Ikesen Boys React to Tattooed MC pt 1
This was an ask from @otomedad that I just had to write. I did some reading up on the history of tattooing in Japan and there was so much that I found super interesting. So! Here goes, starting with Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Masamune! Approx. 1500 words.
Nobunaga
“What’s this, fireball?”
You feel Nobunaga’s breath tickle your shoulder blade, his lips so close they almost brush your skin. For a moment, you don’t know what he means. It’s hard to think when parts of you are being ‘claimed’, afterall. But you smile as the memory comes back to you. Sitting on a stool, arms braced on the counter in front of you, with the buzz of the tattoo gun in your ear. “You like my koi?”
His fingers brush the inked design, tracing the outline of the leaping fish. “It is very well done.” He does not sound pleased, though he’s trying to hide it.
“You don’t.” A slight pout draws your lips out and down.
Nobunaga stills behind you, so motionless that you don’t even feel him breathing. Just as you are about to break the silence, he wraps his arms around you, pulling your back against his chest. “It is part of you, so it is beautiful.” His chin rests on your shoulder, just above the tattoo in question. “Why did you receive this mark?”
There is an unexpected tension in his voice, and you laugh to ease it before explaining. “I got it after I graduated from design. It represents my struggles, and my determination.” You turn your head to kiss his cheek.
He regards you with a serious expression, tense despite your affection.
“Do you really hate it?” You can’t help how vulnerable you feel as you meet his carnelian gaze.
“I told you. It is beautiful, as you are. But . . .” He pauses, a slight grimace crossing his expression. “I do not like that someone marked you. Someone else claimed this -” He leans back to spread his hand over the koi. “Every part of you is mine.”
“Are you jealous of my tattoo artist?” You grin, unable to hold back. “You know I picked the design and the colors and everything, right? He was just some guy with a good flash book . . .”
Nobunaga’s frown does not ease, though you know that he’s aware this is ridiculous.
You snuggle back against him. “Alright, alright. I understand. If you could do tattoos, I’d get one from you, ok?”
Something mischievous flickers in his gaze and a slight smile turns up the corners of his mouth. “Yes. This is acceptable.”
You aren’t sure what he’s accepting. Nobunaga can’t do tattoos, right? Right? Whatever questions you have disappear as his lips find that sensitive spot at the back of your neck.
Hideyoshi
You roll up your sleeves to start working on the kitchen’s herb garden. The day is warm and sunny, promising a hot afternoon. It’s a good thing you’re starting early.
About an hour into the weeding, Hideyoshi stops by with a tray of cool water and a wide straw hat. He kneels beside you. “You know it’s bad for your skin to be exposed to sunlight for so long. Even in the morning, you can’t -” He stops midword, his mouth hanging open.
“Hm?” You look up, dusting your hands off. Before you can ask anything else, Hideyoshi grabs your elbow.
“What is this?”
You realize he’s pointing at the serpent tattoo on your forearm. The snake curls over itself in a complex circle, with the head pointing at your wrist and the tale toward your elbow. “Oh! Erm,” you give an embarrassed laugh. “That.”
“I knew you couldn’t be trusted.” Hideyoshi holds your arm up, inspecting it. “A thief. I should have guessed. What prefecture is this? Where are you really from?” The questions come lightning fast, his usual gentle lecturing tone replaced with a hard, brittleness that does not suit him at all.
“A thief? Are you serious right now?” You try to yank your arm back, going from bewildered to angry.
Hideyoshi pulls you up to standing. “If you won’t answer my questions, maybe you’ll answer Mitsuhide’s.” He glares at you. “I can’t believe I - I called you my sister!”
You take a breath, trying to hold in the tears suddenly threatening at the corners of your eyes. Sister. Why was this man so infuriating? First putting you in the sis-zone, and now accusing you. As if you hadn’t shared so many sweet moments. Almost-kisses. Holding hands. “Why are you freaking out about my tattoo?”
“It marks you as a criminal.” He sighs, looking away. “If you’ll come clean with me, maybe we can -”
“Come clean? Hideyoshi, I told you I’m not from here. In my ah, my village, people get tattoos because they like the way they look.” You wiggle your arm in his grasp. “This one means the cycle of life. Birth and death. Look at it!”
Hideyoshi slowly turns back to examine the mark on your arm. “It is . . . very finely done for a - a punishment.” He purses his lips. “And I do not know of a prefecture that uses a snake . . .”
You nod emphatically. “Exactly. And you know me. Hideyoshi?” Your tone brings his gaze to your face.
He studies you for a moment. Then his grip loosens on your arm, the pad of his thumb stroking your inked flesh. “I may have, um, jumped to conclusions. My apologies.” A breath, then, “Sis.”
“Thanks.” You take your arm back, feelings still hurt.
For a long moment, neither of you says anything. Then he drapes an arm over your shoulder, pulling you to his side. “Let me apologize properly, after work tonight. Stop by after your bath and I’ll rub some oil on your arms and legs.” Hideyoshi’s cheeks hold a faint heat. “A brother should care for his sister when she’s working so hard.”
You know he knows there’s nothing brotherly in the touches you share, but you nod in acquiescence. Then you pull away. “The garden won’t weed itself,” you say.
He grins. “I suppose not.” Hideyoshi’s hand takes yours before you can take a step. “It’s nice. Your tattoo. Once I really looked at it.”
“Thanks,” you smile back, feeling a little better. “I’m looking forward to my massage tonight.” You give him a cheeky wink.
Masamune
You splash to the river’s surface, sputtering from the water in your mouth and nose. Masamune laughs beside you, his strong arm holding you up above the roiling surface of the water as the current pushes you both downstream.
“Maybe next time we should look for a bridge,” you shout to be heard over the river.
“Nah. Where’s the fun in that?” Masamune’s blue eye gleams with unfettered joy as he pulls you toward the opposite shore.
Once you hit the bank and crawl out, you flop back onto the grassy hillside. “Fun? Not drowning is fun. And now I’m soaked.” You glance over to see Masamune already stripping down, laying his clothes out to dry.
He grins when he sees your expression. “What’s the matter, kitten? Tiger got your tongue?”
“Pffft.” You sit up, ignoring the way your face heats. You shrug out of your kimono, very aware of how thin your linen underclothes are. Especially now that they are wet and clinging to your skin.
Masamune’s appreciative look does not help. He grins unapologetically. “I should come out this way more often. Great view.”
You throw a clump of grass at him and jump up to run. He chases you, laughing, and catches you pretty quickly.
His laughter stops with a sharp inhale. “Are you hurt?”
You realize that he’s noticed the ink on your side, a tiger in the midst of peonies. The red, pink, and orange probably look like a wound beneath the opaque cloth. “No, nothing like that.” You carefully tug the linen up to show him your tattoo.
“Wow.” His eye is wide as he takes in the art piece. “Gorgeous.” His calloused finger brushes the skin on your side, sending a shiver across your belly and up your ribcage. “It’s like a painting.”
“Thanks.” You feel more than a little self conscious, but also gratified by his reaction. “It’s supposed to be, like, fragility and strength? Together?” You find yourself a little tongue tied, too focused on his warm hand touching you.
Masamune finally looks up, catching your gaze. “It fits you, kitten. Strong and fragile.” His expression is more serious than you’re used to. A deeper emotion moves in the depths of his blue eye.
The urge to kiss him is strong, but you resist. You tug the cloth back down and step away, heart beating frantically. Masamune likes to flirt, you think, that’s all. You wrack your brain for a witty comment and come up empty.
He smiles, drops his hands. “Our clothes should dry out soon, and then we can continue on.”
“The temple better be awesome. You’ve talked it up too much to take anything less than.” Your destination is safer ground, you think, jumping right into the new topic.
Masamune laughs. “There’s not another like it anywhere.” Something about the way he says it makes you wonder if he means the temple you’re traveling to or something else.
“Worth the trip then?”
He catches a bit of your damp hair and twirls it around a finger. “I’d say this trip is already worth it.”

little excerpt from the current ikesen JP collection event:
Everyone’s attention was immediately drawn to an adorable little girl standing before the entrance.
Sasuke: …Who is that child, Hideyoshi?
Kanetsugu: His daughter?
Keiji: You didn’t tell me you had a secret love child, Hideyoshi!
Hideyoshi: Of course I don’t!
Yoshimoto: Then, whose child is this?
Girl: Huh?
The girl, who had been turning her head this way and that to look at everyone, tilted her head to the side in confusion.
At that moment, Ranmaru appeared to come to a sudden realization, and haltingly voiced a question.
Ranmaru: …Hey. Doesn’t that kid kind of look like Lady Mai?
Keiji & Sasuke: Eh?
Mitsuhide: An excellent observation, Ranmaru. However, this is not Mai’s daughter.
Hideyoshi: Hey there. Now that everyone is here, can you say your name and how old you are again?
Hideyoshi knelt to speak kindly to the girl, who nodded enthusiastically as she grinned.
Mai: I’m Mai! I’m four!
Everyone: !?

Chapter 2 Part 1 Preview

Tumblr media
Mai: "Huh?"
Kenshin lifted my chin.
Kenshin: "I can't bear the thought of others seeing your smile."
Mai: "Nnn."
Our lips met, and a sweet shiver ran down my spine.
(We're in front of everyone!)
I tried to twist away in surprise, but Kenshin's arm wrapped around my back, holding me still.
(He's not letting go!)
Even though I felt flustered, my thoughts melted with each kiss he placed on my lips.
Mai: "Nn…ahh…"
Kenshin: "Still chirping, are you?"
(And whose fault is that?)
His tongue slipped between my parted lips.
The soft, wet sounds of our tongues intertwining tickled my ears.
Kenshin: "It seems you've finally quieted down."
I looked up at Kenshin's smiling face through my blurry vision.
Mai: "Doing that in front of everyone was pretty awful of you."
Kenshin: "No one's watching."
Mai: "There's no way."
Tumblr media
Hideyoshi & Masamune: ".........."
