Okay, since I'm itching to spill my theories and you asked me to, here it is, the top 2 other theories and a new one since you've dropped a hint.

2nd Reason:

Ward might actually know Sofia and Rafe's rs. He might took it to his advantage and ask Sofia a favor. Manipulating or gaslighting the girly pop to fuck his sons rs because he sees the rs and the reader as a "distraction" to his son and would not risked the chance that the rs will be the reason of Rafe's athletic career to fall apart. As I see in this fic, Ward's the type of dad that would let his son know that he supports his rs with someone but he secretly hates his son's partner and the whole rs itself. So he would do anything in his power to stop it and ruin it. So he can make Rafe more focused on his game and not be distracted, thinking it will work. (but shii dad, your son is a simp).

Ofc, Sofia would be having 2nd thoughts about the offer but let's be honest we can smell insecurities and her reflecting it to the reader at some point of her life wether its intentionally or unintentionally. So ofc, she would agree at the end, esp she broke up with his bf. She would ofc ruin Rafe's and reader's rs because no one will have a happy ending. That's how she would try to get handsy with Rafe and make her being "drunk" as an excuse. She might even try to maks Rafe remember their past rs because there is something past between them it was hinted on chapter 18.

Making Rafe the man he is be vulnerable and let the makeout scene happened but for sure as what I've mentioned in my 1st reason/theory, the "cheating" might just be about them making out nothing too deep deep deep. After that Rafe snaps and push Sofia run off. Confessed about him and Sofia's past rs and the makeout, the next day. Then for sure the reader felt betrayed and ended the rs immediately without question asked bcos she is the GIRLBOSS.

3rd Reason: (mixed with my new theory because of your new hint)

Sofia might actually liked Rafe in the past and try winning him over, they can be ex friend or fling, but since Rafe must have find Sofia uninteresting or eyeing the reader for a while, he didn't bat an eye to Sofia's and her antics and persuasion. Leading it to a point were Sofia had enough and ended their friendship or just put a huge distance away from Rafe because she knows she doesn't have any chance with him.

She even might used his ex to forget Rafe and moved on. She tried her very best to avoid him and be alone with him because she knows if she is alone with Rafe, that her past feeling with him will surely resurfaced (Which happened). And the party happens plus her breakup with his ex. Her emotions are everywhere. She needed DISTRACTION. Which might lead with her recalling and confessing to Rafe her real feelings with him shouting and being drunkingly mess up to her forcing Rafe to kiss her during their time alone and forcing him to have sex during their heated kissing scene, but our boy didn't given in to the sex thing only to the kissing thing.

Then babyboy, Rafe. Confessed the next day, asking the reader some forgiveness. The reader declines first and asked for a space. Ward notices Rafe getting distracted with his athletic career, so they argued and threatens Rafe to disown him if he doesn't end his rs (we know Ward will defi do this to Rafe because he is a control freak, driven by the greed and athletic validation) because he sees this rs and the reader as a distraction. Leaving Rafe with no other choice but to choose his father and his nonexistent validation for him than reader since he already fucked it up and thought he can't fixed it anymore. THEN BAM! HE FUCKED UP AND BROKEUP WITH HER.

With your new hint it could be stopped ("cheating") if the reader just answered Rafe's missed call, it could also be a hint that Rafe might throw some faults at the reader saying that if she just answered the calls the "cheating" might not happened. Guilt-tripping the reader for his own comfort and gaslight to make hinself better, making the reader snaps and ending the rs instead of fixinv it with Rafe. Because Ik at some point the reader would defi give 2nd chance to Rafe before the breakup happens if he just doesn't pulled that "It's your own fault, if you just picked up my calls it wouldn't happened." card.

I might, drop another theory but I'm still finding proper hints for it though

Levi knocks the idea down straight away

“Y-you want me to go on a double date with some normies? Not a chance, I’m staying home,” he says as he continues playing the new video game he bought that had arrived earlier that day.

You’ll have to persist and maybe even offer him a new Ruri-chan figurine or promise him that you’ll have an anime/gaming marathon with him if he agrees to go out with you for the double date

That catches his attention and he begins to consider it, but he’s a home body and hates being out, especially with people that he doesn’t know

Hold his hand or something, although your physical touch with him always makes him red and fidgety, it weakens him, therefore you have him saying “fine” in no time

When it’s actually time for the double date, you have to drag him out the door as he protests about not remembering to record the new anime that would be airing that night--any excuse to try and back out last minute, but you won’t let him run off

“Please Levi, I haven’t seen my friend in so long since I moved to the Devildom to be with you. It’s just one night and then you’ll be back home to do what you like. Just please, bear with this for a few hours.”

