So, between Ul'dah being so corrupt it's almost a joke and the weird catholic elves of Coerthas being FUCKING INSANE with literal Inquisitors running around throwing people off cliffs to prove their innocence in death, I'm starting to think Eorzea is, maybe, not a great place to live. I mean, sure it has angry gods and monsters, but what fantasy setting doesn't? It's beautiful, but my GOD, good luck finding a place to live even with other PEOPLE that doesn't fully suck.

I stand by my decision to join the pirates because the corrupt ones there are like, you know, the bad kind of pirates who maraud and rape and pillage, and we can just kill them easily as they crop up. They're not deeply entrenched oligarchs or theocrats who can't be eradicated. It's not IDEAL, but it's our best option so far.

So in addition to burning Ul'dah to the ground, we're also going to raze Elfsylvania and start fresh, it's a bad one, you don't really come back from literal witch trials, I still think somebody should have killed and eaten all the puritans, maybe then we wouldn't have Texas.

So, after stripping them twice, ive finally painted the warhammer minis i ever got to a standard im happy with. i got these bad boys in the First Strike starter set back in feb of 2020. well. thats when i ordered them at least. they actually showed up oct, u kno, cos of the whole pandemic thing that happened. truthfully Warhammer 40k Build+Paint Space Marine Heavy Assault set arrived first (i ordered it from a different vendor) arrived first, but thats old as balls. like, the terminators are still on 25mm bases and the dreadnought had a multimelta, and i ordered it after First Strike, so pbtpbtpbt! Any lore underthe cut as usual

I've mentioned before that Vio does not fit the Kingmaker Aasimar mechanics. He isn't the default aasimar, he's an Archon-blooded aasimar with darkvision (the trait replaced by the halo in 1e) and rather than a spell-like ability, he has healing tears!

Similarly, he would be a Divine Paragon archetype Cleric or a Faith Hunter/Preacher archetype Inquisitor (both archetypes at once).

I flipped into a muddy puddle with a splash, decorating the onlookers with a cascade of mud and they jostled themselves backwards another ten steps. I glanced down at my feet submerged within its brown reflective depths, a violet flash and a clap of earth shackling thunder propelled a fizzling static cloud that now hurtled in my direction. I twisted awkwardly, twirling out the water and onto a dryer patch of grass and gravel. A deep scorch is all that remained of the area I had evicted myself from.

“You will have no time to fight a Mage if you constantly need to defend and retreat. You can only hope that I run out of mana before I kill you.” Solas admonished from his corner; he hadn’t moved a step since he entered. He hadn’t needed to, and it only agitated me further.

“Then I propose we keep dancing until you bleed dry.” I jeered, my resentment besting me.
