Roy is Jason's best friend, nothing is going to change that. But, damn does the archer make it hard for Jason when he goes touching things he shouldn't, things that send them to a completely different universe. A universe in the middle of a galactic war. Really, Jason would just like one thing to be easy in his life.

Batman/Star Wars

They were peacekeepers, not warlords or detectives, for God's sake. They were Jedi and if someone were about to attack Senator Cobblepot, the Republic had enough resources to investigate themselves. It was not his job as a Jedi Knight, goddamn, Dick thought to himself as he set the ship down on Tattoine.

Of course, he'd never voice these thoughts to his Padawan, Damian, as his apprentice mediated lower in the ship. The young one had his own doubts about the mechanics of the Jedi and the Republic as his upbringing was more than unusual.

Dick always knew there was something in the air between his Master and Senator Talia al Ghul. He never liked her much and found himself elsewhere as he and Bruce were in her company but he never would have guessed that there would be a child set down on the Jedi Temple doorstep eight years later. His Master was always very thoughtful about the Jedi Code but a child?

Dick never found out how Bruce explained himself to the Council as he himself found himself on another planet, after he was knighted and had an unlucky fallout with his Master. However, the Council deemed him trustworthy enough and thrust the Force-sensitive child into his care as he returned.

Damian complained oftentimes about his Master, arguing he needed to be Bruce's Padawan or criticized privately the Jedi Code. Years have passed but Dick would not encourage it. His Padawan was certainly talented, a great swordsman and he was not to jeopardize his future.

Dick reached out to the Force and found Damians anticipation to set out on the planet. The Force appeared calm but next to Dicks tranquility and Damians was apprehension, there was something dark, brooding. Not gentle enough to be a Jedi, not dangerous enough to be a Sith - something in between. Something eerily familiar but Dick couldn't put it into words.

As he so often already done during the flight to Tattoine, he wondered how he had gotten into this situation. Apparently he was the only Jedi available to investigate the attampeted assassination om Senator Oswald Cobblepot. Frankly, he was a corrupt slug in the Senate and Dick would be lying if he didn't think it was deserved.

The shot was perfect - straight through the left eye but medical droids have been able to replace his eye and partly his brain - saving this his life.

Rumor on the downtown of Coruscant spoke of a bounty hunter targeting corrupt dirtbags in the Republic, working himself up the hierarchie. Originating from the Outer Rim and finally being noticed by the Senate, the Chancellor has requested the Jedi Council to bring that bounty hunter to court. Oddly enough, the mercenarys recognizable featute was a red helmet, giving him the name "Red Hood"

The Force churned as Jedi Knight Dick and Padawan Damian left the ship.

Ta-Da! A Batman/Star Wars crossover ive been inspired to write after binging

By wonderful and talented heretoday898 (whose Tumblr I haven't found yet). Truly maginficant crossover, Jason being totally badass and smart and reading it has been a maginficant experience.

After finishing it earlier today, I've had this idea in my head and finally had time to write it down.

You see, Jason Todd's story could fit perfectly into the Star Wars universe with him being a Fallen/Grey Jedi. Hear me out:

-Bruce Wayne as a Jedi Knight meets freshly orphaned Dick Grayson, a forcesensitive child and presents him to the Council. He takes him as his Padawan.

-Dick turns into a Knight several years later and on a mission with his Master, they find Jason a child slave, orphaned, yet so powerful and in touch with the Force, it's concerning how the Council has not noticed him in the Force. Bruce considers taking him in as a Padawan aswell, Dick however disagrees. Both Jedi had a lot of arguments in the past and abozt immediately dislikes Jason.

I haven't thought this part through very much but Dick takes of with other Jedi Knights aka Titans to other planets and is not present during Jason's time as a Padawan.

-Jason is brilliant Padawan, thoughtful and caring, strong and considerate. After all the abuse and hurt he has experienced in his short life, he can dedicate his life to the Jedi Code and do good. He is close with Bruce, though his Master has concerns. Jason is very intense with his feelings and the Force seems a lot darkness when he expresses anger.

-Similar to Jason's original story, he finds out about Sheila, tracks her and falls victim to Sith Lord Joker. He dies. At least that's what everyone thinks. Similar to thh Arkham games, Jason gets manipulated and falls - he turns into a Sith apprentice, believing that the Council abandoned him.

-Bruce, heartbroken and hopeless, I thrust another force sensitive child upon. Tim Drake is the child of Senator Jack Drake and lived ever since his childhood with the Jedi Council. Jason being his role model and hero, he tries helping Bruce and getting him back on track. It works.

-Years later, the Jedi Council is attacked. Bombed and swarmed with separatistic droids. A cloaked figure with an imposing, dark Force presence tracks down Jedi Master Bruce and Padawan Drake. He battles them both, first incapacitating Bruce and afterwards beating Tim into a bloody pulp, not even killing him. Bruce can't do anything but watch how this brutal and heartless Sith Lord reveals himself as his former, sweet and caring Padawan.

-Bruce gets up and he and Jason fight. Jason eventually looses and Bruce cries before him. Telling him how much he loved his Padawan, how proud he was and how lost he felt after Sith Lord Joker taunted him with his death. He searched and searched and couldn't even find the body of his lost child. Jason realizes the Jokers manipulation and flees. Bruce lets him, his own feelings in disarray.

-Time passes, the Jedi Temple rebuild, Tim knighted and Bruce finding out he has a child with Senator Talia al Ghul. Dick takes him as his Padawan. In the meantime, corrupt senators are being targeted and Jedi Knight Dick and his Padawan are set out to invastigate. They follow the steps of a bounty hunter Red Hood and soon, Hood and Dick are fighting. While Hood fights at the beginning with his blasters, he finds himself forced to use is lightsaber as Dick holds his own to his throat. Dick recognizes the lightsaber, anguished and attacks even harder, believing Hood to be any kind of bounty hunter who obtained Jason's lightsaber on a black market.

-Dick slashes through the helmet and halts apruptly, recognizing the turquoise eyes, tinted with yellow flecks. As whisper "Little Wing..?" All tensions flee from Hood, he sighs and takes his helmet off.

-Dick has never been close to Bruce's new Padawan but even he could recognize his talent and his gentle nature. He hated Bruce, not the boy. He hadn't known Jason was still alive, after all he was not present at the Jedi Temple's aftack. And now, an older face, marred with horrible scars looked back at him, tired but still fierce. The Force felt balanced around his little wing, neither Jedi nor Sith. No, he was not balanced, still chaotic and deeply troubled but he was on a thin rope between light and dark.

-Jason has been trying to leave his past behind him, not feeling worthy to return to the Council after all the things he had done, alle the pain he had caused. He fled to the Outer Rim and started as a bounty hunter to ensure his living. Killing corrupt senators was never planned but it was something he wanted to do ever since his time as Bruce's Padawan. These people in power caused tragedy over so many planets and flourished in they decadence on wealthy planets like Coruscant. With Roy Harper, failed Padawan of Master Oliver Queen and Koriand'r enslaved princess of Tamaraen, he made his own way through the galaxy.

Anyway, this is all up to this point. This idea has been on my mind through out the day and while I don't think i have the abilities to write such universe, I wanted to put this concept into the world. I might write some oneshots of some scenes but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

As you might have noticed, English is not my mother tongue, another reason why I'd never write this crossover the way I'd like to, which is why I apologize for any mistakes and typos.

However, if you feel inspired by this idea and want draw it to write it down, go ahead! I'd love to see someone visualize this because I think there's a lot of potential here. Tag me if you like and feel free to add your own thoughts!
