These are my old designs cuz I haven’t finished my current ones. You’ll see them from posts during/before December 2024.
My name is Cole but you can call me Calamity or Mity! Or Mitussy if your name happens to be BunkerGhustVA. My pronouns are he/him. AEST.
Please don’t ask for identifying information. I’ve shared what I’m willing to.
If I comment on your post, that’s because I don’t reblog, because this account is just for my art.
My favourite character is Corey. Otherwise I love them all equally.
I really enjoy Jacob Richmond’s first play, Qualities Of Zero (look up Qualities of Zero Jacob Richmond) despite never seeing it. You can ask me anything about them. I’m 100% sure I’m the person who knows the most about it. I’ll post their designs… one day…

PROMISE
Chapter Four • Chapter Three Here •
Demetri Volturi x Fem!(cullen)Reader
Chapter Warnings : Google translated Italian, suggestion & mention of past abusive relationship

"Grazie signore."
Y/N stepped out of the airport with a smile on her face to one of the plane's security officers and her bag over her shoulder. She slipped €20 into his hand before making her way through the city. Her black sweatshirt and loose-fitted white jeans covered her skin from the dazzling sun, a large floppy hat rested over her hair to protect her image of reflective skin and golden eyes from the other tourists and citizens of the city.
She waved down a cab quickly, a quick muttered and wink to the driver to take her to the traditional town an hour away. The tanned man gave her a soft smile as he locked the doors and started the drive, she sat comfortably with an earphone in her left ear, the classics playing alongside the dull conversation she responded to.
"Stai visitando qualcuno ?" [are you visiting someone ?]
"Sì, un amico di famiglia. Spero di trasferirmi qui." [ yes, a family friend. I'm hoping to move here]
The man looked at her through the mirrors, kind eyes meeting her unusual ones as he gave a prideful smile at the answer.
"Dovresti, è bellissimo qui" [ you should, it's beautiful here]
"Ho sentito tutte le storie " [I've heard all the stories]
"Oh sì, i vampiri. Sono solo miti, vecchio folklore. Niente di cui preoccuparsi" [oh yes the vampires. they're are just mythical, old folklore. nothing to worry about]
Y/N gave a smile of laughter, shaking her head slightly as the man carried on his conversation in her mother tongue. It felt nice speaking it again, it had been decades since she last had a proper conversation in Italian. The Cullens, other than Carlisle, only knew bits and pieces so their conversational skills were quite broken and difficult to follow most of the time. Over the years she just found it easier to speak English 24/7. Then her New Jersey accent started to fade after a decade or two, her only link to her human life being the photo that sat in her duffle bag.
"I racconti sono comunque interessanti." [the stories are interesting anyways.]
"Ovviamente !" [of course] The man turned the corner down the empty road, dust particles visible in the air as the beige landscapes came into view - the silver exterior of the city being left for the Italian countryside. "E sei in tempo per la stagione dei festival." [and you're in time for the festival season."
"Si, me ne ero dimenticato." [yes, I had forgotten about that] A look of remembrance came to Y/N’s eyes, a soft smile playing on her lips as the man driving gave a nod and she put her other earphone in."Perfetta."
The mutter was left unheard by the man, the drive being filled with comfortable silence for the next half hour until the little green car pulled into the sand beige ancient town of Volterra.
Tanned figures strolled around the streets, hands heaving buckets of grapes and produce to different areas in preperation for Vendemmia, the upcoming festivity. It all reminded her of the past, nothing had been overly modernised yet.
"Dove vorresti- ?" [where would you like-]
Y/N cut him off with a smile, a manicured finger pointing to the large landmark ear them before she hid back under her sleeve.
"Proprio vicino alla torre dell'orologio va bene."[right next to the clock tower is fine]
He gave a smile back, quickly spinning the car to park up infront of the renaissance styled building, the doors unlocking as she pulled her bag close to her body, hand reaching for the cash in her pocket.
"Buon divertimento, signorina." [have fun, miss]
"Grazie, e tu. Tenga il resto." [thank you, and you. Keep the change]
The man held a look of shock as he was handed two €50 notes, the monitor on the car only ask for €44, but he didn't have time to say anything. When he looked back, the back passenger door was closed and the girl who had been sat there was nowhere to be seen. His dark brown eyes darted around the area, trying to catch a glimpse of the large beige hat she had wore throughout the entire car journey, but nothing came to his sight.
After a minute of so he finally drove off, back the way towards Pisa with a confused expression plastered to his features. It was when he left the town's entrance that Y/N reappeared for the wall she was stood against, a smile playing on her lips as she dusted her hands onto her jeans and made her way to the heavy door of the tower, three heavy knocks sounding against it as she waited for the latest human secretary to let her in from the uncomfortable stares of the townspeople.
Her eyes were beginning to darken, her lack of food being obvious as soon as the sweet scent of the secretary appeared through the small gap of the now open door.
"Salve? Posso aiutarti?" [Hello ? Can I help you ?]
The green eyed woman became clearer as she noticed the unfamiliar and unnaturally perfect face, knowing it was not one of the nosey townspeople who were currently staring and opening the door slightly more. She stood in a simple white blouse and a black pencil skirt, her dark brown, nearly black, hair was half pulled out of her face as she looked nervously at the golden eyed girl smiling at her.
"Sono qui per vedere Aro." [I'm here to see Aro.]
