I have a head canon that before he was mortal Apollo is an ok parent by godly standards. He has a lot of kids, they seem like they aren't angry towards him and he knows most of his kids in TOA even though he can't remember much else. It's like He's full of himself but that carries over to his kids. He's the center of the universe, perfect, amazing, the literal sun. His kids half of him so they're ALSO perfect, amazing, talented and the best. I really can't think of a Apollo kid that went to Luke's side so I think it's cus they know exactly where they stand with their godly parent. Obviously he's still a God so he wasn't like at their little league games but his cabin knows he thinks about them.

tbh I couldn’t for the life of me pick a color palette I liked And Render it so I gave up on color. Enjoy the half assery.

Tbh I’ve just been call it Ithacan Naga, but it’s objectively it’s a mix of snake, owl/bird, and human. So 🤷.

Tbh the wings are supposed to be white/gray-brown, cause owls & Hermes, while his scales are supposed to be an oscillating scale from sea green-blue to purple-tinted gray. Uhm. Evidently that sorta didn’t happen but also did. So.

The purple/grayer scales are gonna be more around with the feathers and wings.

Those fin colors are. Too blue and too bright but I love the colors themselves so they’re staying for now.

Hi my favorite thing star wars does (knowingly or accidentally) is create their jedi characters and put them in the wrong era.

Like tell me jedi like Osha or Anakin wouldn't fit perfectly in with the Je'daii/Dai bendu era (being able to have attachments/families and being able to utilize both the light and dark sides). Tell me Dalien Brock and Torbin wouldn't be perfect in the Clone Wars era (Dal would have a field day with a hyperdrive and torbin would love the missions on different planets). Obi Wan just fits the vibes of the High Republic so well.

like. spoilers (pretty big ones at that), but.

in your first real conversation with them, in the club, they say they know whenever an idol dies, because it's a "hermes thing". if you ask why, they say they need to be there "to take them where they need to go", with the specifics being a secret to be kept between hermes-es. if instead you say it "sounds grim", they respond, "it's not so bad. charon could be less creepy though."

there's only one answer that makes sense of those two statements, right? hermes had to take calliope's spirit to charon. to hades.

which means. hermes knew, the whole time, that there's more to an idol than just their eidolon (because they know grace has calliope's). they knew what even athena didn't.

just. think about that, and all the implications.
