ancient studies and religion major! she and brady were friends cuz they were in american history together and he cheated off her once sophomore year and she thought it was rude and she somehow managed to convince him to do study sessions with her. then post-thanksgiving brady introduced her to sam. she and sam were in the same comparitive religion class the next semester and they got coffee together and it went from there. she had a sleeve tattoo that she added more flowers to regularly, whenever she had the cash, and she'd fill in the black outlines with colored sharpies to match her outfit when she went to parties cuz she thought it was fun. she really liked late 1800s literature but especially little women and frankenstein. she was obsessed with greek mythology as a kid and had her gay awakening watching xena: warrior princess with her little brother (he does not know this). she wants to study religion and ancient studies because she's lowkey highkey obsessed with humanity as a concept and she loves the idea of people thousands of years ago thinking the same things and feeling the same way we do now. whenever she thinks about the handprints in caves all across the world she bursts into tears. she's a compulsive fingernail biter so she always paints her nails funky colors to stop from doing it, which doesn't ever work but she's trying. it took her years to grow out her hair this long, since her family always insisted she keep it short as a kid when she played soccer, and she loves it now that she can actually do things with it! she loves braiding sam's hair for him.her favorite flowers are daisies and her favorite color is light blue and she's the one who cut sam's college girl bangs in a dorm bathroom. she's jewish and she invites sam to her house for holidays because her family only lives an hour outside palo alto, and he's mesmerized by all of it; her favorite holiday's purim and it becomes his favorite holiday, too. her family isn't homophobic but they're the kind of democrats who keep quiet about things, and she knows they'd still love her if she came out as a lesbian, but she doesn't know if she'd be able to handle them looking at her strange. so she and sam keep it to themselves that he only uses he/him because he's used to it, and that he's as much a guy as she is.Biggest injustice Supernatural commited against Sam (be as brief or as ranty as you desire) - religious arc and spn being christian in general. i can't imagine sam being christian i just cannot do it even though it's fun to play with. sam IS an excatholic jewish convert and no one can tell me otherwise unless they have muslim hc's because @toxicsamruby got me hooked this morning.And finally, just say something about him that makes you smile ♥ - his dimples!! his BIIIIG smile with the dimples when he's so genuinely happy and carefree like in the scene with bobby where he's leaning against the impala w a beer. no i don't remember anything else about the scene i was entranced! he looked like this :D

There is something about Trixie Season Three

I always knew I would be back for this third instalment I just never realised what would have happened between 3x23 and finally reaching a deal with Netflix for Season 4. I literally lost over a month from my life and before you say anything, yes it was worth it.

3x01 - They're Back, Aren't They?

3x03 - Mr. & Mrs. Mazikeen Smith

The first time we see Trixie in Season 3 is ironically in an episode that was shot in Season Two and is part of the four standalones that irked the fans for not moving the storyline.

Trixie shows some great initiative by trying to smuggle herself to Canada and despite being overly worried for Maze, Miss Alien did manage to cross the boards and take part in the episode’s adventure... What also we need to remember is that Trixie was extremely happy that Miss alien was delivered back smeared with blood...

3x04 - What Would Lucifer Do?

Trixie is not mentioned.

3x05 - Welcome Back, Charlotte Richards

In episode 3x05 we do realise that S3 will not be just about identity but also about accountability. In this episode, we also have the first real Season Three appearance of Trixie and apparently, the child’s proximity with Maze has brought some issues that are dealt with a Swear Jar...

In this episode, we cannot say we see anything out of the ordinary although the word Mother-flunker will always stay with us but we do realise that like Trixie, Lucifer has to learn that words to hurt people... pity he wasn’t there for that pep talk otherwise it might have saved us a whole season.

Now let’s move to the last scene with Trixie in the episode which holds some merit.

Chloe: Monkey, I want to talk to you about what happened today at school. Did you tell Miss Morgan to "go to shell"?

Trixie: I didn't technically break any rules.

Chloe: You know what? Lucifer was right. The swear jar, it's it's a dumb idea. Mommy gave you a bunch of rules without explaining things. The real reason that we shouldn't swear is that bad words make people feel bad. And I know you don't want to make people feel bad, right? 'Cause the truth is if you go looking for loopholes, you'll always find them. And I can't force you to do the right thing. You'll just have to learn that on your own. So no more swear jar. Does the above sound familiar to you?

Call me an overthinker as I know I am but take this as if spoken from Dad aka God. Lucifer was set to have certain rules but broke them and when they were reinforced he always sought for loopholes lie he did when he made a deal with Dad in 1x13 and Chloe was spared.