Your dejected face makes him straighten up and look down, ashamed that he was making you feel sad and frustrated

Did you think that he didn’t want to go out with you? Because you’d be incredibly wrong

Levi loves you, he just has a tough time coming out of his shell to show that affection to you if you’re not the one that initiates it first, but he gives in this time, just wanting you to be happy

“Okay, I’m sorry MC. Let’s go,” he gives you a small smile as he has a sudden rush of bravery and intertwines his fingers in yours, leading you out the House of Lamentation himself

When you arrive at the restaurant in the human world, Levi is quiet again, just remaining by your side as you greet your friend and their partner

He’d be pretty quiet the whole night actually, just letting you talk and catch up with your friend as he just admires your from his place beside you

The only way I see him opening up is if either your friend or their partner has something in common with him

For instance if they like anime or a game that he’s familiar with, he’d open up right away, any ounce of timidity gone as he blabs on and on about his favorite characters and gaming techniques that always ensure him the victory

If things do turn out that way, then he’d be bursting with joy when the both of you return home as he always loves talking about his interests with people who also enjoy the same things as him

“That wasn’t so bad! I wouldn’t mind doing it again, but don’t think of inviting anyone else, it has to be them! Unless you have other friends who love anime…”

Seriously though, don’t expect double dates to be a regular occurrence with Levi, he hardly enjoys taking you out in public for dates--he’d much rather prefer an intimate, chill date at home with you; maybe a film and snacks as you cuddle up together

Belphegor:

Belphie on the other hand doesn’t really care, he’s down to do whatever you want to do

“Hey Belphie, I was wondering if you’d be up for coming on a double date with me tonight with my friend and their partner”

“Hmm? Sure,” he responds, still half asleep

And sure, maybe you caught him in a moment of weakness as he was in fact half asleep, but later on when he’s awake and you remind him, he still doesn’t really mind

Belphie used to love the human world, so going there again with you means he gets to see it again--also meaning he gets to see the human world starry night sky since it was the evening and the clear sky was beginning to get dark in your world

He doesn’t really put much effort into what he wears, as he doesn’t think it’s a big deal and he doesn’t want to go through the hassle of getting dressed up for your friend and their date

However if this was a date he had planned specifically for just you and himself, he would go the extra mile and get dressed up for you

Belphie is the one that leads you out the house, really just wanting to get to the theatre so he can get the evening over and done with

At the theatre, you greet your friend and their partner and Belphie just kind of gives a nod in their direction--his way of greeting two humans he doesn’t care for

During the movie, he’s glad that he doesn’t have to interact with anyone and just nestles up into the seat, ready to nap throughout the whole movie, but he grabs your hand before drifting off, needing to feel your warmth to comfortably fall asleep boy you’re adorable, but these movie tickets didn’t pay themselves smh

You don’t mind though, you were just glad that he didn’t give you a hard time about going out with you and your friend for this double date, it was enough that he was just there with you

After the movie you have to gently shake him awake to let him know that you were all going out to eat

He sleepily follows along, using your intertwined hands as guidance while he walks behind you to the restaurant that was nearby

Again, he doesn’t try to talk to your friend or their date unless they talk to him first, in which he just curtly responds to them, trying to not be rude, but not going out of his way to be incredibly kind either, which is understandable given his past with humans--you were the only human he could really tolerate

After dinner, he makes sure to order a bunch of food for Beel and even pays for the bill for you all, which brings a smile to your face, and he instantly knows he made the best decision (he kinda wants to make up for not being too verbal with your friends, but showing you that he still cares for you through little actions like paying the tab)

You bid your friend goodbye and Belphie has his arm looped through yours, quickly walking you to the nearest park where the two of you can finally enjoy the beautiful, star filled night sky

“It’s not as great as the view from the planetarium in the Devildom, but I still love it,” he says while looking up at the star filled sky above you, as you both lie side by side on the grass

But all you could see was him as you felt  incredibly grateful that you had him in your life

“Thanks for tonight Belphie. I know it wasn’t your ideal evening, but I really appreciate the effort you made,” you say as you lean over and leave a quick kiss to his cheek, instantly making him smile.

“Any time spent with you is an ideal evening, plus now we even get to watch the stars together,” he brings you into his side, sighing in content

And he really was happy in that moment, finally able to spend some alone time with you, right in his arms after an uncomfortable double date with your friend

If you ever asked him to go out on a double date with you again though, he’d still agree to go, as long as you were there, he could tolerate anything well, mostly anything

Ok so Okkotsu is lowkey embarrassed when he figures out that you’re jealous of Maki

That embarrassment then grows into full blown mortification when it sinks in because he’s kind of in shock that you’re jealous and is kinda embarrassed that you’re jealous on his behalf

Also like, you aren’t gonna be jealous for long bcus you literally live in this man’s head rent free

Of course it all starts when he returns from one of his trips and immediately after greeting you he just walks over to Maki and starts talking to her about whatever

Of course, you being a rational person of reasonably sound mind think it’s no big deal, you trust your boyfriend and Maki

So you note it down as weird and go on about your day

Big mistake because not only has Okkotsu spent more time this week with Maki than you (you’ve been keeping track in your head) he’s barely spent any time with you

So one day after training, you’re talking to Panda and he comes up to you and tries to hold your hand

You who’s been silently stewing,  brush his hand off and continue your conversation

Okkotsu, who couldn’t be more oblivious if he tried, goes for your hand again

This time you brush him off and cross your arms

However, he’s determined because he taps your shoulder all like “Love, your hand?” and starts gesturing that he wants to hold your hand

This can go one of two ways depending on how petty you’re willing to be

1) is you look at him and give in because man looks like 2 seconds from calling Ieiri to have you check for any type of affliction.

