Cele is fed up. His season was already going so shit and now he has broken his collarbone, he doesn’t know what he did to deserve this. Atleast he has a two week break before the next race week so he can rest, but who knows how long it’ll take to be healed.

Bezz was at the ranch with the other academy boys and Vale, they decided to have an impromptu training session during the two week break. Well him and the others are training, Cele is sitting in the corner sulking because he can’t train with them due to his collarbone. He doesn’t even know why Cele decided to come today since he knew he wasn’t allowed to ride, he could’ve stayed at home and give his collarbone some well deserved rest. But no, he was stubborn and came with Bezz, he even tried to fool everyone into thinking that he was fine to ride for a little while. But with a stern look from Vale he finally sat down.

Which brings them to now, Bezz came to drink some water while the others were still on track. As he reaches the water stand he spots Cele looking away from Bezz and sulking in the corner on a chair. Bezz picks up a bottle of water,

“Can you stop sulking already Cele?” “You knew you weren’t allowed to ride yet.” “I don’t even know why you decided to come.”

After a long pause with no answer Bezz turns to look at Cele who is still looking away from him, “Cele?”, “Are you okay?”

Again after no answer from Cele, Bezz decides to walk over to him. Cele still has his face hidden from Bezz so he crouches down in the middle of Cele’s legs to look him in the face.

That’s when he sees it, Cele’s big brown eyes filled with unshed tears.

“Cele?! What is it? Is it the collarbone? Does it hurt? Do you need something?”

Cele shakes his head but doesn’t say anything else to clarify what is wrong. Bezz takes Cele’s face in his hands and turns his head to meet his eyes.

“Baby, can you tell me whats wrong?”

“It’s just- I was already having such a shit season and now with this injury who knows if i will be able to even race next week.”

“Cele, baby, the shit season was not your fault and you know it.” “The ktm is shit but you have dragged that piece of junk to amazing places and the seasons not over yet, you can always turn it around in the second half.” He brushes his knuckles against Cele’s cheeks. “And as for the collarbone, all you can do is rest and pray that it heals quickly, which it will.” At this point one of the tears in Cele’s eyes has fallen down his cheek, Bezz raises up and captures it into a kiss on his cheek and then starts peppering kisses all over his face causing Cele to break out into small giggles.

“Now come on let’s go inside, you should rest.”

The bosses swipe him into a meeting room at Austin, and he's prepared to talk about his gameplan for the home race, but they seem to have other concerns.

"We've been monitoring the OnlyFans account, and it's been very successful,"

Sean shifts in his seat.

"We brought you in because we've been inundated with requests, and we just wanted to know if there are any you're comfortable with."

It's true that there's been lots of requests. "inundated" doesn't even begin to describe the torrent of messages Sean sees every time he opens the app, nor the things they ask him to do, nor their … generous prices. It's the kind of money that could upend the team, completely overhaul it, bring it to the forefront with the Gresinis and KTMs and Aspars. Sean thinks mostly of soaring speed and champagne when he agrees to entertain a few requests. 

As he's walking out of the meeting, he runs into Rory, who's smiling the same wolfish way he always does, with his eyes high and crinkled.

"More pressure about your home race?" Rory asks, friendly, bumping his shoulder as they walk back to their trailers.

"No, actually," Sean replies, not making eye contact for more than a second, "it was about the new project."

"You can say its name, you know," Rory says, all too relaxed, "it's not like people haven't heard of Onlyfans. Or are you worried about your reputation, superstar?"

Sean knows it's a joke -- both of them spend their time vying for a few seconds on television between the shots of more impressive battling up at the front of each race. "Of course I'm not. But…"

"But…?"

"Nothing. I hope we make a lot of money this way,"

"Well, with your good looks, there's no doubt," Rory says, and he pats him on the arm before switching directions and probably running off to find someone more interesting to talk to.

Sean heads up the stairs into his trailer and, without thinking, locks the door behind him. For a moment he's transported back to high school, hiding in his room to rub one out when he knew he didn't have much time. Now, he supposes the roles are reversed. He'll be the one behind the screen.

He opens the app and starts not by checking the inbox, but the subscriber count. It's gone up significantly, again, and the revenue they're bringing in from subs alone seems to rival what they're getting from the sponsorship. He figures a lot of people are just curious, and why wouldn't they be?

It takes more than an hour of waffling and pacing about and messing with his hair, but he ends up taking a picture in the bathroom mirror. Naked. The sink hides anything incriminating, and his right nipple is obscured by his hand holding up the camera, but it's still… a lot. He doesn't spend much time looking at it, makes no crops or edits, doesn't adjust the lighting where it's hitting his v-line.

They are right. Zarco is anti-Vaxx, what I didn't know is the last part. What I do remember is that in one of the unseen he was spotted wearing a dirty mask under his jaw and saying he is only wearing it (wearing it there doesn't count Zarco) because he was forced.

And Taka was caught refusing the vaccine at first saying he needed more time to look into it because it was not all pink as promised, but never said if he took it or no.

I also remember that Zarco pretends to be nice saying he still live with his family (I think it's his uncle) while other riders live in Andorra. And Zarco likes to run his mouth a lot to cast shadow onto other riders. He also talked shit about KTM while riding for them, and had to be taken out mid season of his seat. Then in 2020 he was out of a bike and was offered a spot on the Avintia (wort team of the grid) and he said he preferred to go back to Moto2 rather than to take the seat. A rider was kicked so he could ride a Ducati. And last year/this year tried to threaten Ducati to get another contract with them

You all people need to stop putting riders into pedestals and thinking they are perfects because they are not. They are humans, and they all have faults (some more visible than others). Also what someone considers problematic might not be for others. Like for example, Vale and Marc are both experts in manipulate the media to suit their narratives and that can be a red flag for some people. Or maybe Aleix being too direct can be seen as negative because his mouth has put him in so much trouble.

Anyway said this here (under the cut for those who want to avoid it) it is what I remember at the moment. If anyone wants to add something, feel free to do it.

First of all we have a lot of riders and engineers living in Andorra that is tax haven (Aleix, Pol, Rins, Fabio Q., Iker, Joan, Brad, Miller and The Team Suzuki ECSTAR crew used to live there, also Maverick used to live in Andorra (apparently he went back to Roses after having his daughter)). And Rossi also used to live in London and got in troubles for that.

