The one in which you and Touya were childhood best friends turned sweethearts, and your reaction to Dabi.
warnings - heavy angst, grief, and manga spoilers
Touya Todoroki had been your everything. He was your first friend, your first crush, and your first kiss. You were his number one supporter, always cheering him on, even after his family gave up on him becoming a pro hero. You were there when Shouto was born, and you were there to comfort Touya after he tried to kill him. You would apply burn cream and ice after every burn and bring bento boxes full of food to Sekoto Peak after he had been training for hours. You were there for every up and down, waiting to help him get back onto his feet and keep training harder and harder.
And at the end of it all, you were the last one to see him alive.
You refused his invitation to the top of the mountain that day- “Finals are coming up Touya and I need to study. You should be studying too”. He had tried to get you to come anyway, but you put your foot down. You two got into a heated argument over it, ending with you both stomping away in different directions.
You had seen the raging wildfire from your window and were instantly overcome with grief. You tried to go to the forest, calling out for your best friend, but you were stopped by Endeavor- his father- of all people. Once you informed him that his oldest son was inside the burning inferno, you were left alone.
A part of your soul died with Touya Todoroki that day, but life goes on. You adopted the Todoroki’s habit of not acknowledging trauma and carried on with your life like nothing had happened- at least on the surface.
It was difficult, you had your bad days, but you also had your good ones. On the especially hard days, you tried to remember the happy memories you had of him and reminded yourself that he wouldn’t want you to waste the day by being sad. ‘Touya would want me to move on and be happy’, you would remind yourself.
After ten years, you were better. You had managed to overcome your grief and move on with your life, but all your hard work had come crumbling down when you saw Dabi’s broadcast.
My name is Touya Todoroki, the oldest son of the number one pro hero.”
Your entire world had halted on its axis as soon as the words left his mouth. You just stared at the broadcast, your frantic heartbeats the only sound you could hear aside from the confession that kept replaying like a mantra inside your head.
For the next couple of months, you didn’t outwardly acknowledge that your best friend- your first love- was a villain. That the friendly and hard-working adolescent that you knew was a serial killer.
You were amongst the evacuees when you saw the broadcast of the fight from a TV inside an abandoned store window. You dropped your backpack that contained everything that you could quickly grab from your apartment to the payment in shock as your brain tried to process what you were witnessing.
Touya- Dabi- and Endeavor battling it out in the middle of the city, and then Touya being engulfed in an inferno.
“Mom!” A familiar female voice called out from somewhere behind you. You turned in time to watch Rei Todoroki race towards the growing fireball, with Fuyumi and Natsuo following close on her heels. You did not hesitate to follow suit.
“Touya!” You heard the Todoroki’s yelling as they reached the impending explosion. You watched in awe as they activated their Frost Quirks, trying to cool their oldest son and brother down.
“Touya!” You yelled as you reached the wall of heat. Your clothes started to singe as you got closer.
“Y/N!” Fuyumi called out to you when she saw you. “What are you doing?! Get away!”
“No! Not before we stop Touya!”
“Y/N are you insane?” Natsuo swore.
“Y/N, get away!” Rei said to you as you continued to approach. “Your body cannot handle the heat!”
“And yours can?” You retorted. “Touya!”
“Touya! Big bro snap out of it!”
“Touya, stop!”
“Touya!” You screamed out before strong arms pulled you through the swelting wall of flames. You yelped as the flames licked at your skin. You managed to see the familiar face of Dabi through the smoke. You called out to him, “Touya! Stop, you are hurting me.”
“It’s Dabi now, sweetheart.” He said in a low voice as he wrapped his arms around you. You could practically feel the hatred dripping from his tongue. “What? Y/N, did you think I would stop my rampage about I saw you again, like some lovesick puppy?” He chuckled as he brought himself impossibly closer to you. You didn’t know if the scent of burning flesh was coming from you or him. “The Touya that you knew died ten years ago on Sekoto Peak. Again, it’s Dabi now, and Dabi doesn’t know you.” He whispered into your ear before lighting his entire body on fire.

When Bakugo steps in to help Izuku out of a situation, neither of them imagine they’d be accidentally thrown into a relationship. Now they have to keep up their facade. The question is; Can they?
AO3
A Fake Dating, University, no quirks AU
CW!: Some creep mildly harasses Izuku in this chapter
Chapter One
“Are you coming to Denki’s place on Friday?” Ochako said out of nowhere.
They were in the university library where Izuku was up to his ears in books. He had an essay due next week. In his mind, he had to know everything about his chosen subject matter by later tonight. Locking himself in his room, the only contact being his housemates coming in to leave food and water on his desk silently whilst he worked. Making sure he didn’t neglect his bodily functions in favour of working. If they put food in his vicinity he would eventually eat it because it was there for him to see. He was forever grateful that his friends kept him alive.
So here he was, four books laid open before him and a few piles next to him as he ferociously wrote in his notebook for this class.
Izuku looked up at Ochako who was typing on her phone as she looked at him expectantly.
“Huh? What’s happening on Friday?” He honestly had no idea what was happening or whether it had been brought up to him before now. He had an overwhelming feeling that he probably should know what was going on by the look on her face which screamed ‘Seriously?’.
“You’re literally in the group chat.” She waved her phone in front of his face so that he could read what was on it.
The title read, “Sick ass party ppl” with a bunch of emojis. It looked like there were a lot of members in the group. The memory of being added to the group chat came to him in a flash. The memory of when he muted it because he was overwhelmed by the vast amount of messages and notifications he was getting also came to mind. ‘Ah’. He’d wiped it from his memory whilst he had been prepping for his essay. The reading he was doing right now was overkill but it wouldn’t hurt, right?
Right?!
Anyway, the party had completely been wiped from his brain until just this second. He really had to do this essay. He planned to have it done by at least Thursday, which was a few days away now. The 3 weeks of reading he put on himself to plan his essays around would surely help. He’d have it done by Friday that’s for sure.
He had been mumbling under his breath as he weighed up his options. Typical of him but his friends didn’t mind but it left all of his thoughts out in the open. Ochako was looking at him with a polite smile waiting for him to respond to her question. She knew that he preferred people not mentioning his muttering and pretending he just didn’t do it at all. He was grateful that all of his friends understood this so he didn't have to be embarrassed.
“I’ll be there!” He finally responded by handing her phone back to her.
“Great! We can all go together!” She says enthusiastically with a bigger smile than before, going back to texting on her phone. He assumed she was making his coming known to the group chat to confirm with their hosts. “Iida said he wanted to sit this one out but that he’d join the next game night we have over there. Shouto is coming with us though!” She says as she types.
He nods, going back to writing his notes in silence as she keeps him quiet company for the time being.
The next two days consisted of him being locked at his desk, eyes glued to his computer as he typed. There were moments he had to be ripped away to use the bathroom, anything else he needed his housemates brought to him, careful not to disturb him as they left plates of food on the empty part of his desk that didn't have any notes or paper on it. They also filled up his water bottle for him to ensure he was hydrated. Later they came in to take the empty plates out for him.
He was done.
Every time he finished an essay or project he had this weight lifted off of his shoulders. Like he could finally breathe after weeks of stress, now he had a couple of days to kill before the next one he had to worry about. Thank God. Not that he was religious.
He stretched out in his chair immediately smelling the stench radiating off of him. Gross... he stretched out after being a hermit for two days during which he stayed in the same clothes and didn’t shower or put on deodorant. He breathed in deeply.
K.O’d.
The smell hit him like a tonne of bricks and he fell backwards on his chair. He always had a flair for dramatics. Accepting his fate, he let himself hit the ground with a loud thud.
Well, this is where he will live from now on. This was his place in the world. Who was he to argue with the great beyond?
His door flew open suddenly, Iida, Shouto and Ochako breathing heavily as they barged in, basically falling themselves. He simply looked up with a smile.
“Hey guys!”
“Don’t fucking ‘hey guys’ us we thought you died or passed out or- what the fuck Izuku!” Ochako yelled frantically.
Iida looked at her shocked, flailing his hand in front of him.
“Ochako please refrain from using such language!”
“It’s 3 am right now and we heard a huge bang come from your room. We thought you passed out from exhaustion,” Shouto added to Ochako’s outburst.
Now that Izuku looked them over they were all in their sleepwear. Oops.
“Ah- So sorry guys! I just finished my essay and I leant back on my chair too far. Well, you can guess the rest.” He explained, “Wait, did you say 3 am? What day is it?”
“Thursday, don’t worry you have plenty of time to catch up on sleep and shower before tomorrow.” Ochako says, “Get up off the floor and go do your thing. We’re very proud of you for finishing your essay but it is 3 am, Jesus Christ I am pooped.” She says with a yawn, she waves at him and retreats out of the room.
“Goodnight Izuku!” Iida says with a nod of his head, “Very well done for finishing your essay. You worked really hard for this one!” He smiles with a thumbs up.
“Well done Midoriya,” Shouto says with a small smile as he leaves with Iida leaving Izuku alone in his room, who decided to sleep.
Friday came quickly, having slept through all of Thursday through Friday morning. When he decided to finally shower and partake in some self-care, like changing into clean clothes and making himself something to eat.
So here he was chowing down on his cereal.
“He lives!” A voice from the kitchen doorway says. Izuku turns his head to see which of his friends are here to bless his day with their presence. Ochako!
“Hey! Yeah- finally up, moving and ready for the day!” He laughs as she comes in to sit in her spot on the counter. She sat here whenever Izuku, Iida or Shouto were in here so she could talk to them without being in the way.
“That's good! Are you prepared to get your party on later?” She asks moving her shoulders up and down, a move many probably would call dancing. It makes him let out a light chuckle, nodding in response.
“Of course! Denki always makes sure we all have fun and we haven't seen them in a while so I'm looking forward to it!”
Ochako nods in agreement, “Have you got an outfit picked out yet?”
“Not yet I was gonna pick something later.”
“Oh no no, we're going up there right now because if I leave it up to you you're going to just do it last minute.” She says jumping off of the counter. “Come on!”
Finding clothes and putting them on should not take more than thirty minutes.
Yet, here they were. Two hours deep into a search on what he should wear. TWO HOURS. It turned into Shouto sitting in his desk chair giving his opinions too whilst Ochako went from sitting on the end of his bed to rummaging through his clothes to asking Shouto if she could raid his closet too. He declined and she respected his privacy whilst invading Izuku's personal space whilst she tugged and ruffled things on his person. Izuku hated thinking too hard about things like clothes when he thought too much about everything all of the time. His essays, his interactions, his friendships, his family. The list goes on and on and on. It was annoying but the last thing on his mind was what he was wearing. Sure he liked dressing nice for events but this seemed too excessive even for him.
God he hated his life.
“Do you really need to be touching my hair so much?”
“If we want to see what vibe we’re going for when I style your hair later! This is an important part of the process Izuku!” She says simply as she did something else to his hair. It was a little hard to make his ruffles look neat but pretty easy to make it look intentionally messy. According to Ochako that was. Apparently, intentionally messy and unintentionally mess was a thing but that just kind of went over his head as his friend worked around him while she went on her spiel about hairstyles and clothes and something about how it was always a nice finishing touch to an outfit to style your hair as it brings the ‘outfit together’. Whatever that means.
This was going to be another long couple of hours.
Surprisingly they got to Denki's house on time despite the FIVE hours that it took for Ochako to decide what to dress Izuku in. He felt like a pampered show dog. In the end she did a pretty good job. His mullet was styled into loose curls that were made to look intentionally messy. Again he didn't know what that meant but alas she and Shouto said he looked good. Still he thought it was a bit much for it to have taken five hours to decide on it.
The outfit that had been decided was a pair of his ripped, light blue skinny jeans, he had nice legs so Ochako said he should show them off with tightly fitted jeans. She raided Iida's closet in the end for his shirt. Which ended up landing on a loose fitting vest that had larger holes for his arms, so from the side people could see his torso. He was told he'd be irresistible when people saw him in the chosen outfit which he supposed was nice. He really just wanted to hang out with friends but Ochako is someone who enjoys romance and matching all of her friends up.
It was not the first time that she had tried to set him up with someone. She meant well and was just trying to be a good friend to him, and help him find happiness. He did think that she went over the top sometimes.
Izuku figured that she was just bored, perhaps finished her TV shows and wanted something exciting. Like setting her friends up as a wing-woman. She did understand boundaries after some mishaps of overstepping but she was a lot better these days.
When they got to Denki’s house they were met with people outside drinking various things, some were dancing to the music blasting from the house, others were just talking.
