Kageyama Tobio was an enigma to you. To put it simply and rather rudely, he was an absolute weirdo who scared the living shit out of you.

He sleeps in class, doesn't hand in his homework, and has a glare so cold it could stop global warming. He hangs out with this weird orange dude, and they were always fighting and screaming, like a bunch of baboons. 

Kageyama Tobio has the most intense look in the world. It’s especially evident when he’s in front of the vending machine, staring it down as though it killed his mother, promising vengeance and death to all who dare interrupt his daily sacrifice ritual. 

And for what? All for a packet of milk. 

Kageyama Tobio terrifies you. You sit in front of him in class, and when he’s not asleep, or brawling with his friend, he’s staring at you, or rather, the red string that intertwines the both of you. 

You had both gawked at each other (well he sort of glared at you) when you first saw each other at school. You weren’t sure who you were expecting for a soulmate, but it definitely wasn’t an angry oddball with a strange fixation for milk. 

Sometimes, he’d tug the string, which was sorta cute, if not for his incredibly intense stare that you could keenly feel, which would be cute if not for his very very intense face and "TALK TO ME AND DIE" aura.

You had wanted to approach your soulmate multiple times, but he scared you off each time, and frankly, you were too shy and awkward to approach him. 

Because despite his scary stare, he was damn good at what he did. On the court, he seemed to be much happier, and you’d occasionally catch him smiling. 

His intensity, focus and drive was incredibly attractive (so long it was about volleyball), and there were times you’d find yourself staring at him, awed by his talent, dedication and strength.

So as odd or scary Kageyama Tobio was, you couldn’t help but feel a little drawn to him. 

Now you weren’t sure of it was because of the red string, or because you were soulmates, but you’d often find yourself coming across him, be it from his runs, or at his games, or even when you were out buying groceries. 

And you’d try and offer him a shy smile,  a peace offering of sorts in a way. But he’d always glare at you, with those dark, scary, but incredibly enchanting midnight blue eyes of his, and you’d look away, feeling a little miffed and a little sorry for yourself. 

You couldn’t help but feel that Kageyama Tobio must not like you very much. 

You’d found him once, at a local library, sprawled on the desk, drooling a little as he slept the afternoon away. It was during winter, and you couldn’t help but feel you heart soften little as he laid there, noticing how soft and boyish he looked, and a little dumb as he drooled onto the table, snoring lightly. 

After a moment’s hesitation, you walked over, and draped the sweater you had been carrying onto him, hoping he wouldn’t catch a cold. You had noticed the setter’s diligence in taking care of his body, moisturising his hands and always warming up or stretching, so you couldn’t help but wonder what had made him so tired that he would fall asleep in public. 

It was both hard and easy, as you tried not to fall for him. He was definitely a weird one, but something about him seemed so earnest and sincere, especially when he played volleyball. 

You sighed. Pining after someone was never easy, especially since that someone seemed to dislike you so much. 

The next day, you found your sweater on your desk, with a little note that had a messily scrawled “thank you” on it. You couldn’t help but glance at your soulmate behind you, but he was fast asleep once more, looking oddly adorable and childlike, a stark contrast from the scary looking gaze he usually wore. 

You put the sweater on , feeling a little miffed that he didn’t even thank you personally, or tried to talk to you. 

As you focused in class, you couldn’t help but notice that your jacket now smelt of baby powder, comforting, light and cozy. It was nice, to say the least. 

As you stared out the window, tugging at the red string a little, you couldn’t help but muse to yourself, questioning if the Old Man Under The Moon made a mistake when he tied your red string to Kageyama Tobio, because it seemed like a relationship would never spark between the both of you. The boy had never spoke to you, despite being in the same class for nearly half a year, though you suppose, you had never spoke to him as well. 

Kageyama Tobio liked you. He liked you a lot. A little too much if you asked him. 

You were sorta pretty, sorta cute, and he would deny it off he was ever asked, but never in his life has he wanted to hug someone so badly. 

He was afraid though, afraid of you. Afraid that you’d find him too egoistical, too prideful, too loud, just as his old team did. You looked so small, so cute, almost like a little hamster, or a volleyball. 

He was, frankly speaking, terrified of how perfect you seemed. You’d smile at him sometimes in the hallways, and he’d stare just a little too long because your smile had no right being that pretty. 

In class, you were always so focused, so on task. Watching you made him feel happy, not that he’d ever admit that.  And when he passed by you in the street, he couldn’t help but look at you, because sometimes, he felt as though you could disappear at any moment because nothing good ever lasted for him.

When he had woken up in the library, a new article of clothing draped on his back, he had been thrilled to say the least. He would forever deny the manly squeal he let out that got him kicked out of the library. 

He had seen you wear that sweater many times, and had fantasised hugging you in it, or kissing your soft cheeks. He hugged the sweater, spacing out as he daydreamt about you. 

God, you smelled really good. 

Sometimes, he would tug on the red string, and seeing it move and float in the air amazed him. A string just for you and him to see, connected through space and time.

And he’d wonder, if the Old Man Under The Moon made a mistake, because his soulmate seemed just a little too good for him. 

You thumbed your sweater nervously, occasionally tugging at the loose threads, as the smell of baby powder engulfed your body. God, what detergent did he use? Because Kageyama Tobio smelled good. 

You hadn’t every really bothered with scents or perfumes before, but his smell reminded you of a lovely embrace, full of love and warmth, and familiarity. 

You couldn’t help but want to know what brand of detergent he was using, and you were sorta tired of his perpetually grumpy face and intense stares, as well as the lack of communication between the both of you, because you were soulmates for goodness sake. Clearly, someone was going to have to step up and it was clear that it wouldn't be him despite all his…energy. 

So you walked up to him as class ended, and gathered every bit of courage you had in your body (which was not much sadly), and tapped him on his arm, hoping you wouldn’t come across as a total creep who had been obsessively sniffing his jacket like it was marijuana. 

“Kageyama, what brand of perfume do you use? It smells really nice.”

He blinked down at you, and to your surprise and utmost delight, his entire face went beet red, resembling the stop sign you’d find on roads. 

He twiddled with the red string nervously as he looked everywhere but at you, before mumbling something incoherent. 

You couldn’t help but let an amused grin light up your face. So he was the shy type. 

You suddenly felt a burst of confidence, and an odd sense of cockiness fill you as Kageyama turned as red as your strings. It was cute, seeing what you thought was a scary and angry boy fumble with your soulmate strings, blushing bright red, eyes flitting about nervously. 