He’s so concerned like you’ve ever denied him affection so he’s not necessarily wrong

2) You ignore him completely and go on about your day

Do be warned that while you’re simply walking away, Yuta is having a full blown dramatic monologue, complete with slow motion falling backwards, behind you

However, you can only keep this up for max about 2 days

Yuta will keep his distance and be hesitant with approaching you in general but the man is giving you the sad hard timin look the whole time

He’ll text you like ‘my love I’m so sorry for whatever I did please forgive me <3 <3 <3 <3″

Seeing you leave him on read hurts this man in his soul

He looks over and his whole demeanor just instantly changes

He thought the place was nice and he wanted to show you and when you asked and he answered you just went “Oh” and got quiet

He noticed that throughout the remainder of the date your smiles seemed a little bit more forced and you seemed tenser than usual

When you got back and wen your separate ways, he texted you asking what was wrong

When you responded “Nothing’s wrong Toge :)” he knew he fucked up

He puts together that you’re jealous that night and tries to put together a plan on how best to approach the subject

He doesn’t get the chance because during training, he’s paired with Maki and you’re paired with Panda

Wont kiss you until the thid date, won’t have sex with you until you guys have been dating for weeks, follows all the rules of how a guy should treat a lady.  (even if you’re a guy, he’ll still try to be the ‘man’ of the relationship)

He doesn’t like trendy or revealing clothes on a partner, he likes more conservative styles.

He’s a secret admirer (stalker) that you’d never even notice.

God only knows where he found you.  it could be from the bus, the café you go to, a neighbor, a friend of a friend of a friend.  It’s a mystery.

heres why; Pisces is all about dreams, fantasy and escapism.  because of this Kyungsoo is someone who is really in love with love.  His yandere side just amplifies that.  He believes that him catching sight of you (on a whim in public) is destiny or love at first sight, he thinks all his stalking and love letters are just parts of a romantic courting process, deems you two soulmates before you have even said a word to him.

Because pisces is ruled by Neptune ( a planet that often blurs the lines between reality and fantasy) Kyungsoo is borderline mentally unstable because he genuinely elievs all of his daydreams and can’t decipher a reality in which you two aren’t together.

It’s always an oddly convenient gift too. like if you accidenetly ruined a shirt one day, you’ll wake up the next morning to an exact replica of that shirt sitting on your doorstep.

Party Season

This was written for the 25 days of Christmas Challenge that is hosted by  @panicfob .  The Day 14 Challenge prompt was Company Holiday Party

Pairing: Tony Stark x OFC (Belle Porter),

Summary: It’s time for another Party and this time Tony is determined to show off his girl

Belle settled back into life at eh compound after her trip away with Tony.  He had hinted that she might want to move her things up to his apartment.  She was seriously thinking about it, but also wanted to give him time to change his mind if he wanted to.

The festive season was now in full swing and that meant another Christmas Party, this time for SHIELD employees.  While Belle mostly worked with the Avengers she did report to Director Fury as well and as such she was expected to attend 

Wanda had offered to help her shop and get ready, and Tony had insisted that he wanted to help her get the best dress for the event.  When she had objected he explained that after the last interaction she had with the director he wanted her to be able to knock his socks off.  Belle had liked the idea of that, and had agreed.  

A stunning emerald green floor length dress was hung on her wardrobe ready to cover the matching colored underwear that she had bought to go with it.

“What are you going to do when other women are throwing themselves at Tony” Wanda asked as she curled the last bit of Belle’s hair and got it ready for pinning 

“Well Tony is pretty good at dealing with that himself, but I don't really plan on leaving it as unclear as to who he is with” Belle met Wanda’s eyes in the mirror

“Well look at you, all ready to stake your claim.  You go girl”. Wanda winked “Don’t let any of those SHIELD bitches step up on him”

Belle smiled at her friend., grateful for the heads up

The ballroom had be decorated in traditional Christmas colors with a large tree in the middle. Tony watched a Belle entered with Wanda and excused himself from the frankly dull conversation he had been trapped in.

“Snowflake” he flung his arms open delighted to see Belle all dressed up.  He wrapped her in his arms and pressed his lips to hers, bending her back over his arm.  Standing her upright he held her hands stretching her arms out and looking her up and down “You look amazing”

Belle smiled and blushed a little “Thank you.- you look amazing too.  That was one heck of a greeting” 

“Well I needed to make sure that all of these damn agents knew that this beautiful woman was here with me and to stay away”

“I am pretty sure that it will be me chasing off the women all of whom want a kiss from the billionaire, philanthropist, playboy” she teased back

“They don’t stand a chance.  My eyes are only for you”. He leaned over her hand and kissed it

“Well this explains a lot”. A gruff voice from behind Belle made her jump and the scowl on Tony’s face didn’t make her feel any better.  Tony spun her, pulling her under his arm and into his side

“Nicholas how lovely you make it”

“Stark, Porter.  It seems like you forgot to keep me up to date on somethings.  The way you went to war for hr over those deliveries makes so much more sense now” Belle’s heart dropped as she took in the scowl on the Directors face “Agent Porter I expect you to report to my office at 08:30 tomorrow.  Stark I’ll send you a temporary mission analyst to cover the gap”

Belle felt tears coming to her eyes.  There wasn’t any questions about what the Director was saying, she was out the compound and it was questionable whether she still had a job at all.  Tony’s arm tightened around her

“No Thanks”

“Excuse me “

"I’m sorry I didn’t realize you’d started to loose hearing as well as your sight,  I said No thanks”

“I was fairly sure we had agreed that Avengers benefited from a Mission Analyst”

“Mmmm you’re right we did, hence the reason I have a mission analyst right here.  Now it seems to me that you want to take away my mission analyst simply because she gives exceptionally good kisses. Jealousy isn't a good look on you Nick - just saying.  So here is what happens.  You can order my analyst to come to headquarters where you can attempt tp reassign her, reprimand her or fire her.  Either way at the end of your meeting she will come back here to her home.  When she gets back here she will be instated as the mission analyst for the Avengers employed by Stark Enterprises and she will not be duty bound to share our data with you”

“Damn it Tony.  Do you think this is appropriate?  I thought you’d cleaned yourself up!”