"Non ha incontri programmati per oggi." [he has no meetings scheduled for today]
As she went to push the door closed again, a strong hand came out to stop it. The sun caught Nancy's skin slightly, blinding into the woman's eyes enough for the girl to let herself into the tower. She spoke softly as she stared the woman down, chimes filling the human's ears as a blanket of calm covered her previously anxious state.
"Sono sicuro che potresti trovare qualcosa." [i'm sure you could find something.]
The human gave a blink, height on par with the foreign girl as she just gave a giggled smile and rushed over to her desk.
"Si. Per favore, accomodatevi." [yes. please, take a seat]
Y/N turned around to where the woman gestured, finding two bright and plush armchairs next to a wall. To say they looked out of place in the aged interior of the covern's home would be an understatement. She happily sat slouched in one of the chair, scrolling through her phone where a car crash of messages and missed calls from her family remained unopened. She didn't want to hear their excuses, their faux concern. The last few months had shown what they truly thought of her and she wasn't going to let her memories cloud over how they acted.
They'd put a human above her, she could never forgive that.
"Cullen ?"
A snarl came from beside her, the soft footsteps of one of the Volturi's most honered guards strolled towards her.
Y/N gave a slight smile to the crimson eyed blonde stood before her. She wasn't even 5 foot in height but a powerful and terrifying aura surrounded her petite body.
"Jane, I presume."
An unimpressed look was sent Y/N’s way as the guard swiftly turned and started trickling back down the hallways, the taller girl following behind with a few nerves.
What she was even going to do she didn't know. She came with absolutely no plans other than get away from the grasp of her adoptive family.
It seemed like she was just making it up as she went along at this point.
"The kings have just finished their rulings, you will have your time to speak with them now."
The blonde didn't look at her as she pushed the doors to what Y/N assumed was the throne room wide open, her cloak floating behind her as she strolled her way to the other side of the room.
Y/N didn't notice where the terrifying girl went, distracted by the excited voice she heard as soon as she stepped foot in the glamorously ancient room.
Her eyes danced up the ceiling, the dome of glass coated in delicate colours of art.
"Miss Cullen !"
Y/N’s eyes fell down to the man stood in the centre of the thrones, his dark hair slicked back and what could only be described as a psychotic grin on his face. His illuminated red eyes stared at her as he held out a pale hand for her to take.
"So wonderful to finally meet you ! What can we do for you my dear ?"
Y/N slowly made her way forwards, guards closing the doors behind her as she reached Aro.
She'd heard off Carlisle about his gift - the ability to see everything a persons been through and thought of with just the touch of their hand.
"I've recently come to the understanding that my family and I do not share the same ideologies."
Looks of shock and interest darted around the room at the admittance, Aro simply waving the girl forwards to take a hold on her hand.
As she did, the large diamond ring on her left hand clashed against his own wedding band, a muttered apology from the girl being waved off as he took a hold of her hand in his own - his eyes glazing over as a lifetime of horrors that he could never have imagined such an angelic looking thing to have been through ran through his mind.
He suddenly dropped her hand, eyes returning to their usual crazed state as Aro stumbled backwards towards his throne.
"Are you okay brother ?"
The dull tone from the King to the left filled Y/N with concern. Had she done something wrong ?
"Yes, yes. I am fine."
Aro waved Marcus off with little care, returning his eyes to the terrified looking teenage before the room.
"Miss Cullen, your mind... I've never seen anything of the sort."
"I wouldn't have viewed it as anything unusal."
Y/N gave a soft shrug, surprised at the reaction she had gained. Around the room, the other members of the cover just became intrigued. If something had shocked Aro it must've been interesting.
"All that violence, lengths that even I have never seen, at such a young age."
Her mind was taken back to the gang violence she'd grown up around. Mobs against mobs and constant fear of being shot. The amount of blood she'd seen as a child wasn't normal, she knew that. But that was her life. The Y/L/Ns were a very powerful family, not the boss' but very high up on the New Jersey food chain. She was to be wed to the boss' youngest son, natural she had grown up surrounded by 'the business'. She stitched her first bullet wound at age ten, or marbles as Tommy and his friends called them.
"We were at war, constantly. I never knew any difference."
The king simply gave a hum, eyes trailing down to the dazzling gem on her finger. Her sweatshirt only just covered the ring, it having only been noticed as Aro held her hand.
A scowl took his features.
"And that man, how do you stand to wear such a thing off him after his actions ?"
Venom burned her eyes, golden iris' looking down to the jewel with a bitten smile.
"It was normal in my time, and I was usually the one in the wrong."
Her words came out rehearsed, an act she wore when she didn't truly know what to say or do. An act that usually came out when Tommy's abuse was brought to conversation.
"Dear child." Aro trailed off, turning to his brother with a smile before he clapped his hands together ecstatically. "Well, we would be more than happy for you to join us, your gift is well rehearsed and could very helpful to our family."
A true smile slipped onto her features. Her eyes lit up at the expectance, especially if her gift. Carlisle and Edward often told her the use of it was dishonest, tainting people's minds to do her will.
"You may stay in Demetri's quarters whilst we set up somewhere for you to stay that is your own, he will be away for the remainder of the week so settle yourself in Dear. We will make you up a schedule that best suits your gifts but until then please just trail Jane and Alec, they'll teach you everything you need to know."