God couldn’t make him learn, good from wrong as Lucifer always found loopholes but instead He also took away the Swear Jar or in Lucifer’s case, Hell. God never got down to Earth to drag His son back to Hell but he enforced a plan that made Lucifer on some degree learn on his own but without God being an active participant to that. Lucifer has the choice on what to learn, accept and eventually act.

3x06 - Vegas with Some Radish

Trixie is not mentioned.

Many have noted where Trixie was in this episode and the truth is that Trixie could have returned to babysit or Chloe could have called a babysitter when she decided to stay with Linda at the penthouse. Contrary to popular belief parents sometimes do need a break from their children.

3x07 - Off the Record

Here we have the HILARIOUS: ‘Child in danger?’

Then down the storyline, Daughter in Danger and Stolen From School...

3x08 - Chloe Does Lucifer

That episode always cracks me up especially Trixie’s actions. Painting a unicorn on Lucifer’s cheek and of course being the adult in how Chloe should open a conversation of flirting with a man. For some reason, her maturity here is a bit too much but at the same time endearing. What she also realises is that the show at the end of the episode is missing.

The thimble as I mentioned earlier was a direct metaphor to Peter Pan’s thimble. The boy who refused to grow until he was forced to do just that. In 3x08 we do realise that although Lucifer refuses to grow up once again he knows that even by getting a Monopoly piece certain things will never be different because people might not change but heck they can pretend they have pretty well. Enter Trixie. In a way we see Lucifer and Trixie growing up and getting hurt together almost by the same people in Season Three. Namely Maze...

3x09 - The Sinnerman

Trixie is not mentioned.

3x10 - The Sin Bin

Many can say Lucifer is a proud Step-Satan but in this episode, more things come to play. Trixie not only meets Charlotte but she also sets a date between her and her Daddy aka Dan.

She is a perceptive child and for some reason a bit like Ella, although in a different way, she is attracted to the unusual and in her case to whatever has ascent from Hell...

Now like in 3x08 she offers sound advice on how adults should act but she is also offering a very good line to Charlotte: You’re the Mum, you make the rules!

Following 3x05, rules are made by the parents they cannot always be explained but that does not mean it’s out of spite. Sometimes it’s out of desperation or love so that concept alone wants me to keep a closer eye on our dear Beatrice...

3x11 - City of Angels?

Trixie is mentioned 1 time.

3x12 - All About Her

In this episode, we get to see that not only Trixie is obsessed with Miss Alien but also that she makes some good money from her art which reminds us that what she had drawn in Season 2. Uriel, the Devil and the Blade. In Season 3 in 3x12 we can see the first hint of that Amenadiel will get his wings back.

For some reason, Trixie seems to know what is going to happen. Of course, we may say it’s but an easter egg from the production but speculating over a Miracle’s child is more fun don’t you think?

3x13 - Til Death Do Us Part

Trixie is mentioned two times.

3x14 - My Brother's Keeper

In this episode, we see how close Trixie and Maze have become to the point that Maze words in 3x18 cause a lot of damage. What interests me most though is not how close they are but what Trixie has been taught from Maze.

That kid now knows the basics of how to survive and of course battle tactics. Sometimes I do wonder if whatever passed down to Trixie from Lucifer and Maze will come to play in any f the future seasons.

3x15 - High School Poppycock

In 3x15 Trixie was used as a humorous addition to the story where Chloe stays up all night but we also witness the maturity of the child as well. She dresses herself and she got up and ready without waiting for her mother to do anything for her.

You may say that for her age that’s a given but like in 2x15 we see that Trixie has a very adult-like logic and in most cases, reaction to a lot of things. Unfortunately, like her mother, she also bottles up a lot of her feelings and refuses to let anyone realise how certain circumstances affect her until it’s too late. Do keep that in mind for both Trixie and Chloe in Season 4.

3x16 - Infernal Guinea Pig

Trixie is mentioned 1 time.

3x17 - Let Pinhead Sing!

Trixie is not mentioned.

3x18 - The Last Heartbreak

In 3x18 the episode does affect Trixie but the most notable thing we see is how a little human girl can affect a Demon. Maze was always unyielding to emotion until Trixie came to her life. Like Chloe and Lucifer’s insistence to not be a shoe the same happened with Maze and Trixie.

Ten episodes later since 3x08 the same story plays again but this time in the subplot of the series. A character rejects its true nature for what they believe they are. Lucifer uses sex and enforces himself to act indifferent to Chloe and any remaining feelis from 3x06 while in 3x18 we see Maze trying to do the same. She acts out and her lashing out to Dan eventually reaches Trixie but more directly than Lucifer’s actions do reach Chloe.