Ieyasu & Keiji: "..........."
(He's right! Everyone is looking away!)
Feeling even more embarrassed, I squirmed in his arms.
Kenshin: "What are you doing? I won't allow you to leave me."
Mai: "Kenshin, we agreed to wait until later!"
Kenshin: "True, you promised to do anything I wanted later, but you were just too adorable."
(Don't say something like that with a straight face!)
Despite the situation, the tenderness in his gaze made my chest tighten.
It felt like my heart was brimming with happiness from being in his warmth again.
(I really do love him.)
I accepted his melting kiss again, which quickly turned into something deeper, leaving me feeling weak.
Sasuke: "Five minutes have passed. Time's up."
(Sasuke!?)
Kenshin frowned as Sasuke interrupted.
Kenshin: "What do you mean, time's up?"
Sasuke: "Time's up. Please let her go."
(He's right, it's time to let go.)
Mai: "Thanks, Sasuke. You saved me. Kyaah!"
Kenshin pulled me back into his arms as I tried to pull away.
Kenshin: "Nonsense. I have no intention of letting Mai go."
Sasuke: "You're as tyrannical as ever."
Kenshin: "Oh? Are you asking me to cut you down?"
Kanetsugu: "Sasuke, accept your fate and face the consequences of your betrayal."
Sasuke: "No thanks."
Sasuke leapt back, putting some distance between himself and Kenshin.
Tumblr media
Ieyasu: "*sigh* How long do I have to keep looking away like this?"
Keiji: "We have no choice but to wait until they're satisfied."
Keiji: "No one can stop their love."
Hideyoshi: "No, enough. We should've stopped this from the start, especially since we're in front of Lord Nobunaga."
Masamune: "Meddling in their love life will get you in trouble, you know?"
Mitsuhide: "Only one person is getting in trouble, and that's Hideyoshi."
Nobunaga: "Hideyoshi, it's fine. Let them be."
(Nobunaga!?)
Hideyoshi, seeing Nobunaga unperturbed, shifted in his seat.
Hideyoshi: "Is that really okay?"
Nobunaga: "Kenshin has stated that he would assist in pacifying the situation for Mai, depending on the conditions."
Nobunaga: "Let Mai, our lucky charm, enjoy this moment."
Keiji: "Lord Nobunaga sure is generous!"
Ieyasu: "*sigh* They should just go home already."
Masamune: "Mai, you'll stay, right? I'll treat you to some delicious food tonight."
Mitsunari: "A feast, then! Let's get ready right away."
Kenshin: "This is ridiculous."
Kenshin's eyes shone ominously.
Kenshin: "Our business here is done. We're returning to Kasugayama Castle."
Mai: "Waah!"
Kenshin lifted me and started walking.
Mai: "Kenshin, I can walk by myself!"
Kenshin: "Oh? But just a moment ago, you were slumped in my arms."
Kenshin: "Am I wrong?"
Tumblr media
Mai: "T-That's..."
(It's because you did that.)
Kenshin: "If you don't want me to see you stumbling, then behave yourself."
Kenshin: "Or are you dissatisfied?"
Mai: "Don't read me so easily. It’s embarrassing!"
(I know that shaking my head here won't help.)
(I've been blushing the whole time, so I'm sure everything's obvious.)
Kenshin, wearing a faint smile, gently pressed his lips to my forehead.
Mai: ".........."
Kenshin: "I refuse. Every one of your adorable expressions and emotions belongs to me."
Kenshin: "It's pointless to act shy. You can’t escape me."
Sasuke: "That sounds like a villain's line."
Kanetsugu: "Lord Kenshin's words are absolute; there is no good or evil in them."
Sasuke: "As expected from the serious Kanetsugu."
Kanetsugu: "Well, I'm his loyal vassal."
As Kenshin continued walking, Sasuke and Kanetsugu followed him.
Nobunaga: "Kenshin, wait."
(Huh?)
Kenshin: "What is it?"
When Kenshin turned around, Nobunaga fixed a strong gaze on him.
Nobunaga: "Thank you for taking care of this."
Nobunaga: "I will surely achieve unification."
(Nobunaga is thanking him!?)
Kenshin: "..........."
Kenshin: "Don't forget that I said I would assist depending on the conditions."
Nobunaga: "Of course. And Mai..."
Mai: "Y-Yes!?"
Nobunaga: "Take care, and may happiness keep finding you."
Tumblr media
Mai: "Um, I'll do my best!"
I bowed my head from Kenshin's arms toward the smiling Nobunaga.
Hideyoshi: "Mai, once you've settled down, come visit us sometime."
Masamune: "Next time, I'll cook you something delicious."
Ieyasu: "It's cold over there, so don't catch a cold."
Mitsunari: "Please take care of yourself and stay healthy."
Mai: "Thank you, everyone!"
(I want to visit again soon.)
Kenshin: "That's enough. Let's go."

May I request warlords had a big fight with MC until she cried, and now they have to comfort her because she is locking herself in a room and refused to come out. (She is sulking) What if they are married? Thank you!
Hello! Ohh this one will be sweet! Thank you for the request.
Warlords comfort MC after a big fight.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
Nobunaga is the kind of person who, when faced with problems with his relationship and doesn’t know how to handle it, will call all the warlords for a war council to ask for advice. It wasn’t his intention to make you cry, but now it was too late since you wouldn’t come out of your room.
After taking in all the advice he receives, Nobunaga stays on the other side of the door to your room and begins apologizing, offering to share his favorite candy with you. He will keep doing it until you open the door.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
Hideyoshi doesn’t like fights, he tries his best to avoid them. Specially when they can lead you to cry. But on the occasion that it happens, he will try his best to spoil you until you aren’t upset anymore.
If you lock yourself away, he will be making constant visits to try and talk to you and leave a gift for you, all that until you open the door.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
Mitsuhide pays attention to not go overboard with fights, precisely because he doesn’t want to argue and hurt you. But if that happens, he will make sure you don’t even have time to lock yourself away.
The moment tears fall from your eyes, he will pull you into a hug and comfort you with sweet gestures.
Mitsunari Ishida.
Fights? What fights? Mitsunari is too sweet of a person to actually make anyone cry, even if a fight does happen.
Ieyasu Tokugawa.
Ieyasu can be… harsh with his words, and that’s something he tries to work on as to not upset you. If a fight does occur, he will flinch and freeze once he sees that you are crying.
He will calm down and apologize for his words, feeling guilty that he made you shed tears because of him.
Masamune Date.
Masamune will think a lot about how to ask for forgiveness, and after a lot of thought put into it, he will cook your favorite food to attract you out of the room. The moment you are out, lots of kisses and a tight hug awaits.
He will easily comfort you and melt all your anger away.
Ranmaru Mori.
Again, what fight? This another sweet guy can’t stand the thought of making you upset and wouldn’t start an argument, he wouldn’t want to see you crying.
Keiji.
Keiji is another one who doesn’t pay attention to how harsh he may sound until it’s too late, he will curse himself for hurting you and will think of ways to cheer you up.
The best way for him to apologize would be, ironically, being honest with you and tell you how he feels and that he didn’t want to make you upset.
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
Kenshin would actually think of punishing himself, he is willing to destroy anything that may hurt you, that includes himself. Of course, after the others convince him to focus on making you feel better, he will do his best to comfort you.
Considering that he can be a bit… extra, kenshin will arrange many gifts and have all the bunnies surrounding you to give you comfort.
Shingen Takeda.
Shingen could never forgive himself for making you cry, he really was a full. For starters, he hates arguments and tries to avoid them. But when it happens, he thinks a lot on what to do to apologize and comfort you. Thousands of sweet words, kisses and apologies would come your ways
As well as him calling himself a fool for even making you cry.
Yukimura Sanada.
Yukimura will panic when he sees you crying, he didn’t mean to but it ended up happening. What will he do? He freaks out and tries desperately to calm you down and comfort you.
Of course, he was scolded by shingen and was given advice on how to apologize to you. Part of the advice he wouldn’t be able to pull it off, mostly because it was Shingen’s idea on how to apologize, but he still managed to be honest without saying something rude.
Yoshimoto Imagawa.
Yoshimoto is another who avoids fights at all costs, even if an argument is about to start. He is good with words, so if he ends up upsetting you, he will know how to comfort you immediately.
Sasuke.
Sasuke is a peaceful guy, he wouldn’t even start an argument. In fact, he is incapable of it.
Kanetsugu.
Kanetsugu can be… another rough and harsh man, so he makes a lot of effort in comforting you. He lowers his voice and holds you before you can lock yourself away in a separate room.

Tumblr media
It was a cold and blustery day in December as you strolled through the streets of Azuchi. Your hands were filled with bags brimming with gifts for all your friends, including an extra special one for Mitsuhide -- a small porcelain mouse.
Christmas was one of your favorite holidays – the lights and the trees and the family dinner of fried chicken were just some of the things that made this holiday so special to you. You had thought this year would be bittersweet, as it was your first away from home, but it had been anything but so far. Christmas might not have come to Japan yet, but there was nothing stopping you from bringing the spirit of the holidays here.
You had planned to sneak out that afternoon under the ruse of needing to go to the markets in search of new fabric – it was the perfect excuse to go shopping alone to get everyone’s gifts.
And then you ran into Mitsuhide.
“Where’s this little mouse running off to this early?”
Close. So close to freedom.
After you informed him that you were going to the market to pick up some new fabrics, you were shocked when he asked if he could join you. Of course you said yes – who would say no to their boyfriend – but now you were in the unenviable position of trying to evade the kitsune somewhere in the market as you purchased the presents.
As it turned out, Mitsuhide was meeting someone in the markets, so it was easy for you to shop in secret. After spending an inordinate amount of time perusing various shops to find the perfect gifts – down to Nobunaga’s favorite konpeito, sorry Hideyoshi – it was finally time to return home to the castle.
