Hi. Could you do one story about Neteyam returning to life, but he decided to hide instead of going to his family? Maybe Eywa turns him in a metkayina?
the return of son
The death of the eldest son weighed heavy in everyone hearts, as the boy had meant so much to everyone but now he was gone. The great mother had called him home, and all her children had to come home at some point. He had given up his life to save his family and keep everyone safe from the harm of the RDA. The great mother knew it was to soon for her child to come home, as he had more to live with and that there were other waiting for his return.
Neteyam " ......." neteyam felt like he was light until he soon couldn't breath and felt something was off, that when he open his eyes and saw he was underwater. He knew he couldn't panic and soon swam toward the surface.
neteyam " ahhh" neteyam had soon reached the surface and started coughing and breathing heavily, he was in the middle one the ocean and couldn't see the village. He soon saw a small inland and swam toward it.
neteyam " what happen where is everyone else where I'm" neteyam was trying to collect his thoughts about everything, he couldn't find his family or anyone else he was completely alone. That when neteyam had gotten a flashback he remembered being shot by one of the recoms and having a hard time breathing, as he had been shot.
neteyam " I was shot" neteyam was looking at his chest to see the worn had been healed, and replace by a scar he was still alive but he had dead. He had remember feeling very sleepy as he was laying on the rock he didn't want to die, but he soon had dead leaving his family behind.
neteyam " I was dead but now I'm alive I had been killed but I'm back here alive .... I need to find my family and tell them I still alive" neteyam was going to find his family when he stopped dead in his tracks, what if he being alive bring them trouble what if he came back so will the recoms.
neteyam " no if I go back I will only bring them trouble I need to keep my family safe"
neteyam " I want to see my mom and dad ... I want to see my brother and sisters ... but I need to think about their safety" neteyam really wanted to see his siblings and parents, but was scared of what will happen if he did come near them.
neteyam " maybe I need to wait it out a couple days and see what happens" that night neteyam didn't get that much sleep as he so badly, wish to be back with his family but was scared of what will happen.
The next day
neteyam " payakan" neteyam was standing on the beach when he saw a tulkun he knew so well, it was payakan. The tulkun had noticed him as well and soon made his way towards the boy.
neteyam " hey there buddy it good to see someone I know"
payakan " neteyam you are alive"
neteyam " yes it seems like the great mother has brought me back"
payakan " that good the ocean seem to be harmony now these days, it seems like the great mother knew it was not your time yet" neteyam soon hopped onto payakan back as the duo soon swimmed away from the inland, the tulkun could tell there was something off about the boy.
payakan " so why haven't you return home to your family"
neteyam " I'm scared if I go back trouble will come to my family, I gave up my life for them what if the rda comes back"
payakan " trouble will come no matter what happens but right now your family and everyone else you love needs you ... nothing has been the same since you have been done the great mother might of seen as well"
neteyam " you are right I can't keep on hiding but what if they don't wish to see me and think I'm some rda trick"
payakan " your family knows you well enough"
????? " payakan brother" neteyam had heard lo'ak voice as he made his way towards payakan, lo'ak didn't notice his brother brought back alive as he got onto payakan.
lo'ak " hey payakan I came to see you today ... thing haven't been the same since neteyam death my parents are no longer the same, and no longer my sister I miss him so much I wish I could take back the words I said to him ... he is my brother and will always me my brother he might of left mad with me or upset"
neteyam" I was never upset or mad with you baby brother" lo'ak soon looked back and saw neteyam standing, there the boy had tears falling down his face.
neteyam " hey baby bro you not going to hug me" lo'ak soon rushed and hugged his brother the two of them falling over.
lo'ak " I'm so sorry I'm so sorry you dead because you came with me to save spider I'm sorry for saying you were not my brother"
neteyam " it okay I will do anything for you and everyone else"
lo'ak " how are you back how is this possible"
neteyam " well it seems like the great mother gave me a second chance, I came back alive yesterday but I was scared of coming home"
lo'ak " why were you scared"
neteyam " I thought coming back will bring trouble to the family if I can come back so can they"
lo'ak " we can deal with that later brother we have to get you home, to get some care and to see the rest of the family ... you have been dearly missed"
neteyam " yes lets get home"
lo'ak " come on payakan lets get my brother home to see the family" the group soon took off heading home, the brother were happy to be reunited again.
lo'ak " mom and dad haven't been the same since you had dead, mom has become even more protected and doesn't smile that much and dad has become worried for us all"
neteyam " I'm sorry my death had effected everyone but I'm back now"
lo'ak " tuk, kiri, and spider have missed you dearly as well nothing has been the same without the eldest sully"
neteyam " I missed you all as well and I hope we can make up for lost time" the brothers and payakan soon reached the village, lo'ak gave his brother a small smile.
????? " lo'ak there you are we were wondering where you ran off .... neteyam" kiri had came towards the brother as they walked onto the beach.
neteyam " hey kiri"kiri had ran to her brother hugging him happy to see him again.
kiri " please tell me this is really and I'm not imagining you are here ... please tell me you are real"
neteyam " I'm really kiri I actually here"
kiri " how are you home"
neteyam " I don't know why but the great mother gave me another chance"
????? " kiri loa'k where did you both go" tuk soon came running as well looking for her brother and sister, but she soon stopped running when she saw neteyam standing there.
tuk " neteyam neteyam ... teyam you are here"
neteyam " hey tuk tuk" tuk ran towards her brother and hugged him knocking him down, as she cries on his chest.
neteyam " don't cry tuk I'm here now"
tuk " I missed you teyam I really missed you" kiri and lo'ak helped their brother stand up as he was holding tuk still, soon placing her down on the ground.
neteyam " well no more missing me anymore I'm here now"
tuk " come on lets take you to mommy and daddy"
kiri " yes mom and dad need to see you as well"
????? " hey guys what are you all doing ... neteyam dude you are alive" spider had shown himself, neteyam soon walked towards him and smile towards spider.
spider " I'm so sorry about you getting killed I ...." neteyam soon place a hand on spider should and looked at him.
neteyam " it none of your fault for what happened and I'm happy you are back with us"
spider " thanks dude" the group had stayed there together but it was not for that long, until they were joined by a few others.

Neither one of them could hold back their tears as they fall down their faces, it had been months since they last held their boy and now he was back.
Jake " how are you back here we laid you to rest with the great mother"
neteyam " I don't have a solid answer but it seems like the great mother, gave me another chance and now I'm here"
neytiri " thank you great mother thank you"

Ronal and tonowari were shocked to see that boy was alive and well but they were grateful to have him back. Neteyam was given some food and medial check up, and everyone was good. It seems like ronal and mo'at haven't been able to get an answer for why, they boy had returned but it seems like only eywa will know that. Neteyam was home with his family and friends and everyone was happy now and so was he, now there will come a new journey for all of them as they move on with life.

Making Up for Lost Time - E.M.
So like 4 months ago, I wrote "Sleep Tight" which I can't believe has over 1300 notes. Anyway, I am finally writing something else with these two.
As background, Eddie and Reader have known each other since they were kids. The reader left Hawkins after graduating (Eddie's first try @ Senior Year) and moving to Chicago for college. They lose contact with each other for about 10 years until Reader returns to Hawkins. Eddie has a 4-year-old son Ronnie, and Eddie and Reader are about 28.
Tags are at the end from everyone who said they wanted a part 2.
WORD - 1.8k
FOLLOW UP TO SLEEP TIGHT
WARNINGS - smut and feels. Angst w/ a happy ending
Italics are flashbacks
You were waiting in your driveway, looking down the street anxiously for any sign of Eddie's white van.
"Peanut, we need to get going." your dad said with a sigh. Your mom was already in the passenger seat, the back of the station wagon filled with what you would be taking to Chicago. You were genuinely ready; your best friend was the only thing missing.
He had promised he would be here. He promised he would be here to send you off on your next adventure, yet the road in front of your house was silent, with no sign of Eddie's van.
"Just five more minutes, ok?" you asked, and your dad simply smiled as he shook his head. You continued standing there, arms crossed across your chest. With a defeated sigh, you turned towards your car when you heard it. The sound of a fast-coming vehicle approaching, and with a grin on your face, you watched as your best friend came to a screeching stop in front of your house.
"I'm here!" he shouted, nearly falling out of the driver's seat as he made his way towards you, not giving a single fuck about the volume of his voice and how it might irritate your neighbors at 7am.
"I knew you would make it," you said with a smile as you hugged him eagerly. Eddie looked past your shoulder and waved at your parents.
"Good to see you, son." your Dad chuckled. "Was afraid you were gonna be a no-show."
"No way," Eddie said with a grin. "Couldn't let the college girl go without seeing her off proper." Your dad chuckled to himself before he climbed into the driver's seat. "So, you ready for Chicago?"
"The question is, is Chicago ready for me," you said with a tone of pure confidence that made Eddie's heart skip in his chest.
"You're gonna be fine; you'll slay 'em dead," he said with an assured voice. He paused when he saw a look of worry flash across your face. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing," you said, looking away for a moment before you spoke again. "It just, what if..."
"What is it?"
"What if I fail?" When you looked back at Eddie, you were met with his warm brown eyes, a warm smile spreading across his face.
"Are you kidding me? You were the class salutatorian; you're gonna do great!" Eddie said with an assured voice.
"That was here; Hawkins is a tiny ass pond compared to Chicago. What if I fuck it all up?"
"Then you come back home, lick your wounds, and we'll get you back into the big bad world." Eddie sounded so sure, but he had always been your biggest cheerleader.
"Maybe I should stay," you said quietly. Eddie let out a sigh and placed his hands on your shoulders.
"You could," he started, his heart clenching at your hopeful face." But I know you, and you would hate yourself if you didn't go." You sighed, knowing every word he spoke was accurate.
"What will I do without you?" you asked, and Eddie hated the hitch in your voice.
"You're gonna be fine. And besides, if anyone gives you problems, just call me, and I'll roll in and kick some ass." You chuckled, your hand quickly moving to wipe a few tears that had fallen down your cheeks. Eddie didn't say anything; he simply pulled you into a bone-crushing hug. He rested his head on yours, inhaling deeply and trying hard to remain stoic.
"Y/N," you heard from the car. "We gotta get going if we want to make it by check-in!" You pulled back and looked up at Eddie. You slowly pulled away but stopped when you felt his hand in yours holding on. You turned towards your friend, the one who knew you better than anyone else. He looked like he wanted to speak, and you tilted your head at him.
"Eddie," you asked quietly. He sighed before he squeezed your hand.
"Just," he said before letting out a heavy sigh. "Call me when you get there. I want to know you got there safe." You nodded before turning back towards your car. You opened the door but paused before closing it and returning to Eddie. His heart beat wildly, bracing himself as you leaped into his arms.
"I'm gonna miss you," you said, and he squeezed you tighter. He placed you back on the ground and ran a hand over your hair before running a thumb over your cheeks.
"You're gonna see me in two weeks. Plus, you're amazing; you'll have new friends in no time."
"But they won't be you."
"Damn straight," he said with a cocky grin that made you chuckle. "You'd better get going; we both know your dad is a stickler for a schedule." You nodded before reaching up on your tiptoes to place a soft kiss on Eddie's cheek.
"I'll call you when we get there." Eddie nodded as he watched you climb back into the car. He watched as your dad started the station wagon and smiled as you leaned out the window to wave goodbye to him. He stood there until your car had vanished down the road and was no longer in sight, on its way to take you to a new city and a new life without him.
He climbed back into his van and took his time driving back to Forest Hills. The ride was silent; he just didn't have it in him to turn on the radio. He parked the van and entered his trailer, standing in the center of the living room and only turning when he heard Wayne's pickup. He didn't move as his uncle entered their home.
"Hey boy, you back already from seeing your girl off?" his uncle asked with a hopeful grin. "Tell me everything; what did she say?" Wayne's grin fell when he noticed Eddie's shoulders slump.
"I couldn't do it."
"What?" Wayne asked in a quiet voice. He moved to stand before his nephew; he hadn't seen him look that heartbroken since the night the police had dropped Eddie in his care. "What do you mean you couldn't tell her?"
"She's going off to a new life; she doesn't need me holding her back."
"That's horseshit, and you know it, boy," Wayne said with gruff certainty. "Shit, you've loved her since you were 13." Eddie sat down with a huff on their old sofa. He rested his elbows on his knees, his head resting in his hands as he looked up at his uncle.
"She said thought about staying," he said quietly. Wayne's face lit up.
"Are you kidding me? That was your in, boy!"
"I told her to go." Wayne let out a heavy sigh before taking a seat next to Eddie. "I told her to go because I didn't want her to hate me when she realized she should have left Hawkins when she had the chance."
"Oh, Eddie," Eddie sniffled this time, and Wayne wrapped his arms tightly around his boy when Eddie finally started crying. Eddie hugged his uncle back, letting out his grief that his best friend had left and had taken a piece of his heart with her. His best friend had left, and he had done nothing to stop her.
----------------------------------------------
The feel of calloused fingers down your back brought you slowly out of sleep. You shifted closer to Eddie, your arms tightening around his ribs as you turned your sleepy face towards him to see his brown eyes already focused on you.
"You're being a creep," you said, causing Eddie to pull you closer to his side. You couldn't help the content hum from you as you felt his lips against your hair.
"Couldn't help it; spent years dreaming about just this scenario," he said as his lips found yours again.
Your first date had been a smashing success and was hands down the best either of you had ever had. It was nothing fancy; Eddie had taken you to a movie, followed by a last stop at the diner. You had concluded that the date was going so well because you already knew everything about each other, so there was none of that awkward get-to-know-you bullshit. On your porch, you had kissed and kept kissing before asking if he would like to come in for coffee. Two rounds of coffee later, you had fallen into a blissful sleep until now.
You glanced at your alarm clock, seeing 3:15am staring back at you. Shuffling closer to him, you placed soft kisses on his chest, over the demon's head tattoo that you had held his hand through when he was 16. "It's late," you mumbled before placing your head over his heart.
"We've got time," Eddie said, and you smiled as you felt his hand lift your chin up to look at him. Before you could reply, his lips were on yours again, his tongue sliding into your mouth when you gasped at the feel of his other hand trailing down your sternum. He shifted you until you were underneath him, all sense of sleepiness gone as you felt his cock hot and heavy against your thigh as Eddie's lips moved to your neck. Your breaths were heavy when he pulled back, reaching a hand down to run his cock through your folds as a whine left your throat.
"Besides," he said as he pushed forward, entering you fully before resting his forehead against yours. "We have so much time to make up for."
His chest was pressed against yours, his hips grinding deeply against yours, hands intertwined and clasped tightly. When you came, it was with his name on your lips, heart nearly bursting when he did the same seconds later. In the afterglow, you noticed tears brimming in his eyes, and all you could think of was how you wanted to live in this moment forever. Your hands cupped his face and brought him down for a deep kiss, pouring your love into him before pulling him down to rest against you. His head against your chest, you could feel your own tears beginning as you felt his lips place soft kisses over your heart.
"Ssssh," you whispered as you ran a hand over his hair. "I'm not going anywhere, promise." He shifted his hips, his cock finally pulling from your heat as he shuffled the two of you onto your sides. He pulled you against his body, his grip firm as if he feared you would disappear into the night.
"Love you," he said softly. You felt your body blush as his lips moved against your hair. He finally let out a sleepy yawn before he continued. "Gonna marry you, so act surprised, yeah?" You couldn't help the smile as soft snores told you that Eddie had fallen asleep. You yawned, feeling sleep coming for you as well, and you pressed a final kiss on Eddie's chest before closing your eyes.
"Looking forward to it."

All my attention Part 10
warnings- swearing, kissing, slight-teasing
words- 1.9k
If you'd like to read the previous parts → All my attention series
a/n- so if you're new here I am British and cannot speak any German, I speak a little French, Spanish and Italian but German- no. I also do not trust Google translate so this is gonna be like an avatar thing (if you've seen the newest one Jake says that their language just became normal or something along those lines) so in reality this is all in German, you as a reader know German but, its wrote in English... make sense? no... oh well
(I'm so sorry I've not done one of these in fucking ages but I've been so caught up in things and tomorrow is my sister birthday so this last week we've been doing things for her!)
┍━━━━━━━━━━ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ━━━━━━━━━━┑ backstory- you are the 5th member of Tokio Hotel and you always thought the love was equally platonic between you and a certain guitarist... but what if that all changed?
Bill's words stuck with me the whole day- what were we now? I didn't have a title for us and neither did Tom so we looked blankly "it's a bit early to tell yet" I spoke curling my lips between my teeth, Bill rolled his eyes and stood up heading to the front door
"well when you decide, tell me" and he left leaving me and his brother sat, Tom just smiled warmly to me, his arm hooked around my waist and we fell back into the seat his face finding it's way to the crook of my neck
"can we stay like this for a while" he spoke into my skin "you're so warm" I hummed a laugh while drawing shapes onto his shoulder "sorry that happened by the way..."
"it's okay" he breathed "I can't believe he found you" I giggled feeling a smile spread across Tom's lips "but I guess it's not to bad him knowing- it's if the press see or fans or just anyone besides a few close people" we sat cuddled up for a while, speaking small sentences and keeping each other warm and comforted until the time rolled around and Tom had to leave
"I'll call you tonight" we stood at the front door, arms wrapped around each others waist "you'll have to tell me about what you did for the rest of the day"
"well I could probably tell you right now- I'll be sat in my room reading a magazine then falling asleep, fun right?" the dreaded boy laughed pressing a kiss to my head
"thrilling- right I actually gotta go now, love you" I pulled his head and our lips connected, a hum of pleasure came from his lips "I fucking love that I can do this now" he kissed one last time before saying goodbye and running back to his own house, I shut my door and stood In the hall thinking over the last day- so much has happened
┍━━━━━━━━━━ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ━━━━━━━━━━┑
"it was wonderful sweetheart! I didn't know you could cook so well" my dad grinned collecting all our plates "tasted just like nana's"
"well I thought I'd try it out as a surprise for you all coming home- what do you think Stella?" the little girl clapped her hands with a huge gummy smile across her sauce covered lips "good?"
"yeah!" she laughed as mom lifted her from her seat to clear her up "momma good?"
"it was, sunshine it was great! you'll have to cook more" I rolled my eyes playfully at my mother as she patted my shoulder walking by "right well I need to give Stell a bath- oh y/n could you do me a job, pop next door and ask if they have...oh whats the word?" my mom stood bouncing my sister on her hip
"your dress by any chance love?" my dad spoke pausing from washing the dishes
"yes yes! my yellow dress, tell Simone I'll pay her tomorrow" I nodded standing from my seat and grabbing my hoodie off the stairs, I grabbed my keys and went out, cutting across the lawn and jumping the wall over to their house, I went straight to the door and did my special knock, I herd a few shouts before a groan and the door flew open
"yeah- oh Y/n!" I saw Tom stood holding a bottle of coke in one hand and the door in the other "hey babe" he came out shutting the door behind him and pressing a kiss to my lips "what are you doing here?"
"hey I've come to get moms dress, that yellow one" he nodded re-opening the door and holding it for me, I walked in to see the Kaulitz's huddled round a table covered in monopoly "hello"
"Bill no you cant-hi sweets, you okay?" Simone asked coming over "wait let me guess- your mothers wedding dress? well wedding guest dress" I nodded "follow me" Tom smiled letting me follow his mom up the steps and him closely behind "it should be a better length now, if not tell her bring it back"
"it looks amazing, moms going to look beautiful- oh she told me to say she'll give you the money for it tomorrow" I watched Simone sigh giving the dress over
"your bloody mother- she's not paying me, I know she wouldn't make me pay. anyways; whats your dress like I herd it's a dark purple one right?" she asked sitting herself on her bed
"yeah it goes to my ankles, I have these black shoes to wear but the dress its self is like purple in one light then a blue shine? I guess you could call it that- kinda iridescent"
"you'll match Tom's tie! you two could go as a date" I turn to the boy who was already looking to me "Bill can take.. well I don't know" she trailed off as the two off us laughed at her words
"we could love" Tom elbowed my side and his moms eyes shot up "erm anyways- whats Stella wearing Y/n?" he tried to ignore his mothers gaze but I could already hear her words
"whats going on between you two?" she raised an eyebrow and a hot flush lay across my cheeks "Oh! I see- Bill was right then" she rubbed our shoulders then walked out with a small giggle
"right so mom now knows..." Tom huffed chewing his cheek
"its okay, I mean maybe its good? we said we'd only really let close friends and family know- bit earlier then we planned but" I rested a hand on his clenched one and felt him relax "it's gonna be okay"
"I love you Y/n" his free hand cupped my jaw bringing me close to him bar a few inches "so much" I pushed forward connecting our lips "fuck" he groaned arms moving to circle my body, his mouth moved down to my neck to my sweet spot
"Tom- no not there" I hummed trying push him away not that I didn't enjoy it, I was terrified his family would hear "To-ahh-Tom please" he pulled away with a smirk "such a idiot"
"aww" he purred tucking loose hair behind my ear "can't take it?"
"sure if you wanna think that but I'm going home now" I laughed trying to walk out the room but felt a hand grab my wrist "Tom!" he pulled me back jabbing his fingers into my side making laugh as it tickled "TOM STOP!" I cried falling to the floor throwing the dress to the side while trying to kick him away "STO-HAHA PLEASE STOP" He finally stopped helping me back up and kissing the corner of my mouth "fuck off being all lovely now- I'm going" I got the dress and walked out the room back down the stairs were Bill was giggling along with his mom
"okay Y/n" the black haired boy grinned
"goodbye" I walked out the house hearing the laughing begin again and I couldn't help but join in, I mean the whole thing was crazy I guess. I made it home giving the dress over and getting ready for bed as we had practice for a show soon and have to be there for 8 so I showered, shaved, did skin care, cleaned the bathroom and in no time it was 1:24am- I sat on my bed re-painting my nails before my phone started to ring saying Gustav "hm" I grabbed my cell and answered "Gus?"
"hellllooooo Y/n/n we need you're help especially Georg- he wants you" he sung
"huh! whats up with you?" the boy giggled before the phone was ripped from his hands "oh"
"hey Y/n" it was Georg "Give me the phone- erm sorry about that but ah... have you by any chance got time to come to..- Georg give me my fucking phone you asshole- I don't know the name.. okay its the bar by McDonalds and get me and Gustav?- Georg I.... I don't feel good- or get Tom to get us, we can't get a fucking cab and" Georg was interrupted by a heaving sound then splat "ON MY FUCKING SHOES YOU CUNT REALLY?" I began laughing "FUCK OFF OVER THERE- ima kill him"
I couldn't hold back my laugh hearing the angriness of the bassist "I'll get Tom to come get you because I don't drive yet but, I'll make the spare room up for you guys" a quick thanks was said before the line ended and I found Tom's number
"hey.. what's- whats up?" his voice was sleepy and I mean it was 1:30 almost
"hi so erm... Georg and Gustav need you to pick them up from the bar next to McDonalds- like now" I herd him groan but then the shuffling of bed sheets and his feet dragging
"I'll meet you in the car babe" I laughed but he was serious
"I'm not coming I need to get the spare room ready for the two"
"I'll be waiting" and he ended the call 'great'
┍━━━━━━━━━━ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ━━━━━━━━━━┑
"this is fucking stupid- why couldn't you guys walk to Y/n's instead of making me get up as well and drive to get your asses?" Tom scolded as the two clambered into the back
"well it was Georg's idea, he wanted to see Y/n" I herd a slap then a shrub from the bassist "what?!"
"dickhead" Georg grumbled staring out into the black streets, I saw Tom's jaw become tight, eyes narrower
"just say it dude- come on" Gus whispered erring another punch
"say what?" Tom turned back as we stopped at a red light "what's gotta be said?" he looked deadly, the red hue from outside making his features more intimidating
"Tom" I called giving him a 'look' but he ignored it "leave it they're drunk" I spoke just quiet enough for him to hear
"nothing has to be said man- he's bringing up shit" Georg protested, the lights switched and the guitarist turned back around giving me an angry look
"can you just take us home now" I asked turning to him, his body tense, knuckles like white mountains on his hands
"I'll fucking find out"
we made it home and the two boys had to help Gustav into the bed, quietly I stood watching Tom tuck in the drummer with an annoyed frown "thanks for this Y/n" Georg smiled nudging me "I'm sorry for what that dick was saying- his on a hole different world I promise I didn't wanna see you.. No no not that but- tell you what" the brunette rubbed my arm gently before walking away into the room nodding at Tom before getting in the bed. me and Tom tip toed into my room, shutting the door silently
"what did he say to you?" he spoke perching himself on the edge of my bed, I stood between his legs playing with his loose dreads
"that Gus is on his own planet and he didn't want to see me, but not like in a rude way but he gave up talking to me and just went to bed" Tom huffed resting his head on my stomach "you were a bit angry earlier Kaulitz?"
"of course I would be- don't want anyone acting like that toward my girlfri-" he stopped himself looking up to me and I couldn't stop the smile from forming on my face and nor could he "my girlfriend.. you... Y/n will you be my girlfriend?" I nodded whispering yes repeatedly "good" he spoke before our lips linked and I fell onto him, straddling him, his hands perched for a place to rest before getting comfy on my hips "love you baby"
"I love you too"

