Uhh random thoughts. Hosts and their fav attractions at the Disney parks bc Disney theme park attractions and history was a special interest of mine for 3 years (btw FUCK Disney obviously im just putting these hcs here bc despite its no longer a special interest I am still nerdy as hell about the theme parks specifically and I like to give characters favorite rides)
Cookie: this man seems like a thrill ride seeker. He will go on as many extreme rides as possible until he eventually has to go to the bathroom to throw up from motion sickness. I have the feel he’d like the Tower of Terror. He’d probably drag Schmitty on it despite Schmitty seems like the type to be absolutely TERRIFIED of drop rides. (He’ll go on anything else tho)
Buzz: okay call it obvious but Buzz Lightyear (and whatever the hell other name they give it istg it’s the same ride but they all have different names at every park). Tell me Buzz WOULDN’T like the LASER SHOOTER GAME RIDE. He probably thinks it’s cool as hell and would challenge others with beating his score. Nobody wins against Buzz.
Nate: this ride is defunct and no longer exists (unfortunately bc I think it’s awesome) but Extra-Terror-estrial Alien Encounter. Something tells me Nate’s weird little interest in conspiracy theories would lead to him liking the REALLY DARK lowkey horror attraction about a transportation device sending a violent alien into the room and characters getting attacked by it. (Btw if you don’t know what the ride is, look it up, its awesome) He’d probably take Buzz on this one and Buzz would be terrified with all the screaming from both the crowd being scared and the characters getting killed by the alien while Nate is having the time of his life lmao. Anyway, unfortunately since Alien Encounter no longer exists, I guess I’ll just say that Nate’s other favorite ride would be Rock N’ Roller Coaster. (Unfortunately, Buzz finds that ride too extreme for his liking as well so Buzz would NOT have fun getting dragged onto there by Nate)
Schmitty: without even thinking about The Lost Gold, I feel like he’d like Pirates of the Caribbean. Idk I Just get that vibe from him. That and he’d also probably like Soarin’ because he’d find it REALLY relaxing (the soft breeze the ride gives ya plus the calm movements and nice visuals and smells) can you tell I want Schmitty to have time to relax and be all chill yet. (Anyway projecting here but considering It’s a Small World is referenced TWICE in The Lost Gold, I headcanon Schmitty secretly likes the ride. It’s not his favorite but he likes it. Shhh I want the funny man to at least somewhat like my interests too)
Guy: Guy also seems like the type to like thrill rides as well (but he’d be able to TELL when hes getting motion sick unlike Cookie) but he also seems like the type to like rides with music that’d get at least somewhat stuck in his head, so while I can’t REALLY decide I guess the closest option is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, because it’s a roller coaster that has the chance to play one out of seven songs while the ride goes on. (Fun fact actually I’ve been on it before and it’s literally the only roller coaster I can stomach (i hate coasters) and it played Everybody Wants to Rule the World lmao)
Bonus, REDACTED: The Haunted Mansion. I think we can all agree on that. He’d be upset that the ghosts on the ride aren’t real, though.

While I'm on the subject, other rides I wish existed and might make a thing in this AU, besides the Treasure Planet dark ride:
A version of the Dumbo ride that's a bunch of Tick-Tocks circling a center figure of a terrified Hook (idk this one just seems very charming to me as a kiddie ride and with how much Peter Pan leans into the comedy aspect of Tick-Tock chasing Hook, who the company is pretty clear will never actually eat him...)
A permanent Nightmare Before Christmas attraction, so fans don't have to just wait for Haunted Mansion Holiday every year. Boogie's the easiest to theme a ride around (just slap a roulette wheel overlay on your standard spinny ride) but I kinda want something more than that. Maybe another dark ride, but this time instead of covering the story of the movie, it follows a small, loose sequel inspired by Oogie's Revenge?