One moment you were hurrying through the streets of the markets in Azuchi, and the next, you were lying flat on the ground. Cheeks warm with embarrassment, you sighed, your bags lying scattered on the ground around you. Your only saving grace was that no one you knew witnessed your fall.
Or so you thought.
Your stomach twisted in knots as you looked up into the crowd and spotted a familiar head of silver-white hair, suppressing a groan as he approached.
“Little mouse,” he said, offering you his hand in assistance. You slipped your hand in his; he easily pulled you up to a standing position. His eyes flickered over your figure, assessing any injuries. He reached out a hand, tucking a stray lock of hair behind your ear. His hand lingered, his fingers grazing your still heated cheeks, his touch comforting.
“You really do need to watch yourself,” he chided, his eyes fixed on a patch of ice on the ground. “It certainly would have been a blue Christmas if you had hurt yourself.”
You turned to him, your eyes wide with awe. How did he know about Christmas? You hadn’t said a word about it as you were waiting until the 25th to surprise everyone. So who told him?
He gazed at you knowingly, his golden eyes twinkling like familiar Christmas lights. He huffed a small laugh, and as if he was reading your mind, he pulled you close to him in a warm embrace, his fingers running through your hair as he held your face close to his heart.
“Lucky for you, I was here to help.”

The Warlords- Dad Headcanon: Hideyoshi
Hideyoshi my beloved <3 The man deserves a vacation into my arms or at least a decent lunchbreak, >Girl dad like Shingen, but "cursed". >5 daughters, all somehow seeming to take after their uncle Mitsuhide in one way or another, at least in Hideyoshi's mind. >Wouldn't trade them for all the sons in the world though. >Professional at playing pretty princess dress up. >Starts fighting off and worrying about boys at a young age. Sees his 4 year old daughter holding lets sayyyy little Nobunaga Oda Jrs hand in the castle gardens and nearly decides to switch sides just to get away from them. >Such a bragging parent. “well myyy daughter managed to hide the sweets this week and it took lord nobunaga double his usual time to find them.” >Meanwhile, the only reason Nobunaga found them was because one of Hideyoshi's daughter's is a master negotiator. >They suckered Nobunaga for some ponies in exchange of goods. >Thrives for his father daughter dates. He makes sure to do something special with each of them individually every week, even if it's something as simple as fixing her hair while sitting outside as they talk. >Takes all 5 on monthly father daughter outings to the local tea house. >Wants his daughters to stay as far away from war and fighting as possible so struggles when they start becoming interested in what he does. >Ropes Ieyasu into teaching them archery as a distraction and some basic protection skills. ".... Two horses, a new set of Kimonos, and a kitten." The little girl looked up at her father innocently. "That's all I asked for this time!" She sips her tea.
Hideyoshi sighs, rubbing his temples."Girls, you can't just say no to Lord Nobunaga and try and negotiate things with him! He's our Lord! Its not nice."
"But dad! You say no to him all the time! We were just trying to help!" his oldest daughter chimes in, the other 3 nodding their heads eagerly."He was trying to get into the candy again! So we hid it!"
"And instead of telling me so I can stop him you blackmailed him?!" Hideyoshi looks at them incredulously. "What in your right mind possessed you to do that?"
"Uncle Mitsuhide said to make every moment an opportunity! He thought it was a good idea and even helped by showing us a good hiding spot!"
Hideyoshi sighs, running his hands through his hair anxiously. "Of course he did." He groans, but he can't help but let a small smile slip onto his face as his girls giggle around him... "

An Evening Snack
I started this fic for @lorei-writes and @wordycheeseblob wish upon an aide event with the passion prompt but I stalled half way through and just finished it recently. It's also different from the others I did for the event and not exactly what I wanted but close enough. I'm still not as comfortable with Ikesen yet but I'm getting there so it was good practice. Kyubei and Chimaki 'talk' about Mitsuhide and Mai over a snack. Pure fluff WC approx 865.
Tumblr media
It was late at night and as always Kyubei was taking one last walk around the manor ensuring it was secure before retiring to his room for the day. As he completed the familiar routine he came to a pause at the entrance.
Is that-?
Hmm?
Is what what?
…No, it's nothing.
In truth Kyubei wasn't all that surprised to see the hairpin adorning Lady Mai's hair, in fact he had been praying he was right. Kyubei continued on his rounds, unaware he had started humming to himself until he reached his final stop at the gardens. In this spot too he found himself pausing and remembering the events of the day.
I was the one who delivered it to Lord Mitsuhide while he was imprisoned.
What?
I asked if he needed anything before he left. He said there was only one thing he absolutely had to get…I believe it was his intent to give it to you upon your return to Azuchi.
“Even though I had just been in the dungeons my heart was uplifted as soon as I saw that hairpin, and knowing that was the most important thing to him at that moment…”
Kyubei let out a long breath and was about to head back into the manor when he heard rustling in a nearby bush.
“Chimaki, have you come to visit again already? I'm afraid I have to inform you that neither the Lord or future Lady of the manor are at home right now.”
Chimaki’s tail flicked at Kyubei’s words.
“Lady of the manor.”
Sighing, Kyubei sat down on the steps and looked up into the night sky.
“My lord has always been alone in the shadows, never concerned with the consequences of the way he's chosen to live his life but now…Now he has finally found someone.”
Chimaki moved slightly towards Kyubei and sat down, looking up at him with big eyes. He laughed knowing what that meant and began to rummage around in his pocket finally pulling out a hand towel that held some rice balls.
“Is this what you're looking for?”
Chimaki let out a small chatter and her tail swished elegantly around her.
“Hehe I thought so, guess I know you pretty well now.”
Kyubei tossed one of the rice balls to Chimaki and she began to eat.
“I like to think I know Lord Mitsuhide well too, I've served him a long time after all. He’s always been passionate about the things he does, giving everything of himself in the process. So much so he doesn't even usually bother to take care of himself beyond the bare minimum. Now there is finally something he truly wants for himself, that makes him happy and is a better use for all his passion.”
Kyubei bit into his own rice ball.
“At first I wondered, just what it was he was planning with her. Never expected that it would be this, though I doubt he expected it either.”
Kyubei let out a soft chuckle and turned his attention up to the stars again.
“I worried about him, his way of life was going to end up killing him one way or another. I don't think he will be in such a hurry to sacrifice himself anymore. Did you know Chimaki, he has already declared his intent to marry her to Lord Nobunaga and Lord Hideyoshi?”
Chimaki looked up from her rice ball and blinked at Kyubei.
“I swear it's true, of course at the time he was using it as cover to keep his other deeds undiscovered or so he said anyways but as I said I know Lord Mitsuhide well.”
Kyubei gave Chimaki a cheeky smile and she seemed to smile back at him.
“His passion and kindness always come through in the end, you just need to know what to look for. I suspect Lady Mai has figured that out as well by now.”
The smile left Kyubeis face replaced by a worried frown.
“She is perfect for him, and the only one who is capable of saving Lord Mitsuhide from himself. I hate that she has to carry such a heavy burden alone…”
Kyubei sat silent for a moment then tossed his barely touched rice ball to Chimaki.
“He's so close, she's right there and all he needs to do is not let go of her.”
Kyubei sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. He closed his eyes and sat in silence for a long moment as Chimaki watched him curiously. Finally he let out another sigh before standing.
“She's survived him this long. All I need to do is have faith, right Chimaki?”
Chimaki stood stretching her front legs and letting out a small raspy bark.
“Exactly, it will all work out.”
Kyubei gave a small nod to Chimaki before he walked away. Chimaki watched and waited until Kyubei was gone and then she laughed while shaking her head.
Of course it will all work out silly man!
A sadly sweet smile flashed across Chimaki's face brought on by something she left unspoken.
We kitsune take care of our own after all, even if this one does happen to be human.

Caught
When you and some of the IkeSen boys get caught being cute ft. Mitsuhide, Ieyasu, Motonari, Kanetsugu
Tumblr media
Mitsuhide:
It was early one summer morning when Mitsuhide had woken (Y/ n), though they had no business that day the rest of the Oda forces would be coming over for breakfast and lunch to check out the new garden Mitsuhide had put in as an anniversary gift for his sweet fiancé. They still had a little time before the rest of the group showed up, so Mitsuhide had decided to take his time with brushing her hair, he's done it many mornings especially on days where there was no rush or an absolute rush. He could only quietly chuckle at her sleepy expression in the mirror, eyes softly shut as she tried not to fall asleep as his fingers moved through her hair with the comb he'd run through each section. "You can rest your eyes if you'd like little mouse~ We still have some time before we have to meet the others out in the garden, so I can pick your outfit if you'd like to get a few minutes of sleep." He watched her (E/c) eyes peak open in the mirror, glancing up at him a moment before a sweet smile spread on her cheeks. "No that's fine, you've been doing a lot for me, and I like spending the mornings with you." She smiled and leaned back against him a moment, her head resting on his shoulder as his arms came down to wrap around her waist. "What can I say? You look so adorable when I spoil you little mouse." Mitsuhide pressed a kiss to the side of her head, nuzzling the spot as he closed his own golden orbs to relax with her for a moment in the warm morning air. Neither noticed the various pairs of eyes that watched from a crack in the door that led to the garden, the group had arrived early and had approached the door to give their greetings when the noticed the couple had yet to fully stir. They took the rare opportunity, Hideyoshi especially, as they had always been curious how he treated her behind closed doors. It was no secret that their princess adored the kitsune like male, she would fist fight someone for that man. (Something they got to witness firsthand; the only thing more surprising was how unsurprised Ranmaru was as he cheered for her to whoop their ass.)
