shoto loves it when you give him nicknames. he of course doesn't say anything when you call him, "honey" or "sweetheart" but the tips of his ears are burning and he cant help the small smile that pulls at his lips.

but of course he gets too spoiled, and pouts whenever you call him his first name. he's stopping the conversation mid-way whenever he hears it, and pulling at your hands while saying something super dramatic and mopey like, "....do you not like me anymore?"

And you want to rush in and support him, but god he looks so funny, the emboss of his band on the back of his black hoodie shining against the LED’s of his recording studio, the hood pulled over his head spilling locks of ash hair just barely out of the pocket, and he looks so goofy and silly and sweet you want to let him have his time. The sounds of the emotions pouring through his hands makes your heart ache for him, but it gets increasingly harder to stay serious when a stupid jingle comes from the guitar.

“I hear you snickering,” he grumbles, not turning around to look at you. “This is serious, you know.”

“I’m sorry,” you say, smacking on a faux understanding tone. Padding into the room, you wrap your arms around his shoulders and nuzzle against the fabric of the hoodie concealing his head. “You wanna talk about it, or do you wanna keep summoning the ice cream man in peace?”

“Fuck, shut up,” he snorts, shoulders shaking as he laughs. You giggle with him and shift as he swivels in his chair. He gently tugs you onto his lap, and you sit comfortably on his perched legs. “You’re so mean to me.”

“You love it,” you purr, planting a kiss to his pouted lips. “What’s on your mind baby?”

And you two just. Sit there, letting him talk and mumble about everything that’s been on his mind and wracking his soul. Every now and again, you take one of the fingers that had shredded the strings of his guitar to plant tiny, sweet kisses to the pads of them and mindlessly listening, like you always would.