We've had a high-speed Mr. Toad ride, can we get a high-speed Horseman chase ride to complete the set? Maybe even throw in an alternate ending for the chase (darker in tone of course to match Mr. Toad landing in Hell in the ride version of his story) It would be slow and spooky at first, mirroring the prelude to the Horseman chase, then when the Horseman appears, the ride picks up speed and takes tight corners and jarring turns, with false "near-misses" with the Horseman
(I also want to add a Horseman cameo to the Haunted Mansion since he was in one of the unused plans)
Give the Buzz rides some Star Command references, that's all, I don't really need a full ride when we already have a good in-the-spirit one for the original that a few things could just be added to
(Although my brain just conjured up the idea of a Star Command ride that's just a parody of Rise of the Resistance but. I don't think that would actually work. It's just a funny concept to imagine cartoon Zurg taking the place of Kylo Ren)
SOMETHING Clone Wars-themed, for Pete's sake just acknowledge Clone Wars beyond our girl Ahsoka
Ohhhh maybe a "race" coaster that simulates a Clone Wars space dogfight (that's in reference to when two warplanes engage in battle with each other, not the illegal sport of making two actual dogs fight each other btw) and depending on which vehicle you board, you assume the role of one of the main Jedi (and maybe Rex because he's our boy) or one of the main villains and who each side plays and who "wins" could be randomized. With banter from both characters during slower points in the ride (and in the queue) for added effect. Though I'd say give the guests the choice of which side they want to board...although a part of me worries that wouldn't be practical due to uneven amounts of people wanting to be either not matching up with available seating. But this is purely fun speculation, so...my city now.
We're bringing back Extra-Terror-Estrial and we're keeping it scary
Also let's revamp Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour because HK needs something to do besides walk around shuffling away from children's attempts to hug him. I want to revise the story of the attraction and how it fully plays out but I'm not sure exactly how yet. Good still wins though because I'm already suggesting too much spooky shit, gotta sprinkle in some happy endings to appease the mouse overlord
Elephant Graveyard coaster. That's it, that's the whole bullet point. (Shout-out to gavillain for coming up with that one)
I think he also had an idea for a Bald Mountain coaster and that one kicked ass too. Can you fucking imagine a Chernabog animatronic
Laugh Floor but it's House of Mouse. Please. Actually no, just make House of Mouse into an actual restaurant.
Something Atlantis-themed but my brain is not giving me ideas. :(
Please turn Tiana's Palace into a restaurant
Oh yeah and a coaster based on Yzma's lab entrance. With "WRONG LEVER!" reference at the beginning. Because early Tumblr was right about that, that would rock.
Idk what kind of ride would justify this but I just. Want an animatronic of snake Jafar. For reasons.
The existing carousel is iconic so don't change it but can we get another one somewhere else that's all Disney mounts. Like can we get Rajah and Belle's horse and Mulan's horse and Horseman's horse, and Maximus, and Sven I guess and Slim's buffalo and my spooky side says tnbc skeleton reindeer but I don't think you could turn that one into a comfortable place to sit, maybe a "centaurette" from Fantasia and the black pegasus, Hercules Pegasus, elephant Abu (I don't think Carpet could be turned into one people wouldn't just fall off of), and...
Maybe just a neat little walkthrough Cave of Wonders? Idk
That's all I got for now

Disney is Weird...
Like, really weird. And I’m not just gonna drop the same Pixar Universe theory on you that you’ve probably heard over a thousand times. No. What I want to talk about are the Disney Parks, because, boy, is there some weird stuff going on there.
I went to Disney World for the very first time last summer. It was magical. But that’s not what you’re here for. There’s a lot of interesting diversions Disney has taken in its march towards being the most magical place on Earth. After I visited, I became obsessed with finding out how they do it. How the Imagineers make the rides, what kinds of rides get rejected, things like that and I was not ready for what I found. Here’s some of my favorites:
1. Extra-TERROR-estrial
So, in 1995, a guy by the name of Michael Eisner was in charge of Disney. And if you choose to do more research on the Disney Parks, you’ll see his name pop up a lot, and not in a good way. One of the very first things he did as CEO was take his teenage son with him on his tour of the Disney Parks to see what they could be doing different, better, even. Eisner’s son complained that there was nothing for kids his age to do at Disney World. So Michael decided that in an effort to make his parks more “edgy” and “cool”, he would start incorporating franchises that were cool with the teens. And nothing says “Disney” quite like the 1979 thriller horror, Alien. Eisner immediately started trying to get the licensing to open a ride based on the movies in Tommorrowland while the Imagineers watched in horror as they were forced to create a ride that went against everything Walt believed in.