The king's smile shot through to Y/N, the girl's eyes fluttering over to where the witch twins stood in their identical cloaks. Alec stood with a smirk on his lips and bright eyes whilst Jane contradicted with a glare and snarled features.
This was going to be fun.
"Please, Jane, do show young Y/N to where she will be staying for the time being. We will summon you tomorrow for some more questions, Miss Cullen."
"Y/L/N, and thank you."
Marcus stood with a vague hand gesture before he dismissed the room. His eyes lingered on the latest addition to the cover, her relationship ties looked different to other people's. There was definitely something there he just couldn't tell quite what it was, or to who is connected. It confused him, which was very unusual.

hi mity!!! do you have any favourite manager that you work with outside of the deep diver and the other lawbots?
kinda interested in how the workplace socializes………
I… Find that a bit difficult to choose, as they are all quite nice. But if I must decide, Cathal is my favourite of them. They are quite easygoing, and despite his slacking, he is… quite soft to be around.

He is quite nice, and he has even offered to share his lunch break with me, which I find very sweet.
Sincerely, the Rainmaker. [As an ending note, if you do see Cathal, tell them I said hello.]

Panchala in Mahabharata - Part 4
This is a selective summary of Dr. N. P. Bhaduri's 'Katha Amrita Saman' series, covering only the points that he made with regards to Panchala. Now, because Shikhandi is an integral point to that story, and the professor does note some controversial streams of explanation in relation with his story, I just want to make it clear, that this is just a summary of his work. I personally both agree and disagree with the different parts of his commentary.
Special thanks to @chahaa-piun-ja, who wanted to read the books, and gave me the chance to comb through it once again! ❤️
Parts: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
In contrast with most form-specific adjectives the writers normally subject these women to, Draupadi is introduced to the Pandavas as ‘darshaneeya anavadyaangi sukumari manaswini’: where her intelligence takes the forefront before whetever her physical qualities may be.
Vyasa mentions that Drupada, from that first day in battle, has always wanted to have Arjuna as a close relative, and after having Draupadi, he is dead-set on finding the lost princes and marrying her to Arjuna.
Among other things, the author mentions that the fish-eye target which is usually used to illustrate the swayamvara challenge, is not mentioned in MB-proper, which rather explains it just as a ‘moving target’, with a small point to serve as the main target. Atitya lakshyam yo vedhha sa labdhva mat-suta-miti (it’s a reach, but mat-suta somehow got misinterpreted as Matsya? Seems unlikely though). Also, one had to hit the target with all five arrows to succeed.
Drupada’s first act of revenge is to be to alienate his best and favourite student.
Draupadi was carrying the weight of Drupada’s silent desire for having Arjuna as his son-in-law, which became part of the reason for her rejection of Karna.
Description of Panchala: in the center of the city, there was the sabha-mandapa, around it, his residence-palace. Outside the palace, a high wall, and outside that a watered moat. At regular intervals, there were gates with intricate toranas. Throughout the inside of the walls, specially for the swayamvara, chandraatapas (or semi-transparent tarps/covers). For announcements, big drums were situated at regular intervals. All roads were washed with sandal-infused water. Several seven-storied buildings were constructed (called vimanas), with gold chandeliers, gem-encrusted seats, and non-steep staircases. For 16 days they had a festival, with several kings and princes congregating. From Panchala’s side, dancers and singers were hired for non-stop entertainment. The Kings, along with Drupada, were engaged in many acts of charity as well.
After Arjuna is successful, Draupadi is described as almost ‘drunk’ with silent excitement. In Kashiram Das’s MB, Arjuna reciprocates this when he fights the other kings and keeps turning back mid-draws to see with a wide grin if Draupadi is impressed enough or if he needs to up his game. 😊
After Dhrishtadyumna check s up on Draupadi and returns, Drupada prepares a roomful of gifts: fruits & flowers, weapons, armour, and agricultural paraphernalia. Once their identities are well-discussed, Drupada makes Draupadi move into the same quarters, even before marriage, as the Pandavas and Kunti.
Then, there’s an interesting bit about ‘bhojana’ being an expression of an intricate relationship (and I do not mean actual food) in Mahabharata in general. Aamis, the Assamese film broadly explores the extremities of this concept in a modern construct.
The brothers then get married to Draupadi over a 5-day span, one after another in order of age. Also, after marriage, for quite some time the Pandavas quietly relax in Kaampilya, with Draupadi before Bheeshma comes up with the plan to divide the kingdom.
By this time, even Drona has become an important minister in Dhritarashtra’s court, but he does not poke and prod at his personal issues with Drupada, and aligns with his technical employer Bheeshma on the division proposal.

Back on geography in dmc since Fortuna is in Italy (preferably in the tyrrhenian sea) and dumary is definitely some fucking where along the French coasts either Mediterranean or bay of biscayan despite its canonical huge large size (two islands), unless at least dumary has some themiscyra-level of cloaking magic around it both them & Fortuna have definitely suffered at the hands of ww2 era fascism
like the Italian forces wouldve definitely at least attempted to raze mitis forest to try to make an airfield and implement a public transportation system in the capital with the order definitely suppressed like hell with each town having a patron martyr or two or more of their own since the order is technically pagan by Christian standards (demon worship)
and dumary would've been found sometime during the Mediterranean theater and thus sadly also been included in the German French occupation with definitely a few to a hell of a lot of dumarians martyred in just the initial occupation with the number sadly only climbing to the point of the island damn near getting wiped out as part of another of the Austrian's delusional plans (look up Germania for one of his lesser known ones)
Idk i just like the idea of Fortuna & dumary taking part in VE day and that sadly relies on them having been occupied in the first place

Dadgil is canon
So, I want to address the elephant of the room.. "Vergil doesn't care about Nero". Man... this is the same for me regards to "Vergil wants to kill Dante". Some people believe in this shit. 🙄
I want to point out that Dadgil is canon, and Vergil really cares for his son, Nero.