Granted Hideyoshi was just a worry wart, he had always wanted to see some sort of physical proof that Mitsuhide's love ran just as deep as (Y/n)'s. So, to witness this quiet moment of peace between the two, seeing the care he took when brushing her hair and peppering kisses across her neck and cheeks. The look on his face was one no one in the Oda forces had ever seen, it was like spotting a white peacock amongst a vibrant forest. The group moved away from the door to give the couple their privacy, waiting til they were sat amongst the picnic set up to discuss what they witnessed. "Told ya he was mad for her Hideyoshi; I've seen this man lose control because her life was in danger. Nothing stirs that beast, the way she does." Masamune chuckled as he sipped on some tea the servants brought out, Nobunaga could only chuckle as he had heard Hideyoshi complain many times about various aspects of the silver fox. "It is comforting, don't get me wrong I know Mitsuhide loves (Y/n) but her devotion is absolute. So, it's nice to see the love she has for him mirrored." Hideyoshi chuckled with a relieved smile, the group watching as a white fox slipped into the garden and made its way up onto the porch. It stopped near the crack in the door, giving some soft chirps before it squeezed its way through. They of course knew Mitsuhide had Chiamaki, she would often lounge about the garden when they'd come by to deliver messages and the like. It was only a few more minutes before the couple came out, (Y/n) carrying Chiamaki carefully in her arms. They like the others were in their regular wear, comfortable and ready to enjoy some food and each other's company. "Good morning, everyone, I hope we didn't keep you waiting." Mitsuhide had stepped off the porch first, careful when helping her down, keeping a hand on her lower back as he led her to an open spot between Ranmaru and Masamune. "We haven't been here long so no worries, so what do you think of the new garden Lady (Y/n)?" Ranmaru smiled to his dear friend, watching her giggle as she sat Chiamaki between herself and Mitsuhide, the latter of which giving the little fox some head scratches. "I love it, I really wasn't expecting to come back from the hot spring vacation to find a whole new garden." Though she was still waking up, her happy energy had everyone laughing. They were surprised at first too, but after today they likely could never be surprised by his love for her again.
Tumblr media
Ieyasu:
(Y/n) smiled as she and Ieyasu approached the closed doors of the main hall, a war council had been called while they were in town. Something they had been alerted about upon arriving back to the castle, before going inside the young woman tugged his hand to stop her blonde lover so he hadn't touched the door yet. Of course he stopped, turning to look at her as he quirked an eyebrow silently. With a grin the young woman glanced around before holding up a finger she beckoned him to lean down. It was out of sheer curiosity that the blonde did so, too distracted by his lover's antics to realize they were being watched through a crack in the door. He had leaned down to about her height when soft hands suddenly cupped his cheeks, pulling him further down as her warm lips pressed gently to his forehead. His face bursts a bright cherry red, staring at her with wide astonished eyes before they narrowed affectionately, and a soft smile stretched on his face. He chuckled a bit, pressing his forehead to hers, his lips opening to give her a playful scolding. At least until the doors to their left slammed open, the two were quick to jolt away from each other to try and pretend as if they weren't just flirting in the hallways. But the smirks on Mitsuhide and Masamune's faces told them that they had been caught, with NO room for excuses.
"So lad, when were you gonna tell us you had went and got all grown up on us?" Masamune chuckled, looking between the two startled lovers. Both of which wearing cherry red faces, looking guilty beyond all belief as the other warlords looked on at them with soft knowing grins. "I'm so glad to see you're having a good day Lord Ieyasu, you must have really enjoyed shopping with Lady (Y/n) today." Mitsunari spoke up, his angelic smile as innocent as always. (Y/n) almost wanted to laugh, but Ieyasu's eyeroll showed he was less than amused. "Yeah, I was having a good day there for a while." His eye twitched as Mitsuhide began chuckling, no doubt he wouldn't be letting the younger blonde live this down for a while. "Ieyasu, if you'd like a moment to come to terms with your need to part with (Y/n) for the duration of this war council you could always ask." Nobunaga called from his dais, watching the group with a wide grin. To (Y/n) he looked like a proud father, but to Ieyasu he looked ready to tease the hell out of the blonde at the next banquet. Likely later that night since Keiji came back from one of his most recent missions, hence why the war council was taking place. "Can we not do this right now, let's just get this council over with and hear what loudmouth has to say." Ieyasu glanced between Masamune and Mitsuhide, even if they had gone rather easy on him today, he was still done with it. "Come now, no need to be embarrassed. There's no shame in loving your woman." Mitsuhide spoke up, the other warlords returning to their seats as the couple passed the fox man on their way inside. "I'm starting to think you just want to fight." Ieyasu glared at Mitsuhide as the silver haired man made his way to the spot on Nobunaga's direct left. But before he could respond to his younger, Hideyoshi had spoken up. "Alright, knock it off Mitsuhide. We have some important information to discuss, so save it for the banquet." Hideyoshi couldn't help the way the corners of his mouth twitched up, making the blonde groan in irritation. But that had successfully brought the teasing to an end, after a good laugh the war council had started. But the twitch in Ieyasu's eyebrow had (Y/n) smiling to herself in thought over how easy it was to read him. Already knowing he was preparing for the torrent that would surely come his way at tonight's banquet, she'd have to make sure to enjoy some drinks with the show.
Tumblr media
Motonari:
(Y/n) smiled in her spot next to Motonari, they had went to visit the Oda and were lucky enough to be there at the same time as Ieyasu and Masamune. Nobunaga had hosted a banquet so everyone could catch up. (Y/n) had made Motonari's food herself, knowing he wouldn't eat anyone else's coocking. When Masamune first noticed and questoned, the pirate claimed that her cooking was the best and he wouldn't have anything less. Something that had made her heart soar and caused the men in the room to chuckle at his flagrant affections. She had been pouring him drinks through the night, the sake had been sweeter than normal, and it made it easier for her to match him drink for drink without even noticing. Because of that she hadn't a clue as to when her cheeks had flushed, or her mind began to swim. She tilted her head some, smiling as she listened to her lover and Nobunaga discuss trade and foreign countries. Ever since they had begun this alliance the two had actually started to get along more and more with each meeting and drink. It made her happy, knowing the man she loved was getting along so well with her found family. Quietly moving forward, Motonari hadn't noticed her until she had curled her arm around his and pressed a bit closer. He did his best not to blush, glancing at her curiously as she leaned her head on his shoulder. But still he carried his conversation, ignoring the glances he got from the other warlords as they took notice to the affection. When Hideyoshi came to speak with Nobunaga the pirate turned to looked at her once more, his lips quirking up. "Someone's being bold, getting handsy in front of your friends?" He raised an eyebrow, watching her glassy eyes drift over as a sweet and lazy smile spread across her cute puffy face. "I can't help it, you're so smart it's cute." She giggled, a soft slur to her words though it was still easy to make out.
Motonari's face went blank with surprise, sure they had drunk their fill before but in those times her affection had been shyer and sweeter. But it seemed the energy of the party brought out her bolder side, as she didn't seem to care that her friends could see. "I am not cute, you're just drunk." He frowned, though it looked more like a pout, reaching up a gloved hand to playfully pinch her cheek. "Deny it all you want, but you won't fool me.~" She winked at him, her warm hand coming up to grasp his before she placed a kiss to his palm, batting her lashes at him as she gazed up into his eyes. A light pink came to the top of her cheeks, the dreamy look on her face making his chest feel flushed and heavy. "You need to drink something, here." He spoked quickly, murmuring as he reached for a glass and filled it with water. He was gentle in placing the cup in her hands, crimson eyes locked on her form as he made sure she didn't drop the glass. Despite his flustered state, he didn't try to move away from her. In fact, after she sat her cup down his arm had curled around her waist and pulled her further into his side. "You're not gonna be able to tell how cold you are when you're drunk like this, so stay close that way I can keep you warm." He looked off the side, swallowing down his glass of sake as he glared at Mitsuhide who watched the two with a teasing smirk. As if to spite him and prove he wasn't flustered he pulled her in his lap, staring Mitsuhide in the eye with a challenging smirk as she giggled at his sudden affection and leaned her head back on his shoulder. "See, told you. Cute." Motonari looked over at her, raising an eyebrow as he nipped at her ear. A giggling yelp escaped her as she leaned forward, her hands coming up to cover her ears as he held her tight around the waist. "I don't wanna hear it from you brat, now pick something to eat. With all the drinking you've been doing we need to get some more food in your stomach." He smirked at her, enjoying his playful revenge. He knew they were being watched, but at this point he couldn't bring himself to give a damn. If anything, he was establishing dominance, proving she was his and he'd be damned if anyone thought that would change.
Tumblr media
Kanetsugu:
Today was delivery day for (Y/n) and so she had been out in town, running about the area to drop off her commissions. Some of the orders had consisted of multiple kimonos, because of this one of her seamstress friends had decided to help her. Meanwhile Kanetsugu had a half day when it came to work, he was meant to be in a nearby town doing a quick check of its status, but it had gone so smoothly that he had gotten back before noon. Deciding to take advantage of the good weather he had gone out into the castle garden to read a book, resting against a cherry blossom tree that sat beside a small koi pond. He didn't know where all his lover would have to go, since he had left before she officially got up for the day. So, he decided to wait for her return, already knowing she'd be tuckered out as she was with every delivery day. It was about an hour after lunch that (Y/n) returned to the castle, she had been on her way back to their shared room when she spotted her silver haired lover in the garden. With a tired smile she made her approach, something he noticed immediately as he seemed to look before her feet had even touched the ground. "That's the poetry book you got in town the other day, isn't it? How is it?" She approached him, watching him with a soft smile as he observed her. "Pretty good, it's mostly new poets so it's been rather interesting." Kanetsugu watched her approach, pulling her into his lap once she was close enough and chuckling to himself at the surprise yelp that escaped her. Though she quickly melted into him, folding her legs against his as she leaned into his chest. "Your feet must be hurting, I heard from Sasuke you had so many orders you needed help carrying them." He spoke softly, gentle hands removing her sandals and resting them nearby as he lightly massaged her feet as best he could to relieve some of the tension, the pleased hum that left her reassuring him he was helping. "Yeah, this month was busy. I had a lot of requests for a wardrobe worth of kimono, but now that I've finished that batch of requests, I can take a break. Technically an order from Kenshin, but I was gonna take one anyways. The weather has been so nice I've been wanting to nap around a bit." She closed her eyes, basking in the warmth of his embrace as he readjusted them, so he was leaning further back against the tree. "Yeah? Then go ahead and take a nap. I'll wake you when it's dinner time." He rubbed soothing circles on her back, watching her sew for hours sometimes made his own back ache. He knew how much she valued her work.