Then we have the misogynistic comments from Miller (he said something of mocking a friend every time he lost in a race against María Herrera, the borderline treatment Vanessa, the Inside Pass host get from him and the mockery) and Pecco Bagnaia who said 'I was like a women in my period complaining ad moaning' after he broke his leg. Oh and don't forget Miller called other riders princesses for complaining about their bike instead of just riding it.

And we have racist comments from Yamaha's test rider Cal Crutchlow who refused to shake hands with an Asian fan during the pandemic and said something about all of it (pandemic) being because someone eat something he shouldn't. Probably there is more, but I don't really remember. And the worst part is that his team manager, Lucio Cecchinello covered it all. Lucio is also not a saint, he treats differently Rins than he does with Nakagami (brought Rins to his museum and told him to get a podium because it will be X (I can't remember probably 50 or 100) podium of the team, but I can't remember him doing it with Nakagami. There's also Gelete Nieto (Moto2 team manager (Correos Prepago Yamaha VR46 Master Camp or something like that)) who literally said that Asian riders do much worse that the European ones.

Then we have Fabio Quartararo, who had endangered himself and other riders by riding with his leathers open and throwing the chest protector in the middle of a race track while there was a race going on. And when celebrating a victory, we throw a golf a ball where there was still bikes on track.

And Pecco Bagnaia during the 2022 summer got drunk in Ibiza, got in the car and had an accident (crashed it into a roundabout) and only got a slap in the wrist. He also dedicated a special helmet to Dennis Rodman (if you don't know him, go and read his wiki page). There something less controversial about him, but still put him as a red flag. When he doesn't get what he wants, he goes to the media and cry and gets it. He also believes no one can race him on a race on the race track and never will admit his mistakes. And because we are on the Pecco topic, Ducati just put all o this under the rug and gives him whatever he wants. Ducai actually banned one jorno for commenting on one of this thing because it annoyed Pecco.

And let's not forget Johann Zarco, the dirtiest rider of all! He is like a kid on the track, when he knows he is going to lose and he doesn't want to and got the wired crossed, he does dumb stuff to endanger other riders. He recently had an incident that ended in red flag, and was the cause that Maverick and Vale where reborn during Race 1 in Austria 2020. And previously he tried to grab the break of another rider at the end of a race (last lap, after the final corner) because he knew he was going to lose de to the slipstream (Zarco was fighting for the championship that year and winning that race would have helped him)! Fortunately nothing happened in there but it could have ended in disaster.

And the ex-riders:

Dani Pedrosa, actually spend a night in jail for cheating on a boat exam and got arrested. He apologised immediately even if it wasn't necessary.

Aspar (MotoGP legend and Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE team owner) and Jorge Lorenzo got in trouble with the Spanish public tresor.

Why is Vinales leaving Yamaha?

The question posed by this article, is one which I have no clear answer for, nor do most people in MotoGP have the answer to it seems! So, instead I will discuss possible reasons, and where his future may lie!

Vinales came to MotoGP as a bright young star, with a lot of momentum behind him, after winning the Moto3 title in 2013, and riding superbly in his rookie year in Moto2. His first two years in the top class, saw him excel on a Suzuki which was not ready to battle at the front. Yet, he was able to score good points, and in his second year, achieve his first win at Silverstone, as well as three other podiums! When he then signed for the factory Yamaha squad, it looked as though he would be their flagship rider for the years to come!

To begin with the signs were good, with him taking wins and podiums in his first few years, unable to beat the might of Marquez, but holding his own against Rossi very well. At that point, the expectation was that the bike was holding him back, and when the equipment matched that of Ducati and Honda, combined with his growing experience, he could bring titles to the team!

This brings us to 2020, where Marquez is out through injury, and the Ducati has fallen back in the pack, so the door is wide open for Maverick. There was a new young pretender at Yamaha, who had done brilliant things in 2019, although as Vinales had a stronger year, he was still top dog. However, as the year unfolded, major weaknesses in Vinales’ game became clear, mainly in wheel-to-wheel combat. Confidence was also a major issue, and whenever rain came, or there was uncertainty, he dropped like a stone! This all meant, that combined with the problems that Quartararo had, Yamaha completely missed an open goal in 2020, as the more confident, better racer of Mir, stole the title from them!

So, here we are in 2021, a new year, and a new Fabio, who has cleaned up his act, and is on top form! Yet, we still see the same Vinales, lacking confidence, needing to stick to a plan, rather than go on instinct. All this means, is that in the unpredictable world on MotoGP, Quartararo is demolishing Vinales in every way! Then comes the announcement, that he will be leaving the team at the end of the year, which makes no sense to most people!

The main theory behind it, and one that has been suggested by Maverick himself, is that the team had shifted focus to Fabio, and has no faith in him. This may be true, and given the relative performances, you wouldn’t blame them, so he has no reason to start kicking and screaming about it! He said that the change of Crew Chief was disrespectful, yet it is completely justified if one rider is much slower than the other.

In that situation, the problem is either in the engineering set up of the bike, or the rider himself, so by arguing it wasn’t the Crew Chief, he is effectively saying ‘I am the problem’. If that is the reason he gives to leave, saying the team didn’t support him, it really means that he didn’t like being beaten by a better rider! I know it is harsh, and I want Maverick to do well, but looking at the pace of them both, it is the truth!

Another reason could be his comfort level on the bike, as results like at the Sachsenring, suggest he isn’t at one with it. This would be surprising, as the smooth Yamaha should be the perfect bike for his style of riding, but the issues could be deeper than that, and we may never know the full details. If this is the case, where could he find a better fit?

Ducati, Honda, and KTM, all seem to have bikes you need to grab by the scruff of the neck, at least more than the Yamaha, so those wouldn’t be viable for him. Which leaves Aprilia and Suzuki! Most of the speculation is for him to replace Savadori next year at Aprilia. This may not be a bad move, as the bike is improving all the time, and could be able to fight at the front soon, plus he should be able to outperform Aleix, although I doubt it would be easy.

Don’t count out a move to Suzuki though! We all know the plight of Rins this year, and that bike is the smoothest on the grid, he knows the team well too which could help! My only reservation, is that with Mir on the other side of the garage, he could find himself in a similar situation if he went there, as Mir can be quite aggressive!