“Appropriate? To kiss the woman I love. I’m pretty sure that’s the most appropriate of the things that I want to do with her now I’ve seen her in this dress.  Let me be clear Nick, you come into my home and threaten my partner again and you won’t like the consequences”

“Tony you can’t just threaten SHIELD” Fury signed rubbing a hand over his head

“Oh it’s not a threat Director.  It’s a guarantee”

“Really!”

“Yep and I have a few friends who I’m pretty sure will back me up”. Belle watched as each member of the team stepped forward showing their support, and this time as the tears flowed it was because she was so touched that they would stand for her 

“Please enjoy the rest of the party Director.  If you would excuse us Belle and I have hosts duties to perform.”

Tony hurried Belle away taking her to the dance floor and pulling her in close to slow dance to the soft music 

“It’s ok Snowflake, they won’t touch you”

“Tony, you can’t just argue with SHIELD,  You need them for back up and …”

“They need us more. I can and I will go battle for you.  I meant what I said Belle - I love you.  You have come to mean more to me than anyone else and I will move heaven and earth to keep you safe and happy and with me”

“I love you too Tony.  More than anything.”  Belle rose on her toes and gently pressed her lips to his.

“You know there are other activities that happen at Christmas parties, and I have an in with the boss so we won’t get in trouble if we use his office.

Belle rested her head against his chest laughing a little “That sounds a lot of fun, but I was hoping that if the boss was here he might buy me a drink, and then I could show off this beautiful dress”

“I’m sure that could be arranged” Tony’s voice was soft in her ear

“Oh that’s good because then when we’re done I could show you what I have on under here, maybe in the bosses office?”

Tony let out a low groan his hand squeezing her ass “That’s not fair, to tease me like that”

Belle gave a soft giggle before stepping backhand taking Tony’s hand to lead him towards the bar.  Steve caught her eye and raised his glass in acknowledgement which Belle returned with a wave

“So what can tempt you with…perhaps”

A shout of alarm pulled their attention from the bar to the other side of the room Steve and Natasha already in motion to intercept someone Belle had never seen before

“Stark,I’m looking for my brother” The stranger didn’t seem at all perturbed that two of the Avengers were closing in looking non to friendly and started to side across the room

Tony moved Belle so she was slightly behind him “Last I checked your name wasn’t on the invite list Reindeer games”

WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE? : going with canon ships my muses have? I’d definitely have to go for Jaime x Brienne as well as Sam x Gilly. closely followed by Brynden x being left the fuck alone. my ultimate OTP currently being written on this blog however is Beric x Thoros, simply because these two are so deeply in love and it’s so entirely wholesome and good it makes my heart melt.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? : I honestly don’t really have a set rule for that. I mean I wouldn’t go ahead and ship Beric with Arya or Jeyne, not because the age gap makes me uncomfortable, but rather because I can’t see anyone of Beric’s age being interested in a young girl. most of my ships involve people ranging from their late teens to earily thirties, which, in the ASOIAF context, is pretty fair game I believe.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? :  ish? there are various ships I can see happening with my boys, but I am rather selective with the muns I’d wanna write them with? because I have a hard time writing a ship with someone who’s not a friend of mine ooc. so while for instance, leaning back on Tyrion’s marriage lies he told while he was Hand, the idea of an arranged marriage between Myrcella and, in my case probably Maron Greyjoy would be interesting, I won’t jump at the chance of writing that without a Myrcella I was friends with. so I’m selective when it comes to muns, but not necessarily when it comes to the ships themselves. so long as they’re logical.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NS/FW? : probably what basically everyone says; as soon as clothes come off and hands start travelling to the nether regions. ahem.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH? : listen if I start listing possible ships for 14 characters, we’ll all be here until tomorrow. as a rule of thumb, pretty much any of my younger gentlemen (Grenn, Gendry, Maron, Harrion) are by default interested in pretty much any beautiful girl around their own age range, so long, as mentioned before, the respective ship makes sense.

ANY NOTPS? : Gendry x Arya, absolutely. he considers her to be his little sister, end of story. also Tyrion x Sansa. while he adores her endlessly, Tyrion has no romantic feelings for Sansa, nor will he ever develop any.

[Day6 Fic] Don't Stop The Rain

Who missed me on Tumblr? Lol. No one, ofc. But in case you were one of the Once/Twice series readers (That Young K x Reader fic, Once is a coincidence twice is not), or you don't read on other platforms where I posted this (ao3 or aff), here's another Day6 fic. Only this time, it's Jae x Reader. And I'm not sure if it'd be as good as the other but hope you'll enjoy.

I remembered an anime scene the moment I woke up with the guy and girl sharing umbrella, then I saw a twitter post right after that a rain + umbrella is romantic but.... What if the guy isn't kind at all to share his umbrella with you? 

Chapter 1: Umbrella

It's frustrating when it's raining and you don't have your umbrella with you. But that frustrating moment could turn into a romantic one when there's an attractive guy holding an umbrella beside you--like those in books, movies or dramas, where the guy would offer to share his umbrella. A new love could bloom--or not.

"Aw man, it's raining real hard," the silver-haired guy utters after a groan before glancing at you "You don't have an umbrella?"