"Alright, that sounds nice….*Yawn* After dinner we should have a drink and star gaze, the sky has looked so pretty these last few nights." She snuggled closer to him, her kimono almost like a blanket as he kept her held close to him. His book resting beside her shoes, long forgotten in the warm air of the quiet day. It was only a few hours later that Sasuke came looking for them, stopping short when he noticed the two sleeping against the tree. The ninja watched his friends sleeping soundly, considering turning around and leaving. But before he could Kanetsugu had begun to stir, amethyst eyes glancing around blearily. Only to stop on Sasuke and widen, his pale cheeks flushing pink when he realized they had been caught in the garden. Sasuke's hands came up, a quick motion to signal peace. "I won't tell anyone, I promise." He spoke quickly, not wanting to irritate the so called "man of the house" any further than he already had. Kanetsugu gently cradled the back of his lover's head, slowly sitting up to not disturb her sleep. "What did you need Sasuke?" He spoke flatly, trying to force down his embarrassment while looking around to figure out the time. "It's almost time for dinner, everyone is already gathered. Lord Kenshin sent me to get you, since you weren't there first like you usually are." He looked off to the side, not wanting to further embarrass the male by staring at just how carefully he was holding Sasuke's sleeping friend. Honestly Sasuke was happy for both of them, there was never any doubt that Kanetsugu would take care of his dear friend. But moments like this had him cheering them on louder, he'd fight someone for trying to break up his OTP if he had to. Something he and Hime would joke up when it was just them talking in the corner of a banquet, they'd often share drinks as Hime fawned over Kanetsugu and the things he had done recently to make her smile. Of course if the wisteria scented male knew of these conversations, he'd probably never trust them alone again. "Alright, let Lord Kenshin know we're on our way." Kanetsugu sighed out, waving the other male off so he could rouse his lover for her well earned meal.

SLBP: Lords' ideal types
Introduction: In Otome, we can obviously dive into the life of a specific MC and while she often differs slightly depending on which love interest we're following, she remains the same character with the same background and overall personality. Most developers make an effort to make her as neutral as possible as to enable self-insertion for the largest group of readers, but needlessly to say, that's an aim that can hardly be attained.
In SLBP, we have cook MC with the "wilder" alternation of ninja MC in the Song of Shadow version. As the Otome universe predicts, each and every character will fall for her: It doesn't matter, if the love interest is bloodthirsty, stoic, funny, naive; she's got them all wrapped around her finger.
Doubtlessly, however, those characters, too, would in fact differ in what they find attractive and seek for in a partner.
________________
Nobunaga:
A well-informed person. Nobunaga's ideal type is someone who has a general overview on a variety of topics and basically knows what's going on in the world. He doesn't even mind if they have sly tendencies. To him, it's important that he can rely on them during tougher times in his life instead of being a cute extra on the side.
Mitsuhide:
Someone who is similar to himself. People can rarely relate to Mitsuhide's choices, interests or hobbies. Due to his exemplary attitude and embrace of virtues, he even took on the image of being a boring person. Someone who relates to him in regard to not only hobbies, but also moral standards would attract him the most.
Yukimura:
A carefree but caring soul. It is most likely that Yukimura falls for a person whom he can share inconsequential moments with, much fun, much love, little drama. This is not to say that there will be no drama in Yukimura's relationships, but it is the softness within a person that makes him potentially fall in love with them.
Saizo:
A light-hearted person. This man doesn't know how healthy human relationships work, so he seeks whatever is easiest for him to deal with. If he can have fun at their expense, that's definitely a plus point. Regardless of if it's actually good for him or not, he's not a fan of being challenged or forced to face certain issues. Saizo prefers a partner who offers him stability in a life of turmoil over someone who acts as a pit stop for further development.
Masamune:
Attentive, patient and serene. Earning Masamune's trust is comparable to approaching a cat - charging right in doesn't work. Rather, it's a better idea to wait, retreat when necessary and retry. Someone who can properly interpret his reactions and doesn't give up on him while still offering him his space would definitely be rewarded with endless loyalty.
Kojuro:
Combining ostensible oppositions. There is little more attractive to Kojuro than someone whose personality is solidified enough for them to determine appropriately when to be mature or silly, when to be compassionate or strict, etc. Ideally, they are dominant, headstrong without neglecting being a teamplayer, when the time calls for it.
Shingen:
A free spirit. Someone who does whatever they want, says whatever they want whenever they want not only attracts Shingen's attention, but also gets him going. He likes people that don't care for others' opinions or restrictions of other kinds, but this doesn't mean that this type of personality wouldn't clash with Shingen in a committed relationship, as he can be very possessive.
Kenshin:
Someone who is appreciative and perhaps a bit unconventional. Kenshin chooses to see beauty in everything and feels attracted to people who manage to do the same. He prefers optimistic and bubbly personalities that have a positive profundity. Besides, he's quirky and enjoys little peculiarities in people who surround him.
Hideyoshi:
Nurturing and compassionate at heart. It's not the behavior or attitude that matters to him, but the motivation underlying the respective actions. Hideyoshi would see a potential partner in someone, if they care for people, regardless of how they show it. Their values have to, however, be genuine instead of being based on ulterior motives and Hideyoshi will see through them.
Toshiie:
The sultry kind. Toshiie feels attracted to whatever is considered conventionally "sexy". His ideal type is someone who is sure of themselves and knows exactly what they want. In that case, they can also afford to be a bit more on the dominant or even arrogant side. However, Toshiie doesn't negotiate when it comes to mentalities that stray too much from his own.
___
Reminder: "Ideal Type" does not equal what type is actually good for someone, nor does it exclude other types from being someone's potential soul mate. I can totally see Toshiie ending up falling head over heals for a "tomboy" or "wallflower" or Saizo's ideal type impeding his character development etc. etc.

Hi! I don’t know if you are taking requests, and I am sorry in advance if you aren’t. But in case you are… how would the warlords react to a femme fatale MC? Like the ones you would see in one of those spy movies?
Hi Selena!  So sorry it took so long to get to this! Thank you for the ask! Femme fatales often have nefarious motives, so the question is, is the femme fatale there to spy on or maybe assassinate the LI, or is she willing to work with him…?
Sooooo…. We’re going to start with the moment MC…
… slides open the door to the room and poses, waiting for him to notice her. To see the dark red painted lips, the black kimono (with just a hint of depth to it created by artful embroidery) just hanging at the edge of her shoulders. If she takes a deep breath, the silky garment might just slither off her entirely. When he finally looks up, and sees her hovering there, his eyes wide, pupils darken, as she glides seductively to his desk, and…
Nobunaga – When he asks her if she wants to rule the world by his side, she replies, “That was my question for you.” He determines to conquer her through a game of Go. They… are still playing.
Masamune – Really isn’t sure what to do with her. She’s beautiful, and of course he flirts, but when she mentions she could use a new coat, and eyes Shogetsu meaningfully, he throws her out.
Hideyoshi –  “I don’t trust you.” She shrugs, borrows his pipe, and lights it, as she wordlessly blows a smoke ring in his face. “I’ll be watching you closely,” he says.
She smiles. “I hope so.” She sits on the desk and scoots closer to him. “This close? Take a look. Take a very good look.”
Mitsuhide – When he sees her, he laughs. “Nice try. But a snake cannot outsmart a kitsune.”
Ieyasu –  As soon as she walks through the door, he runs and locks himself in his panic room with his emotional support sourdough starter.
Mitsunari – He’s reading. She’s still posing in the doorway. She places on sexy foot on top of his papers. Without a pause, he reads around her foot. She gives up in disgust.
Keiji – He can’t figure out why she’s picked him.  Nega-Keiji mode activates and he is instantly suspicious. She caresses his biceps as a response, but he just picks her up and tosses her out.
Ranmaru – He offers to share his peach. She takes him up on the offer. They are not seen for weeks.
Kennyo – She’s trying to seduce him, but he keeps putting her on pause to rescue injured wildlife.
Motonari – He doesn’t like to be touched, doesn’t drink, and won’t eat any cooking but his own. But once he realizes she could be a partner in crime, they go on a Bonnie & Clyde style spree across Japan. Watch the world burn, baby, burn.
Kicho – Who do you think sent her to Azuchi in the first place?
Kenshin – Hey, as long as she can keep him stocked with sake and pickled plums… wait… why is she eyeing his bunnies and talking about their soft, pretty, warm fur?
Kanetsugu –  Looks up. Sees her. “Nope.” Slides the door shut in her face.
Shingen – Knows exactly what she is, what she wants, and why she is there before she is halfway across the room. Of the course of one long, passionate night, he convinces her to work for him.
Yoshimoto – She glides into the room… realizes he’s prettier than she is. Glides out.
Yukimura – Doesn’t matter. If female, then wild boar.
Sasuke – Tells her that he once wrote a paper on the role of the femme fatale in post-world war II noir cinema. MC: “So I won’t be able to seduce you?”
He thinks a moment. “I didn’t say that.”

Babysitting Warlords and the Littlest Princess (Part 5)
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
From a collection event where Mai gets turned into a child.
---
Mitsuhide's smirk deepened as Mai continued to sit in silence.
Mitsuhide: Mai, can you hear me?
Mai: ...
Mitsuhide: Oh my, no answer. It looks like the little crybaby mouse cried too much and now she can't talk.
Mai: !? Mai: I'm not a crybaby!
Mai rubbed her eyes hurriedly.
Mitsuhide: And this mouse has sat down for so long that her legs have fallen off and she can't stand up anymore. Such a shame.
Mai: They didn't fall off!!
Rising to Mitsuhide's bait, Mai wobbled to her feet defiantly.