It had quite a big garden for a student house, and Izuku was the first to comment on how good of a deal Denki got on this place. It was a big detached house, that had a great Wi-Fi connection no matter the weather. Plus a front and back garden. The cherry on top was that this place cost the same amount he and his housemates were paying. He was jealous, to say the least. They got the best deal in housing and Izuku didn’t blame them for throwing a party to show it off. There was plenty of room.
As they walked into the house Izuku made a note that it seemed like they were earlier than most, considering that they could still roam around the house without a crowd of sweaty bodies stopping them in their tracks. That is typically how Denki’s parties went. That was also around the time Izuku’s buzz would be helping him not want to rip his hair out from the amount of people. Though he wasn't planning on drinking too much tonight after the last time he was here. Denki was a bad influence.
Making their way to the kitchen, bag of drinks in hand they bumped into a few familiar faces, Ochako being left behind to discuss something with her fellow classmate. Something about their most recent assignment.
As Shouto and Izuku crossed the threshold of the kitchen, they walked in on Denki and Kirishima laughing at the expense of one of their friends.
Just as Izuku was about to speak a red pair of eyes made eye contact with his stopping him in his tracks.
Bakugo Katsuki.
Someone with whom his relationship wasn't the best. From childhood friends to middle school bullies. Once in high school Izuku got to the point where he started retorting to some of the vicious words spouting from the blond's mouth. Katsuki was almost impressed. Now they were in University and ran in the same friend groups, so they were civil often with some back and forth. At least there wasn't as much tension as when they had been younger.
Still, though, that didn't mean they were ever happy to see each other.
Which they weren't.
“Deku.” He sneered.
“Kacchan,” Izuku replied with the same energy.
“You've shrunk.”
“Your heads gotten bigger.” He retorts without missing a beat.
Katsuki's eyebrow twitched, amused almost. If he was amused he didn't say anything, just took a swig of his drink he had in hand, giving a grunt that sounded kind of like ‘shitty Deku’ pushing past Izuku through the door. With not a single look back at the blond he smiled at his friends, ready to catch up with those he hadn’t seen for a while.
Izuku didn't like drinking too much, usually he just nursed his first drink most of the night, swapping it out for a non-alcoholic soft drink. That didn't stop him from enjoying himself though. He liked hanging out and dancing with his friends mostly on nights like these.
He loved dancing. The way he could just let go of any tension and move without being embarrassed because everyone else was too drunk to care.
At some point he needed to break away from his friends to use the bathroom, pushing past a lot of drunk people on his way. He also kept getting stopped by people who he'd been briefly introduced to in the past.
God he just wanted to piss. Not on Denki's floor so he had to cut all of the interactions short. Making a mental note to stop past on his way back from the bathroom to have a proper conversation. That would have to wait though, his bladder was practically screaming at him.
After getting past the thick of the crowd he was finally at the stairs and he let out the biggest sigh of relief he could manage as he jogged up them. He saw the door to the bathroom open as he came around the corner and silently thanked the gods that he got here before he pissed himself.
As he was about to shut the door behind himself he heard a thump and the door wasn't closing. Weird. He looked down and saw a foot wedged preventing him to close it. Even weirder. He opened it and saw a taller guy, oh—
It was someone from his class who he's spoken to a few times. He's made a few eyebrow raising remarks towards him in the past but nothing Izuku took note of or too seriously. They were the kind of comments slimy men said trying to flirt with women.
"Midoriya!" His voice came out loud and excited. His breath heavily smelled of alcohol.
"Ah- Uh can I help you?" He was trying to work out what he may want.
"I've been watching you allll night." Creepy but okay. "In class-" anything else that was coming out of his mouth fell on deaf ears.
'What on earth is this guys name?'
"Izukuuu, I'm trying to talk to youuu~" He stumbles closer, making Izuku step back into the bathroom on instinct.
"Sorry! You seem very nice and maybe we can talk more when you're sober?" He says with a small smile.
Izuku breathed out a small panicked laugh, holding both hands up as the creepy guy took another step forward, making Izuku step backwards, back hitting a wall behind him.
“Come on, Izuku~” He slurred, movements sloppy. “I've been so good to you. All I'm asking for is one night.” He reached out to grab Izuku's wrist.
“Who said you could put your grubby hands on him fucker?” a gruff voice demanded from behind them and in a flash a hand was grabbing the slimy wrist that was trying to grab him.
He recognised that voice. For some reason not even knowing who the voice was from gave him a lot of relief already. Probably because no matter who it was they were saving him from whatever this freak was trying to do.
“Who the fuck are you? His boyfriend?” Before Izuku knew what was happening the guy in front of him was being pulled away from him in one swift motion and all he could do was stand there in silence and watch.
“So what if I am Extra?” Izuku blinked. ‘Extra’. He blinked again. Looking up he saw the back of a spikey blonde as he got in between them both.
The creep scoffs. “You're his boyfriend?”
“Yeah and who the fuck are you?”
The next time the creep laughs it's in a way that would convey he was literally shitting his pants.
“Look buddy, I'll just be on my way. This doesn't need to go any further.”
“I asked you a fucking question. Who are you?”
“Kacchan, let him go.” Izukus's voice came out a little quieter than he would have wanted but he had his hand on the blonde's shoulder. He felt his body tense under his touch but Katzuki opened his hand and the creep wasted no time escaping the room.
There was a silence that surrounded them. It wasn't uncomfortable but it was definitely tense after the altercation.
Izuku opened his mouth to say thank you but the other interrupted as per usual.
“Did you even piss?”
Blinking slowly the smaller one just looked at the blond.
What kind of question is that? He was shaken up and that was the first question that just came to mind. He wanted to say but he didn’t.
Instead, he said;
“Huh? What-”
“You came in here to use the shitter- did you piss before fuckknuckle came in?” Eloquent as always.
“Ah- no-”
“Piss.”
Izuku just stands there staring at the back of the bathroom door after Katzuki leaves the room. Whatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuck.
What even was that?!
That didn’t feel real in the slightest. From getting harassed to Kacchan coming to his aid and now he was in his friends' bathroom having a crisis. Story of his life. What the hell was he going to say to that guy in their next lecture? Was he going to spread this around? What was he meant to tell his friends?
Great now he is pacing instead of pissing.
Kacchan was probably just.. Doing him a solid. Of course! That was absolutely the reason! Why else would he say something so absurd?
They hadn’t had a conversation one-on-one, in something stupid like 10-plus years ago when their friendship came to a drastic halt. He still wasn’t even sure why anymore. Katsuki went through a stage of bullying him to not talking to him at all and when they went to the same University, making friends with the same people their relationship was just civil, never saying more than a few retorts to each other in their hangouts.
Now… he’s stuck up for him against someone he didn’t even know.
Maybe he was thinking too much about it. It could literally just be Katsuki being nice. He knows if the roles were reversed he would have done the same and stepped in.
His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
“J-just a minute!!” he hadn’t realised how long he had been in the bathroom for. He was sure Ochako was worried about him taking so long but then again she might have seen some other friends to catch up with by now.
Finally he got chance to pee and it was the best piss of his life.
Opening the door he gave a quick apology to whoever was waiting as he walked past them.
How could he be in the bathroom that long and only just piss? That was embarrassing. They probably thought he was people having sex. He really had to figure out how to get himself to stop his brain from going at a million miles per second when anything small happened to him.
As he was turning around the corner he was stopped by someone grabbing his arm. Looking up he expected the same creep as before but he was met with crimson eyes peering down at him. Oh.
“I’m taking you home,” Katsuki says simply.
There’s a pause as Deku blinks slowly.
“I can’t just leave I have-”
“Text them.” That was a good point he could just text them... Why didn’t he think of that?
He nods as he follows Katsuki out of the house, pushing past drunk and tipsy people in the hallways. He was getting knocked around by the sheer amount of bodies that had turned up to the party. There was a moment that he was sure he was about to lose Katsuki in the crowd and as if he read his mind his wrist was grabbed by the other as they moved.
The cold air hit him as soon as they were outside the party. Honestly, it was refreshing. His wrist had been let go of as soon as they got through the door. He assumed that was because he wasn’t at risk of getting lost in the crowd.
Katsuki was already making his way to his car at a fast pace that Deku had to jog to catch up with him.
“What’s going on? How much did you have to drink? Can you even drive right now?” Izuku asks nervously as he follows along.
Katsuki just grunted, “I haven’t drunk anything idiot. Why else would I offer to take you home?” He opened the driver's side of the car pausing as he looked at Izuku who had the most baffled look on his face. “Fuckin- just get in the stupid car Deku.”
He didn’t need to be told again, there was a look in the other’s eyes that Izuku couldn’t quite pinpoint but he relented and got in the car.
Streetlights past them by as they drove down the street. The air in the car felt a lot thicker than the air outside. It almost was unbearable as they sat there in silence. They haven’t been alone since they were kids. What was he even meant to say?
Katsuki was the one who spoke first. Which was the second biggest relief of the night that he brought Izuku.
“So who was that Extra?”
Never mind. All he feels is dread. Curses.
“Ah- Uh- No one really!” He says, “ He’s just this guy on my course. I don't even know his name.”
Katsuki was staring ahead as he drove, the lights from the city lighting up his face. He almost looked ethereal from this angle. In retrospect, it could just be the dark making him look this way to Izuku but if he was being honest he knows Katsuki is attractive to basically anyone with eyes. Well, until he opened his mouth.
“Just some guy huh?” He hums, eyes still locked ahead of him. “It certainly didn’t seem that way. Does that fucker often act all handsy with you without your permission?”
“N- No! That was literally the first time Kacchan.” He didn’t look like he believed him so Izuku doubled down. “okay, he’s a little weird! But that isn’t a bad thing! I mean sure, he like spam messages me sometimes and sits a bit too close- okay it- it does sound bad.”
“Yeah, no shit Deku. If a red flag was humanised it’d be that slimy fuck. How long has this been going on for?”
“About 6 months.”
“You let it go on for six fucking months? Does round face know?”
Izuku shook his head sheepishly, “I didn’t want to worry her.”
“Fucking stupid,” Katsuki says through gritted teeth. “You're fucking stupid, Deku.”
There were a few moments where neither of them spoke.
“Thank you for stepping in. I’m sorry that you had to go that far though.”
“What?”
“With- I mean, when you said you were my… boyfriend? You didn’t have to say that but thank you it really helped.”
“Oh. That.” Katsuki grumbled.
“Hey don’t worry! I can explain to people that we’re not dating if he does tell anyone! I know that's probably the last thing you'd want-”
“Actually..” Katsuki cut him off mid-thought. There were a few beats of silence, it seemed he was heavily debating on his next words but he continued anyway. “What happens if it gets back to shit for brains that you aren’t taken? What would stop him from pulling another stunt like he did tonight in the future?”
Oh.
That was a good question. Izuku would hope it wouldn’t come to that but he was almost in a lot of trouble in that bathroom tonight.
“I have a family event soon. The hag wants me to bring a partner to introduce to everyone. This..” Izuku wasn’t sure where this train of thought was going but Katsuki looked almost worried about saying any of the words that were threatening to spill out of his mouth. That really wasn’t like Kasuki, he was always the first to say exactly what was on his mind and not care about taking any consequences. “.. listen, we don’t fucking like each other, to be frank. I think you’re a useless nerd and your voice grinds my fucking ears off.” He says as a matter of fact. “However, I did you a favour, saying I was your boyfriend to get that slimy fucker off your back.”
“You want me to come to your family event as your boyfriend to get Auntie off your back?”
“The hag fucking likes you or some shit. I don’t know. Forget it. It’s fucking stupid.”
There were another few moments of silence, Izuku could tell Katsuki was getting a bit antsy. He always got a little fidgety when he was unsure or nervous, not that it happened often but he remembered what Katsuki was like when they were kids just before he feigned confidence in an activity. He remembers the distinct way the blond picked at his hands, shifting his weight from side to side before they tried the monkey bars for the first time. Right now he was biting the inside of his cheek and started shifting in his seat whilst he drove. Nothing much but it was noticeable to Izuku. He never wanted to look scared in front of him but he could always tell in the micro-ways that Katsuki held himself in those moments.
He took a breath before he spoke his next words carefully.
“I think this arrangement could work,” Izuku states. Katsuki took his eyes off driving to look at him for a split second almost flabbergasted.
“Really?”
“Yeah, I mean it wouldn’t really be hurting anyone and I guess we’d both be benefiting from it in our own ways…” Izuku trailed off. “I can’t really say what our friends will think but if we’re going to do this it has to be believable.” He says, “As you said ‘we don’t fucking like each other’ so to make this look believable we have to convince our friends too. It might get back to ‘shit for brains if we don’t.”