Things really took a turn for the worst when Eisner couldn’t even get the licensing rights to the movie the ride was based on, and the concept was pretty much complete. So instead, they turned it into a generic alien horror ride, however, the star of the show looks a lot like a creature whose name rhymes with menomorph. If you’d like to see a full walkthrough of what this ride was like and the history (and potential future of this ride), I’d suggest this video. Naturally, the ride was a disaster and everyone hated it, so the ride got turned into Stitch’s Great Escape. Which was also a disaster that everyone hated. But all of that is covered in the video
2. DisneyQuest
Okay, buckle up, ‘cause here’s where things get really wacky. We’re still in the 90s, when everything was trying to be all “epic” this and “wicked” that. Also, Chuck E. Cheese’s and stuff were starting to be really cool. So our pal Michael Eisner said, “Let’s do that, but better.” And so they did. Sort of.
The 90s was trying really hard to make VR work. Like, really hard. Which was really cool. Except for the fact that the technology and the graphics just weren’t quite there. Instead of being fully immersed into a brand new world to explore, you mostly just ended up with disappointment sprinkled with motion sickness. Disney wanted to open a place that was like Chuck E. Cheese on steroids while utilizing VR technology to design the attractions within. And thus DisneyQuest was born. The goal of DisneyQuest was to provide an amusement park experience in towns all across America. In their bid to do so, Imagineers created a couple of really cool attractions like Aladdin’s Magic Carpet Ride and Ride the Comix. It was a place for families to play cool games in an immersive atmosphere, as well as grab a bite to eat from The Cheesecake Factory Express. It was really cool until it really wasn’t. Because of the failure of EuroDisney, which is a whole other separate post on its own, Disney didn’t have the funds to keep building them all over the U.S., but they had already secured land for a lot of them. So in a couple cities, there was land that Disney had bought but didn’t plan on developing, leaving a giant eyesore in the middle of those cities and a sour taste in the mouths of those that lived there.
At it’s prime, there were two DisneyQuests. One in Chicago and the other in Disney World, which seems a little redundant. The one in Chicago ended up closing but the one at Disney World stayed open for a weirdly long amount of time. Like, until 2017. And towards the end, it started to get kinda sad. There was a sort of cool promotion for Wreck-It-Ralph they did, where they put Fix-It Felix games in there but that's about all that happened to the place between about 2000 and 2017. And that’s how Disney tried to be Chuck E. Cheese’s but failed miserably. Where’s my Shane Dawson video about that?
3. The Yeti
So I didn’t get to go to Animal Kingdom during my visit but it is definitely one of my #goals. I want to do the Avatar rides, and see Animal Kingdom at night, and all that cool stuff. But what really fascinates me about the Animal Kingdom is Expedition Everest.
Expedition Everest is one of the more thrilling rides within the Disney Theme Parks and also features one of the largest moving animatronics to ever be built. Or at least it would if the animatronic moved. See, when Imagineers designed the roller coaster, they designed it inside Animal Kingdom’s icon, Mount Everest. This ride takes you through an abandoned mountain camp as you try to escape the legendary monster of the peaks. As guests ride through the mountain, they see shadows of the Yeti, hear it roar, and finally come face to face with the beast as it lunges at the ride cars, with guests narrowly escaping. That is until March of 2009 when it was found that the Yeti was causing cracks to form in the mountain’s structure and that it would be irresponsible to allow the Yeti to continue its reign of terror. So they switched to plan B, or rather B-mode. The Yeti’s B-mode features a still Yeti, with its arms stretched toward the car. Then, strobe effects are activated to give the illusion that the monster is moving.
So when will the Yeti animatronic be able to strike out once again? It’s sort of up in the air. In order to fix the Yeti, they would have to dismantle the entire mountain, fix the foundation, and put it back together again. Fans remain hopeful that it will be fixed thanks to Imagineer Joe Rhodes who has sworn to fix the Yeti. Until then, it remains in Disco mode. So named, after its fancy strobe lights.