"Huh?" you flip your head to look at him, a bit startled, and you can't help but adore his tiny eyes covered by his silver hair. He tilts his head waiting for an answer "Uh, no," you shyly respond with a hope of him to offer his, or at least share it with you.

"That sucks," he just shrugs before looking ahead again and finally taking a step out of the shed.

"What the actual--" confounded with what just happened, you try to gather every ounce of self-restraint to not throw a shoe on him "What a jerk"

Letting out a sharp breath, you hug yourself because it's getting cold and step back so you won't get wet from the rain. You look up to the gloomy sky as you bite your lower lip to stop it from quivering.

It's been almost 10 minutes and you're still hugging yourself, looking down as you wait for the rain to stop.

"Hey! Here," you suddenly heard a not-so-familiar voice. Looking up, you see the stranger from before towering over you with his left arm stretched, holding a spare umbrella.

Maybe he's not a jerk after all. Trying to hide the small smile on your face, you gesture a small bow of gratitude before stretching an arm to reach for the umbrella. "Thank--"

"Woops," he pulls back his arm before you could even have contact with the umbrella. "It's not for free, though" Your forehead furrows "Nothing's free in this world, Lady"

You exhale a sharp breath of surrender before rolling your eyes, "Fine. How much should I pay you for it?"

"Uh-uh", he moves his left index finger left to right as a 'no', "I don't like money. How about a coffee? Since it's cold anyway. Oh! But I don't usually drink coffee. How about a lobster, maybe?"

You squint your eyes in disbelief, "Foget it" A lobster for an umbrella? Man, that's an expensive exchange. I take back what I said. He's really a jerk. A total jerk.

"Okay, then how about chicken? There's a nearby chicken place over there. And I swear, I swear, Man, their chicken is to die for"

"Why don't you just die for it then?"

He shrugs, "I'm sure I'm not the one who'd be dead if I can't go home tonight. I don't have anything important with me that need not to get wet," he eyes the folder, between your chest and arms, containing a lot of files that you need to attend to later. Mr. Park, your boss, would surely kill you if you won’t finish the revisions and of course, if you get those drafts wet and damaged. “I’ll go ahead then.” He says before he turns to take a step away from the shed.

Making a tighter grip on the folder, you take the offer, “Fine! Chicken it is.”

With a wide smile painted on the stranger’s face, he turns around and paces back to finally give you the umbrella he got from a convenience store, a few-minute walk away from the park you’re at.

You walk behind him, struggling a bit with your things, while he, on the other hand, is humming cheerfully as he take small steps with his free hand in his pocket. You glare at him with every bit of annoyance from your system. He doesn’t have a plan on helping me, does he?

“Stop glaring, Missy. I can feel you shooting daggers on me.” He chortles softly “Remember, I just saved your little ass”

“Whatever! And F.Y.I. Mister, my ass ain’t little”

With a smirk on his face, he looks at you over his shoulder, his eyes travel from your head to feet and finally rested on your face. Your eyebrows furrow more.

“Can you not?!”

He sniggers causing his shoulders to move (and causing your stomach to flip and your blood rushing) as he finally faces you and walk towards your side. Your raise a brow and he answers it with a shrug.

“Go,” he motions you to continue walking “I’ll walk beside you. You might go elsewhere to escape if I walk before you.”

Rolling your eyes for how many times now, you sigh and start walking again. The edge of his lips raises again as he take a glance on you without you noticing. He’s so tall that you need to tilt your head almost 75 degrees just to look at his face when he’s just a feet away from you.

He suddenly takes the folder from you which causes your eyes to widen in surprise.

“You walk so slowly. And you might drop these papers and blame it on me and won’t give me that chicken that I want”

You scoff. He’s just so unbelievable, isn’t he? But somehow, you didn’t regret going to the chicken place with him because, yes, he’s actually telling the truth. Their chicken is really to die for.

You both keep eating and your mind becomes busy on thinking of whether to ask anything, say something or just continue to be quiet. You eye him not so subtly and you can’t help but curb yourself from smiling. He looks like a kid enjoying his favorite meal.

You also don’t know if it’s a relief or not that he isn’t saying anything either. You’re about to open your mouth to say something—maybe to ask his name, whether he lives around—but he stands up and utter his thanks before winking at you.

“Gotta go. Next time again”

“There won’t be any next time

He shrugs “We don’t know anything about that. Who knows? We might see each other tomorrow again and the next day after that, and the day after, and the—“

“Whatever. Just go”

He beams, even his eyes are smiling, which causes your heart to make a loud thump. What the heck was that? He mouths ‘See you’ before finally leaving the place.

You finally let go of the breath you don’t know you were holding. You put a hand on your chest and feel that your heartbeat is beating wildly. Why does he need to be cute? You shake your head to erase the thought. No, that’s not right. I mean, why does he need to be a jerk?

“I—“, you get startled by the sudden voice and there he is again standing beside the table. He looks at you a bit with mirth from being surprised. You exhale sharply before glaring at him. “I forgot to tell you, just in case you’ll try finding it later, I’ll take the umbrella with me. It’s stopped raining anyway"

With mouth agape, you just look at his back, your eyes following him as he walks towards the exit. You shake your head again. He’s really unbelievable.

After taking a shower, you take a seat in front of your computer. As if on cue, your phone rings. Your boss is calling you to tell you that he’ll give you until before you live for work tomorrow for the revisions instead of giving it to him first thing in the morning.