Katsuki nods, “I fucking hate to agree with you. Shitty hair can’t keep his mouth shut to save his sad fucking life.”
“This’ll seem really out of nowhere to everyone..” Izuku hums to himself as he thought of a reasonable explanation to say to his friends. “Would they really believe that we’ve been in a secret relationship for years and have been trying to keep up a facade by hating each other so openly?”
The blond considered this momentarily, “It isn’t a stupid idea. You're still a fucking idiot though.”
“Yeah, yeah I’ll take that one.” Izuku laughed sarcastically.
“Maybe they’ll believe that I took pity on you for being a fuckin’ sad loser no one else would date.”
“Or maybe they’ll think you’re too hot-headed you can’t find anyone else to put up with your bullshit.”
“Touché.” Izuku could swear there was a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as he spoke. However, it was difficult to tell in the lighting of the street lights and passing cars.
"How are we going to play this?" He asks, "because I don't know if we can just say that we just got past our differences can we?"
"I don't see why not. Who cares if they believe it, it's our word against theirs idiot." Bakugo had a point. "What are they going to say? That we're not together? That makes them shitty friends."
That would make them shitty friends.
"I don't know how you can just do that."
Bakugo just grunted in response as he took a left.
"Have that kind of i don't care attitude." He says, " You've always had that."
Bakugo shrugs, "I don't see why I should waste energy on worrying over shit I can't control."
Izuku hums, turning to watch the traffic in front of them. "So what will consist of our 'relationship'?"
"What?"
"Well I feel like there should be some ground rules." He states as a matter of fact, "This will have to be believable, we will have to act like a couple like holding hands and affection. Will you, leader of the 'I hate Deku Club' and co-captain of hating love and affection, be able to do that with me?"
Bakugo brings the car to a stop outside of his house, "We don't have to plan every little thing idiot." He says crossing his arms over his chest, giving Izuku a glare. "When it gets to it we'll cross the bridge alright? The next game night is next week. Maybe let the shitty extras know before then."
Bakugo gets his phone out, clicks some buttons and holds it in front of them after turning on the light in the car. He sees that it's on the selfie camera and looks at him puzzled.
"Fuckin- come 'ere." He uses his free arm to wrap it around Izuku, pulling him closer to him. "Smile, nerd."
He snaps a few pictures in between Izuku's confusion but he smiles wide for the camera, tilting his head towards Katsuki. He changed his expression halfway through one of the photos and stuck his tongue out making the other scowl.
After the pictures were taken the blond moved away from him, typing some more.
"I've sent them to you, change your background and I'll change mine." He says, eyes still glued to his phone as he tapped. Izuku was still staring at him, a little wide eyed. "What nerd? Is this not what couples do? Change the phone background?"
"Well yes-"
"What's your problem then?"
"Nothing!"
"Then stop staring at me like a creep. You should put a heart next to my name or something too." Katsuki grumbled. "Now get out."
"Okay, I'll text you later Kacchan." He says getting out of the car with a small smile.
"Bye nerd." Is what Izuku heard before he shut the car door behind himself.
He made his way up to his door, giving Bakugo a wave as he drove away. He turned the key in the lock. Iida often felt safer locking the door when his housemates were out, which he understood. It did get a little creepy when you were by yourself. The house was still and dark, he figured Iida was asleep already which wasn't uncommon. He did like his routines and a full 8 hour sleep schedule. Which Izuku couldn't fault him for.
Sighing, he locked the door behind him before he made his way up to his room. Flopping on his bed after kicking his shoes off he opened his phone, Ochako hadn't responded to his text about leaving the party but Shouto had just sent a thumbs up emoji.
Clicking back, he opened the messages from Bakugo. They hadn't texted much just quick updates about where each group of friends was if they were hanging out. Other than that it was bare. Now opening the messages he was greeted with the photos they had took less than 10 minutes ago. They did kind of look like a couple.
He smiled as he scrolled through them, he landed on the photo where he was told to smile. It was a nice picture and Bakugo was also giving a small smile which was rare to see, if he wasn't smiling in triumph his face fell on a scowl. Which wasn't the most attractive face he could be pulling but Izuku figured it's still won him women over the years. Ochako mentioned something about girls loving bad boys and Bakugo looking like one. Now he's realising she was probably saying that because she is also attracted to him in some way.
He decided that this was going to be his lock screen.
Izuku figured he should probably change Katsuki's name whilst he was on their chat. Like he told him too before he left the car.
'Kacchan🧡'

Hiya! I was wondering if i could have a shoto and Natsuo tickle fic, where maybe shoto comes home for dinner and fuyumi has to leave to go to the store leaving then two alone for a bit to bond.
Its totally ok if you don't want to!
Thanks!
Since I'm not taking full fic requests but I thought this was a cute idea, I decided to turn it into a Coffee Shot instead. Hope you enjoy!
Also was gonna sit on this one for a minute but the mood hit me so here it is - happy Sunday evening!
~~~
“Time for winter uniforms already, huh?” Natsuo remarked as he plopped on the couch next to his younger brother, bowl of popcorn in hand. They were about to watch a movie now that Fuyumi had gone out for a couple of hours; it was rare for the two of them to have any time alone, and they didn’t really know how to interact beyond pleasantries and movies or gaming.
They were working on it. The whole family was.
Todoroki nodded and reached for a handful from the bowl. “Yeah. Not much different from my summer uniform, really.”
“You wear long sleeves even in the summer, right? Even though half your quirk tends to burn it to ashes?”
Todoroki shrugged a little sheepishly, now reaching for the remote that lay between them. “I guess so.”
“What is it? You just don’t want the class to see how toned you’ve gotten?” Natsuo teased, aiming a quick jab for his brother’s ribs that made him squeak and dart his arm back to his side reflexively.
“I don’t care about that,” Todoroki managed through a timid smile. “But Bakugou kind of handles that showing off thing for me, so…”
“So you don’t want to be too extra?” Natsuso poked him again.
“That – that’s exahahactly how he’d prhrahahase it – Nat, plehehease!” Todoroki gradually broke down into a fit of giggles, the popcorn in his hand spilling to his lap and the floor as he squirmed with every poke and pinch to his ribs.
Natsuo chuckled and put the bowl aside entirely, reaching both hands for the younger boy’s torso. “How are things going with him, by the way? Any progress? Have you confessed yet? Come on, I wanna know all about my little brother’s love life!”
“Nahahahahahat, plehehehehehehease!”
“Please what?”
Instead of falling into the trap of asking for more tickles or begging him to stop entirely, Todoroki darted his hands for Natsuo’s knees and squeezed.
“Ah! No fahahahahahair!” his brother squealed, instantly going into defensive mode, giggling and pushing Todoroki’s hands away. “Your knehehehehehees aren’t tihihihicklish – you dohohohohon’t know what it’s lihihihihihike!”
Todoroki scoffed, but he was grinning. “Like I’m not more than ticklish enough everywhere else to make up for it? Come on, Nat – you started it. Show me what you’ve got!”
They have a crush~ Momo Yaoyorozu Headcanon
❖ MHA/BNHA, Momo x genderless reader
❖ Headcanon, possible series part 1, fluff, romance
❖ No trigger warnings today!
❖ wc: 850
❖ @kimnamshiks @d0uble0hd0nut ❖ Masterlist ❖
. ⋅˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ ⋅˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
My first time writing for one of the gals! Inspired by my friend and her love of "Wamins!"
. ⋅˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ ⋅˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Momo is such a doting partner lets begin with that however, she is also a romantic who has seen most romance through her rich and eccentric parents, or through cheesy romance movies and fanfiction
She would totally have a little tumblr anonymous blog all about her crush on you long before she felt confident it was more than just a fleeting sensation.
Would totally have little lyric snippets about her feelings for you as posts to go as her status for that morning or lunch or tea time or dinner etc “When I see your face there's not a thing that I would change~” “Oh I can’t believe its happening to me! Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this!”
Several friends have caught on and know about it, some even send her little memes or romantic posts they think she’d like or relate to!
Or some memes to tease her for her crush as friends do
Expect her to blush and stammer and stutter around you, eyes lighting up if you ask to do something together
It can be work, fun, or just food she is as happy as the first time the others went to her house
This tall beautiful girl is so in love with you, she is total puppy eyes for anything you do
If you hug her she may short circuit for a moment out of complete joy and panic before hugging you back gently
She is not super strong like some other heroes but she does work out and she never wants to press even slightly too hard when she reaches for you
Queen of respecting your space, she strictly adheres to your boundaries and won’t even ask if they’ve changed when you both get closer. So if you start out not wanting skinship as that is something you reserve for people you’re really close with you will need to be the one to bring it up if you change your mind.
Seriously out of respect, she may not realize if you just try to hold her hand or hug her after you’ve gotten closer, she is daintily stepping out of reach thinking you had moved closer unintentionally and she doesn’t want to erode your trust in her even by accidentally breaking your space bubble
A Momo with a crush will slowly gain more confidence as she gets positive feedback from you. Of course, all of it anonymously goes on her blog, and she talks it out with her friends to make sure she isn’t missing anything and to plan her next steps
Bless their hearts, they help ground this romantic in reality a bit so she doesn’t end up confessing way too soon and way too publicly or dramatically to the point it might feel like a staged prank
Todoroki is sitting on her bed absolutely clueless as he listens to her babble excitedly to Tsu, Ochako, Jiro, and Hitoshi. Surprisingly other than his small mumbled words of surprise at relationship things in general makes good points for her and the others by just using logic and his level-headed reasoning.
He is also your biggest supporter of you two getting together because he sees how happy you make her and that alone makes him smile and tell you you have his full support…to what you didn’t know and Momo was too embarrassed and stunned to explain when he just walked off afterward
She can make anything with her body so long as she knows the molecular compound, or buy anything for you with her money. But she is too romantic for that, she insists on learning how to handcraft something for you
Lots of little love notes end up in your mailbox, hand scrapbooked edges and lace envelopes without a name
She moves slowly and lets you realize on your own through the small touches here, words of affirmation, handwritten letters, and small handcrafted gifts (even with bandaged fingers from failing at first to craft them properly) that she likes you
If you ask she will blush and stammer but tell you if you want to know then why don’t you go to the park with her that weekend and she’d answer you then
Like I said she is a romantic, It is clearly a date and she dresses up so beautifully and sets up a wonderful picnic on the grass by the stream
When you get there she’d finally confess unable to look you in the eyes as she plays with her fingers but admits she has liked you for a long time and asks if it’d be okay for her to act on those feelings today
Your hands being held together not only gets sent to the group chat while you two sit together and talk but posted to her blog as she adds a little dreams come true quote to it
Congratulations you have just gotten the sweetest woman as a girlfriend, she is going to dote and spoil you rotten. Please take gentle care of her heart, it's so fragile hold it carefully in your trusted hands
katsuki, shouto and izuku with a reader who is like giselle from enchanted !!
bnha main three x gn!giselle!reader.
type: headcanons, fluff (& a splash of angst if you squint reaaaally hard)
warnings: kissing, a bit of cursing bc bakugou is here but otherwise so much fluffy fluff ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭ reader's quirk is not mentioned per se.
a/n: hi, sweet people !! i've been practicing my english skills to write and expand my vocabulary but i'm still not quite good, so i apologize if you see something misspelled :c i accept criticism !! ok, so, yesterday i saw enchanted and disenchanted and realized how much i wanna be like giselle haha and when i looked for fanfiction with a giselle-like reader i was left heartbroken since i didn't find any TT so i took it upon myself to write something, hope you like this <3
♡ ୭̥ ° bakugo katsuki
this boy is known for showing his hate for sweet things, yet no one – not even him – is able to comprehend why you're the exception.
since the first day of school he can tell you're going to be more annoying than all the other extras. randomly humming and singing, using smooth arm movements as if you came from a fairytale.
you look harmless, a stupid pushover. his only comfort is that you won't get in his way.
or that's what he thinks.
because with time, he starts seeing more of you. his gaze starts to linger whenever you're around, putting careful attention to your actions, your expressions. wide eyes and radiant smile, always trying to spread kindness and love, so genuine; you're like an open book.
katsuki's rough, katsuki's loud, katsuki's explosive.
so imagine his surprise when he realizes with time that the sight of you makes his eyes soften, his chest warm, his guard drop.
he wants to deny it, he wants to deny it very strongly. however, everyone can tell how, little by little, he starts to open up to you.
he lets you be closer, so vivid around him. you can do things that others would get yelled at for trying. when did anyone see somebody getting into bakugou's personal space – whether it is laying on his shoulder or playing with his hair – and leave unharmed? when did anyone see somebody using his stuff and not recieving any kind of ill treatment for doing so?
the two of you start spending time together, much to his dismay because of your classmates' teasing. yet it takes you being in danger during a villain attack for katsuki to realize how deep his feelings are.
oh, no– he's falling in love.
and he goes livid. he might seem like someone who already acts recklessly during combat but that's not the truth at all. the want, the need to take you into his arms and protect you is what leads him to take such impulsive decisions.
don't get him wrong, he knows you can defend yourself; you're just as much of a badass as you are of an optimist, after all.
but it's this side you bring out of him. this soft, tender side.
it drives him crazy.
so, once the horror passes and your class settles into its usual endeavors, he does what he knows best: he tries to push you. he tries to make you leave, to scare you off.
but why aren't you running away?
why are you cradling his face with a gentle, loving touch?
one thing leads to the other and your lips meet in a true love's kiss, as you would say.
after that, katsuki resigns to listening to your rambling about animals and love and flowers–
he's there to give you a reality check when it's needed, anyway.