Even considering all these options, I do not understand why he would leave what is clearly the strongest team on the grid this year. Yes, he may not be able to beat Fabio, but doing anything else could be a big risk, and may ruin his career if he is not careful. The main thing though, is that he is happy in his choice, as the barrage of social media chatter on him during the past year or so, must have been tough. If he can find the right home for himself, it could be the rebirth of the star we witnessed five or so years ago!

Hats off to Joan Mir. Except for the first races of the season where he had some difficulties and also have been a bit unlucky, he clearly was the strongest and most regular riders. His riding style was impressive and he clearly is someone who has his head on his shoulders. This title is well-deserved ❤

Hats off to Alex Rins, who started with an injury but had a comeback almost as impressive as one of his teammates. He was probably also a bit more fragile when he counted (I remember 1 or 2 crash when battling in podium places) but he gets his deserved wins and is still very much in competition for the second place.

Hats off to Suzuki which clearly hasn’t the bigger budget of the all grid but manage to do the intelligent choices while keeping a good working ambiance. Hats off also to Sylvain Guintoli, he clearly played a major role in the wonderful potential of the bike today. 

Hats off to Morbidelli, invisible last season next to his teammates, he has managed this year to make his place in the sun. Also unlucky with the motor break and all of the Yamaha drama, he clearly the one which manage to stay calmer compared to his fellow Yamaha riders. 

Hats off also to KTM for their only 3 riders in the top 6. They clearly had improved a lot compare to last year.

Day 4. Mt. Cook Village to Nasebey. 355km.

Today we awoke to a steady rain. Oh well. Can't realistically expect to avoid rain even in the drier summer season as we push south and west into the rainy zones of the South Island. The bonus was an end to end rainbow which followed us for over 20 miles as we retreated down the glacier valley to Lake Pukaki. The winds were fierce and as we turned toward Tekapo we struggled to maintain our line on the road. I would guess 45 mph +. Patagonia level stuff. A bit scary at times. With my jacket slightly unzipped due to unexpected warmth (didn't drop below the 50s even up by the glaciers) I felt like the Michelin man who was about to be launched like a kite. We cruised by the stunningly blue lakes and took a bunch of pictures with the full rainbow and then the azure water. Wish the pics were as impressive as in person but they still don't suck. Within 5 miles we were out of the heavy rain and skirted drizzle for much of the day. A slight concern for the pannier's ability to stay dry after it seemed there was some water upon loading this AM. However we have dry duds after the day so all appears fine for now. Western rain in feet may yield a different result but fingers crossed. We were told to get gas every 250kms to avoid an issue. We ended the day about 240 kms on our tanks from Geraldine. We cut it a bit too close as we were on reserve counting up to 26kms on reserve. I believe the 800 holds 16 liters and the bikes took 15.5l. 😅 With fuel fears allayed we found a bakery in Tekapo and also lots of REI type campers, trekkers, vacationers. I had a banana cake and a steak/mushroom pie (I could get accustomed to these pies!) and a chocolate milk. Not a classic Kiwi breakfast but good for me!

Now, we endeavored to find our first unpaved route today. We had been told that a couple of passes were fun and so we routed ourselves from Tekapo to the road that aimed us up a valley and toward Hakataramea pass. A guy on a KLR pulled up alongside as we took a photo and he said he was going to ride through the same two mountain unpaved passes we had selected. He would show us the way. Off we went but in short order he was well ahead of us. He had a provisional license (beginner, provisional with a max of 650cc, then full) but was a dirt rider and we only saw him once more. As the road became windier and a series of 6-7 stream crossings occurred we then wound to the top of a low altitude peak and there is a gate there. You need to open and close it behind you. He was waiting for us there. Nice guy. However we never saw him again! We descended while taking in some dramatic scenery and taking quite a few picture stops. It wound out into some fine farmland and then into the biker town of Kurow. There were dozens of dirt bikes there. Apparently we were in the midst of the Vincent rally. Around 180 dirt bikes cruising through this fun part of NZ. We sat with a few guys from Australia on KTM, Yamaha & Suzuki who were enjoying more technical stuff than we were attempting! I had another pie there. Butter chicken, yum. Now we took a few turns in figuring out the way towards Duntroon and we stopped at some Maori rock paintings while getting our bearing to find the turnoff to Danseys pass. We were told there was a bar there so off we went! There was a mini-pass then a descent prior to heading to the top of Danseys. Bridges were largely paved over the water crossings on this leg and then right back to gravel. The views were beautiful and the ride was a good fun. Enough slipping and sliding but not too much! Very windy following the hills. Two thirds of the way down we discovered the Danseys Inn and pulled in for a beer. This is after I walked into the owner's house thinking it was the bar. I mean they did have a covered outside bar complete with a row of bar stools and a large wooden vat that appeared to be at one time used for brewing. And the crowning touch was the wooden bucket on the porch full of empty Speight bottles 🍺. As soon as I opened the door the large dog of the house wanted to get out and I saw the living room. Oops. He was very friendly but didn't want to be put back in the house. Fortunately he resisted only with his considerable weight and not his teeth. I had a good story to tell the very nice owner who was seated at the bar. Turns out the owner of the Royal Hotel was also there as we made his acquaintance again later in the day as he runs the only establishment in Naseby that is open for food and drink on a Sunday afternoon after 4PM. Nice guy. Two minor tennis frustrations so far... One that I completely forgot about the Australian Open when booking. Had I thought about it I would've been able to route here through Melbourne and enjoyed a day or two of AO tennis. Wasn't on my radar when making plans six months ago. Two, now I am also unable to watch the open. So much closer here but after CHC, the rural TV lineup hasn't allowed viewing of the last rounds. Missed Kenin's win and set the alarm to watch the men's final this evening but again to no avail. Looks like I missed an instant classic 5 setter and Djokovic prevailed. Oh well!

No noise here but the birds and the breeze. There are some groups of cyclists here who are riding the 93 mile Otago Central Rail Trail. The walk to and from the Royal Hotel brought us by a motorcycle enthusiast's shop with a few interesting vintage bikes including a Ducati Mach 1 and a cherry Benelli. The park we passed also boasted some huge trees which may be redwoods and are from California. Naseby is so quiet because after the gold mining period here (1863-1940) the Otago rail line bypassed the town and now there are lots of historic buildings but not very many people. During the height of the gold rush there were nearly 4,000 people here, now the number of permanent residents is less than 100.

