10/100 days of productivity

Woke up early-ish to create last-minute wireframes for my visual homework. This past week has been busy: met with a student over coffee for an info interview, filmed and edited an interview for work, and spent 7.5 hours editing writing pieces for a student magazine because my co-editors and I procrastinated hardcore, but it was still fun! Also enrolled into 5/6 spring semester classes and waiting for the last one to open up for non-majors. Thank the lord it’s not filled yet, but pls pray for a bitch 😤

hello everyone! my name is gill (pronounced “jill”), i am 20 years old and i have had this account since i was 17. i started it right before my senior year of high school and it carried me through until graduation. sometime before my first year of college, i fell off and sort of forgot about it.

these days, i am in my third year of college. i study psychology at pace university. this semester, i’m studying from home and attending classes through zoom, like many, and it’s kicking my butt, so here i am again to grasp some motivation and encouragement from the community, which i’ve always loved dearly. 

while i was gone, i gained so many followers, and my first big post got even bigger, and i’m grateful, i’m glad people like my stuff. i want to offer more. i journal almost every day, and i’m taking a few challenging classes this semester, so i’d love to go through that journey here and maybe offer and receive some advice as i go. 

this semester i’m taking: intro to women and gender studies, psychology of stress, abnormal psychology, statistics in psychology, and writing in the disciplines.

Reasons I want to be a Serene Kid.

Well. First of all, I don't have any exciting qualities that stick out from other blogs. I'm another tropical blog who reblogs tropical...stuff. I do want to be a Serene kid because this is my first tropical blog (out of the millions of blogs I've had in the past), and I've never gotten into a group. I've never been a both, botn, botw, botm, etc... Nor has any promotions have gotten me a significant amount of attention. And I feel like maybe it's time I deserve it. c: I love blogging, especially on this tropical blog, and well.. It'd be nice to start the blog off in a group or something. I've had a successful start (68 followers in my first 24 hours), and I figure that it'd be cool if I had a bit of help. Thanks for talking your time to read this, guys. c: bye bye! xxoo

Day 6 - Why did you decide to do this challenge and what is your goal?

The first thing is wanting to resurrect my blog after that giant drought of original content that I had this summer. But also I've always felt that I've never properly, actively tried to make friends with other people in the community (like I find it very hard to just randomly message people out of the blue) so I thought the second part of the challenge would be really interesting and fun and help with that :DD so yea those are my goals - post more and maybe make some new friends