38 | Distance
Series: Indispensable | Teen Wolf
Paring: (Stiles Stilinski x OFC Martin)
Word Count: 1.9k
Warnings: jealously
| MASTERLIST |
As Isaac was on his way to find Julia in school he passes Stiles and Scott as they were talking about what Malia does when she sneaks into his room, "Nothing wrong with being the little spoon. I enjoy Julia's cuddles. It's like having a baby kola on your back." He speaks up staring to walk with them.
"Huh?" Stiles looks at him feeling like he was going to have a stroke.
"Yeah but after certain things I'm always the big spoon." He adds smiling walking off then jogging towards Julia in the distance.
Scott stays silent looking at Stiles sensing everything he was going through, "Was he just saying that to piss me off because he knows I still can't stand him?" Stiles turns to Scott.
"I don't have an answer for that but I know he succeed at pissing you off. Which I don't understand."
"She's still my friend and I just don't care for Isaac." Stiles tells him as they walk to class.
Entering the classroom Stiles sees Julia in the back sitting next to Isaac. Hell, it was the almost the same for every class now that she no longer sat near him and Scott. Isaac ends up seeing him looking at them so he winks at him.
While Mr. Yukimura was teaching about how many great historic leaders have failed spectacularly before succeeding. He lays out the details of one such leader saying he failed at business, had a nervous breakdown, was defeated for both houses of congress and lost as a candidate for Vice President and then asks if anyone knows who he is describing. While many hands in the classroom go up, he calls on Malia who seems distracted with a highlighter in her mouth while furiously drawing red lines.
Scott's phone rings and is told to turn it off. Mr. Yukimura gives more clues saying, one of our greatest Presidents, Gettysburg Address, Malia still didn't have the answer while Kira was furiously waving her hand at her father.
Stiles' phone ends up beeping and Mr. Yukimura again admonishes everyone to turn their phones off. Malia was furiously looking in her text book when Mr. Yukimura opens the question up to the rest of the class, every hand goes up. Malia sinks down in her desk, embarrassed.
Another cellphone beeps and Mr. Yukimura shouts that he said phones off but Kira points out that it's his phone ringing this time. He picks it up and reads a text, "Scott call Lydia."
Later at the Animal Clinic, Lydia is just finishing putting bandages on Deaton's injured arm. Deaton theorizes that Derek's mind has been regressed along with his body. Lydia says he was scared out of his mind. They figure out that Derek would try to go home, to Hale House, because he wouldn't remember the fire because from his perspective it wouldn't have happened yet.
After checking the house they don't see him so Julia mentions the sheriff station so they head there. As they show up the Sheriff tells Parrish and Haigh that he will handle this case.
He motions for the three to follow him into his office, "I want you three be honest with me. Absolutely and completely honest. Have you been time traveling?" Noah asks them and Julia laughs, "Because if time traveling is real, you know what? I'm done. I'm out. You're going to be driving me to Eichen house."
"I wish but we found him like that." She tells him.
"Where, swimming in the fountain of youth?"
"No. We found him buried in a tomb of wolfsbane in an Aztec temple in Mexico underneath a church in the middle of a town that was destroyed by an earthquake." Stiles explains.
"You told me you were camping!"
"Yeah, we were... It was in Mexico." Stiles adds while Julia laughs.
"Hey, you lied to me too missy." Noah gives her a look so she stops.
Just because her and Stiles were having their moments, it didn't mean Julia spent less time around Noah. He was basically her dad at this point like Melissa was her mom.
Scott explains that Derek has been aged backwards and can't remember anything. So Noah agrees to let the three talk to him. Derek was wary of Scott and Stiles so Julia explains that there was an accident and Derek lost some memory but that they can help him get it back.
Scott ends up saying there was a fire then hesitates and then lies saying the Hale family is fine but had to move out of Beacon Hills. He promises to take Derek to them as soon as he gets his memory back. Derek agrees but Julia and Scott don't like lying to him. He explains to Stiles that things always go better when they tell the truth. Scott tells Stiles to take Derek to the McCall house and keep him there.
"Yeah, I hate that guy." Stiles meant Peter.
"And Derek, Isaac, the twins, Jackson, and Matt." Julia starts a list to be funny.
"Matt was a killer, the twins proved themselves, Derek is iffy, and Isaac is annoying. And you also hate Jackson." He looks at her.
As they walk into Scott's house they see Agent McCall there with take-out Chinese food. Stiles tries to rush Derek upstairs but Derek is hungry, and Scott's dad is offering food so they all end up at the table.
He asks for Derek's name and Stiles introduces Derek as his cousin Miguel making Julia laugh confusing Derek and Scott's dad. He starts to speak in Spanish making Stiles oh my god and them shock by Derek speaking Spanish too.
"Fantastic, egg roll." Stiles laughs.
While they all eat, Mr. McCall asks for Derek's last name and Stiles says Juarez Cinqua Tiago. Julia groans rolling her eyes as Mr. McCall asks how to spell that so Julia and Derek look at him.
Derek's eyes take notice that Mr. McCall is an FBI agent before asking him about the Hales. He tells him about the Hale fire making Derek glare at Stiles so Julia excuse the three of them.
"How about we go upstairs?" Julia suggests shoving both up the stairs. At Scott's door Derek smashes Stiles head into the door, "Okay, let's not do that. Please." Julia forces Derek to let go of Stiles.
Derek says he wants to talk to Scott so Stiles leaves to call Scoot and Julia follows after telling Derek to wait there and don't move.
Stiles tells Scott on the phone that Derek was fine in his room and that Kate isn't coming only to change it to he's right. Both Julia and Stiles watch her jump from the roof and look they each other before running out to get Lydia.
As they get to the school Lydia looks at Stiles holding his bat, "You seriously need to find something better than a baseball bat."
"At least it's not the wooden one. That one actually works." Julia tells her as they run to meet Peter at the vault.
He tells them they took it while he was blinded explaining that this whole thing was heist to steal $117 million in bearer bonds from his family's safe.
"117 million..." Julia looks at Peter.
-
"Are you really thinking about not playing lacrosse this year?" Julia asks Isaac as they look at others practicing.
"Why should I?" He makes a face.
"Because you're good at it and I need someone to cheer on. You could be my lucky number 14." She tugs on his arm and as she said that Stiles and Scott walked up.
"Oh my god..." Stiles says loudly so they look at him, "Umm Scotts worried about not being Captain." He covers his ass up, "We have 117 million problems, but our status on the lacrosse team isn't one of them."
Julia points over at the goalie not letting any balls pass him. "Sure about that?" All three boys stare at him. "Maybe you three should practice a little bit." She smiles at them and they all run off so Julia leaves the field.
Back in the locker room Stiles confronts Liam about his performance on the field at practice, "Yeah, but not a single shot got passed you." Stiles says.
"Yeah, I was the goalie. You guys played this game before?" He looks at the three older boys. Liam explains that he transferred from Devenford Prep and Scott is listens to his heartbeat and realizes he is lying.
"No, you got kicked out, didn't you." Scott corrects him.
"I came here to play lacrosse. The team could use a few good players right?" Liam says.
"No, we don't need any more good players."
"Actually we could use a couple." Isaac looks at him and Scott agree with a head nod.
Stiles goes on asked how did he get that good then ranting on about the woods and a full moon making Isaac backhand him. "Ouch." He stares at him.
Liam says he learned the game from his stepfather who apparently made Team Captain when he was a sophomore just like Scott. "And yeah, I guess I'm just that good." He grabs his stuff looking at Stiles leaving.
"I like that kid." Isaac smile crossing his arms while Scott tells him he wasn't lying that time as he walks off as well.
Stiles turns to Isaac, "What is going on with you and Julia?"
"Huh?"
"Y'all are cuddling, other stuff, you could be her lucky number 14." He laughs while Isaac stares at him.
"I don't really think it's your business. I don't ask Scott about him and Kira or you with Malia." Isaac leaves him alone.
As Julia walks to math she sees Malia turning to leave, "No no no." She grabs her walking back into class making her sit in front of Stiles. She protests that she doesn't understand why they have to take math. Stiles explains it's so they can figure out the right amount to tip in restaurants.
"And less important things like medicine, economics, engineering." Julia give better examples to her and Lydia agrees.
"Tipping." Stiles smiles.
As Lydia and Malia were at the board Stiles phone goes off and when he read it he looks over at Julia. "What?" She asks so he holds out his phone for her to see it and it read TRIPLE HOMICIDE, DEVELOPING.
After class Stiles tells Scott about the news alerts but Scott said he already knows because Melissa called him earlier. Stiles was ready to leave school to go investigate but Scott reminds him that they had Econ in five minutes.
"All right. Did you forget the part about the family-murdering axe murderer?"
Scott points out that their parents want them to stay out of it while Kira suggests they let the adults handle it.
"So the two of you, you just want to say here. School. Go to class?" Stiles looks at the two, "Never heard anything so irresponsible in my life. Let's go Julia." Stiles grabs her arm dragging her with him.
"See you at tryouts." Scott shouts.
"I don't remember me expressing that I wanted to tag along with you." Julia speaks up as he still drags her.
"Are you serious? You wanna be boring like them?" He turns to her.
"No but don't just assume things." She laughs.
"Oh, like you and Isaac hooking up. You don't want me to assume that as well I'm guessing?"
Julia rolls her eyes, "Why are you being such an asshole? Are you that scared?"
"Scared of what?"
"Getting close, remembering everything? You keep doing everything you can to distance yourself from me. We can try to ignore it but it's impossible. It's not going to get better if we don't work on it together." She tears up, "I just want my best friend back." She leaves him in standing alone in the empty hall alone.
He knew she was right about everything she said. He thought if he wasn't as close to her they would just forget about everything but that wasn't going to work for them. They need to help each other.

-Sometime later-
"Hey Niki what's up with you?" Its been a couple of days since you said Niki can meet up with you dad through you don't really say when. It made him a bit nervous about it. "MC said I'll meet their dad soon...."
"Dad? Oh my? Isn't that quite a move. It means Niki is on the stage of meeting the family~ sigh Niki is gone from my grasp... " Rinne dramatically says.
"Your not helping Rinne." Niki rolled his eyes. He look at the others whos busy on their own thing. He saw Kohaku looking at someone out in the window.
When Niki look at where his looking at, he saw a person standing on the opposite of the street. They don't look anyone familiar.
"Someone you know?"
"... No." Kohaku denied and averted his gaze away from the stranger. He went and enjoy his smoothie. It's after all a break time for the four. "By the way, Niki-han are you going to take the demon with you as your partner?" He heard the topic of those two and wonder about it.
Demons is only rarely given a soul mate but it doesn't mean they can't choice their own life partners, it's just that they don't know if they will be happy till the end with them unlike soul mates that's 100% of the chance of happening.
"Huh..." The gluttony eyes widen by the question and thought about it. "What's the difference does it make? The two of us been living together for a long time now. Isn't that what partners mean if so, we been partners for a long time." He felt his ears heat up from his own words. But there's a smile on his face.
"Not even denying it?! NIKI YOU TRAITOR!" once again Rinne complain with crocodile tears. "Shut up Rinne." -niki.
"Merumeru! Niki is bullying me!"
"Himeru doesn't care Amagi." - Himeru.
">:T" -rinne
Somehow looking at his friends interaction calms his nervousness. It would be fine... After all it's not like it's important if the person approve or not. His just the dad, his not a higher up to place orders.
...
"My adorable daughter ~" a strawberry blonde stranger who's in his 20+ based on the looks and wearing something quite Fabolous and fitting greats you and Niki.
He run toward You and gives you showering kisses in the forehead and cheeks and pinch your cheeks unauthorized! He then hugs you tightly, quite missing you and glad to see you again after running away from home for like a year. What a rebellious child he have!
"How I miss you! You seems feed well, still cute and precious." Your dad pats your head and take his phone to take selfie with you who's frowning the moment he become quite overbearing touchy touchy.>:T
"Smile~ I'm going to send this to your uncles~" he takes photo even without you smiling and send the photo to a family group chat.
"Dad!" You complain after he taken the nth photo. "Your annoying!" You push him off you. "STOP IT!!" but he refuse as he needs to take more photos with his adorable daughter!
"............." Niki was staring at the scene in very confuse and shock look. He knows this person very well, after all how could he not? Your dad is one of the lord of Demon realm. The lord of lust, Asmodeus.
...
"Oh. So when your gone for whole year, you were living with this demon." Asmo look at Niki from head to foot. Analyzing him. "Well, not bad." He nodded complimenting the looks of Niki and physics.
"But how come you don't send letters back home >:T my own daughter is making me worried for a whole year! I almost thought you where the one that get your own heart harvested by Ayase." After approving of the partner of yours his attention went to you again.
"What now..." you were confuse what you heard from him. Isn't that like a Crime?????
"Nothing ~ beside I'm glad your safe and sound. You and your brother all get that attitude of leaving without note from your mom!" He felt quite displeased about such matter. "(◕દ◕) then why do you even make her your wife. " You rolled your eyes at your dad.
"Because I am beautiful and I can get who I want.> :3 " your dad shamelessly says.
"Ye but she left you anyway." Your words is nothing but a punch to his ego.
"...."- Asmo.
".... Your wife have horrible taste for liking someone like you. She should gone with Simon person." You rolled your eyes and did not see that your dad is quite mad at your words. "Cause his more nice than you >:3 and his an angel." You give him a Criminal judgemental look from head to toe. "Ugly."
"you little—(#^ω^)ピキピキ" Asmo. This child of his is quite the one who speak so ill and sarcastic, just like the mom!
Niki can't help but be in a deep thought watching you interact with a higher up. He felt happy to see you not that bad of a relationship with your dad and him approving of him as your partner. But there's something that bugged his heart, he don't understand it.
...
"MC~ you go and get the orders ok?" Asmo winks at you as your forcefully been told to get the orders and leave him with Niki. You tearfully walk to the counter to get the food in hurry, what if that demon seduce Niki >:T!
When your figure is quite far, Asmo wide smile drop as he stared at his child in far distance.
"How much do you like MC?" He ask Niki even through his not looking at him.
"I don't know how much.... but Master makes me smile everytime I talk to her and think about her. " the demon of gluttony stared at you who was nervous when around some other people and trying to get the order with a low tone. "They makes me happy...." He added thinking of the good times.
"Well mc is quite funny but not as comedic as her mom." Asmo stared at Niki. "Usually in such drama sequence like this, parents are supposed to be over protected and all that. I am but I notice you probably won't harm them in non kinky way. Anyway so I would not worry that much.... " The lord of lust wink at Niki chuckle about him knowing something have happened between them.
"If anything, I'll be more curious what will you do if she too... Disappear one day..." His last words almost spoke in a mumble, his eyes shows sadness for a mare seconds.
The demon of gluttony wanted to ask him what he mean by that but you already come back with the food and hugged Niki and glared at Asmo. ">:T you better not seduce my servant." You then take bite of the dish.
"( ᐢᢦᐢ ) free food is good but Niki food is better." You won't mind a free meal especially the money is coming from that hateful demon (Asmo) pocket
"(´・_・`) you really act like Beel and your mom." Asmo was amaze as you eat the dish less than few seconds. " ^ o̴̶̷̥ ̫ o̴̶̷̥᷅ ^ wife don't hopefully cheat on me without me knowing." He thought about it, what if that's the case? Ah but looking at you, clearly your his baby. Your adorable and cuteness can only be taken from HIS genes!
Yet seeing you enjoying the meal, he can't help but joke."(,,•ω•,,و(و⁾⁾cause I think it's unfair I don't join in the fun~ I mean a 3P—"
">:((" you frown at him as you heard this unfunny joke from him more than once. " You should be alarm. This great mc will dethroned you one day, you and your Stupids jokes." You told him as you three left the establishment.
"Ah? Ahahaha... How could that be~ aren't you an inexperienced little imp just a few days ago~?ꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*) "Asmo seems to know when it happen. This creepy bastard....
"........( •᷄ὤ•᷅) and you said this great mc need to keep in touch with a creep like you?" - You mumble under your breath.
"Beside I have long told you, you can't.... " Asmo played with the strand of his hair. You rolled your eyes as you heard of this before. "(;¬_¬) because someone is more good looking than me? Sure I heard of that before."
"......₍₍ (ง ˙ω˙)ว ⁾⁾ do you think my children is not beautiful? Ah. Obviously not." He chuckle, you stared at him.
"(´・_・`).... Is it cause of that wife of yours....?" Your worried if your dad is still not over that person. He shouldn't because why should a lord of lust be in such heartbreak in many years to someone who's not even his soul mate? Someone who shouldn't exist those time, sometime ago...?
"( ᵕ ᵕ̩̩ ) who knows?" -asmo. He takes a deep breath and sigh. He look at you and Niki. " (๑ت๑)ノ you two looks so cute. Let's go take a pictures!" He then proceed to take 100 selfies with you two making you frown when you realize his hiding his sadness again.

Hi there!! I saw your requests open so I thought I’d try. May I request a scenario where Isabela is finally free to choose who to love, but then the person she fell for is betrothed to someone else? Basically, just let her experience what it was like in Dolores’ shoes… idk, it’s up to you if you want to make it a happy ending or not. thank you so much, and i hope you consider this
Hello! Let me start this by saying YOUR REQUEST IS PHENOMENAL! I literally had to break it into two parts because it's so long haha, but I fucking loved writing it! I hope you enjoy it too, thank you for your request! ♡