Race day, Sunday! We’re up before dawn to find a spot to watch the start of the race. It always seems to be a stressful time for me, as I fear I won’t get any good shots but this is Motorvated and that fear is used as motivation.

We started off at the chase standing in front of Rydges. As the cars came down Conrod Straight, all we could see were high beams. Once they passed through they were lighting each other up like madmen in peak hour traffic.

As the sun began to rise we moved on to Meguiars Corner and worked our way along the main straight.

It was Hells Corner where we stopped for the golden hour. It’s always a popular spot for the media guys and girls.

Before we knew it an hour had passed and there was no sign of the pace car. Compared to a first lap appearance in 2018, drivers were on their best behaviour.

The new Bentley looked amazing on track. Celebrating 100 years the usual ’17’ & ’18’ were replaced with ‘107’ & ‘108’.

I was absolutely stoked that Nissan, Ferrari and Aston Martin were back after not competing in previous years. I still think Toyota needs to bring their GT3 Supra.

The MARC Cars were back again this year with a few tuning tweaks which ruptured many eardrums over the weekend. The Marc II Mustangs were loud AF.

As the afternoon came around the commentators advised that no team to date have won the 12 hour with a starting grid position under 7th. It looked like history would repeat itself as several cars from the top 10 shoot out were up there battling for the lead.

Maxime Soulet in the #108 Bentley was killing it with a 47-second lead but unfortunately, after a driver change Andy Soucek lost it all and 7 positions after stalling at the end of pit lane. This allowed the #62 Aston Martin to take the lead. See the drama unfold here 

The lead of Group C, KTM XBow broke down which forced a pace car on lap 299. If you’re asking; yes – the race went over 300 laps, a record for the Bathurst 12 Hour!

The battle for second saw Matt Campbell in the #912 Porsche pressuring Raffaele Marciello in the #999 AMG before an inside overtake at turn 1. The #912 Porsche seemed to be running better than any other car on the track as Campbell kept pushing on to chase down Jake Dennis in the #62 Aston Martin. By the way, the three leading drivers at this point in the race are in their early 20’s! Not bad for the young guns.

Campbell was on Dennis’ tail across the top of the mountain and by Forrest’s Elbow he dived inside for a gap that wasn’t even there and somehow it opened up. Campbell passed and was set loose to open up the lead.

With 1st and 2nd positions pretty much locked in, everyone’s eyes were on the battle for 3rd, Marciello #999 and Shane Van Gisbergen #888. Several dives proved unsuccessful for SVG and with the timer counting down all chances came to an end for the #888 team. Watch the nail-biting battle here.

Another year, another exciting race. Porsche got their win which was the first one I’ve seen. Nothing better than seeing new winners. Congratulations to Matt Campbell, Dennis Olsen, Dirk Werner and the whole Earl Bamber Motorsport for the win! All the best for the rest of the Intercontinental GT Challenge season.

The soft chime from a door brings Taehyung out of his daze, his eyes dart away from the brick wall that stands adjacent from him to his girlfriend, Hyejin, who scowls at her boyfriend's rude behavior. Taehyung was the one to grow a fixation on things, Hyejin knew of this, but it was only out of items of interest and she was certain that a wall would not be one of them.  

"You weren't listening to me," Hyejin murmurs under her breath before taking a sip of her Iced Americano that Taehyung had bought for her prior to her arrival.

  A brown strand escapes from her ponytail and Taehyung notices almost immediately. A soft chuckle escapes him before he aids in pressing it behind her ear. The slightest hint of a smirk presses against his lips. He cocks his brow as if demanding her to say that he was not paying attention when he managed to so meticulously pushed her hair behind her ear. "I'm leaving today for a family situation – it's really abrupt and I didn't want you to worry about where I would be."  

At her news, Taehyung perks up ever so slightly at her words. He masks his excitement by taking a sip of his iced water. "I hope it isn't anything serious." Taehyung finds it hard to restrain himself from being giddy. How could he be able to sit as still  as he managed to? Was that dream not just a dream – but a foreshadowing?  

"No, of course not." Hyejin keeps her eyes trained on Taehyung's; eyes that never quite meet her own but she swallows her idea of mentioning it. It would be of no use, anyhow. Taehyung's defining characteristic was his timidity. Bringing it up would serve no use. 

Mahogany orbs meet Hyejin's own hazel ones and she nearly chokes at how ethereal he is. How had she managed to hit the jackpot this big? "Hurry back, okay jagi?" He leans over the coffee table to take her hands in his own. The size difference causes him to smile much more than it should and she notices it – it makes her heart flutter. "I-I don't know what I'll do if you don't return back to me soon." And the saddest thing in his rare truth was that she did not understand the true magnitude of his statement.  

 "If you find my Ironman shirt, you better return it asap – okay?" A teasing Jungkook tells you as you attempt to push him out of the fire escape of your dorm room. Bed hair adorns his head and his little smirk is evident on his lips. "Y/N-ah, you better find my shirt."  

 "Okay, Jungkook, okay!" You screech back, your voice curling in a childlike symphony."Just please go before the RA or Hyejin comes, okay?" Jungkook laughs at your whines before throwing his hands up in response. He loved seeing how fluster you became when it came to things like this. "Jeon Jungkook, so help me if you do not leave this fire escape right now, I will-" Exasperated knocking fills your ears as you turn your head in direction to the front door. A hiccup ensues through you involuntarily and you dart your eyes back to Jungkook, begging him with your eyes for him to leave. "Hyejin-ah! Open the door, please-" 

"You'll what?" The teenage boy continues to provoke you with an upturn of his eyebrow. "I could honestly go answer that door right now and then you'll be forced to move in with me; just like I wanted." 

"Do you have to be such a brat, Jungkook?" You whisper-yell while pushing him away from the window where the fire escape is located. "Please, please, please, just go!"  

Jungkook only laughs at you, giving you a glimmering look at his pearly whites. "I will, fine. Is there honestly the way to treat your best friend? Aish," He trails off once he sees you slam your window and close the curtains. "Aish, this girl..."  

"Coming!" You call back to the door, smoothing out your oversized shirt and pulling down your shorts. Making sure you look presentable, you swing the door open to be met with a dirty blonde standing in front of you, wide-eyed at you. White roses clog your eyesight as you try to look at the person behind them.  "Hey, Hansung!" You attempt to be cheery, remembering how Hyejin had told you about how painfully awkward her boyfriend of just over four months was. Plus, you absolutely adored white roses.  

