seeing taylor cry while discussing how we need to protect women from stalking and assault and lgbt being protected humanizes her in a way we haven't really seen before. we have obviously known her stance on these things for a while now but seeing how passionate she was and how serious it is to her in cideo is really really sticking with me. we've all sat here and cried because of how scared we are as women to walk alone at night or stand up for ourselves against men and/or lgbt people scared to be beat and bullied and it just felt more comforting to see that from her rather than just read it on tumblr or a magazine. it shows that she has the same fears as all of us as women and also wants to help the lgbt community to not have to fear for basic things such as holding hands. i don't know if i explained this well but, yeah the scene of her crying to three straight white men why it's so important to her to speak up for us really has stuck with me all day. @taylorswift you are my favorite person and i'm so so so so so proud of you and admire your strength and determination🤍🤍🤍

This year is 8 years since I attended my first Taylor tour, the Speak Now Tour & my first real concert. It was really the first time I realized how much she had changed my life & how much I really wished I could tell her & thank her for how she turned her pain into good. Though I still haven’t been able to thank her, I’m still oh so grateful to have her as a continued presence in my life as I’ve grown. She encouraged me to turn my pain into something worthwhile & that is something I’ll never be able to thank her enough for. I am so excited for “the next chapter” and can’t wait for April 26th.