Let's start with the Cry of the Soul.. Have we heard of this? Yes, Yes we are.. Where exactly? My dear reader we will pinpoint this mission title screen in DMC3
Dante: We are the sons of Sparda. Within each of us flows his blood. But more importantly, his soul! And now, my soul is saying it wants to stop you!
Vergil: *laughs* Unfortunately, our souls are at odds brother.
It was reference also in Deadly Fortune novel
Time to discuss Nero's dream
I want to point out that Nero's dream is not the first time, but rather it happened twice already. As Nero said, he forgotten it and now he remembered.
The first time it happened was after the Mitis Forest Incident, a month before DMC4 or The Fortuna Incident happened. The whole story is pretty long tbh.
Kyrie and the orphanage children are in the forest for a field trip, 30+ Scarecrows shows up, 3 Holy Knights (Josh, Sagan, Tonio) were ordered, Nero run to the forest to save Kyrie and the kids as ordered by Sister Sesta, since she is worried, Nero saw Kyrie and the kids made it out of the forest and into the city still far away tho, saw the knights shielding them, help the knights to deal with it, Josh is wounded, Kyrie treat his wounds, Assault demon shows up via a portal, Josh was brutally injured, Nero saves Kyrie, can't control his sword to block the incoming attack use his arm to protect his head, Kyrie concerned, but Nero told her to run and protect the kids, Red Queen's charging system is broken due to overused, Nero, Tonio, and Sagan tried to lure but instead the demon run to where Josh is herding Kyrie and the children to safety, Nero and Sagan chased after it, Tonio ran to Josh's side, Kyrie jump in between the demon and the kids injuring on her shoulders via a graze to protect the kids by using her body as a shield, demon stabbed Josh, Tonio was paralyzed due to shock, Nero and Sagan took the opportunity to finish it, and Nero finished it by firing using his newly crafted Blue Rose
But the Order covered up the whole incident, in their Official reports
Several demons appeared from the depths of the Mitis Forest. Several houses in the city collapsed, and several residents were slightly injured. However, all the demons were exterminated by Holy Knight Nero who happened to be at the scene.
In this case, Nero's companion, a woman was injured. Nero also suffered a minor wound on his right arm, but it does not appear to be serious, Nero's sword, the Red Queen, was reportedly in need of maintenance by the Technical Bureau, and is currently being arranged. The reason for the appearance of the demon and its detailed location were investigated, but nothing was found. A re-investigation team will be dispatched on the next day. (DeepL Translation from the Japanese DMC4 Manual)
As Nero said, "They had sent knights to deal with the attack, but they didn’t get there in time to do anything, and no dead man named Josh had ever existed.”
The second time it was right after him meeting Agnus in his labs, and oh boy. Compared to what we see in game vs the novel. I still think that the novel is worse as Nero will explain via 1st person what is happening
Compared in the novel:
See the difference? It's fucked up..
Nero's PoV dream, even though Nero never saw his parents since he was an orphaned child. This is the second time he saw his father.
"Right at the edge between life and death, I remembered it. There was a man standing in front of me. I couldn’t recall his face, but that was fine, because I knew I’d never seen him before. His eyes were cold, but I felt that behind that, there was a gentleness too - and loneliness. He looked at me with those eyes, and I couldn’t think of anything to say to him, even though I desperately wanted to say something - but no words felt right. He spoke first.
Man: —can you hear it— can you hear it, your soul’s crying out—
Perhaps the man hadn’t really spoken, but I could still hear his words inside my head. What a peculiar voice… cold, dry… yet strangely soft.
Man: —your soul, what is it—
I interrupted his questions, to ask one of my own.
Nero: …and you? What is it that you’re crying out for?”
The man chuckled.
Man: —I need more power—
My reply was simple. “Well, that works for me.”
Then, I woke up. Why did I remember that dream, then? I had no idea; my most pressing issues were obviously unrelated. After all, I had already failed to protect myself. But for some reason, I think it was necessary for me to remember"
This is the hint that Nero is Vergil's son, even though both of them do not know this until DMC5
For the deep analysis... Visions of V and DMC5

I'm not a poetry nerd or has a major in English in to begin with. So I will not analyze the poem itself. What I want to point out is V's or in this case Vergil's question of wishing for an eternity. We will come back to this.
Then another... it doesn't make sense for now, but it will. Don't worry about it. Unless you figured it out already by this point.
Nero was concerned regarding V's health situation in Chapter 33.2 and V's feeling of wanting to be protected and loved comparing himself (Vergil) to Nero
This, this right here after Nero saved V is why Vergil said "Thank You, Nero" after his resurrection/revival. He saw in Nero that he is like his father, Sparda who protect the weak and needed help. He is not angry or being cold. He is just thankful for Nero, and Nero is just confuse.