Taehyung chewed on his bottom lip nervously, eyes intent on staring at the nonexistent stain on his new shoes. "H-hey," He clenches the roses in his hand closest to his chest, as though they were the only barrier between the two of you. "Is Hyejin here?" The quiver in Taehyung's voice is evident as he speaks to you and you find yourself marveling at how adorable he was. Is he this flustered with everyone or is it just with you? 

"Oh, actually, she isn't. I think she would be back soon though." You smile softly at Taehyung before taking a step back. "You're welcome to stay and wait for her if you'd like – or if it's easier, I can just take the flowers from you-" Taehyung licks his bottom lip. Is he honestly this close to you? Is he seriously having a conversation with you? He clenches the flowers tighter, ignoring the thorns that prickle him through the thin plastic. "I-I'd like to wait for her if you don't mind." How crafty Taehyung was – Hyejin had just got on a plane back to Incheon. He would wait forever as long as he could be with you.  

"Hansung, your hand." You gasp a little at the blood on his hand; most likely from the white roses that he had been clenching for dear life. Did talking make him that nervous? Poor boy. "Sit on the couch. I'll, erm, get you a band-aid for you, okay? I wouldn't want Hyejin saying I harmed her boyfriend when I should be taking care of him in her absence." You playfully tease, not knowing the weight of your own words. 

A wildfire runs through Taehyung at your words and he nods timidly in satisfaction. "Please take care of me well." He adds when you guide him to the small couch that sits in the center of the room.  

"Of course," You smile meekly at him before jogging over to your dresser of things. A small box of band-aids finds itself in your hands when you turn to sit beside him. "Sorry about how tight a fit this is, dorms here are really small." You attempt to make conversation as you take the band-aid out of the box, unaware how Taehyung stares at you as if you are the embodiment of what it means to be an 'angel'.  

Taehyung shakes his head, "I don't mind the size; I actually prefer small places." He blurts and when you turn your head to chuckle at him, you notice the twinge of pink on his cheeks.  

"Okay?" You laugh softly before taking the white roses from Taehyung's hands. You smile at them before placing them on the back of the couch. "You got her white roses? You must be a romantic." 

Taehyung shyly nods before wincing softly when you wipe his small cut with an alcohol wipe. "Aish, that hurts." Upon realizing your words, he nods slowly. "The florist told me that white roses are perfect for longevity and as a way of saying 'I'm always thinking of you'. I adore her a lot and I wanted this to be a reflection of all the happiness she brings me and how with every meeting with her, I feel myself becoming closer and closer to my destiny." And that destiny is you, Taehyung finishes in his head, but his mouth falls short of that sentence.  It takes every fiber in Taehyung's being to not look at you when he says this, but he doesn't want to overwhelm you. He would never want to do that. 

"Wow," Your mouth is ajar out of adoration of how eloquently Taehyung speaks. "You really adore her." You smooth the band-aid against his palm with the slightest hint of happiness as you speak. "I hope I find someone as sweet as you are to Hyejin." 

Your words unknowingly boost Taehyung and he nods with his eyes still trained on the floor. "I know you will, Y/N." He finally faces you before licking his lips. The action makes you sputter on the inside but it takes every fiber of your being to not respond with a squeal. "You'll find him, soon. Who knows? He might have been just around the corner all along." The suggestiveness of Taehyung's words go completely over your head but you nod at him with a soft smile.

ROUND 1: LOSAIL, QATAR

* Batman Voice *

After 5 months in hell they've comeback with one goal: to give us the best championship we could imagine. Yep our now 5 Fantastics and their acolytes are finally back after what has been one very busy winter break due to several major bike swaps. Who are the winners and the losers at that game ?

1. Time to give Maverick a real superhero name

The young spaniard made a sensational debut with his new Movistar Yamaha Team as he took both pole position (even though we were denied a real QP session) and the victory after battling hard with Ducati's eternal Mister 2nd place, Dovizioso.

Top Gun, as many calls him, made zero mistakes during the winter break toping each of the 4 tests leaving everybody with very few questions as to know if he would be a title contender this season. Answer was Yes and, after yesterday night, it's now YES (with capital letters. Yes, that makes a huge difference).

Vinales took a great start but it's another Yamaha riders who took the allshot. He then was quietly following the leaders waiting for his time. At that point of the race i've found myself saying "well Mr Prodigy is not doing any kind of walking on water move, maybe they're all too soon when giving him the "alien" status". I guess i was wrong. I do still think he has many things to prove but his talent is not one of them. The combo rider + bike + tyres works perfectly, his adaptation to the M1 (can we really call that an adaptation though ?) is complete.

I do think his way of riding the M1 is far less superbe than Lorenzo's silky smooth style was, yet the results speaks for themselves: he's in for a great year and Losail's victory is probably one of many to come.

2. One day, it will be Dovi’s turn

We should count how many times has Dovizioso comes close to victory at Losail. I bet quite a few.

Once Johann Zarco was out, it looks like Dovizioso had it in the bag. It almost felt easy for him. This year's Ducati seems even better than last season's and Andrea just knows how to make it turn. In the straight, well, there's no comparison possible. Vinales was smart to gap the italian as much as possible in the very tipsy curvy part of the track because each time he did not, the desmo took no prisoners on the line coming and passing him like a bullet fired out of a gun.

Now thay Dovizioso is free from Iannone in the Ducati box (come one, by know you do know these tow hates each others...) and as all eyes are on Lorenzo's adaptation to the bike, the italian is stress-free and will certainly make a brilliant season (if nobody takes him out THIS TIME).

3. Never doubt Valentino Rossi

The never retiring rider was far from thinking he'd finish the Qatar GP with a podium.

All weekend long he was nowhere to be seen, never really on the pace and totally distanced by his new teammate. In fact, it’s been this way almost all winter. 

During the "will they race / will they not" drama Pre-Race due to rain starting to fall in the pitlane and making 3 turns from the track quite questionable, he even looks like he was SO READY to be done with this awful weekend.

I've read on twitter someone saying "Rossi is always lost up until Race time". That could not be more true. There is something happening with him once the lights are off which is just out of this world. No matter how much he was struggling, how far behind he was, he always founds his way up to the front. This could prove itself to be very useful when it will be time to count points by the end of the season judging by all the youngsters so ready to kick him out of the way. 