Betrothed to Another pt. 1
Isabela Madrigal x reader
Words: 2.5k
Prompt: Isabela is finally allowed to love who she wants, but fate is cruel and you find yourself betrothed
--
It was finally happening, the life of Isabela's dreams, the one that Tio Bruno promised her started today, she was sure of it. No longer being betrothed to Mariano was the first step, he was a great guy, but she didn't love him and she hated the wedge their betrothal drove between her and Dolores. That didn't matter anymore though, none of it did because she could be whoever she wanted to be now, she could love whoever she wanted. Sprinting to your house to confess her undying love was the next step.
You were her best friend, the only other person who understood exactly who she wanted to be and supported her without question. Many nights had you laid in her bed, fingers running through her dark tresses as she cried about the pressure she was under to maintain her perfect grandchild status. You never told her to defy her grandmothers wishes, to just forget her family and make her own choices, you understood family pressures just as well. Your parents had come from poor families and worked their way to the top, so they knew exactly what it was like to have nothing. Wealth and status was important to them and they wanted nothing more than for you to maintain their standing.
They couldn't go back to being poor and being their only child they wouldn't allow you to fall into that position either, so the pressure for you to marry someone of high stature was very on. It worked out perfectly for Isabela, being part of the Madrigal family meant that there was no one with higher status than her, no one in Encanto at least. You had been busy with your own family problems for the past few days, your dad was sick and no one knew how much time he had left, but they adored the young woman so she was sure they wouldn't mind her impromptu visit. She was sure they'd be over the moon to hear her confession because if maintining status was what they wanted, then she was at the top of the ladder.
She was sure that you'd be estatic to see her and hear what she had to say, the tension between you two was obvious to everyone around you, including yourselves. It was hard to ignore that fact that whenever you two were alone together fits of gut busting laughter turned into seconds of you staring into each others eyes, flickering from orbs to your lips until one of you drew back. She was sure you'd fall right into her, so when she knocked on your door and you looked horrified to see her, she was confused to say the least.
"Hey flor, is everything alright?"
You turned away, looking inside to make sure no one was around before turning back to the woman in front of you and speaking urgently,
"Isa you can't be here right now, you have to go home, please."
Her brows furrowed in confusion as you dismissed her, it wasn't the reaction she'd been expecting.
"But I have to tell you something, what's wrong Y/N? Are your parents okay?"
"They're fine and that's the problem, I'll find you later but please-"
"Y/N, who's at the door?"
"No one mama I thought-"
It was too late, your mom had already spotted Isa standing outside and rushed over.
"Isabela!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around the Madrigal woman and catching her off guard as your usually stoic mother never hugged anyone. "So good to see you, please come in dear, you're just in time."
"Just in time?" the flower powered woman asked, stepping in and observing the grim look on your face as you walked out to your back garden.
She waved at your father, who still looked incredibly ill despite the beaming smile on his usually serious face. She was just about to ask why you and your entire family were acting so strangely when she saw him, the bakers nephew, Joaquin Herrera.
"Hola Joaquin," she greeted the young man kindly, although bewildered to see him. "Fancy seeing you here."
"Good morning Senora Isabela, hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more of me around here. I'm so happy that you've join us for this special occasion," he responded, promping Isabela to give you another strange look.
You refused to meet her eyes, your own orbs trained onto the grass at your feet as your mother pulled your best friend to sit between her and her husband, holding her hand as she watched on.
"Go ahead Joaquin," your fathers gravely voice spoke.
Isabela went stiff as he melted onto one knee and took your left hand gently into his own.
"Y/N L/N," he started. "Ever since the moment I saw you I've thought you were the most beautful woman in Encanto and I've always thought that you were the woman I want to marry-"
Bile rose in the Madrigal woman's throat as he spoke and the grip your mother held on her hand tightened simultaneously with her own, although for very different reasons. The small smile you held on your face to feign happiness may have convinced your parents, but Isabela saw right through you. Every fiber of her being screamed at her to stand up and rip you away from him, but your mothers steadily tightening grip reminded her exactly why she couldn't.
"-Will you do me the honor of becoming Y/N Herrera? Will you marry me?"
There was no emotion behind your eyes as you nodded, allowing him to slip the engagement ring onto your finger. You hardly moved as he scooped you up in his arms and pressed a kiss onto your lips, the tears rolling down your cheeks could easily be mistaken for tears of joy, but Isabela knew better. He wiped your tears away, his calloused hands were rough against your supple skin and when he placed you back down your parents stood to wrap the two of you into a teaful embrace.
"This will be so good for us, we're so proud of you Y/N."
You smiled at them despite the pain and unhappiness you felt, you were doing what they always wanted, you were finally making them proud. You'd never seen your father cry before, the man hardly expressed anything other than indifference, so to see him crying because he was proud of you warmed your heart in spite your agony. You stopped in front of Isa as Joaquin pulled you towards the front of the house, babbling on excitedly about telling everyone.
"We'll talk later I promise," you whispered before being pulled away by your new fiance.
--
The news of your engagement spread like wildfire as that idiot ran through the plaza screaming 'she said yes' in a way that was so cliche that Isabela's eyes rolled to the back of her head. How could he possibly say he loved you when he couldn't even see how uncomfortable you were with all of this, it was written all over your face how unhappy you were. That jackass didn't love you, he was just happy that someone like him got lucky enough to marry someone as amazing as you. The harrowing expression on your face, like you couldn't process what was happening to you, while he screamed at the top of his lungs happy as could be shattered her to her very core. She did smile just a little bit as a rose sprouted up from the ground, tripping and sending him flying into the fountain, who could've made that happen.
You made direct eye contact with her, grim expression lifting for just a second as your fiance landed in the water. You plucked the flower from the ground quickly and placed it behind your ear as the stem disappeared, looking at her you shared one of those moments again, one of those moments where the rest of the world faded away and it was just you two. She thought for a second that maybe this could still work, but as if remembering the reality of your situation, your face fell back into its blank expression and you rushed to help Joaquin out of the fountain, snuffing out the last embers of hope Isabela had. She trudged home, going straight to the kitchen and resting her head on her mothers shoulder as she flipped arepas.
"Hola mi amor," Julieta hummed, placing her free hand over her daughters hair and kissing the side of her face. "Are you alright?"
Her eldest didn't respond, too heartbroken to speak, she only shook her head against her mothers shoulder, promting the woman to turn around and cup her daughters cheeks.
"What happened corazon?" she frowned, thumbs stroking Isabela's face lightly as tears fell from her eyes.
She threw her arms around her mother, buring her face into her neck and letting her shoulders go slack as she cried.
"I went to Y/N's house to tell them, but when I got there Joaquin Herrera was already there and," she let out a sob. "He proposed, they're engaged mama."
Julieta's heart broke as she rubbed small circles into her daughters back, holding her tightly as her shoulders bounced in time with her sobs. Of course Julieta knew of her daughters crush on you, she was her mother and she knew everything there was to know about her. What kind of mom would she be if she didn't realize something as obvious as the way everyone's eyes were always on Isabela, but her's always searching for you. How could she say she knew her daughter if she didn't notice the way a deep blush spread across her cheeks whenever you neared and especially when you touched her. Julieta knew of your parents standards, but she also knew what an amazing person you were and it hurt her deeply that you were being forced into a situation that not only left you, but her daughter as well, unhappy. You were like one of her own children and if she could march up to your parents and demand that they let you out of this marriage, she absolutely would, but she couldn't, it wasn't her place.
"I'm so sorry mi bebe," she mumbled, lips against her daughters hair as she spoke. "What are you going to do?"
"What can I do mom? I watched him propose, it's too late," Isa sniffled against her mothers neck.
"It isn't too late to tell them how you feel Isabela, maybe they'll change their min-"
"They won't mama. They can't say no to their family just like I couldn't, they care too much about making them proud. Senor L/N doesn't have much time left and Y/N knows how much seeing them with someone who can take care of them when he's gone means to him. They chose him, not me and Y/N won't choose me either. It's called karma mami, I put Dolores through this for months and the universe is paying me back for it," she didn't think she'd ever forgive herself for almost marrying him despite knowing her cousins feelings.
"You did not put Dolores through anything Isabela, don't say anything that ridiculous again. You are a selfless woman with an amazing heart who was pushed into a marriage you didn't want, but didn't you think had a say in either and you were willing to sacrifice your happiness for the sake of the family anyway. You weren't happy either and if you-."
"Isabela! Y/N is here!" Camilo called from the front door.
She looked up at her mother, who gave her a nod of encouragment, squeezing her daughter one last time before she went to the door where you waited outside.
"Hey, I came to talk," you spoke meekly, fidgeting with the engagement ring that was heavy on your finger.
"Not too busy being dragged around by your fiance?" she asked, sounding more harsh than intended.
"Well, my fiance had an incident concerning the fountain so he's cleaning up at his place, but if you'd rather me leave-"
"Come inside, we'll talk in my room."
"Hey Y/N congratulations on your engagement by the way!" Camilo announced, earning a glare from his cousin and a quiet thank you from you.
The air was so thick with tension as you walked to Isabela's room that you couldn't breathe by the time you got into her bedroom. She rushed forward, wrapping her arms around you in a tight hug as your legs gave out beneath you, emotional destress taking it's toll on your body as you finally dropped your facade.
"It's okay, let it out," she mumbled softly , stroking your hair in the way you'd done for her many times. "I'm so sorry."
When you were finally able to stand on your own she was surprised to find that you weren't crying, you only had this blank look behind your eyes like you'd already resigned yourself to what was happening.
"I always knew this was coming, that I'd be married off if I didn't find someone soon, but I thought I'd have someone before the day came. I guess I waited too long."
"Y/N I-"
"My parents have had Joaquin picked out for me since the day they met him, they were always telling me about what a great man he is, about how hardworking he is and how he'd make an amazing husband. He reminds them of the late nights and early mornings, of success and hardships, he makes them feel safe. It makes them happy that I'll be with someone who will always work hard to make sure I have the things I want and need. It puts them at ease to think that I'll be happy for the rest of my life, if I never want for anything, then I have to be happy right?"
Your eyes steadily became glazed over with tears as you spoke, but you refused to cry, each word was a blow to the woman in front of you.
"I'll have everything I could ever desire, so I should be happy to be marrying him. My parents just want me to be okay after their gone, I should be grateful that they care so much. I'm not though, I'm so angry and sad and I feel horrible about it. He kissed me, we haven't even dated and he thought it was okay to kiss me Isabela. Considering the circumstances I guess it was okay but I didn't want it. I don't think he's a bad guy, but I don't love him and I don't want to spend the rest of my life with him," you laughed dryly, realizing that you were complaining in vain, you didn't have a choice. "My life ends with this marriage and I don't even get a say. I-" you stopped, she could hate you for this confession, but you had nothing else to lose so you swallowed your nerves and spoke clearly. "I love you, Isa."
--
Dun Dun DUNNNNNN I leave it there, but part 2 will be up soon! The irony of it all! I really didn't want to split this into two parts, but it's so long that I didn't have a choice. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did writing it!
Have a great day/night! ♡

Y/N L/N AND THE HALFBLOODS
Percy Jackson X Reader
-Y/N L/N met Percy Jackson and everything is now ruined.
Chapter 22: Then It Ended
As soon as we came, Annabeth ang Grover tackled me. We were the first heroes to return alive to Half-Blood Hill since Luke, so of course everybody treated us as if we'd won some reality-TV contest. According to camp tradition, we wore laurel wreaths to a big feast prepared in our honor, then led a procession down to the bonfire, where we got to burn the burial shrouds our cabins had made for us in our absence.
Annabeth's shroud was so beautiful—gray silk with embroidered owls— Percy told her it seemed a shame not to bury her in it. She punched him and told him to shut up. Percy being the son of Poseidon, he didn't have any cabin mates, so the Ares cabin had volunteered to make his shroud. They'd taken an old bedsheet and painted smiley faces with X'ed-out eyes around the border, and the word LOSER painted really big in the middle.
As I was still unclaimed, Hermes cabin had made me one. (Just... IDK go crazy with your shroud IG) It was fun to burn. As Apollo's cabin led the sing-along and passed out s'mores, Percy and I was surrounded by my Hermes cabinmates, Annabeth's friends from Athena, and Grover's satyr buddies, who were admiring the brand-new searcher's license he'd received from the Council of Cloven Elders. The council had called Grover's performance on the quest "Brave to the point of indigestion. Horns-and-whiskers above anything we have seen in the past." The only ones not in a party mood were Clarisse and her cabinmates, whose poisonous looks told me they'd never forgive us for disgracing their dad. That was okay with me. Even Dionysus's welcome-home speech wasn't enough to dampen my spirits. "Yes, yes, so the little brats didn't get themselves killed and now they'll have an even bigger head. Well, huzzah for that. In other announcements, there will be no canoe races this Saturday...." Going back to the cabin I finally had time to talk to Luke. Who just expressed his relief of me being fine, and how he was scared when Annabeth told everyone about me. No wonder everyone was so shocked seeing me come back with Percy. On the Fourth of July, the whole camp gathered at the beach for a fireworks display by cabin nine. Being Hephaestus's kids, they weren't going to settle for a few lame red-white-and-blue explosions. They'd anchored a barge offshore and loaded it with rockets the size of Patriot missiles. According to Annabeth, who'd seen the show before, the blasts would be sequenced so tightly they'd look like frames of animation across the sky. The finale was supposed to be a couple of hundred-foot-tall Spartan warriors who would crackle to life above the ocean, fight a battle, then explode into a million colors. As Annabeth, Percy and I were spreading a picnic blanket, Grover showed up to tell us good-bye. He was dressed in his usual jeans and T-shirt and sneakers, but in the last few weeks he'd started to look older, almost high-school age. His goatee had gotten thicker. He'd put on weight. His horns had grown at least an inch, so he now had to wear his rasta cap all the time to pass as human. "I'm off," he said. "I just came to say ... well, you know." I tried to feel happy for him. After all, it wasn't every day a satyr got permission to go look for the great god Pan. But it was hard saying good-bye. I'd only known Grover a year, yet he was my oldest friend. Annabeth and I gave him a hug. She told him to keep his fake feet on. I asked him where he was going to search first. "Kind of a secret," he said, looking embarrassed. "I wish you could come with me, guys, but humans and Pan ..." "We understand," Annabeth said. "You got enough tin cans for the trip?" "Yeah." "And you remembered your reed pipes?" "Jeez, Annabeth," he grumbled. "You're like an old mama goat." But he didn't really sound annoyed. He gripped his walking stick and slung a backpack over his shoulder. He looked like any hitchhiker you might see on an American highway. "Well," he said, "wish me luck." He gave Annabeth and I another hug. He clapped Percy on the shoulder, then headed back through the dunes. Fireworks exploded to life overhead: Hercules killing the Nemean lion, Artemis chasing the boar, George Washington (who, by the way, was a son of Athena) crossing the Delaware. "Hey, Grover," Percy called. He turned at the edge of the woods. "Wherever you're going—I hope they make good enchiladas." Grover grinned, and then he was gone, the trees closing around him. "We'll see him again," Annabeth said. July passed. I spent my daysplanning out strategies with Luke for capture-the-flag and making alliances with the other cabins to keep the banner out of Ares's hands. I got to the top of the climbing wall for the first time without getting scorched by lava. From time to time, Percy and I would walk past the Big House, he'd glance up at the attic windows, and think about the Oracle.
I tried to convince him that its prophecy had come to completion. "You shall go west, and face the god who has turned." "Been there, done that—even though the traitor god had turned out to be Ares rather than Hades." "You shall find what was stolen, and see it safe returned." "Check. One master bolt delivered. One helm of darkness back on Hades." "You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend." Percy recited. "Ares had pretended to be our friend, then betrayed us. That must be what the Oracle meant.... Or maybe Nereid?"
"And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end." He sighed. "I had failed to save my mom and lost you..."
"So why are you still uneasy?" The last night of the summer session came all too quickly. The campers had one last meal together. We burned part of our dinner for the gods. At the bonfire, the senior counselors awarded the end-of-summer beads. Percy and I got our own leather necklace, and when I saw the bead for my first summer. The design was pitch black, with a sea-green trident shimmering in the center.
"This is so beautiful..." I smiled to Percy. "The choice was unanimous," Luke announced. "This bead commemorates the first Son of the Sea God at this camp, and the quest he undertook into the darkest part of the Underworld to stop a war!" The entire camp got to their feet and cheered. Even Ares's cabin felt obliged to stand. Athena's cabin steered Annabeth to the front so she could share in the applause. I'm not sure I'd ever felt as happy or sad as I did at that moment. I'd finally found a family, people who cared about me and thought I'd done something right. And in the morning, most of them would be leaving for the year. * * * The next morning, Luke called me. He gave me a paper, telling me to fill it out, and asked me to meet him as soon as I could. I knew Dionysus must've filled it out, because he stubbornly insisted on getting my name wrong: Dear (WRONG NAME) , If you intend to stay at Camp Half-Blood year-round, you must inform the Big House by noon today. If you do not announce your intentions, we will assume you have vacated your cabin or died a horrible death. Cleaning harpies will begin work at sundown. They will be authorized to eat any unregistered campers. All personal articles left behind will be incinerated in the lava pit. Have a nice day! Mr. D (Dionysus) Camp Director, Olympian Council #12 That's another thing about ADHD. Deadlines just aren't real to me until I'm staring one in the face. Summer was over, and I still don't know what to do. I had no where to go to. The only option I had was Percy's or maybe Hades was not joking about inviting me back to the Underworld. Sighing I decided to just meet Luke before filling it for second opinions. The campgrounds were mostly deserted, shimmering in the August heat. All the campers were in their cabins packing up, or running around with brooms and mops, getting ready for final inspection. Argus was helping some of the Aphrodite kids haul their Gucci suitcases and makeup kits over the hill, where the camp's shuttle bus would be waiting to take them to the airport. I was walking around looking for Luke. I jumped when I felt someone tap me from behind. I instinctively unsheathed my knife and turned only to see Luke with his hands raised.
"Whoa! Calm down just me." He laughed.
"Kinda weird seeing someone laugh at a knife pointed at them." I smirked sheathing my knife.
"I only laugh since its you." He smiled and ruffled my hair. "Are you done with everything?"
"Not really. I don't know whether to leave or not yet. That's why I came. Help me?" I asked him.
He turned to me and to the forest. "How about you hear me out about something... important and private... then decide?" He gestured towards the forest.
"Not planning on killing me are you?" I squinted at him.
He gasped. "Not you. Never. I would never hurt you."
I let him lead me to a shrouded area of the forest.
"How serious is this thing that you can't let anyone see? I am blindly trusting you here Luke." I laughed nervously. But when he didn't reply I felt something was off. "Luke, okay this isn't cool. How deep into the forest do we have to go?"
"Y/N remember when you said... You want to be the person I trust...? How you promised to help me?"
"Luke?" He took my hand and pulled me sharply. I winced at how hard he pulled me. "That hurts! Let me go!"
He snapped back and let go of my wrist. "I-I'm sorry... Y/N..."
As much as I knew I had to leave, I couldn't I was worried about him. I reluctantly placed a hand on his shoulder. "What's happening?"
"I did it..." I said and sat on the ground. "I swear I didn't mean to get you hurt. But, I confess to everything. I stole bolt and helm, I summoned the hound, I gave Percy the cursed shoes... And just now, I tried to kill Percy Jackson." He looked at me with empty eyes.
I shot up and looked at him in emotions I couldn't put in words. "W-Wh---" I wanted to leave and check on Percy. But once again, seeing him right now... I need to stay with him. "Why are you telling me this...?"
"Join me... please?" his voice was weak. He sounded vulnerable. "Let's serve my Lord together..."
"L-Luke... no. I-I can't do that!" I took his shoulder, "Y-You should stay with me instead. How about that, huh? L-Let's explain to Chiron and the others... come on please. I could help you!"
Nothing was working.
"Come with me..." He muttered.
"Luke, I won't join you. You have to change your mind. You can't do this."
"I can't change my mind."
"I can help you with that? How about you go with me huh? I could spend all my time doing this and that. Please, just change your mind."
He didn't reply for a while until he whispered, "Promise me."
"Promise you what?"
"You'll stay with me."
"What? Luke I wo--"
"You won't join... Just...don't stay here for the year... and stay with me."
"I-If I stay with you... what would that mean?"
"Yo-You... might change my mind."
"I'll go." I replied with no hesitation. "I'll leave camp for the year. And I'll find my parent to prove to you that Gods and Goddess aren't all bad. We'll find my parent together."
"I do my lord's bidding--"
"You can still do it. If you want to. But whatever happens... stays only between us. I'll stay with you until I change your mind. And I'll bring you back to camp."
"I would never do anything to ruin your trust in me." He knelt down. It was kinda awkward but hey... "I need you."
Worry not hero. We shall stay.
"Please..."
We'll meet again. Wait for us, we shall join you soon. Now leave.
I had no idea what happened since when I came to Luke was gone and there was no sign of him anywhere. How were we going to st---
We will meet him once we leave. Now go as our hero needs us.
I suddenly remembered Percy's state that Luke had told me about. So I ran. I ran to the Big House
***
Percy finally opened his eyes. He was propped up in bed in the sickroom of the Big House, his right hand bandaged like a club. Argus stood guard in the corner. Annabeth and I sat next to Percy, I was holding his nectar glass and she was dabbing a washcloth on his forehead.
"Here we are again," Percy said. "You idiot," Annabeth said, "You were green and turning gray when we found you. If it weren't for Chiron's healing..." "Now, now," Chiron's voice said. "Percy's constitution deserves some of the credit." He was sitting near the foot of the bed in human form. His lower half was magically compacted into the wheelchair, his upper half dressed in a coat and tie. He smiled, but his face looked weary and pale, the way it did when he'd been up all night grading Latin papers. "How are you feeling?" he asked. "Like my insides have been frozen, then microwaved." "Apt, considering that was pit scorpion venom. Now you must tell me, if you can, exactly what happened." Between sips of nectar, he told them the story.
I bit my lip trying to keep what happened between Luke and I private. It was a risky move that would not be approved by anyone after all. The room was quiet for a long time. "I can't believe that Luke..." Annabeth's voice faltered. Her expression turned angry and sad. "Yes. Yes, I can believe it. May the gods curse him.... He was never the same after his quest."
Percy was looking at me as if checking what was my reaction to his story. "This must be reported to Olympus," Chiron murmured. "I will go at once." "Luke is out there right now," Percy said. "I have to go after him." Chiron shook his head. "No, Percy. The gods—" "Won't even talk about Kronos," Percy snapped. "Zeus declared the matter closed!" "Percy, I know this is hard. But you must not rush out for vengeance. You aren't ready." "Chiron... your prophecy from the Oracle... it was about Kronos, wasn't it? Was I in it? Y/N? And Annabeth?" Chiron glanced nervously at the ceiling. "Percy, it isn't my place—" "You've been ordered not to talk to me about it, haven't you?" His eyes were sympathetic, but sad. "You will be a great hero, child. I will do my best to prepare you. But if I'm right about the path ahead of you..." Thunder boomed overhead, rattling the windows. "All right!" Chiron shouted. "Fine!" He sighed in frustration. "The gods have their reasons, Percy. Knowing too much of your future is never a good thing." "We can't just sit back and do nothing," He said. "We will not sit back," Chiron promised. "But you must be careful. Kronos wants you to come unraveled. He wants your life disrupted, your thoughts clouded with fear and anger. Do not give him what he wants. Train patiently. Your time will come." "Assuming I live that long." Chiron put his hand on Percy's ankle. "You'll have to trust me, Percy. You will live. But first you must decide your path for the coming year. I cannot tell you the right choice...." I got the feeling that he had a very definite opinion, and it was taking all his willpower not to advise me. "But you must decide whether to stay at Camp Half-Blood year-round, or return to the mortal world for seventh grade and be a summer camper. Think on that. When I get back from Olympus, you must tell me your decision." "I'll be back as soon as I can," Chiron promised. "Argus will watch over you." He glanced at Annabeth. "Oh, and, my dear... whenever you're ready, they're here." "Who's here?" Percy asked. Nobody answered. Chiron rolled himself out of the room. I heard the wheels of his chair clunk carefully down the front steps, two at a time. Annabeth studied the floor. "What's wrong?" Percy asked her. "Nothing. I ... just took your advice about something. You ... um ... need anything?" "Yeah. Help me up. I want to go outside." "Percy, that isn't a good idea." Percy slid his legs out of bed. Annabeth and I caught him before he could crumple to the floor.
I said, "I told you ..." "I'm fine," He insisted.
He managed a step forward. Then another, still leaning heavily on me. Argus followed us outside, but he kept his distance. By the time we reached the porch, his face was beaded with sweat. But we had managed to make it all the way to the railing. It was dusk. The camp looked completely deserted. The cabins were dark and the volleyball pit silent. No canoes cut the surface of the lake. Beyond the woods and the strawberry fields, the Long Island Sound glittered in the last light of the sun. "What are you going to do?" Annabeth asked us. "I don't know." Percy replied. "I got the feeling Chiron wanted me to stay year-round, to put in more individual training time, but I'm not sure that's what I want. I also don't want to leave you both with Clarisse only." Annabeth pursed her lips, then said quietly, "I'm going home for the year, Percy." He stared at her. "You mean, to your dad's?" She pointed toward the crest of Half-Blood Hill. Next to Thalia's pine tree, at the very edge of the camp's magical boundaries, a family stood silhouetted—two little children, a woman, and a tall man with blond hair. They seemed to be waiting. The man was holding a backpack that looked like the one Annabeth had gotten from Waterland in Denver. "I wrote him a letter when we got back," Annabeth said. "Just like you suggested. I told him... I was sorry. I'd come home for the school year if he still wanted me. He wrote back immediately. We decided... we'd give it another try." "That took guts." She pursed her lips. "You won't try anything stupid during the school year, will you? At least ... not without sending me an Iris-message? Both of you?" Percy managed a smile. "I won't go looking for trouble. I usually don't have to."
"You already know my plans."
"When I get back next summer," she said, "we'll hunt down Luke. We'll ask for a quest, but if we don't get approval, we'll sneak off and do it anyway. Agreed?" "Sounds like a plan worthy of Athena."
She held out her hand. Percy shook it. She gave me a hug. "Take care, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth told Percy. "Keep your eyes open."
"You too, Wise Girl."
Then turned to me, "Good luck on your own quest Droopy."
"Of course Peabody." We watched her walk up the hill and join her family. She gave her father an awkward hug and looked back at the valley one last time. She touched Thalia's pine tree, then allowed herself to be lead over the crest and into the mortal world. "I made my decision." Percy said. "What's yours?"
"I'll be leaving camp... I'm going to look for my parent..." He looked at me in shock. "I'll be back next summer," I promised him. "I'll survive until then."
"Alone?"
I smiled at him.
"Don't you want to stay with us? Mom said---"
"I want to find my parent. I need to. I'll be fine Percy."
I helped Percy to his cabin so he could pack and went to mine. To my surprise I see a middle-aged man with an athletic figure slim and fit with salt-and-pepper hair, and a very familiar sly grin. He had bags at his foot.
"Delivery for Y/N L/N."
"Uhm..."
"Hermes." He said.
I froze and looked at him with wide eyes.
"Personally packed. As a thank you for what you're about to do." He smiled softly and handed me the bags.
"H-Huh...?"
"For helping Luke."
"I..."
Don't forget her mail!
Ooh! And tell her to bring us snacks next time we meet since it'll be often now!
No it wouldn't be often! She'll be with Luke!
"Both of you keep quiet." Pulling out a mail he handed it to me. "Luke... prayed to me telling me about your plan. He asked me to help you. I don't know what or why he did it. But I know he'll change thanks to you. So do guide him."
"Sorry you lost me at the talking air..." I blinked.
Hermes laughed and showed a caduceus. "It's just George and Martha."
"Hi?"
Hello!
Hi
"I just wanted to let you know. No god or goddess could see you. No matter how hard they tried. So your secrets.. are really secrets. Good luck on your travel."
Next time we meet you should have snacks.
Then he vanished.
Staring at the letter on my hand, I was stunned seeing it was from... my mom and dad.
Sweetie,
You've made quite a friend here.
-Mom and Dad.
I immediately knew where to look. I hurriedly took my bags not bothering to check the contents. I ran to Percy's cabin and helped him out so we could leave.
Percy got a cab and looked at me worriedly.
"I'll write you. Stay safe Arthur Curry." I ruffled his hair and watched him go.
I didn't know where to go so I just went to the first secluded area I saw.
"You have more stuffs than when you arrived." I heard someone behind me.
"You prayed to your dad. I hope he knows how to pack." I sighed turning to him. Turning around I barely made out Luke from the few days I last saw him. "You okay?"
"Do you know where to look first?"
Call upon our hound.
I whistled, I don't know why. But when I did, D/N came out of the blue. Luke looked at me and my dear dog, who was probably bigger than the hound he'd summon back then. "How do feel about L.A?" I said riding on D/N and making space behind me for Luke.