So Yeah...
Disney has some weird facts lying around. If you want to read more about some other spooky Disney rides like Extra-TERROR-estrial, I recommend this Buzzfeed article. For other weird little tidbits about Disney Parks history (don’t even get me started on America Sings), and other theme parks, I suggest this channel, this channel, and this channel.
Tell me some weird stuff you guys know about Disney. I love these kinds of things.

Do you have any full body designs for your estrial OCs? (I hope you're OK with this sorta-doodle request ask)
Anon I love you /p I hope you flourish in life
I have never made so many refs so quickly but I had to.... When someone asks for the oc content I must deliver
(everything below cut I promise it's not that much I just don't want to bother people )
Ok so here's the main group! (The ones I just finished)
Tumblr media
And then here's my sonas Estrial form
Tumblr media
As far as the rest, you can find Sodo and Ex on my profile (conveniently linked just for you) and here's Bigb and Jimmy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They aren't my ocs but there they are just in case!
Ryder doesnt actually canonically have an estrial form so I dont have one for him (I drew him in my Estrial post just for funsies and cause he is half Estrial so he technically belongs there) (also I had to edit this to add the links and bigb and jimmy cause i forgot i hadn't posted bigb + jimmy and you cant save ask posts as drafts for some terrible reason..)

Helsknight pfp I made myself for October (though idk it might stay a bit longer.. it looks pretty cool)
Tumblr media
I changed my design for helsknights armor quite a bit, real happy with it rn (even if it's not practical at all cause the entire back of his head is exposed..) (oh also my sona is there, he's the little Estrial (cat looking thing) on helsknights shoulder) (he's not a ghost btw, it's just blending in with the smoke)

I would like to hear your species assignment for xisuma and ex ^-^
Going to put a cut in this one cause omg it's going to be a lot.. so be prepared to read I suppose 😁😁 (came back to add after I finished writing that yes, this is pretty long..) (if you don't want to read the species info, xisuma is a voidwalker and ex is part voidwalker part Estrial)
Ok so ex and xisuma are both voidwalkers. Well ex is a little more than just a voidwalker but we'll get to that.
First up: voidwalkers + xisuma
So voidwalkers are a thing that I somewhat made up by myself (combination of me making things up and taking bits and pieces from media and other people's ideas). Basically to sum it up; there are 3 species of voidwalker end, overworld, and nether (cause yes all of the lore in my head is based on Minecraft to some degree). There are two types of end voidwalker though! Royals are one kind and the others are just called voidwalkers cause yeah idk. The main difference between royals and the others are the horns. Royals have horns and others don't (with a few exceptions but again we'll get there) so this does mean that x does not have horns. Another reason is x is actually an overworld voidwalker! So no overworld or nether voidwalkers have horns, though I'm thinking of giving nether ones like spikes or something cause nether = more dangerous in my brain (also yeah this species is slightly a wip.. oopsies).
The difference between the 3 different void walker species would be; overworld voidwalkers are a bit smaller in their void forms (most voidwalkers can shift between void forms and more human looking ones) something like a bit taller than your average human (think kinda like endermen) and have a bit more speckly star bits. They all have like average length fur here, though it's said that some of them can grow longer or shorter fur depending on their environments!
Nether voidwalkers are a bit taller, are typically more warm toned, most have spikes (yeah I'm giving them spikes actually), and have much shorter or no fur at all, some even have scales!
End voidwalkers are the biggest of the bunch, most of them towering over your average human. Royals are even bigger! My sona (weird case of both technically being a voidwalker and also not being one) is a royal and his void form is 9ft tall! These guys look the most like endermen, some of them even have purple speckles instead of white ones. Though most end voidwalkers barely even have speckles. Royals also have distinct markings and some have a weird little halo thingy in their void forms so there's no chance for anyone to confuse a royal for any other voidwalker. End voidwalkers probably have the longest fur of the bunch, it's pretty cold in the void here.