It was an endearing sight. 

You held out your hand, before asking amusedly, “Can I have your phone?” 

He blurted out instantaneously, hands holding his phone like he was offering you a sacrifice.

“Take it.”

And you couldn’t help but laugh, as his face turned vermillion. Turns out he wasn’t as scary as you thought. 

You typed out your number and contact on his phone, before flashing him a teasing grin, as Kageyama Tobio stood there in a daze, staring at his phone as though he had never seen one before. 

“Call me when you find that brand of perfume! It smells nice.” 

You left the classroom, feeling a little giddy, as Kageyama stood alone in the classroom, rooted to his spot, staring after you , as a singular thought echoed in his head dazedly. 

He didn’t use any perfume.

Phasma x Fem!Reader

Warnings: None that I could think of. Let me know if there’s something I need to add! (not proofread!!)

Summary: Things haven’t gone well for you since you, Rose, and Finn snuck aboard The Supremacy, but as the chaos unfolds around you, you find someone you’d long presumed dead.

A/n: There are multiple references to Phasma’s past which I learned from the book about her by Delilah S. Dawson (def. recommend giving it a read if you haven’t!)

A/n: I know I'm super behind on a bunch of fics but I had to get this one out of my system before I could go back to my other WIP's!!

Word Count: 1,706

The smoke and ash in the air was suffocating, the fire heating your blood to the point where it felt like it was boiling in your veins. You still weren’t entirely sure what had happened, all you knew was that one second you’d been moments away from execution and the next you were running through fire for your life. You’d lost track of Finn and Rose in the chaos and you hadn’t seen BB8 since you were captured. As far as you knew, you were on your own. A blaster fired somewhere nearby and you dropped to your knees, not even bothering to look if the shot was aimed your way. You coughed through the smoke, crawling along the ground as you tried to find a way off the blazing ship. 

Finally, you saw it; an intact shuttle about fifty feet away. You leapt to your feet and started running, stopping in your tracks when—from somewhere to your left—you heard Rose shout, “Finn!” and several blaster shots. You turned to find Finn facing off against the silver stormtrooper from before, fighting for his life against the hulking figure. You watched the fight, frozen in place. There was something about the stormtrooper that felt familiar to you. Maybe it was their stature, which reminded you far too closely of someone you once knew, or perhaps it was the way they fought, brutal, sadistic, and yet calculated, which again reminded you of a person from your past. The feeling was almost magnetic, as if trying to pull you to the trooper. You watched, almost in a daze, as Finn took a beating against the silver brute, breaking from your trance when Finn managed to return a blow, sparks—quite literally—flying as his riot baton struck their helmet. The stormtrooper’s head snapped to the side, half of their helmet gone. They looked right at you and you froze, your heart hammering in your chest. From the gap in the helmet a single icy-blue eye met yours, an eye you knew all too well. A part of you couldn’t believe what you were seeing. She was dead. She had to be. Yet, you knew her eyes better than anyone and, here they were, staring back at you. 

You saw Finn raise the baton again and, in a split second, you made a choice. You ran towards the fighters, releasing your blaster from its holster as you shouted, “Finn, no!” 

You raised the blaster and fired, one shot hitting his hip, the second his shoulder. Behind you, you heard Rose cry, “Y/n, what are you doing?!” and fired blindly behind you, ensuring no one could stop you from reaching her. 

“Phasma!” you shouted, reaching the trooper and grabbing hold of her wrist, “Come on! We have to go!”

“Release me, scum!” she snarled, trying to pull away, but you held her wrist in a death grip.

“Phasma, please! We have to leave!” you shouted over the roaring flames, tugging her towards the shuttle, “Come on! I’m not losing you again!”

She stopped trying to pull away, looking down at you with a confused shadow in her eye. Yet, after a moment, her gaze shifted from one of confusion to one of disbelief. She whispered your name, as if trying to convince herself that it truly was you standing before her. You nodded, tears gathering in your eyes from a mixture of the smoke and your own disbelief as you pulled her towards the shuttle, the two of you running through the flames like bats out of hell. You hadn’t even taken the time to process what you had just done, knowing there would be time for that later.

The two of you boarded the shuttle and you sat down in the co-pilot's seat, choking out, “Please tell me you know how to fly one of these things.” as you tried to expel the smoke from your lungs. Phasma glared at you through the gap in her helmet as she sat down in the pilot's chair, “Right, sorry. Stupid statement.”

Without so much as a word to you, Phasma began to work the controls, her movements a blur as the engines roared to life and the shuttle took off. You barely had time to glance at the rebel transports before the shuttle launched into lightspeed, leaving the Rebels and the First Order behind you. 

You released a shaky breath you weren’t even aware you’d been holding in, burying your face in your hands as the realisation of your actions crashed over you. You’d betrayed the Resistance. Your friends, Leia, everything you’d come to know. You might have just killed Finn and Rose… And yet, as you glanced over at Phasma, you couldn’t help but think that it had been worth it. Phasma had been your partner back on Parnassos, and you’d spent the last 16 years thinking she was gone. Now, having her there, sitting next to you, it felt surreal. You could have sworn you were dreaming were it not for the stinging burns on your arms and the ash that coated your mouth and throat. You bit down on your finger, wanting to say something but unsure of what you could say. 

It was Phasma who broke the silence, taking off her broken helmet and turning to you. She was exactly as you’d remembered; platinum-blonde hair cropped at her jaw, icy-blue eyes, powerful features and a scar in the upper corner of her lip. 

“I thought you were dead.” she stated, her voice silky and monotone; just as you remembered.

“So did I…”

“How did you survive? Bredol Hux destroyed the Scyre. How did you get off the planet?”

“After Keldo and the others went after you—when nearly a month had gone by and no one came back—I left the Scyre… I spent months just wandering before I found one of the old stations… it had a working escape pod and I used it… wound up on D'Qar… General Organa took me in… What the hell happened to you?”

“I… It’s complicated…”

“I have time.” you shrugged. You’d waited 16 years for an answer, you weren’t about to wait another second. “How the hell did you end up a captain in the First Order?”