Reggie//i can't let you go now that i got it
Request: your last reggie mantle imagine was soooooo cute it was.... BIG FAV i'm still grinning! could you please do one where reader and reggie have been best friends their whole lives? she's super protective and sweet to him and like? she's been in love for years but has been hiding it well?? she gets him to come away with her to college because 'screw this town' and they live together? but eventually she starts going on dates and it makes him realize he's in love with her too?? mutual love confession
hey! so before you go any further trigger warning mentions of abuse, specifically around reggie and his dad. it’s not in detail but it is mentioned a few times so don’t read if that upsets you. the last thing i want you to be is sad. i hope you all have a good day anyway, whether you’re reading this or not! (title is from Børns ‘electric love’)
- For 18 years
- Reggie Mantle has been the only constant in your life
- Even when you were babies he was there
- Your mom’s sat beside each other in baby class, cooing and awing over each other’s kids
- All while 6 month old you stole 6 month old Reggie’s toy
- And then he cried so hard he vomited on not only himself but you as well
- Which then made you cry even louder
- And then your mom’s were asked to leave
- So instead
- It became a weekly thing for your mom to take you to The Mantle’s
- While her and Mrs Mantle gossiped and drank tea
- You and Reggie would hit each other with various stuffed toys.
- As you got older
- The weekly visits turned into daily ones
- Especially when you moved three houses away from him
- You and Reggie started to see each other more than your own parents did
- Your mom still went over once a week
- But when she arrived you were always usually there
- Either stood in the kitchen getting a snack
- Or lying on Reggie’s bed watching an awful movie he just ‘had to show you’
- They usually involved a hybrid of two animals
- Sometimes mythical, sometimes not
- But in all of them they were usually taking over the world
- They also always had the same four actors in
- But despite how much you protested
- ‘reggie? are you being serious? we watched this one last time.’
- ‘no, we watched molemaid last time. this is medusamaid. they’re completely different’
- ‘oh, sorry. my mistake’
- You actually secretly loved them
- Because they made him happy
- You would watch in awe as he laughed at stupid jokes
- And how his eyes would always light up at a particularly gruesome part, no matter how badly CGI’d it was
- You also listened to the countless of theories as to how ‘hurrik9’ is clearly the prequel to ‘hellhounds’ because ‘they’ve got the same main character! it doesn’t matter if they’re not played by the same person. y/n, they’ve got the same name.’
- You also listened to him complain about the inconsistencies between ‘werewombats 1’ and ‘werewombats 2’
- ‘no matter how much the director stands by the decision to make them turn on each other, despite the first film clearly stating that that’s the last thing they’d do.’
- But the thing you loved the most about it
- Was that he was only ever this way with you
- You’d been sworn to secrecy when you walked in on him watching ‘dinocano vs uniquake’
- And you promised never to tell anyone about his secret passion
- Or the fact that he had a stack of notebooks filled with plots and mini scripts for his own films.
- Reggie may have gotten popular
- But to you, he’s still the same Reggie you’ve always known.
- Whose scared of clowns but won’t admit it
- And cried when watching Edward Scissorhands but if anybody asks it was you
- And who hates hot chocolate, but its the only thing he’ll drink when he’s sick
- He also only eats pink marshmallows in months ending in R
- And white ones every other month
- But in December he has both...because its Christmas.
- Yeah, you and Reggie are best friends
- Always have been, always will
- But it doesn’t stop you from wanting more.
- It doesn’t stop the longing looks when you think no one is watching
- Or the lingering touches whenever he hugs you
- It doesn’t stop your heartbeat picking up whenever he walks into a room
- Or how you forget how to breathe whenever he looks at you
- You look forward to everyday, even if you have a pop quiz or homework you only remembered the night before
- Because he’s going to be there to make you smile
- Even if he isn’t doing it on purpose
- You look forward to the countless of texts he sends
- No matter how weird or ridiculous
- Like when he text you at half three in the morning to ask if birds were real because somebody told him they weren’t.
- You then got a text straight afterwards telling you that it would be great idea for a plot
- And you still answer every single one
- No matter how stupid they are
- It’s really a wonder how you get any sleep with your phone being on loud all the time
- But it’s worth it
- Especially when you get texts like
- ‘he’s done it again’
- Reggie’s relationship with his father complicated to say the least
- You remember when you were younger they used to be best friends
- Reggie idolized him
- And you’d have conversations in Reggie’s tree house, about how much he wanted to be just like his dad when he grew up
- But when he did grow up
- And started to develop a personality that didn’t just revolve around football
- Reggie no longer wanted to be just like his dad
- He wanted to be the furthest thing from him
- The first time it happened
- Reggie tried his hardest to hide it from you
- And for the first time in 8 years
- You went two days without seeing each other
- On the third day though
- You’d had enough
- So you went round to see him
- But when you asked his mom if he was in
- She lied and told you he had just gone out
- Even though you could clearly see him trying and failing to hide on the stairs
- So you did what any normal friend would do
- You climbed through his bedroom window
- With about as much grace and steal as you could muster
- Which surprisingly, wasn’t a lot
- And you gave him the fright of his life
- ‘what the hell are you doing here?’
- ‘you’re avoiding me’
- ‘i’m not. i’ve just been...busy’
- ‘doing what? fighting?’
- ‘what?’
- ‘your eye’
- ‘oh yeah...that’
- That was when you knew something was wrong
- You’ve known Reggie your entire laugh
- And you know the three things he’ll always boast about
- Girls, football and fighting
- ‘what happened?’
- When he told you
- You couldn’t believe what he was saying
- You wanted to find Marty Mantle and give him a black eye...see how he likes it
- But Reggie begged you not to do or say anything
- ‘it’ll only make it worse’
- ‘but its wrong. he should be locked up’
- ‘who’s going to believe me?’
- ‘me’
- ‘see...it was only one time anyway’
- So you agreed, reluctantly
- And you so wanted to believe it
- But then a few weeks later he turned up to school with a bust lip
- A month after that another bruise around his eye that he tried to hide behind sunglasses
- And by the time graduation rolled around
- Both of you had lost count of the sunglasses and excuses
- For three years he’d been trapped in a house with a father who thought hitting was the same as love
- And a mother who pretended it didn’t happen
- But now college was round the corner and that meant a chance for both of you
- Or at least thats what you thought
- ‘you didn’t get in?’
- ‘i didn’t get in.’
- ‘to any of them?’
- ‘nope’
- ‘reggi-’
- ‘it’s fine. my dad has always wanted me to work for him. i guess this will make him happy. even if i am the cleaner’
- ‘reg-’
- ‘please go’
- That summer was the longest one of your life
- It was even longer that the time Reggie had to get his appendix out and so you couldn’t hang out for a 3 weeks.
- For two and a half months
- You heard nothing from Reggie
- You text, called, DM’d and even E-mailed
- But you got nothing
- You went round at all times of the day to try and talk to him
- And every time Mrs Mantle answered and told you he was either out or busy
- Doing homework was her favourite excuse
- And Reggie has only ever done homework when you were doing the majority of it
- You even tried climbing in through his window again
- But he locked it
- So you watched every morning as he dragged himself into his dad’s car
- Wearing a stiff suit and a miserable expression
- No matter how hard you tried to get to him before the left
- How fast you ran or how early you got to his house
- They were always long gone before you managed to get anywhere close to him
- You missed the midnight texts about nothing
- You missed his stupid jokes
- You missed watching an entire room light up whenever he walked in
- You missed the way he made you feel, even if he was unaware of it
- You even missed watching his god-awful movies
- You just missed him
- And when he missed your leaving party
- That was the final straw
- At 7am the next morning
- You shoved the last of your boxes in the back of your car
- Said goodbye to your parents
- And drove away
- Three houses down the street
- Making sure your parents had gone back inside before stopping
- You sat outside for a few minutes
- Trying to think of what to do or say
- You knew his mom would answer the door
- And that you’d get the same excuses
- You also knew from the past few experiences that his window would still be locked
- So you threw rocks at his bedroom window in the hopes that when he’d check to see what it was, he’d leave it unlocked
- And he did!
- You watched from behind a bush as he hung his head out the window to look around
- His brow furrowed and hair messy
- Clearly he’d just woke up
- You couldn’t help the smile twitching at your lips
- You’d missed that face
- Climbing the window was a lot harder than it used to be
- Mr Mantle had taken the ladders away
- Another reason as to why he sucked
- But you managed eventually
- And you almost died only twice
- Which is good
- It’s better than three
- You landed on the carpet with a loud thud that made him jump half way across the room
- ‘y/n. what the hell are you doing here?’
- ‘it’s moving day. and i must say i’m very disappointed at the lack of preparation on your part. have you even started packing yet?’
- ‘it’s not funny y/n’
- ‘i know. do you see me laughing?’
- ‘i’m being serious y/n. just leave’
- ‘no’
- ‘what?’
- ‘the last time you told me to leave, i listened and i didn’t see you for two months, so no’
- ‘what about college’
- ‘what about it?’
- ‘it starts in three days’
- ‘i know. and if we stand here any longer we’re going to miss it. so get packed and lets go. it’s a nine hour drive and i’m not doing all of that alone’
- ‘you know i can’t go’
- ‘says who?’
- ‘my dad, every single college i applied for and me’
- ‘listen to me reggie. you are my best friend, you have been since we were babies. there’s not a part of my life you haven’t been in. do you really think that would stop at college?’
- ‘we didn’t spend the summer together’
- ‘and it was the worst summer of my life’
- ‘same...but that might have been because i was spending 12 hours a day in an office’
- ‘rude. but i’ll take it!’
- ‘i did miss you though. it was weird not seeing your face everyday’
- That makes your cheeks heat up and you have to force the flutter in your chest to go away
- ‘it always cheers me up’
- There it goes again and you want to claw at your chest until it’s no longer there
- Hope is a terrible thing to have when you’ve been in love with your best friend for your entire life
- ‘you always cheer me up’
- Oh dear...
- ‘i love you...a-as a friend. this summer has been the longest and most depressing for both of us. i don’t want to live the rest of my life like that. i need you reggie. so please pack your bags, say screw you to your dad and to this town and lets go’
- ‘what about money? where am i going to live?’
- ‘we’ll figure that out on the way there. just hurry up’
- And he did
- You and Reggie threw the majority of his belongings into any bag you could find
- He took all the money he’d been saving out of the poorly disguised fake plant
- And wrote a nice little note for his parents
- You also may have added a few choice words to it
- But what Reggie doesn’t know won’t hurt him
- And the two of you climbed into your car and never looked back
- The 9 hour car ride was the most fun you’ve ever had
- It was like you were trying to fit the entire summer you’d lost into those few hours
- It was filled with off key singing
- And stories of your summer
- His favourite being about Archie being tricked into going skinny dipping by himself
- You laughed loudly like nothing had happened
- And cried silently because everything had
- Thankfully when you arrived on campus, it was already night
- So you managed to sneak Reggie into your room
- And when you nervously told your roommate
- She just grinned at you
- ‘it’s fine, my boyfriend will probably be staying over a lot too’
- ‘oh, he’s not my boyfriend’
- ‘we’re not together’
- ‘...okay’
- She said with a knowing smile and you and Reggie shared a look
- And a year filled with adventures started
- Reggie got a job as a bartender with a little help from Veronica
- And you started your classes
- But nothing is ever easy
- At least not when it involves you or Reggie
- It turns out hiding a whole human is a lot more difficult that you anticipated.
- It involves Reggie squeezing into your closet
- And a whole team of people to get him to and from the showers
- But it was also difficult for another reason
- Because it was easy to hide your feelings from him when you lived in separate house
- But now you’re sharing a room
- And a bed
- And every time he would wrap his arms around you
- And pull in for a half asleep cuddle
- You’d forget how to breathe
- You’ve never been more excited to wake up
- Because he’d be all messy hair and parted lips with just a little bit of drool coming out of them that it would be cute instead of gross
- And when he said good morning in the same deep, tired voice
- You wanted to live in that feeling forever
- But then 2nd year rolled around and everything changed
- It all started when you moved into your own apartment
- You knew you had to but there was a part of you that hoped you could keep everything the same
- You found a tiny, two bedroom flat that you could both just about afford
- Reggie was so happy to have his own room
- ‘i won’t have to sleep next to you and your freezing cold feet anymore’
- ‘i’ll just sneak into your bed when your fast asleep and put them on you then instead’
- ‘i thought we were supposed to be friends’
- It took a few weeks to get used to an empty bed
- But eventually you started to sleep properly
- And it was quite nice to have your own space again
- It meant you could study without having to listen to ‘nighthawk nightmare’
- Honestly, you don’t really know what the plot of that one is
- But you’ve still seen it 7 times
- You may be in love with him but it doesn’t mean he can’t be annoying sometimes
- And you were happy with going back to admiring from afar
- Your heart can’t get broken that way
- In fact a small part of you thought he felt the same way
- That one glimmer of hope you felt a year ago
- Came back all of sudden
- And soon
- You became aware of the lingering touches
- And the gifts he’d buy you just because
- He also asked what you wanted to watch for your movie night
- And he’s never, ever done that unless you were sad or sick
- And even then, when you broke your arm a few years ago, he chose the film
- The way he looked at you suddenly felt different
- You would feel him staring, but when you would check he would always be scrolling through his phone
- And you’re sure the was a little bit of flirtiness in his tone whenever he spoke to you
- But just because you think you can’t be burnt if you stand far enough away from the fire
- Doesn’t mean that the sparks can’t jump out and get you anyway
- Because all of sudden Reggie started bringing girls home
- And every time you saw a t-shirt that wasn’t yours on the sofa
- Or a pair of shoes discarded by the door
- You felt yourself die a little
- After a few weeks of this
- Something in you snapped
- You’d spent the majority of your life pining after some boy who saw you as nothing more than a friend
- And sometimes a small part of you thought as just an escape route
- So you moped for a few weeks before deciding it was finally time to move on
- Reggie would only ever see you as a friend
- And that’s fine
- The only way to move on, is to move on.
- So you waited for the right guy to move on with
- And there were a few
- But none of them were right
- Until you met Daniel
- Sweet Daniel with curly brown hair and dimples
- Who studied history
- And spent his days sitting in the coffee shop on campus
- For a few weeks the two of you spent your short interactions stealing glances and exchanging shy smiles
- That evolved to small talk with flirty undertones
- Until finally he asked you out
- And you said yes
- And you kept saying yes to each date afterwards
- They were fun too
- He’d take you to museum's and on picnics and at night he’d pick you up and you’d go star gazing
- He would make you laugh when he’d tell you a joke
- And make you blush when he’s whisper in your ear while staring up at the sky
- But he wasn’t him
- And that killed you
- It doesn’t matter how many time he takes you to watch some unknown indie film thats supposed to be the greatest thing ever made
- It has nothing on standing outside the only cinema in town that’s showing ‘sharkcano vs tigerana’ in the freezing cold with Reggie wearing an absolutely ridiculous costumes that Reggie threw together last minute and somehow roped you into wearing too.
- But what hurt even more was watching how Reggie acted around you when you and Daniel started dating
- He looked hurt whenever he saw the two of you together
- And you would watch him roll his eyes whenever you mentioned him
- Until eventually he would just avoid you all together
- Do you know how hard it is to avoid someone when you’re living in the same 2 bedroom flat that barely gives two foot to yourself?
- It’s hard
- But Reggie finds a way
- Eventually you’re more roommates than friends
- And you really don’t know how much more you can take
- You feel like you’re about to break
- And Daniel can see that too
- So on Friday night he invites you to go drinking with him and his friends instead of staying in and moping
- ‘bye, i’m going out’
- ‘wait’
- The speed of which he runs from his room and into the living room where your stood, startles you to say the least
- ‘what?’
- ‘don’t go out with him.’
- ‘why not? what ever george has told you about is a lie. george does that. he once told a bunch of people that you streaked in an old people’s home and almost killed his grandmother’
- ‘because he isn’t me’
- You’ve dreamt of those words
- Built them up in your head for years
- But in all of your daydreams, there’s never been a scenario like this one
- Not one where you’re about to leave to go on a date with another guy
- ‘reggie? what are you talking about?’
- You need to make sure he’s saying what you think he’s saying
- Because you can feel yourself hoping again
- And you know if he doesn’t mean what you want him to
- You don’t think you’ll be able to recover
- ‘i love you y/n. you’re my best friend, you always have been, you always will be and i love you.’
- ‘reg-’
- ‘please tell me you feel the same way’
- ‘i-’
- In your head you had a full oscar worthy speech planned out just in case this ever happened
- But now you’re here in the moment.
- You have no idea what to say
- ‘it doesn’t matter. just leave’
- ‘no’
- ‘what?’
- ‘do you really think i’m going to walk away from you after that? when have i ever walked away from you?’
- ‘i-no’
- ‘i love you too by the way. if you care’
- ‘shut up...wait really?’
- ‘yes i do. i’ve loved you for as long as i can remember so are you going to just stand there or are you going to kiss me?’
- ‘i’m definitely going to kiss you’
- ‘good’
- And he does
- He’s standing in front of you before you can catch your breath
- His hands reach up to cup your cheeks
- His lips part as he stares down at you
- And you’ve never seen him look at anyone the way he’s looking at you
- Like you’re everything good and light in the universe
- And like he’s also been waiting just as long for this moment
- Maybe he has
- Maybe he’s been waiting all his life for this
- He just didn’t know
- You feel whatever breath you had left leave your lungs
- His lips are soft against yours, but he gets his point across
- And you’ve never been happier
- All the heartache and tears
- The laughter and stupid jokes
- The 3am texts
- The constant worrying
- The early mornings and late nights
- The damage to limbs from trying to fit in tiny closets
- And the scrapes on your ankles and bruising on your legs from crawling through his bedroom window
- They’re all worth it
- ‘are you still going on your date?’
- ‘what do you think?’
- ‘good. because they’ve just released werewombats 3’

i wish i were
inspired by conan gray’s “heather”
warnings: stepsibling incest (not yet but that’s the whole premise), underage masturbation, underage sex, angst. peter’s like 16 and a half, Tony’s almost 18
word count: 2.2k
summary: peter’s in love with his big brother. no biggie. (spoiler alert: it’s a big deal)
(A/N: okay this has been living in my head rent free for over a month. i've written more, but it's not fully fleshed out yet.
i figured i would post this and see if anyone is interested in reading it before i put a bunch more effort in lmao. this is filth. most of the angst comes later lololol (and more filth).
i hope you enjoy and please let me know what you think / if you'd like to read more!
- bloo)
PART ONE
Peter stands at his locker, desperately trying to blend in and remain unseen as he switches out his English textbook for Physics. The school year is basically over, given that it’s the last week of May but he’s still not comfortable in the junior-senior hallway. He’s always been the youngest (and therefore smallest) kid in most of his classes, given that he’s been in the ‘gifted & talented’ track since middle school. (He’s on track to graduate next year, taking his last few mandatory classes and completing an internship for additional credit.) This year, Peter feels even smaller than usual; maybe because most of the seniors are already eighteen, while as a sophomore, he isn’t even seventeen. He doesn’t have many friends this year, because of it. Ned moved away last summer because his dad got a new job, and, well, he’d never really needed more than Ned before.
“Hey Pete-squeak,” comes a voice from behind, making him jump. Rolling his eyes, Peter pivots slightly to face the newcomer. The infestation of butterflies that he's been harboring for the past few months begins to flutter immediately, tickling the walls of his stomach as his cheeks flush lightly.
The voice belongs to a tall (or, well, taller than Peter, anyway), ridiculously handsome boy with dark hair and dark eyes, walking towards Peter with his hands in his pockets. The cheeky smirk on his face is all but permanent, but the small, genuine smile it slips into is something that Peter holds close to his chest, something that is typically reserved for him.
Tony, his older brother, is pretty much Peter's favorite person in the world. Technically, he’s Peter’s step brother. Maria, his mom, and Peter’s dad Richard got married when Peter was a year old and Tony was almost three. They’d essentially spent their whole lives together; neither of them could really remember anything before. They’ve always been close, but that’s changed a little bit this year.
“Hey Tony,” Peter chirps, reaching back into his locker to grab his physics binder. He tries to act natural, even though he feels anything but. His heart’s going a mile a minute inside his rib cage. He feels a little ridiculous, he has for the past few months. Swallowing, he manages to sound relatively calm. “You read the last 2 chapters of Beowulf, right? Mrs. Herrera gave us a pop quiz last period.”
The older teen groans. Closing his eyes, he throws his head back, a metallic thunk sounding as it collides with the locker he’s leaning back on. “Fucking hell. The final paper is due in like four fucking days! Is that not enough?” It’s quiet for a moment as Tony pauses before he opens one eye, cutting it to look at Peter. “What were the answers?”
Peter snorts in response, shutting his locker. “Not happening, T.” He pulls his phone out of his pocket to check the time and lets the left side of his body rest against the cool metal. Three minutes til the bell rings, and Mr. Riley’s class is right across the hall. So he’s essentially got three minutes to indulge himself and the fuzzy warmth that’s running through his veins. He loves any time he gets to spend with Tony. “You’re lucky I told you at all, be grateful.”
Tony wrinkles his nose at him. “Rude,” he scoffs in mock offense. “I know you can remember them,” comes his teasing accusation. (And he’s right. Peter can recall the entirety of the quiz, but he’s still not going to enable Tony.) Then he pauses and raises an eyebrow at his younger brother. “Is that my sweatshirt?” The garment in question is a worn and slightly faded black Led Zeppelin USA 1977 crewneck sweatshirt. Peter’s wearing it over a charcoal and white check button-up. The sweatshirt is one of Tony’s favorite pieces of clothing, he wears it all the time (hence why Peter...borrowed it...without asking).
Having mentally prepared himself to be questioned at some point, Peter’s reply is already on the tip of his tongue. “Yeah, it ended up in my laundry and once I put it on it was too cozy to take off. And it looks good with these jeans and the button-up. And my boots. Trying out a new look,” he finishes, smiling as he pushes his glasses further up his nose. Tony often teased him about the thick, clear-but-slightly-pink frames, but Peter hadn’t wanted glasses at all (he doesn’t need any more reasons to be teased, thank you), but he likes these. They make him look cute, more feminine. More like someone Tony could want.
“You’re right,” Tony smiles. One of his hands comes up to playfully ruffle at Peter’s russet hair. “Looks great on you, kid.” There’s warm affection in his voice.
Peter feels his cheeks go hot again, and he wills the flush to go away. He can’t take compliments from Tony, now- they make him ache and preen simultaneously. He knows that Tony doesn’t mean it the way he wants. Peter knows that Tony would never speak to him again if he knew what was really going on inside his little brother’s head. The thought makes him sick to his stomach.
Speaking of stomachs. “Hey,” he starts as he fingers through the papers in his physics binder, attempting to find the problem set that’s due today. “Did you ever catch up on Hell’s Kitchen? I’ve been rewatching episodes trying to wait for you, but you’re taking too long. You saw the episode where Gordon-” Peter’s heart falls to his stomach and he abruptly stops speaking when he looks up to notice that Tony isn’t looking at him anymore, barely seems to be listening.
It falls completely out of his ass when he sees just what, just who, has stolen his attention.
“Sorry, Pete, gotta go,” Tony mutters once he realizes that Peter’s stopped talking, shooting him a hasty smile and shoving off the navy metal. He skirts past Peter, a slight skip in his step as he makes his way down the hallway.
Peter's swallows and clenches his jaw as he watches his brother walk straight to her, the bane of his existence. The reason he and Tony don’t spend as much time together anymore. The object of Tony’s affections. Pepper. She's...everything Peter wishes he could be, honestly. Tall, somehow a perfect mix of skinny & curvy, bright blue eyes, long strawberry-blonde hair. She's perfect. And not only in looks; she's also ridiculously smart. If Tony wasn’t valedictorian, she surely would be. She even volunteers at the local soup kitchen every weekend, and Peter’s pretty sure she reads to dogs at the animal shelter once a month. He hates that Pepper is so nice; he hates that he can't hate her without hating himself for it.
As if he didn't have enough self-loathing already.
***
Peter exits the bathroom that connects his bedroom with Tony’s after gently flicking the lock on his brother’s door to disengage it, the soft ‘snick’ ridiculously loud in the quiet of the house. He’s the only one home; Mom and Dad are at some sort of event for Dad’s law firm, and Tony went to a party at Rhodey’s house. (Tony had insisted that Peter was invited, but he had to know that the younger would never go- why would he want to be surrounded by drunk, horny, belligerent teenagers? The last thing he wanted to see was Tony and- )
There’s a dark gray towel loosely wrapped around his waist, so loose he has to clutch it in his hand to keep it from falling. He closes his own bathroom door behind him and drops the towel, digging through his underwear drawer to pull out a random pair of plaid boxers.
After sliding them on, the brunette takes a deep breath and lays back against the pillows, arms behind his head. He tries to consciously relax his muscles, the tension of the day not having melted away during his shower like he had hoped. Time for Plan B. It’s never let him down before. Peter reaches for his phone and unlocks it before swiping through his apps to open Spotify. The sound of “Dazed and Confused” fills the air through his speakers, and he sets it to repeat on a loop. It’s a little fucked up, the way he’s conditioned himself to respond to this song, but- Peter knows the whole thing is fucked up; he’s fucked up.
Closing his eyes, he does the only thing he’s been capable of for months: he thinks of his older brother.
He’s growing fond of the new facial hair Tony’s trying out; he wonders how it would feel against his skin. Which areas would be the most sensitive to its touch? His thighs? His neck? Peter’s head tilts back and to the side as he imagines wet, warm lips and the scratch of stubble. Just the thought, the phantom sensation, makes a soft mewl leave his mouth. It’s a little ridiculous how easy he can get himself going, when he thinks of Tony’s touch, of his body. Of his love. In his boxers, his cock shifts against his thigh as it begins to fill out.
The sensual, plucky bassline and wailing guitars of the song drag along, and so does Peter’s breathing as he brings a hand up to pinch at one of his nipples. He imagines the way Tony would tease him until he was whining, begging for release. He supposes it wouldn’t be dissimilar to his older brother’s typical manner of playfully taunting him. Maybe Tony would pin him down like he did when they were younger, climb on top of him and hold him there with the muscles he’s gained from boxing in the garage. The opportunities he’s had to see the older teen breathing heavy, shirtless and glistening with sweat, would be forever ingrained in his mind. The mental image sends more blood rushing south and his dick throbs as it quickly reaches full hardness, drawing a gasp from his mouth.
Peter takes himself in hand, studying the details of his cock. He knows he’s not huge, but he’s at least on the larger side of average. It’s flushed a deep, mauve-y pink, and he traces the line of a vein on the side with the tip of his pinkie. A shiver shoots down his spine. He wonders how similar it is to Tony’s. Is he circumcised like Peter is? Is he bigger? Longer, thicker even? Sure, he’s seen him naked before, when they were younger changing or in the bath, but that stopped around the time Tony was seven or eight.
(Tony and Peter had come home from school one day, and Peter’s head had been reeling over what he heard some older girls saying on the bus. He’d decided to ask Tony about it. His big brother knew everything. ...Mom & Dad caught them kissing in their bedroom. That was the end of bathing together, and Tony got his own room, too. Peter never forgot about the way his big brother’s lips felt against his own.)
A bead of precum oozes out of his tip and Peter rubs his thumb over it, smearing the liquid over his cockhead. Robert Plant’s voice moans over the speaker and Peter echoes the sound as he slowly strokes himself with a loose grip, his hole tightening around nothing. Biting his lip, he hesitates before slipping his left pointer finger into his mouth, rolling his tongue around it sloppily. Once it’s wet, he reaches down and gently presses the pad of his finger against the tightly furled muscle between his cheeks. His breath hitches as the sensation; he’s only touched himself down here a couple of times before.
The tip of his finger begins to breach his opening and a whine leaves Peter’s mouth. It stings a bit so he tries to relax, muscles fluttering, making a mental note to grab some lube next time he goes to the drugstore. He wants to be able to stretch himself out more, to imagine Tony’s fingers, Tony’s cock, splitting him open and stuffing him full. Fuck-
Tightening his grip on the base of his cock, Peter grits his teeth and grunts softly as he pulls his finger from his ass. He can’t cum yet- he’s not done. He reaches under his pillow, pulling out the balled-up t-shirt that’s taken up residence there. The black fabric has faded in some spots, and the Black Sabbath logo is cracked and worn; it’s one of Tony’s favorite shirts. Peter brings the soft cloth up to his nose, fumbling with it to find the area with the strongest smell. There are hints of Tony’s Old Spice deodorant mixed with a scent that’s distinctly Tony, a warm, masculine musk that has saliva pooling in Peter’s mouth. Delirious, fucking his hand to the beat, he wishes he had dug a little further in the hamper, pulled out a pair of Tony’s briefs.
That’s the thought that does him in. Peter cums into his fist, gasping his brother’s name, the sound getting muddled in the maelstrom of guitar and drums. Thick ropes of jizz splatter on his stomach and chest, entire abdomen heaving with his breaths.
He wipes the mess up with Tony’s t-shirt before tucking the fabric back under his pillow for safe keeping.
to be continued???

