all what I had anticipated for tonight. We were going to eat our pasta, drink some wine, watch an old movie that we've probably seen way too many times, play with Duke, make out a little on the couch, then head up to bed. However, all because of me, we would have to save that for another night. That nice evening plan has been completely thrown out the door when I left.

Your POV

It had been a while since Calum left. At least I wasn't alone, I had three very supportive friends, and three very cute and dogs, too.

But now isn’t the time to admire my friends and their wonderful dogs. Right now is the time to cry and just shout and yell and be mad at the whole fucking world and share a bottle of wine and just let go and not care about the consequences. I had always been an emotional drunk, and a lightweight, having been told many times, but tonight, instead of being angry, I just felt sad, and tired, and weak, hopeless even, just completely drained. All that ran through my mind was his words over and over again, and how angry he was, his face so cold. "I can't do this shit." It was draining, picturing it so vividly over and over again. Sure, I had had a little too much to drink, but no one wanted to be the one to stop me.

Sure, there was anger, maybe in the middle, but it lasted maybe ten minutes, and then everything just felt sad. I cried to Petunia, telling her how much I loved her, and when she grunted back at me, I broke down. I broke down because here I was, sitting on my kitchen floor still, my three closest friends standing at my counter watching me tell a dog I love them for them to actually reciprocate at least something. How ironic. 

 I sat there, Duke in my lap, Southy staring at me from the couch, and Petunia lying on my right, two empty wine bottles on my left. I sat there petting Duke and Petunia, silent tears falling as I mumbled sweet nothings to the two of them.

"This fucking hurts. A lot," I stated simply. Calmly too, but after a couple seconds a fresh wave of tears came, "This really hurts. I miss him already guys. I know I shouldn't but I do." I could feel their stares as they all came to sit down on the floor with me.

"This hurts a lot, and I know it does, but let’s drink some water and get some food in you, okay? Can you do that for us?" Crystal said. I stared at her with wide eyes, and I knew that the wine couldn't always be there, and God knows it made everything a little less terrible, but I nodded in agreement. Time to be a grown up. 

Somehow I made it to the couch, now having a blanket and all three dogs in my lap or at least near enough for support. Most of the tears had dried when I realized I was still wearing his empathy sweatshirt. I put the hood up, and took in that smell, that Calum smell that was just so distinctly him, and I cried. These were full on sobs, and I'm sure I looked hysterical, crying into a sweatshirt, but here I was. This jacket just held so many memories, and although it seems like something so insignificant, he wore it on our first date, a night with so many good and pure memories attached. He had asked me to move in with him wearing that sweatshirt, it was that jacket when we talked about our dream home, the one that feels so cold now. Just the thought of his face, his cheeks, his eyes, the kindness they hold, and his smile, I couldn't help wondering if that would ever be directed at me again, and the thought just ripped me in half.

Kay Kay gingerly handed me a cup of water. "I just want you to know that we love you, and I know that word is sensitive right now, but the girls and I, Ashton, Luke, Mike, we all love you okay? And the dogs." That alone brought another wave of tears, although mainly sad, I did chuckle a little at the mention of the dogs. I nodded and gave her the best smile I was able to produce. As I listened to everyone's supportive words, his harsh ones came back. "I can't do this shit. I can't do this shit. I can't do this shit." That and the painful slam of the door just kept on haunting me, I felt hopeless.

"At least some people love me." I mumbled. I could see that my friends had started to get teary, "I didn't tell you guys what he said, before he left." I swallowed thickly, the room so tense I felt like I was drowning.

"He uhm he- he said that he couldn't do this shit anymore." As I spoke, it felt like pushing a big fat rock through my throat, just painful and so heavy. I felt so stupid, and that there was nothing else for me to in that moment, but cry. I saw my friends shed a tear or two as they listened.

"I hope you know that none of this is your fault, okay sweetie? We love you, and we know that this hurts but we're here for you," Sierra said. At some point they all came to the living room and were sitting with me. All I could do was nod.

Although their words were comforting, I couldn't help but feel selfish, so fucking selfish that I still wanted Cal to be with me. For him to be saying I love you and for him to be the one giving me cups of water and saying everything will be alright. As selfish as it was, I knew that I couldn't do that. I knew that the girls knew. That despite all the hurt, I still needed him. I knew that it was my fault, and that he might never come back, so I did all I had done in that past hour or however long it had really been, and I pulled the dogs closer to me, and I cried myself to sleep on that couch in his stupid green empathy sweatshirt.

