BOYFRIEND!HAECHAN who zips up your jacket. you always complain in cold weather that it’s too cold and if he sees you with a zip up jacket and it’s open, he’ll tsk and softly scold you. “well i wonder why it’s cold hm?” then zips up your jacket and fixes your hair.

BOYFRIEND!HAECHAN who holds your hand before crossing the street. he knows your capable and has common sense to look both ways before crossing but as your boyfriend it’s his job to protect you. it’s also just out of instinct. his hand blindly reaches for yours and won’t let get til you both make it across the street.

BOYFRIEND!HAECHAN who hands you your water bottle randomly throughout the day and makes you drink it. your water bottle sometimes is always where you’re not at. it’ll be in the living room while you’re in your room at your desk for hours. and he takes the initiative to fill it up if it’s empty or half full. “here, drink please.” and when you do he always says “thank you pretty”. he wants you to stay hydrated !

BOYFRIEND!HAECHAN who always moves you by your waist or belt loops. he always finds a reason to be close to you or touch you somehow. if you’re in the store together he’ll come up behind you and loop his finger through your belt loop and lightly pull so he can see what you’re looking at or holding in your hands. “ooo yeah i like that flavor, can we get it?” “are you gonna finish it, last time you didn’t hyuck.” or if you’re in front of a drawer and there’s something in there that he needs, both his hands find its place on your waist. “excuse me baby, i need a spoon.”

BOYFRIEND!HAECHAN who opens your drink for you. again, he’s very observant when it comes to you. if he sees you struggling opening a soda, he comes to the rescue. “thank you hyuckie.” or he’ll grab a drink for you and always opens it before giving it to you. you also love to watch when he opens a can with one hand.

BOYFRIEND!HAECHAN who lifts your chin to make you look at him. you get shy and all cute (to him) about eye contact, especially with him. when he stares at you it’s with such intensity or emotion and it also has to do with it just being him. he’ll use a finger to lift your chin and sometimes he even uses his thumb too, his thumb softly caressing your chin. he just makes you so nervous and all jelly ! he’ll notice your eyes widen at his touch and frantically looking around anywhere but his face (yet you fail). he smirks, “cute.”

It was a frizzy autumn morning the first feeble ray of the rising sun peered through the window surpassing the light green curtains billowing softly in the wind, two lovebirds were still nestled in the soft bed placed against the wall of the room as the wind brushed over them they burrowed  better in the cocoon made of blankets of nay color.

He hugged her closer to his chest, his touch like a feather as he brushed aside a dark rebel lock covering her cheek he took his time admiring his princess the one and only woman who he has ever loved and who has ever showed anything but the deepest tender love she held only for him, he lost track of time as he stared in awe at her gorgeous features when her eyes fluttered open softly, sleep still clinging to them as she slowly focused her gaze on him, her eyes a bright shade of light green melting with light crinkles of golden he would have stared at all day never getting tired, affection and love dancing in them making them shine like fresh honey on a sunny day,  tenderness dripping over her smile as her hands curled on his heart leaping up with mirth at the soft intimate touch of her Queen taking her place on her throne that has always belonged to her alone, she was an irresistible temptation he felt drawn to like a bear to honey, he leaned closer disclosing his lips only to brush an achingly reverent kiss on her forehead .

“Good morning my princess.” his voice a soft murmur for her alone to ear

“Good morning my bear.” his fingers bolder as he brushed her dark locks in their proper place, his gaze full of promises as he melted his lips on hers.

She loved kisses of any kind for every time he disclosed a side of him for her alone to discover, precious treasure for them both was every kiss they shared, soft, deep and long, savored slowly like a spoonful of honey but way more sweeter.

It was a lovely kiss slow and unhurried as they took their time showing off their love to one another not caring about anything else, the world outside fading out, time slowed almost to a stop not bothering to disturb them in the slightest it would have been useless anyway to desire them to rush over, after a while, they desired to last longer, reluctantly they pulled away only to take breath, their gaze locked to one another mirroring nothing but lovestruck affection, bright green melting with chartreuse in a peculiar color that was only theirs, he hugged her closer to his chest leaving a kiss full of devotion on her hair making her smile even brighter, their voices murmuring sweet nothings to each other with light tender caress, the soft sound melting with the birds chirping outside.

His voice low and deep, sweet like honey as he professed his love unable to keep it hidden in his heart any longer

“I love you too Haechan.” it was unbelievable how these words always manage to make his heart melt completely, making him so happy as he never was unable to know what to do with himself, ready to obey her every order, doing everything and even more just to see that smile reward and precious treasure for his love, he so generously spoiled her with, unable to stay way from showering her with all his love.

They did not rush, nor hurried there was nothing to be anxious for anyway no one chiding him with duties, letting them savor each second of their married life away from the ruckus of the palace, who risked breaking them apart, nestled in a far away village in a cozy cottage hidden amidst the forest, their official duties was to strengthen the border, when needed, and keep an eye on the frontiers with Jade, cultivating in the meanwhile the good relationship between their countries.