Phasma sighed, running a hand through her hair before launching into the story of who she’d come to be with the First Order; how she’d betrayed Siv and the others, how Brendol had made her a captain right out of training. And you sat there and listened to all of it, to every detail. A part of you understood why she’d done it; she was always strategic, doing whatever she thought necessary to stay alive. Yet, you couldn’t shake the thought of her massacring thousands of innocent people, following orders like a damn robot. Phasma had never been one to take orders from anyone, you couldn’t picture her acting like the First Order’s lapdog and yet, she had…

When she’d finished Phasma looked at you, trying to discern your reaction, waiting for some kind of a response. But you sat there, face blank, as you processed everything. You loved Phasma, that had never changed and never would, but you knew you’d never be able to forget the lives she’d taken, the blood that would forever stain her. 

“Say something.” she demanded, your silence growing too much for her.

“What is there to say?” you asked, your voice too monotone for her liking, “We both did what we thought was best to survive…”

“You;ll never be able to let it go, will you? The fact that I’ve killed for—?”

“I’ve killed for the Resistance too.” you cut her off, your expression softening to one of understanding, “You’re not the only one with blood on your hands. It’s just… difficult to process it all… the fact that you were willing to follow orders that meant killing thousands of innocents—”

“As if the Resistance has never hurt—!”

“I’m not saying the Resistance was perfect!” you snapped, “It had its flaws, but it didn’t go out of its way to kill people…”

Silence enveloped the two of you again, your words hanging heavily between you. You had hoped to postpone this conversation, yet it was almost better to get it out of the way now. It didn’t sit quite right with you, blaming her for doing what she had to to survive. You were certain, had the roles been reversed, that you would have done the same and that, if you had, it would be her scolding you, not the other way around.

“Where are we going?” you asked after a time, hoping to change the conversation. There would be plenty of time to talk about this more later.

“Home.” Phasma said simply as she stood up, beginning to remove the rest of her armour.

“Home?” you’d hardly thought of Parnassos since you’d left, wanting to put that vile place in your past.

“It’s the last place anyone would think to look for us—assuming they don’t think we’re dead. I doubt the Resistance would bother looking for you there to begin with, as far as the First Order’s concerned, the planet was destroyed.”

“Is it even worth going back?” you questioned, “If the rest of the planet’s like the Scyre, we’re—”

“It’s not… I’ve seen it myself… There’s still green on the other half of the planet. We just happened to live on the wrong side of it.”

A part of you didn’t believe her, but she had no reason to lie. So you stayed quiet and let her take the lead, knowing it didn’t really matter where you went, so long as you were safe and so long as you had her. Everything else came second to ensuring that you never left Phasma. Those first few years after you’d thought she’d died were torturous, and you dreaded ever having to feel that again. She had been your heart—your whole world. Having her back felt like finding a piece of yourself again and, this time, you weren’t going to let her go. Wherever she went, you would follow. You would run together, traitors and enemies on both sides of the war, and you would survive, as you always had.

Just a Sunday lunch at the Burrow while dating Bill.

Bill calls for me as I walk down the hall to the bathroom to freshen up before lunch. I smile at the reflection, pleased with my appearance. “Y/n, if you don’t hurry up we are going to be late. I know mum won’t say anything to you, but I would rather not be naked before lunch.” Bill calls, exasperated. I roll my eyes, giggles filling the small bathroom.

Unbelievable, Bill Weasley, infamous curse breaker, terrified of his mother. Imagine how that woman would react if she found out her eldest son spent the night at my house.

“Y/n!” I giggle, walking down the stairs, fixing the charm bracelet. “Bill,calm down,” I say calmly. “I’ll explain to your mother you were waiting on me. She knows how long it takes me to get ready.” Bill stood with his back turned to me,mumbling something I couldn’t hear.

“Want to repeat that Weasley?” 

Bill turns abruptly, spinning so face he almost tumbles. “What is that?” I look down smiling at the handmade navy blue jumper adorned with a golden W. It was my favorite one so far. Mrs Weasley made this his final year at Hogwarts, the year we got together. 

“Where do you think you're going wearing that?” I fake pout, bottom lip sticking out. “Do you not like it?” He growls as he stalks over to me. “You know that is not the case.” There was a spark in his eyes that sent a fuzzy feeling through out my fingers. “Oh I know. I specifically remember how much you liked it last night.” I whisper breathlessly, as his finger press into the naked skin under the jumper, his head falling onto my shoulder. “Not fair, Flint.” I giggle, turning  my head, slightly to place a kiss to his cheek. “Cmon William. Time for lunch. I promised to help Ginny with her hair after lunch.”

There used to be a time where I didn’t feel welcomed at the Burrow. Coming from a pureblood family who believed in that blood supremacy bullshit, the Weasleys weren’t the most welcoming towards me. It wasn’t until my parents disowned me for being with Bill, did they start to warm up with me. Now I was part of the family, minus the married part. Now the twins use me as a sound board for their pranks. Percy likes to talk to me about his books. Even Ron decided I am good enough to play chess with. Mr Weasley enjoys showing me all his muggle stuff. I'm pretty sure Mrs Weasley loves me more than Bill.

“Oh dearie, how are you?” Mrs Weasley asks, pulling me into a tight hug. I smile, leaning into the embrace. She is so different compared to my mother. I know my mother loves me, but she was never one for physical touch. Always said it was beneath the family and was disgraceful.

“I am doing good, Mrs Weasley. Sorry we are late. I was trying to finish my hair.” She waves it off, pulling Bill into a hug. “Hello mum. You know your son is here too.” Mrs Weasley and I share a laugh. “Yes. Yes. Hello Bill.” She says sweetly, placing a kiss to his cheek before turning towards me. “Can you help me in the kitchen dear?” I nod. “Of course” Bill swoops down, placing a kiss on my cheek before he walks outside to greet his father. 

Ginny and Hermione were already in the kitchen as Mrs Weasley and I joined them. We all greet each other, hugging each other tightly. We all work in tandem as we finish lunch, laughing as we go. 

After setting the table, everyone sits at the table. Bill at my left. Percy to my right. Fred directly across from me. “So Y/n,” George started, sharing an identical smirk with his twin. “Nice jumper.” Bill chokes on his drink as my face flushes brightly. “Yes, nice jumper indeed. Maybe mum will knit you one this Christmas so you don't have to steal poor William’s.”

Everyone at the table erupts in laughter. Mr Weasley tries unsuccessfully to scold the twins as Molly’s eyes twinkle with a look I am certain I should fear. 

Maybe I might be getting my own jumper this year.