As I was asleep, the girls talked a little bit, Crystal saying that Mike texted her telling what was going on at Ashton's, and them planning on how they would deal with Calum. They knew that he was a somewhat mess, but they knew that Calum was not nearly as physically crushed as the girl asleep on the couch was. She looked small, and so tired, and they wanted nothing more than to protect her as best they could.

Calum's POV

The boys had put on a movie some time ago, but I didn't bother following the plot. Looking at the screen gave me a headache, but looking anywhere else all I saw was her, crying on the floor. I swear as I left our house, after I slammed the door and I heard her sob, I have never wanted to leave anywhere faster. I knew it was stupid of me, and that I was terrible and should never had done that to to her, and I know that I love her. I felt a tear slip past, but I wiped it away before anyone could see. 

"I know I acted like a major asshole, but I love her guys. I just know for sure that I love her, and there sure as hell isn't anyone else for me; I just really need to see her," I said suddenly.

I think this surprised the guys, but he got a response.

"The girls texted, said she fell asleep crying, but also that she wanted to see you," Ashton said, still annoyed, but understanding.

Luke however, interrupted, "Well she never said that she wanted to see you but apparently she was crying into your hoodie and never took it off, so we assumed that she wants to see you. She really fucking loves you dude."

"Well thanks for that wonderful speech, Lucas, but let's just get our boy here to his girl," Mike said. We all nodded and went out to Ashton's car, and for the most part we were silent all the way to our house. As we went up the driveway I started to feel more nervous. I saw the girls' cars parked outside, and it was comforting to know that at least she wasn't alone.

Ashton turned off the ignition and turned to look at everyone.

"Calum will be the last of us to go inside, capeesh? We’ll talk to the girls, 'cause from what it seems she was asleep. Once the area is secured, Calum can come in and he will talk to the girls first, and then maybe talk to Y/N. If not, we drive him back to my place for the night." I appreciated how much control over the situation Ashton took, although I really hoped I would be able to talk to her. I don't know how it would feel, not falling asleep next to her, probably a lot of hurt, and pain, but that's what I caused in the past hours.

We all nodded and the boys went in, and I stayed in the car. They had been gone, inside of my house for 15 minutes when my phone buzzed.

Luke US:

Coast is clear, we are a go for eagle, godspeed.

Seeing that terrible text, I turned off my phone and got out of the car. I had never really felt nervous to enter our house. Every day, opening that door, and just feeling the warmth, regardless of who was there. We prided ourselves on that homey environment we had worked to pull off. Really, a beautiful home, but as I opened the door, hesitant for the first time, as soon as I stepped in, that warm environment was gone. I felt a chill run down my spine, and I felt some tears collect back in my eyes.

The emptiness of our home, despite the eight people and three dogs, and the countless number of small plants and all the decorations, and everything we worked so hard to have in our shared space, came as a shock. I knew I was at fault, but if this was how our home felt, our shared physical space, I had no idea how she could be feeling.

I knew she felt terrible, and probably responsible, and that she probably thinks that I'm officially the worst boyfriend ever. She probably is second guessing most of our relationship and her actions, and I know the way she thinks, and I hate that I caused her this much pain.

I stepped closer to the couch, where I could see a happy Petunia clutched by her arms, Duke cuddling into her side. If I hadn't known the reason, it would've been the perfect picture, but I knew that know wasn't the time. I leaned over the couch, and Duke sensing my presence started to get antsy, so I picked him up and greeted him as I would any other day. It was almost deja vu, and I realized that this was almost how we started our night.

My puppy love woke up Y/N, and despite looking so small, and so fragile, she still looked as beautiful as ever.

"Hi babe," I said carefully, I decided to sit at the end of the couch, where her feet were. I saw the way she tucked Petunia closer to her, and tried not to take too much note of it. "I just wanted you to know that I love you."

A small gasp escaped not only her mouth, but Sierra's, Kay Kay's, and Crystal's too. Obviously shocked to hear my words. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see someone's enthusiastic fist pump. All six still in the kitchen decided to go outside, to give us some privacy. I then looked at her, her eyes watery again, and she nodded.

"I know that I made you feel shitty. Hell, shitty isn't the right word, even. I broke you down, and I never should've reacted the way that I did, it was immature and irresponsible. I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore, but I think that we can work through this." I felt my own eyes get watery, I mean I know that what I did was wrong, but if we couldn't work through this, I don't know what I'd do.