You didn’t have a chance to speak because he ended the call right after he told you his concern. You stare at your laptop for a minute, trying to absorb what just happened. You take your phone again to call someone.

“Wonpil!” You exclaim the moment the person on the other line answered “Mr. Park extended my deadline for the revision. And he told me to just rest tonight.”

There was a long pause before he utters a word, “Mr. Park? The Park Sungjin?”

“Yes. He gave me until before I leave for work tomorrow.” A cough can be heard from the other line. You’re pretty sure that Wonpil, your Animator best friend who also works in JYPSoft, is surprised by what he just heard. The CEO, Mr. Park Sungjin, can be approachable and nice but for him, a deadline is a deadline.

“For real?” He confirms in disbelief “But the 3D artists need your concept tomorrow for them to start modeling the characters”

“I—I don’t know. Shall I just ignore it and work for it tonight instead of resting like he said?”

“Yes.”

With a sigh, you called another person.

“Dowoonie,” you bite your lip for a second “Did Mr. Park call you?”

“Nope. Why?”

“Aren’t you going to work with the characters tomorrow for the new game we’re making?”

“Yes. And the non-organic modelers will also do the assets. We would also like to start right away so they’d be textured and give them to the riggers so the animators could work on them as early as possible, too. Why? What’s the matter? You’re having a hard time with the concept revisions?"

You let out a long sigh before shaking your head as if he can see you. “No, no. It’s nothing. Anyway, thank you. I’ll hang up now.”

Forgetting about the call, you pick up the stylus and move the drawing tablet closer to you.

Scratch.

Flip.

Scratch.

You groan as you put your stylus down and slump your upper body and arms on the table. Without permission, someone’s face enters your mind. That slender young man, with his mischievous smile, silver hair, tiny eyes—his overall features that make him look as if he jumped straight out of a comic.

You sit back straight and move the drawing tablet away. You take a blank paper and a pencil and start scribbling. Your hand moves as if it knows exactly what it needs to do. Sometimes, you feel more comfortable drawing traditionally than digitally. You feel more of you are invested to it. That’s why every time an idea comes to mind, paper and pen are your best partners.

You start striding towards Mr. Park’s office the moment you dropped your things on your desk. He is quite surprised to see you peeking through his office door.

“You still have until 5pm. What makes you come here?”

“I’m actually done already, Sir”

He furrows his brows and motions you to continue. You walk towards his table and place the revised concepts. When he sees the first page, his eyes squint before he takes a look at you.

“Why does this character seem familiar?”

Your heart suddenly starts beating fast. “Pardon, Sir?”

Mr. Park just smirks and shakes his head. He… smirked? “You can go rest for today. You can go to the Rec room, grab some coffee, have a date or whatever”

“Sir…?”

He lands a glance on you again. This time it’s a firm glance. “You heard me. Now, go before I change my mind”

The moment you step out of his office, you go straight to Wonpil right away to tell him what just had happened.

“He told you to go to the Recreational Room, where you can play or chill, when you actually need to meet a deadline today?” He asks “Are you sure? I mean, yes, we can go to the Rec Room anytime we want especially when we need our minds to rest and gather some creativity but not on the day of the deadline. You know that”

“Exactly! That’s why it’s weird. He even told me that I can go grab some coffee or have a date or whatever”

Wonpil suddenly grabs your arm and leans closer to you to whisper, “Maybe he likes you? And maybe he’s hoping you’d ask him for coffee?”

“What? That’s ridiculous, Pil”

Brushing aside your best friend’s remark, you spend the day trying to work on more concepts even when you don’t know if your revisions were already approved or need a few more revisions again. The CEO didn’t tell you anything. And it’s almost time for you to leave work but he hasn’t called you for more modification or change. Maybe it was approved?

 You open your bag and check your stuff, taking the umbrella out of your bag, getting it ready just in case it’s raining again. You don’t exactly hate the monsoon season. You don’t really dislike the rain either. It’s just that, sometimes, it really is a hassle.

You are about to leave your desk, bag already slung, when Wonpil calls your attention causing you to put your umbrella on your desk.

“Dowoon said they’ve already worked on with the new characters for the Fortday. So I think the new concepts were approved?” He shows an assuring smile before tapping your back “Now, go ahead. I’ll stay for a little bit more”

You happily walk out of the building. You’re only strolling for 3 minutes but it’s already starting to rain. You halt for a bit, look up to the murky sky and heave a sigh. You open your bag to get your umbrella but it’s nowhere to be found. That’s when you realize, you forgot to get it back from your table. With another sigh, you walk fast towards the shed where you also took covering from the rain yesterday.

“Told ‘ya! We’ll meet again”, the silver-haired asserts with a smug.

Yes, that’s an actual thing Jonsa shipper said to me, talking about all their Oh sO CoNviNcing metas and “foreshadows”. So HERE WE GO, ALL THE ONES I AM AWARE OF AND I HAVE SOME NEW ONES THAT I HAVEN’T SEEN BROUGHT UP SO STAY WITH ME TILL THE END.

1. Both bring their sigil animals, believed to be extinct, back to the game. Jon is the one to convince Ned to save the pups, and he found Ghost himself. Dany literally brought dragons back.

2. Both start as secondary characters, underastimated and both gradually came to being leaders and one of the most iconic characters in both the show and TV as a whole.

3. Both are the underestimated sibling. Jon as a bastard, Dany as a female. Both looked down upon by their family members. 