"get out of that pretty little head of yours, dumbass, there's fucking homework to do"
yeah, he wouldn't have it any other way.
bonus: you're literally a grumpy x sunshine pairing !! it's hilarious to see you two in the common room because katsuki seems to hold back in showing physical affection or any state of flusteredness. you learned not to demand it from him, either, because he always gets red and would hate for anyone else other than you to see it. it's alright, though, because as soon as you're alone he turns into a clingy puppy. good luck trying to get rid of him to do something just as brief as going to the bathroom !!
♡ ୭̥ ° todoroki shouto
shouto's life has never been any sort of fairytale. all that love chitchat... yeah, pretty much false.
but then he meets you, and you're so eager to show him.
so you start sticking to him, following him around. it could look like pestering for some people, but to shouto?
oh, shouto's charmed by you.
it takes him some time. before the sports festival, he couldn't help but give you cold stares and dry replies. of course, your enthusiastic self would take all of that without complaining.
but it is after the event that he starts to open his eyes and contemplate a little more of you. especially after you compliment his quirk and express how happy you are for him, for truly giving his all during the fights and making use of his fire.
another element, you said, that was part of him and needed to be seen. you mentioned how you believed in him, warm smile painted on your lips as you beamed with joy.
there was no way he would get his eyes off of you after that.
although shouto is quiet, his gaze is intense. thankfully you're unaware of such things – trained to being accostumed to stares by your whole life experience – so you can't tell how the next days he's so entranced by you and the way you carry yourself so gracefully.
you see beauty everywhere, often even stopping in your tracks to observe your surroundings. you seem to shine, delighted.
too occupied by twirling around and interacting with everyone around you, you fail to notice how he's softly smiling at the sight.
as time passes, your conversations stop being one-sided. his replies show more interest, it's not only about his gaze anymore but also about the way he accepts all your affections; melting into your touch.
the way he's always there to protect you when villain attacks happen, when anyone looks at you the wrong way or tries to talk to you in as much as a slightly rude tone. the way he comforts you whenever you're sensitive about something, never questioning where did it come from.
you're his top priority.
so when you share a first kiss, he feels his heart pumping so hard it could jump right off his chest. this unknown feeling, leading him to be so attached to you, was love all this time.
you were right about showing him, he figures.
because now holding your hand gives him so much happiness that he now kind of gets why you're so enthusiastic about said concept.
when you go on one of your rambles about it and ask him, "right?" he smiles at you and responds:
"yes, my love, i think i know now"
you smile at him, so widely as you always do, and he leans in to leave a kiss on your forehead.
bonus: when he tells you his family story for the first time, you cry. you cry so much until you feel his strong arms wrap around you. yet shouto, despite trying to comfort you since you were the one crying, feels as if your embrace comforts him. you hug him by the waist, rubbing his back so gently and carefully that it brings tears to his eyes. everyday he feels more enamoured by you.
♡ ୭̥ ° midoriya izuku
you meet for the first time with izuku because of bumping into him during the quirk's test on the first day of class. he falls and you crouch along with him, soft-spokenly apologizing and asking if he's alright.
as he looks up at you, the boy can only think of how you look exactly like an angel.
you best believe our baby broccoli blushes furiously to his ears.
it doesn't take you anything to become friends and when you do he realizes that, despite both of you being pretty positive people, you have very different ways of thinking.
everything to you is magical, wonderful, exciting. izuku learned this from only the first few days of knowing you, and he found it really beautiful and encouraging. it was something to admire you for, and it never failed to impress him the way you would always be open to new opportunities, grateful for every single one you were given.
similarly, nothing to you was ever a problem! so when izuku rambled about his past, his difficulties with his quirk and worries you always found a way to make his point of view shift 180° and move on to positive thoughts.
in a world where he's exposed to so much pressure, you act as a beacon of life that peaks through the darkness.
and so, you're with him every step of the way.
he doesn't even know when his love for you starts blooming, especially since he has such a focus on heroics that doesn't usually let him think about anything else. but when he finds himself dreaming about your bright smile, mumbling as he watches you from afar sing to happy little animals you encountered, blushing to the tips of his ears by only hearing you say his name with so much care and glee–
he realizes too late he's down bad. in fact, he's the last one to realize, since the whole class watches in horror as you two interact so lovingly with each other as almost second nature.
mina has the theory that the two of you are secretly together, but it is obvious for everyone that if you two really were, you would be shouting it to the four winds. that's just who you are, and that's just how they know izuku loves you.
of course, you're the first one to make a move.
you go up to him before class one random morning and ask him if he would like to go out on friday afternoon. he accepts at first, smiling widely at you and you respond with a bubbly "alright then! it's a date!"
his face seemed to turn all shades of red and even go through some other colors before digesting that information.
"a-a d-date with me...?" he lifts a finger, you hum in amusement.
"of course, silly. i'd want no other prince for me but you."
needless to say, it goes amazingly and now the class has to deal with you giving him little pecks on his lips, cheeks and hands as he turns red because of the sudden affection.
bonus: in his notebook page about your quirk he has written a whole analysis of how you and your voice are appealing to animals and what does that have to do with it. he even tried talking about it to you, but your reply was: "i'm not quite sure, but i can only be grateful about them! they are my friends and i'm truly fortunate for their company!"
What ending would you have liked for the League villains in BNHA?
Well, there's two answers to this question. What would be my ideal ending to the League of Villains requires major story structure changes. To the point where it almost becomes an entirely different story,v venturing into fanfiction territory.
Basically keeping the story as it is until My Villain Academia, there's no longer a clear and distinct line between Hero and Villain. Shigaraki is now the real deuteragonist of the story, and the story is split between Deku's journey and Shigaraki's.
The league are no longer just an insane fringe element that doesn't deserve to be listened to or have their wrongs redressed. Since they now have the MLA they have public support behind them, they like become actual rebels against hero society with even public support. Either the War Arc doesn't happen, or the villains win and society is effectively destroyed so that the heroes no longer have their tight grasp.
A bunch of kids die in the war, because they weren't relevant and it's a consequence for UA raising child soldiers. The remaining relevant kids are forced to cope with two realities, number one they were violent enforcers of a broken system, number two the villains are right in some ways. A moment of the kids going "Are we the bad guys?" However, they can't agree with destroying everything so they have to fight to rebuild. The kids have lost faith in the adults, break off from them entirely so the adults no longer hog all the screentime and try to attempt to solve the problem on their own. Also, Enji dies in the war arc because Hori didn't do anything satisfying with his character beyond that part, and Dabi is hit with feelings of: oh no killing my father didn't fix my problem.
Then you'd basically have to have the narrative find a compromise between Shigaraki's complete radicalism but lack of any motivation to rebuild, and Deku's desire to save others but lack of self-awareness about the evils of his society and how the system can't be fixed as it is. Like a war between the opposite forces of preservation and destruction and Deku and Shgiaraki having to eventually work together to build their world. Maybe Deku even manages to convince Shigaraki there is a future, and save him from statements like "I don't care what happens next." The League of Villains and the reduced Class 1A are like two parallel groups in the manga running in tandem, and also Deku's bonds with his friends are closer now and actually shown in story they become a tight knit group so both sides are trying to protect the people they love too.
Here was my realistic ending I was expecting when the war started. The kids fight their respective villainous foils and then manage to talk them down and solve things with words instead of violence. Then the villains and heroes team up in order to save Shigaraki from AFO, which is the first step of redemption of the league, and also the kids realizing that the league love each other. At the end of the fight Deku tells Shigaraki what he's always wanted to hear when he was Tenko, "You can be a hero, too." bookending the story with the words All Might told him. The villains either get rehabilitated because they helped take down AFO, or they run off to become vigilantes.
What we got was everyone being sent to hell instead and that sure is something.
Hi guys lemme rant about my hero academia for a bit here
As an avid sns (naruto) shipper that's been here since the dawn of time i am so so surprised by the shift in popularity in favour of bkdk (bnha).
You see, back when i STARTED bnha i was still under the influence of naruto shippuden ending. And i couldn't help myself drawing paralels between bnha and naruto. Sns has some similar aspects to bkdk so it became my fav bnha ship right away. Deku has a secret power/quirk and a saviour complex, bakugo is a natural prodigy who bullies him, they're rivals, ect... but people hated it! They did not get it, but since sns used to get the same treatment way back when, i ignored the hate, trusting.
i fell off the wagon round s4. But recently i hopped back on and caught up with it. At first i picked up bkdk fanfiction and called it a day.
(Hello, From the sidelines??)
But then i remembered... Dabi existed.
And I SWEAR TO GOD
i always knew. It was the same thing as Naruto-Minato all over again, and i can't be fooled twice. Like!!!!! They have the same eyes, and the super rare almost exact same quirk? Lol, not that big of a reveal.
But! ...Dabi. I'm really glad i watched s6 for him. i love him and his story so much, and i'll NEVER get over it. If Endeavor has no haters, i'm dead. Ik it's bc of my own raging daddy issues, but idc.
What i wanted to rant about is that back then it was weird to ship bkdk. Also, it was considered weird to like any of the LOV, with Dabi being pretty high up there. He used to be considered a true 'hear me out' if i remember right. And for this reason i don't think i have any evidence of my undying loyalty for this young man from back in the day. But it's still burning just as bright as he is 💙 no pun intended.
**
And i used to ship Hotwings like crazy but after Hawks straight up murked Twice i kinda lost the plot. i have to do some serious mental gymnastics to still be able to make them work.
Anyways lots of love for my pretty little pyro!!!You will always be loved, Dabi 💙
I have people asking about the doodles collection posted in my bnha/demon slayer x reader fanfiction in Quotev. The image link is broken, and it took me so long to recover all these so I'll just post them in bulk here LOL
Here's my Bouquet of Wisteria fanfiction if anyone's wondering!
Some Q&A I did with doodles reply:
What do the brothers think of Lotus-chan (Reader) and Shoto's relationship?
What happen after Hagakure walked in on Giyuu and Lotus-chi's (Reader) discussion?
Did the characters she give demon protection gifts still kept them?
For Villains: How do you feel about Reader's matches? First impressions?
If Reader had a demon ranking what would she be?
#prince does art#Bouquet of Wisteria#mha x reader#bnha x reader#demon slayer x reader#idk what else to tag this as#x reader
Nope!
That's literally what I go by! 😂
Hi! I'm a writer! Up until relatively recently, I was in the freeform space. I took up writing fanfiction first as a way to try to break some writers block, but found myself enjoying building upon the world of MHA/BNHA, and at the moment, Hawks.
I'm ADHD as fuq, so I currently have three WIPs currently published but a boat load that haven't seen the light of day, while more just keep coming!
I do tend to focus on some of the harder topics, like heteromorphia, unlearning toxicity, and recovering from trauma; exploring these issues through my OCs and usually keeping it in a place where it still could work within canon timelines. And of course, gratuitous smut.
If this interests you, check them out below or see my author page here.
Rain is my OC ➡️ click for Profil ⬅️
Dabi is the Character of Kōhei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia / Boku no Hero Academia
Please note that English is not my first language. So forgive me for mistakes.
Ball pit
The streets were plunged into the darkness of the evening, and few people were out and about at this hour. In the distance, there was the faint screech of metal on metal - the sound of the old, abandoned amusement park that lay nearby. The air was cool, and a light breeze blew, making Dabi's coat and Rain's feathers flutter gently.