4. Losail and where to found the Hondas

Losail isn't really Honda's best track. Except for Stoner and Marquez, all Honda riders just never really do well at the season opener. This year was no exception.

Marquez ends up in 4th after what was, in his own words, a wrong tyre choice going from the hard he had previously favored to a medium thinking it would allow him to have more grip on the cooling track. The RCV didn't liked that and, after only a few laps, his tires were not cooperating well anymore. Still he took home a 4th place which lead us to believe this Marquez is the one from 2016 while the "all or nothing" one from 2015 is clearly buried.

Teammate Pedrosa had a better winter but Losail is a track he most probably hates. I cannot really remember him saying he felt well there once, and it was the same this weekend. Yet things are much more encouraging that they seems for the Japanese brand and if that was not for Crutchlow's double crash they could have swapped quite a few good result.

5. Bleu Blanc Rouge

Right when the lights went off i can imagine most riders thinking "who the hell is that guy leading us" and for good reason.

Rookie and new Yamaha comer, french man Johann Zarco, made quite the impression on Sunday's evening at Losail making his team Boss, Hervé Pacharal, the happiest man on Earth. It's been a long way coming for these two to work together in motogp. The french guys finally had the opportunity to do it when both Smith and Pol Espargaro decided to leave for KTM last season. The double Moto 2 World Champion, who was refused a place at Suzuki for Iannone and Rins, made a point showing everybody just how much of a pure talent he is.

He looks smooth, precise and easy on the bike. Yes he did crash but when he did he was already gaping some guys answering to the names of Marquez, Vinales, Dovizioso & Rossi... Not bad for a start ?!

I Keep your eyes on Zarco. As we saw in Moto2 he has a unique way of being and work during a race weekend. He's not crazy, not devoured by ambition but if he feels like he can do something, he's not gonna be the one playing it safe.

6. Lorenzo’s challenge ahead

Lorenzo had as much of a bad debut with Ducati has Vinales had a good one with Yamaha. 

Yet are these two situations really comparable ? I do not think so. Jumping from the Yamaha to the Ducati is like going from playing with a cute little puppy in your garden to be trapped with a wild lion ready to make a kit-kat break of you.

Most people have very high expectations with Lorenzo on this new challenge. Will he do what Rossi couldn't ? Will he be Ducati's new Stoner ? Reality is that it's far from being fair to put him under so much pressure when even hiw own team does not.

First, judging by the desmosedici's level last season, there's no way he could do worst than Rossi as the italian one was literally riding a P.O.S. back in his red days. Then, as sad as it is, there is only one Stoner and he's never coming back.

Was Losail's race a bad omen for Lorenzo's season ? Not necessarily. He was positive all weekend and found himself being quite Lorenzo-consistent during the warm-up doing a his whole first run into mid 1:56. During the race he was lapping at the same level as the front group but finished outside the top 10 after a mistake he did during lap 1.

The spaniard needs time for adaptation. He has only ride the bike for something like 15 DAYS so far. Dovizioso has been working on it for years!

He also needs to learn how to be patient. Yes, patience is key sometimes. It had me laughing because i was so pissed off to see him act like he did on the grid during the whole "Rain/No Rain - Race/No race" drama. While Marquez and Vinales were both focus and into their bubbles, he was agitated like a child before christmas going God knows how many time back into the pit-lane and making sure Capirossi has understood he really didn’t wanted it to be GO.

There is two way this could end: it can become a very long and awful season for Lorenzo, or he can turn it into a learning process to better himself and the bike before having a go at the championship next year. Either way, i’ll still put a few penny on 1 or 2 wins in 2017, after all he’s still one of the best riders in this world...

Max does it again & Vinales bounces back - Saturday Racing Round Up

Despite the best efforts of Mercedes, they were just unable to match the pace of Verstappen when it counted, even when Hamilton had an extra run in Q3. The straight line speed of that car is just too much to overcome in qualifying! Perez improved during the session, and apparently if he hadn’t of made a mistake in Turn 1, could have made it an all Red Bull front well, but in the end will start 4th, which isn’t too bad, however, there is still improvements to be made! The long runs on Friday suggest that the car may be a match to Mercedes tomorrow, we will have to wait and see if that is true!

In the end, it was actually Bottas who came out on top between the two Mercedes drivers, as Lewis made an absolute mess of the final run. That is a good statement to make to the team by Valtteri, even if it means nothing with his penalty. The body language of Hamilton is changing very quickly over this year, as whilst he is relishing this fight, you can see he is not pleased with how the team is operating! They are not out of it for tomorrow by any means, and the start is a great opportunity for Lewis, so make sure to tune in tomorrow!

The rest of the top 10 was filled with brilliant days for various drivers. Lando has once again pulled out a storming lap, and almost beat both Mercedes! Given that they usually go better on a Sunday, if he gets a good start, he could be untouchable in the midfield! Alpha Tauri are getting stronger by the race, after a lacklustre first few races, and now with both cars in Q3, on what is sort of their home track, it could keep getting better. Race pace tomorrow would be my only worry for them!

We knew this track would not suit Ferrari well, as shown by Sainz in 12th, on the other side of the garage though, Leclerc continues to show some magic over one lap, putting his car in 7th. It will be tough to stay there, given the straight line speed of cars behind, although their race pace was looking superb yesterday! I honestly think that Alonso was the happiest driver out there today, as he was just loving life, and didn’t even care where he finished! His joy did turn into lap time though, as he reached Q3 again, setting up his race rather well!

It wasn’t all smiles though, although Ricciardo was putting one on, to hide what I am sure is pain at another disappointing day at McLaren. They are all so confused, as he was super-fast in FP2, and then could not find it again today. It is a real mystery, which I hope they get on top of, as everyone loves Ricciardo, and wants him to do well! For Ocon, it is as though signing a contract extension, has had the opposite effect to what it should have done, as his pace has disappeared, almost like he is under pressure! If this continues, I can’t imagine what the management at Alpine will be thinking!

Finally, we mustn’t forget about the stunning exploits, yet again of Russell, who looked to be under pressure from his teammate at one point, but turned it around to barely miss Q3! That may not be a bad thing though, with a free choice of tyres! I don’t want to jinx anything, so I will just say that I wish him the best tomorrow in the race!