4. Despite being the undestimated one, Jon is said to have more of North in him than any of his siblings. Tyrion was the one who said that to him, I believe. And Dany ends up being the dragon, so more of a Targaryen or a Valyrian in a way than Viserys.

5. Their first loves died in their arms.

6. What’s also interesting about that ^ is that Drogo dies because of the witch and Dany in books is sure that was the first betrayal she had the vision about, and Ygritte is killed by Olly, who later betrays Jon.  Ygritte in books isn’t killed by Olly, but still by men who end up betraying him. And again, both Ygritte and Drogo were savages, both killed by people who the savages have hurt

7. Both are believed to be The Prince Who Was Promised. They are the two main theories, for sure. And both kinda fit, but not entirely. But when you think about them as whole…They fit much more.

8. Both taken hostage by savages, who they end up leading. Both are attached to those savages, and are accepted by them, despite being outsiders.

9. Both start their journey in the first book, Dany with Dothraki, Jon with the Night’s Watch, which both have a bad reputation, as rapers and thiefs and such. And they both end up as their leaders, both trying to stop the flaws of their packs. Jon trying to help the Wildlings, Dany not allowing them to rape, or steal from in example Qarth, before the shit there goes down, that didn’t go down in the books if i remember correctly.

Both face many setbacks and become increasingly frustrated with their roles as leaders.

11. Both feel so lonely and sad at first. Jon after seeing what NW really was, and Dany does not need to be even explained I think.

10. Both, at some point are given the chance to literally make their dreams come true. Jon being proposed by Stannis to be legitimized as a Stark, and Dany being offered all the ships and money she needed to go to Westeros. And both decline because of morals. Jon keeps his vows, Dany stays to free the slaves.

11.  “One to bed, one to dread, one to love.” Jon is Dany’s third love interest, Daario was more of a bed partner (”to bed”) and Drogo was someone Dany was at first sooo scared of (”one to dread”).

Ok so Dany being called “Moon of my live”, moon is strongly associated with her bc of that, "Dragons come from the moon" thing, like think about a moon in GoT and tell me you don’t think of Dany, and being the only female with silver hair, that being her most iconic trait. ( “ The old woman washed her long, silver-pale hair and gently combed out the snags, all in silence. The girl scrubbed her back and her feet and told her how lucky she was.”)  and this:  “The light of the half-moon turned Vals honey-blond hair a pale silver and left her cheeks as white as snow. So three things that can be considered to be about  Dany in two sentences. And the thing about Jon not smelling the sweetness, which some antis point out, is obvious. He is the sweetness.

Find me another example of someone in GoT feeling alone while sleeping next to their lover, for reasons. Also both mentioned during times when they had to choose. Jon between duty and Ygritte, Dany between duty (marrying Hizdahr) and the man she wanted - Daario.

20.  Both have Mormonts as mentors, Jon has Jeor and Dany has Jorah. Also, Jon wields the Mormont family sword Longclaw which once belonged to Jorah. That’s less powerful, but the only Mormonts we really know until Lyanna are with them, helping them, showing them the way.

Big “Malcolm Merlyn and Oliver Queen are lions and no one can convince me otherwise” trash post bcs I can’t help myself

What It Looks Like versus What’s Really Going On.

Fight me.

Warning: Long post under the cut. Because this is so important.

Both Oliver and Malcolm are big muscly brutes but also stealth ninjas. Plus they’re scary predators and they do most of their hunting at night. Ergo, in the animal world, they’re big cats.

The primary difference between the lion and other cat species is that it’s a social animal. Female lions form prides, male lions form coalitions. Malcolm is always more comfortable working with a group than by his lonesome (even if that group is hostile like Team Arrow). After his return from Nanda Parbat he could have chosen to work alone but didn’t. He looked for partners, created an organisation in order to pursue his goal of saving Starling City. Of course he prefers to be the one calling the shots (as leader of his secret organisation or CEO of Merlyn Global or even Ra’s Al Ghul), but he will bend when necessary (he was Ra’s horseman for years after all). As for Oliver, even if he feels like more of a solo artist, one of the first thing he did coming home is bring Diggle into the fold - just like one of the first thing young solitary male lions do after being kicked out of their pride is find themselves a partner, because they know they have almost no chance of making it out there on their own. Wherever he is, Oliver always ends up joining a group or forming his own. These aren’t just things that happen to him: it’s a choice, or a direct result of his personality. Oliver and Malcolm are both always looking to make alliances with different sorts of people (or groups of people). More than that, they are absolutely ready to ally themselves with somebody they don’t like, with each other, if they need to in order to survive, vanquish a common enemy or protect their family.

Generally, there are two things that matters to a lion (apart from food but that’s like every animal on the planet): family and territory/power. Malcolm Merlyn and Oliver Queen in a nutshell. Also note that while male lions are the only male cats who care about family and have a hand in raising their cubs (mostly by offering protection), their focus is the territory. Which is like the whole theme of Malcolm & Oliver’s story in S1: their unbreakable focus on their respective mission despite the distance and tension it creates between them and their respective family members, motivated by their (delusional?) conviction that they are doing this for their family (to secure a better future for them in a better city in the name of those they have lost). The main difference between them being that Malcolm is way more deranged and mostly doesn’t give a shit about human life if they’re not related to him.