Rain walked beside Dabi with a light, confident step. Her deep red eyes gleamed in the dim light of the street lamps, and her black wings shimmered like dark fire. She wore a black leather outfit that accentuated her slender figure, and the light from the street lamps reflected off her feathers in a dark red glow as she kept turning her head to make sure no one was following them.
"Kurogiri really could have told us earlier," Dabi muttered in a slightly annoyed tone. "Why do we have to buy this crap anyway?"
Rain shrugged and smiled slightly. "Well, maybe he wants us to get some fresh air."
Dabi rolled his eyes. "Fresh air, sure. In this area?"
They reached the small market that was still open. The neon light above the entrance flickered and an old woman sat behind the cash register. It was a small shop filled with all kinds of household goods. They walked through the narrow aisles and Rain began putting the things from the shopping list into the hand basket: dishwashing liquid, cleaning products, a few sponges.
“So, is Shigaraki planning something?” Rain asked casually as she examined a bottle of dishwashing liquid.
"As always," Dabi replied shortly. "A lot of talk, little action."
Rain nodded. "Sometimes you just have to be patient with him."
Dabi looked at her sideways. "You're pretty optimistic for someone in our position."
"I just believe that things can change for the better," Rain said, putting the dish soap in the basket. "Even for us."
Dabi snorted, but a slight smile played around his lips. "Very well. Let's hope you're right then."
They made their way to the cash register, and as Rain paid, Dabi looked around. His eyes fell on a man who had just entered the store. He was tall, wearing a hooded jacket, and seemed to be studying her.
"Rain," Dabi whispered quietly, not taking his eyes off the man. "We have a problem."
Rain followed his gaze and saw the man. Her eyes narrowed slightly when she realized he was staring at both of them. The man pulled his hood further over his face.
"You are..." the man began, his voice hesitant and excited at the same time. "You are from the League of Villain!"
Dabi's face hardened. "Damn," he muttered, taking a step forward. "Let's get this sorted out quickly."
Before he could go any further, however, Rain put a hand on his arm. "Wait," she said quietly, her voice calm and urgent. "Not here. This is a public place."
"He recognized us," Dabi growled, giving her a grim look. "I'll take him out before he causes trouble."
Rain continued to hold him. "What if he starts screaming or calls the police? We have to stay low profile. Kurogiri will kill us if we make a scene now."
Dabi gritted his teeth, but he knew Rain was right. He reluctantly let the flames that were already glowing in his hands go out again. "Very well. But if he makes a sound, it's his turn."
Rain nodded and turned to the man, her posture more relaxed but her eyes alert. "Hey, you. We don't want any trouble. We're just here to take care of some stuff."
The man seemed uncertain, but also determined. "I know who you are. You are one of the bad guys."
Rain gave a gentle smile and took a step closer. "It's not as easy as it looks. Sometimes what you do isn't just black and white. You know what I mean?"
The man hesitated and his hand slowly slid towards his jacket pocket.
In one fluid motion, Dabi grabbed Rain's arm and pulled her along as he dashed out of the store. The man called out to them, but they barely heard him as they ran down the street, straight toward the abandoned amusement park.
"What's going on?" Rain shouted as she broke free and lifted off the ground with quick beats of her wings. "We have to stay calm!"
Dabi continued running without looking at her. "If he calls the police, we have a problem. We have to get rid of him before he tells anyone."
They reached the entrance of the old amusement park. The rusty gates were half open and the old rides creaked softly in the wind. Dabi looked around while Rain landed next to him and closed her wings.
"What now?" asked Rain, looking around as well. "We can't stay here forever."
Dabi grinned darkly. "We'll hide until the coast is clear. And if someone comes, we'll know what to do."
Rain sighed and shook his head. "You're always up for a fight, aren't you?"
"Better than running away," Dabi replied, taking a step forward when he heard footsteps behind them. Without hesitation, he grabbed Rain's wrist, his fingers wrapping tightly around it. "Come with me," he said curtly, pulling her along before she could protest.
"Dabi, what-?" Rain began, but her words were cut off by a violent tug as he pulled her towards a dark building with the door half open. The building was old, the paint peeling, and the wood creaked under their feet as they stepped through the door.
"What are you doing?" Rain asked as she tried to escape his grasp, but he held her tight. So she had to follow him through the narrow corridor. "We have to be more careful!"
"Quiet," Dabi hissed, looking over his shoulder. "Someone is lurking out there. It would be stupid to raise a voice now."
Rain wanted to object, but she felt the tension in his hand and paused. Dabi wasn't a person who often hesitated, and if he acted so decisively, he had to have a reason. Finally, she nodded and let him pull her along.
Suddenly they came across an old, heavy door, which Dabi pushed open with a powerful tug. They entered a room that was surprisingly large. A faint, bluish light streamed through the cracks of the old windows, giving just enough light to make out the outline of a huge, colorful ball pit that took up most of the room.
"You're kidding, right?" Rain stared at the ball pit in disbelief as Dabi let go of her and closed the door behind them. "Of all the places in here... a ball pit?"
"Better than nothing," Dabi grumbled, stepping forward cautiously, lightly nudging a few balls aside with his foot. "At least we can hide here until we know if the guy outside is really a problem."
Rain raised an eyebrow and looked around the room. "This is silly. How are we supposed to hide in here?"
"By laying between the balls?" Dabi suggested, his tone making it clear that he was only half joking.
Rain shook his head, but couldn't help but laugh a little. "You're impossible, you know that?"
Dabi shrugged and sank to the edge of the ball pit. "It's not perfect, but it works. At least until we figure out what's going on."
Rain sighed softly and sat down next to him, her wings folded close to her back. There was silence for a moment, only the soft rustling of the balls could be heard as they sat down.
"This really brings me back," Rain murmured, letting her hand sink into the ball pit. The small, colorful balls felt strangely soothing as she moved them gently.
“Back?” Dabi asked with a skeptical look.
"Yes," Rain answered, smiling slightly. "When I was little, I loved ball pits like this. I still remember hiding in the balls so I wouldn't have to go home."
"Seems like you have some nice memories," Dabi remarked dryly.
"A few," Rain agreed, throwing one of the balls into the air only to catch it again. Her expression became thoughtful for a moment. "But times are changing."
Dabi leaned back a little and looked at her from the side. "You've been through a lot, huh?"
"More than enough," Rain replied, looking him straight in the eyes. "But that's what made me who I am today."
"And that is?" Dabi tilted his head slightly, a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
“Someone who fights when he has to,” Rain said firmly and then looked back at the balls in front of him.
Dabi nodded slowly, as if he was processing her words. "Then we'll just sit this out. And if that guy outside is smart, he'll leave us alone."
“And if not?” asked Rain, her voice quieter but no less determined.
Dabi pulled the corners of his mouth up slightly, a dangerous smile on his lips. "Then you'll see what happens when you mess with me."
Rain slowly dropped the ball she was holding back into the ball pit and looked at Dabi thoughtfully. "I hope it doesn't come to that."
"I hope so," Dabi muttered, leaning back further, his eyes on the door. "A little excitement would make this errand a nicer one so far."
Rain gave him an incredulous look. "Really, Dabi? Are you seriously hoping for trouble just because you're bored?"
He shrugged and grinned slightly. "What can I say? I'm not a fan of boredom. Besides, if someone is stupid enough to recognize us and interfere, then they deserve what they get."
Rain shook his head, but couldn't suppress a small smile. "You're incorrigible. But I suppose that's one of the reasons we work so well together. You're always good for a surprise."
Dabi laughed softly, a rough, scratchy sound that echoed in the silence of the room. "And you're always there to stop me from doing too much shit. A good balance, I'd say."
"Yeah, maybe," Rain agreed, leaning back as well, her knees drawn up to her chest. "But you have to admit, sometimes a little restraint wouldn't be a bad thing. Not everyone has to burst into flames just because they look at us the wrong way."
Dabi grinned crookedly. "You say that now. But wait until you have someone who really gets on your nerves. Then you'll see how good a little fire feels."
Rain laughed, a warm, soft sound that seemed to fill the room. "Oh, believe me, I know exactly how good fire can feel. But I try to save it for the right moments."
"The right moments, huh?" Dabi raised an eyebrow. "And what exactly are those moments?"
Rain thought for a moment, her red eyes fixed on the colorful balls in front of her. "Moments when it's really necessary. Not just because I can, but because it's the right moment."
Dabi snorted quietly. "That sounds way too heroic for my taste."
Rain smiled and shook his head. "It's not heroic, Dabi. It's just... sensible. My Quirk is powerful, but it's also limited."
Dabi raised an eyebrow and looked at Rain curiously. "Limited? Come on, you have those damn fire feathers and can turn people into ash in seconds."
Rain nodded. "Yes, but unlike you, I don't have infinite firepower. Once my feathers fall off my wings, they are only usable for a limited time. If I have to regenerate them too often or too quickly, it weakens me."
Dabi looked at her in surprise. "I didn't know that."
Rain shrugged. "It's not something I like to say out loud. But yes, every feather I use has a fire core that is consumed. As soon as that is used up, they turn to ash and immediately regenerate on my wings. That costs energy, though."
Dabi leaned back and seemed to think about it. "And what happens if you use too many of them at once?"
Rain sighed. "The more feathers regenerate at once, the longer the process takes and the more energy it costs. It's a dangerous game, especially in a long fight."
Dabi looked at her in silence for a moment. "So you're not only pretty, but also clever."
Rain felt her cheeks heat up. She blushed and looked at him in disbelief. "What did you just call me?"
Dabi shrugged, a mischievous smile on his lips. "Pretty and clever. It's not the first time someone has told you that, is it?"
Rain crossed her arms and shook her head, trying to hide her embarrassment. "I wouldn't have expected that from you. You're not usually so... charming."
Dabi grinned. "Oh, just because I don't give compliments often doesn't mean I can't give them. Besides, I only tell the truth."
Rain snorted and shook her head slightly, although she felt her heart beating a little faster. "Well, if you say so."
Dabi moved a little closer, his gaze more intense. "Don't act so surprised, Rain. You know you're more than just a pretty face. Your powers, your intelligence... There aren't many like you."
Rain looked away and bit her lip, unsure how to respond to his words. It was rare for Dabi to be so... kind. "Thank you," she finally murmured, her voice quiet. "It... It means a lot to hear that from you."
Dabi nodded slightly, his eyes still on her. "You're welcome. Just because I'm an arsonist doesn't mean I can't see what's right in front of me."
Rain smiled a little, her embarrassment fading a little. "I guess you have your moments."
“Only sometimes,” Dabi replied with another crooked smile.
Rain looked into his eyes and found a depth in them that she hadn't expected. She lost herself in those eyes that seemed like a shining ocean and at the same time harbored an untamed flame. It was as if she could see another side of Dabi in those eyes, a side that was far removed from his rough, aloof nature. A side that was thoughtful, maybe even vulnerable.
"What?" Dabi asked, a hint of uncertainty in his voice. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Rain blinked and shook her head slightly to regain her composure. "Nothing, it's just..." She searched for the right words and finally found them. "I never noticed how beautiful your eyes are."
Dabi stared at her, completely surprised by her sudden confession. "Beautiful? My eyes?"
Rain nodded slowly, her red eyes searching his again. "Yes, they are... fascinating. So intense and alive. Like fire burning on a cool night."
Dabi seemed speechless, which was rare. He had heard many things in his life, but a compliment about his eyes was definitely not one of them. "Um... thanks," he mumbled, embarrassed and unsure of what to say.
Rain smiled and tried to break the tension. "Hey, just because I'm pretty and smart doesn't mean I can't notice when someone else is good-looking."
Dabi shook his head and snorted in amusement. "You really know how to take the wind out of someone's sails, Rain."
“Just one of my many skills,” she replied with a grin.
For a moment, there was a comfortable silence between them. They could both feel that there was something unsaid between them, something that was heavy and yet light at the same time. Maybe it was the tension of the moment or simply the awareness that they meant more to each other than they wanted to admit.
But suddenly Dabi became serious again. His gaze wandered back to the door they had come through and his eyes narrowed slightly. He seemed tense, as if he was waiting for someone to come through the door at any moment. His posture was alert, his hands slightly raised, ready to use his Quirk if necessary.
Rain watched him in silence for a few minutes. She could see his muscles working beneath the surface of his white shirt, his eyes resting restlessly on the door. The tension in his body was palpable. She understood why he was so alert - they were still on the run and had to be prepared for anything. Still, she felt they needed to ease the tension a little.