Spotlight: A Life Of A Troubled Celebrity Heartthrob Ch 3
Word Count 5,033
The first leg of the tour in the USA and Canada was complete and the next stop was Europe. Y/N had avoided Colson as much as possible and they had one or two brief run-ins but there were always people around. She had stayed at the penthouse with the others until they left for London.
So many times he had tried to call her, to talk to her, to try and get her attention but he always got cold feet. He had tried to get Jax to go and speak to her on his behalf, threatened him even but Jax wouldn't budge.
"She's a good girl and you're not worthy of her yet.. Leave her be." Jax said, causing him to become more frustrated.
"I always get what I want and I want Y/N. I'm going to get her with or without your help." He vowed.
"Why do you want her Colson? So you can hurt her? To ruin her? Just to stroke your ego?" Jax challenged. "Why would you want to pursue her when you have no good intentions towards her? You know you will go back to your old ways once you get what you want from her and ruin her for the next guy!"
"She's different from all the other girls I've been with.. I don't know okay??! I know I can't be faithful but I just want her!" He pulled his hair in frustration. "It may be for selfish reasons but -"
"Then what Colson?! After you promised to keep your distance you do a 360 and your hormones are taking over as usual." Jax bellowed, as he came face to face with Colson.
Daring him to say the wrong thing. He was ready for anything at this point. He couldn't understand why Colson would want to ruin a sweet, innocent girl like Y/N. Colson would never change for her-for anyone for that matter. It would take a miracle for that to happen.
Colson stared at him with his icy blue eyes and walked towards the window. He couldn't explain it but he wanted Y/N like he never wanted anyone before. Maybe it was in the way she looked at him, her melodic laughter, her natural beauty or her child like innocence. He couldn't quite place his finger on it but all he knew was that he had to have her. He was tired of being with shallow-minded, pea-brained girls that just wanted him for his fame and fortune-for his body. Y/N was just content with cuddling and talking or just sitting in a comfortable silence. He had never been with a woman that just wanted him for just him. They always had some hidden agenda-their career, money, sex-but Y/N had never exploited their relationship for personal gain.
From the first time he laid his eyes on her something inside him shifted. He had offered to drive her home although he knew that Jax was waiting outside. She was a mystery to him and he wanted to spend more time with her to try and unravel it. He had made sure to keep the music low so that they could talk-once again in his life he wanted to just talk to another person with no hidden motives.
"So tell me about yourself Bambi?" He had asked with genuine interest.
"Ummm..there's nothing much to tell." She twisted her fingers on nervously in her lap. She was shy. He decided there and then he would help her to break her out of her shell. He wanted to know everything about her but the ride was so short. There wasn't enough time.
"Then tell me a little?" He urged on.
"I-I..I'm a student at-uh- Cleveland State University..and I-want to major in music." She stumbled over her words and it made her even more appealing to him. Her long lashes brushed her cheeks as she blinked rapidly.
"My Dad-he died..three years ago and I live with my Mom."She said out of breath.
"Sorry..about your Dad. Mine is as good as dead." He frowned deeply. "But-your Mom? She's cool?"
"Yes-she's the best." She still wouldn't look at him and he wanted her to. More than anything he wanted to look into those big brown eyes.
He had pulled up outside her house and as she made a jump out he thought quickly.
"Hey, smile." He said as he put up his phone and snapped a selfie. It took her completely by surprise and she looked like a frightened deer in the photo.
"Let's try again?" She relaxed slightly and the next photo was definitely a Kodak moment.
"Do I make you uncomfortable??" His hand tightened on the steering wheel as he stole a glance at her. She was standing outside the car and boring a hole into the ground with her eyes.
"Yes." She squeaked. .
"Then we're going to have to do something about that Bambi." He chuckled as he stepped on the accelerator and turned up the music. She was going to be a challenge and Colson Baker always loved a challenge.
"Byron." He spoke through the phone. "I've changed my mind..I need you to set up that thing with Y/F/N Y/L/N."
"Sure thing Colson. I'm on it." Byron replied.
"One more thing-as soon as we get to London, make sure Y/N and I live separately from the rest. You think you can manage that?" It was more like an order and not a question.
"Consider it done." Byron said.
"Thanks Byron." He cut the call and smiled to himself. His plan was starting to come together. Byron could convince an Eskimo to by an ice-machine. Y/N wouldn't be able to say no once he worked his magic on her.
Colson went to take a shower with a self-satisfied smirk on his face. He was Colson-fuckin'-Baker after all. No one could say no to him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When they arrived in London their luggage was taken care of as usual and they were ushered to the waiting limo. By this time everyone was suffering from a mixture jet-lag, exhaustion, hangover and a dash of homesickness.
"Hey guys! Great to see you again." Byron was waiting to meet them outside. "I see you're all tired and stuff so I've instructed the driver to take you straight to Eaton Place. You will be staying at that penthouse for the next three days-then we leave for Paris. However, Colson will not be joining you this time he will be living at an undisclosed location-for security reasons."
"Any questions? Great. Go home and rest guys tonight will be a busy night." He turned to face Y/J. "Miss Y/L/N, you have to come with me. We have that meeting remember? This way please."
"Oh yeah, sure." Y/N turned to Ashleigh. "I'll see you later."
"Good luck. Call me okay?" They embraced quickly before Y/N went after Byron.
Not wasting a single minute, Byron dove right into it as soon as the car started moving.
"Y/N, you already know what this is about right? We spoke about it before and also last night on the phone." Byron asked.
"Yes but I'm not sure it's a good idea.." She said skeptically.
"I don't want to insult you-but what if I threw in some money to make it worth your while? Name your price."
"What? No! What do you take me for?" She cried out.
"Okay. Okay. Calm down," He raised both his hands. "What about an internship and a guaranteed job at XX Entertainment once you graduate? Sounds good huh?"
"Byron, I don't want to feel like you've bought me..Whatever job or post I get, I want to earn it. Not to get it because.." She felt so dirty right now and insulted. Was Colson behind this? She couldn't help but wonder if he was the one that put Byron up to this.
"Okay let's do this your way." He sighed and massaged his temple. "What't it going to take for you to go along with our plan? If not money then..should I appeal to your humanity?"
"Look..it's fine I will help-"
"Yes!" He threw his fist in the air in triumph.
"But on my own terms." She said firmly.
"Whatever you want Y/N. Name it and it's yours." Byron looked at her earnestly.
"I will only agree to this if you will allow me to call it off anytime." She swallowed hard.
"What? What do you mean?" Byron asked, confused.
"If I feel it's becoming to much for me to handle then I will pull the plug on this..thing-anytime-without notice. Any questions? Great." She opened the door and jumped out without waiting for a response.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The penthouse One Hyde Park in London was were Colson and Y/N would be co-habitating. Only she wasn't aware of this yet. She thought they were just coming here for a meeting to finalize their "deal", although she didn't want anything out of it. The house was a contemporary and modern property, sitting on over an acre with a large garden, set back, screened and secluded with automatic solid sliding gates. It had a roof terrace and jacuzzi. 5 bedrooms that overlooked the garden, 4 bathrooms, 4 reception rooms. The servants quarters were on the first floor along with a stunning spiral wine cellar. The property had under floor-heating, surround sound and electronic sliding curtains.
"Wow!" Was all Y/N could say as she twirled around the house in awe. Jax showed her to her room and turned to leave.
"Wait...am I going to be staying here? Where's everyone else?" She asked.
"I'm sure Byron will fill you in soon." Jax responded.
"Oh." Her face fell.
"Don't worry about your luggage Miss Y/L/N. I will send someone with it shortly." Jax assured Y/N. "Welcome to Colson's humble abode."
She felt like Belle in Beauty and the Beast at this precise moment. Surrounded by so much luxury and yet she felt so unhappy. She kicked off her shoes and threw herself onto the bed, where she fell into a fitful sleep.
Meanwhile Colson was pacing up and down his bedroom floor, trying to think of how to approach Y/N. He had never had to make a move on a girl, it was always the other way round. He was clueless when it came to girls.
"Byron! Jax! Get in here." He hollered as he leaned over the banister.
They came up to his room promptly and sat on the chaise lounge waiting for him to speak first. He was in a plain white t-shirt and sweat pants but still looked like he stepped out of a magazine. He sat at the edge of the bed and looked on them.
"Byron, any progress with OGB?" They had labeled it Operation Get Bambi.
"She's on board." He pursed his lips into a thin line.
"But..? He raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow.
"She wants it on her own terms..which she will discuss with you. But she's taking a nap now." He bounced his knee.
"Cool. I can handle that." He pushed his hair back and let out a sigh of relief.
He never expected her to agree but then again Byron could be very persuasive. He wondered what Byron had offered her in exchange for her help. She never struck him as a girl that could be bought but maybe he was wrong-maybe everyone had a price. His heart sank the more he thought about it. She was probably just like the rest he thought.
"So why the long face? I thought you would be glad-" Byron stated.
"How much?" He gulped and stared at the floor, not meeting Byron's eyes.
"She doesn't want anything. I offered her-" Byron sat forward and tried to explain.
"What??" He looked up in surprise, his blue eyes startled.
"I could have offered her all the money in the world but she would have still turned me down." He said dryly.
"That's my girl!" Jax grinned widely as he clapped his hands dramatically.
"Shut up Jax." Colson scowled but inwardly he was just about to burst with happiness. So he was right about her after all. He didn't know why but, he felt relieved beyond comprehension.
"Now you can see that I was right about her." Jax shot back.
"Whatever-is everything set for the concert tonight? What time is sound check?" His heart was racing at the thought of seeing her again, that she was under the same roof, sound asleep in the next room.
"Yes but I'm about to head over to Wembley Stadium now to check if everything is in order..so if there's nothing else..?" He stood up and straightened his suit.
"Nah, that will be all." He said with a wave of his hand. "Jax you can stay."
"Still up for the after party?" Byron asked as he stood at the door. They always had one after every concert at a five star hotel, but only the who's who of show business in the city were invited. It was strictly by invitation.
"What else do I have to live for?" Colson rolled his eyes. "But I'll just make a brief appearance for an hour or so, I really need to rest."
"See you in a bit." Byron saluted and left.
"So what's your game plan?" Jax pursed his lips.
"I thought maybe you could help me with that?" For once he looked uncertain. Jax's heart melted.
"If and a big if- if we going to do this then you going to have to change Colson. Otherwise I won't be a part of it." Jax said with seriousness written all over his face.
"Yeah, yeah spare me the lecture Jax." He gave himself a face-palm.
"Don't you roll your eyes at me, I'm being very serious right now." Jax said.
"Jax nothing in life is guaranteed man. People make up to break up and so on. You need to chill out man." Colson replied.
"Look I'm not expecting you to marry Y/N, ride off into the sunset, have adorable twin babies and live happily ever after. But if you don't have good intentions then let's drop it. You can have any girl you want Colson. Young and old, short or tall, they're yours for the taking. Just don't go and ruin an innocent girl just for kicks. That's just plain downright cruel."
"Why do you care so much anyway?? You don't even know her man!" Colson burst out.
"That doesn't make it right. You know what forget it. I'm out." Jax stood up but Colson pulled him back.
"Listen Jax, don't get your knickers in a twist..I hear you man. Now let's discuss this like adults? How do I get my girl?" Colson cocked his head to the side and smiled.
"Thought you would never ask." Jaxs' face broke into a grin as he sat down again.
Y/N's phone was vibrating somewhere on the bed and she finally heard it.
"Hello." She said, half awake.
"Hi sweetie. Sorry did I wake you?" Mrs Y/M/L/N asked.
"Hi Mom," She propped a pillow behind her back, "Don't worry I'm awake now. Is everything okay?"
"Yes. I just miss you that's all." She said wistfully.
"I miss you too Mom." All of a sudden she broke down and started crying. She was overwhelmed by a cocktail of feelings right now and she couldn't keep the tears back any longer. Hearing her mother's voice made her homesick and emotional.
"Hey honey? What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"Ye-yes." She tried to compose herself. "I guess I'm just tired. Haven't slept properly you know.." She sniffled.
"I thought you were having a great time? Did something happen? Is it Colson?" Her mother rained questions Y/N couldn't quite answer herself.
"No-yes I am Mom. It's been great. Colson's been great Mom." She reached out for a Kleenex and wiped her face and nose. There was a soft knock on the door and she asked her mother to hold.
"Come in." Y/N called out and immediately regretted it. Well kind off..
"Hey-is this a bad time? You're crying? Why? Is it me? Did I do this??" He rushed to her side and held her at arms length.
"No-wait.." She held up a finger to her lips. "Mom, can I call you back? Colson is here."
"Put him on the phone. I need to have a word with him." She demanded. Y/N was sure Colson heard that and her fears were confirmed when he held out his hand for the phone. She looked at him hesitantly then handed it over to him with resigned sigh.
"Hi Mrs Y/M/L/N. Colson Baker here." He turned on the Baker charm and there was no female on planet earth that was immune to it, so far anyway.
"Oh hi there-um-Colson." Y/N imagined her Mom fluffing her hair like she usually did. She had already fallen for the trap.
"I just wanted to thank you personally for allowing Y/N to come on this tour. She is such a breath of fresh air. You raised her well." He smiled at Y/N as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Oh thank you Colson. You don't have to say that." Mrs Y/M/L/N gushed.
"Anyway we got to run now, I promised to take Y/N for lunch and I'm a man of my word." Y/N gasped and he turned his back on her to keep from laughing.
"Really?? You don't have to! Surely you're too busy for that?" She asked.
"Anything for my Bambi." He said sweetly.
"Awww you even have a cute pet name for her?? You know they used to call her that in kindergarten?" She laughed.
"Really?? Why don't you tell me all about it when we visit this weekend?" He turned to face Y/N, her mouth almost hit the ground.
"You're coming over? Y/N didn't say.."
"It was a surprise but now it's out there." He shrugged.
"Okay let me not keep you then. See you then." He rang off.
"Explain Baker." Y/N crossed her arms and pushed her tongue in her cheek.
"Can we eat first sweets? I'm starved." He said with exaggeration. "Can we call a truce? No more mind games. No more ping-pong with feelings and let's learn how to communicate okay?" He held out his hand and she shook it. He would have preferred them to seal it with a kiss but he didn't want to get ahead of himself.
"So we're good?" He asked.
"Yes." She said with a smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Colson was lying on his bed but for the life of him he couldn't fall asleep. It was 3:00 am. He had sang his heart out at the concert, stayed very briefly at the after party and tried to get drunk but failed. Women had tried to entice him but he just wasn't interested. He kept his eyes on his prize all night. He even got jealous when a dark-haired guy approached her and engaged her in conversation. She seemed taken with him-they laughed, they smiled and even flirted. The guy kept her entertained most of the night and he saw them dance a couple of times. Finally, when he couldn't take it anymore he walked over and cut in. After the dance he faked a headache and asked Y/N if they could go home.
"Bambi? Can I come in?" Colson knocked softly on the door and got no response. He had a serious case of insomnia and this was his only remedy. All the alcohol that he had didn't seem to do the trick, even some stronger stuff-he was wide awake.
Colson opened Y/N's door slowly and found her fast asleep on top of the covers, her long legs overlapping each other and her flat stomach exposed. She was in shorts and a sports bra, her smooth, milky skin glistening in the moonlight, her hair fanned all over her pillow and her face looked so serene. He sat on the edge of the bed and lightly traced his fingers across her stomach and then up to her face. If it were possible, he could sit here and just watch her sleep all night but she would freak out when she woke up and found him staring at her.
Common sense told him to leave the room but he found himself jumping on the bed and snuggling behind her. Taking in her scent, nuzzling her neck and just reveling in being close to her. She was completely out because she never once moved. He gave a contented sigh as he put his arms around her and fell asleep almost immediately..
Y/N woke up an hour later feeling thirsty and tried to move but she was firmly secured in a grip. She woke up with a start and turned to see Colson sleeping like a baby. Just watching him sleep made her heart melt into a puddle. Her hand reached out on its own accord, to stroke his hair and his beautiful face.
A smile lit her face as she reached out for the glass of water on the nightstand. Colson Baker was lying in her bed in his bare necessities. He was right here with her and not some floozy or flavor of the night. This was the stuff dreams were made of. Her heart fluttered as she took in the sight before her again as she assumed her position once more. Their bodies fit so perfectly together when they were like this, if only it could apply in every area of their relationship. That's if you could even call it that. But a girl could only hope...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Y/N!" Ashleigh barged into the room, "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry-I didn't know-sorry!" She covered her face and quickly backed out. The said couple were deep in sleep and were oblivious to the intrusion, fortunately for Ashleigh.
"There is such a thing as knocking you know?" Jax stood at the foot of the stairs, with his hands behind his back, as she descended in a hurry.
"I didn't know-" She said, her face beet red.
"You should learn to expect the unexpected when it comes to those two." Jax said with a knowing look. He had learned that the hard way.
"I didn't expect them to be..you know..Gosh I wish I could unsee that!" She covered her face, trying to hide her embarrassment.
She didn't anticipate walking into Y/N's room to find her and Colson half-naked and glued to each others bodies. After all how could Y/N get with him after everything he had done to her? She just couldn't understand it. But then again this was Colson Baker and he was beyond irresistible. I mean who could say no to that hot body? If Ashleigh was in the same position then they definitely were not going to be sleeping.
"May I interest you in breakfast per chance?" Jax asked as he led her to the sitting room, drawing her out of her nasty thoughts. "What brings you here so early anyway?"
"It's way after 9 Jax." She flopped onto the couch. "I need to talk to Y/N..about something.."
"Well, you just have to wait or come back later?" Jax suggested. "When ever they sleep together they have been known to wake up way past noon..and we had a pretty late night coupled with the heavy hangover.." He perched on the armrest.
"What do you mean "when they sleep together?" She looked at him suspiciously.
"I think I've already said too much-breakfast?" He stood hastily and retreated to the kitchen.
"I think I'm going to go then!" She shouted after him and followed him to the kitchen.
"Slow your roll there little lady. I'm sure they will be up and about in no time." He said. "What would you like the chef to prepare for you?"
"An omelette and toast-he can be creative but I don't eat mushroom." She slid onto the stool by the kitchen island.
Y/N began to stir when she heard a murmuring of voices coming from downstairs. She tried to turn but Colson's arms-and legs were tightly wrapped around her. Why would anyone want to ever wake up from this, she thought as she tried to sleep again but Colson had other plans.
"Good morning sweets." He said, his voice still husky.
"Hey." She said nervously as his arms tightened around her waist
"I could get used to this." He buried his face into her hair and groaned.
"What? Waking up in someone else's bed?" She turned onto her back and faced him.
"Your bed you mean?" He smiled and pushed her messy hair back so he could look at her face. Never had he wanted the female specie as much as he wanted her right now. Never had he slept in a bed with a woman and just traded war stories. He knew that if he made a move she would comply but he couldn't. There was more to him agreeing to keep from jumping her bones but she was clueless, and he hoped it stayed that way until he had dealt with the issue. He would take that secret with him to the grave.
"No ping-pong remember?" She was saying to him. Maybe dreams do come true, she thought. Maybe he was really into her? But then again there was no telling with Colson Baker. He was just to complex and she didn't have the energy to try and figure him out.
"Yeah, yeah I get it but-I think we've already crossed that line Bambi.." He looked pointedly at their tangled limbs. Not to mention her undergarments left very little to the imagination. She looked at their entwined bodies and fell silent for a moment. They were in quite a predicament-it was clear as the light of day.
"Well..you decided to invite yourself into my bed Baker. After you promised to keep your distance." She said in defense mode.
"..and you were purring like a contented cat next to me. You never really put up any form of resistance sweets." His blue eyes twinkled like the sea when they were hit with the rays of the sun. The liquid courage had worn off and both of them were now completely aware of their actions. She felt her cheeks redden as she looked at Colson's inviting body . Fortunately, Y/N's phone broke the awkward moment.
"Hey Mom." Nice save Mrs Y/M/L/N.
"Hey sweetie. I'm sorry to disturb you but the press has been camped outside my house for two days now and-"
"What do they want? Why didn't you say something?" She sat up and Colson looked at her with concern.
"I'm sorry sweetie I just didn't want to worry you. Plus they have been blowing up my phone and my practice has been overwhelmed. I know I'm a good therapist but this has just been ridiculous. I have had people make appointments just so they can ask me questions about your relationship with Colson. Even your friends Liv and Lisa are being stalked-it's a nightmare. Urrgh.." She screamed in frustration.
"I'm so sorry Mom. This is all my fault. How can I fix it?" Y/N said with determination.
"No, no honey, don't do anything hasty. I think I'll just take a well needed vacation to Bora Bora or something and I think I have a conference coming soon-" She sighed.
"Should I come with you? I can-"
"No. You stay put. Besides, that will do more harm than good." She murmured.
"So what can I do?" Y/N raked her hair with her fingers. Colson motioned for her to hand over the phone and she gave it to him.
"Mrs Y/M/L/N. I'm sorry to hear about your little inconvenience but not to worry I got it handled." Colson said confidently. Y/N looked at him in disbelief-who did he think he was? Ethan Hunt?
"Oh really?" Mrs Y/M/L/N was equally shocked.
"I'll get my team to come and get you out of there and set you up in a place where you will be secured and- where you can enjoy your privacy once again." He assured her.
"Oh no Colson, you don't have to do that sweetie." She protested.
"I want to. Please let me? It would mean so much to me." The Baker Charm was turned on.
"Okay sure." Mrs Y/M/L/N caved in.
"Great." His face lit up. "One of my assistants will be in touch shortly."
"Am I still going to see you guys on the weekend?" She asked.
"Yes. We will be there sooner actually." Colson confirmed.
"I can't wait." She squealed in delight.
"Okay speak soon." Colson rang off.
"Colson Baker did you just lie to my mother?" Y/N said in bewilderment. There was no way they would go back to Ohio and back again to Paris in time for his show.
"FYI sweets my Paris Show has been cancelled because of the bombing at Ariana Grande's concert. I'm not taking any chances and my security team has advised against it. So..we can fly to Minnesota then straight to Norway after the weekend. Easy." He gestured with his hands.
"You're too sweet. I could kiss you right now." Y/N said without thinking.
"Then what's stopping you sweets?" He leveled his face with hers.
"I- we-can't." She hopped of the bed and grabbed a robe. "So what you got planned for today?" His heart sagged, he expected her to be all over him. Most girls would have jumped at the opportunity-but not Y/N.
"Pack your bags Bambi. We're going to Ohio." He said as he left the room, his shoulders sagged. She really wanted to kiss him but she wanted to tread carefully. Things between them were complicated enough.

