jesus christ the door to door solicitors in this neighborhood are insane. at our old house we never got this. but weve had at least two a month during the good weather months all year that weve lived here.

we need a no soliciting sign.

at our old house we let a wasp set up on our porch. the nest was the size of a baseball by the time they abandoned it several years later. maybe we need another one of those.

#im actually genuinely sad i havent noticed any wasps around our house #theyre amazing pollinators and our peaches were massive and juicy at our old house #here we dont have a peach tree but we have a grape vine #maybe if i plant a peach tree we will get wasps?#and attractive pollinator flowers #my mom had planted a bunch of spring perennials in the garden bed #but tehyre all back to hibernating by the time it starts getting hot #plus this spring and last spring were rough on the plants so they may have died #but i wanna plant native plants and lit a variety so that theres (almost) always something blooming #problem is part of what was rough on the plants these past two springs is me... im a terrible gardener #ah look at me rambling when i have shit to do