3x19 - Orange Is the New Maze

Trixie is mentioned 3 times.

3x20 - The Angel of San Bernardino

In 3x20, we see Trixie has mostly recovered from Maze’s harsh words and house abandonment. And yet in the following gif we do see that the child understand more than she is willing to admit which makes things a bit weird for my liking.

Trixie appears to have known to a degree that Lucifer and her mother were close after her parents were separated and yet by the end of the episode she does not appear to hold any grudge against our Devil.

And here is the thing Trixie is open to both her parents dating and being happy with other people and no matter what happens she always seems extremely loyal to Lucifer. Even in 3x08 she could see that Chloe and Lucifer were good for each other and yet the fact hat she was there to care for her mother in that state troubled me, like a lot.

3x21 - Anything Pierce Can Do I Can Do Better

Moving on to 3x21... Bottling up your feelings never ends well but in Trixie’s case, she just refuses to deal with the issue something that Chloe says it will take time. That alone gives us an opening on what might happen with the two characters in S4 but also poses a question that has not been explained so far. Why while Trixie was still mad with Maze, she accepted Marcus so easily after 3x20?

3x22 - All Hands on Decker

When 3x22 was aired and that scene came into play I was convinced that Trixie had been taken from the sleepover and had not willingly left. That might be true if we consider that A) There was a deleted scene where Marcus and Maze had a fight in LUX’s bathroom and that Marcus knew he would need a shield afterwards. Do not forget that Marcus had a silver tongue and could persuade people quite easily in order to get what he wanted. So I do believe that Trixie was forced to return home in 3x22.

3x22 was also the last time we saw the child as the last two episodes were too packed as season and midseason finale’s often are.

3x23 - Quintessential Deckerstar

Trixie is not mentioned.

3x24 - A Devil of My Word

Trixie is not mentioned.

3x25 - Boo Normal

Trixie is mentioned 1 time.

3x26 - Once Upon a Time

Trixie is not mentioned (aside from the lack of family in Dan’ s life) and does not exist.

Finally, I would like to add a thought concerning Trixie’s absence in 3x26 - Once Upon a Time.

Chloe was born as a miracle but God’s decision to make her cross paths with Lucifer was made when John Decker was murdered when she was 18 years old.

That means that Chloe’s Miracle status is not de facto the reason why Lucifer and Chloe were met.

Following that logic, Chloe’s future and Trixie’s existence is part of God’s plan which we can speculate that is based on Chloe meeting Lucifer. That means in an extent that Trixie has a role in Lucifer’s involvement with Chloe which we should witness at some point in the next season/s.

Why is that?

Because Trixie’s existence didn’t fit the original plan that had Chloe never meeting Lucifer meaning where God had no involvement, therefore, we can assume that Trixie is a product of God’s grand plan for Lucifer and Chloe on some degree.

If all the above is true then why did God blessed Penny and John?

Well, there are many different scenarios but I like to think that Penny’s infertility or difficulty to conceive had to do with a certain kind of ancestry* that made John and Penny incompatible and thus they needed a stronger angel, the Firstborn, to bless them. That’s, of course, a non-spoiler based speculation. We shall see I guess...

*That does not make Lucifer and Chloe related in any way. Lucifer in 3x01 has revealed that there are other celestial beings as well as supernatural beings that roam the Earth/Universe.

Pretty Little Liars Review-Farewell, My Lovely

I absolutely loved this episode, from the reveal that Mona accidentally killed Charlotte whilst protecting the girls, to Mary confessing to the murder of Rollins (and her sister) in order to protect Spencer, this episode was full of twists and turns and ended rather shockingly. Whilst each episode of Pretty Little Liars tends to end by foreshadowing something which will soon come to pass, some new kind of torment for the girls, this episode ended with none of that. Instead, the game was won, and AD appeared to be driving away. Of course, we know that this is not the end, for there is one final 2 hour long episode before the show comes to an end; however, for once it was a rather simple ending. As it stands, I cannot wait for the final episode of this show, and to finally have answers to all of the questions that have plagued us since the beginning.

The Death of A

It’s clear from the beginning of the episode that all of the characters believe that Mona is AD based on the snooping that Caleb and Ezra did, but from the perspective of the audience, it’s much too obvious to be true. Throughout the episode, we see Mona’s persona unravel as they discover that whilst Mona is guilty of something, she is not guilty of being AD. Mona is understandably frightened by AD’s note to meet, and it is this that convinces Caleb that Mona is not in fact responsible for their torment. As he tells Spencer, she’s so clearly frightened because she is not in control, which is her natural state of being, to the point that he actually feels sorry for her. Spencer is of course stunned, because Caleb has never shied away from his hatred of Mona due to her being the original A. He’s never trusted her like Hanna has. It is this moment that Caleb glimpses that foreshadows Mona’s spiralling out of control, to the point where she is no longer the same person. Haunted, she mentally retreats to the person she was before she was A, in order to handle the stress.