Sasuke: Making fun of someone so much that they go along with exactly what you want... Truly something only Mitsuhide would be capable of.
Ranmaru: There are better ways to go about it! Ranmaru: I'm sorry, Mai. Did you get lost in the castle? It must have been scary. Ranmaru: How about we play together? I want to be friends with you.
Mai: Really?
Ranmaru: Of course!
At Ranmaru's confirmation, Mai's eyes brightened. And it was at that moment that...
Nobunaga: There you are.
Nobunaga, along with Hideyoshi and Yoshimoto, had caught up.
Yoshimoto: Mai, about just now... Yoshimoto: You didn't want all the konpeito for yourself, did you? You wanted more so you could share with everyone, am I right?
Mai: ...
Looking at the jar of konpeito that Yoshimoto was now holding out to her, Mai nodded shyly.
Hideyoshi: I'm sorry, I didn't realize.
Nobunaga: It shall be as you wish, then. Everyone will have konpeito.
Mai: ...Yeah! Everyone should get to eat yummy things!
Seeing Mai's bright grin, everyone else also began to smile.
...
After all the warlords had regrouped and konpeito was passed around to everyone...
Mai: Let's play Red Light, Green Light!
Ranmaru: What's that?
Kanetsugu: Is that code for something?
Sasuke: No, it's a game from our hometown. One person is it, and they stand somehere far away from the others with their back turned...
...
Mitsuhide: An interesting game.
Mai: I want to be it!
Mai excitedly ran over to stand next to a tree.
Sasuke: She has knowledge of the moder-- our hometown, despite being this young. That is most definitely Mai.
Ranmaru: Huh, did you still doubt it?
Sasuke: Not quite. But there was no definite proof, so...
Mai: Come ooooon!! Let's play!
At Mai's urging, the warlords gathered in the garden. Until Mai turned back to normal the next day, they all took turns to look after Mai. But that's a story for another day...

Hi! I have an idea for Ikemen Sengoku: Making a Gingerbread House with MC! It can be all 17 suitors (if that's okay with you!) getting together and making a gingerbread house (Ieyasu being like "you want us to make a house made out of ginger-flavored bread? 🤣) and eating it by the end?
Happy Holidays!
🎄
Happy Holidays!
I sat on this request for nearly a year, just so I could post at the holiday xD  It’s rather long, but you DID ask for allllll 17 warlords!
Mai sat on a stool in the vast kitchen, staring at the tiled counters and wooden tables. When she’d proposed a gingerbread contest, she did not expect all the warlords to jump on the idea so agreeably. But they did. Maybe it was the idea that it was a contest . . .
Nobunaga
He frowned fiercely at the leaning tower of crisp gingerbread. “This is not sufficient. The frothing will not hold and I have yet to add the tenshu.”
Mai giggled. “You can’t be serious. It’s already taller than anyone else’s gingerbread house. And it’s frosting. Not frothing.”
Nobunaga’s eyes sparked dangerously. “I cannot win if my castle lacks a tenshu.”
“That might be true . . .” Mai teased.
The cookie tower looked as if it might fall over any moment. Nobunaga began to systematically add supports, determined to win at all costs. “I will make it work,” he growled.
Hideyoshi
His cookie table was an array of smaller gingerbread buildings. He bent over each, adding little details that identified them as shops, houses, and guard towers.
“That’s really nice, Hideyoshi. But you do know, you only needed to make one house, right?” Mai peered over his shoulder.
“Of course, but Lord Oda’s castle must have a town.” He grinned. “You see? Here is the first shop I took you to, and there is a tea house where we shared a drink together. And there is the gate you met me at when I came back from a battle.”
Mai’s cheeks flushed. “All these places are places we were at together?”
“Yes.”
“That is so sweet!”
Hideyoshi gave a roguish grin. “Sweet enough to win?”
“Maybe,” Mai laughed.
Mitsuhide
Mai found Mitsuhide’s gingerbread house finished. It was a lovely little two story with delicate frosting decorations. Tiny gumdrop people stood outside, and after a moment, she realized there was one for each of the Azuchi warlords, even one that was clearly Mitsuhide. But there was no sign of the man himself.
She went looking for him, but he wasn’t any place she expected to find him. Frustrated, she headed out to the yard to see if he’d left early. When she did, she spotted him slipping into the ingredient storeroom.
“There you are!”
Mitsuhide dropped the gingerbread ingredients he was holding. “Hello there, little mouse.”
Mai raised an eyebrow. “Whatcha doing? Nothing nefarious I hope?”
“Me? Never.” He winked. “Did you follow me here for a little . . . private time? Does it count as cheating if I make love to the judge?”
“No. And yes.” She put a fist to her hip. “You should probably get back before someone realizes your gingerbread house is undefended.”
He left with another salacious look. She made a note to herself to make sure no one used the ingredients he’d touched. You could never be too careful.
Kyubei
Kyubei sat in front of a pile of gingerbread pieces, looking confused.
“Can’t decide what to make,” Mai asked.
“I’m not a warlord, so I’m not sure why I’m being included in this contest. Things would not go well for me if I won . . .” Kyubei sighed.
“That’s ok. I understand. If you don’t want a shot at the grand prize -”
Kyubei’s eyes widened. “What is the prize? I didn’t know there was a prize!”
“Well . . . it’s nothing much. A day out with me. Silly, right?” She wrinkled her nose.
“Y-yeah. Ummm . . . I just uh, remembered what I wanted to build, sooooo . . .” He leaned forward and began to arrange his cookies.
Mai shrugged. “Ok. I guess I’ll leave you to it then? Good luck!”
Kyubei was too focused to reply.
Masamune
“Masamune,” Mai said his name with a questioning tone. “That doesn’t look like a house.”
The one-eyed dragon had crumbled his cookies in rows, and used the frosting to construct a series of tubes, ramps, and basins. He was eyeballing what looked like a turning gear made from gingerbread when Mai walked up, but set it down to grin at her. “It’s not! I was just thinking I can use this ginger-bread to model an irrigation system I’ve been working on.”
“Umm. Alright. That’s pretty neat, actually.” Mai leaned close to look at the work he’d done so far. “How’s it going then?”
“Better than expected. Although I had to reinforce the joins here -” he pointed, “and here. I think this cookie has structural integrity issues.”
Mai nodded. “Well, it is just a cookie.” She sighed. “I hope you’re not planning on running actual water through it?”
“How else would I test it, kitten?” He ruffled her hair.
Ieyasu
Ieyasu frowned fiercely at the stacked gingerbread cookies on his table. “This is stupid.” His jade glare was in full force as Mai stopped by to see how he was doing.
“Well, you don’t have to make one if you don’t want to.” She smiled at him and added, “though I’d really love to see what you come up with.”
His cheeks heated and he glanced away. “I hope you aren’t smiling like that at everyone.”
“Like what?”
Ieyasu gave a disgusted sigh. “I better win this thing, is all I’m saying.”
Mai laughed. “Then you should get to building. Mitsuhide’s already finished and Nobunaga has a tower twice as tall as anyone else’s gingerbread house.”
“Pfft. Don’t try to make me jealous.” He gave her an unreadable side-eyed look.
“I’m just telling you there’s some serious competition. But I know you can do it.”
“Ugh. And now you’re trying to cheer me up,” he tried to frown but the corners of his lips kept curling up in a little smile.
Mitsunari
Mai paused a few steps away from Mitsunari. He had several blue prints around his work station, and his cookies were all organized by thickness, size, and coloration. He was focused intently on sticking two of the pieces together when she finally approached him.
“Mitsunari? How’s it going?”
He didn’t look up or acknowledge her presence.
Mai waved a hand in front of his face, but Mitsunari didn’t seem to notice that either. “Hey, can you hear me? Mitsunari? Hello?”
He continued to work with single-minded intensity.
“Alright. I guess you’re in the zone, huh?” She eyed the house he was building. It reminded her of something. “Is this . . . Oshi castle?”
Mitsunari still didn’t reply and after a few moments of silence, Mai shrugged and moved on. She supposed he would tell her soon enough, once he got back from Planet Mitsunari.
Keiji
Keiji sat with his arms crossed, glaring at a haphazard lean-to of burnt cookie. The edges were crumbling away, even with the frosting to hold them steady.
“Oh no! What happened?”
He glanced up at her sharply. “I’ll tell you what happened. These hands were not made to bake! What kind of weird idea is this, anyway?”
“Awww. You’re so adorable when you pout.” Mai reached out and wiped a bit of frosting off his cheek, making sure to brush her fingers along the sensitive spot at his jaw line.
Keiji snatched her hand. “That’s cheating, princess.”
“Maybe, but I bet you feel more motivated now, hm?”
He laughed, his foul mood vanishing as if it had never been. “Maybe.”
“Then get in there and do your best! I’m rooting for you.” Mai grinned and pulled her hand back just before Keiji managed to lick the frosting off her fingertip.
Ranmaru
“Oh, wow! Ranmaru . . .” Mai’s eyes widened when she got close enough to see Ranmaru’s gingerbread house. It was the most adorable little temple ever made of cookie. It sat atop a little cookie mountain, dusted with sugar-snow. Candied animals gathered around it, big eyed, adorable creatures with happy little smiles. A gingerbread monk stood in the doorway, his robes made of pretty purple frosting, and despite a jagged crack in his cookie face, he also sported a wide grin.
“Do you like it?” Ranmaru tucked a bit of hair behind his ear, anxious and eager for praise.
“It’s amazing! Everything is so cute!”
He smiled happily. “Good! Even if I don’t win, I’m just glad my little cookie house made you smile.”
Mai’s heart turned to mush at his sweetness. “You are too much,” she sighed.
“Are you sure I’m not just enough for you?” He gave her an unexpectedly saucy wink.
“I don’t know. If you get any sweeter, you’ll give me a toothache.” Mai laughed.
“Then I’d get to nurse you until you were better.” Ranmaru’s expression was suddenly thoughtful and calculating. Then he giggled, his usual cute grin firmly back in place. “Only kidding! I’d never want that to happen to you!”
