saw creech's post about the hyperfocus on shipping in the RPC and thought i'd contribute.

i think a lot of the focus on romantic/sexual stuff-- i.e., most memes being romance related, Sinday, etc. can be unintentionally exclusive of muses who aren't really 'shippable'. a lot of my muses are minors, particularly gold, and it's been a struggle to find memes that don't lean in a sexual/romantic direction to reblog onto here.

i'm sure it's not just muses who are minors either--- it's probably also a struggle for muses who are older than the average muse age on here, aro/ace muses, nonhuman muses, etc. and while the RPC is ultimately built on how characters relate to each other, it's important to note that other types of relationships exist and are just as valid.