I was so consumed in my thoughts that I barely heard her release a sob. I was immediately at her side. I shifted so that her head was in my lap, and it was slightly awkward, but it felt so much better. She was still holding Petunia, and Duke went back to his place next to her side. I played with her hair, my fingers soothingly going through her head. It had been a nice silence for a while, before she spoke up.

"I love you too," she barely whispered. Her voice was hoarse from all the crying, and it broke my heart. "I-I just, I don't know if I could function without you Cal. I just, I know that this was all stupid, but I love you, and I'm sorry we couldn't talk about it properly." Hearing her voice break made me look down at her face as she was still crying. I shifted her, and made it in a way that it was comfortable for me to hug her, and for her to hug Petunia. It was nice, comforting, just overall a nice moment.

"Don’t apologize, okay? It’s on me. I swear babe. I don’t think I could live without you, seriously. There is no one else I’d rather have this life to share with, and I love you, forever okay?" With my last words I held out my pinky finger. It was something we did when we had first started being friends, we always made pinky promises, and pinky promises were never broken.

"Forever," she said as she linked our pinkies.

Of course we would need to talk about it more, but with our current mental states, the pinky promise and the light kisses to the forehead were enough reassurance for tonight. She fell asleep, on the couch, again, this time with a smile on her face, and I smiled too. I smiled as I returned Petunia back to Luke, and then picked her up and brought her up, Duke happily following us. Laying in bed next to her, the tears dried away, it felt right again, our house was definitely back to being a home, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

a/n: so this is something i’ve wanted to write for a while because it’s actually semi real life (not me ofc i cry someone i know) and i think their story is super cute. i’ve made some alternatives e.g. in real life it’s a church/school setting but because i’m posting on tumblr i decided to change it to a tutoring academy/school setting. but do let me know if you want a  version of the original setting :) also this ended up being really really long (mainly bc i know like a lot of exact details and wanted to include as much as i can) and im unsure if you guys like my writing style but im hoping to improve more over time as i hopefully write more bullet point styled scenarios :) 

so you’ve been going to this tutoring academy for a while and you go like once a week

you actually look forward to tutoring bc u were actually put in a really good class where everyone is friends and even have a group chat for memes 

anyways theres this guy called joshua who sits at the back

and hes like the most handsome guy in the class and all the girls /not so/ secretly fawn over him 

and like there are loads of rumours about him which claim that he opened his own lil company that makes apps and stuff which earns him $$$ at the age of 12 and how he like used a drone to capture the whole of his relatives wedding and how he like mastered 3 instruments and is a tech genius and on top of that really smart

which you obviously dont believe because thats not even human ??

anyways you do admit he’s sort of ok-above-average lookswise but u aint that shallow because he has a bad personality and you just hate him 

but you have evidence for hating him !! 

one time you accidentally walked into him verbally being mean to this other poor guy 

so you naturally just assumed he was a bully and had a bad impression of him

you thought he was a prideful annoying rude and horrible person 

and you just dont understand the hype about him at the tutoring academy 

like they literally give out flyers with his face on it ?? umm ?? what marketing purposes lmao 

anyways one day at tutor

your friend kyulkyung is like omg did u hear joshua is transferring to our school next year hdkhfaaku

kyulkyung is highkey a fangirl of him and always tries to talk you into him being a lil angel and nice person but you just snort lol

anyways you obviously dont care that he’s going to your school next year so you just shrug whatever 

later that night when u get home u get a friend request on facebook from...dun dun DUNNNN what a surprise joshua hong 

and you’re kinda like well ok ?? no harm in accepting a friend request 

you accidentally click on his name too and think oh well might as well stalk him a bit 

and damn his fb profile is super interesting bc he actually posts a lot but its not like dumb stuff boys usually post about video games 

but like cute family pictures of him and his lil bro and you’re like this boy is family oriented i LIKE 

then you suddenly come across a video...of this guy from your tutor...on kids masterchef

so u watch it and its the cutest thing ever

and omg apparently he made it to the semi finals of KIDS MASTERCHEF???