Kenshin
Mai cleared her throat to announce her approach as she neared Kenshin’s work table. It was never wise to surprise the God of War.
“There you are,” he said, without turning to look at her. “I was wondering when you’d come by.”
She smiled. He always pretended to be so chilly, but she knew better. “So what are you making? It looks like a - a -” Mai leaned closer, examining the little cookie house. “It’s a rabbit hutch! And those are bunnies!”
Kenshin gave her a thin half-smile. “You are correct. This is Take, and there is Matsu, and over here being naughty is Ume. She is eating radish in the garden.”
“Oh?” Mai looked even closer. He’d crafted a tiny daikon out of cookie crumbs and frosting, which Ume had half in her little bunny mouth. “Wow. You’re really good at this!”
“You sound surprised.” Kenshin raised an eyebrow.
“Well . . . you know . . . the whole god of war reputation and all . . .” She stuttered, feeling suddenly called out.
Kenshin grabbed her by the waist, almost pulling her into his lap. “When I have won this contest, I will take you to Kasugayama, and I will show you more of the God of War.”
Mai swallowed, her heart beating quite fast. “Um. I . . . yes. That would be great. Now if you could just let go?”
Kanetsugu
Kanetsugu wasn’t at his station when Mai stopped by to check on him, but he was easy to find. Pacing quietly at the edges of the room, making notes on each of the other warlords’ gingerbread houses.
“Ummm, Kanetsugu, what are you doing?” She caught up to him to ask her question.
“It should be obvious, fool.” When Mai still looked confused, he sighed. “I’m evaluating the competition, noting flaws and strengths.”
“Oh! That makes sense.” Mai grinned. “So you can learn from the mistakes others make.”
Kanetsugu’s quick-silver smile flickered across his lips. “I see you can think when you try.”  He tucked the notepad away and crossed his arms. “My gingerbread castle will be the best. I cannot lose.”
Mai raised an eyebrow. “You really want to win the prize, hm? But you know it’s just -”
“It is not about prizes. I cannot fail my lord.” His haughty stare had an unexpected heat to it, and just the tip of a toothy fang showed in his sharp smile. “Though the prize is not without merit.”
She felt a blush rise up her cheeks. Somehow, Kanetsugu always ended up leaving her feeling completely turned around and a bit undone.
Shingen
Mai sidled up to Shingen to get a look at his gingerbread house. It was a respectable looking cookie construction. Two stories, with gumdrop flowers on the walls and sugar-pane glass in the windows. “It’s looking really good, Shingen!”
“Is it?” He gave a mournful sigh.
She turned from the gingerbread toward him, worried. “Is something wrong?”
Shingen’s eyes were wide and damp as if he might cry. “I cannot help but feel this cookie house is missing some vital piece. And without it . . .” He sighed again, and looked away.
Mai frowned. “Missing something? Is there an ingredient I can get you? It looks like you used the gummies and frosting and red-hots. You even made sugar-glass for it. I don’t know what else you need.”
He reached out and took her hand. “It’s missing . . . an angel. But alas, the only angel I know cannot be held by mere baked cookies.” Shingen raised her hand to his lips, and before Mai could react, placed a tender kiss to her wrist, where her pulse was now pounding rapidly.
“Erm, I think kissing the - the judge might count as cheating, you know?”
“Then I will submit to your divine punishment, oh goddess. Shower me with your . . . wrath.” A wicked little light shone in the depths of his grey eyes and a tiny smile curled on his lips.
Yukimura
Mai walked over to Yuki’s table, but he saw her coming and quickly covered his gingerbread house with a large sheet of paper. “Uh, hello Yukimura.”
“Go away, boar woman. I’m busy.” He frowned at her. “I don’t know why you’re walking around bothering everyone.”
“Well, I am the contest judge. And I wanted to see how you all were doing. So . . . how is it going for you?” Mai tilted her head, trying to see under the edge of the paper, but Yuki blocked her view.
“Fine.” He continued to block her view using his hands and body. “You can go now, before you trample my cookies.”
Mai poked him in the chest with her finger. “You are so rude. You know I’m going to get to see it at the end anyway, right?”
Yukimura shrugged. “Yeah, sure. But that’s at the end. It’s not done yet.”
“Oh. Well I guess that makes sense. Guess I’ll just leave you to it, then.” Mai nodded and pretended to move away as if she was done checking on him.
Once she’d turned to walk on, Yuki shifted the paper away and bent back to his task.
Mai spun around too quickly for him to cover it again before she could see. Her lips parted with a surprised breath. The gingerbread house was small and cute, with little heart shaped windows and tiny sugar flowers. Two gingerbread people stood in front of it, hands clasped. One of them had unruly brown hair and big nut-brown eyes with a red and black kimono. And the other looked a lot like her.
Yukimura looked at her, horrified. His cheeks were red and his eyes were wide. “No! Don’t look! You didn’t see, right?” He jerked the paper back over it.
“Umm. No. Nope. I didn’t see a thing. I’ll just, uh, see you. Later.”
“Y-yeah.” Yuki breathed a sigh of relief.
Sasuke
“Thank you for sponsoring this contest, Mai.” Sasuke glanced up as she approached.
She smiled. “Well, I didn’t want it to be a contest. Just a chance to make something nice together, but you know how warlords are.”
“I do.” He pushed his glasses back up his nose. “I too, am feeling the competitive spirit. I believe I have a fighting chance. My prior exposure to gingerbread cookie houses and my mathematical acuity give me a 64.325 percent chance of victory.”
Mai’s eyebrow rose. “Your . . . math?”
Sasuke nodded. “Indeed. I was able to calculate the precise geometry of each piece of my gingerbread house, even accounting for shrinkage and spread while baking. Additionally, I made use of fractal formulae to create an endless variety of snowflake designs.”
His gingerbread house stood in a swirl of tiny sugar-crystal snowflakes, held by almost invisible threads of spun sugar. And the cookie itself held delicate little patterns made in frosting.
“It’s really lovely,” Mai said, leaning closer to look at the designs.
Sasuke gave her a conspiratorial bli-wink. “I hope you’ll still think so when it comes time to judge. I am very interested in the grand prize.”
Yoshimoto
Mai had high expectations for Yoshimoto’s gingerbread house, so she was a little surprised when she stopped by his table. The gingerbread house was simple, though elegant. The cookies looked thin, crisp, and very delicate.
“Mai! Are you previewing the art you will be judging today?” He smiled at her warmly.
“I am. I wanted to see how everyone was doing and if anything else was needed.” She gestured to his cookies. “Are you missing anything for yours? I thought you might need extra decorations.”
Yoshimoto gave a slight shrug. “I think this is sufficient. I can’t think of any item I am missing.”
She nodded and began to step away, but stopped. “Are you sure? Because . . . it looks pretty plain. I thought you would, you know -” Mai made an expansive gesture with her hands.
He chuckled. “Ah, I see. No. I considered visual spectacle as a possibility, but this is cooking. The art of it is flavor, and the purpose is to best display the essence of a ginger - bread. So that is what I have endeavored to do.”
“Oh!” She grinned. “I should have known there was method to your madness.”
“Hopefully I have captured the flavors well enough that I will capture you as well.” Yoshimoto’s smile was teasing.
Motonari
Predictably, Motonari was crafting a gingerbread boat. Though it seemed to Mai that the boat was more a platform for cookie cannons. They lined the sides of the boat in frighteningly accurate detail.
Motonari grinned widely as she approached. “I thought yer contest idea was more flower-headed nonsense, but turns out this is fun. I didn’t know I could bake a weapon.”
“Erm, yeah. That was . . . exactly what I had in mind too. Cookie weapons.” She sighed. “Well, at least it looks like you put a ton of effort in. The sails look really nice.” The cloth was made from thin sugar-glass, stretched on cookie poles.
“Yeah,” he shrugged. “A ship has gotta have sails. But look at this,” he shoved a little cocoa ball into one of the cannons and then lit the tiny fuse at the back of the cookie.
“Motonari, what did you just -”
The cookie burst apart, spraying them both with crumbs and chocolate.
Motonari laughed wildly. “Ahhh, this is gonna be good fun.” He reached over to run a finger along her cheek, wiping off a smudge of cocoa, then put his finger to his lips. “Mmmm, tastes like Oda princess. Sweet.”
Mai stepped back, feeling her cheeks heat. “Hey, no touching the judge! That counts as cheating, you know?”
“Heh, sure. But I’m a pirate. I don’t mind a bit of cheating so long as I win.” The twinkle in his garnet gaze was dangerous, equal parts madness and passion.
Kennyo
The demon abbott wore a scowl of concentration as Mai approached. His gingerbread house looked like a forest shrine, complete with sugar and cookie trees around it. He was painting tiny details onto the door, but stopped when he noticed her watching.
“You.” He straightened and gave her a tentative smile, unpracticed but genuine.
“I was just coming by to see how you’re doing.” Mai gestured to his cookie shrine. “It looks amazing.”
“Thank you.” He glanced at it and then back at her. “I thought this would be a purposeless exercise, but I find the crafting of this gingerbread to be meditative.”
She gave a little laugh. “I’m glad you’re enjoying it then. I wasn’t sure if you would even come - but I’m glad you did.”
Kennyo nodded. “I could not waste such an opportunity. Though Nobunaga will survive this day, I will crush him in this cookie making competition and destroy his soul. He will suffer -”
Mai patted his arm and he stopped his resonant rant with an awkward look of embarrassment. “Good luck, Kennyo,” she told him. And as she left, she could have sworn his cheeks colored a bit.
Kicho
Kicho’s gingerbread house was enormous. A veritable emperor’s palace of cookie, heavily decorated with all manner of sweets. Django stick trees beside syrup pools and fruit gelatin sculptures. Spun sugar columns and colored glass, and frosting-painted walls and murals.
He smirked as Mai gasped in surprise at the size and detail of the thing.
“This is amazing! You made all of this?”
