What's the best cloud shape you've seen?? Of the few that I can remember probably dinosaur or goat Do dandelion wishes come true? Not any more or less than other wishes I think Do you like flying / If you've never flown, do you want to? I have flown a handful of times and I'm not a fan. It's Too High, it's kind of cramped, you have to crawl over people to get to the bathroom, it's not super comfortable, you have to hear other people eating, you can't snack or drink whatever / whenever you want, and depending on what I try to do on a plane I get a sort of motion sickness. One of the last times I flew on a plane I ended up throwing up upon landing. I MUCH prefer driving What is your favorite weather? Rainy!! Cold!! Thunderstorms!!!!

some extra insight/fun facts about the process of this piece below the cut 💥💥💥

posting pieces from collaborative zines is always something i struggle with because i look back and think of how i would do things differently now, but i learned a lot working on this comic and even developed some style techniques that i still use!

Fun Fact 1: the panel where shadow Fucking Disintegrates That Guy is technically traditionally drawn! i couldn't get it right in clip studio so i just started frantically scribbling in a notebook and got it eventually lol

highly highly recommend scribbling stuff out in a notebook, scanning it on your phone, and then dropping it into a canvas to edit later if you ever have trouble sketching something.

Fun Fact 2: a lot of the overlay/background effects were made in Kid Pix Deluxe 3D. i created a whole collection of various textures/abstract effects for this comic that i've been using in my art since last year. you can even find them scattered through my team dark zine lol. here's a few of them:

Fun Fact 3: i made this comic during a very busy and wild period of time last year so this is what the final panel looked like for a while before i fully finished it LMAO

More fanart for @somerandomdudelmao's apocalyptic series! This line hit me so hard as Raph saying 'again' has such a heavy weight to it, I just had to draw something about it!! Decided to go more of a heart-warming approach instead of heart-wrenching lol Elaboration spiel incoming: I have no idea what the color of Casey's outfit I used in the second drawing are supposed to be, so I made some up. Nothing too groundbreaking except for his cape. I thought it'd be a fun, cool thing that Raph's old cape was ripped and made into Casey's cape since his brothers new that Casey was so attached to him at such a young age. Raph's cape being given to him, most likely by Leo, and leading to him being told more about him as he had forgotten him. This could also link to this episode part in the series where Casey says, "Raph.. like.. the actual Raphael I've heard so much about from Sensei??" The glow and effects are supposed to represent their bond, you can even think it's Raph's ninpo emitting, I guess. In the first one, you can tell that their bond is strong and bright. In the second one, it's dim and weak as Raph realizes Casey doesn't remember him. Doesn't have that spark of recognition, from Raph being a robot and Casey being so young. In the third one, it's more of a reconnect, not what it used to be but is there nonetheless and will only continue to grow. And with Casey having the refresher of his earliest of memories, his connection with Raph is only stronger.

I have a question about the jp server pickups, since I really want knight Sebek, but I’m trying to save gems for bloom malleus + the 3rd tsum event that’s gonna show up sooner or later. Iirc, after knight Sebek, the next story update’s pickup had all of the previous story cards (ie cerberus Ortho, general Lilia, and knight Sebek). Is this true, and if it is, did it include a token system like the dorm pickups where you can just do 100 pulls and then buy the specific card you want directly? Because if that is how it works, then I can wait until then and be sure I won’t have to go to 200 for him.

we did indeed get a second chance at those three when 7-7 came out! I'm pretty sure there was not a token system -- though admittedly I don't 100% remember, sorry! 🙇 I took a quick search through some past posts/videos from people who tend to include the gacha and news stuff, but I didn't see any mention of it, so I'm inclined to think there really wasn't one. :( they were all separate pickups with their own pull counts rather than a combined one, if that info helps at all.

speaking as a strict f2p who hoards keys/gems like the lovechild of a dragon and a magpie, given the choice between saving for a story card and a birthday card, I'd go for story -- it does require a lot of patience, but there are way more opportunities to get past birthday cards, both from the anniversary events and the rerun pickups! tsums is a bit harder to say anything on because Eng doesn't follow the same event schedule, but it's a longish event and those pickups let you have a free 10-roll, so I think they're also a bit easier to save up for.

(ALSO speaking of free rolls, starting with the fifth round of birthdays -- the kutsurogi my room ones -- the birthday boy/union jacket/bloom cards have had a separate pickup that you can get two free 10-pulls at by doing missions! I got a bloom Jade from it a couple weeks ago. :D meanwhile general Lilia is the only story card I've ever managed to pull, so...I'm probably kinda biased. whoops.)

It's a few years since I am waiting to release this single. Definitely not what you would expect from TdF, but... now it's time.

"Hey Julie" is a song from 2021 album "Vargtimmar". This new and softer version is going to be released as digital single (all digital platforms) and music video (YouTube) on January 1st, 2025, in order to celebrate the 69th birthday of 李華月 (Li Huayue, alias Julie Lee). "Hey Julie" is dedicated to this cult model and actress who had success and deeply shocked Hong Kong in the middle of the 90s, before attempting suicide and then totally disappear.

A girl who had the courage to express her sexuality and freedom not caring about morality from a cruel media / show business system, which condemns and expresses judgments while in a hypocritical manner commodifies women bodies.

Congrats Julie, wherever you are, You've made it.