The truth as to who murdered Charlotte is finally revealed, and confirmed the theory of many fans, although in this case it was rather more accidental than anticipated. Working on the game at Hanna’s insistence has brought Mona to a new low. Panicking, she cannot cope, her actions causing Hanna to realise that Mona was responsible for Charlotte’s death, though at first they all appear to believe it to be deliberate. It is significant however that when they realise this, that the girls choose not to take Mona to the cops, not whilst she’s in this condition. They demonstrate compassion towards Mona which they don’t normally do, particularly Hanna and Spencer. This is likely because she is Hanna’s friend, and also Spencer knows what it’s like to be in such a bad place mentally. Rather, their concern is getting her help in the form of Dr Sullivan.

But as Mona reveals more of the story, they learn that Mona never intended to kill Charlotte, that it was an accident as she defended herself against Charlotte after confronting her. In the end, it appeared that Mona was the only one not fooled by Charlotte’s supposed progress, that she had fooled the doctors and the girls, but not her. Charlotte in fact states that Mona was always the smart one, not Spencer, and it’s hard to argue that when presented with the facts. What’s even more astonishing is that Mona does not confront Charlotte for herself, but for the other girls. She stands up to Charlotte, because she cannot allow her to hurt her friends, which is clearly Charlotte’s plan on her release. For all that Mona puts on a front and acts as she only cares about Hanna, it’s clear in this flashback that she also cares about the other girls (although I would not include Alison in this, for obvious reasons). For all this time, Mona has been watching out for them. But Charlotte hits a sore spot when she suggests that none of them care about her, that all she sees is loser Mona, and that’s all the other girls see as well. This is the persona that Mona returns to in this episode in order to cope. I just find it incredible that Mona did all of this in order to protect the other girls, and hopefully the extent of her actions are fully appreciated by the others. I certainly couldn’t blame Mona for killing Charlotte even if it had been deliberate.

As Mona tells the whole story, she remains in this persona, and clearly her mental health is suffering greatly for all of the work she did to help the girls. Hanna apologises for dragging her into it, and significantly, Mona instead says that she was glad to be of help and that it meant a lot to be needed by Hanna. Mona willingly put her own mental health at risk, knowing the dangers of associating with this addiction of hers and the risks she might incur for helping the girls against AD. But she did it because of her love for Hanna, and her constant desire to protect her, which shows just how much she cares for Hanna. I’ll certainly be disappointed if all of her efforts are not appreciated and highlighted in the finale, and it would be great to see Hanna and Mona making further progress in their friendship whilst Mona gets the help that she needs. Mona’s confession is what ends the game after all. Hanna had asked Mona to play the game for them and win, and she did just that, in a completely unexpected way.

Confessional

I’ve really come to love the relationship between Spencer and Mary this season, and seeing it develop, so I truly hope that the theories that Mary confessed to Rollins’ murder as part of some larger conspiracy with AD to hurt the girls is wrong. I absolutely loved that she gave Spencer and Alison as a goodbye present the deeds to the Lost Woods resort, in order to use as money for lawyers. Although, by the end of the episode, it appears that Mary gifted the resort because she would no longer be needing it in prison if she were to confess, which was clearly the plan. At this stage, I am choosing to look at this act of love for Spencer at face value, and believe that she is doing it because she loves her daughter, and that this is not AD playing the long game.

I think it’s fitting that in the episode that the game finally ends, on Aria’s advice, the girls choose not to obsess over the details any longer. When AD sends them to the location of Rollins’ body, Aria says what we have all been thinking over the seasons. That sometimes, the best thing to do is just to let it go. The others are confused and think she’s crazy, but Spencer is the first to realise the truth of it all, that whatever they find, it will never end, and at some stage they have to be the ones to end it. At this stage, if AD wants them to burn, then they will, and obsessing over Rollins’ body will just end up doing more harm than good. I’m glad that by the end of this show, the girls seem to have learned something from all of their traumatic experiences. But even though this is one of the few truly good decisions they’ve ever made as a group, Tanner still finds them.

