Hobie shook his head. "Bit further. C’mon!" He lead them across the water again, using the trees that bordered the canal to clear the distance; the fog had left a film of moisture on the leaves that spattered his trousers and made his boots gleam wetly in the headlights of the traffic, on the other side. Miles sucked in a short breath between his teeth. Swearing under his breath, Hobie caught his arm and webbed them onto the face of an old Georgian townhouse. He nudged Miles ahead of him and they crawled up the narrow space between the tall windows to the roof in single file. Where they stepped, they both left damp footprints on the shingles, but Miles’ clothes stuck to him awkwardly the way a water-tight Suit would never. Hobie chafed his arm and waited for Margo to double back to them, before he pointed Northeast. "S’just this way, yeah? Watch out for the church; ain’t too far. We can circle back and stop in The Punjab after. It’s good stuff," he promised. "Pav-approved." "Cool, alright." Miles bounced on the balls of his feet, his breath misting in front of him. He pulled his sleeves down lower over his hands and took a running start off the roof. "Race you?" he called back.

My word was WATER.

W - "Well," Louis says, gesturing around them, "you are in my neck of the woods now, aren't you?"

Daniel concedes with a tilt of his head. He can't say he hadn't thought of that.

A - A part of his mind wants to reject it; the life he's led—the things he has done—not making him deserving of the gentleness. But he allows Erwin to continue, keeping his eyes closed as Erwin raises their hands between them, breathes a hot breath against Levi’s fingers as if to warm them, and places a chaste kiss against his knuckles.

T - The reality suits Louis better. It's subtle; it'll probably take years to buff away the smooth, practiced dialect that had no doubt been a choice on Louis' part. But he doesn't seem to be fighting it. Daniel's happy to hear it, if he's being honest with himself.

E - Erwin is walking the line between superior and familiar. Commanding officer and friend. Levi can tell, and so can everyone else in the room.

R - "Right," Daniel drawls, stepping up a few feet in the line. "And I guess that NDA I signed was just for my health?"

UPDATE: NEW LINK! Yahya and his family were displaced by the IOF, and are currently residing in Deir al-Balah, south-central Gaza.

Life as displaced Gazans was already extremely difficult for them. Food is very scarce, and their living conditions leave them exposed to the elements. Here is the frequent condition of their tent now that the winter rains have come:

Then, Yahya’s father was injured. Some cartilage was damaged in his neck, and doctors say he requires IMMEDIATE surgery to avoid permanent paralysis.

Yahya and his family previously had another campaign, but it was suddenly shut down by GFM with no explanation. They have created a new one, but it has EXTREMELY LOW FUNDS.

The surgery is a stifling €15,000 euros (about $15,729 USD). Yahya and his family have no hope of paying for it without your help.

I am currently watching an elderly loved one lose their mobility, and it is an extremely heartbreaking and isolating situation. I cannot imagine what Yahya and his family are going through, having no social or financial support and only minimal medical care.

Please give what you can to this family. You are their only hope to save their beloved father’s mobility!