“That’s a straight no.”
“What? Why?”
“Come on,” You laugh. “I can hear the sirens coming for you now. She looks like she’s a junior in high school.”
He cocks his brow, “You do too and I still live with you.”
You playfully smack him. “That’s different.”
“Why? Because you can't handle seeing me with someone else?” He says smugly.
@mochminnie and anyone else that would like to get tagged :))
(Chapter one)
Morning of Nancy & Jonathan’s Wedding
The daylight shines on his face when he wakes up. He looks down to see you’ve disappeared and instantly thinks yesterday was a dream. He’s almost disappointed.
“You snore too loud.” You say as a matter of factly, coming out in a robe and towel.
It wasn’t a dream. He smiles.
“You hog the blanket too much.” He retorts, flipping the covers over and getting up to stretch.
"It's like thirteen degrees outside of course I'm going to take it."
"There's layers to this, you know that right?"
“Alright, alright Casanova, do you want to stay here sparring with me or go find the love of your life?”
He stretches his arms, then sighs. “Not sure if I’ll meet the one if I’m half-naked.”
“Oh, you’d be surprised.” You wink, going back inside the bathroom to get ready.
Only an hour later and you two were nearly late because he decided to play hideaway with your heels. You didn’t protest as much but they were the only fancy shoe you’d brought to match the nuptial’s dress code.
You rushed into the elevator, counting down to at least ten minutes. It should be enough time to walk over to the chapel.
You glance at Steve, seeing him look out of it.
“Hey,” You tug at his arm. He straightens up. “You okay?”
“Yeah, it’s just been a while.”
Part of him wondered if they would remember him after so long.
“Well if they’re not talking about you, they’ll be talking about how messy and out of place you look. Here, let me fix you.” You fix his Windsor knot stay in place and then move his floppy hair, letting a single curl of hair rest on his forehead.
“Is this really how you styled it?” You lift yourself on your toes to get more of it but he moves aside.
“Hey, hey, don’t damage the goods.”
“Is that - hold on, ” You take a whiff of his hair. “Oh my god.”
He rolls his eyes. “Alright, laugh it up.”
“You smell like my mom!” You chortle.
He pushes you playfully as the elevator doors open and he walks out with you hysterically laughing. He smiles nervously at the passing guests as they file out to the chapel.
“That’s so cute. Listen, if you don’t end up with anyone our age here, you can definitely bag one of the aunts. I’m sure they’d love you.”
“It was my go-to in high school, alright? Girls loved it.”
He can see the subtle upward quirk of your mouth as you smothered a laugh.
“C’mon, before we become those people who hog all the attention.” You interlinked your arms and made your way past the field of green and a big brown chapel.
You both sat in the middle row on Nancy’s side, meeting all of her family and being introduced to her sister Holly, brother Mike and his girlfriend Jane. You couldn’t stop staring as Mike and Jane sat and goofed with each other.
“Been together since ‘84, and they still can’t get enough of each other,” Steve tells you in a hushed voice as he leans to you and begins giving you the dirt on everyone there.
Jonathan’s mother, Joyce sits at the front with a gruff looking man who kept trying to take out a pack of cigarettes. She’s pretty, and definitely doesn’t look as old as Steve says she is. She has a timeless beauty to her. Steve tells you that the man she’s with is Hopper, the same man whose wedding you would be attending later in March. Jonathan’s brother, Will sits to his mother's left and is in deep conversation with a man Steve doesn’t recognize.
Steve goes on a tangent on how different and grown-up everyone looks. He goes into details about things they used to do back in Indiana, some things crazy and others unbelievable. He almost sounds sad for not being able to see their growth for himself but that’s not a story he’ll tell you anytime soon.
You’re conversing with Jane when everyone quiets down and music starts playing. You stand and watch as Jonathan marches right up to one step to meet his brother and hug him momentarily. Holly enters, picking petals out of the basket and dropping them as she passes. Nancy enters soon after slowly, keeping tempo with the music. Her dad is older, more filled out, and grey-haired than Steve originally remembers him. Her mother, however, is stunning in a way that doesn’t overshadow her daughter. Her blonde hair is pulled into a half updo, she smiles warmly to guests as she carries the tail of Nancy’s beautiful cream dress. It's an eye-catching tulle gown with floral accents and lace sleeves that move comfortably with her.
Nancy’s brown hair is long and curls at the end, decorated with a pearl headband, her slender nude manicured fingers holding onto the bouquet gracefully as if she was a princess. She’s naturally gorgeous, with touches of blush on her cheekbones. She takes your breath away.
You’re almost a little jealous Steve got to date her.
“Please be seated.” The priest says.
You accidentally sit on Steve’s hand, making him jerk quickly but fast enough to avoid attention. You're locked in the entire time, entranced by every little detail from the soft brown tones of Jonathan's suit to the camera pin he wears to the embroidery on Nancy's heels.
The ceremony is beautiful, you even catch Steve tearing up at Jonathan’s thoughtfully written vows for Nancy.
“You may now kiss the bride.”
The crowd goes wild, cheers and whistles all around as Nancy and Jonathan kiss and he twirls her in a circle. She’s smiling shyly as Jonathan peppers her with kisses. Will steps in and takes a couple of photos before whispering something into Jonathan’s ear and making him laugh. The bride and groom rush outside hand in hand, rice and flowers being thrown as they disappear past the golden-brown of the chapel.
You and Steve give each other a look, thinking this wedding plan might not be so bad after all. You’re seeing love in its purest form.
The reception is held in a small banquet hall, music is being played by a band of fine instruments led by people Steve tells you are part of Nancy’s family. The whole place is decorated to bring out the snow and natural elements outside. Windows wide open, the brown of the hall illuminated by fairy lights hanging from above, a cute photo booth with a retro moon to pose with, and a DJ soon after the band leaves.
“Come,” Steve says, intertwining your hand in his and leading you over to where Nancy and Jonathan are.
Jonathan notices him first and immediately hugs him. Steve hugs him tighter, letting them sway for a moment while you introduce yourself to Nancy.
“Hi, I’m -”
“You must be the one Steve talks so much! I've heard a lot about you!” She giggles. My god, even her laugh was beautiful.
“Beautiful wedding! I am in love with you - your dress, I’m sorry.” You say, flustered. Nancy takes no offense and instead envelopes you in a hug.
“Thank you! It was a lot of stress but I'm glad we could finally get it to come to fruition. Steve never told me you were this lovely.”
You wave her comment away, feeling shyer than ever. “Please, I’m just so glad I finally get to meet THE Nancy Wheeler.”
“I hope you’re not trying to steal my wife,” Jonathan beams, bear-hugging you.
"I would never." You grin. “You’re a lucky man, Mr. Byers.”
“Mr. Byers was my dad, please call me Jonathan.”
You nod, feeling the warmth and love that Jonathan and Nancy were giving off.
"So? How are you two? How's New York?" Nancy asks.
You and Steve glance at each other to see who goes first.
"Good! So good." You say in unison.
“So what’s going on with you two, huh? Any crazy stories?” Steve asks, eager to get the attention off of him for once.
“Well,” Nancy looks at Jonathan. “Jonathan was a freelancing photographer for a while but he was just hired for a two-year contract by Life magazine!”
You and Steve look at Jonathan wide-eyed and with jaws dropped. Jonathan smiles shyly.
“Jon, oh my god congratulations!” Steve says, pulling Jonathan into another hug.
“It was just a split-second decision, he almost didn’t send the photos in time but I convinced him.” Nancy smiles. "They want to send him to Amsterdam next week."
"Europe for the honeymoon? That's amazing." You gush, thinking about the canals and all the great food.
“And that’s not all,” Jonathan rubs at Nancy’s back with his other hand. “Nancy’s accepted a job up in New York as a journalist.”
“No way!” You feel your excitement skyrocket.
“We’re moving into the East Village in March, just after my mom’s wedding.”
“That’s amazing you guys, I’m so happy for you.” Steve is absolutely over the moon.
“Thank you and please help yourselves!” Jonathan’s eyes crinkle as he smiles.
“Hope to see you guys soon!” Nancy exclaimed, before being met with more family to greet. You and Steve say goodbye and gush over them.
“I can’t believe you got to date her.” You remark, sipping more of the champagne.
“Yeah well, I was lucky to even kiss her. Looking back, I think they had it for each other all the time. I was just in the way.”
Projecting onto her, he thinks.
You frown. “Personally, I’m glad to see it all worked out in the end. To the happy couple!”
You bring your glasses to toast and snicker when some of it spills onto Steve’s lap. He tries to get you back but you evade him.
The orchestra ends and the DJ begins his set. He starts off with some lovey-dovey tunes you remember your mother playing from her childhood.
“Come on, let’s dance!” You exclaim, taking Steve’s hand and pulling him up and away from the table.
The dance floor is decently packed, The Del-Viking’s “Come Go With Me” echoing through the walls of the banquet hall.
Steve makes a fool of himself, flailing and dancing exaggeratedly while you move side to side to the dum dum dum, occasionally doubling over when Steve stumbles back into someone.
The music shifts after you two are completely tired out, changing to The Smiths’ “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now”. Definitely Jonathan’s choice.
You and Steve pair up, dancing slowly with your head on his shoulder.
It’s a nice feeling, to be like this with someone. You didn’t know how you felt about Steve, besides the fact that he could be annoying as all hell and a bummer. But he wasn't so unpleasant to have around. He just needed to let loose. He wasn’t going to be twenty-eight forever.
Maybe it was too early, you saw how he’d freaked about Danny.
“Hey, five o’clock.” He whispers in your ear, ripping you away from your thoughts.
“What?”
“What about the girl at five o’clock? She seems nice.”
“Spin me.”
He spins you out to see a girl in a nice pastel blue colored dress and bouffant talking to Jonathan. He spun you back in.
“Pfft. She’s got babyface. Just trust me.”
The music shifts throughout the night, some electronic, another alternative, or more classical and then back to lovey-dovey.
At the end of “Earth Angel,” you’re just about ready to leave and kick off the heels that just won’t quit squeezing your feet.
“I’m starving.” You whisper into his ear.
“There’s food here.”
“Yes, and I’m still hungry. I need to severely gorge on something big right now.”
Steve chuckles lowly, about to make the joke you feared once the words ‘something big’ left your lips.
“Don’t you dare.”
“Yes, dear.” He snickers.
Once you’re away from the view of family and friends, you unbuckle the straps of your heels and breath in relief at your chains being taken off. Steve walks past you but you whistle to him to catch his attention.
“Well? Come on.” He motions for you.
You throw your head back and whine. “I can’t walk. These things have worn me down.”
He chuckles to himself shaking his head. “Alright, hop on.”
He turns and bends to your level, letting you climb onto his back like a monkey. You wrap your arms around his neck, him holding you up by your thighs.
You nestle comfortably into his shoulder, letting out an audible sigh.
“Don’t get too comfortable up there, you have the keys to the room.” He warns, but you’re fast asleep by the end of the sentence. "So much for being hungry."
He gets soft looks and compliments of ‘being a great boyfriend’ from different guests but he doesn’t have the energy to correct them. The dancing tired him out.
He uses the pointy end of your heel to click the elevator button and is careful with you when entering. Your soft sighs and deep breaths comfort him in some way. Your fingers twitch around his now loosened tie, softly scratching at the nape of his neck. It gives him goosebumps, but he relaxes into it, letting the warmth creep up to his cheeks.
He’s too lost in the feeling to notice when the doors open, the elevator dings to alert him. When he’s out, he shakes you slowly to wake you up. You stir and hum but stay asleep. He maneuvers your bag to face him, getting the key painfully slow. The door hinges creaking don’t wake you at all.
He lays you down onto the side where he sleeps, careful with your shoes and your bag. Putting them aside, he makes a move to close the door but your hand grabs at his wrist and pulls him back.
He glances down at you, still asleep but still holding on. “I have to close the door.” He whispers.
“Steve.” You murmur.
“Yeah?” He brings himself to ask, entranced by you.
You mumble incoherently, letting go of his wrist and turning your side to get comfortable.
He sighs.
"It was a nice wedding." He says, getting the suitcases out of the cab while you tip the driver.
"It really was. Plus I'm glad I got to take one of these suckers home too." You dig through your bag, pulling out the towel teddy bear that had previously been on your hotel bed. It looked a little deformed now but you could fix it.
Steve makes a surprised noise, "We steal things now?"
"It's not stealing if they were just going to put another one back."
"Well, I wish could've taken some of that shampoo. It made my hair smell great."
"Oh don't worry I got a couple of them in my suitcase. You can have them."
He looks at you with intrigue.
"What? We can't live fancy?"
He shakes his head, his shoulders shaking as you head into the apartments.
"Hey, sorry I ruined your shot looking for someone at the reception."
He shrugs, feeling it wasn't a big deal. "That's why we have the other three, right? Plus, I had fun. I wouldn't have wanted to be in my head the entire time."
The answer satisfies you but you promise yourself to aim higher at the next wedding.