you keep scrolling down and thats when u come across the evidence of him opening up his company with an app and tech jazz and u r like is this guy even rEALL

you’re still doubtful tbh so u go the appstore and type in his app and it comes up...even with CREATOR OF XX APP: JOSHUA HONG ???? you literally fall off ur chair bc wow 

he cooks, he makes apps, he’s family oriented..that is all i need in a man HA HA 

so next time at tutor u see him ur lowkey like the other girls staring at him bc wow he seems decent all of a sudden lol 

ur other tutor friends are like: u r so lucky y/n josh’s gonna be at ur school 

and ur kinda thinking maybe i should befriend him now cos he’ll defs be super popular at school 

but tbh this fawning literally stops after 2 days and you go back to reality and focus on ur studies and all that 

well as for joshua he doesnt really know u too to him ur that cute girl from tutor nothing much 

fast forward to the next year ~

you kinda fully forget that josh is even coming 

so the first school day back is all nice and chill and u get to ur fave class music heheh 

you love music bc it really helps u concentrate and you also play clarinet and piano and love it 

you’re also topping the class and sometimes you think you wouldn’t mind being a music teacher 

so in music u take a seat next to your friend seungkwan who has power vocals and plays trumpet and when he sings at school performances you always accompany him as a pianist with woozi on drums 

you and suengkwan are just chatting and catching up about holidays

when the teacher walks in followed by a student and you see that its joshua 

and you’re like thinking o crap this is really awks i should hide

before u can do any of that tho he kinda makes a  beeline for you and takes the seat next to u cos he only knows u in the class haha 

and you’re literally looking the other way and u pretend u dont notice him take a seat next to u and you’re overly engaged in conversation with seungkwan

but seungkwan being the lovely and outgoing kid notices joshua and is like: hey!! are u new dont think ive seen u before

seungkwan is friends with everyone and everyone loves him back

joshua: uhh yeah i’m new 

and seungkwan is super excited and like welcome!! i’m seungkwan and he sticks his hand out and is like and ur name is?

joshua is like i’m joshua 

and seungkwan is like oh btw this is y/n 

and it gets super awks cos u guys know of each others existence but maybe have talked like once when he had to pass u a bag of chips at tutor and u were like thank u 

and seungkwan senses something and eyes you guys back and forth 

after 837491 decades josh breaks the silence and is like hello y/n in a really meek voice

and you awkwardly smile and say hi 

luckily class starts and the teacher introduces joshua to the class and asks him what instruments he plays 

and the rumours prove to be true - he plays 3 instruments piano guitar and flute the real life guy cant play piano lmao

teacher asks him to demonstrate with the instrument hes most confident in 

and so he starts playing the guitar to the tune of fireflies by owl city and also shyly starts singing to the lyrics check out how cute joshua is playing fireflies on his guitar here IM sOFTTT

and everyone is in awe at how good he is 

and you lowkey feel your heart rate increase bc boi you love guys that play guitar and sing well 

the way he sings is very gentle and sweet and the way he strums the guitar with his long fingers and how his eyes are full of gentle passion just makes you sWOOON

and somehow the way he sings with his emotions poured in just really touches your heart 

after his performance everyone starts clapping and some girls even stand up and cheer lmao 

he gets back to his seat and seungkwan gives him two thumbs up and says: bro are you kimbap kidding you were great you really should play guitar for me next time i sing

thanks says joshua bashfully and he kinda looks over to you with a hopeful look as if hoping you’d say something too

so you’re quickly like: yeah you were really good :)

josh: thanks y/n

anyways the teacher shushes everyone and is like: let me announce your first assignment! it’ll be in groups of 4 and it’ll be a cover of a pop song of your choice which you’d have to arrange yourselves. if you need help, you are welcome to ask other classmates that have experience in arranging or to ask me

whenver its group work you and seungkwan always join woozi

woozi comes over to you guys 

and then both woozi and seungkwan are like to joshua: wanna join our group pls

and so joshua joins your group 

and everyone else in class is jealous lmao because u 4 are definitely the top group with all the musical geniuses 

ur kinda happy that joshua joined ur group bc he’s really good at guitar 

and so u guys decide that u will do keyboard, joshua on guitar, woozi on drums and seungkwan on vocals 

and y’all learn that joshua knows how to hack into arranging music programs for free 

and woozi is like: WHAT MY LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE????

also shows u guys that infamous app you made and he has some secret code so u guys can download it for free instead of buying it for $15

ur group actually gets along really well and has good dynamics bc everyone has great ideas on what songs to do and how to do it and stuff 

and its actually really fun with them even though you’re still awkward around joshua for no reason and he’s kinda shy too lmao

joshua suggests doing “breakeven” by the script 

and u have a fangirl moment bc u love the script and everyone agrees that its a great song choice :)

anyways one day you guys decide to meet after school to practice and  to refine the arranged piece which joshua and woozi did 

