it throws away plot points from both hfjone and ddlc becuase i'm just that cool . it's basically four people trapped in a game in a computer, later on five people. There's no just monika thing either, none of the ddlc characters' personalities are kept sorry

when the hfjone characters are put into the game [they're their regular selves outside of it], they're given their past college/high-school self and personality. it's pretty funny because that means half of the weird ooc thoughts are Why was i so cringe and the other half is LET ME OUT OF HERE

owen being put in mc's role in act 3 was more of a last-minute decision by airy [the "developer"] because his connection with liam fit and airy was trying to make sure the police didn't find out or anything He was a little too late for that though

A timeline of my history with the Object Show Community

If you didn’t already know (how would you, I’ve literally never told anyone before), Object Shows are actually my favorite YouTube web series of all time. I’m gonna chronicle my experience with them in this post.

2018

I was scrolling through YouTube one summer night, as one does, and I saw a video called X Finds Out His Value. I watched it, went to their channel, and watched the entire BFDI series in one night. I tried to watch BFDIA 1, but for some reason I didn’t like it, so I just fell asleep and kinda forgot about it.

2019

One day, my brain went “hey, remember that show you watched last summer? You should finish that.” Then I watched all of BFDI and BFDIA in one night, and just kinda forgot about it again.

2020

I never went out of my way to watch any of the show, it was just on my mind a lot. I found out that there was, indeed, an Object Show Community that year, for whatever that’s worth.

2021

I finally decided to watch BFB. I don’t remember what my feelings on it were then, because I made the fatal mistake of putting the episodes on as background noise while I did other things. When I realized I had no idea what was going on at any given moment, I kinda fell off of it again.

2022-2023

The only year of my life since 2017 that I didn’t have some interest in BFDI. I had a weird dream about it and a friend who was into it, though.

2024

The biggest Object Show hyperfixation I’ve ever had. I watched all of BFB, TPOT, Inanimate Insanity, and ONE this year. I’m much more active in the community, have a few OCs, and my favorite characters are as they’ve always been (Pen, Tennis Ball, Gaty, Balloon, Suitcase, Cabby, and Charlotte). Don’t really have much else to say, so let me say my opinions on each of these:

BFB: Not really a fan.

TPOT: Really like it.

II 1: Kinda have mixed feelings on, but overall, enjoyed.

II 2: Actually my favorite season in the Object Show Community.

II 3: Mixed feelings, mostly due to a certain object and a certain seven-letter word starting with “S” and ending with “r”.

HFJONE: Very cleverly written, especially with that twist revealed a couple episodes in which I won’t write about for reasons pertaining to the aforementioned seven-letter word.

All-in-all, I genuinely don’t think I’d be the same person if not for Object Shows. Thank you, Michael, Cary, Adam, and Cheesy HFJ.

HFJONE Theory Thingy ab Bryce, SPOILERS FOR INVESTIGATIONS 4/KYLIE

(This was pointed out by my bf so this moreso his theory than mine, hes got another one too which Imma prob post later but ye-) -

OKAY SO, when Bryce picks up his mail there's a pink letter amongst the pile (for reference, this from EP 11)

It might be possible that this is a pink slip/termination of employment

and in the case that it IS a pink slip (which he does look directly at), he might've been lying about needing to go to work

So, IF he's lying, what's the phone call about? Listening to the clip, the voice on the other end- - OKAY SO I HAD WROTE THE STUFF BEFORE THIS POINT BEFORE KYLIE'S INTERVIEW CAME OUT (LIKE MORE THAN 2 DAYS AGO)

FROM THE NEW INVESTIGATIONS, THE VOICE ON THE PHONE DOESN'T SOUND LIKE KYLIE, I was going to note before that the voice on the other end sounds like it's saying "something something police department" but now on top of that THIS VOICE ON THE OTHER END DOESN'T SOUND LIKE KYLIE (EVEN IF MUFFLED)

Even weirder, if this isn't Kylie, Bryce A) made up a lie about the freezer on the spot and B) doesn't want Liam to know there was a police investigation for some reason WHY? I'm not totally sure- but me and my bf just wanted this pointed out so, ya yeet

Liam locked up in his apartment in NY, he writes and writes and never gets anywhere. When he gets his one and only fan letter of his career he is tempted to tell them to stay out of his coffin.

Bryce sitting at his desk in Midland City, hearing things and letting his thoughts wander. He wonders about all the terrible things in his life, says he wonders if god placed him on earth to see how much he could take without breaking.

Liam is invited to an arts show by the one fan mailer, and decides he will become as dirty as possible and only walk or hitchhike to get there, he wants to ruin the show by being a failed author.

Bryce is given recommendation by one of his employees to attend the art show, and decides to go. He feels his symptoms getting worse and worse as the days go by.

Then they meet.

Uh, so I just had a dream about hfjone and I don't know it was very bizarre

It was basically some of the batch 1 contestants in a car (I'll say Bryce's car but i'm not sure.)

So Liam, Bryce, Amelia and Charlotte were in a car and like, Charlotte was like borderline dying and stuff, and apparently the others were taking her to the hospital.

And like everyone is trying to comfort her, like, you're not gonna die and stuff. Specially Scenty (She is only refered as Scenty, that's important later.) She is, holding her hand and stuff, comforting her.

Backpack is doing too, to a lesser degree. And Bryce is driving, so he can't do much, but occasionally he glances to the back seat and quickly glances back. Sometimes when he does this, he looks scared or smth.

And so in the dream, I was in 4 different character Povs in this order (I think) Amelia, Liam, Bryce and finally Charlotte.

And when we got to her, there wasn't like an Internal voice or anything. It was just letters? Words and they said roughly: This maniacs have been playing pretend with my corpse ever since they got out of the plane. 10 minutes later they would be explaining the police...

I forgot what she said. But like, her body was clearly dead (just 2 clarify)

After that I didn't wake up, but my brain was kinda like "hey this is messed up; let's wake up" and then I woke up.

It was very bizarre and I kinda just wanted to write to not forget lol.