“Dabi,” Rain finally said, looking at him with a mischievous smile.
Dabi turned to her, only to have a small, colorful ball thrown right at his head. The ball bounced slightly and landed on the ground with a soft thud.
There was complete silence for a moment before Dabi realized what had just happened. Rain grinned broadly and tried to suppress a giggle. "So, how was the surprise?"
Dabi blinked and then slowly rubbed his forehead where the ball had hit him. A smile that was somewhere between amusement and disbelief spread across his face. "Did you just... throw a ball at me?"
Rain nodded, barely holding back her laughter. "Yes, I did. You looked so serious, I thought you could use a little distraction."
Dabi shook his head and couldn't help but laugh with her. "You really are incredible, Rain."
Rain picked up a handful of colorful balls from the ball pit and threw them into the air, causing them to fall around her in a shower of colors. "Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment, you know? Even if we're on the run."
Dabi watched her and the smile on his lips grew wider. "Maybe you're right. Maybe we should do this."
He bent down, picked up one of the balls, and playfully threw it back at Rain. She caught it, giggling, but saw out of the corner of her eye too late that Dabi was moving toward her. Before she could react, he grabbed her by her waist and lifted her effortlessly, twirling her around once, then dropping her into the ball pit with a thud.
Rain laughed out loud as she landed in the colorful balls. "Hey! That was unfair!"
Dabi grinned and sat on the edge of the ball pit, his legs dangling casually in the sea of balls. "Who said I play fair?"
Rain grabbed a ball and threw it in Dabi's direction, where it bounced off him without effect. "You really play dirty, you know that?"
"Hey, I'm not a hero," he replied, shrugging his shoulders. "Why should I play fair?"
Rain grinned and shook her head. "You know, I'm not a hero either. I'm a mercenary, and I play by my own rules."
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she suddenly jumped up, slipped through the colorful balls to Dabi and grabbed him by the legs. Before he could react, she pulled him into the ball pit with a strong tug and the two of them fell together into the sea of colors and soft plastic balls.
Surprised, but also amused, a grin spread across his face. "Damn bitch," he muttered, laughing as he tried to straighten up. "I should have known you wouldn't put up with this."
Rain giggled as she also freed herself from the pile of balls. "Believe me, that was harmless. If you start to surprise me, you have to expect that I will hit back."
Dabi tried to stand up between the balls and looked at her with a grin. "You don't let anyone get away with anything, I like that."
"Like I said, I'm no hero," she replied, throwing another ball in his direction. "And I'm not exactly known for holding back."
Dabi caught the ball and grinned back. "Well, you really want to know, hmm?"
Rain took a handful of balls and playfully threw them into the air, so that they rained down on her again. "So what are you up to?"
"Let's see," Dabi said as he got into an attacking position. "Maybe I should show you how to really play."
He threw a few balls in Rain's direction, which she dodged. She threw them back, and soon they were involved in a happy chaos of balls and laughter. The room echoed with their happy shouts and the sound of the balls bouncing on the floor.
"For someone with wings like that and a peacock's tail, you move really fast," Dabi shouted over the chaos as he attempted to throw another ball at Rain.
Rain laughed and ducked to avoid the ball. "And you're really talented at dodging. Maybe you should try being an athlete, not a villain."
Dabi responded with a crooked grin and made his way through the balls to her. Before Rain could react, he grabbed her tightly around the waist and pulled her towards him playfully.
"Hey!" Rain protested half-heartedly, but the laughter in her voice revealed that she wasn't really serious. Dabi ignored her weak protest and fell backwards into the colorful balls with her. They landed softly, surrounded by a sea of colors, the balls rolling away in all directions.
Rain lay on top of him, their faces just inches apart. For a moment, time seemed to stand still. Their breaths were quick from the excitement, and their eyes met. Rain's red eyes sparkled vibrantly yet gently, while Dabi's turquoise eyes glowed in a way she had never seen before.
They lay there, immersed in the soft, colorful balls, and everything around them seemed to become unimportant. Rain's hands rested on Dabi's chest, and she felt his heart pounding against her fingers, fast and hard. She could smell the scent of his skin, a mixture of ash and something indefinable that she found irresistible.
Dabi raised a hand and gently brushed a strand of hair from her face, his fingers lingering on her cheek a moment longer than necessary. His gaze wandered over her face, from her eyes to her lips and back to her eyes, as if he was taking everything in at that moment.
Rain felt her heart skip a beat and she realized she had been holding her breath. She felt a tingling sensation run through her whole body, as if something had changed in that brief moment. She couldn't remember the last time she had been this close to someone and felt this safe.
For a moment she was tempted to lean closer to him, to close the tiny distance between them. But then a hint of uncertainty flickered in her mind. She didn't know what she was feeling, but it was strong and confusing.
Dabi seemed to feel the same. His gaze softened, and he tilted his head slightly to the side, as if he was hesitant to say something.
Finally, Rain broke the spell and cleared her throat quietly, pulling away from him slightly. "Um, maybe we should..."
Dabi nodded slowly, his expression a mixture of relief and regret. "Yes, you're right. We should... focus on the essentials again."
They both sat up and didn't look at each other for a moment, as if trying to process the intimacy of the moment. Rain nervously ran his hand through his hair while Dabi arranged the balls around him, as if he needed to tidy up his thoughts as well.
"So," Rain began, trying to make her voice sound as light and casual as possible, "I think we've had enough of a break, right?"
Dabi grinned slightly, although his heart was still beating a little faster than normal. "Yeah, probably. We should get going before Kurogiri sends a search party after us."
They exchanged one last look, a silent agreement that something had happened between them. But now was not the time to find out.
With one last smile, Rain stood up and offered Dabi a hand to help him up. "Come on, we should get back to the bar before Kurogiri really misses us."
Dabi grinned broadly as he reached for her hand. A glimmer of mischief flashed in his turquoise eyes, and Rain couldn't help but raise an eyebrow skeptically. ("Oh God, what is he up to now?") But as soon as the words formed in her head, Dabi pulled her back down to him with a sudden jerk. Rain stumbled forward and landed directly on his chest again as they both fell back into the colorful ball pit. The balls rolled in all directions again, enveloping them like a protective shell.
"This is revenge for earlier," Dabi said, laughing and triumphant as he held Rain tight so she couldn't escape again.
Rain snorted and playfully slapped his chest. "You really are impossible!" she exclaimed, but couldn't help but smile. "You do know we'll never get out of this ball pit like this, right?"
Dabi pulled her closer so that their faces were only a few centimeters apart again. "Maybe that's my plan too," he said with a mischievous grin.
Rain couldn't help but laugh out loud. "It's a really clever plan," she replied, her voice half sarcastic, half amused. "But we have to get out at some point, don't we?"
Dabi held her for a moment longer, as if he was enjoying the closeness, before finally sighing and letting her go. "Fine, fine. But only because I don't want to get into trouble with Kurogiri."
Rain straightened up, still laughing, and leaned on his shoulders to get out of the ball pit. "That would probably be best. Besides, I don't feel like hiding any longer."
Dabi shook the colorful balls out of his coat and grinned. "It was worth it."
"Maybe," Rain replied, finally freeing herself from the balls and offering him her hand again. "But really. No more games this time."
Dabi took her hand again, this time without any ulterior motives, and pulled himself up. "I promise. No more games. At least for now."
They climbed out of the ball pit together and looked around once more, as if to remember the lightness and fun of that moment. With one last smile on their faces, they made their way to the door, ready to return into the cold night and make their way back to the bar. The darkness had deepened and an icy wind swept through the deserted streets, but neither Rain nor Dabi seemed to mind the cold. They remained silent on the way back, both lost in thought about what they had just experienced.
Back in the bar, it was quiet, the other members of the League of Evil were nowhere to be seen. The only figure to greet them was Kurogiri, standing behind the bar in his usual elegant suit. His shapeless body shimmered in the dim light, and his eyes glowed faintly as he saw them approach.
"There you are at last," he said in his calm, yet slightly reproachful voice. "What took you so long? I hope you got everything."
Dabi dropped the basket he had been carrying onto the counter with a thud. "Of course we got everything you wanted. We just had a little... misunderstanding along the way."
Rain sat down and added, "A misunderstanding that required a few detours." She gave Dabi a meaningful look, a smile that betrayed both amusement and a hint of embarrassment.
Kurogiri looked at them both with an inscrutable expression, his eyes seeming to pierce her as if he was trying to see the truth behind her words. "As long as you have everything we need, it doesn't matter," he said finally. "But next time, it would be better if you hurry up."
Dabi grinned crookedly and leaned casually against the counter. "Yeah, yeah, got it. We'll be faster next time." He glanced at Rain and could see that she also had a slight grin on her lips. The tension and the experiences of the evening had brought them closer together, and both knew that something had developed between them that they would not soon forget.
"Good," said Kurogiri and began to examine the purchases. "Then you can rest now. Shigaraki wants to discuss something with everyone again tomorrow."
Rain nodded and stretched a little, the feeling of exhaustion slowly starting to overwhelm her limbs. "Sure, we'll be ready tomorrow." She turned to Dabi and patted him lightly on the shoulder. "Thanks for tonight. It was... interesting."
Dabi nodded, his expression softer than usual. "Yes, that was it. See you tomorrow, Rain."
With a final smile, Rain turned away and went to her room, while Dabi watched her for a moment before disappearing into the darkness of the bar. Kurogiri watched the two silently before turning his attention back to the purchases.
Hobie can't find Diane. He hasn't seen her in days. And sure, he's not one to worry. But how could he not? He checks everywhere, and then as a final resort - he asks Miles.
"You've seen Di?"
Miles gives him a sympathetic look. "Hobie, I'm really sorry." He says, and for a second Hobie thinks something is wrong. But no, it's even worse than he can imagine.
"I...I got her into this anime and now... I don't know man."
Miles introduces Disco-Spider Diane to Anime
[Aka Diane loves Gojo and writes smut on the DL]
Now Hobie has NEVER been jealous in his life. He'd be damned before he lets himself get jealous.
But when your girl is laid up on the couch watching JJK for two weeks straight and you walk in on her staring at this on the screen???
Going "Gojo~ 🥺 ... Sigh..."
🤨😐
When she starts watching BNHA, it's game over.
She's always talking about how cool Dabi is and how she wishes she had a hot morally questionable superpowered boytoy to squeeze.
Meanwhile Hobie is sitting besides her like 'I guess I'm just chopped liver, ain't I 😭. Might as well take this bloody guitar and end my misery, why don'tcha?'
She sees one photo of Mirko and goes 'Oh my god, Bie. She's literally just like me right? Babe, she's just like me? I remind you of her right? We like.. the same person 🥺'
And then THE COSPLAY BEGINS. Not that Hobie is complaining about Diane walking around in sexy cosplay outfits. It's just weird when he compliments her outfit, and she's like "Thanks! I got it from-"
And then proceeds to show him the most ridiculous anime character ever.
It starts leaking into real life.
They're in the middle of fights and whenever they win she stops to do a Jojo pose.
She wears Sailor Moon cosplay to Spider Society HQ and loudly proclaims "I'm a Sailor Scout. Not a Spider-person."
(Spider-Scout, the half Sailor-Scout, half Spider-person is not amused)
She says very loudly during a meeting "OMG isn't Miguel like, Levi from Attack on Titan but tall? Like he has to use the lazer webs to fly in the air the same way Levi needs the wires to kill Titans and-
And everyone is like GIRL WHAT and Gwen, the only other person who has ACTUALLY seen AOT is like "No?? Diane. What are you talking about??"
It all comes to a head finally when one day Hobie comes to eat lunch with Diane.
He's always fashionable late within reason, but he walks into the cafeteria to see Diane hunched over a notebook, writing away.
That's rare.
With her dyslexia, Diane hardly ever writes - typically Hobie reads books outloud, recording them on cassette tapes for Diane to listen to later. But here she was, scribbling away.
And even in her twisted tiny handwriting he could make out the words
'Gojo x Black!Reader: Eyes like Oceans'
Hobie has no idea what the word 'Smut' means, but she's written it all over the page with the words "MINORS DON'T READ!!!!"
When he asks what he's doing, she jumps out her skin.
Hobie fights back a smile. And maybe even a laugh. "You writing fanfiction?"
"Maybe. No. Yes."
"What? You think Imma tease you? Can't be that bad can it-"
Cue Hobie reading most raunchiest, detailed, hoe-ish Gojo smut imaginable while Diane sits there like
Meanwhile Hobie side-eying the hell outta her 😭😭
She's like "We don't need to talk about the blindfold part-"
"And the part with the spankin-"
"I SAID WE DON'T NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT."