Onto Mission 20, I would like to point out that Nero vs Dante that was shown in Deadly Fortune, its pretty different to how Nero vs Vergil was shown in DMC5. Dante is shown aggressive that Nero had to go all out, but wants Nero to calm down. Since we also known that Nero is hot headed once he is angry.
Nero vs Vergil, the upload is from Koudai.T in Youtube
"This is nothing to do with you, Stand down" Vergil pinpoint that this fight is only between him and Dante. Him saying "Stand down" is him just saying "Stop, I don't want to fight you. Now I know you are my son. This fight is between me and Dante." In a fight, is just to stop whatever you do.
"Nothing to do with me?! It has everything to do with me!" As we know, Nero is an orphaned child. He was fostered by Kyrie and Credo's parents. In here, Nero wants to point out that he was abandoned by his parents
"Nero..." is sad to hear this from Vergil's voice. That this is the reality is so soft-spoken, a tug on his heart as a father to know that you have abandoned a child that you never knew to begin with.
The whole fight is just an emotional fight between father and son. Since Nero wanted to continue the fight. Vergil accepted the challenge that he doesn't want to do it. He is a parent that doesn't want to harm his child. He is not like Dante that is more aggressive. He is calm, calculated, precise. To make Nero calm, Vergil also lets Nero to release all of his anger by using his sword by hitting him. This fight became like a training/practical test/sparring fight to see how Nero can beat him. Using all the abilities that Nero know. So now, its both emotional and sparring fight. And Nero know this
Nero: You feeling accepting yet?
Vergil: Of your existence? Or your strength?
Nero: Both, you fuckin' asshole!
Vergil accepted Nero already as his son. The strength part well... still continues, Vergil is being a teacher here. He is testing Nero's strength. As a parent, he is thinking how he will teach his child. What are his mistakes? How Nero will improve? How he will learn from his mistakes? Stuff like that. And is a reason why it was pointed in Vergil's character profile in DMC5
"It ain't no secret that Vergil's quick with a blade and when you see him in action, he's one slick mofo. That's gotta count for something, right? Just think if Nero'd learned to fight from his old man, yeah, I'd like to see that!"
You can argue that Vergil is already teaching Nero.. "Stay back, child" Vergil wants Nero to maintain in a certain distance while fighting. That is the number one rule during a fight. Anyone who learned martial arts and boxing will say this to you. Him saying "You disappoint me, Nero" means Nero didn't follow his instruction already. It's basically his instruction to Nero and the player was to avoid getting hit and maintain the distance. If you let Vergil hit Nero, you will notice his emotion of regretting. It's subtle, but it's there
A future that is already hinted that Vergil will teach Nero, if Nero wanted to learn and Vergil gives the Yamato to Nero as an inheritance once Nero mastered it. Since in Deadly Fortune, Nero admits that he can't. He is still an amateur.
It's also in one of his taunts... "There's no time for doubt. I know what must be done". It's him saying to himself that he should not hesitate as he fully trust his son for inheriting the Yamato.
At the end of the fight, when Vergil said this "I can still fight" Really? He is now exhausted with his wounds at this point, and you want to continue fighting Nero. Thinking about it more.. He just wants to teach Nero at this point.
If Vergil didn't care for Nero as some people said, he will follow Dante already to leave the Human World, but he didn't. He wants to let Nero know, and assure/promise him that he will come back to be with him. So, what does he do before he leave Nero? By giving and throwing the book. So what does the book mean?
The book is a collection of William Blake's poems. That was given to him by an old man who Vergil frequently visits, just to escape from Dante when he was a kid before the First Red Grave Incident happened.
Like father, like son.. There are parallels, and one of those is this. Vergil named himself as V as an alias to hide the truth who he is, but also to let Dante know that anything that has a letter V in it, belongs to Vergil. Since Vergil doesn't want to share it with him, while Nero was given as an alias named N by Jeffrey, a journalist from the Occult Times magazine in Before the Nightmare. It was also to show that Vergil prefers to give it to Nero as a personal inheritance from parent to child. Why I said that? There is this mentality of Vergil of not wanting to share with Dante
Is also a symbolism for Vergil's heart to let Nero take care of him. It is expected since parents are hoping when they got older. Their children are the one who will help them for support, until they passed away. Another is Vergil already showing his love for his son, and wanting to know if Nero will also do it in return.
Before Vergil left, this picture shout out to Dru (@drusoona). You need to see this using a camera mod. (Why does Capcom don't have legit camera for cutscenes, just to take pictures? Why are they hiding this? Same thing with Dante vs Vergil) Remember what Nero said in his dream, "His eyes were cold, but I felt that behind that, there was a gentleness too - and loneliness." It's right there.. just look at Vergil.
What I want to point out is Vergil's hesitation to leave Nero. He realizes that he wanted to be with his son for all eternity. He now answers his question before as V, "Has there ever been a moment that would make worth wishing for an eternity?". This is his wish, but sadly he can't be in the Human World as he needs to close the portal, and Dante is waiting for him to cut the tree.
This shots alone... He came back, since he promised to Nero after the events of DMC5 and cutting the roots of the Qliphoth in Hell. To the unitiated who never read the Before the Nightmare novel. It was explained that by using a shard of a Yamato. One can use it as an exit to the Demon World. Vergil use his Yamato maybe days/weeks/months after DMC5 and maybe was thrown with Dante somewhere outside Red Grave. Maybe a garbage bin like what happened to Dante after DMC2?