"You loved what you loved because you loved it."
It's been weeks. Weeks of you falling deeper and deeper into this mess you somehow forced yourself into.
Weeks of getting to know Rosé. Weeks of getting to know Jisoo. Weeks of getting to know Lia, for that matter.
Weeks of being sucked into a cycle of never-ending uncertainty.
And sure you knew plenty about them at this point. The little stuff, the medium stuff, but maybe not the big stuff.
If someone had asked you weeks ago if you had wanted to be in a serious relationship, mated to an alpha for the foreseeable future, you would have told them 'No. Absolutely not. I'm not ready.' But now, that's changed. And you're not exactly sure why.
In addition to suddenly wanting to be someone's omega, your heats had magically increased, in frequency and intensity. They were somehow bulldozing their way through your normal dosage of suppressants.
It was why you currently found yourself in the waiting room of your doctor's office.
Though, as you waited to be called back by the nurse, that was not the pertinent thought weighing down on you. Instead, it was 'Did Jisoo or Rosé want a serious relationship with you as well? Did they want you to be their mate?'
The million-dollar question.
You had no real way of knowing. It definitely seemed like it on both their parts, but outright asking was out of the question.
Jisoo had a daughter, a daughter who will inevitably one day realize that you look nothing like her. She'll long for the care of her biological mother, and then Jisoo will leave you so their family is complete.
A logical conclusion.
Rosé has an ex, an ex that, granted, you're not supposed to know about (Yeri is very talkative when drunk), but an ex nonetheless. It's only fair that Rosé realizes that she has unfinished business with said ex while you're pregnant with her pups, and leaves you for the ex.
Another logical conclusion.
And where does all of that leave you?
Alone.
The nurse calling your name lightly soothed you out of your musing, saving you from answering your own question with even more ugly scenarios.
"Y/N L/N? You can go on back." The nurse, an omega herself, smiled reassuringly as she gestured for you to follow her.
She lead you to an examination room after weighing you in the hallway. After a few preliminary questions that you had to answer every time you visited, the nurse left you to wait.
Seven minutes later there's a knock on the door and a creaking of the hinges.
Dr. Ramona Davis, another omega woman, smiled softly as she flipped through your mildly thin file.
Despite you being a patient at this particular practice since you started having heats, you had never really had any serious isssues.
It wasn't uncommon for an Omega Specialist to be an alpha, but they probably saw way less patients. It made more sense for an omega to be seeing a doctor who would understand what they were going through on a medical and a personal level.
Dr. Davis placed the file on the counter in the room before squirting some hand sanitizer on, rubbing it in, then shaking your hand.
"Hello Y/N, what brings you in today? I haven't had to see you in a year." The concern on the woman's fair features was genuine. You took great appreciation in that. You hated Doctor's offices and the almost motherly nature of the omega doctor assuaged your anxiety greatly.
"Um, yeah. Recently, my heats have been coming way more frequently than normal and they're very intense. My suppressants are barely putting a dent in them."
"Oh, that is concerning. You rarely come to me for heat problems." The doctor's eyebrows furrowed.
Dr. Davis did a quick check of your breathing, then ears and nose.
The omega doctor sat back on her rolling stool with a sigh, "Are your heat symptoms normal? Anything really out of the ordinary?"
A blush settled over your cheeks. You thought for a second, other than being more intense you didn't think that your symptoms have been out of the ordinary really, "I don't think so. The normal overheating, bones aching so bad I can't move, loss of appetite, and really bad night terrors, but I think that has more to do with the fact that this is my first year living by myself in the center of New York City. Yeah, all of that but dialed up by, like, 10." You mused, you shrugged your shoulders in the end as if to say 'Y'know, the usual.'
Ramona stared at you blankly for a solid three minutes before speaking again, "Y/N. None of that is normal. I have half a mind to call your mom and tell her what you just told me. The only thing stopping me is doctor-patient confidentiality."
You pouted, your mother didn't need to know any of this. She was dealing with her own things. It's the very reason you hadn't mentioned this to either of your parents. Also, you hadn't really known that anything was wrong. You really just came here to get a higher dosage of suppressants.
Dr. Davis rubbed a hand down her face, "How long have your heats been like this?"
"Since I started having them, but they didn't get really bad until like six weeks ago give or take."
Ramona nodded, "You said this was the first time you're living fully by yourself. How long has it been since you lived with an alpha?"
"Uh, not since being home with my dad. I'm 24 and I moved out at 18, so, six years ago." You frowned. You desperately needed to find out where the professional was going with this.
Ramona thought for a second. She had a hunch, of what part of the problem was. She can't really do anything about the "normal" heat symptoms but she does have a cure that should dial back the frequency and intensity, she just had a sneaking suspicion that you would absolutely hate it. Because if you didn't hate the idea, then the problem would be fixed already.
But first, a couple more questions, "When was the last time you were knotted?"
"Like three years ago?"
Dr. Davis surmises that you must have impeccable self-control and she's not sure if that's a good thing or not.
"Okay, last question before I let you in on my thought process. Have you been in close proximity to any unmated alphas lately? Like not just standing behind one in a line or sitting next to one in class, I mean actually spending time with any."
"Yeah...two." You were starting to pick up the pieces, and no, you did not like where this is going.
"Ah, the final piece of the puzzle," Ramona wrote some notes down on your file, "Alright. So here's what I think is going on, you haven't been in the presence of an alpha for at least three years. And all of a sudden you're surrounded by two. Probably encountering many more pheromones than you had in the past three years combined. It doesn't help that those alphas are readily available and your omega is very aware of this. Your heats are out of wack because, one, it sounds like you've just been chugging through them like nothing is wrong, not taking a knot or anything even remotely useful, and two, because of these new alphas. It's almost like your teasing your omega and she's fighting back. Triggering random and intense heats to trick you into mating with one of them."
You stared back at her absolutely horrified, "I'm trying to kill myself?"
"That's not what I said."
"That's what it sounded like. Anyway, how do I get it to stop? I'm sure you know this isn't very fun."
"I can imagine. There's really one way that can help..."
"Stop stalling, Doc."
"You're going to have to take one of their knots. I know, I know. Stop looking at me like that. It's the only way. Once you do that, your omega will calm down and you can go back to your life. Look, it doesn't even have to be one of theirs. You're going to do that and I'm going to write you a prescription for some muscle relaxers but your suppressants are staying the same."
You looked like you wanted to puke at the thought of doing that with anyone else other than Jisoo or Rosé.
"Okay, it has to be one of theirs."
You still looked a bit apprehensive.
Ramona sighed, it looked like she was going to have to pretend to be her wife today. Her wife was a psychologist who worked down the hall.
"What's got you so hesitant, Y/N?"
You sighed and your shoulders slumped, "I don't want to have to choose between them. I like them both. A lot."
"Who said you have to choose? You might eventually when you're ready to mate, but for now, you don't have to worry about that."
"What if I am ready to mate?" You mumbled.
"Then yeah, you might have a problem on your hands."
You threw your hands up in the air exasperated, "I don't even know if they would even want to have sex with me."
Ramona rolled her eyes at that, "Okay, here's what you're going to do. I'm going to sit here, and you're going call both of them and ask."
You began to protest, "Ah. No. You're going to do it. I can tell you've been putting this off and it's starting to nag at you. You're a 24-year-old unmated omega. There is absolutely no reason you should be doubting your sex appeal."
"Fine," You grumbled. Your hands shook as you picked up your phone and tapped on your recents. They were both coincidently the last people you had talked to. Rosé being the latest, as you were confirming plans for later that day.
Rosé answered on the second ring, "Hey, Babe. What's up?"
You blushed at the pet name, you sighed before deciding to just rip it off like a bandaid, "Do you want to have sex with me?"
There's a clattering and then a curse on the other end. A second later Rosé started speaking again, "I'm sorry, I dropped my phone. Yes. The answer is yes." You hung up without another word. A heavy blush encompassing your harsh scowl at Ramona.
It seemed like Jisoo answered the phone before you even pressed the call button, "Kim Crematorium. You kill 'em, we grill 'em. How may I help you?"
"How many times do I have to tell you that's not funny?"
"...Until I believe you."
"Anyway. Do you want to have sex with me?"
It sounded like Jisoo started to hyperventilate.
"I very do a lot."
"What?"
"Yes. The answer is yes."
You hung up and glared at the doctor, "Happy?"
"Are you?"
You had never felt a boost of confidence such as the verbal reassurance of alphas being sexually attracted to you, but Ramona didn't need to know that.
"So, now you know they want to. The next step is to do it." Dr. Davis patted you on the shoulder reassuringly.
You nodded resolutely. The next step is to do it.
Dr. Davis handed you the prescription for the muscle relaxers and ushered you out the door.
~•~
You arrived at Rosé's penthouse with a renewed sense of determination.
You were let into the fancy apartment building and then into the penthouse fairly easily. You assumed Rosé had prepared whoever needed to be prepared for your arrival.
Rosé, over lunch one day, had finally let slip her actual job description. You had only shrugged more or less. You weren't stupid. You don't wear custom Armani suits and pay for your Starbucks with a black credit card without being the CEO of something.
Rosé seemed forever grateful you hadn't made a big deal about it.
As soon as you laid eyes on Rosé your core clenched. The alpha was only wearing a grey t-shirt and a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, and yet for some reason, you still got weak in the knees.
Rosé greeted you with a peck on the cheek and a happy smile, "How was your day?"
You blinked, "Interesting. How was yours?"
"Boring at first. It's my first day off in months and I didn't know what to do with myself. Then I got an interesting phone call from an interesting person asking an interesting question. So I'd say my day was interesting as well."
Rosé led them deeper into the penthouse, which you later will realize is only the first floor.
"Yeah, sorry if I caught you off guard with that?" You looked down and blushed. A go to move of yours.
Rosé shrugged, "It's fine. I admired the forwardness...So, I was originally going to cook for you, but then at the very last second, I remembered I can't cook. But I can drink wine. And I'm very good at buying it too, so I figured we could have an impromptu wine tasting." Rosé gestured into her kitchen where a bunch of glasses filled with different pigments of wine had been set up.
"You just want to see me drunk." You tapped Rosé playfully on the arm.
"I'd be lying if I said I didn't have any ulterior motives."
You made it three glasses in before you practically jumped Rosé. In your defense, your mini-heat was still simmering under the surface.
Your lips smashed together in a desperate ruse for you to get closer to Rosé. Rosé's hands on your hips and your hands in her hair. You released your grip on the taller woman's hair, you reached down to your shirt. Gripping at the hem and yanking it overhead.
Rosé blinked slowly, "Are you sure?" She asked, even as your hands traveled to the belt buckle on her jeans.
You captured Rosé's lips again in a quick, searing kiss, "What about any of this says unsure to you?"
That's all Rosé needs to continue.
It's not really evident how you two got into Rosé's room and subsequently her bed. Both of you had sort of partially blacked out.
Save for her underwear, Rosé was completely naked as she nipped at your neck. You mewled and whined, your hips rolling up into Rosé's thigh.
"You're so wet." Rosé practically growled into your ear. She can easily tell by the amount collecting on her thigh every time you bucked your hips.
"Alpha, need you inside of me."
Rosé is all too happy to oblige. She kicked off her boxers quickly, then leaned over toward her bedside table. She rummaged around in the drawer without looking. You were completely naked under her, her eyes were bit preoccupied.
It took about 20 more seconds for the alpha to locate what she had been looking for.
"Safety first," Rosé exclaimed as she held up the condom. You rolled your eyes, a bit too far gone to care about safety at the moment. This all seemed like a waste of precious time to you.
It felt like ages before Rosé was finally inside of you. You couldn't help but clench just about as soon as she had entered.
The relief you felt was almost instantaneous. That feeling of finally being filled almost pushed you over the edge right then and there.
Rosé rocked her hips back lightly. Allowing you to adjust.
You did so quickly apparently. Your hips rocking up into Rosé once again.
"Chae, harder."
Rosé grunted and obliged. Her hips slamming into the you harder than before. You were about as tight as Rosé had imagined you would be, and that was serving to make this that much more difficult.
She'd be damned if she didn't even last ten minutes. How embarrassing would that be?
"Fuck." You moaned breathily. You felt like you were floating. The coil in your stomach tightening in time with the curling of your toes.
"You're so gorgeous." Rosé whispered into your shoulder. She nipped at the skin there, trying to abate her need to bite your mating gland.
You're not listening. You can feel Rosé's knot beginning to form, and your main goal is to get it inside of you. So, you relaxed as much as you could and wrapped your legs around Rosé's waist. Pulling her closer.
You both released almost identical moans.
"God, you're trying to kill me." Rosé grunted just as her knot popped into you.
It took just about all her willpower not to latch onto your neck.
Your back arched as you fell over the edge. Your breathy moans becoming a bit more high pitched.
Rosé groaned as she released into the condom.
As you both came down you began to giggle.
Rosé scowled, "What are you laughing at?"
"Oh, calm down. I'm laughing because I normally pride my self on having great self control. I demonstrated quite the opposite just then."
"Hey, we all need to let go every once in a while." Rosé shrugged and shifted you to a more comfortable position.
You gasped as you felt the knot tug a bit. You would be tied together for a bit longer.
You sighed happily, then snuggled closer into Rosé.
Within seconds, you're out like a light.
~•~
You woke to your phone vibrating precariously next to your head.
In the night, you and Rosé had since shifted. No longer tied. Your back was pressed into Rosé's front, with her arm slung across your waist.
You answered your phone without looking at caller id.
"Hello?"
"Hey. You weren't sleep were you?" You frowned at the tone of Jisoo's voice. She sounded exhausted and maybe even a little upset.
"No. Why? What's up?"
Jisoo huffed a bit before sighing, "Do you mind coming over here and watching Lia for a bit. She's not feeling well and I need to go pick up some medicine for her. I know it's late-"
"I'll be right over, Jisoo."
"Thanks."
It's surprisingly easy for you to slip out from under Rosé. Tiptoe out of the room, locate your clothes, then head out the apartment. All without waking her.
~•~
You're at Jisoo's in record time. You smoothed out your wrinkled shirt before knocking on the door lightly.
It doesn't occur to you that Jisoo is most definitely going to smell Rosé on you until Jisoo opens the door and looks at you like that.
Part sad, part angry, part prooven right?
Her jaw is clenched and she won't look you in the eyes. Instead she looked right past you into the hallway. You wanted to say something. Apologize maybe. Deal out excuses. You're not sure. Jisoo beat you to it anyway.
"...Thank you. I didn't want to bring her with me at risk of her getting sicker. And everyone else was busy. Or Asleep." Jisoo looked a bit resigned. Like she expected this and it was what it was.
She brushed passed you easily, then hurrried down to her car. She might punch her dashboard out of anger and jealousy, but it's the middle of the night. No one is there to confirm or deny that part.
You took a deep breath. You didn't like that look Jisoo gave you. It made you feel gross, guilty, and quite frankly, sick to your stomach.
You don't have time to wallow, because you can hear Lia whimpering through the baby monitor placed on the coffee table.
You walked into the toddler's room to find Lia balancing over the ledge of crib. Clearly in the middle of an escape.
"Hi, Li. Do you mind if I help you?"
Lia huffed before reaching for you. You scooped the child into your arms easily. Lia cuddled herself into your neck.
"Thank you for letting me help. You give the best hugs."
The toddler lifted her head from your shoulder, "Better than mama?"
You chuckled lightly, "Yes, better hugs than your mom."
Lia laid her head back as you walked back to the livingroom. You sat down on the sofa as you waited for Jisoo to get back.
"Don't feel good." Lia mumbled tiredly into your neck.
"I know you don't. That's why your mom went to go get some medicine for you. You know, I think you hit the mom jackpot with that one."
Lia shrugged and yawned. It's only about three seconds later that the toddler passes out.
You just continued to rub the girl's back.
~•~
Jisoo came back to see Lia passed out on your chest, and you passed out on the couch.
She begrudgingly took a pic of the admittedly adorable sight.
She eventually decided to post the picture to her Instagram. Jealousy only partially driving that decision.
Jisoo pocketed her phone and stood in the door way for a few more seconds. Lia looked very content to stay where she was, so Jisoo let her.
She sighed, "I'm working on it, kid. I just wish I knew what I was up against."
~•~
You woke up without the crick in your neck you thought you would. You soon realized it was because you were in a bed and not on the couch you had vaguely remembered falling asleep on.
You hobbled out of the bed. You peered into Lia's room to find her sleeping soundly in the crib.
You then padded into the living room next. The tv was on but it didn't seem obvious that it was being watched.
"Morning." You jumped clear out of your skin.
You turned around to the voice. Jisoo was standing at the kitchen island, sipping on a cup of coffee. Jisoo looked like she had gotten exactly zero hours of sleep that night. Her face was blank and she was wearing the same thing she had left in.
"Morning... How'd I get into your bed?"
"I carried you there. You looked uncomfortable." Jisoo's face remained blank. Her eyes pointed in the direction of the television.
"Where did you sleep?"
"I didn't."
"Chu."
"Thanks for watching Lia again." Jisoo's jaw clenched and her leg bounced on the linoleum, "I'll see you later."
You wrapped your arms around yourself. You nodded as you headed for the front door.
"Tell Lia I'll see her next week?"
Jisoo only hummed.
You took a shakey breath as you left the apartment. You left the building with arms still wrapped around yourself.
Somehow, this felt more like the walk of shame then leaving Rosé's had.
You pulled out your phone and dialed a familiar number.
"What's up?"
"Can we meet up, I really need to talk."
"Of course. You know where to meet me. Give me ten minutes."
You breathed a watery sigh of relief, "Thank you."

3 | Slytherin Nerd
Series: Little Things
Paring: Mattheo Riddle x OFC Potter!
Word Count: 2.4k
A/N: Might be a few mistakes
| MASTERLIST |
In the great hall while we were all studying the boys wouldn't shut up, and I've noticed over the past few days Pansy is the type of girl who tries to fit in with the guys.
"You're good at potions, right?" Mattheo sits next to me.
"Yeah. And you heard from the other Slytherin's that if you need help come to me?" I giggle.
"Yeah."
"Mattheo, who was your dad?" Draco asks.
Also yeah, over the days Mattheo has been way more outgoing fitting right in with the other Slytherin's mostly Draco's group. "I don't know." I notice his body language changed, so I knew he was lying to Draco.
"Draco, I'm trying to help him study." I huff.
"Sorry, nerd." I roll my eyes.
"Hey, she may be a nerd but she's helped us pass assignments." Theo tells him.
"He's right." Enzo nods his head.
I grab my stuff and tell Mattheo to come with me down to an empty part of the table. "They never shut up." Mattheo says making me giggle.
"You do the exact same thing all the time with them when you aren't the one trying to study." I explain to him.
"Hey, at least I don't join the conversations about how purebloods are better wizards. I was told my biological parents did and my adoptive parents don't. Also when you think about it it's nasty." He makes a point making me laugh but then stop.
"So your real parents were on the bad side? I think they were called Death Eaters."
He sighs, "Actually both but my adoptive ones have changed their ways. My adoptive dad works in the Muggle world and my adoptive mom works in the Ministry of Magic that deals with Muggle-borns." He explains to me.
"That's good. Since I grew up outside of magic and know nothing about what happened, I've been-,"
He cuts me off, "Reading anything you can find about what happened. I know. You're eyes are always glue to something." I laugh.
"Can't help I'm a book worm. Can I ask you a question?" He nods his head. "Why did you lie to Draco about your dad?" I whisper to him.
"You noticed, huh." He whispers too so I nod my head. "It's just he was a really bad person and I don't wanna be like him or associated with him. Don't tell anyone I told you."
I nod my head, "I promise."
He gives me a smile as there was a sudden boom making us all look at the Gryffindor table. "Are you excited for flying?" Mattheo changes the topic.
"I'm sure us as first years aren't going to actually fly yet." I explain to him.
"True." He says before we all start to get ready to go outside.
Madame Hooch has tells us what to do by stepping up to the left side of our brooms then stick our right hand over the broom and say up. Harry gets his up right before me then a few seconds later Draco does too.
"Well you seem like you got it down." Theo laughs at me.
I couldn't help but laugh when Ron's hits him in the face. "Shut up, Harry. You too Hazel." Ron glares over at me.
Once we got a hold of our brooms she told us to mount it and grip it tight. She wants us just to hover for a minute but Neville doesn't have control and takes off and ends up hurting himself.
"Draco that's not yours." I see him pick up Neville's Remembrall.
"Did you see his face? Maybe if that fat lump had given this a squeeze, he would have remembered to fall on his fat ass." Draco says making the Slytherin's laugh.
Harry goes up to him saying to give it back but Draco doesn't want to. Draco fly's off then Harry goes after him. "Your brother can fly well for his first time." Sienna walks up to me.
"Well? No, great for his first time." Willow joins us.
"You can't stand him." Mattheo laughs.
"How can you tell?" I look at him.
"I just can."
When Harry comes back with the ball McGonagall takes Harry away but I don't think he will get in trouble. While I walk around school with the girls, Theo and Enzo come up to us. "Did you hear?" Enzo asks us.
"What?" Sienna asks.
"Harry is the new Gryffindor Seeker." Enzo tells us.
"No way! First years never make the house teams." She freaks out.
"I feel like it shouldn't be far." Theo rolls his eyes.
"Well if he's really good then it's fine. He's got a natural talent." I speak up.
"Of course you will say that he's your brother." Theo gives me a look.
"Of course you will say what you said because you're jealous he's a natural at flying." I snap back.
"There's a Slytherin characteristic I've been waiting to see." He smirks at me.
"Shut up, Theodore." I smile leaving them going over to Harry, Ron and Hermione. "I heard the good news." I grab Harry by his shoulders.
"I just told Harry it's in your blood. Follow me." Hermione leads us to a part of the school and points something out to us.
We see our dad was all a seeker. "Wow, you get to be part of something dad was apart of." I smile at Harry.
"Hey, next year you should try out to be the seeker for Slytherin. Maybe you are just as good too. Siblings rivals." Hermione laughs.
"Well I don't know if I'm any good. I didn't get to get my feet off the ground." I explain to them. "
But like Harry you got the broom to go up in your hand right away." Ron adds before they go to there common room and I go to mine.
"Where did you go off to?" Enzo asks as I join them.
"Hermione showed Harry and I that our dad was also the seeker for Gryffindor." I take a seat.
"That Mudblood." Draco makes a disgusting face and a few laugh with him.
"You can be an ass with your Pureblood supremacy but I want no part in that. So try to stay quiet when I'm around you. It's funny you think you're better when in reality it's just a bunch of marrying into the same family multiple of times. Basically every Pureblood wizard is related to each other some way. Sorry but I don't want to marry my cousin." I snap standing up going to the other side of the room.
"Hazel..." Pansy follows me.
"What?" I open my book.
"I know we have different beliefs and when you are around me... I will try to control it because I think it's an advantage to have a Potter as a friend." I look up at her.
"So you just see me as an advantage?" I say and she's lost for words. "Pansy, you are nice when you aren't being a mean girl. But I don't wanna be friends with someone like that because I grew up getting picked on by my cousin. Now please tell the others I want to be alone." She just looks down and leaves.
I sit alone and read my book for awhile till someone comes sits next to me. "I really want to know why the sorting hat put you here." Theo closes my book.
"Because I have stronger Slytherin traits over my Gryffindor traits. You and a few others only ask that because I'm not a bully like you. Being a Slytherin it's not about being a bully... it's about the ambition, resourcefulness, determination, and cleverness we have. From what I've gather Slytherin only had a bad reputation because of rude bullies like you all." I explain to him.
Theo just starts to shake his head smiling at me, "Hazel Potter, I think you are trying to make me a better person." He laughs. "Only around you though. I got a reputation with the guys." He gets up leaving me.
"Mattheo." I say his name as he walks pass me.
"Thought you wanted to be alone." He walks over to me.
"Theo, ruined it by coming over." I laugh as he sits next to me.
"I know I'm you're favorite out of the guys." He laughs making me look at him.
"Can you read minds or something?" I raise an eyebrow at him.
"Nope, I can just read your eyes." I nod my head looking at him.
-
"Morning." Enzo walks by my side as we head to class.
"Morning. Where's your two other Musketeers?" I don't see Theo and Mattheo.
"Where's your two?" He looks for Willow and Sienna.
"Getting ready still." I say as we walk into Professor Flitwick class. "You're here early." I see Draco sitting with his dogs.
"I beat you here? Wow." He laughs as I take a seat with Enzo.
Suddenly Mattheo and Theo come crashing in bickering and pushing each other. "I called it first." Theo pulls Mattheo back and rushes to the seat next to me.
"Fine, you win." Mattheo sits on the other side of Enzo.
"What?" I ask confused.
"A bet/race." They both say together.
"Okay..."
During class we go over what we've been learning and now get to levitate at feather. "Swish and Flick." We all repeat with him. "And enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa." He tells us and we all try. I was first to get it and the boys call me a nerd again but Flitwick only notices that Hermione got.
As Theo goes to say something Seamus makes another explosion with his feather this time. "Professor, Hazel levitated her feather before Granger did." Theo speaks up making Flitwick apologize for not seeing me first.
"You didn't have to do that." I turn my head to look at him.
"I wanna make sure my friend got noticed." He smiles.
After class we walk behind Ron, Harry, Seamus and Dean. "She's a nightmare, honestly. No wonder she hasn't got any friends." Ron says making her rush past them.
"I think she heard you." Harry tells him.
"Really guys?" I shake my head at them going after Hermione. "Don't let people get to you. You're smart and were just trying to help him say it right." I say as we both enter the bathroom.
"I get made fun of for being smart." She wipes her tears away.
"I think it's more because you show off how smart you are." I laugh. "Hey, I get made fun for being smart too." I try to help her out. "If you need a friend to talk to I'm here for you. I could really use friends outside of my house because they will drive me insane at some point." I say making her chuckle a little bit.
"Thank you, Hazel." She smiles.
"I know the feelings of wanting to cry alone so I'll leave you be." I back out to the door.
"Thanks for being the first to let me call them a friend." She sniffles.
"Of course." I leave the bathroom.
"Your mu- your friend okay?" Theo asks waiting for me in the hall with Mattheo and Enzo.
"She just needs some space to cry. I know the feeling very well." I tell them before we go on our way to finish our classes.
-
"Potter, did you take notes during potions?" Draco asks me as we all eat dinner.
"Did you really just asked her that?" Pansy gives him a look.
"You heard what I asked. So?" Draco asks.
"Yes, Malfoy, I did. And no, you can't copy them." I smile at him.
"Why not?" He he stops eating.
"Because instead of paying attention you were messing around with Crabbe and Goyle." I tell him.
"You can copy mine." Theo lets him know.
"But they aren't your notes... You copied from Hazel." Mattheo laughs.
"They're in my book so they are my notes." He shrugs his shoulders.
"Troll! In the dungeon! Troll in the dungeon! Thought you ought of know." Professor Quirrell comes running in then passes out. We all panic so Dumbledore yells for us to be silent then lead to our dorms by our prefects.
"I wanna see it." Theo stops me and Mattheo.
"Are you crazy?" I shout at him.
"Where is your brother going?" We see Harry and Ron run off so the guys drag me to follow them. "We lost them because you're so slow." Theo whines as we walk around empty halls.
"I don't want to get in trouble." I say then hear yelling. "Hermione!" I run ahead of the boys and they follow me.
As I enter the bathroom I see Harry on the trolls shoulders. "Harry!" I shout as the boys join me.
"Ew." Ron, Theo, and Mattheo say as Harry's wand goes in the trolls nose.
"Do something!" Harry shouts as the troll holds him upside down.
"What?" Ron looks around. "
Anything!" Harry tells.
Ron pulls out his wand, "Flitwick's class!" Theo shouts at Ron.
"Swish and Flick." I tell Ron.
"Wingardium Leviosa." Ron stops the troll from hitting Harry with his club. It falls down on its head and knocks him out. Harry crawls backwards and Mattheo helps him move out of the way.
"You okay?" I ask him and Hermione.
"Is it dead?" Theo asks.
"I don't think so. Just knocked out." Harry tells him then pulls out his wand.
Professor McGonagall, Quirrell, and Snape come rushing in. "Explains yourselves, all five of you!" She points at us.
"Well, what it is-," We all five start to speak.
"It's my fault, Professor McGonagall." Hermione speaks up making us all look at her. She lies saying she went looking for the troll because she read about them and thought she could handle it. "But I was wrong. If they hadn't come and found me, I'd probably be dead." Hermione tells her.
"5 points will be taken from Gryffindor. As for you five... I just hope you realize how fortunate you are. Not many first year students could take on a fully grown mountain troll and live to tell the tale. 5 points... will be awarded to each of you... for sheer dumb luck." We all leave going to our dorms.
"Thanks for helping us." Harry says as we get to the part we split off.
"Theo wanted to find it just for fun but then I heard Hermione yell so I ran fast." I smile to her.
"Thank you." She smiles back.
"Anytime." I wave goodbye.
"We just got 15 house points because I wanted to see the troll." Theo wants a high five.
"We got them because Granger said we helped save her." Mattheo smacks him as we make our way to the dorm.