MotoGP

Well, what a difference a week makes for Vinales! After finishing stone dead last in Germany, he comes out here at Assen, and tops every session of the weekend! Plus, with the race pace he has, it would be hard to bet against him tomorrow, his only weakness will be Lap 1, as if he gets pushed around there, it could go wrong for him! Quartararo pushed him hard, and without that mistake on his last lap, could have got pole! It could be a battle between those two in the race! Rossi and Gerloff did commendable efforts, with Rossi in Q2, and Gerloff showing pace in his first ever ride on this bike!

Bagnaia, Nakagami, and Zarco all did well to fight bikes that should not work that well around here. Given how lost Ducati were at one point, to have 3 bikes in Q2, and 2 in the top 5, was a strong effort for them. Then for Nakagami, he was half a second ahead of Pol in the session, and Marc couldn’t even reach Q2, so major respect to him!

Oliveira is well placed on the grid, and with the fact that the KTM normally goes better on a Sunday, a podium could be on the cards for him! Aleix is being amazingly consistent, but is yet to really breakthrough into the front pack! Also, the Suzuki’s had better qualifying speed compared to usual, so we will have to see if that bodes well for tomorrow, but I wouldn’t bet much money on it!

Binder was rather disappointing today, given where his teammates were, and will need another huge race from him to salvage the weekend! Lastly, I must give credit to Savadori, who has upped his game this weekend, finishing 5th in Q1, beating some notable riders!

You would be a fool to bet against Yamaha tomorrow, although things have come unstuck for them before in 2021, and they won’t exactly have it easy from the other riders, so it is by no means done and dusted!

Hi there everyone and good evening. I started to type this post on 19/03/2020, Thursday, 11.30pm. I would like to share to you another horror experience happened to me at Malaysia estimated about 2years ago.

The incident happened along the journey of going to the destination and back to Singapore. That time I was sending my Late Uncle to Thailand. He usually take train(KTM) to go back to his hometown. And his hometown is at Narathiwat, Thailand. Usually his departure to home goes smooth but only for that time of point, it didn’t. He missed his train to Thailand and was stuck at Malaysia train Checkpoint. He decided to stay at the pavement of the Malaysia Train Checkpoint and wait for the next available train the next morning. I could remember the train the he should be boarding departs at 8.30pm and he want to wait till the next morning at 10.30am the next train departs to his destination. As a nephew, who wants to let him stay cold outside there without proper rest. So I grab my brother car and decided to fetch my uncle at Johore Bahru and send him to Kelantan. So from there he can take bus or train to his hometown. I know it’s sounds crazy but his wife at Thailand expected for his arrival.

Manage to grab my brother car and zoom I speed off to fetch him and when I arrive, drink some coffee and fill up petrol and starts the journey. I start my journey at around 10pm at night. I don’t know how long the journey would take at first but according to Google Maps, total journey takes about 13hrs.

First leg of the journey after a few hours of driving, I reach RnR Ayer Keroh, that is Alor Gajah, Malacca Zone. Have to rest for a moment after driving more than 2hrs straight. Freshen myself up and had my massage from the Massage Chair on every RnR Stops. After 1hr of rest, we continued on and pit stops followed by Kuala Lumpur. And from there, my Late uncle ask me to cut through the road. And I know if I were to cut through, I would pass by Raub old highway. And it’s a pitch-black road where cars or motorcycles would use their high beam lights to see through. I got no choice but yeah just want him to arrive as early as possible. And along the road between Kuala Lipis and Gua Musang if I could remember clearly, something happened.

The road which is totally pitch-black while your surrounding is all woods, trees, road lamp only depends on your vehicle high beam lights, just imagine guys, after for an hour I drive, I don’t even see any food stalls. To my thoughts, who would want to set up a stall in the middle of nowhere. And indeed, we saw one. My Late uncle told me to stop, and get ourselves some food and drink to eat and rest for awhile.  I told my uncle, In English,”Are you sure uncle? That shops seems to look different. Driving for hours and out of nowhere appear this shop with no customers sitting on it.”. Maybe it’s late night. “Just stop. We take a rest for awhile. You are tired”. So I had no choice but to make a U-Turn and stop and park beside the Warung.

I was still inside my car while my Late uncle already got out of the car and even sitting on the chair. I got chills around my body. My body hair stands up and I know it does not seems right. Maybe It just my negativity thoughts. So sit with him and waited for order. The light was on but there is no one around. So I walk around the shop and thinking the owner of the shops may be resting or something. I don’t dare to enter the cashier area as I scared I would be caught as intend to rob. So I slowly walk and suddenly a voice came being heard from my back. “Yes What do you want to eat?” Shit Crap I jumped and turn around with shock while catching my breath. I just pass by there and I am very sure there is no one there. “We would like to order some food and drinks”, I replied to him. He walk to the table where my Late uncle is sitting. I followed him by behind. Ordered some food and the way he talk, replied is sound like creepy. The food was prepared quite fast. Usually it will take about 15-20mins. But this one, he served withing 5mins together with our drinks.

So while we are eating, we heard a car passing by. And upon passing by, that car sounded their car horn at us. Maybe he wants to indicate he is passing by. So we both let it be. But it happends again. Another car pass by and sounded their horn at us. Not only once, but nearly 4 times. “Lets carry on our journey. We are running late”, I told my Late uncle. And he agreed. We called the Warung uncle and our eyes are looking at the cashier area because that’s where we last see him entering. And suddenly, we heard a reply behind us. I was shock like how in the world he is right behind us?! I just literally gave him the cash and told him to keep the change and I told my uncle to get into the car. As soon as we get inside the car, I drive off. Make a u-turn to continue with the road. And just about 100m, I look at the Warung through my rear-view mirror. And to my surprise, the chairs were flipped upside-down. Usually when it was put like that, it indicated the shop is closed. I just continue on. I thought to myself maybe I was a little bit sleepy. Few hours later, we arrive at my uncle destination, Tumpat KTM station. We arrive early and luckily his train was due to arrive in 2hrs later. And that was the last train. So I accompany him bought the train ticket, and buy some titbits for him to eat while in his journey to hometown and check-in. Before check-in, my Late uncle advise me to find a hotel or a safe crowded place for me to sleep and depart in the morning instead of straight after this. “it’s ok. I will be fine. If I were to feel totally sleepy, I will find a petrol station or pit stop and get myself to sleep”, I said to him. Just be careful, update me where is your whereabouts, and keep praying inside your heart if anything happened” he said. I was clueless but I was too tired to think for an answer.