Now, the van event... The father and son van event is awkward, but if you notice. Vergil is trying to start a conversation, but never continues it. Remember in Visions of V manga? He is doing what Griffon tells him when he was V... To try and get along, to have a connection with his son, to bond.
The man is smiling, you know what does mean? This is his wish that was granted to him, what he wanted all along. To be with his son, Nero who he cherish. That he wanted to protect, since he can't protect Eva before (and by extension Lady in Red)

Note: Pullman seems to have got Lithuania and Latvia mixed up.
I think this is from the 10th anniversary edition of The Subtle Knife includes Stanislaus Grumman's hand-drawn map of the Witchlands.
Some of the areas he labels have easily discerneable equivalencies in Will’s world. Often, however, his spelling is close to, but not quite the same, as a geographically comparable region in Will’s world. Thus, the places on this map are simply places in Will’s world that possibly correspond to places in Lyra’s.
Lyra’s World (Queen / Place)
Juta Kamainen / Lake Visha
Julia Ojaland / Navia
Reina Miti / Tikshozero
Ruta Skadi / Lubana
Serafina Pekkala / Lake Enara
Paula Pyhdjaron / Lake Ladoga
Katya Sirkka / Miekojarvi
Sara Leiro / Keitele
Tanja Lentara / Lake Umalese
Will’s World

Narva, Ida-Virumaa, Estonia
Tikshozero, Russia
Lubana, Madonas Rajons, Latvia
Inari, Lapplands Lan, Finland
Lodja, Parnumaa, Estonia

Spoiler warning for Fable Smp Finale specificity based on Ari’s epilogue cutscene
I have a theory I what happened to Ven and why his face was glitched in the picture of the co-workers. I’m gonna paste the message I sent in the discord spoilers chat.
theoreticly when the world fixed itself and Icuras took the mantle the timeline fixed itself to how it was meant before Mitis(Quixis) changed stuff so Ven died at the time he was suppose to? it makes sense with cc!Ven's discord status (the perfect loop. The finale page.) in my brain the perfect loop. everything comes back around history that was already written as it was and will be set in stone the finale chapter finally being unpaused so the end can be written even if it isn't a happily ever after
This series started with the world resetting itself to a certain point over and over and maybe for c!Ven that’s how it was always meant to truly end the same way the story started
#fable smp#fable Smp theory#c!ven#venear atlan#I care so much about c!ven#over and over he keeps going over the world with Fengari and yet it’s all futile#English nerd nerds about writing symbolism#did you guys know I love when the character was doomed from the start but that can be there bittersweet happy ending

Things I would add to Fortuna city and Fortuna castle:
-Ballista and crossbows for the Order to use. Not sure if canons would be breaking the whole "no guns" rule, but they could AT LEAST have crossbows for personal use. The ballista would be mounted on the city walls, and possibly some within the town as well. Which was always a thing that bugged me that we never saw; Fortuna is a town constantly dealing with demon attacks- why WOULDN'T they have wall defenses?
-Sparda's bedroom in Fortuna Castle being at the top floor, in the highest tower. iirc, it was like that in the novel, but it's placement in the game makes no sense. It's right next to the graveyard, and you can't get to the other rooms in the castle without crossing through that bedroom. Which is stupid, because if it's a room leading into the interior of the castle from the outside, then there shouldn't be a bedroom in it.
Also, Sparda's room should have a balcony on it, because Sparda had wings and could fly, so why wouldn't he have a way to fly up to his personal chambers, in his own goddamn castle?
-A larder, ice house, forge, and kitchens. And bathrooms. And a laundry room. Because these are things that a castle NEEDS in order to survive, and it always bugged me that we never see them in DMC4. The sewers I could forgive skipping, but the rest? You need to at least add it to the castle design.
-Strawberries being a big thing in Fortuna. I'm not sure if they could grow in... where ever the fuck Fortuna is supposed to be located, but if they CAN grow in Fortuna, then they should be a big thing there. Since Sparda probably liked them, when he was alive.
-A training ground for the Order. In the DMC4 novel, it says that the old training grounds and Order HQ are in Fortuna city, while the new Order HQ and training grounds are off the coast, through the Mitis Forest. But we only ever see the new stuff- which doesn't make any sense.
-Better pathways around the place in general. There isn't even a decent path down to Fortuna Castle from the mountainside, and the castle was supposed to be a tourist attraction.
-Better use of the mining town and iron mines. Do people still live and work in the town we see Nero and Berial raze in their fight? If not, and the mine is shut down and out of iron, then wouldn't that negatively effect Fortuna city? Hell, wouldn't that negatively effect AGNUS and his research, since the Angelo armors tend to take a lot of metal?
-I'm not sure how to balance the more realistic design of Fortuna Castle actually looking like a functional castle (and also, as it is in Nero's time, a museum) with the demonic puzzles, but maybe have it where the Order redecorated things? I mean, I could see Sparda having SOME demonic puzzles in the place, since this would be his castle/home while he lived in Fortuna, and its always good to have a way to get around that not everybody knows about; and also, demons seem to love ridiculous, elaborate puzzles and weird architecture, even in places where they live. But it should be clearer what's there because the Order (under Sanctus) put it there, and what was there originally. According to the novel, the cages and the torture chamber are there because the Order added them, not Sparda or a later castle owner (not counting Sanctus). That's not clear in the game, which leads to some nasty implications, because why would SPARDA need or want a torture chamber?