Truly believe in Barou Isagi rival supremacy the on/off field dynamic always gets me though it’s like we see dyed hair hyped up lion entrance king Barou in the Ubers match and then we see another scene of him hair down meditating in their screen room (??) with like peaceful white noise LMAO but also speaking of which the light novel is releasing like next week iirc I need to get my hands on that thing

FRRR lmao teenage boy friendships and dynamics are so funny like it definitely just reminds me of how I see high school boys acting and joking around with each other

The “basically anyone but Isagi” makes me laugh so hard for whatever reason but so true…even Isagi gets labeled as “Slursagi” everywhere because of how he acts on the field (and also that fan translation omg)

OUUU REO Y/N LORE DROP I cant lie whenever I read works that have Reo and y/n as friends or having some form of platonic relationship (even if the work isn’t Nagi centric!) I find it really interesting maybe because I can see Reo kinda fitting like a bestie position like Chigiri is to you (I think) LOL ESPECIALLY when y/n fills that role of Nagi for Reo before meeting Nagi like I swear I’ve seen a couple (like one or two they’re kinda rare shsgshs) other works that play around with my dynamic and I honestly find it so fun to read so I’m looking forward to that potential next installment!!! Maybe it’s also that kind of relationships drifting apart and sometimes coming back together thing you mentioned that gets me…kinda reminiscent of the childhood friends theme too! But this reminds me I think I should do a reread refresher of everything again because I’ve had my brain just filled with Karasu lately oops but I’m READY FOR THE NAGI Y/N BREAKUP SCENES HAHAHA locked in for the drama

HAHA isagi def gets his fair share of shit but i think he has protagonist aura + we see so much of him off field that people generally agree that he’s a green flag because we really get to know what he’s like in his daily life!! also tbf isagi def is a little brutal on field but honestly he only ever gives back as good as he gets so i think the bad rep is a bit undeserved 😓 i think every example of him talking shit has been in response to another character dogging on him first — hence why players like hiori, nanase, kurona, and ig kiyora haven’t been insulted by him yet!! isagi is just an energy matcher fr 🥱

omg that story that these requests are based off of is sooo extensive it’s an attack on titan fic but it’s based mostly on a part of the world we don’t see in the show so the plot and characters are mostly mine (w some canon ones thrown in there for funsies). it’s probably one of my fav stories i’ve written even though i never finished because that y/n is fascinating — she is forced to commit some crazy war crimes and then has severe ptsd from it, and she’s also very very intelligent and selfish which is a rlly cool combo to write — and so much of the story is focused on her mental health issues and slow spiral. she’s almost like the forebear of hollyhock y/n LMAOO

man honestly i need to reread peregrine too just so i don’t accidentally contradict myself when writing it 😭 reo y/n may and chigiri are such a fun and interesting little friend group because they’re so fluid?? like there’s a lot of dynamics changing around there. and yess chigiri is my bestie!! tbh reo kinda is too even though i find him handsome just because i could never read or write for him…the instant nagi pulls up it’s wraps

i don’t mind shippers but i do agree that the shipping culture has changed a lot from how it used to be!! i have always loved rare pairs because they allow for more unique character exploration but as of late people have been very against rare pairs i feel?? like no you MUST ship “x” popular pairing or else you’re dumb and didn’t understand the media. i’ve also noticed people trying to make the most random ships problematic…it truly is never that deep never that serious and no a ship is not problematic just because the characters don’t like each other in canon or wtvr. that’s the whole fun of fandom and fanfiction!! imposing rules on it takes that away

the epinagi artist is just phenomenal they really do get the essence of nagi down pat…like his cute squishiness but also his colder side?? plus major bonus points for how they draw karasu 😮‍💨

HAHA rin and shidou are HUGE in that art and they’re like the only two characters in the spread i don’t care as much abt 😭 i fear a tabieitaken spread may never happen (unless we get smth w them in epinagi??)…also yes i figured ego was unnoticeable enough that it didn’t matter + he makes sure my pinned isn’t overwhelmed by shidou’s hot pink aura so in the end i can’t complain too much 🤷🏻‍♀️

"Thor, Are you going to tell me where this brother of yours is finally?" Thor glared at Tony as he questioned him. Again.

"I told you, i do not know of his whereabouts"

"Uhhhuh? So tell me about this heimdall person, i learned that he can see everything and he can find Loki no matter where in the galaxy he is" Tony said

"And where did you learn this completely untrue information from? " Thor asked him, not that stark was wrong but he couldn't have told him the truth just yet.

"Doctor selvig" Ofcourse.

"Look if I had any inkling where Loki was I'd go get him right this moment" Thor answered him so Tony sighed before he walked away.

"I love kissing you" you giggled as you pressed a small fleeting kiss on his lips again. He smiled and tucked your hair behind your ears, he really was enjoying having you on top of him on the sofa, maybe the dream wasn't so far from the reality after all.

Last night you thought waking up in the morning after that intense kiss would make you feel awkward with him, that's usually what happened before, guys used to get too sexual too fast and you never even felt the heat with them, most of the time you would just indulge them so you'd be done with the sex stuff and get back to them being nice to you for no reason. But Things didn't feel weird with Loki at all.

You woke up and he was in the kitchen trying to make you a cup of tea first thing in the morning, your heart soared at the sight of him and it made you feel so emotional about him, after that he sat down with you and you both had a conversation about this thing between you two. He had made it clear that he didn't want just sex with you and you didn't feel used by him, you felt so comfortable with him that it just all came naturally to you, the urge to coddle him was intense but at the same time it didn't make you feel as if you were annoying him with the constant affection that wasn't purely sexual in nature.

"So are you sweet princess..I wish you didn't have to go" he mumbled as he kissed you again.

"I know I'm sorry but mommy gotta work so she can spoil you rotten with fancy stuff you know" you joked but it probably went over his head because his cheeks were flushed to the max, you hadn't seen such rosy cheeks before "I was kidding lo" he nodded as you said that, he was finally able to breathe. As you got off his lap, he tilted his head to look at you. Why were you so beautiful?

"Don't you feel bored here? All alone? Maybe you can come with me sometimes, you just have to look like a different person" you said to him as you packed your bag for the work.

"I don't know, I mean i really want to but I'm afraid the tesseract would make it easier for them to find me wherever I go" you looked at him confused as he told you that.

"How? I mean, isn't it hidden in your vault?"

"It is but ..I will explain someday whenever you are free"

"Okay.. anytime I'm home..you can talk to me you know that right? I don't have to be the one to talk all the time" He smiled as you said that

"You do not talk enough, if you have been told otherwise before, it's simply just untrue" he mumbled sincerely so you walked towards him and kissed his forehead. The way he just knew whenever your words were hiding your insecurities was impeccable.