Their heart beating in sync, filled with gratitude for that magical story they began to write since their childhood, their friendship nurturing the bud of that tender feeling bloomed to the fullest, a sweet continuation to his messy past, a balm and a reward to them both for sticking close no matter what, strengthening an unbreakable bond forged in blood and written in the stars like in a fairytale whose destiny they choose themselves, the beautiful and passionate tale of the bear and the princess written by their love.

with him now standing in front of you, you're not sure how to go about this and you have to fight your inner self from bursting out into fits of nervous giggles.

fearful, you couldn't sleep from the random rummaging that came from the outside of your house. your parents weren't around due to business trip whatever.

you know yourself a scaredy-cat so why would you check it out? you fear the dark that's why your little pastel lamp is always turned on at night. you hate being alone in a domicile despite your age.

your thick blanket was wrapped around your body as if it's a shield and only the shape of your face could be seen.

suddenly, you heard someone's voice. aggressive and sounds irritated. however, that tone somehow is familiar to you, but you're too scared to think of anyone from that moment and continued pretending to sleep (yet shaking slightly).

"ms. y/l/n-" his word was cut off when you screamed loud and throwing him a heavy pillow which landed directly on his stomach, "ouch that hurts" the guy sarcastically reacted and stepped forward towards you with normal pace.

when you heard the voice, you immediately opened your tightly shut eyes, gasped softly, and jumped from your bed like a grasshopper.

with a big smile, you jumped on his arms twirling in the process. "hyuck! you're here" you almost cried overwhelmed at his sudden appearance from disappearing for fucking 3 days saying that 'they have a family reunion happening in jeju, his hometown'.

but no, donghyuck was actually on a road(?) trip with his gang "dream", leaving their girlfriends alone with the white lies just to bond again.

"you were gone for days hyuckie and my parents left since yesterday for business trip, i was alone" you mumbled on his clothed chest where his heart you tamed was beating.

he cooed at you and pulled you into your bed, you on top of him with hands intertwined as of not wanting each other to let go. his leather jacket not being able to warm up his flaming love for you.

"why didn't you call up your cousin hanni? she could've accompanied your lonely life" donghyuck chuckled lightly at the offense he said and you raised your head to deadpan on him, pinching his side as you did so making him exclaim a cute 'ah!'.

"she have to study for her entrance exam for college while i still have to study the last quarter exam for eleventh grade argh..." you grumbled a bit as you shook your head.

donghyuck caressed your back continuously, calming you, giving you the warmth and protection you deserve. second by second, you felt sleepy from his action. you nuzzled your head to his neck inhaling his peony, rose, and lychee scent.

and so, you fell asleep with donghyuck's arms wrapped around you and your blanket covering both your lower bodies.

"Babe?" You mumbled against your boyfriend's chest, "Can I talk to you about something that's been on my mind for a little while?" Chenle chuckled at your shyness before holding onto you and allowing you to continue.

"I don't know where to start, or how to say this, but I'm just going to go with it. Honestly, when I got myself into this relationship, I didn't realize it was going to be this hard," You said honestly to your boyfriend as you laid in bed together, "I love you, Chenle, I really do, but your parents are so involved in our relationship that it feels as if I'm always being judged or whatever I do is never good enough."

"I promise you, it's not like that! I know it may seem that way, but it's really not," Chenle tried to explain as he held you tightly, lips brushing against your temple.

"How can you be so sure? All the arguments you have with your family, always fall back on me. Your parents are upset are you for spending money on me and they tell you it's not worth the money to come and see me? How can I not think it's about me?"

Chenle didn't say anything because deep down, he knew you were right, but he never wanted to admit it because he loved you. He loved you no matter what got in the way, and as selfish as it was of him sometimes, he didn't want you to know the truth. He didn't want to see you hurting.

"I know we have cultural differences, but I think this is a little more than that?" You sighed as you sat up and looked down at him, "I spoke to my friends and they said the same, it's partially culture related, but the rest is your family being very full on? I don't even know. I don't want you to hate me for telling you how I feel or what I think."

"Hey," Chenle cooed as he sat up, fingers brushing away the stray tear that fell, "I don't hate you, I could never!"

You cried a little harder at his words as you fell into his arms and held him tightly, "I know you may not see this as progress baby, but it really is. Every day I'm trying, I feel like I'm getting somewhere to changing their mind slowly about something," He tried to explain, holding back his tears at your shaking body, "I know it's not ideal and I know you can't help but feel invalid, but please understand my situation too and know that not a second of the day goes by without me fighting for us.

You nodded against his chest in understanding. Despite not totally agreeing with where things are at, you could at least give it a bit more time before making a decision about what to do next. At the end of the day, your love for one another is what's important.