BUT FOR SOME ODD REASON seungkwan can’t make it anymore bc he has to babysit his little brothers and woozi has a student council meeting 

so its just you and joshua

and you two have never been like alone before like during group practice you guys make small conversation when the other two there and its all good and sweet but this was gonna be AWKWARD 

anyways so you try to initiate conversation by asking how he’s finding the new school 

and he just gives a short answer: pretty ok 

and it becomes you two just asking each simple questions and giving short replies

but its only when you he asks you how you started getting into music that the conversation really starts going somewhere because your eyes light up while talking about music and so does hie eyes

and you guys talk about how classical music is so under-appreciated these days and how mozart is a music legend and just the beauty of music etc. etc.

and in no time its getting really dark and you both have to head home

you guys walk to the bus stop and he gets on your bus 

and you’re like: hey i don’t think i’ve seen you catch this bus before?

joshua: yeah, but this bus also takes me home there are two buses that stop near my home!

you: oh ok cool 

from that day on you and joshua actually got super close due to both your love for music

you guys always practiced together with seungkwan and woozi even when the group performance was over (and your group topped and got A+!!!!!!!!)

you also encouraged joshua to join the school band club which seungkwan and woozi were also part of

you literally baited him in because the school band club was going on tour to europe next year to get some sick masterclass training and perform at famous places in austria 

so he basically joined so he could go to europe ;)))))) HEHEH

and even though you guys have different friend groups you guys sat near each other in the classes you shared, went to band club every monday morning at like 7am and also sometimes grabbed food together before tutoring 

this was when literally EVERYONE at tutoring and school started shipping u two together and you’d get embarrassed and joshua wouldn’t really say much either 

and to be honest deep in your heart you thought joshua was the ideal boyfriend but you had a rule where you weren’t gonna date in high school bc you wanted to focus on studies and you thought that high school relationships dont last and that they were pointless

and you’ve never really had a crush before so you’re super clueless lmao 

one time students in ur music class volunteered to busk on the streets and you thought it’ll be fine so u and ur squad (josh, seungkwan and woozi) all signed up for it ^^ 

BUT when the day came around, woozi had a really bad fever and couldn’t get out of bed and seungkwan’s mum had to show up to work so seungkwan had to babysit his little brothers again

and so the busking was at school ..,,, except when u got to school the gates were locked AND it literally started pouring 

you regretted not agreeing to your mum driving u bc u were a good daughter and didn’t want to bother her when it was her birthday 

you also regretted not bringing an umbrella with u as u didn't want to miss ur bus 

and so there you were soaking wet in the rain on a saturday morning not pleasant 

you didn't know what to do and none of your gal friends were busking and u didn't want to bother them so you ended up calling joshua and he picked up in 2 rings 

joshua: hey whats up?

you: sorry to ask of this but are you almost at school? because the gates are locked

joshua: oh really? i’ll be there in like 1 minute

you: ok see you soon

and in exactly one minute a car appeared and joshua hopped out with an umbrella

and he had the most concerned expression when he saw u soaking wet without an umbrella

joshua: omg y/n are you stupid why dont you have an umbrella

you just sighed as he held the umbrella above both ur heads 

joshua: why don’t we go inside my mums car before we decide what to do i dont want you getting sick :( 

you guys headed to his mums car and he just held the umbrella above both your heads and you noticed that it covered more of you than him

he could have easily put his arm around u so he wouldn’t get wet at all 

but this was one thing you came to notice and really admire about joshua

that he’s such a respectful gentleman 

whenever you befriended a guy you’d low key make it clear that you weren’t interested and just jokingly friend zone them 

he never made you uncomfortable with his actions or words and always 100% respected you and kept his boundaries 

anyways soon u guys found out that you had to enter the school from the back gates instead of the front  gates and the rain slowly came to a stop

cue: joshua’s mum eyeing you two in the rear mirror from the front lmao

anyways the day went well and you guys had a lot of fun busking together and even got ice cream together afterwards :)) 

next year rolls around and you guys have only maths and music classes together but still hang at tutoring

its  valentines day and tbh u never expect much because you’ve never received a red rose you’ve only gotten those  yellow friendship roses 

but during roll call the person giving out roses is like: y/n a red rose for you!!!! and you’re so SO happy bc who could be this secret admirer??

the rose also came with a super lame pick up line “did it hurt when you fell from heaven?”

you were so curious as to who it was 

joshua: oooOOOHHHH whose the unlucky guy pls we all know its you lmao

anyways europe FINALLy  rolls around and heck u are keen to visit mozart’s house

some of your girl friends like eunwoo, yuha and roa are also going 

when the whole band club arrives in europe every day is busy busy with music workshops and such and its only 5 days in where the teachers who came on the trip give the students like 3 hours of free time

teacher: ok u guys must be in a pair at least so u don’t get lost!!