Seriously though these two are mad territorial. Every time there’s a new predator showing up on their turf they just go “who are you and wth are you doing in my city rude i’m gonna beat you up”. Well, in season 1 in Malcolm’s case, because after he was ousted he stopped having a turf. But pretty much all 5 seasons for Oliver? (I think the most “wtf” time was when he decreed that the league couldn’t touch Merlyn in S3 while he was in Starling because he was under his protection or something, like I can’t even?? And every time there’s a new vigilante in town he’s like “nope the only illegal justice in this city is mine get out”)

But yeah ultimately one of the things I find most fascinating about lions is also one of the things I find most fascinating about Oliver and Malcolm. Violent, merciless killers who show a softer, more caring side around their loved ones. For lions, it’s like, how vicious and terrible they are to their enemies or preys has absolutely nothing to do with how affectionate and loving they can be to their companions (think Mr T and Kinky Tail of the Mapogos - bloodthirsty bastards who loved each other like hell). That contrast between the monster and the lover is always at play in Oliver and Malcolm’s characters (ofc with different levels of dominance for each side), and it’s just really interesting to me.

Young male lions leave their pride once they come of age, and spend years in hell as nomads struggling to survive in a hostile environment (between buffalo and crocodiles and most dangerous of all: other lions, pride males often in a coalition, eager to hunt them down and break their spine). They have to learn to fend for themselves for the first time (mommy isn’t here to bring the food home any longer), to hunt and fight and stand up for themselves. Most of them die, but those who survive, those who have managed to become... something else, these ones can hope to conquer their own territory by killing or driving away the older resident kings. If this isn’t Oliver Queen’s story I don’t know what is.

Btw, kicking out their grown-up sons is a very important pride male job. Adolescent males (big, lazy, hungry, aggressive, horny and useless) can become a real weight to the pride if they stay around too long, but if the males are neglectful (Malcolm) or distracted dealing with too many prides (Malcolm), they can be late to the task (Malcolm). But once they do it’s always kinda brutal (Malcolm). No offense to Tommy!

Also, really, if we choose an animal to represent Malcolm or Oliver, you know it has to be some major drama-queen. We-have-literally-evolved-a-mane drama-queen level. And the lions mane has basically three main purposes: 1) protection (practical purpose of the suits), 2) intimidation tactics (actual realest purpose of the suits - the whole Hood and Dark Archer personas), and 3) looking gorgeous and attracting females and I think this really fits Ollie Queen and Malcolm Merlyn (Malcolm doesn’t seem particularly interested in sexual or romantic pursuits but he is vain as hell just look at the guy it’s written all over him).

Male lions’ stories are all about war, just like Oliver and Malcolm’s stories are all about war (particularly S1 Oliver). In terms of evolution, they have sacrificed everything in order to become perfect killing machines. Their role in society is to protect or conquer. It doesn’t matter if they’re tired and just want to settle down with their family (happy little cubs!), if they don’t go looking for war war always comes looking for them - it’s a violent life. For lion fans who follow their shenanigans in real life, it can be kind of like Game of Thrones: you have several coalitions fighting over territory - who will be king? And for how long?

So, just like human warriors, there are two types of successful lions: the fiery ones and the cunning ones, of which I kinda think Oliver and Malcolm are fitting representations. Like Oliver “I fought the Dark Archer and Slade Wilson and won thanks to my mad willpower (also remember when I challenged RA’S AL GHUL to a duel twice)” Queen, some lions never run, are always in the thick of battle, and will fight to the death for their territory even against overwhelming odds (in lion fandom, Kinky Tail and Mr T of the Mapogos are again probably the go-to examples). Others tend to pick their battles, avoid serious injury, can patiently wait for a better opportunity or let go of a territory if outnumbered, and sometimes even let the lionesses do the fighting in their stead (the famous Notch is more this type I think - managed to hold on to his first pride alone for 2 years after the death of his companion with the help of the females, got ousted, came back with his sons and took over half the Masai Mara, and remained healthy and beautiful for all of it).

Lions are bloody resilient creatures. Like, it’s astounding what they can survive, and in battle you can see lions fighting to the end despite terrible injuries (freaking broken backs). Oliver Queen is the Arrowverse’s poster boy for resilience, I am not even going to begin listing the reasons why - it’s all over his body anyway and we viewers are treated to many shirtless scenes. And say what you will about Malcolm Merlyn but he also did go through a lot (poison, an arrow through the chest, torture, a handcut - he also lost everything twice), and he’s still healthy and fighting at like ~52 years old (5 years ago he was already saying that Oliver’s youth was a big advantage). “Every warrior must learn the simple truth: that pain is inevitable and suffering is optional”. They both just never give up.

They are both really intelligent, but unlike Ray, Felicity, Barry, etc. they aren’t scientists or tech geniuses. Oliver and Malcolm’s strength lie in tactic and/or strategy, which is what makes them natural leaders. Lions are often seen as big “all brawn and no brains” animals, but they’re actually pretty calculating. They can’t solve complex logical problems like ravens or crows (that’s Felicity btw - Overwatch), but they can count. They know their stuff when it comes to battle. They can calculate the odds, they have their established tactics when it comes to hunting, and they even make strategic choices all the time. 

Cute little heir is a troublemaker who worships his dad. Dad’s best friend/brother gets rid of both of them in the same trap, forcing Dad to sacrifice himself for son, sentencing son to exile. Son stays in exile for years, ravaged by guilt, and grows into a formidable opponent. When son comes back, Dad’s best friend/brother is forcing his mother to do his bidding. He finds out he’s the one responsible for his father’s death and stops him, but not before the bad guy had a chance to destroy his home. Tell me you don’t see the parallel. They’re lions.