“Unlike these fools, I have some knowledge of this . . . gingerbread.” He sneered. “They think they’ve planned a winning strategy, but only one of us can be the victor today.”
Mai giggled. “And that will be you?”
Kicho fixed her with a sharp stare. “I am certain of it. And when I am victorious, I will take my prize.” He surveyed her with a slow, evaluative look. When she shivered, he gave a humorless laugh. “You really shouldn’t put something on offer that you’re afraid to give.”
“I’m not scared of you.” Mai took a moment to compose herself, wanting to somehow wipe his smug smile away. “You do realize I’m the judge? Intimidating me is not a good idea.”
In one smooth movement, he swept her legs out from under her and caught her in his arms. “No? But you seem to enjoy it so much. Just look at you now. Your cheeks are on fire.”
Mai struggled out of his grasp and gave him a stern frown. “I should take points off for that.”
“But you won’t. It would make you feel bad.” Kicho smiled again, the expression lighting up his face. “I’ll see you later. Make sure to dress properly for the occasion.”
Epilogue
The dining hall was a warzone. Tables displayed the destroyed remains of gingerbread edifices. Crumbs and bits of dried frosting were scattered like shrapnel from tanegashima. The groans and sighs of the cookie-massacre survivors filled the air.
At the head table lay one survivor, eyes closed, hand resting on a belly too full to move. She slept fitfully, her dreams a landscape of gingerbread castles and little gumdrop warlords chasing her through them.
“Does this . . . mean . . . no one won,” Masamune gasped from his spot on the floor.
“I believe you are correct,” Sasuke sighed. “It appears the judge has been overcome.”
Keiji gave a sad chuckle. “There are some battles no one can win.”
Kennyo made a tsk of disapproval, though he too lay in a circle of gingerbread crumbs. “Excess always leads to ruin.”
“I never thought something could be too sweet,” Ranmaru whimpered.
“We appreciated the beauty and symmetry of gingerbread flavors, and now we must pay for our hedonism.” Yoshimoto gave a breathy sigh. “Still, I would do it all again.”
“You need to reconsider, cuz,” Shingen grunted.
Yukimura exhaled slowly. “My belly hurts.”
“That’s what you all get,” Ieyasu snorted from where he lay on his side.
Mitsunari, sounding chipper even now, asked, “Oh! You are so wise, Ieyasu! You must have stopped eating before we did. And now you’re just laying there to make us feel better.”
“Shut up,” Kenshin hissed.
Kanetsugu tried to sit up. “I will silence them, my lord.”
“Was this your doing, Mitsuhide,” Hideyoshi asked.
Mitsuhide shook his head, his golden eyes closed. “I spiked just one bag of ingredients with fish flakes, but the little mouse caught me.”
“I can confirm,” Kyubei added.
“Then who,” Nobunaga and Shingen asked together, then glared at each other from across the floor.
Only Kicho was still up, and he gave the fallen warlords a smug grin. “It seems I’ve won the day, and all you fools can rot. I know better than to stuff my face with gingerbread and frosting.” He took a step toward the sleeping chatelaine. “Now for my prize.”
But Kicho had forgotten one thing. His sometime ally Motonari still had his cookie cannons. The room exploded in another round of gingerbread crumbs and chaos.

Hello there. May I have an Ikesen request?
How do you think the Warlords would react to a witch MC? (I'm a big fan of The Vampire's Diaries and The Originals TV series). Thanks ☺️
Hello! A witch mc, huh? I think I never really wrote about one, thank you for the request!
Witch MC.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
Nobunaga could tell there was something different about you, a mysterious air that surrounded you. He noticed that the moment you saved him from the fire, when you rushed out of the temple with him, it was as if the fire moved out of the way.
There was also your knowledge over herbs, he even thought you might have been a healer and that you would fit in as Ieyasu’s student. He found out the truth after interrogating you personally, Nobunaga was curious after hearing about strange “medicines” that you were able to make (AKA potions).
Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
Hideyoshi, as usual, kept his eyes on you since the very beginning. He could swear he saw you make a vase levitate, hideyoshi was about to help you carry it since it looked heavy but stopped on his tracks. Of course, it was for a split second as you carried the vase yourself.
He wasn’t one to focus on believing in the supernatural, but he also didn’t disbelieve it. Hideyoshi wondered if you could pose a threat to Nobunaga, but his mind changed after you prepared a special medicine for him when he got sick from overworking himself. It worked like magic as it made his fever go away immediately. Well, whatever you were, you didn’t seem to have bad intentions.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
Mitsuhide was naturally curious about you, since you showed up out of nowhere and saved Nobunaga. But he felt intrigued the more he investigated you. Your strange behavior by talking to animals, how you would manage to make objects disappear when no one was seeing.
Different from Nobunaga, he does his interrogation in a way that puts you on a spot, as if he is just making an innocent question. You are forced to reveal your identity, which would seem absurd had mitsuhide not seen with his own eyes. Considering your abilities, he will think about dragging you to one of his missions.
Masamune date.
Masamune found out on accident, he was going to the kitchen so that he could make dinner, but noticed that it was busy. He would have approached you had he not seen the strange ingredients you were using. Upon further observation, masamune saw smoke and bubbles emerging from the pot you were using to cook, or at least he thought it was cooking. Once you were done, he became curious about what you made.
Imagine his surprise when you appeared with a special kind of medicine for the soldiers that were still heavily injured that made them recover very fast. While that will make him confront you about what exactly you were making, he will just want to know as he was grateful that you used your knowledge to help the soldiers. What you made was really a healing potion.
Mitsunari Ishida.
Mitsunari was a bit more oblivious to the signs that you were a witch, though it wasn’t because he didn’t notice. It was more because he didn’t want to sound rude by questioning you. Sometimes you would come back with quite the different herbs for the medicine you were able to make, there were times he could swear he saw objects levitating.
He could be wrong, but he thought he saw you turn a bandit that cornered you into… a frog? Nevertheless, he was aware of your powers, though he pretended to not know for your sake.
Ieyasu Tokugawa.
Ieyasu was skeptical when nobunaga said that you would be helping him with the other healers of the castle, he didn’t trust you could handle it without proper training from him. However, he changed his mind the moment he saw the results of your medicine, it helped the injured soldiers and sick vassals heal immediately. He studied medicine for a long time, so it’s natural that he was surprised by how efficient you were making herbal medicine.
It hurted his pride a little as well, since he never discovered anything like it before. But, he could put his pride aside as long as you could show him how you made your so called healing potions.
Ranmaru Mori.
Ranmaru would discover of your abilities after he caught you making a whole decorative pot that was broken disappearing before his eye. He was about to turn around the corner to greet you when he saw you using magic. He preferred to keep a low profile and hide before you could notice him.
Being a ninja, it wasn’t hard for ranmaru to sneak around without being noticed, though he believed that, despite what he saw, you couldn’t possibly be a bad person. That’s why he would act like nothing happened until you were more comfortable sharing your secret with him.
Keiji.
Keiji knows how it feels to hide a part of yourself to stay safe, though in your case it seemed like something much bigger than a part of your personality. Just like you would inevitably find out about his two faced nature, he was able to discover your powers as a witch. In a way, both had blackmail over each other, which would create a connection and a bond between you two.
Besides, it’s not like he didn’t find your powers fascinating, so he was far from scared.
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
Kenshin isn’t someone who would overreact or be surprised by supernatural things, as long as he could fight it, he was happy. Although you did manage to catch him off guard a bit. In the middle of a fight, he saw you using your magic to throw the opponent flying away from you.
To him it was unexpected, but that didn’t faze him to stop fighting. After defeating all of the enemies that caught you two off guard, he won’t waste time questioning you about how you were able to do that. And after getting his answers, he will ask (demand) that you use your powers again.
Shingen takeda.
Is this the power of an angel? Dramatic quotes aside, it won’t take long for him to discover of your abilities, there is nothing that can be hidden from this man after all. But he would keep a secret for your safety, he knew how stressful it was to keep something hidden from others.
You would feel so grateful that you would dedicate yourself to create a healing potion powerful enough to heal his sickness (it was only natural that you would be able to notice that he had an illness). Words just can’t describe how grateful he would be.
Yukimura Sanada.
Ah, he knew it! You are an evil witch who will turn him into an animal! Since the moment you two met, he was already calling you a sorceress for being able to charm people with your personality (that isn’t magic, just social skills). But to actually get a confirmation that you are a witch will make him feel very weary of you. It will take time for him to understand that you aren’t a threat.
Of course, eventually he will let himself go around you, seeing that you would turn him into a frog.
Yoshimoto Imagawa.
Yoshimoto wouldn’t pry in your affairs in any shape or form, after all he respected your privacy. So, even when he noticed some suspicious activities coming from you, he decided to give you the benefit of the doubt, not sure if he would regret it later. However, your never did anything to harm anyone in Kasugayama, he would trust you no matter how strange some of your actions were, just like he trusts sasuke (despite not having the best of relationships with him).
Even after finding out about your powers, he will treat you like a real celestial maiden (kind of like Shingen would, must be a family thing).
Kanetsugu.
Kanetsugu always kept his eyes on you from the moment you arrived at Kasugayama castle, being weary that you could be dangerous to Kenshin (though he highly doubted you could harm him). He was always stern, which made you be more careful about using your powers near him.
Though, even after he catches you using your magic, he won’t throw you in the prison cells. However, that does not mean he completely trusts you. For safety reasons, Kanetsugu will be glued to you, almost like you were his prisoner just to ensure you wouldn’t use your magic against his lord (eventually it won’t be bad at all to have him always by your side though).
Sasuke.
Sasuke would be one of the first ones to find out that you are a witch, one because he is already familiar with the concept since he is also from the modern world, and two because he could easily put two and two together to understand what you were. It all started after he goes to see you by going to your celling. He will accidentally catch you using your magic when you think that you are alone in your room.
He will apologize first of all for sneaking in like that, which will be followed by a million of questions, some of which include participating on a research of his own.