Void forms would be ones like this where the entire body is just a void (sometimes including their clothes sometimes not idk) (also impulse is here, he's not a voidwalker though)
Tumblr media
And the more human looking ones would be like these where their tails and some extremities are voids. Each voidwalker has differing levels of void bits in this form. So some of them could only have void tails or maybe they have a lot more void, like their hair, their arms and legs, pretty much everything like their void form but theres now a bit that isn't void.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also here's the royal markings (ft a couple other examples of voidwalkers and my sonas cat friend)
Tumblr media
Voidwalkers live in the voids of their respective dimensions btw! Though now in the age of technology and exploration some voidwalkers live in other voids (like a nether voidwalker in the end or the overworld) and some of them don't live in the void at all! Hence the ones in the overworld getting different fur lengths based on their environments as the void stays around the same temperature everywhere (like one temperature for each dimension) so they wouldn't have changed there.
Ok I think that's all on voidwalkers.. uh if you have questions feel free to ask away I might be able to answer (if the question is "can I make my own voidwalker" the answer is always yes)
So now: evil xisuma + voidwalker hybrids
Now that voidwalkers live everywhere, there are more beings who are part voidwalker and part some other thing (maybe even multiple other things)! This is where you start getting voidwalkers with extra limbs, voidwalkers that aren't royals but they have horns, voidwalkers with slightly different features than normal, and voidwalkers who have next to no voidwalker features (a bit more rare as voidwalker genes tend to make themselves known one way or another).
Ex is not just a voidwalker, he's also an Estrial (another species I made up, they require their own post though.. too much info for just one post..)!
Ex happens to have tiny little horns (they would have a bigger pair but the voidwalker genes make them a bit smaller), fluffy ears that somewhat resemble cat ears, and a tail that's extra fluffy. It also has a pair of wings and an elemental power (provided by the Estrial genes) though most winged beings can magic their wings away for convenience (they can bring them back whenever) and ex very much does this. His elemental power is fire btw, though ex only really knows the lightning wielding aspect of this (cause lightning powers = cool and ex is cool).
Ok that should be everything.. again if you have questions do ask I will gladly answer, I like letting the thoughts out. If anyone wants to know about Estrials.. ask and you shall receive, but be prepared for another very long text post with a few images.. I'll make a species sheet for both voidwalkers and Estrials eventually (emphasis on eventually..)

Ok I'm making an official post for Estrials. (or well official until I make a better one)
Everything below cut so I don't make anyone scroll past the novel length (/hj) post I'm about to make when they're just trying to browse their dash :]
Alright so Estrials! They're a species I made up (though they are definitely inspired by some other things like atla cause of the elemental abilities) and they can be anthro, feral, or even like catboy esque(?) (for the lack of a better term) (an example of what I mean would be my sona)
Heres some examples of existing Estrials (in order: my sona (he/it/pup) (small child edition), evil xisuma (little creature and non little creature forms), jimmy (again little creature and non little creature forms), and bigb (little creature and non little creature forms) gotta love bigb and his little sweater) (also ex is part voidwalker too which is why he looks so different from the others, so like yeah you go combine Estrials and another species that would be epic)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here we have some of my ocs and a few of the others listed above! Ryder is also part voidwalker and technically doesn't have a little creature form, but I did include a little bust shot doodle of him
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you're still here, now I'm going to tell you how to make your own! (please do I beg I want more little creatures in the world)
Ok so, they are an open species, though there are a few rules (both like actual rules and trait rules so you stay in line with the species)
-First rule: don't be a dick. I will revoke your Estrial rights if you're not a decent person (no like actually I can't take your character but I can make a list of no good icky people so other Estrial fans know not to interact with you)
-2nd rule: have fun! No really I'm not going to be an evil overlord about people making Estrials. Just enjoy yourselves and be kind to others
-3: more of me just saying this than a rule but you can totally have more than one Estrial! Make like 50 of you want I really don't care
Now rules for like traits and stuff
-1: your Estrial has to have some sort of wings (preferably feathered ones but you can do bug or bat wings if you want) (mechanical wings are also cool! Especially if they're meant to be like a prosthetic or something that would be sick) and some sort of horns (literally any horns idc go wild) you can have any number of these traits too