Finally, after weeks - Hobie caves.
He agrees to watch ONE anime with her and Miles, cause he wants his girl back wth 😭😭
Miles gets to choose - and he chooses one he thinks Hobie will like: Death Note.
Hobie doesn't just like it - HE LOVES IT.
Except....
"Oi, why's this L coming after Light? Mans is in the right."
"Uhhh?? No??? He's killing people with a magical notebook. L is in the right."
"And I kill people with a guitar, ain't no difference."
"Yes there is-"
"Oh but when Jogo kills people it's fine but when I-"
"FIRST OF ALL his name is Gojo and second of all Do NOT bring up my man. Hobie we will get to brawling right now, don't test me-"
Meanwhile Miles is like "WILL THE TWO OF YOU SHUT UP 😭😭😭😭 GODDAAAMMNN."
.... They agree to disagree. And Miles regrets his decision.
Now Everytime Hobie catches her watching anime Hobie will point at the screen at Diane's character crush and go "Bet I could beat his arse" - just to establish dominance.
Is he jealous? NO! Is Gojo his mortal enemy because he stole his girl without even being real? YES!!!
It's okay Hobie. Just cosplay as Sasuke Uchiha and you'll have her back right away. Maybe.
#I needed an excuse to incorporate Megan's Anime obsession into Diane 😭#Diane's like 'I'll be Sakura and you be Sasuke? pweease?'#I don't watch jjk but Gojo is a great pic imo#spiderman#atsv#spider man#marvel#across the spiderverse#hobie brown#spider punk#spiderpunk#Hobie x oc#hobie brown x oc#spidersonas#spidersona#DiscoSpider#discopunk#disco spider
hi! i saw you make bnha critical posts and i hope this doesnt sound rude and you arent obligated to answer this but whats your opinion on the big 3?? when i was super fixated on bnha they were my faves lmao and iwanna hear more opinions about them, still mad about how they did nejire sooo dirty
Ah these characters... I remember seeing them so much on my tiktok that it only serves to make the canon versions of them more pathetic. So let's go over each of them shall we?
Amajiki: Let's start with the shy boi first. Honestly, he's a big fat mood for us introverts... but that doesn't mean I can't talk about THAT scene!
I don't really have a lot to say about him compared to the other two since I think his character is fine enough, but what I WILL say is that he's done so dirty when it came to Bakugou blowing him up.
Yeah. That fucking happens.
That is something Hori wrote and drew because he probably thought it would be funny.
Amajiki was rightfully scared to death of him and tried to get away, but Bakugou caught him and literally blows him up because he refused to fight him.
And again, this is all played for laughs and no one gets on to Bakugou for going overboard... not even Kirishima who should've been angry at him for hurting someone he's been getting close to!
Wow! Glad to see people have their priorities straight here! And other than the occasional comment that gets what's wrong here, This once again shows how desensitized the fandom has become to Bakugou's behavior to where they think this is funny and nothing to be concerned about.
Because if Bakugou was THIS harsh during practice, imagine how it would go against an actual villain wanting to surrender.
Nejire: Oh Nejire, my sweet girl... Out of the trio here, Hori has done you the dirtiest.
Much like his other female characters in his story, you're only made to be fanservice and to just stand around and look pretty for boys to fawn over. To where your only shining moment was in a fucking beauty pageant, and not to mention Hori not even giving you a hero name while the other two get them.
You deserve so much better and to be just as well written as them.
Mirio: Honestly I don't have a lot of strong feelings for him since he's pretty simple.
He's meant to be who All Might could've chosen as a successor, but shows he doesn't need OFA to be a better hero as he strives to do it on his own.
But what gets me about him the most is that he never found out about Nighteye trying to groom him into being All Might 2.0 and his plan to get Izuku to give up OFA... and is now left to think of him fondly.
These three deserve so much more than what canon has given them, and with how much Hori screwed them over... it's better to just read fanfiction that expands on their characters.
august bnha fanfic recommendation post
hello! this post has been in my draft since early september because i forgot about it, but people seemed to enjoy my first “fic rec” post, so here’s another one!
also, can you tell time travel is one of my favourite tropes?
one-shot and completed works:
just the two of us (we can make it if we try) by ijustwanttodestroy [8k]
“This is super cliche, actually.” “I need you to shut up,” Hitoshi says. “You think they have cameras? Like you know, Saw type of shit? Are they watching us?” the criminal squints at the ceiling corners, his handcuffs rattling as he shifts in his seat. “Oh my god, what if they’re live-streaming this to some sick fucks on the dark web or something?" Detective Shinsou Hitoshi is trapped in a room with a criminal. One of them has to die.
alternate universe. thriller/crime/mistery vibes. gen. it’s super cool. it’s written masterfully.
Broken Hearts With Hope Seeping Through by Liridus [8k]
Todoroki Natsuo has always been one to deny hope, but here he found himself hoping again. - Natsuo tries to find a place in Touya's life again, regardless of how much he wonders if that's something he deserves.
natsuo being a med student. todoroki family bonding. toga being a younger sister to all of the todoroki brothers. it’s set during canon (and it’s what touya deserved).
i think i want to save you by phanatics [12k]
Dabi wakes up twelve years in the future with a new face, an ugly cat, and Hawks, who loves him.
dabihawks. time travel. it manages to be both cute and introspective. (honestly, to me this is the ending that touya deserved). i’m actually quite picky when it’s about dabihawks fanfiction, but this is definitely worth a read.
Things that Haunt Our Hallways by ghostwriterofthemachine [14k]
“It was a kid,” Yagi gasped out. He had his hand balled up into a fist and the fist pressed to his lips, as if to remind himself that he could not start screaming. “Or. Young person, maybe 20. Homeless, I think. Activated their Quirk on reflex and then ran. The kids—” Here, he pressed his fist harder to his mouth, sucked in a wheezing breath, as if the air itself was pushing down something with physical weight. “The kids—” “Scattered immediately,” Aizawa finished for him, and Yagi managed a nod. Yagi’s eyes were so dilated that the blue was almost invisible. He shook violently. He looked like a scarecrow in a windstorm. Someone activated a Fear-Inducer Quirk so powerful that it reduced All Might to this — of course Aizawa’s class had bolted. Or: A Fear Gas fic, BNHA style.
this is my absolute favourite bnha fic ever. it has lots of kudos and lots of bookmarks, which means a lot of people have read it, but if you haven’t: go read it now. but don’t forget to read the tags first. it’s gen and hurt/comfort and the whole class relying on each other, and also incredible all might characterisation.
By Any Other Name by SatelliteBlue [258k]
Through some freak accident of the universe, Dabi has been invited to compete on The Bachelorette. Have they actually seen his face? Surprisingly yes, and they still want him. For this season they apparently need a ‘bad boy’ to both balance out the hero contestant (why in hell is Hawks involved?) and to trash talk the show in interviews to appeal to audiences who don’t like the scripting. Getting sent on a vacation away from his annoying bandmates to complain and eat as much free food as he wants? Sold.
the dabihawks bachelorette fic. if you haven’t read it yet they you should, it’s great. bachelorette au, obviously, hawks is still an hero and dabi isn’t a villian, but he’s also not a normal civilian (read to find out why!). i don’t like reality tv but this made me want to watch the bachelor(ette) ngl. the sequel has only 5 chapters out but it doesn’t end in a cliffhanger, and actually it ends in the perfect place.
incomplete works:
Skip by GrumpySunshine [46k]
Aizawa Shouta was tired. Crouched on the edge of the roof as he was, he observed the streets below him silently. He was coming to the end of his patrol, and if everything remained as it was, he'd be able to catch a decent nap before having to report in to the school for another round of proctoring. Which, of course, is when he saw the kid being chased down the alley. *** Or Izuku is your average 21st-century kid. Being sucked through a time-traveling portal and dropped in the middle of a fantasy world with supervillains was not his idea for a good start to the new school year. Good thing he has everyone's favorite underground hero keeping an eye on him. With a hero by his side, how much trouble could he possibly get into while trying to find his way back home?
alternate universe + time travel (can you tell that it’s one of my favourite tropes?). yes, it’s incomplete, but it does not end on a cliffhanger. great friendships (it’s a gen fic), super funny, great characterisation of dadzawa and of 21st-century midoriya. definitely worth a read.
Thanks to the Elevator
Part 5
Fanfiction | Masterlist
Pairing: Aizawa × Fem!Reader
Fandom: BNHA | MHA | Word count: 3,2k
Categories: Workplace romance, enemies to lovers, tsundere, angst & fluffy.
CW: None worth mentioning. This chapter is SFW.
The next morning, you were awake before the alarm clock went off, your eyes fluttering open to gaze lazily around your bedroom.
You smiled at the sight that greeted your eyes: Shouta sleeping peacefully next to you, his head resting inches away from your shoulder, one of his legs draped across yours.
Carefully, you shifted your way out of bed, making sure not to wake him up in the process. You grabbed some clean clothes from your closet and headed toward the bathroom to start the day.
After a quick shower, you cleaned up the mess from the night before. A few moments later, you walked over to the bed, gently shaking the man awake. "Hey," you whispered as he opened his eyes. "Time to get up."
A sleepy rub to his eyes accompanied his sigh as he finally met your gaze. "Good morning. For how long did I sleep?" He muttered.
"Morning." You greeted, glancing at the clock to formulate an answer. "I think it should be about five hours."
He sat up slowly, yawning as he stretched his arms above his head. "Five hours? That's a record." He observed, rubbing his eyes again.
"I'll go make breakfast, okay? Make yourself presentable. You can use the shower if you want, I left a clean towel hanging by the door. We still have time to get to work on time." You assured him, pointing to the bathroom door.
"Mmkay, thank you." He agreed, swinging his feet over the edge of the bed and standing up as you turned on your heels and headed toward the kitchen.
The soothing symphony of pouring water harmonized with the gentle click of scrambled eggs on the pan as you cooked, the constant buzzing of the coffee machine catching your attention as well.
A subtle, affectionate smile curled at the edges of your lips. It wasn't every day that you had to cook for someone besides yourself.
The rhythm of footsteps interrupted your contemplation about how you should start the conversation. Turning your head to glance at the source of the sound, you observed Shouta timidly taking a seat at the dining table.
"Hey. How's my guest doing?" You asked, noticing he wore yesterday's clothes, the first buttons of his shirt undone. He looked tired, yet adorable.
"I'm good. Sleepy." He said, looking at you from under his bangs. "Thanks."
"Don't mention it. Didn't you get enough sleep?" You asked, pouring two cups of coffee before bringing it to the table, repeating the path to bring the plates of eggs and toast.
"I never do. But I slept better than usual." He confessed, sipping at the hot liquid. "Thanks for the breakfast."
"No problem." You smiled, having a seat next to his. "So, what's on the agenda for today?"
"I have a class to teach and some paperwork to do... But, as soon as we finish that, I'll probably just sit in my office after class and read something." He shrugged.
A tranquil silence settled, punctuated only by the quiet clinks of utensils and the distant hum of morning traffic outside, allowing the last delightful bites of breakfast to be savored. Curious, your cat came out of its hiding and walked towards you, meowing to get your attention.
"Oh! Here you are!" You smiled as you picked it up, scratching behind its ear and setting the fluffy animal down on your lap. The cat purred.
Shouta glanced at you as you focused on the cat in front of you, absentmindedly petting its fur. You met his gaze, and Aizawa averted your eyes.
You gave the cat a few more pats, enjoying the feeling of its soft fur between your fingers.
After enough spoiling, you put the cat back down, turning your attention back to Shouta, who was staring at you with a faint blush on his cheeks.
"What is it?" You asked softly, smiling warmly at him.
His blush intensified. "I just thought of something." He admitted, his eyes shifting down to look at his dish.
You raised your eyebrows amusedly as he looked back up at you. "What is it? Tell me, I'm curious now." You urged.
"Well... I've always liked cats." He said slowly. You could hear the uncertainty in his voice, and that made you chuckle.
"Well, cats are adorable." You reassured him as you stood up, picking up your cat and holding it carefully close to him. "See?"
Shouta stared at your cat for a few seconds, his expression unreadable. Then, he reached out and stroked its chin gently with his index finger.
The cat leaned into the touch, rubbing its head against his hand. Suddenly, you couldn't contain your laughter.
The man lifted his head, blinking in confusion. As he met your gaze, he joined in, huffing, the sound mixing with a chuckle.