"You're becoming my best friend, you know that right? Am I yours? And Do you have other best friends because they have a competition now" he chuckled as you said that.

"I do not have many people I can even consider as my acquaintances, let alone by my friend"

"That's a shame because you're one of the best things to exist"

"You are so cute" he mimicked your accent so you kissed his forehead one more time and then you finally managed to get out of the apartment. You really wished you didn't have to work.

You were locking the door from outside when you heard Mrs Geller's voice. That can't be good? Did she want to be a spy or something?

"Y/n i haven't seen you in so long" You turned around to look at her and smiled,

"Hello Mrs Geller, actually you did, we met on my birthday remember, i brought the cake for you?" You reminded her so she placed her hand on her head.

"Ohh yess yess silly old me, so how's that boyfriend of yours? your mother told me he was very handsome" she asked excitedly

"Uhhhh actually we broke up" you pretended to look sad so she stepped towards you and hugged you.

"Awnn hhoney I'm so sorry..are you seeing someone new now because I heard voices last night" Your heart sped up as she said that, you were stuck to your door when all that kissing happened.

"Ahhhh yess ummm..it's the guy from the gym. Chase yeahh" you mumbled nervously so she smiled.

"Well I hope he's the good one and the one for you" you nodded and excused yourself as you really had to be at work on time. Okay No more press me against the door while we are kissing for the two of you.

Your day went by normally, there was this unwanted tension between you and Chase, you knew he was talking shit about you to everyone so you glared at him everytime your eyes met with him. Serves you right for going on a date with a coworker.

The only thing getting you through the day was knowing that the sexiest guy in all of universe was cooped up in your apartment at the moment.

After your shift ended you walked out of the gym and there were a few girls clicking pictures with some guy a few feet away from you, you had seen a local celebrity or two before so it really didn't shock you, what shocked you was that he was no local celebrity but a Fucking Avenger. Holy crap.

He looked at you and started to walk towards you so you turned around and walked the other way.

"Lady, wait up" you heard his voice and it made you halt in your place unwillingly. Yup that's definitely his brother, that was Thor. You turned around to look at him as he approached you. Maybe you should have continued to walk.

"Are you talking to me?" You asked him, he was in earth people clothes but that shaggy jacket resembled something a homeless person would have worn out of compulsion.

"Yes my lady" he smiled

"Wait you're Thor right?" You pretended to be surprised and he smiled again, this time you could count all the teeths he had in his mouth.

"I had hoped the disguise would camouflage me and make me look like a proper midgardian" he chuckled as he fixed his jacket.

"Yeahh only if all the midgardians loved to dress up like a hooligan ..why did you ummm what do you want from me?" You tried to keep your tone as polite as you could, you knew this was something to do with Loki because there was no way an Avenger had just seen you on the road and wanted to talk to you for no reason. Things like that didn't just happen to you out of nowhere.

"I am assuming you may have a clue what all of this is about" you crossed your arms as he said that.

"What? I don't know what you're talking about" Maybe instead of canoodling and kissing you should have learned the art of lie from the god of lies and mischief.

"Pardon me lady uhhh-"

"Y/n"

"Lady y/n, my brother Loki is a very dangerous man, I do not know what he has been telling you but half of those things are just lies"

"I think you're confusing me for somebody else, who is Loki?" The whole nation knew who Loki was at this point, you duffer.

"All I want to say is, I have known about this for a while now but I just can not figure out why he's hiding and what he's planning on doing next" you gulped as he said that.

"Again i literally have no idea what you're talking about, so if you don't mind please excuse me, i have to go home" And then you should probably die. You turned around to leave but he spoke again,

"You should have informed us, you do not know my brother as well as you think you do, how many days has it been? Mere few weeks? I have known him all my life, he's not someone you can trust" You didn't respond but kept walking away from him but you jumped on your spot as he whirled around his hammer to fly away, he scared you a little, well he scared you alot, if he knew already why didn't the Avengers come for him?

You were worried about Loki now, what if you go home and he's not there? You didn't want them to take him away and hurt him the way they had done before, granted he started a fucking war but still, he didn't do it because he wanted to hurt people, he did it because he had no choice.

"Okay I have some very bad news to share" you mumbled as you locked the apartment door from the inside, as if that would stop the god of thunder from breaking in if he was determined to do that.

"Did you see Thor?" He asked you so you looked at him shocked.

"How did you know? Wait let me just move away from the door" you mumbled. You feared the spy.

"I heard the thundering" Well he wasn't freaking out for some reason

"And that is not worrying you because?"

"Because I had a hunch that he must have known" he mumbled. He seemed too calm for some reason.

"How?" You sat on the couch next to him so he put his book down and smiled

"Can I kiss you first?" You gave him a little smile so he leaned in and grabbed your chin with his fingers before he kissed you, you thought it would be a touch and go sort of kiss but nope he almost sucked your soul into him in the very best way. You were breathless and you almost didn't remember anything about Thor for a few moments.

"Ohh wow God you're a good kisser"

"So are you princess " your face flushed at the remark, he was holding your chin with his fingers so he pulled you closer and kissed your forehead. Damn if you didn't love them forehead kisses more than anything.

"Ummm we need to talk about this Thor situation, also I saw his hammer, the big hammer everyone talks about" Gee he indeed hoped you meant mjolnir and not the other hammer.

"Mjolnir?"

"yeah that...mobonil..umm I'm freaking out here, how did you know that he knew?"

"Heimdall, must have informed him"

"Sorry ummm Who is Handle?"

He chuckled as you said that

"Heimdall, the protector of bifrost, but I deem him the loyal snitch of Asgard" He seemed so proud of himself for that remark.

"Okay that's the guy you froze right because he went against you?"

"Yes And i enjoyed it tremendously" you cupped his cheeks as he said that.

"You're so cute" you pecked his lips and he smiled "Wait so he knew you were here?"

"He can see everything, everywhere, all at once" you nodded as he said that. That would make a good movie title.

"That must be exhaustive, I'm so confused if they know already then why the Avengers aren't here yet?"

"Well I'm assuming my oaf brother hasn't revealed this information to his band of heroes just yet"

"Why would he do that? Am I asking too many questions?"

