And by drinking buddy, I mean that the buddy doesn’t drink at all (rather he smokes) and they both sit in silence for hours at a time.

Just because Alice was trapped in Hell while alive, doesn't mean the living world was going to stop for her. She had to keep up with her studies. She was writing down notes and flashcards furiously on the balcony with her hood up. Normally, she'd do the smart thing and study inside the hotel in her room, but Nifty had to do some deep cleaning. She was on biochemistry when she felt someone watching her.

Alastor originally intended to sip his coffee out on the terrace, but when he saw someone was already there, he sighed a little. He watched as she scribbled furiously, hunched over into her books, albeit not as oblivious as the Radio Demon thought, for her body language seemed to tense up.

"Good morning, dear," he decided, curiosity winning in the end. "What has you so enthralled here?" He leans over to try and take a glance at her studies.

Eddie could tell you were stressed by just the sound of your despondent 'hullo' when you approached him at his van at the end of the school day

Not even waiting for a response from him; you let yourself hunch forward and burrowed your face into the center of his chest, allowing his comforting scent of cigarette smoke, the leather of his jacket, and the remnants of his cologne begin to soothe you

"Hello to you too, babe," he chuckled softly as he wrapped his arms around you

"Lemme guess..." he said after you let out an unintelligible sound in response to his comment and before he pressed a quick kiss to the crown of your head and guided you into the van

"Nancy started in on her plan to tackle finals, right? Made a big deal about it and got you all worked up?" Eddie questioned after he joined you in the van and exited the parking lot

Begrudgingly, you nodded your head and sunk a little further into the passenger seat

"Thought so..." he mumbled mostly to himself and parked in front of his trailer

Without further comment, he turned the van off and escorted you up the front steps and through the front door

Taking your hand in his, he lead you into his room and climbed onto his bed after he shrugged off his coat

Patting the space between his parted legs, he silently urged you to rest your back against his chest

When you settled against him, you felt him shift slightly behind you as he let one ring clad hand gently stroke along your arm

"Alright, here's what we're gonna do..." he began, and you turned your head to look at him

In his hand, he had his well worn copy of The Fellowship of the Ring and he gave you a lopsided grin as he single-handedly thumbed open the book

"I'm gonna read to you for a little bit and you're just gonna sit back and relax, okay, babe? I don't want you to think about anything Nancy said... just focus on me..."

11. Are there any tropes that you particularly enjoy writing?

Ahahaha I think it's super obvious but I find that for my straight ships I have this thing about a strong girl falling for the one guy she can respect. Also funnily enough both of the example ships for this have light haired girl with dark haired guy??? For any ships in general I love "they're smart but dumb about each other." Love truly does make you stupid!

15. Do you plan your fics or prefer to let the story unfold as you write?

I try to plan 100%! but I make executive decisions sometimes that have me rework everything after lmao, then I curse past me for leaving me with this problem.

20. How do you approach action sequences or intense moments?

I try to put myself in the charater's shoes! Who am I? What kind of situation is this? How aware and knowledgeable am I? And from then I use a lot of senses. I don't write action sequences a lot so I'm always insecure about them but haven't heard any complaints about them! Regardless, I think it's a lot to do about managing tension and pacing. I have my thoughts about Tarantino, but the glass of milk scene in Inglorious Basterds is a good analysis on it. (I know he's not the first to do something like this, in fact there's this talk about the bomb under the table thing, a quote from Alfred Hitchcock, but I haven't seen anything from him and I have seen inglorious basterds so i don't want to come off as if i'm some sort of cultured person.)