Meet Me in the Woods
Someone To Stay Ch. 7
Spencer x fem reader
After dinner, the guys and girls split up into their separate rooms, taking turns in the showers. After you finished washing up, you put on some red, plaid pajama pants, a black tank top, and a pair of slippers that looked like bear paws. You made your way into the kitchen, where Rossi was cleaning up.
"You didn't happen to bring marshmallows, did you?" You ask, eyebrows raised.
"You read my mind, kid." Rossi gives you a wink as he hands you a bag, already full of everything you need.
While he finishes, cleaning you make your way outside. All you can hear is the sound of crickets and the wind in the trees. It's like music to your ears, so peaceful. You walk across the back patio that overlooks the lake, heading towards the fire pit. Sitting on one of the log benches, you start to pull out all the supplies you need. After gathering some kindling, you start a fire in the stone fire pit, giving it a poke here and there to help get it going. Within a few minutes, the fire has grown to a decent size, and you can feel it's warmth from your seat.
It's not long before the doors open and the rest of the group joins you, gathering around the fire. Everyone grabs a skewer and starts roasting their marshmallows. Derek gets a little over eager with the fire and keeps burning his, so JJ has to help him out. The chocolate Rossi brought to use isn't plain Hershey's, but instead it's Ghirardli chocolate with different fillings like caramel or raspberry! These have to be some of the best s'mores you've ever tasted.
Once everyone is snacking on their s'mores, you hear Spencer speak up. "Alright! Who wants to hear a ghost story?"
The group lets out some claps and cheers for him.
You watch as his face changes and he lets the group get quiet as he sets the mood for the story. He pulls a candle out from somewhere behind his seat and lights it in the fire. He holds it in front of his face as he begins to speak, but stops when he hears a snicker. He turns and gives you a serious look.
"I'm so sorry!" You and JJ both giggle, trying to pull yourselves together. "It's just really funny watching you take this so seriously."
He rolls his eyes at you, but you swear you almost see a smile. He tries to get back in character before starting.
"In Fredericksburg, Virginia...there is a hospital that would seem completely normal to most people. But to anyone who has been a patient on the 4th floor, they know better." He uses overly dramatic inflection in his voice, which only makes it more humorous.
"Really Spencer...the hospital where I work?"
He stops again, turning to you. "You know what ghosts really hate? People who interrupt. That's right! And they're coming for you next." He gives you a shove, and neither of you can keep a straight face anymore. You're both laughing, trying to catch your breath.
"Hey! I want to hear the rest of the story!" Penelope pipes up.
"Oh please he's just making it up as he goes along. It's not even that scary." You joke, playfully.
"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that, but I think we all know who did hear it..." he says in his spookiest voice. "Anyways! Like I said, the 4th floor is haunted. Patients who stay in rooms 26 and 27 have reported seeing a young boy and young girl. They say the girl always asks them if they want to play with her ball. Other patients have said they can hear a ball bouncing in the hallway in the latest hours of the night."
You shift, a bit uneasy in your seat. This was starting to sound familiar. It reminded you of stories you had heard from coworkers...but how would he know about this? You normally aren't spooked easily, but as Spencer continues, the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
He continues the story. "They say the only people they really go after are the staff. They wait until their guard is down, the sneak up behind them, and..."
"GOTCHA!" You jump up from your seat as someone grabs you from behind.
You look down to see Derek Morgan, bent over with laughter, tears in his eyes. Spencer is laughing just as hard, if not harder. The rest of the team joins in, and after your nerves settle, so do you.
"You planned this didn't you?!" You yell at the two of them, trying to stifle a laugh and be serious.
The pair of them still laughing too hard to even speak. You have your answer.
"Well that's enough fun for me. I'm headed to bed, anyone else?" Rossi gets up and everyone else joins him, heading inside.
When you step inside, you grab your green, plaid, wool blanket off the couch and carry it back out to the patio. Everyone is already getting ready for bed, so no one notices. You spread it out on the deck and turn off the porch light. You finally lay down on your back, looking straight up at the night sky. You could see a few stars from where you live, but out here there are more than you could ever count. It looks like pixie dust, spread across a deep abyss of black. You take a deep breath in, smelling the forest. For you, it doesn't get any better than this.
You soon hear the patio door open and close, followed by footsteps. You see Spencer standing over you, looking down at you with curiosity. He's changed into purple PJ pants and a Star Wars shirt.
"Whatcha doin?"
"Taking it all in." You smile up at him.
"Mind if I join?"
You scoot over, making extra room as you pat the spot next to you on the blanket.
You let out a long sigh, feeling completely content and relaxed. "I don't know what it is, about space, the stars, the galaxy...but I have always been so mesmerized by all of it. Part of me just appreciates how beautiful it is and part of me appreciates how it is all so much bigger than me. It's beyond what I can ever wrap my head around. There's nothing I wouldn't do to one day take a trip up there."
"Do you know the story of Perseus?" Spencer asks before explaining. He's learned not to underestimate your random knowledge as well.
"Believe it or not, I do actually."
Spencer smiles to himself. "I'm not surprised. Anyways, so there is Cephus at the top, Cassiopeia below him to the right, then Andromeda, and finally Perseus at the bottom left."
Your face twist in confusion. You don't see any of it, but you're too embarrassed to admit this, so you nod as if you see them. You sometimes forget what Spencer does for his job. He scoots closer to you to share your line of vision. He then looks at you and smiles before grabbing your hand and directing your pointer finger along the path of each constellation.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" You ask him.
"What is?"
"All of it. The stars, the trees, the sounds, the smells...it's perfect." You close your eyes feeling completely at peace in this moment.
You don't see Spencer roll his head to look at you.
"Yeah, really beautiful." He responds.
You feel your body relaxing and slipping away from the moment as you fall closer towards sleep. The next thing you know you feel arms slipping underneath you and lifting you from the ground. Mostly asleep, you absent-mindedly wrap your arms around the figure carrying you. You feel your body being carried up and then tucked underneath you bed comforter. Your eyes flit open for only a moment. Through the thick darkness you barely make out Spencer's outline climbing back down the ladder and quietly slipping out of the room. This is the last thing you see before you are awoken by the scent of smokey bacon.
You open your eyes and look around the room to see all three other ladies are still fast asleep. Sunlight is dripping into the room from between the curtains. You carefully make your way down from your top bunk and tip toe out of the room, trying to avoid any squeaky wooden floorboards.
When you finally reach the kitchen, you are surprised to see Hotch cooking breakfast. He's smiling and flipping pancakes at the stove. You haven't known him very long, but this is still not something you would have expected from him.
"Goodmorning" you yawn, rubbing your eyes and adjusting to the sunlight flooding in from the large kitchen windows.
"Morning!" he beamed. "Care for some pancakes?"
"Pancakes sound wonderful, thanks! Need any help?"
"You can set the table if you don't mind."
"Not at all! Happy to help," You give him a smile as you start to pull place settings out from the cabinets.
"So, pancakes from scratch...where did you learn that?"
He lets out a small chuckle. "Rossi's not the only one who can cook ya know. Truthfull though, I learned a lot from my wife Haley. She was a great mom, and a wonderful cook." He smiles as he seems to get caught up in a memory, but you can here the sadness lacing his tone.
You can't help but inquire. "Was?"
He looks down at the bacon he is now grilling, avoiding eye contact as he continues.
"She was my ex wife for only a little while before she was killed. It was a serial killer that the team should have...that I should have caught." He has stopped cooking and is now gripping the counter infant of him, as though he was trying to keep himself from falling over.
You may not know him well, but your job had made you fairly comfortable with talking to people dealing with situations such as this, so you decide to approach him. You place a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"I'm so sorry, that you and your son have had to go through that. No one should ever be put through that much trauma. But I can tell its made you really strong. And your son, he's lucky to have a dad who cares so much about him and keeps him safe."
Hotch takes a deep breath before continuing his cooking as he flips a few pieces of bacon and pours another pancake. He then turns to you and gives a warm genuine smile.
"Thank you, Y/N. I really appreciate it, truly. We have all been through a lot. And I'm not the only one who's lost someone because of this job..."
He trails off when you expected him to continue. There was something about the way he said that last part that made you believe he wanted to say more. Could he be talking about Spencer? Who did he lose? What happened to them? When did it happen?
Questions start to flood your mind but are quickly pushed to the back as the rest of the team starts to make their way into the kitchen for breakfast.
Everyone is talking about their plans for the day. So you turn to Spencer.
"I have something fun planned, if you're willing to trust me."
He raises his eyebrows, intrigued.
"Well I trusted you yesterday and I turned out okay" he laughs.
"Well it's definitely more laid back, even relaxing. If you want you can even bring a book."
He puts his elbows on the table and leans forward on his hands. You've clearly peaked his interest.
"Ok you've won me over. What is it?"
"A surprise." You smile as you grab both of your empty plates and bring them to the sink to wash them off.
"Well can you at least tell me what I need to wear for this?"
You take a minute to think.
"Definitely sun screen and probably something can get a little bit wet or dirty and also some sturdy shoes."
You both make your way to your rooms to get ready. You find the other three ladies already getting dressed and packed for their planned activities.
Alex is getting ready to go on a hike with Rossi and Hotch. JJ and Morgan are taking some rental jet skis out on the lake. Penny will be relaxing on her float again.
You put on a grey tank with an open, oversized navy flannel, some grey khaki shorts, and chacos . You grab your north face backpack and head to the kitchen to sort through the snacks. The backpack gets filled with granola bars, fresh fruit, cashews, and water bottles.
As you are finishing up, Spencer makes his way out of his room. He's in a half zip grey long sleeve, khaki shorts and tennis shoes. It doesn't look ah all like something he'd usually wear.
"Nice outfit" you smile at him.
"Oh uhh thanks, I borrowed the shirt from Hotch and the shorts aren't something I usually wear, but I brought them on the trip just in case." He seems to be blushing a bit. You feel bad, thinking you've must have embarrassed him.
"No really though, the outdoors look, it works for you." You elbow him as you giggle. The blush on his face turns a dark shade of red. Maybe he's really not used to getting told he looks good. This seems a bit crazy to you. He's ridiculously attractive. So much so that you brushed off any possibility of anything happening the night you met him. Spencer was just a friend, and that's exactly what you needed.
You throw on your back pack and lead the two of you out the glass doors and down the patio steps. You make your way further away from the cabin until the only thing left surrounding the two of you are trees.
The two of you walk for a couple minutes in a comfortable silence. You take in the sound of leaves crunching under your feet, wind in the trees, birds chirping. You look up to see sunlight streaming through the leaves of the trees above you. The path is covered by a canopy of green and gold. It's almost magical. You finally look over to see Spencer with a big smile on his face. He's looking around in awe. You have a feeling he doesn't do this sort of thing often.
"Wow" he breathes out. "It's so beautiful and calm. It's almost a bit..."
"Magical?" You interject. He looks down at you in surprise to see you smiling back up at him. He just smiles and nods.
You finally make your way to dock at the edge of the lake. You toss your back back into a red canoe tied up on the dock.
"We're going out on the lake?" He questions.
"Yeah is that okay?"
"Yeah that's ok. I've never actually been in a canoe before, I'm not sure how much help I'll be rowing."
"That's ok, Spencer. We're just here to relax and have fun" you reassure him.
You motion for him to step in first. You untie the boat from the dock push it off into the water as you jump in at the other end. You instruct him to turn around and face the front and hand him one paddle. You call out instructions to help him with pace and directions. After a couple minutes, he starts to get the hang of it. I mean, he has a PhD in engineering, you're not surprised.
Eventually, the boat is fairly far from shore and you both put down your paddles as he turns to face you. You reach into your backpack and pull out blankets to lay across the seats. Then you pull out the snacks and the water.
"A picnic on the lake, huh?" He gives a slight chuckle.
"Yeah" you shrug. "A bit cheesy, I know."
"It's perfect." He glances up at you with a genuine toothy grin on his face. He looks really happy. When you see this you can't help the ever growing smile on your face.
"What gave you this idea?" he asks as he starts munching on some cashews and grapes.
"Well, I love hiking, I love the water, and you already know I love food. So why not combine all three? Plus, there's just something really therapeutic about being in a boat out on the water, rowing, the only sound is your paddle in the water."
"Well I hope you don't mind, I brought something. I didn't know what we'd be doing, but I thought it might come in handy. Um it's not mine and Derek had to show me how to set it up. It's probably stupid anyways."
"I wanna see!" You give him a light shove on the shoulder.
He reaches into the backpack he brought and pulls out a Bluetooth speaker. Next he pulls out his phone and you hear the beep as it connects. You're incredibly intrigued at this point. The next thing you know, you hear the hear the gentle harmonica and acoustic guitar as "Ghost on the Shore" by Lord Huron fills the air around you.
You lean back on your hands, tears threaten to fill the brims of your eyes.
"Spencer... this is really, really sweet. How did you even find this song?"
"I noticed you looking at some of their music in that coffee shop with the music store. I listened to a little bit, and I really liked this song. I figured you would too."
"It's one of my favorites."
The two of you spend more time listening to music,
snacking, and just taking in the beauty of the nature around you. Way off in the distance you hear laughter and can see JJ and Derek racing around on their jet skis. You decide to head back and join the others, music still sounding from the speaker tucked into a side pocket of his backpack. "Meet Me in the Woods" echoes through the trees as you hike back towards the cabin together. Today had turned out even better than you ever could have planned.

I read this fic recently where after giving izuku his quirk, all might works him way to hard, forces him to hide his pain from others, and hurts him when he can't hide it. All the while, izuku thinks its normal, and that all might is just trying to help him. could you do a one shot where dadzawa finds out and goes all "you will never touch this child again" mode? please i need comfort after all the angst.
Anon if it’s the fic I’m thinking of...I understand, here’s some comfort and if I can fit it in some Dadzawa fluff🖤
Also I’m using this song as inspiration cause it fits the way Aizawa would be feeling during the whole thing
Also sorry for my sins, I wanted to make it DAD Dadzawa 🙏
All of the students were back with their families for golden week so Aizawa was taking his time to get back home from the meeting with Ally Cat and the other vigilantes. He was going across an alcove that held a hidden beach when he heard the sound of retching. Normally that wouldn’t be enough to draw him in, drunks weren’t worth the trouble if they weren’t causing problems, what did have him looking down into the alcove was the sob that followed. It was the sob of a child, a child he had thought was safely at home with their mother.
Midoriya Izuku was huddling into the back of the alcove, right up against the rock of the short cliff, shivering and dry heaving. He was covered in dark marks and smudges, his shirt was way too thin for the weather and his wasn’t wearing any shoes. In the dark his hair and the smudges looked black while his pale skin looked sickly in the moonlight. Aizawa’s instincts had him jumping down the cliff in an instant, that probably wasn’t the best idea because the small boy flinched and curled into himself like he expected a blow. From here Aizawa could smell iron along with the bile. Midoriya was bleeding.
“Midoriya?” No response, “Midoriya?” Still nothing. Aizawa sat down in front of the boy, minding the sick, and tried again, “Izuku?” The kid’s head snapped up at the use of his first name. “S-Sensei? Why are y-you he-here?” Midoriya asked with chattering teeth. Thanking kami that he was in civilian clothes Aizawa took off his coat and draped it over his student’s trembling shoulders. “Well kid I could ask you that same question, I’m a off duty underground hero. What’s your reason?” He gently reached out and tilted Midoriya’s head so the light hit him better, the kid had a black eye that was swollen shut and a busted lip. “Who did this to you?” His voice remained calm but the instincts that made him jump down here were yelling at him to take this kid and book it. There was a crunch in the sand behind him just as Midoriya’s eyes grew wide and he gasped out “All Might”.
The crunch turned out to be a stray dog that came up to sniff them, whimpering into Midoriya’s side while the boy took to slowly petting its head. It didn’t take an idiot to put together the clues, the kid had a quirk he couldn’t control, he seemed unused to praise, he and Yagi knew each other before class, the low self worth, the clear aftermath of a harsh beating, and the fear at being found by Yagi. Obviously Midoriya was being abused by his father, a man who claimed that the boy was not in fact his. Aizawa had looked into the kid, he knew the boy got his quirk late and he wasn’t a stranger to a father leaving because of a quirk. It was plausible that a dead-beat might come back once he thought his kid was worth something now. “Midoriya does your mother know where you are?” He hopes that she doesn’t, that she wasn’t letting this happen. The boy stiffens and the dog whimpers again trying to snuggle the kid. “N-no, she d-doesn’t n-n-know. She i-is out of town.” Midoriya’s answer rings with a hollow note. “Mid- Izuku, where are you stay while she’s out of town?” The gut feeling is eating at him now chanting a montra of ‘grab him and run, hide’ and he was so close to giving in.
Midoriya didn’t get a chance to answer because another crunch in the sand, this one much heavier announced the arrival of someone else. The dog stood in the kid’s lap and growled. The figure standing behind Aizawa was the skeletal form of Toshinori Yagi. It wasn’t the Yagi or All Might Aizawa was used to and annoyed by, this Yagi had looked less like death was at his door and more like he was the reaper coming to collect his bounty. “Midoriya you shouldn’t run off like that, look you’ve worried this poor man and his dog. Come along we need to go back to the agency.” And if Aizawa hadn’t grown up hearing the same tone of fake concern from his mother or afterwards when dealing with domestic abuse cases he might have fallen for it. Standing up to his full height and letting all the protective rage and childhood fear fuel the fire behind his glare Aizawa growled out, “he isn’t going back with you. He’s never going with you anywhere again! I don’t care if he is your kid or not Yagi, you are never laying a hand on him or going near him again! I’ll make sure of it!” All Might blinks in shock then recognition, “Hello Aizawa, didn’t take you as a dog person. Now why can’t I take my charge back with me? He’s my responsibility.” The titan asked, the threat in Aizawa’s words either not taken seriously or not understood. “Because Yagi, he was scared to death that it was you when I found him. He’s terrified and covered in injuries and blood. You are not getting him back ever.” The anger and panic in his gut turned from a hot feverish wild fire to a freezing acidic poison that laced his every word. He would fight the world’s number one, the devil himself, to protect Izuku.
After a great time of staring each other down All Might yields and takes a step back. “Fine, keep him, but I’ll always be there. He can’t escape his destiny and we’ll always be connected.” He states the last bit towards the boy still cowering behind the dog. The dog growls again and lowers into a fighting stance. “His destiny is his to decide. Being his father doesn’t automatically his dad, it doesn’t make you connected. Don’t ever think it does.” Aizawa declares with the wisdom of someone who had to find that knowledge firsthand. All Might scofts and walks away a dismissive wave of his hand.
Aizawa stands there for a long while making sure the skeletal was really gone before he turns back to the two behind him. Izuku is staring with his one good eye like the world had just flipped upside down. As gently as he can muster Aizawa starts talking to Izuku “Hey kid, it’s going to be okay. I know it might not make sense now but you’re safe now, what was happening with you and him was not how anyone should treat you. I won’t let him make you think it’s okay just because you share dna. I won’t let him hurt you again, you’re safe.” The kid still looks so lost but he nods, it looks like it causes him pain though.
“Okay first thing first, medical care.” The boy opens his mouth to argue, “Kid you look worse than I did at USJ please don’t try to fight me on this.” Aizawa pleads as he pulls out his phone and calls Ally Cat, they should still be awake and they have a car. The conversation is short and to the point, Cat will be picking them up with a change of clothes and some flip-flops for the kid and a leash for the stray. “Thanks for doing this Cat, I know it’s short notice.” “All emergencies are short notice Eraser, I got your back.” “See you soon” “you know it” And with that everything is set into motion, slowly but in motion non the less. He looks back at Izuku after he hangs up, the kid is dozing off with his hands in the dog’s fur. If it wasn’t for the injuries and time of night Aizawa could pretend that they were just at the beach for the peaceful silence. He figured he could take them to a different beach, make better memories, once the kid wasn’t beat to hell and back. “Huh, guess I have a kid and dog now. Mic and everyone aren’t going to let me live this down.” He muses just as a black mini-van pulls to the side of the road above them. “Cat must have been worried” he huffs as he carefully scoops up Izuku and heads around the side of the aclove and up to the road, dog loyaly following.
Izuku had three cracked ribs, neck and shoulder injuries like that of a retired boxer, and a fractured cheek bone. The doctor was suspicious of the duo when they came into the hospital but after Aizawa showed him his hero ID and explained it as an abuse case the worried anger faded. Aizawa didn’t blame the man for thinking the worst. As they waited for more tests to come back and the boy to wake up from the use of a healing quirk Aizawa called Nezu to inform him about what had happened and they made plans to have Yagi removed from the school quickly & quietly. After that the kid was still sleeping and the doctors saw he wouldn’t be waking for a least another hour or two so Aizawa texted Cat about the dog.
E: is it chipped
A: nope
E: can your friends have it checked over and chipped today?

He ignores the next text because Izuku wakes up. The kid looks lost again, just rotating his arm with the iv in it and mumbling to himself. “Hey champ, you fell asleep before we got you here.” Aizawa explains slowly because the pain meds might be messing with the kid’s head. The kid just looks up at him with pinched eyebrows and confusion,”we?” His voice is so small and dry, Aizawa grabs a cup and fills it up from the sink in the room they are in. “Yeah my friend drove us here. They took the dog to a vet to get checked over too.” He elaborates as Izuku drinks the water. “If you want to we can keep her, the dog I mean, she isn’t chipped and my friend thought you might want to keep her.” He asks a bit unsure of how to address what happened without causing the kid more stress. “But the dorms don’t allow pets if it’s not for a quirk or medical reasons.” The kid says sadly. And that wasn’t going to stand on Aizawa’s watch, he claimed this kid and he was going to be the best guardian he could be. “She doesn’t have to stay at the dorms, she can live at home.” He assures the kid.
But now the kid is tearing up and the man did not know what he did wrong or how to set things right. “I don’t have anywhere else to take her, mom got caught in a villain attack at work. The whole building came down. Yagi-Sensei had been letting me stay at this agency.” And just fuck, Aizawa hadn’t been told Ms Midoriya had passed and he had a feeling non of the other staff did either. “Izuku, you don’t have to ever go back with him but you can’t not have a home. After tonight I think Yagi will sign his parental rights over to me but only if you are okay with it. If not then we can figure out something else or make you a ward like Er-“ He stops mid sentence as Izuku hugs him, burying his bandaged cheeks into Aizawa’s neck. All The man can do as the kid clings to him is cling back, he had no idea when the last time an adult showed this kid love so he held the boy close. “He- he’s not my d-dad Aizawa-Sensei, my dad g-g-gave me up years ago. Yagi-Sensei du-doesn’t have p-parental rights.” The kid admits as he sobs, his voice just barely above a whisper. “I didn’t want to be alone.” Izuku confesses, breaking the heart of the man holding him.
When doctors give them the okay and Izuku has gotten himself back together enough to put on the clothes Cat had brought Aizawa has Cat take them to His apartment near U.A. the shiba is waiting in the back of the van with a shiny red leather collar. Izuku and the dog fall asleep quickly. “So Sho, this mean you’re gonna petition for custody?” Cat asks as they drive, careful to not to wake the kid with the sudden sound. “Don’t have to, circumstances have changed. I’ll just have to file for adoption.” He sighs, he knows they won’t pry into it while everything is still happening so he feels safe enough to let them know. “Cool, just remember I called dibs on being the cool auncle. I’m spoiling him and that sweet pup.” They remind the tired man as he spots the apartment building up ahead. “You’ll have to fight Mic but I think being spoiled by both of you idiots will be good for him.” He laughs softly as he pictures the gift war that’s bound to happen now. “Don’t worry Mr Dad, I think you’ll spoil him enough before we can. You gave him a dog and he’s not even your kitten yet.” They tease.
It’s been three weeks and Izuku settles into his new bedroom with his new dog, Kēki, the room is kind of baren but he didn’t have a lot to decorate with yet. He’d thrown out or given away most of his hero merchandise, only keeping a few things his mom gave him. He was looking forward to the next week, Shota had told him that the papers were in and that by that time they would approve the adoption. Soon Izuku would be Midoriya-Aizawa Izuku, he wouldn’t have thought he’d like living with his teacher but the man gave off the same soft caring aura Izuku’s mom had...just in a quiet way. While the man wasn’t very physically affectionate he did listen when Izuku needed him, he asked questions about Izuku’s interests and goals and just overall made the kid feel like he mattered.
Izuku loves his dad, he hadn’t really known his birth dad so it was easy to give that title to the man that had taken him in so readily. Life was looking up, All might had been let go from U.A. and wasn’t allowed to teach ever again. Grand Torino had reached out in condolences when he heard that his non-grandson had lost his mother, the old man offered to watch him if the situation ever occurred. So now Izuku had a dad, most of the staff of his school as aunts and uncles, some odd vigilante that called themself his ‘auncle’, Kēki, and a grandpa! He still missed his mom but his dad had sent him to therapy to work through what All Might had put him through and Izuku had discovered he had some deeper issues of self worth and expecting abuse from those around him. So things were steadily getting better, not noticeably but he was just starting.
“Izuku! Kēki! I brought home dinner!” Shota called as he locked the door back. An exicited kid and dog bound into the front room looking so happy that Shota had to blink away from their brightness. “Come one lets eat while it’s still hot.” He laughs as he carries the bags of take out to the coffee table by the couch. As they dig in a feeling of rightness surrounds them. “Thanks dad.” “No problem Champ”
Kēki is a shiba mix with an all brown coat with a white tail that makes her look like chocolate cake with a dollop of white frosting this the name cake. Ally Cat wasn’t meant for more than just a throw away line but then they needed a car so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ hope you liked it anon