"No. You're perfect my darling " he pecked your lips again before he answered you "Perhaps he is attempting to figure out what am I planning further, it must wound him, me not causing mischief around the globe"

"Or maybe he misses you" you mumbled as you got up and he shook his head, you were in a dire need of a shower, you were sweating profusely on the way back home because of the meeting with Thor but talking to Loki had put your heart at ease a little bit.

However now Loki was stressed out of his mind. Why did Thor keep this to himself? What was he doing?

"What did he tell you? May i know?" He questioned you when you came out of the bathroom.

"Ummmm he said that i shouldn't have believed anything you had told me and that you are a liar and a very dangerous man" a frown appeared on his face as you said that so you walked towards the couch and sat down on his lap.

"He is not wrong, i have participated in multitude of transgressions

"Yeah? You're a dangerous man..very very dangerous?" Your pitch got high and it curved the corner of his mouth into a small smile.

"I can be"

"I know..you're too powerful "

"That I am"

"But I also know that you could have hurt me the day you met me and you could have manipulated me–"

"How do you know I have not done just that, maybe all of this just an act to fool you" well you never even thought about that even though it could have been a possibility.

"It's not"

"How are you so sure?"

"I am not, i have been lied to and been hurt before and surely have been fooled more than twice so shame on me" you chuckled, making his brows scrunch in that adorable manner "But I'm choosing to believe you because I like to believe that these past two months has been as nice for you as it has been for me and that you love being my friend and my…best friend and–" his eyes teared up so you kissed his forehead. You were about to get up from his lap but he grabbed onto your hips, making you nervous all of a sudden, the ball kept rolling back and forth.

"I would never want to be someone who makes you feel like that darling but I am not like you, you're perfect, in every way and i am full of flaws, i have done reckless things that I regret now, i have hurt people who may or may not have cared about me, I am not the person you believe me to be" his voice sounded so small and it made your heart render for him.

"And that's okay, nobody is perfect, I am not either but the way you are choosing to ignore all my flaws or maybe choosing to accept me with those flaws because you care about me is exactly how I feel too, I care about you lo, and I want you to know that what you have done before isn't going to change that for me" he placed his head down on on your chest and hugged you tightly, your fingers caressed his scalp in a gentle manner and that's all he needed in the moment.

He has never had anyone put so much of their belief in him, you trusted him to not hurt you but he was Loki, he fucked up even when he didn't want to, he got punished even when he made no mistakes, he just knew someday he'd do something that would make you run away from him. He hadn't even showed you his real self just yet, that hideous monster was not someone you'd ever want to hold and cuddle.

"What would you like for dinner lo?" You asked him softly so pulled away to look at you

"Whatever you feed me would be generous" you smiled as he said that.

"Soooo cuteee"

There it was, the intense need to coddle him and then it hit you, he had become the man you have been looking for all your life, the only problem was you couldn't tell anyone about him, you couldn't share how gorgeous your boyfriend was because nobody can know about him.

After dinner, he wanted to take a shower so you laid down on the bed and waited for him. You felt extremely anxious, if his brother knew then there was a possibility they'd come get him anytime they wanted, the thought scared you, they'd probably take him back to NYC, Or worse Asgard. There is no way you'd be able to handle another long distance relationship, especially not an interplanetary relationship. Did you two even have a relationship?

You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn't even feel him getting into the bed, he was right on top of you, the cold water dripping from his hair made you shiver as they hit your bare skin. Also, he didn't have a shirt on. He did not have a shirt on.

"Hiiii" you giggled nervously so he leaned down to kiss you

"Is this fine? I can put a shirt on if you'd want me to" you bit on your lower lips as he said that.

"It's fine lo" you mumbled as your fingers brushed over his chest, he wasn't a hairy guy in general, maybe it was the frost giant genes because his brother seemed hairy but Loki did have soft little curls of hair on his chest, they were as soft as the hair on his head "Have you ever been told how pretty you are?" he gulped as you said that. He has been called handsome before but never pretty.

"Not after I matured, no" you brushed hair behind his shoulders and you could feel him shivering with the touch.

"Would you mind if I call you pretty?"

"Why would I mind?"

"Well guys..some men don't like that.. "

He smiled as you said that and leaned down to kiss you,

"You can call me anything you want"

"Really?"

"Mmmhhmmm"

"Why??" Because he desperately wanted to be beneath you while you'd call him pretty and kiss his forehead.

"Because I cherish it whenever you're being this way with me" you smiled as he said that.

"Well I cherish you and you're the prettiest man I have ever known" the charm he was using to keep his cock from having an erection was exhausting him, he didn't want to make you uncomfortable, you wanted things slow and he wanted to learn more about you before he takes that step with you, besides his life was so unpredictable these days, having sex with you didn't seem like the brightest idea but it has been so long and every time you touched him or praised him it made him want to hump himself against you.

"Thank you, so are you princess. Well not the prettiest man but the opposite of it, well not the opposite of pretty.. opposite of men" you giggled as he rambled, you just made the silvertongue ramble so you were pretty proud of yourself. He laid down next to you so you turned towards him, his body was so cold but you were getting used to the feeling.

You truly wished that the night had gone by smoothly with him snuggling in your arms but the sound of loud thundering awakened you both and it wasn't supposed to rain today so you knew what you feared was about to happen. His brother was there to take him away.

Difficult times

The day was supposed to be good. Y/n was going to just 'exist' through all the lessons and then enjoy a date with her boyfriend, Remus. But apparently, the date was canceled.

"I do not always have to be right!" Y/n disclaimed, when Remus accused her of not being able to take being wrong.

It all started with just a discussion about homework. Y/n made a mistake, but she was certain about being right. After all, Remus turned out to be right, but Y/n's pride didn't let her accept it.

"I'm not saying that," Remus argued, "I'm just stating you're pathologically incapable of being wrong."

Being a Black meant that you're a drama queen with anger issues. And this comment angered Y/n so much. Everyone would say she was exaggerating, probably even she knew that, but it wasn't Y/n-like to admit it.

"Well, if that's true, why don't you break up with me?" The girl crossed her arms.

A moment of silence fell between the couple. Y/n was looking straight into her soon-to-be-ex boyfriend's eyes.

"You know what? We should take a break. I love you, but I can't be with you if you don't stop acting like...this."

Y/n smirked, thinking Remus is joking, but after a second she understood he was serious.

"So that's it? This is the end?" The girl asked, not believing or not wanting to believe what has just happened. "We're breaking up over a stupid homework?"

"No. We're breaking up, because being with you is draining. I'm sorry, Y/n, I really am."

