@taylorswift I wrote a story using the folklore song titles.

BETTY thought she found THE 1. On the SEVENth of AUGUST they met down by THE LAKES. Her in her CARDIGAN. Him in his Levi’s. He made her feel like she was his favorite. She had an EPIPHANY that they could be THE LAST GREAT AMERICAN DYNASTY. She thought it was true what they said. That an INVISIBLE STRING tied them to each other. Until it didn’t. People gossiped about what happened. And she became the “MAD WOMAN”. All over his ILLICIT AFFAIRS. She was in EXILE. She became a MIRRORBALL, all for him. She changed everything about her to fit in. All she wanted was PEACE after finding out their love was a HOAX. And she told herself as she looked to the ground, that, “MY TEARS RICOCHET, but I will show them that THIS IS ME TRYING.”

I (very safely and procautiously) saw my cousins last night. It was the first time I’ve seen my 10 years old cousin Suzi since Taylor liked my post on Twitter. She loves Taylor. I told her and she covered her mouth, screamed and said, “Oh my gosh! She did that?! Are you serious?!” Her brother Will then asked me if I was friends with Taylor Swift. I later showed Suzi the screenshots I took & she was in shock all over again, “What?! I didn’t know you’d be on her page.” They love you so much! @taylorswift

Someone asked me the other day why I fell in love Taylor and her music and continue to love her so much & I gave them 2 main answers. There are of course so many, reason this girl is loveable, but I said 1) What her music & words have helped me through. & 2) The stories she portrays through her music. She continued to do that with Lover so well! Not that I had ever doubted her, but...she manages to tell the stories of the Lovers, or the griever, or the yearner so well in this album. Well done Taylor. It’s incredible as always! @taylorswift @taylornation

- LOVER SONG TITLE STORY -

People often talk about their love story. How two LOVERs fell hard, & fast when THE ARCHER hit them & there was no turning back. And now, when the AFTERGLOW faded away, there was nothing left but a CRUEL SUMMER for MISS AMERICANA & THE HEARTBREAK PRINCE. There truly was no turning back. PAPER RINGS exchanged hands & on CORNELIA STREET a home was built; with her LONDON BOY. THE MAN she thought she’d trust forever. She never thought she’d experience the pain of DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS from one she loved the most. She looked at him as a FALSE GOD. Months later as a breeze forms in the air, she still struggles. Even with words of “encouragement”. “SOON YOU’LL GET BETTER.” , “YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN about it.” , “You can always come to ME!” , “IT’S NICE TO HAVE A FRIEND who understands.” & “I THINK HE KNOWS how you feel.” And the scar on her heart remains until they cross paths. He stops her to ask how she’s been & in that moment, she gets the closure she needs when she gets to say “Oh, I FORGOT THAT YOU EXISTED.” And then she stepped into the DAYLIGHT, letting everything that once was, go.