-2: only one elemental ability per Estrial please (or none at all, you can make an element-less Estrial if you want) there's only one Estrial that has more than one elemental ability and he's not even really an Estrial (it's my sona, it's complicated and lore related don't ask unless you want a novel length reply full of lore)
-3: they have to be either based off of some sort of canine or some sort of feline, though you can totally add features from other things (ex: lizards or fish or deer idk) as long as the base creature that has most of the features showing (so like the main body and head I guess?) is a canine/feline you're good (so like the tail, legs, and even ears can be some other creature if you want) (River, shown above, has a fish tail and some fins kinda like vaporeon. So really, go wild)
-4: any patterns and colors are ok, so yeah make that sparkle dog looking thing !! Go wild, be free my friends. Make the shadow the hedgehog Estrial (no actually you totally could)
Ok no more rules! Info time 😈😈
-Estrials can be any size that's bigger than like a small dog (so like chihuahua ish or bigger) and smaller than a horse (yippee big creature)
-The anthro and catboy(?) Estrials can be any human height btw (anthros can be a little smaller than humans too as a treat)
-They can have any length of fur (so yeah you could make a hairless one, I'd actually be real interested to see that someone do it before I do) and be from any region (hence the different fur lengths. Some of them live in real cold places and have to be real fluffy to keep warmth in, and some live in warmer places and have a lot less fur to cool off easier)
-All Estrials can hide their wings (like magic poof they're gone completely and then poof they're back now) and the catboy(?) ones can sometimes hide all their Estrial features (so like their nose, horns, ears, wings, and tails)
-I'm leaving a whole lot up to interpretation so like go wild I guess. Just don't do anything too weird.. I don't want strange things associated with my species..
Ok now the big thing: elemental abilities
So we have 5 elements + no element (though I'm kinda thinking of adding a 6th.... maybe..). Every Estrial falls under one (and only one) of these categories, though their power levels can vary (so like some fire Estrials can only do tiny poofs of flames and others can have like whole fire tornados going on)
Fire, water, air, earth, and plant
They all overlap with others a little too
-Fire Estrials can bend/control/whatever you want to call it magma, lava, fire, and lightning. They can also heat things up, which does mean they can heat other elements enough to somewhat control those (so like heating metal until it's molten and being able to shape it, or heating water enough that it turns into steam. Though steam is a lot harder for fire Estrials to control) though they lose that ability once the element cools off again
-Water Estrials can bend things like water, ice, some gasses (if the gas has a liquid state at a reasonable temperature. So like not things that require to have subzero temps to be liquids like oxygen), and any other liquids (not including molten things if you count those as liquid).
-Air Estrials can control all gasses (unless they need to be superheated to be a gas) and air. They can also definitely move things with air, so like sandstorms and using lots of wind to lift and move big objects. They can even control the weather a bit because of this (though water Estrials also kinda can. They can make it rain at least) by blowing storms around (including hurricanes and tornados, though they can also cause them too)
-Earth Estrials can control anything that's made of some sort of metal or mineral. So like glass (even if it's not molten, they can still change its shape, though they can also control molten glass) any rock, and all kinds of dirt (including compost in case you were wondering. So like if its considered dirt they can control it)
-Plant Estrials can control all plants. And can move things using plants. And can grow plants. Idk what you want from me the name is kinda self explanatory.. they can also grow plants in their fur (or hair if you have a catboy(?) Estrial) (again I don't really know what else to call them..) this does include stuff like coral, mold, and fungus btw so go wild with your biohazard mold guy (omg Ethan Winters ??? Somebody call crumb immediately) (that is a joke do not call crumb cuptoast just because I referenced Ethan Winters..) (though crumb if you somehow see this hiiii you can make an Ethan Winters Estrial, that would be so sick actually)
That's about it for now! If you have any questions feel free to ask away by commenting, dming me, asking them in the reblogs, sending an actual ask, hell you could even dm me on another platform like twt or something idc. Also, if you make one Please.. please show it to me.. I will be so incredibly happy if I saw your Estrial.. as a treat, for me.. please.. (also do credit me for the species if you post about them. You could just tag me or do like a @/jalo-parker just as long as my user is there you're good)
Ok, bye bye now have a good day :DDDD