"You're such a dork." You smiled, calming your laughter.
"Yeah..." he mumbled, "I guess so." He added, smiling down at the cat.
For a moment you only stared at each other before you spoke up again. "We should get going." You stated, glancing at the clock on the kitchen's wall. "We still have to go to our jobs." You explained.
"Sure." Shouta nodded, standing up from the table. He helped you clean up the dishes, leaving before you so he'd get the chance to stop by his house and change.
When you arrived at work, you walked over to your office, dropping your bag on the desk before plopping down in your chair.
You groaned as you pushed the thick stack of papers in front of you to the side, deciding to deal with them later.
Instead, you leaned back in your chair, closing your eyes. The muffled sounds of chatting in the hallway created a soothing background to your mind.
A few minutes later, however, your phone vibrated on your desk, startling you from your dazed state. You glanced at the screen, noticing a text notification.
'Would you like to meet at the cafe near campus tomorrow afternoon?'
A small, content smile graced your lips as you tapped out your reply.
'Sure. See you then.' After sending your reply, you placed your phone back on your desk, turning your attention towards the stack of papers.
It didn't feel like it took you long to fill out the pile. But when you were done, it was past lunchtime. You pushed your chair back and stood up, stretching your arms and popping your back before walking out of your office.
Just as you left the room, you ran into Mic, who was walking toward the teachers' room. "Oh! Hey there, Hiz! What's up?"
"Hello, buddy! Just passing by. Where are you off to? I haven't chatted with you in a while." He commented with his excited tone of voice, placing his hands on his hips.
"Oh, you know, work stuff. Nothing special, just paperwork." You brushed it off.
Hizashi nodded. "Alright, then. See ya later, sweetie! I'm in a hurry now." He excused himself, and you smiled at him reassuringly. He waved at you as he walked away, and you resumed your way to the break room.
When you stepped in, you immediately spotted Shouta, who was sitting in a chair, his laptop open on the table in front of him. He seemed to be immersed in whatever he was working on.
You approached the table, your thoughts dancing with a mix of curiosity and the remnants of morning warmth as you took a seat across from him. He glanced up at you. "Hey," he greeted, offering a nod in your direction.
"Hi." You replied, returning his nod with a smile before glancing down at his laptop. "Working on something interesting?"
He shook his head with a hint of a smirk. “Just plotting a lesson. And you, any adventures in paperwork?”
"Just finished it." You answered, and footsteps approaching the table echoed low in the room as the both of you turned to see Nemuri, who was embodying her provocative mood all over her demeanor.
She glanced between you and Shouta, her curiosity turning into a questioning eyebrow. "Hello, guys. Glad to see you getting along. How's it going?" She asked.
"Yeah. Everything's fine." Shouta told her with a quiet tone. He gave you a brief look, which you returned with one of your own.
"That's good to hear." Midnight smiled. "By the way, I was wondering where you disappeared to last night, but since I saw you here earlier, I assumed you had gotten home okay." She said, looking between the two of you.
You exchanged a glance with Shouta, silently agreeing to evade direct eye contact with her probing gaze. You knew that she would try to interrogate you if given the chance.
Then, she let out a sigh and shook her head, noticing your avoidance. "Fine, I'm not gonna pry anymore." She mumbled. "But know that if I find out something weird is going on between you two-"
"-then you can tell the others." You cut her off.
"Okay, alright." Nemuri rolled her eyes. "You know me too well. Just call me when you have time off. We need to catch up." She said, looking at you.
"Of course. I will." You nodded, gracing her with a smile.
Midnight's presence loomed for a moment longer before she seemed to relent. "Well, just remember, I'm always here if you need advice or someone to spill your secrets to," she said with a playful wink before sauntering away.
As she left, you let out a subtle sigh of relief, exchanging a glance with Shouta, both of you sharing a silent moment of gratitude for her understanding.
Once she was out of earshot, you turned back to Shouta, a subtle smirk playing on your lips. "See? Easy peasy. We just need to be careful."
He nodded in agreement, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Anyway, we probably shouldn't act so close in our workplace. We weren't like this, people will notice."
You nodded slowly, understanding what he meant. "Well, if it helps..." You shrugged nonchalantly. "If anyone asks, we'll just deny it."
Shouta chuckled lightly. "That doesn't exactly help the situation."
"They won't ask us anything like that." You argued. "Besides, we're not doing anything wrong."
He narrowed his eyes, a hint of suspicion plastered on them. "Are you considering what I said?" He asked.
You smirked. "Of course I am."
He sighed once more. “Okay. But please, let’s make sure not to draw any unnecessary attention."
"I promise." You swore. "But seriously, if anyone asks, we can just say that we understood each other when we got stuck in the elevator, which is still true." You reminded him.
He smiled. "True." He agreed, before standing up from his seat. "Now, I better get going. There's some important stuff I still have to check up on before the weekend arrives." He informed you.
"Okay." You smiled. "See you soon." You waved him goodbye, watching as he turned and headed toward the door.
- - -
As the seasons changed, so did the dynamic between Shouta and you. The once-muted glances that spoke volumes evolved into shared looks, brimming with a silent understanding that only the two of you comprehended. The air around you buzzed with unspoken words, and the interactions, once bound by professional constraints, now flowed with a natural ease.
One chilly evening, after facing down a particularly formidable villain, Aizawa found himself seeking refuge in a cozy little café with you. The warmth of the place mirrored the growing comfort in your friendship. The clinking of mugs and the gentle hum of conversation created a backdrop for your shared connection.
Seated across from each other, you couldn't help but reflect on the journey that brought you here. Shouta, usually stoic and reserved, would genuinely smile at your stories. The way your eyes sparkled with passion as you described the success of a challenging patient or the mischievous grin that accompanied tales of your exploits in life made him appreciate the person beyond the coworker. He realized that amidst the chaos of his profession, you slowly had become a source of solace.
Similarly, you discovered a side of Shouta that few were privileged to see. The subtle twinkle in his eyes when recalling a successful mission or the rare, genuine chuckle that escaped him during a particularly amusing story revealed a warmth beneath the stern exterior. Your conversations flowed effortlessly, free from the formalities that once constrained them.
The café, with its warm ambiance and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, became a witness to the blossoming connection between two unlikely friends.
This unexpected turn of events with Shouta brought a pleasant surprise into your life. The initial awkwardness gave way to a genuine connection, and despite his demanding schedule, the moments you managed to meet were always enjoyable.
As your relationship deepened, Shouta started spending nights at your place, preparing for his early departure to work with you. While you occasionally visited his home, the convenience of your proximity to the U.A. made your place the go-to.
Besides, Shouta's unexpected affection for your cat brought a delightful and endearing element to your shared experiences. His interactions with the feline added a touch of warmth and charm to your time together, showcasing a side of him that others rarely got to see.
During breaks from work, you both made it a ritual to visit the quaint cafe near campus. These moments became a cherished escape from the demands of your daily routines, offering a space for shared interests and the simple pleasure of each other's company.
Whether it was discussing mutual hobbies, sharing stories, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, these breaks became a haven of relaxation amid your busy lives.
At work, quiet collaboration became a norm during breaks, and observant colleagues noticed the absence of once-typical disagreements.
The unspoken understanding between you and Shouta added a new layer to your professional relationship, subtly altering the dynamics in the eyes of those closest to you.
In one of those breaks at the cafe, you found yourself sitting with Shouta during lunch hour, enjoying the calm atmosphere. The fragrant aroma of coffee wafted through the air as you exchanged stories and light conversation.
As you immerse yourselves in the moment, Hizashi, with his vibrant personality, strolled into the cafe. Spotting the two of you, he couldn't resist joining your table, his friendly grin stretching from ear to ear.
"Well, well! Look at this cozy little gathering. Mind if I join?" Hizashi chimed in, pulling a chair from a nearby table.
Smiling, you motioned for him to sit. "Of course not, Hizashi. Have a seat."
Hizashi sat down, immediately diving into the conversation. "So, what's the hot topic today, lovebirds?" He teased, winking playfully.
Shouta remained neutral, though he felt like rolling his eyes. "Just catching up. Nothing exciting."
Hizashi raised an eyebrow, his playful expression turning more observant. "You guys seem to be getting along pretty well lately. It's like there's a new vibe in the air when you're around each other."
Shouta glanced at you, a subtle nod confirming Hizashi's observation. Hizashi leaned back in his chair, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Ah, I see. The winds of change are blowing, huh? Are we witnessing the birth of something more than friendship?" Hizashi teased.
Shouta sighed, giving Hizashi a deadpan look. "It's not that dramatic, Hizashi. We're just... getting to know each other better."
Hizashi leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand. "Getting to know each other better? That's how it starts! Next thing you know, love is in the air, and boom! Cupid's got you both in his sights."
You couldn't help but chuckle at Hizashi's theatrics, appreciating the lightheartedness he effortlessly brought into the conversation. Despite your mutual efforts to avoid attention, Hizashi's teasing had grown significantly, and dismissing it wasn't working anymore.
Shouta, on the other hand, sat there with an expression that seemed to be a mix of mild amusement and contemplation, as if he was silently considering the most effective ways to escape the whims of his overly enthusiastic friend.
Yamada, true to his nature, continued the banter, playfully pushing Shouta's buttons about the newfound friendship between you two.
His animated gestures and exaggerated expressions made the shop feel like a stage for his spontaneous performance. Despite the teasing, there was an underlying sincerity in Hizashi's eyes, and it was evident that he was genuinely happy.
"Come on, Shouta! You can't fool me with that 'nothing major' nonsense. I've seen the way you look at her. It's like someone cast a love spell on you!" Hizashi exclaimed, his arms flailing dramatically for emphasis.
Shouta merely grunted in response, his usual stoicism momentarily giving way to a small, almost imperceptible smile. He shot back, "Love spell? You've been spending too much time with Midnight."
Hizashi gasped dramatically, placing a hand over his heart. "Shouta, my dear friend, love is a beautiful and magical thing. You should embrace it!"
A breath of laughter escaped your lips at the playful banter, thoroughly entertained by the friendly dynamic between the two teachers. Despite Shouta's reserved nature and Hizashi's flamboyant personality, the two complemented each other, creating a balance that could turn any place into an unexpectedly lively one.
The banter finally subsided, and Hizashi gave Shouta a final, encouraging pat on the back. "Alright, alright. I'll spare you from my love advice for now, but remember, I'm just a shout away if you need some guidance in matters of the heart!"
Shouta rolled his eyes but offered a small, appreciative nod. The air seemed to carry a hint of unspoken support, lingering like an echo in an empty room.
After the cafe rendezvous, the three of you walked back towards U.A., engaged in a light conversation about your day. However, Hizashi, being the perceptive friend that he was, noticed a certain tension in Aizawa's demeanor.
Later that day, Hizashi found a moment when he and Shouta were alone in the teachers' room. He grinned, a mischievous spark in his eyes.
"Alright, Shouta, spill it. What's going on between you and [Y/n]?" Hizashi asked with a playful yet probing tone.
Shouta, who was engrossed in some paperwork, glanced up at Hizashi. "What are you talking about, Hizashi? Nothing is going on."
Hizashi raised an eyebrow, leaning against Shouta's desk. "Please, I've known you for ages. There's something different. Spill the beans, my friend."
Shouta sighed, realizing that Hizashi wasn't going to drop the subject easily. "It's just... we've been spending more time together, that's all. Nothing major."
Hizashi nudged him with his elbow, a knowing smile on his face. "Come on, Shouta. You're not fooling anyone. There's a spark there. I can practically see it."
Shouta scratched his head, a hint of discomfort in his expression. "It's not that simple. We're just friends, getting to know each other better. That's it."
Hizashi sighed dramatically, feigning disappointment. "Shouta, my man, you've got to learn to embrace these things. Life's too short to keep everything bottled up. If you like spending time with [Y/n], just go with it. Who knows where it might lead?"
Shouta grunted in response, clearly not entirely convinced. Hizashi, however, was determined to be the voice of reason.
"Look, Shouta, I've seen you buried in work and responsibilities for as long as I can remember. You deserve a bit of happiness too. If [Y/n] is bringing that into your life, don't push it away. Talk to her. Figure it out. It's about time you let yourself enjoy something good," Hizashi advised with a sincere undertone beneath his usual exuberance.
The black-haired man sighed again, nodding in reluctant acknowledgment. The blonde patted him on the back, offering a supportive grin. "Just think about it, alright? And remember, I'm here to offer advice whenever you need it," Hizashi teased, earning another appreciative nod from Shouta.