-Every Order knight should have a side knife. And probably a crossbow. There should be a range of weaponry, too- not just swords, but polearms and other weapons as well. They're supposed to fight demons for a living, and you never know what you'll need. If they're supposed to be a sort of army, then all the more reason for variety.

6 Songs I've Been Listening To
beloved friend and mutual @sleepytimegrrl tagged me for this and as soon as she did I forgot every song I've ever listened to
1)
Here, have the top song on my Shadowheart playlist, which is a remix so niche I have only ever found it on youtube, where it has barely more than a thousand views. 3LAU feat. Oly Close (NESZLO & Matt Rysen Remix) thank u whoever you are for fixing what was almost a very good song and turning it into actually a good song that doesn't change genres and completely kill its vibe and momentum halfway through!
2)
i'm not writing DJ at the moment though this is at the top of my DJ playlist (...and where the title of my Nightfall smut fic comes from.) it's just a great fucking song. i am not immune to sick riffs.
3)
this song is evergreen to me. every time i get a new otp, there she is, waiting for me. "Once I was afraid that I'd find you. Your patient trembling eyes would unwind me, and all I've become. Once I was afraid, I'd fall in love with you, for the first time."
4)
There are only sorta words to this one. I love love love the atmosphere MitiS is able to create with his electronic instrumentals. This is the theme for the polycute's happy epilogue, which when I ever get around to publishing it will be called 'life in color,' one part from this-- and of course, one part from Shadowheart's 'after it all' conversation where she says she's tired of darkness-- she wants to plant so many flowers and live her life surrounded by color. :')
5)
"Only if you'd like me to, I could fall in love with you. Only if you'd like me to, fall in love." Catchy as hell, and the theme for the eventual waterfall date fic.
6)
the song that made me concede to making a goddamned Shadowheart playlist in the first place. goddammit. "Forgive my sins for I haven't found God, and I don't know when I can trust my heart But you were my rock, never my stepping stone."
aaaand sorry to all of you for the tag spam now that im finally getting caught up on tag games adljfdslkjf
but i digress! i will tag @avoskorm @defira85 @aurrieccentric-s @oldlight117 @marlfox1017

would u indulge us with a lil teaser from an update ur working on? 👀🤲
So I wasn't sure if I should post this because idk if I'll finish it, it's mostly just a worldbuilding experiment. I was writing this to work on this world so it's just a bunch of scenes with no continuity. That being said, this is the thing I have written the most in the past few months so this will have to do.
_
Summary: "This better be good." (Y/N) sighed into her coffee cup, less from sleep and more because of how awful the station's coffee machine was. "You've called me in exactly 8 hours into the one day I took off in two months."
"Two officers on night duty picked up a suspect near the meatpacking factory. I thought you would like to interview the potential suspect. Since this is your case." Kun shrugged, his holster rattling at the movement.
Warnings: Excessive exposition, no payoff
Word Count: 1666
_
When her fingers wrapped around the doorknob, there was a small shake in them. Her knuckles tightened in an effort to hide it, flexing just to be sure.
She spoke the moment the interrogation room door pushed open, “Your lawyer wanted me to ask you if you still don’t want him in here.” Talking to the floor, she turned to shut the thing behind her. A good enough start, she told herself.
“I apologise for his persistence. I asked him to leave but he is wary of his job.”
“It would be unfortunate to lose a client like you, I assume.” Kun spoke with his signature interrogation voice, impassive but with an edge of sympathy. The man laughed as she turned to face the room. Despite preparing herself this entire detour to meet his gaze head on, she lost her nerve and looked to Kun for some reassurance. He caught on, turning and giving her a pursed smile.
“Mr. Suh was just telling me about why he was in the area this late in the night.” Kun pointed at his pad, letting her know that he’d been taking his statement.
“I am looking to buy two of the five abandoned factories in the district. I was just scouting the area to assess my options.” He spoke slowly, his gaze dragging away from Kun in a leisurely stride before landing on her.
“At two in the morning?” She asked, the solid question giving her the confidence to finally meet his gaze.
“I’m a busy man.” He answered with laidback ease. Like he was having a dinner table conversation instead of being suspected for murder.
“And what do busy men like you do that require you loitering on private property at questionable hours?” She asked the question in her mind.
In response, his lips lifted in an amused smirk.
“She’s new here.” Kun spoke with an awkward weight on his tongue. The man seemed amused by the information, giving her a questioning look as Kun turned, “Johnny Suh is the sole owner of the Miti Conglomerates, the largest transportation service this far out on the edge of the known universe.”
“Well, on Xohorat I am mostly the owner of the only hotel on the planet. I am sure you had to stay there since you are new here.” He asked her, visible humour illuminating his eyes.
She did have to stay in that hotel, almost a year ago— when she was actually new to the planet. The most luxurious stay at the end of the universe. That is what the fliers over town and her transfer officer had informed her. In reality the room she could afford was the equivalent of an airport hotel way out on the opposite side of the universe. Her home. Not bad but more practical than luxury. It also hosted an interesting bar. All of this, of course, Johnny Suh already knew.