"Fine. Go back to my blood traitor of a cousin and his idiot friends." And there she pulled out the pureblood supremacy card. She could swear she wasn't like her family, she had nothing against muggleborns nor half-bloods. If she did, she wouldn't date Remus, not only he was a half-blood but also a werewolf. But when Y/n was angry, she felt as if someone else was taking control of her and she was just watching everything from a third person view.

Days went by and Y/n and Remus didn't seem to be getting back together. Sirius, James and Peter hated Y/n, Remus told them that 'it's all good', but it didn't do much.

One evening Y/n was hanging out with Regulus at the Clock Tower Courtyard. They were playing wizard's chess, but Sirius' sudden arrival interrupted them.

"What're you doing here and where have you lost your goons?" Y/n asked mockingly as Regulus sent Sirius a cold stare.

"I knew you could be a bitch, it runs in the family," Sirius stated, "but I'll never forgive you for hurting Moony."

"I'm not asking for forgiveness. Could you go now, or do I need to hex you?"

After that evening, a little war started between the Marauders and Y/n. Remus tried to stop it or at least calm it down, but the boys didn't want to stop and Y/n didn't even want to talk to Remus.

At some point, Y/n got a boyfriend just to play with Remus' feelings. She was spiteful and wanted him to regret breaking up with her.

Y/n's new boyfriend was Evan Rosier, Regulus' best friend and one of Death Eater wannabes. As soon as other students found out about their relationship, the gossips didn't have an end. Everyone was very much convinced Y/n went dark and was going to eventually get the dark mark. Damn, some people said that she had already got it. Y/n didn't want to neither confirm nor decline any of rumors.

The Marauders often caught Remus looking at Y/n in the Great Hall. They tried to distract him every time, but it was a difficult job. Poor boy just couldn't believe it. Y/n was so sweet, so pure, he loved her. And when they broke up, she turned into a different person. Not only personality-wise but also her appearance was changed. Her y/e/c eyes were once bright, Remus could stare into them for hours. Now, they looked darker and tired, as if they were asking for help.

'Is Evan treating her right?' was a question Moony often asked himself and a question he hoped the answer for would be "yes" and Y/n's tired eyes were an outcome of late night studying. Remus didn't want bad things to happen to Y/n, even if she didn't love him anymore or ever at all.

Months later, Y/n and Remus still weren't even talking. After they graduated from Hogwarts, they went different ways and lost any contact with each other at all.

Everyone's lives were in ruins. Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters were attacking a lot. They wanted to control everything and they would do anything to succeed.

1979 was especially difficult for Y/n. She had nobody. Evan left her. Her parents disowned her once she told them she didn't want to have anything to do with their blood purity views. Regulus went on a mission to destroy a horcrux of Voldemort and died. Y/n spent months crying and she had no one to help her. Voldemort found out she's against him and it was obvious he will kill her. One of her sisters would gladly do it, another one wouldn't stop the first one. The third sister got disowned as well as Y/n, but the girl didn't want to ask Andromeda for help. She had a daughter, Nymphadora, it would be so irresponsible to put the family in danger.

So there she was, by herself, all alone, in a tiny apartment in some area of London. Each day Y/n regretted not apologizing to Remus. Things would be so different, maybe they could even save Regulus with the help of James' parents, like they did with Sirius. Why did Y/n have to be so full of herself? If she just tried to change, she could have a much better life. Anything would be better than hiding in some dark, moldy flat like a damn criminal.

There wasn't a day when Remus didn't think about Y/n. Where was she? What was she doing? Was she safe? Did she need help? Did she work for Voldemort? He would pay millions of galleons to just know an answer to one of these questions and any amount of money to have her around. To have her here, in a flat he shared with Sirius.

She would be safe there, Remus would protect her. He wished he could protect her from every possible danger. After all these years, he still missed her. Maybe he just had an idealized image of Y/n stuck in his head, but he was so in love with her still.

Remus was happy with his friends around, but there was an empty place in his heart that Y/n would perfectly fit in. Sirius tried to make him start going on dates, but Remus refused. He considered Y/n his first and only love, Sirius couldn't understand it no matter how hard he tried.

"Hey, could you open the door?" Sirius asked, hearing banging on the door. "It's probably James and Lily."

The newlyweds were supposed to visit Remus and Sirius. Sirius recently found out how much fun it is to cook without using magic and wanted to show off his skills on a dinner.

Remus quickly got up from the sofa in the living room and walked to the door. What, or rather who, he saw when he opened the door, shocked him.

Y/n was standing in the doorway. Her left hand on her stomach, blood on her hoodie and both hands. Her hair was a mess and her face was dirty.

Y/n didn't think she'll see her ex boyfriend that she still had feelings for. She was told to apparate here. Y/n had a mix of many feelings inside her, but had to ignore them for now.

"Are you going to let me in?" She asked harshly.

"Yes, yes." Remus quickly replied and helped the girl walk inside and lay down on the sofa.

She looked tragically, Remus wasn't sure what to do. He pulled up Y/n's hoodie enough to look at the bleeding wound. It wasn't very deep, but it was big and looked, well, serious.

"Sirius, come here!" Remus shouted.

"Hey, the stag family is- what the hell is Y/n doing here?" Sirius asked pretentiously, before he noticed Y/n's injury. When he did, he changed the tone of his voice. "What happened?"

"I'll tell you later! Could someone please stop me from bleeding?" Y/n bellowed.

"Don't you have your wand?"

As a reply, Y/n pulled it out. Well, a half of it. The girl didn't know if she should look for a way to fix it or just go buy a new one, but it wasn't the most important thing right now.

Once Y/n's wound had been taken care of, she sat in the kitchen with the rest, telling them the whole story. Remus had much knowledge about treating injuries, thanks to being a werewolf.

James and Lily were surprised to see Y/n, James even thought she might be sent there on a Death Eater mission.

"I was trying to finish the business Regulus started." Y/n explained, her hands on the table as she fiddled with her fingers.

"Wait, what business?" Sirius asked curiously.

"He found out the Dark Lord made horcruxes, it's an object of your choice that holds a part of your soul, so you can be immortal. To make one, you have to kill someone. We have no idea how many the Dark Lord made, but Regulus found one."

"But my brother is dead. And I've always thought he supported Vold-" He didn't get to finish the sentence, as Y/n stopped him.

"Don't say that name, it has some hex put on it. It locates everyone who says his name."

"Okay, then can you tell us how Regulus died?"

