I've been doing a six fanarts challenge based around LGBT (specifically DNDads) ships on TikTok, and I just finished the first page tonight! I'm real happy with how most of these came out, and it was a wonderful excuse to fully drawn the characters, as I mostly do simplified designs. I had a lot of fun with this, and am really excited to be able to share it with y’all now!

Went a little crazy with the Oakson one I'll admit that... I'm still taking requests for ships in case anyone was wondering, I plan to do wayy more than just 6.

Bleh. Thinking about the parallels between Nick Close/Nicholas Foster being Hermie the Unworthy’s brother. Thinking about how fundamentally Nicky changed in the two timelines because he wanted his dad to be proud of him, how he never really built an identity of his own because he was too busy building an identity for those around him. Thinking of how Nick Close “died” so that a new, better version of him could exist, at least in Jodie’s eyes. Thinking of Hermie betraying his friends to make Scam proud only to learn that all he is to him is a practical joke. Thinking of “who is Hermie the Unworthy?” Of there not being an answer because he never even had the time to flesh out a concrete answer to that question. Thinking of Normal kissing a replica of Hermie and how mad Hermie got about it. Thinking of Hermie dying and being almost immediately replaced even though that was the one thing he wanted least in life.

Thinking about the demon siblings and the fact that they never got to exist for themselves because of the selfishness of others, like Glenn needing his son back so (albeit probably accidentally) triggering Nick’s memories or Normal needing Hermie back so settling for the build a boy.