"Where were you on the twenty-fifth evening?" She asked him, fixing a discerning eye squarely on him.
"In my office. Working. I can provide the surveillance footage by tomorrow if that will help your investigation."
Overeager. She deduced, still keeping her eyes on his every movement. Despite the words, his body language was completely disarmed. There was no nervous shifting, no restless tapping, not even a frown.
"Did you ever have an association with a Mr. Pilem?" She pretended to look for the name in the file.
"I've never heard that name in my life." He answered after a pause to consider it. Perfectly orchestrated or the truth, she deduced. Those were the only two options she had.
"He was fairly well off. I'm sure on a planet as small as Xohorat, your circles might have overlapped?"
"Your partner told me he is a legislative clown,” He dragged his gaze from him to her, fixing her in place, “I don't mix with reformists."
"We are all reformists in this universe, Mr Suh." Kun chimed in, sounding rather serious.
"So you're a factionist?" She moved on, "Any animosity towards the government? Is that why you live this far out?"
"You live here too. What are your allegiances?" He pointed a finger at her. Despite the jest in his tone, he seemed to want an answer, "I am a man of business. Xohorat is a cheap hub for storing ships. The people of this colony are born engineers. My ships are the best in the galaxy at the fraction of the cost of the ones stored on moons closer to the reformer capital.” He sat back.
"The centre of the universe." Kun corrected him. That is what the capital was, after all. (Y/N) really had to curb the urge to tell Kun to drop it.
The words made the man look at Kun, his scoff that of pity, "The universe is the largest thing to exist. It's ceaseless pride that makes us think that we've discovered the centre of it."
Kun, she noted, looked momentarily taken aback. In his entire life, no one had said those words out loud to him. So obvious when spoken but never questioned. The outer planets were quite religious, she'd been surprised to learn. This far away from the influence of the capital, the laws were bleak. Her being here alone was a laughable matter, as she had learned pretty early into the job. Cops here only patrolled in cars and caught petty thieves. Detectives were simply government sanctioned employees chosen by the federal state. It was an illusion of order to keep up the illusion of empire this far.
Yet the reformist religion was stronger here than it was amongst the capital elite. Growing up, it had looked to her like people merely followed the tenets of the religion as a social obligation. For reformers, Wednesday evenings were for breaking fast with the community, a religious practice that made the community come together in the middle of the week to remember the gift of prophecy. The one that led the first explorers to the very centre of the universe. In the capital, the centre of the prophecies, Wednesday was a weekly dinner party to negotiate the happenings of government.
But here in the fringes of the capital's grasp, the religion was followed in the strictest ways. Here they still worshipped the original sun. The source of all energy that allowed the universe to be what it is today— inhabited by human beings. It was as if the world here had not moved past the exploration age, stuck in the beliefs that stopped the space farers from going insane on their long, tireless journeys to reach here.
If Kun had anything to say, he must have swallowed it. Instead, getting out of his chair.
"Would you like a cup of coffee, Mr. Suh?" He asked him, getting a nod in response. When Kun looked at her, she shook her head.
"Some water." She told him.
She followed Kun's retreating frame, so aware of the other pair of eyes on her that, for a moment, she felt like the one under scrutiny. The halogen bulb above them buzzed obnoxiously, filling the room with a sound that resembled the one in her head.
"An odd place for a factionist." She said out loud, aware by now that Kun had taken his place behind the glass in the small room right down this one. Watching as she did her thing.
"Where are you from, Detective (Y/L/N)?" He questioned, splaying his hand across the table and landing close to hers.
"Way out in the western reaches." She thought of the place she was born, balmy all year round.
The man, Johnny Suh, hummed, "Nice place?" He inquired.
"It can be. Why are you trying to buy abandoned factories on the bad side of town?"
"It is no more a bad side than this is the good. These are just some people looking for jobs."
She stared at the man, perhaps trying to reconstruct him from memory.
"And what about this murder that took place in the area?" She asked point blank.
"It didn't happen on any of my properties. Present or future. I simply assume it comes with the territory. It can be rough to live in that much poverty."
All his answers were deliberately diverted. Her brain itched in unreachable corners. Everything seemed okay but something seemed not. Something did not feel right.
"These murders were all people who did not belong to that side of town. People who would not usually be there." She explained.
"Rich people?" He sounded amused.
"Reformists. The important kind." She frowned, "In the past few months, enough have turned out dead in those parts that it would be concerning to anybody. Even those with a knack for philanthropy."
Johnny's lips twitched, and she had to sit up straight. Despite having seen the man naked, she remembered with a current of warmth sliding down her spine, she only now realised that she'd never seen him smile.
"I'm afraid I was just minding my own business. You can send someone to take a look at the tapes, I can't hand them to you as it's against company policy. Beyond that I can let you know if I hear something. I hope that's all?"
She stared at him, the strings at the back of her mind tugging but being unable to find any visible suspicion to act on.
"It must feel nice, though." She caved and asked the question raking her mind, "As a factionist, watching them all found dead. The chief planet advisor, the official notary's son, the Sol Pastor. All essential members of reformist society. All important contributors to the southern edge system."
"My condolences to them and their family." He didn't sound apologetic, “But I am not a facionist, merely someone who thinks.” She wanted to scoff at the jab, knowing Kun heard him loud and clear. Out of everything he said today though, this one she was sure was a lie.