What I truly love about this scene however, is that it is set up to make the audience believe that Tanner is finally going to be able to arrest these girls, and that their presence at this grave is just icing on the cake. But before they can even tell the truth, Mary confesses to both the murder of Rollins and her sister. We, the audience, have been duped. I absolutely loved this twist, and thought it just made this penultimate episode even better. This last minute bit of good luck for the girls dramatically increased the tension throughout this episode. Significantly, Mary’s statement includes all of the little details that help ‘prove’ that she’s telling the truth. However, at the same time, it is her knowledge of these details that makes me wary. After all, surely only the girls would know some of these details, that is, unless Mary has been watching the girls more closely than we realised, or even that she’s working for AD. In order to present a legitimate theory for the presence of the girls at the grave, Mary suggests that they had started to suspect her. This clearly doesn’t change Tanner’s opinions on the matter, clearly still believing that the girls murdered Rollins together, but her evidence against them is only circumstantial, and cannot hold against a suspect that confesses. I will be extremely glad if this is the last that we see of Tanner, though I won’t be holding my breath, because it wouldn’t surprise me if she is still up to something.

Isolation

Ezra was understandably upset at the other girls for how they treated Aria on the reveal of her working for AD, and I honestly don’t blame him. Because he is so right, they have all made mistakes and don’t things they otherwise wouldn’t because of A/AD blackmailing them, including to each other and their families. To shut Aria out in this situation, when they are all quite vulnerable to AD, was downright awful, and you don’t have to approve of her actions to understand this. The other girls obviously come to realise this, as Emily and Alison apologise to Aria later on. It’s important that they continue to work together, because Ezra is right in that this is their strength against AD. Without each other, with their circle of trust broken, they are all much more vulnerable.

It’s also important to note that throughout the previous episode and this one, Aria is 100% willing and ready to confess to Rollins’ murder in order to protect her friends and make up for her mistakes. She is not coerced or convinced into it by anyone, it is a decision she comes to by herself without even consulting anyone else on it. Aria is convinced that this is the only way to make things right with her friends, and this is obviously not only driven by the guilt that she feels, but also her isolation as she was cast out from the group on the reveal. But just as it is these extreme events that cause her to make this choice, it also highlights the close relationship between these girls, that she would literally go to prison for all of them. That’s what the heart of the show is, after all. The strong friendships between these girls, and how it is their love for each other that gets them through every single act of terror and torment against them. Whilst Ezra ends up stopping Aria from confessing, the importance lies in her resolute decision up until this point.

Flash Forward

Finally we got to the scene which acted as a flash forward in the middle of season 6, before the mid season premiere began 5 years later. To me at least (and I’ve seen others commenting similarly), it appears that this scene was shot a second time, perhaps in order to compensate for changes to the plot. It is certainly not the first time that the audience has suggested that the writers changed the scripts, perhaps in an attempt to circumvent the popular fan theories in order to make their reveals more ‘surprising’. Such accusations were of course levelled against the writers when Charlotte/CeCe was revealed to be A, as opposed to Wren. Regarding this flash forward scene however, what struck me the most was how it was such a cop out. Rather than holding any real significance to the plot, it was simply a nightmare. I can understand the frustrations of other fans because this scene was so emphasised, only for it to have very little point. It almost felt shoehorned into the episode, as if this scene needed to be placed somewhere purely because of its earlier use as a flash forward, especially because this episode could easily have done without such a scene.

Game Over

It seems that, after all, Mona was the one to finally end the game, although not in the way any of the girls were expecting. Given the emphasis on attempting to yet again suggest that Mona was AD in the last couple of episodes, as well as the stills released before this episode, most were under the assumption that Mona would be interrogated by the other girls. Of course, this did not happen in the way that we expected. But in the end, with Mona’s confession, the game has finally ended, and all seems good. Unlike most episodes of Pretty Little Liars, this episode does not end with any sinister hints as to AD’s next move-in fact, AD is driving away. Personally, I thought that this was a great way to end the final episode before the series finale. Rather than amping up the tension by reducing its ending to the same kind of tactics used to increase suspense every other episode, this ending is differentiated by the fact that all appears to end well. It therefore leaves the audience guessing as to what horrible things will come up in the finale, what questions will be answered, and which suspect behaviour from various characters over the years will be explained. The tension is heightened purely because of a lack of suspicious activity from AD.

I was at the dentist and they were doing a root canal. Now, I have naturally long nails, and my one nervous tick is that I scratch. I’ll scratch myself if I have nothing to scratch, and that was the case when they were doing the root canal. I scratch subconsciously, so I have NO idea I’m causing damage. So I was scratching my left hand in one stop consistently, and thankfully the dentist assistant noticed and got me some stress balls to scratch on. Sadly tho the area scabbed really badly, and thus led to scarring.