however, all ur friends only want to go shopping while u wanted to take a walk and admire the scenery of europe 

but then someone taps you on the shoulder and u turn around and its joshua 

joshua: hey what were you planning to do during the free time?

you: i wanted to look around and see the architecture and the scenery and stuff but everyone wants to go shopping :( 

joshua: oh really! thats so good because me too i’d rather take a walk around here rather than go shopping; all my friends wanted to shop too 

you: omg thats great we are always in sync arent we haha

joshua: yeah we are! let’s go together then?

so you and joshua walk around the land of austria and admire the beautiful architecture and takes pictures of the scenery and visit all the pretty churches 

it’s literally your favourite day so far in europe bc you’re so happy ahhaa

(little did you know tho seungkwan literally refused joshua to hang out with him bc he was so sick of seeing joshua tiptoe around you. seungkwan: I BEG U TO HAVE SOME ALONE TIME WITH HER PLS BE ROMANTIC PLS CONFESS ALREADYYYY)

so that night dinner is also free time so students can choose where they wanna go to eat and seungkwan joins you guys and you guys all end up in a really fancy and aesthetic restaurant 

where the lighting is dim, there are lit candles and roses hung around and its literally a beautiful restaurant

you’re super oblivious but seungkwan is like glaring at joshua the whole time and kicking him under the table 

while they’re having a staring contest you’re just chatting away about how much of a great time you’re having and how this is the first time in your life you’ve been inside such a nice restaurant and  chugging on your food 

after the meal you take a toilet break and little do you know while you’re doing so seungkwan is giving mediating lessons to joshua so he can calm down 

and by the time you get back seungkwan is gone

you: oh where did seungkwan go?

joshua: oh he just went to chat with woozi

you take a seat and is like: so do u reckon we should head now?

and then joshua is like: actually there’s something i really want to say to you

and you just look at him super confused bc did something bad happen?? and you’re just super clueless and oblivious to his feelings towards you

bc the reason why ppl even ship u guys in the first place is because everyone can see how the way he stares at you, cares for you, catches your bus thats a 15min walk to his home when there’s one that stops directly in front of his home, how he always helps you with work, how he always encourages you to not give up whenever you’re having a hard time 

and then joshua is like: y/n you probably have an idea already but i really like you, i like you a lot. i’ve liked you since we got ditched by seungkwan and woozi in music class and we ended up talking about music and had a proper conversation. also the rose for valentines day this year, that was me too

and then you blurt out the dumbest thing ever

teacher: ok guys we are heading back to the hotel now!!!!!

you told yourself never to like anyone and up until now you’d never felt your heart race for anyone...you suddenly felt like you lost someone precious....someone special...

you guys part ways and head back to your respective friendship groups 

and the moment you get back to the hotel you head straight for your room, not wanting to talk to anyone about what just happened

bc girl u needed time to process what just happened and to really think bc you’re heart was aching for some strange reason 

(obviously you were oblivious to the fact that you had always liked joshua the whole time sighs) 

you can’t think straight so you decide to call ur sister nayoung 

you completely forget about the time difference between europe and australia 

and so when nayoung picks up she’s groaning into the phone: IDIOT ITS 7AM HERE AND A SATURDAY I NEED MY BEAUTY SLEEP 

you: you won’t believe what happened

nayoung: what did you get a boyfriend lmao

bc before u went to europe ur sister always joked about finding a handsome european guy with a cool accent lmao

so you tell your sister everything that happened and how you felt so empty and lost after rejecting joshua and unexpectedly you even start crying 

and you can hear your sister sigh over the phone

and well it was true that you’d relied on joshua too much recently there were times where you were struggling and u turned to him for advice in particular that time where you were considering dropping out of music bc it was getting stressful and taking up so much time

and no matter what your family and friends said you wouldn’t listen but when joshua advised you mind u with the exact same things nayoung said you somehow trusted his words and he was like your rock at times and always willing to listen to u and encourage u

anyways right after breakfast and before boarding the bus u finally see joshua by himself because seungkwan had gone to the loo 

and you slowly approach joshua taking deep breaths because u were about to face the most awkward conversation of ur life 

but before u actually reached joshua he saw u coming and awkwardly looked away as he rubbed the back of his  neck

but u had to do this nayoung was right what if u regretted this and took this to ur grave he was the one guy u were so comfortable around and u could be yourself and he was so supportive and not to mention cute and smart too