Tears appeared in Y/n's eyes. It's been a few months since he died, the pain of loss was still in Y/n. She was still grieving.

She went through the denial phase, when Kreacher told her everything that happened in the cave. Then anger came, Y/n felt so helpless, so frustrated, she hated herself for not going with Regulus to the damn cave. Then barging, because what if she did go with him? He would be safe and alive. What if she went instead of him? What if she did something so that nobody had to go? They could run away, but then there would be nobody to destroy the horcruxes. Currently, Y/n in the stage of depression, where she barely slept or ate, spending a lot time crying. She's never felt more lonly. The next stage to come was acceptance, but Y/n didn't think she could ever accept Regulus' death. He was like a younger brother to her.

"One of the horcruxes is a locket of Salazar Slytherin, it was hidden in a cave. Reg went there to get it, he was with Kreacher the house elf. When inferi attacked him, he ordered Kreacher to come to me. With the information that Reg wasn't coming home."

Tears were rolling down Y/n's face, which wasn't dirty anymore. After taking care of the wound, Remus helped the girl clean up. He also gave her clean clothes.

"Is the locket still in the cave?" Lily asked, since Sirius was quiet.

Sirius understood his brother was on the good side. Regulus wanted to fight Voldemort, he died trying to kill Voldemort. Regulus died a hero. Sirius would never forgive himself for all the years he spent hating Regulus, insulting him. Regulus did more than Sirius, Remus, James, Peter and Lily and probably the rest of the Order together.

"No, it's not." Y/n reached to her bra, to take the Slytherin's locket out of it. She put it on the table, everyone's eyes were on it. "I tried to destroy it, I went to the woods. Nothing works for it, I tried every spell possible. I even tried hitting it with rocks!"

"But why did you get injured?" Remus asked. He looked at Y/n to see her eyes were also looking at him.

"I said the Dark Lord's name. That's how they found me. Do you know who came to kill me? My very own sister, Bellatrix."

"Your sister wanted to kill you?"

Remus was surprised. He knew from Sirius' stories that Bellatrix was crazy, but he didn't think she would try to kill her own sister. Well, turns out Bella was ready to do anything to get Voldemort's attention.

"Pretty much. She made me fall over, my wand snapped, I was defenceless. She used some spell that gave me the wound on my stomach, then she tortured me with cruciatus. I was lucky though, because McKinnon found us. I was told to apparate to this address while she fought Bellatrix."

Everyone sat in silence thinking about Y/n's story. That was much shock for one day. Lily and James came to eat dinner with Sirius and Remus, but ended up finding very important information. The most shocking thing was that Regulus was actually a good person and he would live if anyone helped him get out of the Voldemort business.

"So, my brother didn't support Vol- You-know-who?" Sirius asked in a whisper.

"No, but do you know who does?" As Y/n said it, all eyes were on her. "Pettigrew. He was on their little meetings, he has the dark mark and all that."

Lily stood up from the table.

"James, let's go, we have to tell someone about it."

Both James and Sirius got up.

"I hate him. I'm going to kill him. This fucking traitor." Sirius cursed and stormed out of the room.

"No, Padfoot," James tried to stop him, "he has to go to prison."

But words were pointless, Sirius didn't stop, he was full of anger. And hatred towards Peter.

Lily and James ran out of the house after Sirius, leaving Y/n alone with Remus.

"I can't believe that." Remus gulped. "He had been a literal rat all this time."

"I'm so sorry." Y/n looked at Remus. She was still so much in love with him.

Everything in her wanted to kiss him, but she didn't know if he still even likes her. What if he found someone else? He didn't seem to be married, but he could have a girlfriend. Or a boyfriend.

"No, I'm sorry. Everyone thought you and Regulus were working for...You-know-who."

"That's not surprising." Y/n chuckled. "At some point we were, I just haven't got my dark mark yet. We had to be close to him to be able to destroy him. Didn't go very well. But I still have a chance."

"We'll help you, the whole Order will help. Do you realize how much important information you gave us?"

"Thank you." The girl smiled, but soon the smile was replaced by a sudden yawn.

"Oh, you should probably have a nap. The bed in my room is pretty comfortable, if you'd..."

"Thanks, the sofa will be enough. I don't want to be a problem."

Y/n took a nap on the sofa in the living room under the softest and warmest blanket ever. Remus smiled, as he tucked her in. He wasn't in love with an idealized image of Y/n. He was in love with the Y/n in front of him. After hearing what she had been through, he felt like he loved her even more.

Lily, James and Sirius were back by the late evening. It was completely dark outside. The sound of the door being opened woke Y/n up. She felt much better after the nap.

"We told the Order everything," Lily announced, "Dumbledore wants to talk to you, when you feel ready."

"Okay, thank you. What's up with McKinnon? Is she okay? I'd never forgive myself if something happened to her." Y/n asked, hint of worry in her voice.

"Yes, Marlene is all good. She helped capture Bellatrix."

Y/n smiled. Sirius walked up to her and put and hand on her shoulder.

"Thank you for...well, everything. Thank you for helping Reg all this time and-"

"You're welcome." Y/n stopped her cousin from finishing the sentence. She didn't need to cry once again.

Remus looked at the three of his friends. He wanted them to leave the room, so he could talk to Y/n privately. They understood and left the living room.

Y/n was sitting on the sofa, still wrapped in the blanket. Remus sat next to her and assuringly took her hand in his. He was glad she was there.

"So um..." the girl started, "do you live with Sirius alone or does someone else live here? Like, I don't know, maybe someone you're, you're, romantically interested in or..."

Remus chuckled at Y/n's not so secret way of asking if he's single. She was so adorable when nervous.

"Yes, there's this girl I really like. She doesn't live here, but I hope she'll move in soon." Remus announced with a smile on his face.

Y/n's face saddened. She expected Remus to get in a new relationship, she acted like a bitch to him a few years ago, but it was still kind of upsetting.

"Oh, really?" Y/n asked.

"Yes," Remus beamed, "she's very intelligent and very beautiful. And she's sitting on this sofa right now."

Y/n understood Remus was talking about her. A slight smile immediately appeared on her face. Without a word, she kissed him. He kissed her back without hesitation. Sure, their lives were in ruins because of the war, but now that they had each other, sun was shining bright above these ruins.

They knew future will be better. They felt it. They would kill Voldemort, make the world a safe place for them, their friends and their families. Deep down they knew everything that happened was fate and someday they were going to be happy. Together.
