I finished the fourth book of Super powereds yesterday and I'm in the bittersweet moment when you're so happy to read a series that has connected with you but sad just because it's finished. The characters that you love are not with you anymore.

By the way, although I love this last book I think that it have a problem of lacking of Roy and Hershel. I know I know, every character have their time to shine in the book but I'm playing favorite and Daniels brothers have a special place in my heart.

Major spoilers for year 4 of super powereds.

So I want the take of the other 3 people on this website who have also read super powereds, and I want to infect your brains with the thought I had as well. In year 4 of super powereds nick and will talk about the idea of them and Hershel playing a game of risk or somthing of the like.

My brain hasn't stopped construction the foundation of bullshit from that seed. My first thought is that it's a good while into their respective futures. So it's these three adult men sitting at a coffee table with a risk board infront of them, to once and for all prove who is the superior strategist.

While they play I'd give random flashes to the inciting incidents leading up to the game of risk. Favors will be called upon, bribes made, threats leveled, and backs stabbed. Who would win this three way hell game, idk cause they have to take a litteral week off just to play this knowing full well how long it was going to take.

Anyway does this boat hold water or should Iet it sink.

Still has schizophrenia symptoms once in a while (when he's not okay), but doesn't tell anyone.

two things your character regrets:

Not listening to his son Carl back at the gas station about recruiting Siddiq and being less moved by hatred and more by compassion (which lead to Carl going back to recruit Siddiq, where Carl got bitten, resulting in his death).

Not solving the emotional conflict with Lori before she died. Rick thought he would have more time to make amends and approach his wife Lori again (she was sleeping with his best friend and got pregnant). He never stopped loving her, despite their arguments, despite being so emotionally distant for a while.

two phobias your character has:

1- Potentially developed a fear of confined spaces (claustrophobia) with large crowds (enochlophobia), due to the tight and dangerous situations he often encountered (Prison reckon, being kidnapped by Jadis, being stuck in a tank). Rick doesn't panic- he can stay calm if he's exposed to the phobia, but he would rather not- at the prison, he would rather sleep outside or in more open indoor areas with windows etc. Isolated crowds in the open or isolated confined spaces are less stressful, I think that what gets Rick is when both are combined.

2- He seems to have a fear of heights (needs to be very high height) specially if it's a place he can potentially fall from. When Michonne climbs a very high tree, he keeps asking her so many times if she's okay, and keeps pacing under the tree as if she were doing something very dangerous- to someone who kills zombies every day, Rick seemed to be overreacting a bit. Rick doesn't seem to have any problem climbing things that aren't too high, like fences, or things he can feel safe while climbing (the top of a building, or something he has firm structures to grab). If he had to face high heights, he would though. Rick normally won't let his phobias stop him from acting.

Steven Yeun Recogntion Post: Burning, Nope, The Walking Dead.

King of unsettling me, microexpressions, and stealing the spotlight as my favorite character of whatever he's in.

The Walking Dead: I watched it for the theme song but Glenn (and Hershel) became my favorite characters early on.

Nope: Watched it because it's Jordan Peele but Ricky "Jupe" became the standout for me with his microexpressions and the way he delivered his lines. Ofc Daniel Kaluuya because he's extraordinary.

Burning: Watched because it's based on a work by Haruki Murakami and for Yoo Ah-In but Steven Yeun stole the show again and he wasn't the main character.

I need to watch more Steven Yeun movies. Suggestions welcome!

Tales of TWD ideas I think they should do ✨

Dee/Alpha Part 2 - continuation of the episode in season one, this time including Beta and showing Dee formally becoming Alpha.

Abraham & Eugene - showing off them meeting Al (ie. their alleged tape from FTWD), maybe meeting Rosita!

The Governor - finding Woodbury, beginning to build it up, maybe seeing his dissent into what he became (I’d say including him finding Merle but I heard Michael Rooker doesn’t want to return as Merle).

(If Michael decided to return) Daryl & Merle - showing them at the beginning and ending with them finding the Atlanta camp and agreeing to eventually steal from them, as Daryl mentioned in the show.

Maggie/Hershel JR - following the events of them finding that house on the road with the killer and the pregnant woman who’s baby turned. That story was interesting and I’d love to see Maggie surviving alone and protecting Hershel.

The Clarks (Between 3B and 4A) - If Frank and Alycia agreed to do it, I’d love to see what happened between these two seasons. Like, how they found each other (plus Strand ofc), explaining how Nick got separated from Daniel, etc. That season finale was such good set up and it got basically abandoned :(

Walker & Crazy Dog - what happened to them post 3B? Did they survive and find a new place to live?

(probably an unpopular want) Sherry - I want to see her experience on the road alone between leaving the Sanctuary and eventually finding Dwight! Could also be his POV of what we didn’t see before he showed up on FTWD.

A general idea, but I’d love to see more backstories to iconic walkers from the shows! Like we got with the webseries for Bicycle Girl.

2. Favourite character?

Hershel Layton. He's my precious little baby, i want to push him down a flight of stairs when he least expects it. Des is very close second, though. I'm going to shrink them, put them both in a mason jar and shake them viciously.

9. Favourite minigame?

Miracle mask bunny minigame. It's almost good enough to make me forgive that godawful hamster minigame from pandora's box. Luke and Layton gave that hamster anorexia for real.

11. Who is your favorite recurring gag character?

I like them all but I think my favorite would have to be Aldus. He wants layton's choice ass.

12. Moment that made you laugh?

I only laugh at my own terrible jokes. Although, I live for Antoine Daniel's Professor Layton livestreams. Watching him struggle and lose his mind is very funny.