After sending him, I went to nearby shop to buy some drinks and ciggerate. A long journey back, but this time, I decided to take a shortcut to Johore Bahru. Instead of driving back to where I drive previously, I decided to drive by Terengganu, Cherating, Kuantan, Mersing, Kota Tinggi, and lastly, Johore Bahru. The journey took about 9-10hrs according to GPS. The GPS that I use previously is Google Map. But this time, I use WAZE. A lot of people said WAZE is much better. But yeah, there is positive and negative of it. and furthermore, the route that I’m going to drive is Kampung Area. Where the road is only meant for 2-way Traffic, no lamp post. And the darkness is, I could say honestly, from the view inside your car, the visibility is just 5-8metres without your headlight turn of. But if with headlights on, if you are using Halogen Headlight, low bean your visibility will be around 10-14metres. But with high beam, you can barely see after 100metres of your view due to fog. Advisable use HID 8000K. its white and yellowish. And that’s the minimum of using low beam. Don’t use LED. It may be clearer but you going to blind up the oncoming traffic. That point I was using Halogen light. The length you may heard it quite far. But in reality, inside your car, your 10-14metres is not exactly as what being mention. It was counted from your car front bumper to the furthest.

I started my journey. Just after I turn right upon junction ahead, I saw the dark road ahead of me. There will be cars but minimal. Like you can see around 1 or 2 in every 7-8km. and the dangerous is, the bend, big lorries, blind spots. That is not going to be my dangerous. There is much more dangerous ahead which without my knowing.

I just enter the zone of Terengganu. It’s creepy. Been driving for 1hr. And I don’t see any food stalls. Kampung route they do have food stalls but not like RnR. This one is built just beside the road. Some of it will open 24hrs but some will not. 20mins driving along Terengganu zone…………

 20mins of driving, in the middle of nowhere, pitch black just only hoping for your headlight, MY CAR SUDDENLY BREAK DOWN! Break down in the middle of nowhere. You don’t even know how far is the workshop and you don’t even know how far is the petrol station. And furthermore, some of the kampung area have telecom signal and some do not have and some will have but not as strong. And my phone signal is weak. Like 1bar. And mostly will be no network. I was scared at that point. So I try some of my basic knowledge and see what’s wrong with my car. Theirs is a different between car battery weak, no petrol and sparkplug out. I just top up petrol before my journey back and petrol is out. I turn my car key to ignition slot and turns out all the indicate is still clearly visible. No weaken of lights symptoms. I tried to start the car and my car cranks up. And spark plug and battery is not an issue. So I look around the engine bay with my phone torchlight to see anything burst. And suddenly…

Guys. My boot door suddenly SLAMMED!!! “BAAAM!!!” I was shocked till I hit my head on the hood cover when I suddenly raise up my head in a shocking way. My heart pump truly fast. Just like you finish your 400m sprint. Firstly, I thought it’s the wind. But it’s impossible. It may be cold at night but there is no wind. I’m driving an SUV and my boot door opens sideways. I mean pull the door and it opens sideways.  So I check inside my car if there is any animals like monkey or something but there’s none. So I check the surrounding of my car and still there is no one. To my confusement, “maybe passing by cars that regulates winds close my boot door”, I said to myself. So I didn’t manage to see what is the issue to my car engine bay, I decided to give it another shot to start the engine. Just by only one CRANK, the engine starts running. Felt happy and closed the hood of my car and get inside my car and start driving.

Everything goes smoothly. BUT only for the time being. I didn’t ever thought of what is going to happened next. What happened next is, my car became heavier and heavier. My thought was maybe I’m driving uphill. But at the same time, I played surah Yassin through the CD Player. When it started playing, my car begins to shake aggressively. At the same time I heard soft screaming. I was like, gosh. May this be a bad dream. Not reality. Hahahaha. Just want to make myself relax and not to think negative. I decided to play it louder. Not too sure whether I turn the volume up to the max or not, I just turn it up to full blast. I can’t stop the car because the road is like pitch black. And I know it’s not safe to stop. Make my decision to continue driving and stay inside my car.

Multiple cars high-beam at me. Even the truckers. Just to be safe, I turn on my hazard lights and driving slowly so that it any vehicles behind me can pass by. I have to search for a nearby Mosque. I can’t go to Surau because surely it will be locked. So I go to Masjid and it’s 45mins from my location. Like it or not, I just have to make my way there to make myself safe. 45mins of driving, I reach to nearby Masjid and the gate is still open and I drive inside and park my car and I went to take my ablution and sit inside the Mosque till I fell asleep till dawn. I woke up upon hearing the Azan Subuh. Wake up, and re-take my ablutions again and do my Dawn prayer.

Get into my car once done praying and I didn’t realise my phone battery was dead. Charge it up and to my surprise, I got a lot of whatsapp missed call from my Late uncle and his wife, FB calls and text even from my wife. So I told my wife, I’m fine and want to continue my way back home. I’m still at Terengganu Zone. Been driving for 3hrs and still at Terengganu? Usually it will take about 1-2hrs.  She will know my whereabouts because we both install GPS Tracker app so we will know where each other are if we were to go for holiday and we lost each other. I arrive Johore Bahru at around 6pm. Reach home at around 7+ pm. I wash myself up and had my dinner and have a chat with my wife. She told me that my Late uncle was worried because he told my wife, while on my way sending him to Tumpat,Kelantan, there is something following us when we stop for supper on this one Warung. He wanted to accompany me till dawn but I insist of him to reach his hometown meet his wife on time.

My Late Uncle worried till he call me non-stop and ended up to inform my wife if I were to reach home, told me to give him a call. I did and I told him what happened. I do know it’s spiritual activity around that Kampung but I know, Kampung area is always like that. Weird things happened during at night. Just need to calm down and realise yourself and know what decision are you going to make to protect yourself. To me, something like this is what I call Challenging. It challenge your mentality, your Iman. I may be scared but not totally scared. Because what I learn is, if you are scared with spirits or could say Syaitan(Satan), Syaitan will continue playing with you. But if you are brave, remember, Allah is there to protect you. Don’t ever kneel down to Syaitan. It will be the worst. That’s all for my Paranormal Incident that trully happen to me after I send my Late Uncle to Tumpat,Kelantan.
